Back on my meds, making a damn decent paycheck despite how many days I had to take off this month, my mom’s feeling better now that she’s home and we’ve figured everything out, our neighbor’s gonna build us a wheelchair ramp for cheap, and my dad miiiiiiiiight be buying a new car as we speak 🤞 (my mom just can’t get into the truck anymore, and she hasn’t wanted to drive her two seater for a while now, so we’re trading it for something practical). Things are finally going fairly well, all things considered ❤️

I think a great service a games launcher could offer is to bring back rentals.

Let me pay the cost of a cheap lunch and get access to any game on your platform for the weekend. Make it so if I rent it enough times, I own it. Let me decide if it's worth the full price, or only worth playing a couple of times before I get bored of it. I can't afford to buy a huge library of full price AAA games, but I'd be a lot more likely to give games a chance if I could just drop a few bucks on them here and there when I actually have the time and inclination to play.

Being able to sew your own clothes may not be the most accessible things (especially sustainably) but I will forever be an advocate for being able to MEND your own clothes

Even if it’s a kinda ugly whip stitch on the inside of your shirt or a ladder stitch to adjust the size of some jeans or a mismatching patch on the sole of your socks— literally anything that’ll make your clothes last longer, even if it just means they’ll last long enough for you to give it away to someone else

And then when it can no longer be mended, use it to mend other clothes
