Get this: Poseidon & Hermes not-quiet-friendship-but-something-close-to that comes from being the only gods to really understand (and speak in hermes' case) modern day slang.

Hermes annoys/confuses everyone with it and gets shocked when Poseidon answers with something fitting. From then on they start bonding more over this, Poseidon also starting to annoy his brother's (Zeus mostly) with it.

I just want them to interact positively man :(

I find the fact that Juwon spent close to a decade in the UK during his childhood to be so interesting to me. That amount of time spent in a foreign country with a starkly different culture than what you're born with (especially when you're so young) will shape your character.

Some thoughts floating around my head, about how living in the UK has affected his character:

Joowon most likely has a british accent when speaking english, and that amuses me to no end.

I couldn't imagine how difficult it must've been for him to be forcibly sent back to Korea by his father. Spending that amount of time abroad will change you. Part of your identity will be formed based on the culture you immerse yourself in. The language your speak, the friends & acquaintances you've made, the food you eat, your favourite places you go to, the city you live in, the Aldi you shop at (haha), etc. Being enrolled in an international highschool must've helped in some way, but I doubt it would completely alleviate the reverse culture shock.

This is only an extrapolation on what I read from the source material, but I can imagine how unhappy he was upon returning back to Korea due to losing his home in the UK. Perhaps he felt naive joy as well, hoping he could grow closer to his father in his home country. He might've yearned to go back to Korea because he wasn't adjusting well to environmental changes when he was younger. As he grew older, I can see how he'd come to appreciate being physically as far away as possible from his father. His time in the UK was the only time he felt some sense of freedom/autonomy. I wonder if he missed this specific part of his past. After graduating multiple times with Honors, and realising that "being the best" like his father had little meaning to him.

I had another Good Omens fanfiction dream this morning.

Basically, Crowley was due to give birth. You might ask, Pestilence, what's with you and Crowley being pregnant?.. The answer is, I don't know, and neither does my therapist.

So, Crowley's due to give birth, he's scared and in pain. Beelzebub shows up, along with a few other demons (I guess I'll look through the Key of Solomon, I remember a few have to do with healing). She told him they'll support him. I have a feeling, the dream adhered to my idea that Crowley and Beelzebub are siblings (in spite Beelzebub looking like she does in S2, so Indian).

Crowley had to change to his snake form, because while his human form was male (so he couldn't give birth without surgery, which was too dangerous), his snake form was female. The demons put him in a whelping box (genius idea). Crowley gave birth to either 4 or 6 baby snakes (apparently, they're called snakelets). It was a live birth, which, fun fact, some snakes do give (i think boa constrictors, and snake Crowley kind of looks like one, aside from the colouring). The baby snakes then morphed to human form. I don't think Crowley nearly died, but he lost a lot of blood, and got extremely exhausted. No, it probably wasn't realistic to how snakes actually give birth.

(They were far larger, though)

Oh, and at some point, Aziraphale found out, but someone (possibly Beelzebub) forbade him from coming, because an angel's presence would distress the babies, and they wouldn't take human form. They could also die.

No, I don't think Aziraphale was the "father". The babies were demons, while, according to my headcanons, when an angel procreates with a demon, the baby's an angel, as it's the original form (though, they do retain some demonic features). Maybe, Crowley mated with an actual snake, or something... It would be very Greek and Norse god of him, but what the Heaven, dude... I guess, Beelzebub could act as the litter's she-father, once the two had reconciled. Which, is a word I use for maternal figures who, traditionally, would be considered more paternal. You know, kind of emotionally detached, more provider than carer, often absent, that sort of deal.

This is incoherent, but I only remember fragments. I guess, I will put it down in my notes for the future. I already did. (I'm kind of tempted to write the birth scene, I like writing birth scenes, they're brutal).

Don't you just have a love/hate relationship with when you are already swamped with WIPs, but the Fanfiction Gods send you another vision?..

Also, don't you just hate it when you give birth to a litter of snakelets, with the help of your coworkers, and your estranged sister.

What the Hell do you even name that many damn whelps...

Start of a little fic idea I've had :3 I'm thinking if I should make Poseidon actually wake up with his arm bitten off like when Kronos ate him or if I should just make him a child with both his arms intact. I like the angsty ideas I have for if I make him wake up without that arm. Technically this doesn't make any fucking sense, but it's self indulgence and I'm probs not gonna post this anywhere else so ya.

| It's not often that a God gets hurt, even less often that they get hurt this badly and by a godly weapon at that. The last instance had happened a forgotten time ago, which means there's not much known about how to treat a God after being so severely injured. So, after getting Poseidon back to Olympus, no thanks to any of the Gods, not even his own brothers, Apollo did all in his might to treat him. Now, Poseidon still lays unconscious in the sun gods infirmary.

It's not surprising that he'd take longer to recover, Athena is at the infirmary still as well after Zeus had struck her, but she's at least conscious. The other gods had at first not paid him much mind, even snickered while passing him, now they all had differing responses to his slow paced healing. Some passed by his room without a glance, maybe a bad feeling in their chest. Others checked up on him regularly, partly out of concern and out of curiosity. At one point Apollo had just left him to treat any other patient that got to his infirmary and to keep healing Athena, the one who's at least conscious.

Tonight was one of these nights, the god of the sun nowhere to be seen, most likely in his sleeping quarters like the rest of the gods besides Athena, who lays in the room down the hall from Poseidon. Athena had been watching the ceiling, deep in thought thinking about Odysseus, how wrong it all went when she left and how she could fix their friendship, now that he's back in ithaca. The Man has gone through so much, would he even call her a friend anymore? Would he tell his family to never pray to her again? Would he ever forgive her for leaving him to his own devices in the middle of his journey home?

Her thoughts were interrupted by a loud crash. It sounded like it came from further down the hall, maybe some other patient woke up and wanted to walk out, pushing over some medical equipment in the process. Apollo wouldn't be pleased with that but it wasn't any of her concern, not worth her attention. What did catch her attention though, was the shrill cry that sounded after the crash.

A very childlike cry.

That got Athena to her feet, she was still sore all over and it hurt, but she couldn't ignore it. Why would there be a child in Olympus? In the infirmary? The last time she checked, there were no children anywhere on Olympus.

The Godess stormed out of her room, not caring how loud the door hit the wall, most occupants of the infirmary were probably woken up by the cries, Apollo himself was probably awoken too. As she strode down the corridor, scanning every door, every inch of the hallway for evidence of the sounds source, she catches a faint, sweet smell.

Ichor.

It's coming from Poseidon's room.

'okay, he probably woke up, tried to get up and opened some wound.' Athena reasoned with herself, but that didn't explain the cries that are seemingly also coming from Poseidon's room. Why would the god have a child in his room?

Athena gently opened the door, not wanting to hit the already fucked over god with the door, and glanced inside.

The first emotion on her face was confusion, the cries were drowned out by her thoughts. Why is there a child on the floor? Where's Poseidon? How did this child even get here? Her thoughts were again interrupted by the child's loud sob as they tried to get up, failing to do so and fall back down on their arm.

Or more like the still bleeding stump of their arm.|

I live in a time when a fanfic of F1 racer Han Joowon exchanging contacts with Charles Leclerc and becoming friends with Max Verstappen exists. Also Joowon's teammate, Lee Dongsik, being work besties with Carlos Sainz & Fernando Alonso.

What a time. I thank whatever god up there for putting me in this era...

I'm such a fan of how the story gives Yuyeon & Jihwa the autonomy to fight their own battles, but leaving enough space to see our boys kiss on the podium.
