university is just paying for somebody to teach you, and then finding a video of someone online teaching the same content for free, in an easier to understand way, with more detail, in HALF THE TIME

#i fuckign forget every time #i struggle with something in the lecture #(this time bc the guy staight up contradicted himself)#and i wrangle with the notes and the lecture and the textbook and google #until eventually i try youtube and its like Oh ffs. that was so easy.#dude covered EVERY CONDITION I NEEDED TO KNOW #and it turns out my lecturer left out a whole ass aspect of bilirubin that was FUCKING IMPORTANT #man was like. obstructive jaundice has bilirubin in the urine.#and then two points later #in ibstructive jaundice bilirubin doesnt make it to the gut so you have no urobilirin or whatever #turn out bilirubin in the urine and the conversion of bilirubin to urobilinigen which ends up in the urine are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS #YOU CAN JUST HAVE STRAIGHT BILIRUBIN IN THE URINE BC IT GOES FROM THE BLOOD TO THE KIDNEYS!!#IT DOESNT HAVE TO GET CONVERTED TO UROBILINOGEN!!! BUT HE DOESNT SAY THAT!!!#i was looking at like 3 different slides that all said different things for SO LONG #and he ALSO doesnt talk about the difference between unconjugated and conjugated bilirubin in the blood #but tells us how to MEASURE IT?#so i had to go teach myself THAT as WELL #and i BET it wont even MATTER #i HATE IT HERE!!!!#lauratexts2024
