We finally have final, final confirmation that we're moving tomorrow and picking up the keysssssssssss

I've held off on being excited until everything was finalised in case of some kind of last minute disaster but its happeningggg

Me and my partner will be moving in together for the first time into this beautiful 2 bedroom flat. It's got literally everything I wanted: lots of natural light, a huge kitchen, in a nice quiet area just 10 minutes walk from a "town" centre and it has a spacious living room that's big enough for a table so we'll be able to host games nights at our house and a spare room for people to stay over in

Honestly, now it's confirmed I feel such a sense of relief. Its been a horrendous process full of uncertainty and last minute arrangements so I'm glad it's mostly over. We just have to actually move in 😂

I told my partner back in March I wanted to live with with him and I'm so happy it's finally happening? No more saying goodbye, no more staying over. Living together. Cuddles everyday. Kdhdkdhdodkdldld.

I'm still a little nervous because oh god what if we're not compatible living together or something. I'm sure it will be fine but living with a partner, especially with prior horrible experiences, is an experiment in really getting to know each other.

I'm still excited thoughhhh.

And his parents have been sooooo nice??? They not only paid our deposit but are driving up to London tomorrow to gift us a bunch of furniture and help us move in??? Which is unfathomable to me as a person with a less than helpful parent.

Now I just have to...pack.

And then survive tomorrow.

You wake up in new world and the first thing you see is... Bakugou katsuki?

Okay so imagine y/n wakes up in a field, tthe plants are wild and the smell is oddly fresh she hears a sound and focuses on it while her eyes are still closed

She notices it sounds familiar and immediately bolts upright

Which makes her dizzy and she then winces and holds her head in her hand

The voice stops and she opens her eyes to see shes in someone’s s shadow

It’s bakugou and he’s looking down at her

Her heart rate quickens and before she can say anything hes like “huh ur finally awake. About dam time”

She’s confused because like wtf is happeningggg??and then she feels a little heat in her palm

She looks down to see little flames dancing across her fingertips,and they’re purple not blue or red or orange

Bakugou looks up after hearing her gasp and then even hes taken aback

She asks him how this could happen and he says its the fabled “wayfinder flame” a power that has only been granted to those who were truly lost

He explains that she really must be “really fuckin lost” if this flame has found her

And she explains how she’s not from that world and isnt even sure how she got there

He listens

And then finally agrees to help her find her way

Shes taken aback because “omg bakugou katsuki wants to help me???” But he just wants to know more about the flame and when she asks how hes gonna help her he rolls his eyes and explains how the flame actually works

It burns brighter and hotter and grows more powerful as its wielder finds their way home

Wherever that may be.

He also says that this power is rarer than “a fucking full moon” because according to the lore the only thing stopping everyone from getting this is they must first be “completely utterly and hopelessly lost for it find them” not just a certain feeling of being lost that fades away after time

And as they go on

They fight monsters meet people and grow closer

All the while the flame is growing stronger (i mean that literally AND as a metaphor for their feelings for eachother!)

The finale

They reach a lake

The water is black,a stark contrast to its beautiful surroundings but the reader feels a pull to it and katsuki has a bad feeling

She feels it call to her

And just as he remembers why its dangerous , she’s already jumped in

Its the pool of the damned

No one who goes in ever comes out

Katsuki jumps in to save her and he sees everything

Her life that lead up to this moment

Why she was feeling lost, all her moments of pain ,all her lows

He sees it in the water and in the distance he can see it all drowning her

He pushes through and swims through the abyss and saves her

But when he brings her out she’s not breathing

So he does uk

Cpr mouth to mouth

And his wakes her up

And as they deepen the kiss the lake clears and a figure emmerges

It looks like a fairy but katsuki just sees a ball of light

It tells her that she is truly found,now and asks if she wishes to return home

The being even opens up a portal to show how they’re the real deal

And y/n looks at it.. she contemplates going back but she chooses not to

She’s found her home

Yes

But it isnt back in her world

Its katsuki

Shes found her home in him

After letting the being know of her decision,the being seems to smile.it doesnt have a face but they both know its smiling

And then is disappears

Katsuki asks if shes sure about this

Someone’s probably already said this but its likely to be partly due to our hyper individualist culture & wanting to be different and cool (since being ‘queer’ is cool now). If you’re queer you’re the main character in an anime with the different coloured hair, not one of the background characters who all look the same. Tbh it’s not entirely dissimilar to how white women will appropriate beauty trends(and sometimes even the skin colour) of black women to be appear ‘cool’ and ‘different’ from all the other white women. Plus it gives the individual a license to lecture ‘non queer’ people on what it means to be queer, even if it is actually nothing at all irl. Using all the buzzwords and complex hard to define terms makes them appear smart, and obviously people like to feel smart. And since they’re part of an oppressed group (even if they’re not actually same sex attracted or even gnc, since as we’ve said queer can mean practically anything now) people more or less have to listen to them or be branded as bigoted. If you’re part of the mainstream you’re not worth listening to, but if you’re part of the counter culture (and as countless of them have said anything that is counter culture is ‘queer’) you are.

Also, particularly for white men, imo they’ll often identify as queer after learning how much of their class hurts the rest of the world. They don’t want to take accountability or feel guilty about being a white man so they just…don’t be one. Whereas for women, I believe it’s in an effort to escape our increasingly gendered and sexist world. For them it is easier to be a man. And ofc there’s also the fascination, obsession and fetishisation of gay people for both ‘queer’ men and women…that’s also a big factor.

I was really excited though to recognize Zeno, Kaggy, and Anairis!! They're all stars and I'm proud of them. I really don't think it was any actors fault for being off, it was a consistent thing with moat of the females sounding off as I mentioned. Idk what happened. I'm going to have to rewatch this tomorrow to actually remember the events that happened because I just could not focus. The pacing was wonky, and nothing felt like it fit, like it was trying too hard to be normal, but it just wasn't. Is "uncanny" the right word for this?

SO MANY THINGS HAPPENINGGGG so let me start with the first thing that happened! so first, we had a college fair and career talk at school at the same time. i have four colleges i have my eye on : ust, feu, iacad and up. ust because ive been there before several times, it used to be my dream school and i think i can get the performing arts scholarship that they offer. feu because its more convenient because i have some connections to the professors there ad plus ive been there before when i was chosen as my school’s poetry writing participant for their interschool creative writing participant (*shudders* OH MINE WAS SO BAD). iacademy because... i dont know? its iacademy, its everyones dream school right now. i see pics of the campus and it looks really nice and i heard its different from other schools. im not so sure how well it is education-wise though.. and up because DUH. im actually not sure what course i want to take in college yet. im a humss student because i like public speaking, learning about people, reading and analyzing text, but i actually dont know what to do with my life after i finish my education. im just kind of stuck in this limbo. my dream job is to become a musical theatre actress, but my parents would never allow me to make that my full-time job because they told me it wont make me any money, which sucks. i was thinking multi-media arts because im good at drawing and designing and i enjoy both, but i dont know if thats what i actually want. mass communications is another course im interested in and i looked at the list of jobs i could get with a mass comm degree and... they just seem so plain. of course, i could probably do the things theyll ask me to do but, will i ever be satisfied? political science and psychology seem really cool, and they interest me a little bit. ive never seen myself as a future lawyer, but now that i think about it... i kind of like it? then again, im not totally sure if thats what i actually want in life. i also kinda like information technology but i dont get the clear picture of what you actually do there. but thats the future, and right now, im trying to focus on the present. we recently had a title presentation of our thesis, and my group’s topic is focused on the educational system of the philippines. i would like to mention that i really enjoy doing the thesis these days because the topics are more psychology and humanities-based, which is a refreshing change from all those science experiments. walang bayad pa! (except for the book bind oops). our group totally nailed the presentation and all of us got a perfect score. hoorah! but boy lemme tell you the highlight of this entry which is Mabining Mandirigma : A Steampunk Musical. i just watched it a few days ago and I LOOOVED IT. i enjoyed it a lot more than i thought! the songs were amazing and i loved the costumes and the characters were a lot of fun. even if i couldnt understand the tagalog sometimes, the actors did a great job portraying the emotion so i got the idea easily. aguinaldo’s voice was SOOOO GOOOOOD and i like the idea of mabini being played by a girl to match aguinaldo’s voice and theyre right. the illustrados were really funny and pepe is my favorite character and i want to protect that precious boy. i am so glad that i watched it and im sad that they recently just closed but hey, it was totally worth it. (((btw got a postcard of aguinaldo signed by arman ferrer YIEEEEEE))))
