Ey, Bi! Eu estava aqui pensando: Toda doença carece de cura. E nem sempre é sobre a enfermidade em si. Tem doença que vem para resgatar a gente da gente. Louco né? Toda doença, carece da cura da nossa alma, do ajuste dos nossos valores e prioridades. As vezes ela é uma placa de pare, no meio da estrada. É um radar nos alertando a reduzir a velocidade. Quem corre demais, corre perigo, corre o risco de não ver, de não ser e não sentir. E digo mais! As vezes a gente perde a batalha contra a doença e vê o findar da vida. Mas no final, a gente ganhou e ganhou muito. Porque mais do corpos, somos alma e espírito. É sobre nós! Por isso a enfermidade vem de dentro. Engana-se quem acha que é perca. Quem enriquece em caráter, zera a vida. Literalmente.

Researchers map genetic variants associated with pancreatic cancer in Brazilian patients

The pioneering initiative by scientists at the University of São Paulo aimed to promote early diagnosis and improve treatment of the disease, which is relatively infrequent but one of the leading causes of death from cancer in Brazil.

Pancreatic cancer has recently been included in the list of diseases about which Brazil’s National Cancer Institute (INCA) periodically publishes statistics. Although it is not the most frequent type of cancer, its high lethality makes it one of the leading causes of death from cancer in Brazil, partly owing to late diagnosis. 

“It’s striking how little data on the disease is available in Brazil and indeed in Latin America as a whole. There are no studies on pancreatic cancer involving Brazilian patients because its incidence is low in this country compared with breast and lung cancer, for example. Yet it’s the type of cancer with the highest mortality rate – and it kills very quickly,” said Lívia Munhoz Rodrigues, a researcher at the São Paulo State Cancer Institute (ICESP) with a PhD in oncology from the University of São Paulo’s Medical School (FM-USP). 

Leading a team that included other researchers at ICESP, as well as collaborators at FM-USP’s Department of Legal Medicine, Bioethics, Occupational Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the D’Or Research and Education Institute (IDOR), Rodrigues conducted a pioneering study of 192 pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma patients treated at ICESP between 2018 and 2022 at the expense of the SUS (Sistema Único de Saúde), Brazil’s public health network. Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma is the most common type of pancreatic cancer.

The scientists used genomic DNA sequencing to look for alterations to 113 oncogenes – genes that can cause cancer when they undergo mutation or are activated in an abnormal manner – in the shape of pathogenic germline variants (PGVs), which are hereditary mutations.

Conhecimentos desejáveis: Pacote office nível intermediário, processos administrativos e atendimento ao cliente.

  Atribuições: Controlar e executar todas as tarefas administrativas em sua área de atuação (Hotelaria/Hospitalidade, Segurança Patrimonial, Engenharia Clínica e Manutenção Predial); Organizar todo o setor de atuação (Estoques, Pastas, ordens de serviço, guias, notas fiscais, check-list); Conferir notas fiscais e receber materiais de compras de sua área; Enviar mobiliários para a manutenção externa e conferir as notas fiscais. Realizar check-list em todas as áreas da unidade para a solicitação de manutenção e limpeza para as empresas terceirizadas; Promover treinamentos e educação continuada em sua área (PGRSS, Segurança, Auditorias); Controlar o envio de enxoval sujo para a lavanderia externa, verificar o recebimento, revisar o enxoval limpo e conferir as notas fiscais. Quando necessário, realizar o inventário do enxoval; Controlar a pesagem e quantidade dos resíduos gerados pela unidade (Comum, infectante, Tóxico, reciclável, Blister, lâmpadas queimadas, pilhas e baterias); Agendar coletas de resíduos com empresas contratadas, quando necessário; Emitir via sistema e imprimir os manifestos de transporte, quando necessário; Realizar inventário de equipamentos médicos e materiais de manutenção; Atender o público interno e externo, sanando dúvidas e suprindo as necessidades pontuais referentes às práticas e procedimento pertinentes à área de atuação; Realizar aberturas de ordens de serviço para manutenção via sistema; Realizar aberturas de chamados para empresas externas, via e-mail e telefone; Receber e acompanhar fornecedores e visitas, quando necessário; Representar a área/empresa em eventos e reuniões internos e externos; Apoiar administrativamente nas tarefas e demandas diárias na ausência do superior imediato. Quando necessário, acionar o gerente responsável localizado no ICESP de São Paulo para a tomada de decisões.

Tifa was cursing herself for not asking for help. Responding to a WRO call that there was a surge of beasts in the ruins of Sector 6, Tifa left without reaching out for assistance. 

As she stood there in the small clearing, debris everywhere along with the shattered memories of all of those that perished years before, she groaned. Blood was dribbling down her arm and neck from her injuries. Everything hurt like hell, but she kept fighting. 

As the final behemoth stared at her, its jaw open wide and rage in its eyes, she wondered if this was actually it.

The roar it emitted blew her down to the ground, her head hitting the ground. Slowly lifting it, she pulled out her red materia. Her vision grew hazy, stomach churning as the orb slotted into her glove.

Shiva, please...I need you...

The materia emitted its familiar, warm glow, as she closed her eyes and whimpered.

Even with their MARKS he felt young they did not care; self serving   &&  uncaring of their subjects below, his battles with the others of the Six to earn their favours had jaded the young Prince from ever trusting divine help  ━ perhaps, for a moment, even hers, though the fire inside him called out to trust Noctis held no love in his heart for those above who had set him here for their nefarious goals.

He wonders why she chooses still to help him, if perhaps she too only wanted to make everything right again.

He watches as she dances past him,  how the world freezes in her wake   &&   the enemies besetting him crumble HAPHAZARDLY to the ground in defeat, how she takes cheek in hand    &&   presses Ice’s kiss to the side of his head, lingers just long enough that the care behind it is shown so deeply, through such a silent action  ━ she moves away,   &&  though the cold makes his hands shake / shiver / tremble of their own volition, he reaches a hand to her, tries to grab hers.

He did not trust Gods, but he would trust her; a nod, though it holds no hidden meaning nor subtleties,   &&  a smile offered as she  drifts away.

Almost immediately he releases her from the shiny red materia locked tightly into his gauntlet, guilt rising up in his stomach from confining her. It hadn’t even occurred to him as of late that she might miss the outside world. “Sorry, I’ve just been distracted.” But she’ll already be aware of that... “And there’s not much sky to see in Midgar I’m afraid. It’s colder than Costa though, you never really liked it there.” He still misses it every day even with its faults, the beauty and tranquillity its beaches provided are sorely missed, the fresh air was pretty nice too, Midgar is a  far cry from his birthplace. 

“I missed you too, Shiva.” At least she is still here, and when he misses her there isn’t a need to cross an ocean just to see her, Shiva is with him always, ever loyal, never forsaking the love he has shown her just as she has shown him in turn.

O Brasileirão Feminino de 2019 começou neste sábado com 3 partidas. O interessante  foi que apenas os visitantes venceram nesta rodada de abertura.

Em jogo transmitido pelo twitter, o Corinthians, atual campeão, goleou a Ponte Preta, enquanto que o São José venceu bem o estreante Minas Icesp. Enquanto isso, o Audax bateu o Vitória em Salvador.
