✩ Asked Gaz to match one of those cringe usernames with him. Probably something like 'I Blow Bubbles' and 'Bubbles'. Gaz said no and also asked him to never speak of it again. (He asked you later, and you nearly cried on the spot.)

✩ Once cried because the enemy's team Jett was a smurf, and threatened to take his girl. He worried about it briefly, then remembered all of his '''''girls''''' were just down the hall. And not impressed with a guy that had more kills in a video game than in real life.

✩ Laughs when he sees Price die, than screams when he gets shot immediately after.

✩ His flashes are usually really good, but if Soap or Ghost make a snide remark, or Price tries to take the leadership-role, he'll flash everyone. Says it was a misclick but no one is buying it.

✩ Has watched multiple lineup videos, and takes it all very seriously. If you or Soap are bantering while he's trying to do it exactly right, he'll threaten to go to your rooms and smother you with your pillows. (Neither of you complain, and if you're feeling particularly bratty, you'll push him to his limits.)

✩ Was the first one to play Valorant, and got Soap hooked. From there, it spiralled, but he's just happy he gets to do something he enjoys so much with the people he loves so much.

✩ Definitely the most patient one of the team. He kinda taught all of you at some point, because he doesn't get pissed off as easily as Soap. Also, he just loves watching as either you, Price or Ghost start to understand how fun it is -- and start to be able to properly play.

✩ [NSFW] Has played with you sitting on his dick, letting you cockwarm him while he presses kisses into your neck. Did it while in a custom game with Soap, and whenever Soap was starting to win, he'd set the voicechat to auto, so your moans and whimpers could be heard. PRICE as a KILLJOY MAIN

✩ He plays KJ purely out of spite. When you three (ghost would never) first begged him to play with you, Soap, Gaz and you had convinced him to play Brim. He was not impressed when five minutes in, Soap was whining for him to try and say the voice lines.

✩ The reason he likes playing her so much is because he can spend his time setting up sites. He likes defense over attack, and it's really cute when he hums while trying to do lineups.

✩ (He doesn't tell any of you this, but part of it is that he gets to sit back while you all compete for top frag. In the field, he might take the top rank, but he likes seeing you all laugh and poke fun at each other. He falls a lil bit more in love with each of you every time threats are thrown about over comms.)

✩ His aim is shit. Like, absolutely terrible. Has complained multiple times about how the guns don't have the right heft to them, and that it's all completely unrealistic.

✩ If he goes AFK, it's to head to either you or Gaz, pick you up, sit in your seat, and just watch as you play from his lap. Just rests his chin on your shoulder and wraps his arms around your waist. Doesn't care about the penalty -- would much prefer to embrace his partner.

✩ If any of you are up late, playing, when he wants to cuddle up and go to sleep, he WILL turn off the internet just as you press queue again. Feigns ignorance, but you all know it was him. (You all pretend that you believe him, because you can't exactly decline his silent neediness.)

Do you think fans should judge gymnasts for their opinions on political/moral issues? (e.g. Alec on Gay Marriage)It kind of depends. Like, if they have differing opinions but aren’t actually spewing hate about it, I kind of don’t care? I’ll use my Mormon friend as an example. She’s a devout Mormon, and has been brought to believe being gay is a sin. But she actually doesn’t have an issue with people being gay, and she never says anything hateful about it, the only thing she’s ever said to me about it is ‘my religion believes it’s wrong, but I don’t have strong views either way’, and I feel like if gymnasts are the same about political/moral issues, then just leave them be. If they’re actively spewing hateful shit and potentially upsetting or hurting people, absolutely call them out on it.14. What’s your favorite meet from before you were born? The 1996 team final. A whole six weeks before I was born.15. Do you think it’s distasteful for a gymnast to compete with a messy bun/half ponytail?No, because I often wear them myself. It actually is possible to make them look cute, trust me.16. What are your dream Olympic Podiums for 2012?In 2012, I was pretty happy with all the results, but I would change a few small things. I would’ve had Aly win the AA bronze tiebreak over Aliya, purely because even though she had a mistake, she actually stayed on all her events whereas Aliya fell. I’d have had McKayla win gold (without a fall obviously) on vault, and swapped out Maria Paseka for Janine Berger, and I would’ve snuck Lauren Mitchell in for floor bronze.17. If the IOC decided we had to get rid of one apparatus for the female AA, which would you choose?This is actually really hard... my very first instinct was bars. Not sure why, because I actually enjoy bars. Probably beam. Beam is the event where you could potentially lose an entire group and then the gymternet pitches a fit over the fact that all three medalists fell off beam and so X gymnast who came 18th with an FTY should’ve been the Olympic Champion. (I do love you all very much :D)18. What’s the worst leotard you ever saw?Some of Ferrari’s have been a little questionable (like the London one where she forgot to sew on a sleeve). Reveling in Richonne

#41: The Fight (7x4)

I love that Rick and Michonne are a couple that might not always agree with each other but they always understand each other. Like always.

It’s honestly such a beautiful and consistent thing in their relationship that even when they have differing opinions they can still understand where the other person is coming from. They still genuinely take the others person’s words to heart no matter what. And, even when they don’t initially agree, they work through it so that they always end up on the same page. And this 7x4 scene is a great example of this.

So Rick's making this pallet and then Michonne comes and stands in the doorway. The shot of just her shoes is so interesting because usually a shot like that is done to show a character that you don't know yet or who's a suspicious stranger (I.e. the introduction of the trash people was done by showing just the shoes of one of them in 7x8). But we know this is Michonne watching Rick, so I feel like this shot was used to make us feel the slight distance between her and Rick. She's far from a stranger, but they aren't as on par with one another, which is strange for them. They're in the same room but something is sort of separating them.

It's interesting too that she stands in the doorway and just watches him for a moment. It's not til Rick notices her that they start speaking. She's clearly hesitant about something but also I think she just stands there because she’s having to process just how much the Saviors have violated their home and degraded her man, and you know that breaks her heart.

This moment of silence feels significant because I can’t remember a time where we’ve seen Michonne be hesitant to speak her mind with Rick. They've always been pretty candid with each other, but here I feel like she knows it’s going to be a tough conversation to essentially let Rick know she wants to try and fight back.

Rick tells her the Saviors took the mattresses and then we finally fully see Michonne in the doorway. I really like the staging of this scene with Rick on the ground and Michonne standing up. It’s an effective visual way to illustrate their contrasting stances towards this Negan situation. Rick is prepared to kneel and just take it, even though he hates it. And Michonne is ready to stand up and fight. Plus, it just feels like Rick is looking up at his queen lol. So I’m even more here for it.  😋 

Michonne makes the good point about how the Saviors must have not had a list of their own guns since that rifle was one of theirs. I love that Rick stops and thinks about this. Like you can tell he knows she’s made a good point. And then Michonne says that they probably could have hid more guns since the Saviors didn't have a list. Michonne stays strategizing lol. 👏🏽

And in a moment of humorous irony Rick asks Michonne if she's hidden more guns and she says no. I feel like the way this moment is delivered, they are both aware of the irony of him now asking her about hidden guns. It also feels like the pause Michonne does before saying no is partly cuz I think she feels bad for not telling Rick about the rifle. She knows she can trust him and she doesn’t want them to be a couple that has secrets or has to question each other. 

It's clear, to both us and Michonne, that Rick has resigned to doing this whole "serve Negan" thing until further notice because he's willing to quiet his inner fighter if it means protecting the ones he loves. It actually takes a huge amount of strength for him to be this subservient.

Since this is the first episode that we’re seeing Rick since the premiere, this is where we really get to see the state of mind that he’s in post-lineup. He’s broken and ready to not just “play along” with Negan, but legitimately live this enslaved life for the sake of keeping TF alive.

Michonne is clearly not too happy. And after saying she hasn’t hidden more guns, she starts to physically walk away from the room as she figuratively walks away from this confrontation. But then what I love so so so much is that she turns around and comes back. I love that she comes back!

The movement and actions throughout this whole scene speak just as loud as the dialogue and it’s so telling and well done. The reason I find this moment, of Michonne walking out and coming back, so powerful is because it's her physically choosing Rick over her emotions. He is worth the fight.

I know in Michonne's nature she's independent and private and so to let herself get visibly emotional or share her raw feelings is a big deal. But I love that, even though that's not the easiest thing for her, she turns around and decides to still speak her mind and talk it out with her man.

Had she walked away it would've only caused more distance between them. It would have left feelings unresolved and would have just added to the tension. So for her to come back makes a world of difference. Like she walks away and you can visibly see her debate staying or leaving but she goes against her normal and decides to stay for him and for them.

It reminds me of a scene in my other favorite show "The Office". Pam and Jim are at odds in an episode and they haven't really been communicating. They debate spending Valentines Day apart to avoid fighting but Pam tells Jim “I think you should stay and I think we should fight.”

It’s a deep sentiment cuz sometimes fighting, and talking it out, and sharing your raw emotions can be the healthiest thing you can do for your relationship.

To me, Michonne turning around was her saying “I think I should stay and I think we should fight, because that's only going to help not hurt our relationship.” This movement is a big deal and shows that Michonne knows her relationship with Rick is strong enough to endure a bit of fighting. I'm so glad she turned around and chose Rick over her possible temptation to shut down.

She comes back and she passionately tells him "Everything we have, we've got from fighting." It's true. Their post-apocalyptic lives have consisted of a ton of fighting to survive. It's also fitting that the two of them, TF's strongest fighters, reflect on how fighting is a huge way that they've made it this far.

Rick tells her “I made the choice.” which is interesting. I don’t know exactly what he means by this, cuz it’s not like he’s saying “I made the choice to give up the guns”, that was Negan. In my opinion, it feels like he’s saying “I made the choice to start this fight with Negan” and so he devastatingly feels he deserves this horrible situation that they’re in now.

He tells her that this is about numbers and Michonne mentions the Hilltop but I know Homegirl knew that was a stretch deep down lol. Hilltop has maybe one and a half people who can actually fight. 😂 And then Rick reminds her that they’d still have the numbers. It’s interesting cuz, as frustrated as he says that line, you know he’s not frustrated with her but the situation.

And Rick doesn’t make eye contact as he tells her “We play by their rules and we get some kind of a life.” You know this isn’t what he wants and he knows this isn’t what she wants which is why I think he doesn’t look at her when he says it. He’s basically saying they’re stuck between a rock and a hard place indefinitely.

So Michonne asks with such pain in her voice "What kind of a life?". You can literally feel her every emotion in this line. Again, this is her hearing his words, letting them sink in, and then saying them back. And she makes a very good point. Being Negan's slave is not living and Michonne doesn't want anyone to cheapen their quality of life just because they can. Rick doesn't either, but he doesn't see another option right now. For him, he'd rather have a lesser life that included her than fight prematurely and lose her.

Both Rick and Michonne are very aware of the pain and frustration in her voice when she asks this. Like it almost looks like Michonne surprised herself by letting that out. But I really appreciate that this is Michonne choosing to fight to express herself rather than bottle it up. 

While yes, R&M are sort of in a “fight” (more like a disagreement) right now, what’s even more evident is that they are fighting to communicate and to get on the same page.

This was Michonne fighting to be vulnerable with Rick. And next, Rick very movingly does the same.
