Headcanons for certain Magoland masks
Tumblr media
I'm aware that Merry Magoland is not 100% canon, but screw it. I implement it and its masks into my headcanon universe anyways.
... And at that point, it begs the question as to how Magolor knew about certain people to be capable of making masks out of them.
Of course, one could easily interpret Magolor just traveling across dimensions and through the timeline to find out himself, but I prefer to go with a more fun route for my interpretation instead.
I'm more than glad to share my headcanons for certain masks:
-The blue, green and yellow Kirbies were literally just Magolor giving more color palettes for Kirby because he thinks Kirby is very special and decided to give him utmost privileges. Lol.
-How did Magolor find out about Nightmare? Here's how: King Dedede has a photo of Nightmare somewhere in his castle. It's there to spread awareness to one of Popstar's earliest threats, and it's also there for the waddle dees in the castle to make fun of. Magolor encountered the photo when he came by Dedede's castle one time.
-"Gray Coo" was the result of Magolor trying to create a fake love interest for Coo to go along with Rick's and Kine's love interests. Magolor was originally going to call it "Poo" until the waddle dee staffers for the park turned that down and instead suggested it to be named "Gray Coo" or else they wouldn't put it up, which Magolor reluctantly agreed. Coo felt embarrassed and awkward when he saw the mask and was told about its purpose, while the rest of the animal friends laughed their butts off as they think that the mask is hilarious.
-How did Magolor find out about Dark Matter to make masks for Dark Matter Swordsman and Zero? Dedede and the animal friends told him about it. When Magolor first met Gooey and learned his origins, he was fascinated to learn more about Dark Matter, so those guys told him more. Dedede has a photo of DMS in the castle, while saying that Zero was super easy to remember the appearance of.
-My headcanon universe disregards a lot of True Arena content from many games, so this means that the Marx Soul stuff does not exist in my headcanons. I interpret that the Marx Soul mask came 100% out of Magolor's own twisted mind. His own invention. He thought of making an alt mask for his buddy Marx and decided to make a more menacing version of him. Marx was ecstatic when he saw the mask.
-Magolor didn't physically encounter a clockwork star himself, but Marx and Susie were able to walk him through about what they look like, allowing him to piece together the appearance of Nova to make a mask for it.
-The alternate Ribbon mask (friend's hairstyle) was a recent hairstyle that Adeleine gave Ribbon. Magolor was interested in giving Ribbon a second mask, and so she and Adeleine told him about the alternate hairstyle to make a mask for.
-The alternate DMK design (dark mirror) was not actually something that Magolor learned about, but made on his own. He didn't plan to make a secondary DMK mask (because they're not friends) until he noticed all the other star allies had secondary masks, so he figured he'd do the same for DMK, albeit just a lazy color hue change. He sometimes look at both DMK masks to laugh at their edginess.
-How did Magolor find out about Drawcia? Drawcia is known amongst Vividria individuals across Popstar. A Vividria slipped out information about Drawcia and depicted her in a painting to show to Magolor, giving him the opportunity to make a mask of her.
-Dark Daroach and Dark Nebula were things that Daroach told Magolor about. When Daroach first came to Magoland to see the masks, he thought it was both hilarious and ironic for the masks to exist. He pointed out that he didn't see a mask depicting Magolor being possessed by a cursed artifact (there's the master crown mask, but that's the phase where he hadn't been possessed yet).
-How did Magolor know about Galacta Knight? Hyness told him.
-Magolor was trying to fill up some slots with alt color swaps, explaining the "EX" masks for Whispy Woods, Mr. Dooter, Fatty Puffer, Goriath, Grand Doomer, Metal General, Landia and Traitor Magolor.
-How in the heck did Magolor find out about Sectonia, and not just that, but her original Joronia form as well? Taranza has photos and paintings of her all over the Royal Road castle. That's how Magolor found out. He decided to make the masks to honor the memory of Joronia/Sectonia and he'd figure Taranza would be grateful to the masks. Uhhh.... he eventually did, but initially he had an outrage because Magolor did it without permission. It's fine now, though.
-Magolor saw the Robobot Armor turned pink one time. It was during one time when he and Kirby simultaneously visited Susie in her home planet that contains the HWC headquarters. Magolor wanted to see Kirby ride around in Invader Armors, so Susie let that happen for him to see. That's how he knew to make a Robobot Armor mask.
-Susie's weekend outfit is, indeed, an outfit that she likes to wear on the weekends. Magolor was physically seen her wearing it, giving him the idea to make a mask for it.
-Susie has photos of her dad in the company's headquarters. Magolor briefly had a weird fixation on Haltmann by virtue of being a fellow egg-shaped money liker, just like he is. This made it a no brainer that he was going to make a Haltmann mask for the park.
Susie was initially not happy to see the weekend outfit and Haltmann masks because Magolor made them both without permission. She was getting close to threatening to sue him until he apologized and said he did it for honorable and celebrative purposes. Eventually, Susie relented and became perfectly fine with the masks existing, but she really wishes that Magolor had asked for permission first.
-Morpho Knight is very elusive in my headcanons, so how did Magolor find out about him? He found out through Elfilin and Leon. They remembered what he looks like and were glad to tell Magolor when he expressed wanting to know.
-I'll make it clear that while I headcanon the games mostly happening by order, Merry Magoland opens after Forgotten Land's events for me. This explains how Magolor knew about New World inhabitants such as Elfilin, awoofies, Carol and Leon to make masks of them. He also watched Kirby perform his mouthful mode stuff when he visited the New World, giving him the chance to make a mask of that too.
-Wait... Forgo Dedede is among the New World masks. How did Magolor find out about that when Dedede is back to normal now? Elfilin told him about the incident. He vividly remembers what Dedede looked like when Fecto Forgo further possessed him.
-----
Ok... that's all of the more questionable masks covered in my headcanons! Thanks for reading if you made it through all of this.

⭐ Memories of friendship ⭐
(ID: Kirby series fanart of young Dedede, Meta, Para Dee, and Bow Dee hanging out and interacting in various cute and silly scenarios. More detailed descriptions and bonus headcanons under the cut. END ID.)
Just a buncha li’l guys. The littlest of lads. I could literally fill pages with all the wholesome slice-of-life nonsense I have in mind for these kids (and maybe the smallest touch of angst, too, but that’s for later). Also might’ve made DDD’s overalls a little brighter to match his coat in the future. Also made refs for Para and Bow.
Sketches started btw 11/23 and 12/23, render started 12/13/23, finished 01/07/24, updated 03/11/24, updated for color correction 11/02/24. NOTE: This was originally posted on my deleted account on 01/08/23. | Childhood Friends AU Masterpost
Image descriptions
Top-left: Meta carrying DDD by his hands and lifting him (with great difficultly) into the air (probably only a few inches off the ground), the latter laughing happily and kicking his feet, the former grimacing with effort and flapping his little wing as hard as he can.
(HC: Even at a young age, Meta is built more for dexterity than strength, and DDD isn’t exactly as light as the rest of his buddies - not that it stops either of them from doing something dumb in the name of a dare.)
Top-middle: Meta and Para holding open a large book between them (the image of Planet Popstar on the cover), reading and discussing its contents (as indicated by a wall of blue and green “Blah”s behind them), while Bow (slumped on Meta’s side) and Dedede (reclining back on Para’s side) are both fast asleep from boredom.
(HC: Needless to say, Meta and Para are huge nerds, often seen checking out half a dozen books at at time from the local library and finishing them before the week is out. Bow and DDD try to be interested, but they just don’t have the attention spans for huge walls of tech jargon and dusty old history.)
Top-right: Para floating with his parasol (patterned the same green-and-brown plaid as his bowtie), sweating and kicking his feet wildly, looking down in terror; Meta hovers nearby on his wings, looking on in surprise at his panicking friend.
(HC: Despite his proficiency, Para rarely uses his parasol for anything besides keeping himself dry in the rain. He is deathly afraid of heights and has gotten himself stuck in trees more than once thanks to his buddies’ daredevil antics.)
Middle-right: Bow - angered by something off-screen - furiously kicking and flailing about, her face red with rage, as DDD casually holds her up off the ground by the top of her head, looking annoyed and bored.
(HC: It doesn’t take a lot to set Bow off. Despite her tiny size, she can be an absolute terror when she’s upset about something, and the boys know this well. DDD is often the one to hold her back when she gets too rowdy, a role he’s not particularly thrilled to have. Stars help anyone in her line of sight if no one’s around to calm her down.)
Middle: Meta and DDD sitting side-by-side, the former in a rare excitable mood as he fidgets and chatters on about all kinds of things (indicated by several word bubbles with images inside, including ice cream, swords, bats, planets, stars, rockets, and Galacta Knight’s mask); DDD listens with surprising patience, a fond (if somewhat exasperated) smile on his face.
(HC: Meta is usually a very quiet kid, his silence filled by DDD being his typical boisterous self. Sometimes, though, when they’re just hanging out by themselves, Meta will find an opening - usually provided by DDD - and go off on tangents as random and hyper-focused as his more talkative buds. Not many people get to see him this animated or comfortable, and DDD - who’s seen them the most - cherishes these moments, even if it’s embarrassing to admit.)
Bottom-left: DDD dashing to our left, a determined grin on his face, as his friends ride Piggyback on his back - first Meta, wings out and free arm waving in excitement, then Para, clinging desperately to Meta with a look of panic on his face, and finally Bow, hanging off of Para and laughing merrily.
• (HC: DDD is always dragging his friends into one crazy scheme or another, usually at a full-tilt sprint and without much forethought beyond “C’mon, it’ll be fun!” Meta is often swept up in the excitement, too curious and eager to learn to worry much about danger. Para is the embodiment of “I don’t know about this, guys…” but too lenient to really stop them. Bow will literally follow the boys off of a cliff as long as there’s fun to be had.)
Bottom-right: Bow, DDD, and Meta sitting in the grass surrounded by butterflies (their bodies black and wings white with dark edges, save one in the back with yellow wings rimmed in orange and red). One lands on DDD’s beak, and he pokes at it curiously, staring cross-eyed. Bow trembles behind him, staring at the butterfly in watery-eyed terror over his shoulder. Meta tilts his head to look at her with an expression of bemused concern, a butterfly settled on his foot.
(HC: Bow will tell you she isn’t afraid of anything. In many cases, this is true. She will routinely stare down threats ten times her size and promise to beat them up on the spot before someone more rational pulls her out of harm’s way. But, if there is a bug anywhere in her immediate vicinity, she will absolutely run for the hills. DDD used to tease her about this, hiding bugs in his hands to scare her. He stopped as soon as she started panic-smacking him.)

A new ref for my most neglected OC, Pitchion. I did change the color of the eyes to be brighter and visible underneath the mask, other than that he is the same as before in terms of design. The backstory I had to revisit since I changed some things about my AU to make OCs less connected to canon characters.
Pitchion was born a negatively charged Dark Matterborn during the golden age of Halcandra under the care of a Halcandran battlemage and weapon enchanter named Melem who intended to bind his consciousness to the Master Sword to keep its power save from those who would seek to misuse its power. Finding herself unable to harm him after bonding with him, she bound ger own mind ri the sword instead. In the process Pitchion attempted to stop her using the dark matter possession ability, which caused nearby guards to believe that he had attacked her, resulting in his premature death. Upon realising what had happened the King of Halcandra (Necrodeus) revived Pitchion as a positively charged Darksoul Matterborn. He was then given into the care of Xandos, Melem's brother.
Around the time the Matterborn genocide began, Xandos took Pitchion and fled Halcandra. Not long afterwards Xandos' soul corrupted causing a forceful separation of the two, leaving Pitchion alone in a world that was hostile towards him. As an adult he became a revolutionary warrior who planned to destroy the ancients leading an army of likeminded individuals and Dark Matter alongside a newly freed Galacta Knight. Near the end of the battle Pitchion was defeated and banished by Fecto Elfilis. As a partial soul matterborn he was unable to die, yet suffered severe injuries upon being sent to another dimension full of violent cosmic storms.
His wounds left him with permanent scars all over his body, including damage in his wings that made flying much more difficult for him. It took him many years to recover from this. During this time he earned himself the title "Blood Knight" due to his blood red coloration and constant bleeding. Since then sightings of him became far less frequent and he was believed dead by many.

Note
Do you have any more Lizzie headcanons?
If so, hand them over
They are insanely squishy
And insanely fluffy
Galacta used to call them Elfi. Now that he's dead they don't let anyone use it, neither for them nor Elfilin
They're not exactly scared of water, in fact they like it a lot. But if you were to submerge them they wouldn't come out mentally sound
Unlike common hc, they're pretty cheerful because they have nothing to care about in life
Their nails are painted, the natural color would be white
They also have golden blood
They can mess with your brain big time! But before doing that they need to have a basic understanding of how the beings' brains work, and by then humans had already found a way to resist them :(
When they were a baby they were so small they could fit in your hand
They love to sing and write music, but since they used to travel the universe on their own they did nothing with these songs besides occasionally humming them. Most of the KatFL songs are theirs lol
Also also! They have more control over their memories than we have! If they forget something its because they choose to by actively avoiding these memories.
The problem arises when they... cannot exactly avoid the memories. Like with Discovera

Incarnations AU - On the Subject of Meta Knight and Kirby's Relationship
Posting some of the chapters from my one shot collection here as well. In this installment, how Meta Knight and Kirby met! It... could've gone better, but it also could've gone a lot worse.
Characters: Kirby and Meta Knight (primarily), the Meta-Knights and King Dedede (appear but not prominent), Nightmare (only alluded to)
TW for this chapter: Implied/Referenced abuse, attempted murder of an infant (No one gets hurt tho!)
Word Count: 3,200
Enjoy!
When the Incarnation first appeared on Popstar, Meta Knight knew immediately. The surge of energy made his wings tremble, even when concealed. It was a little unnerving, both to his crew and Dedede. He was always quiet, but still engaged in their conversations as Dedede proudly showed off his new apprentice.
It was such a normal day, if not one plagued by stormy weather. One moment, he was laughing at Lance Knight’s impression of the King, the next he was stiff as a board, hauntingly silent, his nicked ear twitching nervously. He moved almost mechanically around the castle and courtyard, ignoring his companion’s call for explanation.
The Chest had remained sealed and closed. The Star Rod stood firmly in its hilt atop the Dream Fountain. Nothing in the castle was out of place. So, at the very least, he wouldn’t have to deal with Dark Nebula or… the other one for the time being.
So, it was a different Incarnation then. Had Dark Matter finally tracked down its missing Scout and ally? Had Morpho Knight decided it was time for his Judgment? Or was this an all new hell Void had retched up?
He took off wordlessly, making note to apologize to the King and his crew later, after this was dealt with.
When the Incarnation was found, naked and resting on a rock outside of the city, Meta Knight was instantly suspicious. It didn’t matter that it looked eerily like him. Or that it looked like a pudgy infant of all things. Or that it was light years away from Void with no obvious method of getting here.
It didn’t matter, because an Incarnation is never to be trusted.
Good Incarnations could technically exist, that was true. Meta Knight at least liked to think of himself as a decent example. But that wasn’t something he was willing to gamble Popstar over.
Not when every other Incarnation he’s heard about or encountered has been destructive at best. Galactic, if not Universal, threats at worst.
He’d seen firsthand the decay Dark Matter brought with its presence. He felt firsthand the cruelty and sadism Nightmare revealed in. And he had heard of the unstoppable force of destruction Galacta Knight once shattered planets with.
Indeed, Incarnations were more often than not bad news, and it was for the best of everyone he got rid of this one while it was still weak and freshly formed.
Why would an Incarnation of Void take this form, that of an infant, he didn’t understand. Why it formed so far away from Void itself, he also didn’t understand. He knew it formed here, the energy was much too bright and strong to be any older than a few moments.
He had thought he and Dedede kept the people happy enough. Aside from himself, the only energy of Void around strong enough to react to emotions was securely locked away. Popstar was much too far away from Void itself for the deity to have anything to do with this directly. He was so sure that everything and everyone was safe.
So where did he go wrong?
And why an infant?
He examined it as closely as he dared. Why did so many Incarnations take this form? The shape of the ears, the distinctly colored cheeks, the shape of the eyes… Indeed, it just looked like a much younger, much pinker version of him. From the depictions he’s seen of Galacta and Morpho knight, this seems to be a popular shape, with some room for variations. Granted, those variations took the form of horns or different wing shapes, and not age, but… An infant wasn’t the… strangest for an Incarnation could’ve taken, he supposed.
The eldritch awe and elasticity of Dark Matter and Nightmare taught him the hard way that Incanations could look much… much worse.
Strange form or not, however, Incarnations were meant to be embodiments. Forces of sentient nature. Unstoppable forces in their respective domains. Despair, Destruction, Conquest, Triumph, things that were inevitable wherever there was sentient life.
And yet, here was an Incarnation, not able to even walk, much less talk, save for the little babbling sounds of “Poyo” it occasionally sputtered. Was it because they were too far away from Void? Or was this some kind of act, a shell hiding something else?
Morpho Knight traveled in the form of an equally harmless butterfly, if his research was to be believed. Dark Matter could possess and hide as anything or anyone. Nightmare was charming and charismatic before Meta Knight learned his true nature.
Now that he was thinking about it, he and Galacta were the only Incarnations he knew of that were honest in their appearance. So, a trick it must be, then.
He wondered if The Master Sword would be enough to take care of this one, or if he’d have to trap it in yet another Ancient artifact. Maybe he could finally put the Love Love Stick to good use.
Meta Knight carried the chi- Incarnation away, away from where it could do any damage in whatever battle it would start the second it dropped the cute act. It laughed as he carried it into the air, reaching for the ground far below them.
Why was it continuing the act? This wasn’t really what an Incarnation of Void looked like, was it? This… this “child” had baby fat clinging to pudgy cheeks, uncoordinated fingers, not even the smallest hint of wings. Anyone not familiar with Incarnations would’ve been taken in by the cute face and fluffy pink hair.
But Meta Knight knew better. He could feel the power akin to a god with every pulse. He would not be fooled by another Incarnation, not when he could still hear Nightmare’s sickly sweet words ringing in his ears. Not when his wings still ached at night, and his laugh plagued his dreams.
He landed in the woods, far enough away to not disturb poor old Wispy. No one knew an Incarnation had appeared yet, and no one needed to know. He didn’t need to bother Dedede with this, he would explain the rude behavior and disappearance after it was disposed of.
He set the Incarnation down, on a stump, taking a few steps back. The little creature still insisted on babbling at him, reaching for him. Did it not realize its own defeat yet and still think it could pull its trick if it acted cute enough? “You don’t need to pretend anymore. Reveal your true self, and face your fate with dignity.”
Meta Knight was many things, but dishonorable wasn’t one of them. He would give the Incarnation at least one chance to stand and fight back. Even evil deserved to die with dignity. Not… whatever this facade was.
But the Incarnation didn’t move. It didn’t change or speak or even sit up. It just stared at Meta Knight with bright blue eyes and kept giggling.
“Are you mocking me, Incarnation? I am giving you a chance at some self respect. Rise and fight.”
“Poyo?”
Meta Knight groaned. Okay, he supposed it didn’t want or care about dignity. Or, maybe it needed a catalyst to transform. He wasn’t going to be the one to find out. If it insisted on him striking it down in this form, so be it.
He took a few practice swings of the Master Sword, not taking his eyes off of the little pink creature. “Last chance, Incarnation. Show your true self, and face me.”
“Poyo!” It clapped its little hands together.
“Suit yourself.”
Distantly, Meta Knight felt rain drip onto his mask. The Incarnation had finally taken its eyes off of him, opting to look up at the sky, giggling brightly when a fat droplet fell square onto its nose.
He raised the blade up over his head. The rain tapped his mask, ringing in his ears. He could feel the power radiating off of the creature before him, a strange warmth pressing into his chest as it laughed. The water gleamed off The Master Sword, still standing mighty above him.
He waited a second. And then another. And then five more. More warmth seeped into his bones, compelling him to relax.
He let out a frustrated groan, lowering the blade. He stomped over to the Incarnation, leering down at it.
“Why won’t you fight? Why are you just letting this happen? You’re not fooling me, I know this helpless act is just that. Why are you so determined to keep up the charade past its use? What are you an Incarnation of? Cowardice?”
The Incarnation barely seemed to hear him, instead trying to catch the falling rain drops in its fat, useless hands.
“Answer me!”
As he yelled, a flash of lightning jumped between clouds, rattling the sky with thunder.
It was that moment that the Incarnation did anything but smile and laugh. Its face froze, its babbling abruptly halting.
For a second, Meta Knight thought this might be it, that the true form would reveal itself.
Instead, he was met with the most heartbreaking sobs he’s ever heard in his life.
The Incarnation, the infant, burst into tears, covering its face with its tiny hands. Forgotten, it seemed, was the wonder of the rain drops. The warmth Meta Knight felt was sucked out of his bones, replaced by a trembling, awful cold, as the Incarnation’s power retreated as far back as it could into its vessel.
Meta moved faster than he remembered being able to, scooping the sobbing infant up in one wing, shielding the both of them with the other.
“D-Don’t cry, I’m sorry I yelled, it’s okay, I’m sorry…”
A distant part of him wondered if this was its plan all along, in an effort to gain his sympathy. But the part of him that ached with Triumph, the part of him that was a positive Incarnation screamed at him to cradle it… cradle them.
The infant hiccuped as they nuzzled close to Meta’s chest. How that could be comfortable, with his hard, cold breastplate in the way, was questionable at best, but he didn’t exactly have the time or space to doff his armor right then.
Another bolt of lightning sent the infant into another stream of tears.
“I-It’s okay, you’re okay… it’s just thunder, nothing that can hurt you Please stop crying…”
Meta sighed, looking around the two of them. There was nothing around that could really keep a child warm, except maybe his cape. But that cape is heavy and itchy for anyone not used to it. Not to mention he’d lose his wings if he took it off.
“Okay, okay, okay… Okay, I-I’ll take you back to the palace. It’ll be warmer and dryer there, and the King can decide what to do with you. Please, stop crying now, please…”
He wiped away some of the tears with his thumb. He adjusted to let the child rest in his arms, letting his wings carry the both of them.
At least they finally stopped crying… Although, they weren’t smiling again yet. Why that distressed Meta so much he wasn’t entirely sure. He was prepared to kill this thing just a few minutes ago… Why did seeing them cry trigger such a response in him?
He suspected it had something to do with the warmth. An extension of the Incarnation’s power he guessed. What a strange thing, how soothing it felt seeping into his chest, and how wretched it felt being sucked out of him.
Regardless, he hoped he wasn’t making a massive mistake.
*************
Meta decided he had made a massive mistake.
King Dedede didn’t really know what to make of the Incarnation. “A lot nicer than the ones we’ve been getting, that’s for sure,” he said. The child playfully batted at the King’s gloved hands and giggled, now wrapped in a soft towel. “Cuter too.”
“Yes, I suppose that’s true… But, sire, we don’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to entities like this.”
“I dunno, Meta. They remind me of you, when you first showed up here.”
“Sire, I was not this… pathetic.”
“You were, just in your own weird way. You acted like if anyone touched you, you’d go rabid. It was just… well, as you put it, pathetic to watch.”
Meta huffed at the memory. That was so long ago… before he had his mask, or the Master Sword, or his crew or ship or anything. When he felt his own smallness in this strange Universe they lived in.
That small feeling felt so far away now.
It was decided that Meta would watch them. Observe was the word that was used. Observe how this Incarnation behaves and strike it down if it turns out their true colors were ugly ones.
It didn’t particularly matter how firmly and loudly Meta protested. It didn’t matter that he brought up excellent points in that he had no idea how to care for an infant, the Halberd was possibly the least safe place for said infant, and that his crew could be vulnerable if the child turned out to be evil incarnate.
No, all that was overshadowed when Dedede presented two facts: Meta Knight was the closest thing on the planet that could potentially understand the growth and changes the infant would go through, and Meta had not let go of the child since he brought them to the castle.
He got particularly huffy when the King decided to be childish and added “Finders keepers” to the end of his argument.
Meta had no crib. Or food appropriate for an infant. Or clothes or a blanket or anything that one would need to be at all qualified for this. He had no idea how or where he would get these things on such short notice.
He fretted over it every moment he was waiting for the Halberd to dock. He was woefully ill equipped for this. What would his crew think? He’s putting their lives at risk bringing something this potentially dangerous on board. He wouldn’t blame them for abandoning ship, this wasn’t anything they signed up for.
He was lucky his crew were the loyal, if snarky, bastards they were.
He barely got a few words of an explanation to them before they all scrambled into action mode. For a second, Meta dreaded that this would be it, and they were abandoning ship. But instead, he suddenly found himself getting handed items and ushered into the ship’s lounge/
Captain Vul had quickly found some spare supplies to put together a warm meal for the little thing. Javelin Knight had found the softest blankets one could reasonably find on a battleship. Mace Knight was already at work stitching something together with spare cloth they could find. Trident Knight had informed, not requested, that he was going into town the next day and spending his salary on toys and supplies. And Axe Knight was set to empty out an old storeroom close to Meta’s quarters as a potential nursery.
They all moved so fast, as methodical and orderly as Meta had trained them. He would be proud, if he had any more energy left in him.
He wrapped the little thing up in the blankets, trying his best to make sure they ate, and pointedly ignoring the hushed whispers of the crew around him as they climbed over each other to take a look.
“What a stomach that thing has,” Vul observed.
“Almost opposite of you, Meta sir,” Sailor Dee added.
“Can we name it Fluffy?” Axe Knight pleaded.
“What? Don’t be ridiculous. Its name is obviously Pinky,” Mace Knight countered.
“You two are both idiots,” Trident Knight sighed. Lance Knight hummed in agreement.
Meta sighed at all of them, finally acknowledging their presence crowding around his back and shoulders. His wings made quick work of them.
“All of you are dismissed for the evening. I thank you for your help in this… sudden change in routine.”
“Of course, anything for you sir!” They all saluted him. Meta hoped they could feel the proud smile he gave them through the mask.
“While I agree with Trident and Lance that these two are idiots,” Vul patted Axe’s and Mace’s helmets, over the indignant protest of the two knights in question, “They do bring up a good point. We can just keep calling it The Incarnation, can we?”
“No, I suppose we can't,” Meta hummed. He really hoped this one would turn out okay… he really didn’t look forward to fighting something he named.
“I think I’ll call you… Meta.”
Meta Knight shivered at the familiar voice, shaking his head.
“I’ll have to ponder that… can’t rush in and name him something silly now, can we?”
“Quite right, sir,” Sailor Dee nodded.
“Now, I’m very tired, and you all are annoying. I’m going to retire to my quarters, and I’ll be keeping this one with me, at least for tonight. Enjoy the rest of your evening, gentlemen.”
As Meta stood to make his exit, Vul decidedly blocked his path. “Hold it. Don’t think I didn’t notice you neglected to eat today. I will be sending Lance to your quarters with dinner. I expect to find it eaten by tomorrow morning. Understood?”
Meta rolled his eyes at Vul, glaring non seriously.
“Since when do you give me orders, Captain?”
“Since I found you passed out at the helm with no food or water in your stomach for gods knows how long.”
Meta sighed, but nodded in affirmation. “I appreciate your concern and care, Captain. But, I will be retiring now. Goodnight everyone.”
The child had fast fallen asleep in his arms by the time he made his way to his private quarters. He had to admit, they were cute. Soft pink skin, bright cheeks, and a fluffy mess of dusty rosewood hair. He set them down on his bed as softly as possible to doff his armor. It felt good to stretch his wings without forcing them to carry heavy metal. He set the Master Sword in its proper place on the wall, slipping into something far more casual than most of Popstar would ever see.
He cradled the child in his wing, examining their soft features. There was a wretched anxiety clinging to his being as he watched their little chest rise and fall.
“...Void… if you’re listening… please let this one be good… Don’t make me have to put this one down…”
If this Incarnation was well and truly an infant… At least that meant their mind was open. Malleable. If Meta had any say in the matter, he’d try his best to instill in the child the values they’d need to be a hero.
Loyalty. Determination. Passion. All would be needed, if not to be a hero, then at least the best person they can be.
And as he thought, thinking of the potential triumph of good the child could bring, Meta recalled a name. A name he’d encountered on his travels around the cosmos before arriving on Popstar. A hero of old, long since gone from this world, but one of great renown nonetheless. Saved an entire planet from some unknown threat. The child needed a name. What better one than one of a hero?
“Kirby… I name you Kirby.”

My Kirby Lore: Kirby’s species
There’s a reason why we call Kirby a child of the stars…
Birth of Astrals: I thought of a name for their species and between Astral and Stellar I chose Astral. Basically you know how Kirby and basically all matter is made of Void, that’ll come later. Kirby’s species are called astrals because they are an astral birth, kinda like stars, their starborn organisms because they go through the same birth process as an actual star. (Now I’m going to mention scientific stuff) So a star is born in a nebula, nebulae are caused by the death of a star, so a star’s death provokes a star’s birth. Nebulae are basically star nurseries (the names so cute🥹 sorry huge astronomy nerd alert). They are star nebulae and Void nebulae, a void nebulae happens when Void before fully developing collapses, gets destroyed or basically explodes that creates nebulae (like a basic star) and in those nebulae are born baby voids. Now time for its development: At first a baby void is a small dense ball of light (like a white dwarf star), it stays in the nebula until it’s an infant and sets off to explore the mysterious areas of the universe, during its little “adventure” it feeds of the energy of things around it like helium from stars or gas from nebulae to keep itself alive. The environment around them influences their faith during their growth, if you know a lot about  Kirby Lore you know what happens depending on the energy Void is surrounded by and how it will affect it. Positive influence and energy= Astral or any other good species depending on the environment . Negative energy and influence= Dark Matter. During its adolescence that’s when they start to transform and “mutate”, that’s basically the birth of a lot of species including astrals.
Astral’s growth: Astrals grow pretty slow compared to various species in the ENTIRE universe! I dropped an illustration of the growth but I’ll explain it cause there’s much more to it. As babies, astrals are small, round with stubby hands and feet, they have different eye colors but as they grow up the eye remains only one color and can glow in the dark, depending on the type of astral you are, it develops horns and wings. There are two types of astrals: Angel-like astrals and bat-like astrals. Angel-like astrals are like Galacta Knight, horns, feathery wings and  paw-like hands with no claws. Bat-like astrals have no horns, bat wings, sharp teeth and paw hands with claws, however this is a bit contradictory because my Galacta design has sharp claws and teeth, soooo he’s technically a mixed species. They are also insect-like astrals that have insect wings and antennas but that’s only when a Morpho and Astral fuse.
Tumblr media
Childhood to Adulthood: Astrals usually have a parent or guardian to take care of them, when an astral becomes infant it gets a phone and a WarpStar, the phone is connected to the WarpStar and its friends and family, the WarpStar is sentient so it can save its owner without even being summoned. When astrals become teenagers they get rid of the WarpStar because they don’t need it and have to practice flying with their wings. Throughout their childhood and adulthood they have the copy ability mechanism but as they grow they only get to choose one and an element. Now nowwww, when adult astrals mostly become knights to fight for their planet of the universe something like that, their purpose as a living organism is to protect the universe from any eldritch atrocities trying to f#ck up space. They are all given a weapon (usually swords) but it can be an ax, spear, gun you name it, when the weapon is received they have to make a connection with it to use it properly because the weapons are sentient and can communicate with its wielder via telepathy, once its made a connection with the weapon, they get one element depending on their personality. For example Meta knight has light because despite his mysterious and cold demeanor his soul is full of hope and wisdom. Dark Meta has lighting because he’s a very quick and agile dude, I’d say he has a stormy personality. Galacta I’ve no idea, he’s basically got everything. Kirby has a sword called Estella and she gave him all the elements because she didn’t know what to choose for him, he had a little bit of everything.
Conclusion: I have no more to say about this but yeah, I’ve transcribed what I remember because I was thinking about this whole thing 2 nights ago. Anyways if you read this beginning to end thank you very much! 😊

✭ ✭ one for the two of them if that’s allowed
((Guessing you mean one headcanon that applies to both Lor and Magolor? If not you can just send this ask again specifying two distinct headcanons, or just two asks. Anyways… I suppose this is as good a time as any to explain how Clash fits into things, eh? This will contain spoilers for Magolor Epilogue, so if you’ve still not played it and have managed to avoid them thus far I suggest not reading beyond this point. For those still here, strap in, this is gonna be a long one!))
((So, for those who haven’t read the fic I’ve been writing that explores the earliest days of Magolor and Lor knowing each other, I’ll just establish right out of the gate that Magolor simultaneously did and didn’t survive his fight with the Tree Crown. He defeated it and all, but his injuries combined with the physical and magical exertion took its toll on him. However, the latent magic where he was, combined with his desire to go to some semblance of a normal home and Another Dimension Weirdness™️, essentially coalesced into that portal to the Dream Kingdom, which itself drew heavily from what Magolor knew of certain historical figures and events, altered by his own experiences. Or, in other words, spurred on by that wish of his and the magic at play, part of the Dream Realm fragmented into that version of the Dream Kingdom due to Another Dimension being unstable as hell and technically not being a place. Hard to die normally when you aren’t anywhere.
Because he ultimately “died” while going through that portal, the world essentially ended up with two separate Magolors. There was Magolor as he thought he might be in his dreams, now living in the Dream Kingdom as a respected and successful seller of various magic items and armor and weapons and the like, who also didn’t truly have to face the consequences of his actions because they magically went away. Then there was the “original” Magolor, still in Another Dimension, who just died and ended up in a limbo of sorts due to the reasons stated above. Given the circumstances of his death and the fact that he wasn’t really “supposed” to die to begin with, Morpho Knight(in butterfly form) ultimately brought him back(on the brink of death still but not Dead dead) to the last home-adjacent place he’d been… Which just so happened to be Lor’s main room.
That brings me to how she ties in with this. Remember how the “real” Dream Kingdom essentially came about as a result of Magolor’s thoughts, feelings, and memories? The concept didn’t just disappear from his mind entirely, and in fact the idea of making a vaguely accurate(if not somewhat anachronistic) retelling of some history/folklore was something he couldn’t help but want to do. Lor, being incredibly advanced and also bigger on the inside than on the outside, can do a lot of cool things, be it having an entire bamboo forest folks can do target practice in, a large firing range that has its own sky and stretches back miles, entire obstacle courses for various skill sets, etc. She also liked the idea, and had information to work with regarding what certain figures were like, essentially allowing her to fill in the blanks between Magolor’s broader ideas while he could focus on details like items and good ol’ “what part can someone I know play in this?”. Thus, Clash ALSO exists as an interactive simulation Lor can run that is effectively a playable reenactment of historical events with a few extra things mixed in.
Of course, because things weren’t confusing enough, neither of these “versions” of Clash are “canon” in the sense that one is an alternate microuniverse and the other is a simulation in a timeline where the original events already occurred. So, y’know, there was no gem apple tree, no Shoppe, Landia hadn’t been around back then, Doctor Healmore and the other heroes weren’t just identical twins save for their colors, Taranza and the Animal Friends and Meta Knight wouldn’t have been there, etc. Galacta Knight, being the Aeon Hero, would’ve been one of the “playable” heroes(he was the Sword Hero of yore), but that obviously wouldn’t have worked for a simulation intended to be like a game. It was actually Lor’s idea to essentially include the depiction of Galacta in the period between snapping and becoming the strongest warrior in the galaxy. It’s by far the biggest creative liberty that was taken, given the fact that Galacta really went off the deep end after the other events of Clash took place. It essentially gave an idea of what he might be like(she didn’t know about Meta Knight’s wish/encounter) while also not omitting the fact that he wasn’t always the dangerous figure he turned himself into.
As for why totally-not-Magolor was included but not some version of herself? One, some anachronisms are too big and blatant to do anything other than break immersion. Two, there’s a point where including familiar faces(or in this case figures without a face) in a historical recreation goes from being a fun little nod to being excessive. Three, accurately simulating herself would have been extremely difficult because she knows she isn’t the type to say “>No you can’t come in go away”, and that would’ve meant needing to recreate her own interior and amenities and the like for accuracy’s sake. If you’re gonna simulate yourself you gotta do it right or else what’s the point?))

(Feels kinda weird asking while the polls are up but I can't get it out of my head now- /pos)
Back again with another question about the fic-
What other headcanons do you have (that hopefully won't spoil the prequel)?
👀 /hj /pos
Headcanons under the cut since it's a little long :3 /gen /pos
Color-coded for convenience! Galacta appears in red, Meta appears in purple, Morpho appears in orange, and Kirby appears in pink! Anything with "[redacted]" means that going further about it would possibly result in a spoiler for the prequel >.< /gen /pos
Galacta was conscious enough to remember things from when he was sealed, his mind just kinda blocked those memories (which explains why he was tensed up when he heard Meta's voice in The Fic)
After Meta's Mentor left, he was captured by [redacted] and forced to work for him for [redacted] years. He escapes a year before he gets his wings. This escape destroys his Warp Star in the process.
During Meta's time with [redacted], they kinda scrambled his brain a little, so he has very few memories of before he was captured.
Galacta Knight likes [redacted]. Right before he was sealed he [redacted] Morpho Knight. Morpho has been patiently waiting for Galacta to be freed so he could get his (playful) revenge.
Galacta gets a lot of his habits from Morpho.
Morpho doesn't have a favorite fruit, but he does have a sweet tooth. The sweet thing he loves most is honey!
Morpho's wings are always moving, even if he isn't flying. They kinda just slowly open and close when he's not flying. The only time they aren't moving is when he's surprised.
When baby Astrals form, they will sleep until an Astral old enough to be a Mentor intentionally links with them, or (in Astrals like Kirby's case) they form/land on a planet containing very few Astrals. In this case, they'll wake up, and the baby Astral will imprint on the first old-enough Astral they see, unconsciously linking the two together.
Morpho, Galacta, Meta, and Kirby are an exception to this rule, however. This is because [redacted].
When an Astral officially becomes old enough to be a Mentor, the link between their Mentor and themselves dissolves. For cases like Meta Knight, the link will dissolve 2 years after the Mentor leaves unless the Mentor destroys it intentionally, or something happens to the Mentor.
Because Meta's Mentor left too early, Meta Knight does not know too many things about Astral culture. This means Kirby doesn't know much about Astral culture either, since Meta is his Mentor.
This isn't all of mod's headcanons but it's the ones (kinda) important to The Fic and its prequel :3 /gen /pos

Sadboi's Incredibly Strange Multifandom Adventure - Chapter 17: Dark Matter Returns
Sadboi decided that the next universe to visit would be the one of Kirby. Sadboi had always found the laid-back yet adventurous -- and sometimes horror-like -- tone of Dream Land very alluring, and it was also home to her favorite character: Meta Knight. Of course, her group was very familiar with the plushie of him that Sadboi would always carry around, but the thought of actually meeting him put butterflies in her stomach -- in a good way, of course.
The group stepped through the portal and emerged in a lush, colorful world filled with floating islands. The sky was a canvas of pastel colors, and the air smelled faintly of freshly baked cookies. The sight of Waddle Dees wandering around in peace brought a smile to everyone's faces.
Sadboi took a look around to place their current location in the universe. "This place looks like Bubbly Clouds," she murmured, her voice a tone of excitement and awe.
"Bubbly Clouds!" Sponge Bob squealed. "We're in for a treat! This place is like a giant spa for jellyfish!"
However, Sadboi felt her vibesense suddenly spike amidst the calm aura. She looked up to the sky and her tone became one of immediate concern. "Uh oh. Feels like Dark Matter."
The French Narrator's eyes grew wide. "Ah, the great nemesis of the stars," he said. "We must act swiftly, for its presence foretells chaos." Sadboi nodded, "Yesyes, and the embodiment of negative energy itself. Let's find Kirby and his friends, and quick!"
They split into pairs to cover more ground, with SpongeBob and Patrick sticking together, and Twilight and Sandy forming another team. Sonic and Tails took the lead, their speed allowing them to cut through the clouds with ease. Meanwhile, Sadboi and the French Narrator remained on the ground, using her vibesense to track the malevolent force.
Sadboi kept focused as she used her vibesense; from her understanding, Dark Matter and Kirby were two sides of the same coin -- one of sheer negative emotion, the other of sheer positive emotion. Her synthetic skin pulsed with a cobalt coloration as she focused, but she couldn't help but feel watched.
The French Narrator, seemingly unfazed by the looming threat, sauntered alongside her, monocle glinting in the ethereal light. "Ah, Sadboi," he began, "this place brings back memories of battles long ago. Yet, the vibe here is so… soothing."
Sadboi nodded, her focus remaining unbroken. "This place is very nostalgic to me, it holds so much significance. I vividly remember playing the games with my siblings whenever I could, a series of untainted memories before…well, y'know. My first Kirby game was Super Star Ultra on the Nintendo DS, and I vaguely remember fighting Galacta Knight for the first time. He's sort of…a mirror to Meta Knight, in a way. Being the final fight of most of the side modes where he's playable."
The French Narrator nodded, his expression understanding. "Indeed, the bonds we forge through our favorite stories can be profound. Now, let us find Kirby and his allies before the darkness consumes this land."
"Ah-huh." Sadboi agreed, "I have my bets that Kirby's already caught onto what's happening. Nothing goes on behind the pink puffball's eyes other than food, sleep, and his good nature." Sadboi glanced around, her eyeholes kept peeled for any sign of trouble.
The group's path took a sudden turn as a screeching sound pierced the serene ambiance. The clouds grew darker as a swarm of Waddle Dees, eyes red with corruption, descended upon them. "It's started," Sadboi whispered, her vibesense on high alert. The corrupted Waddle Dees looked more like twisted nightmares than the adorable creatures they were meant to be. "Surprising that Dark Matter managed to make Waddle Dees unsettling." Sadboi quipped.
The French Narrator, unflappable, pulled out a fancy laser pen from his pocket and began sketching a battle strategy in the air. "We must purify them," he said calmly. "Their hearts are not truly corrupted, but rather under the sway of Dark Matter's influence."
Sadboi nodded, she had seen similar abilities from Dark Matter in Crystal Shards. "Right, let's begin."
The battle was a whirlwind of color and sound. SpongeBob and Patrick took on the corrupted Waddle Dees with their signature brand of bumbling enthusiasm, accidentally knocking into each other more than their foes. Twilight and Sandy, on the other hand, moved with precision and grace, their teamwork honed from countless battles. Sonic and Tails streaked through the sky, leaving trails of light as they dodged and struck the floating foes. Sadboi, however, kept her focus during the battle, using her vibesense to track the source of the corruption. It was undoubtedly Dark Matter, but the thought of a Zero-Three made her heart race. But if there was now a seventh Element of Harmony and The French Narrator was now a Kamen Rider, then she supposed that anything was on the table.
As the fight continued, the clouds grew heavier with malicious energy. The ground trembled beneath them, and the once serene landscape of Bubbly Clouds was now a battlefield. Sadboi felt a powerful vibe, and her eyes went wide. "Guys! It's coming!" she shouted over the din.
Sadboi's eyeholes narrowed as she tried to make sense of the incoming enemy. She quickly made some deductions, such as the location. "It's Kracko, corrupted by Dark Matter."
The French Narrator's drawing grew more intense. "Ah, Kracko," he murmured, "a classic foe. But now, it seems, we must face a darker version of him."
The corrupted Kracko swooped down from the clouds, its eye glowing a malevolent red. The group readied themselves, their unity a stark contrast to the chaos around them. Sadboi raised her hand, a digital shield materializing in front of her. "I'll try to purify it!" she exclaimed.
The Kracko, now a twisted version of its former self, released a barrage of dark energy bolts. Sadboi's shield absorbed the first few, but the sheer power of the corruption was overwhelming. The French Narrator stepped in, transforming into Kamen Rider Dolphin. His eyes flashed with determination as he raised his trident. "We shall not let the light of this world be extinguished!" he declared.
With a flick of his wrist, he sent a bolt of blue lightning into the Kracko's eye, stunning it momentarily. The others took advantage of the opening, each attacking with their own unique abilities. Sponge Bob shot bubbles that captured the stunned Waddle Dees, trapping them safely. Twilight cast a spell that coated the Kracko in a glowing aura, weakening the hold of the darkness. Sandy swung her lasso, wrapping around Kracko's neck and pulling it towards the ground.
But the creature was too powerful, and the corruption was spreading rapidly. Sadboi knew they needed a more drastic measure. "Guys, I think I know what to do!" she called out, her eyes flashing with an idea. "The Element of Synthesis!"
Her friends paused in their attacks, looking at her with hope. Twilight nodded. "The Element of Synthesis is known for its purifying abilities. It might just be the key to free Kracko!"
Sadboi closed her eyes and focused, her past experiences with the element giving her the strength she needed. A soft, pulsing light began to emanate from her chest, growing stronger until it was a beacon in the chaos. The corrupted Kracko roared, feeling the power of the element invading its form.
The French Narrator took a step back, his eyes wide with wonder. "Sadboi," he whispered, "you've tapped into something incredible."
With a final burst of light, the Element of Synthesis surged through Kracko's body, the darkness recoiling before it. The creature convulsed, its corrupted form contorting as the light grew brighter and brighter. And then, with a deafening crack, the corruption was gone, leaving the original Kracko, now free from Dark Matter's grip, floating in the sky.
The once-twisted Waddle Dees dropped to the ground, their eyes returning to their normal color, looking dazed and confused. The Kracko looked around, seeming to realize the horror it had just caused. It let out a defeated squawk before flying away, no doubt seeking to recover from the ordeal.
The group watched as the skies cleared, the clouds parting to reveal the bright, pastel world of Dream Land once more. The French Narrator patted Sadboi on the back, his smile wide. "Magnificent! Your connection to the elements truly knows no bounds."
Sadboi couldn't help but feel a sense of pride swell in her chest. "Thanks," she murmured, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. "But we can't just stand around. We have to find Kirby and tell him what's happening."
As the group moved throughout Dream Land, from Green Greens to Grape Garden, Sadboi kept her eyeholes peeled for Kirby.
"You know, it's weird," she said to the French Narrator as they walked. "I've seen so much of the worlds I love in trouble, but none of them have felt quite as…personal as this." Her words continued to hold her concern, as she was aware of the kind of havoc Dark Matter could wreak.
The French Narrator nodded in understanding. "Each victory, each bond formed, makes our hearts grow stronger. It's natural to feel this way, especially when we're in a world that brings such joy to you."
As they ventured further into the heart of Dream Land, the vibrant colors grew more vivid, and the sounds of life grew louder. They encountered various inhabitants, each with tales of strange happenings since the dark vibes had started to spread. The group grew more urgent in their search for Kirby, knowing that time was of the essence.
But of course, it would only be a matter of time before the group bumped into the puffball. Sadboi's expression lit up when she saw Kirby.
"Kirby!" she exclaimed, waving her arms in the air. The little hero looked over, his eyes lighting up at the sight of them. He floated closer, his cheeks puffing up slightly as he studied them with curiosity.
Sadboi quickly explained her side of the situation to the pink puff, who nodded along with her every word. But of course, Sadboi noticed the absence of King Dedede, Bandana Waddle Dee, and, most importantly (to Sadboi), Meta Knight. She spoke up, not really expecting much of a verbal response other than a few poyos, "Hey, where are your buddies?" her voice held a hint of concern.
Kirby responded by inhaling deeply and then exhaling a series of bubbles, which formed into the images of his missing companions. The French Narrator, with his vast experience in interpreting various forms of communication, translated, "They have been captured by Dark Matter, along with many others. We must act swiftly to save them and purify this land."
The group nodded in unison, understanding the gravity of the situation.
"Then we've got to find Dark Matter's base!" Sonic exclaimed, his voice filled with urgency.
Sadboi shook her head a bit, "Problem is, Dark Matter isn't just some…earthly entity. They're a hive of embodiments of negative emotion. The Dark Matter collective has a leader, and I have a feeling that there has been an emergence of a Zero-Three. But with Kirby alongside us, I have no doubt in my mind that we have all the right tools to find this hypothetical Zero-Three and run them into the ground."
The group nodded, their determination unwavering. They set off in the direction indicated by Kirby's bubble communication, traversing through the ever-changing landscapes of Dream Land. The journey was not without its challenges; corrupted Whispy Woods and Kracko Jr.s were scattered throughout, but the team worked together seamlessly, each member's unique skills complementing the others'. Throughout the adventure, Sadboi kept her vibesense peeled.
As they approached the final stretch, the vibes grew stronger, a palpable sense of dread hanging in the air. The colors around them began to drain, and the once vibrant world grew dull. They had arrived at the corrupted heart of Dream Land.
Sadboi had her eyeholes peeled, and as she felt a familiar vibesense signature that caused her eyeholes to widen out of her concentration. Her heart began to race as she saw a blade wedged in the ground in front of them. Sadboi stepped up, having recognized the scene's familiar setup.
"Guys, I think we're in for a surprise," she murmured, her voice a mix of excitement and anticipation. Sadboi gazed up and saw the faint outline of a cape fluttering in the wind, the figure waiting paitently upon a cliff. Then, gathering all her courage, she pulled the blade out of the ground, and the battle began.
Meta Knight dove down from the ledge, his eyes gleaming with a steely resolve. He was corrupted, his once noble form tainted by the touch of Dark Matter. The group gasped in horror, but Sadboi's determination didn't waver, having transformed into her Kamen Rider form. She knew that her favorite character was in there, somewhere. She knew his moveset like the back of her own hand, after all, he was her favorite.
The duel between Meta Knight and Sadboi was a flurry of sword strikes and energy blasts, each blow echoing through the corrupted Dream Land. Meta Knight's blade, Galaxia, clashed against Sadboi's own blade, sparks flying in a dazzling display of power. Sadboi combatted Meta Knight's Mach Tornadoes with blasts of calming vibesense energy. With each slash that Sadboi managed to parry, the clattering of steel was a satisfying sound to her ears.
The French Narrator watched with a mix of admiration and concern. "You must reach out to him, Sadboi," he called out. "Use your vibesense to show him the error of his ways."
Sadboi nodded, and she went on the defensive. "I'll get him to his normal self in no time, I'll promise ya that!" She spoke in her midwestern drawl, her focus never breaking.
The battle was intense, with Meta Knight's corrupted power pushing Sadboi to her limits. Yet she remained hopeful, her vibesense reaching out to the core of the creature's being. She searched for the light within, the essence of the hero she knew he was. The clash of steel rang out as they danced through the desolate landscape.
However, Sadboi's determination pulled her through, and she managed to pin the corrupted Meta Knight to the ground, her blade pushing against his mask. Her tone softened as she began to reach out to him through her vibesense, "I know that this isn't you. Me and my friends, we're only here to make things right." her words seeped with a calming tone.
Meta Knight struggled beneath her, but his movements grew weaker as the dark vibes that had been controlling him began to dissipate. His eyes, once a cold, lifeless black, flickered back to their original yellow. The corruption around him receded, and the land started to regain its vibrancy.
Sadboi felt a surge of relief and joy as she saw the light returning to Meta Knight's eyes. "You're back," she whispered. The French Narrator stepped forward, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Now, we must purify the rest of Dream Land," he said, his voice filled with resolve.
"Yesyes," Sadboi said, "And perhaps, we even have a new ally." Her voice, while exhausted, had a tone of hope.
Meta Knight's eyes searched the group, finally resting on Sadboi. The once cold gaze had been replaced with a spark of recognition. "You… you're the one," he murmured, his voice strained from the corruption. Sadboi nodded, and her heart swelled with pride despite the gravity of the situation.
"We're all friends here," she said gently. "We want to help you, and all of Dream Land."
Meta Knight's mask cracked, and a tear fell from his eye. The weight of his actions and the corruption that had taken hold of him were clear in his gaze. He nodded weakly. "I… I understand."
The group stood together, a diverse assembly of heroes from across the multiverse. They had faced so much together, and now they had a new ally in the fight against the Dark Matter. With Meta Knight back on their side, they were stronger than ever.
The French Narrator looked around, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "The Dark Matter's stronghold must be nearby," he exclaimed. "We shall not rest until we have restored peace to this realm!"
They set off again, the now-free Meta Knight guiding them with silent nods and gestures. The journey was fraught with danger, as more corrupted creatures of Dream Land attempted to hinder their progress. But the unity of the group was unshakeable, each member using their unique abilities to combat the darkness.
As they approached the stronghold, a foreboding castle loomed into view. It was a twisted reflection of the bright and cheerful world they knew, a place where shadows danced and malevolence reigned. The group steeled themselves for what was to come.
Inside the castle, they faced a horde of corrupted beings, each one a twisted version of a character they had come to love. But their resolve was unyielding, and they pushed through the darkness.
The final battle was against the Zero-Three, a being of pure malice. It towered over them, a monstrous amalgamation of corrupted emotions. The French Narrator transformed into his ultimate form, Kamen Rider Dolphin Azure. "We stand united," he announced, "against the tide of despair!"
Sadboi nodded, her eyes flashing pink. "Let's do this," she murmured, her vibesense pulsing with power. The group launched into action, each member attacking with everything they had. SpongeBob's bubbles captured the minions, while Patrick's brute strength smashed through the castle walls.
Meta Knight and Sadboi worked in tandem, their swords flashing in a mesmerizing dance. Each strike was a declaration of hope against the Zero-Three's tyranny. The creature roared, feeling the purifying light of Sadboi's vibesense.
Zero-Three grew more desperate, its form morphing into a nightmarish creature of writhing shadows. It unleashed a wave of dark energy, threatening to consume the heroes. But they stood firm, their bonds of friendship acting as a shield.
Sadboi saw her chance and focused her vibesense into a single point, creating a beacon of light. "This is for everyone we've lost!" she yelled, charging the light. It grew into a blinding beam, piercing the Zero-Three's core.
The creature shrieked in agony as the light began to purify it from the inside out. The castle around them started to crumble, the corrupted beings within dissolving into motes of light. The Zero-Three's power waned, and with a final, desperate roar, it was no more.
The castle collapsed in on itself, leaving the group standing in a clearing amidst the ruins. The sky cleared, revealing the once vibrant Dream Land in all its glory. The inhabitants of the world began to emerge from their hiding places, their eyes wide with amazement.
Kirby, now fully restored, floated over to Sadboi and gave her a gentle hug, his cheeks puffing out in a content sigh. The other heroes gathered around, each offering their thanks and admiration.
The French Narrator stepped back, his form returning to normal. "Sadboi," he said with a smile, "you've painted Dream Land with hope once more. Your journey through the multiverse has not been in vain."
Sadboi looked around at her friends, a warmth spreading through her. "We did it," she murmured, "together." The group nodded, their eyes reflecting the light of their victory.
As the citizens of Dream Land cheered, the friends knew that their adventure wasn't over. There were more worlds to save, more friends to make. But for now, they basked in the joy of their triumph, their hearts forever linked by the bonds they had formed in the face of darkness.
And as they left Dream Land, setting their sights on new challenges, Sadboi felt a newfound confidence within her. The traumas of her past no longer defined her; she was a hero, a beacon of light in a vast multiverse of possibilities.

So I decided to end @ask-lana-star-a-night.
And I honestly don't wanna pretend like this is a big loss.. Let's be honest here: I am a mess of a person. Never got to fully get used to having a schedule like everyone else. And if having a schedule means I gotta force my ADHD/Autistic ass to do the same thing even if I've grown out of drawing said thing, then I'd rather just take my own time. This isn't working. I believe the blog actually never worked in the first place..
But, for the very few 27 people who used to view it, here's some lore dump:
Lana Star-A Night is the lost daughter of Dalia Night and Galacta Knight. She was born 23 years ago in Warrior Memorial before her parents were forced to send her to Star Grass (a town on the South frontier of Whispy's Woods inhabited by humanoid lizards) to protect her from Dalia's abusive family. Her mother unfortunately died after sending her away, and her father was resealed before he could solve any more of this problem.
She was adopted by Janice Treeko and Randy Poker, a married couple of old lizards who used to be gardeners. 5 years after being adopted an outbreak of mysterious goo creatures began to devour every single citizen in that town with only Lana remaining. This brought her to start learning how to survive on her own by a very young age, and thankfully she didn't need to do it all alone for long.
A few months after turning 16 years old, she met Billy, a piece of Dark Matter who was taken care of by Dalia's spirit and sent to accompany Lana on her time in Star Grass. The only reason Lana didn't leave is that because at the same time that she could just run away, the problem in the town would still be around, so she promised to stay until all those creatures were exterminated.
Meanwhile Dalia, refusing to give up her efforts to protect her daughter from the cruelties of her family, stayed around as an invisible spirit to protect Lana despite the gods of death also being on her tail for going against their laws. Her objective is to not only protect Lana, but also to find Galacta Knight and take revenge on her mother: Tourmaline Night, the leader of the Night's Mansion and its cult of Puffball Supremacy.
A few months after meeting Billy, she met Cherry Pastelle Dee, a girl coming from a town of pink-colored Waddle Dees called Rosé Town. Both her and Lana became girlfriends in quite a short time, and even despite that they were really close to each other, even if Cherry's parents weren't accepting of their relationship. However one night Cherry almost died to one of those creatures, making Lana so guilty and confused she decided to break their romantic relationship. Even after that, Cherry Dee vows to help Lana when she needs the most. Now she sells natural goods while frequently visiting Lana.
Finally, after several years, the creatures were exterminated and Lana got the means to move out of Star Grass and pursue a better life. It didn't matter if Billy followed her. She moved to Cappy Town and began to live her so awaited comfortable life, striving to become a musician and a DJ. Her adventures include meeting Meta Knight, Kirby, Tiff, Tuff and her family, and many other people we all know and love.
A little bit about Dalia and The Night's:
Dalia is the daughter of Tourmaline Tekko Night and Taurus Kint Night. Ever since she was very young, she strove to fight against the problematic and dangerous beliefs of the Night's family cult, said beliefs being that Puffballs are the superior race, and should take their place as leaders of Popstar. Dalia is known to be the most rebellious of the mansion, rarely being followed by her older cousin Martha Oville Night due to said cousin's strength and perseverance not being as great as Dalia's. One night after becoming an adult, Dalia planned on summoning and fighting Galacta Knight so she would be worthy of leaving the mansion's territory and perform a plan to fight against Tourmaline. However, that plan strikes back and both her and Galacta Knight are forced to fly away to avoid being caught by the cultists.
During the time they spent together, they built a relationship of trust and love, leading to them having Lana. But as said before, they were found by Tourmaline and were forced to escape again. Lana was sent to Star Grass, Dalia was burned ablaze, and Galacta Knight was resealed.

after drawing lesbian morpho knight i wanna do the other Orb Knights (the ones i hc as kirbies) and i have gay mk and ace dmk (hcs i actually hold) but im struggling with galacta. i wanna do bi but that doesn’t fit them super well to me (granted i haven’t pondered them a whole lot) the most fitting one i can think of for their color scheme and character that i can think of is genderfluid but… with the black and white taken out for clarity… its just gonna look like the bi flag again… agh…
