even though Isabel’s main verse of becoming an immortal is in the modern time, I still would love to explore many possibilities of different eras where Isabel becomes an immortal. especially during the greek myth era. I’ve already came up with 1800s one-- where she died saving a child and fate chose her to become protector of humanity, turning her into an immortal for that reason.

I love how most random concepts just pop in my head while I’m doing something simple, like eating or showering.

but, @torntruth , listen... a concept for the morality world and the Hunters ( aka Esme’s enemy ) in Norway suddenly working for Kane and gaining the benefit of superpowers just to overcome Esme and the Cruz clan. Isabel ends up having to head on over there to help Esme fight them off with Nicole, Kristen and Mary-sue. It’s just another chaotic part thrown in the middle of a messy war that Kane asked for.

random hc of the day: in her pre-immortal days, when she was working as a federal agent, she didn’t sleep well due to PTSD and nightmares about her tour in afghanistan... she often will go out for a night run / work-out or read a book. she didn’t drink though, she never really had much interest in alcohol. that doesn’t mean she would indulge in a drink once and then on special occasions though, and she has a high tolerance to alcohol. so she never really got drunk.

Isabel what  is your favorite memory with Mary Sue?

𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐄. Especially for Isabel Hart, concerning Mary-sue Smith-- how could she pick one out of all the memories she holds dear to her heart? 

From the day she first met them. To the day they first kissed, because it’s not like any of those typical romantic first kisses. You know, the first date or third date kisses. No, it happened on a random weekend day. It was raining by then. Isabel didn’t want to leave, nor did they want her to leave. She just had to go save the world with her little group of immortals. Isabel forgot that she wanted to leave a personal belonging of hers with Mary-sue, to remember her by and her way of promising she’ll come back. So, she ran back up the steps- they were standing at the front door. Isabel’s breathing a little heavily as they make eye contact, and they don’t say a single word. Isabel just hands over the personal belonging, which was a bracelet that her younger sister had made for her. She wanted them to have it. They take it without question, they know what it is. They’ve talked about it before. Isabel doesn’t move to leave just yet. The rain is absolutely POURING and soaking her clothes. But she doesn’t care. She just wants one more moment with them, just for a little longer. There’s a spark they both notice in their eye contact and they cave in, gravity pulling them towards one other till lips crashed upon lips into an almost desperate kiss. Their messages through the kiss are different, but also the same. Hers say:  ‘I’ll be thinking of you, every single minute.’  Theirs say:  ‘Please come back home soon.’ 

How could she choose between the previously mentioned memory, and the simple days where they’re lazing about at Mary-sue’s apartment. Or playing around with each other. Being absolute goofs with one other. Like that one time when Mary-sue drenched her with the water from the kitchen sink hose. Then Isabel looking absolutely betrayed in a playful manner, before advancing on them with an ice in hand-- a wide grin spreading across her face. The way they shamelessly flirted with her till she surrendered and wrapped them up into a loving embrace after she’d peeled her soaked shirt off. It’s her favorite memory, because they’re just being normal and being themselves without any hindrances from the cruel world laying in wait. They were free... and happy. 

Or how about that time, when they went to Vegas to get married?  They didn’t bother with the whole BIG wedding thing. The white dress, huge cake, a reception, numerous guests in which they don’t even know half of them... the limo to whisk them away to their hotel, or to the airport for a flight to their honeymoon. No, they went with their own simple thing- a handful people that they both knew, loved and cherished. At this cute chapel somewhere in Vegas, and their reception was a penthouse that belonged to Persephone and Hades, with the best view over the city. They had the biggest smile on their face, and Isabel was falling in love all over again.  Ten times over. The way her tuxedo got dirty when they playfully shoved the chocolate cake against her mouth and they just laughed hard, when she’d do the same. It turned into a little cake fight. Neither of them won... Kristen and Nicole did, actually.  

She could go on forever with the list of memories. But in summary, she just CANNOT pick one. She loves every moment with them. They’ll live on in her heart for centuries upon centuries to come. Even as they pass and when she’s alone again. Then when she meets the reincarnation of Mary-sue, she’ll fall in love all over again and make new memories to cherish. She’ll never be able to pick just one. Why should she? When she has a few more thousand years to go? She should be able to have more than one favorite, as reminders to keep her humanity when the world becomes cold.

Isabel Hart was just an ordinary blacksmith working with her father in New York when she was killed for saving and protecting a child from an abusive lifestyle. The killer’s intention was to off the child before it could give up sensitive information about their horrendous operation that mostly included child labor-- acting in an outrage, and Isabel put herself in the crossfire to shield the child. That didn’t stop fate from bringing her back to life and turned her into an immortal, deeming her fit to be a protector of humanity. This is how the Brotherhood of Assassins sought her out and convinced her to join them, because they needed more people like her. Willing to sacrifice everything they had known in their previous lives in exchange to offer humanity salvation. 

It was a difficult and heartbreaking decision Isabel had to make, leaving her loving family behind... having to be declared dead to them. It was probably for the best anyway, because had they known she somehow came back from the dead wouldn’t settle with them-- despite knowing her baby sister wouldn’t be afraid and would stick by her through thick and thin. 

Eventually, she is contacted about a Piece of Eden in London and all hands on deck were absolutely necessary to retrieve this piece. To ensure humanity survives. Isabel didn’t hesitate to accept-- thinking about the child she had saved and sworn she would do whatever it takes to secure their future. For them to grow and thrive.

When Isabel died and came back as an immortal at the age of 30, during an undercover case in New Mexico as a federal agent... at first, she felt like it was a punishment for what happened in Afghanistan as a combat soldier in the army. When she survived while half of her squad / friends got blown up by terrorists. A punishment for the fact she cheated death. It took time for her to come to terms that it wasn’t a punishment, just fate choosing her to be a protector of humanity. Even if she hates the fact she’s going to outlive everyone she’s ever known and loved.

Another verse she is dating / engaged to Mary-sue Smith ( @torntruth​ ) and funnily enough, she also slept with their sister Kristen Durus. Guess it’s a small world after all!  Otherwise in most verses, she tries to stay single due to her immortality. 

abilities or powers —  Superhuman strength, ability to see and detect supernatural & paranormal. Can see ghosts as clear as day, even if they try to conceal themselves. She also can feel the spirit’s exact emotions prior to their deaths, during and after. Demons / evil or negative entities are her biggest weakness... because they can drain her energy and leave her vulnerable. They can leave a mark on her that lasts for weeks or a month, depending on how dark they are and it can cause Isabel to shift into a darker mindset or personality. She is immortal, so she has rapid healing / regeneration.

where were they born?: Nags Head, North Carolina.  what was the circumstances of their conception?: purposeful, her parents wanted to have children.  what was their mother like?: Lucy Hart is an elementary school teacher, a heart of gold and stubborn. She would give her life to save a child. She’s big on charity work, and an animal lover. When she gets angry though, she can be blunt and straight to the point... doesn’t like to back down and will fight to get her point across, always having the last word.  what was their father like?: Jackson Hart is an EMT and the inspiration behind Isabel’s desire to help and protect people. He’s a gentle giant, which is where Isabel gets it from and he’s a quiet type of guy. Mostly keeps to himself and will only open up, show more of his playful side with those he trusts (i.e. Lucy and his family). He can be quite the charismatic kind of man, too.  do they have siblings? if so what are they like?: a younger sister named Kristina, who is deaf and non-binary. They are quiet and shy at first impression, but can actually quite spunky / sassy and can be rebellious but in the good way when you get to know them well enough and if they become comfortable enough around you. what archetype do you intend for them to be?: the protector. what is the general plot for their life?:   A human who had the desire to serve and protect people / humanity as a combat soldier, before becoming a federal agent and then being murdered on an undercover case only to come back from death as an immortal and becoming a part of Andy’s (Andromache of Scythia) army of immortals --- sharing one purpose, to protect the world and humanity.  lives are generally made up of a several groupings of events rather than one specific catalyst, what was the first event which shaped your muse’s early childhood to determine how they view the world and process trauma?: When she was ten years old, there was a shooting at a shopping plaza and her father being an EMT worked tirelessly to rescue people on that day. When he came home after the horrific event, it was the first time she had seen him utterly broken and exhausted... the first time she witnessed his break down and saw him cry. It was truly eye-opening to how impactful humanity is and how worthy it is to protect.  what was a secondary event which either confirmed or changed those developing beliefs?: Her last tour in Afghanistan, where half of her squad was killed by terrorists and she survived with minor shrapnel wounds.  what was a third event which cemented specific aspects of their world view?: Her first death as a federal agent and coming back to life as an immortal, only to be forced to abandon her family and knowing they believed she was dead.  will their general arc be about their world view evolving from beliefs they had held onto or will it be a confirmation of their experiences?: Most likely a confirmation of her experiences.  in a group of people (friends, family, coworkers etc) what role will they take on?: The protector, a trustworthy friend you could trust your life with and if you wanted a stress relief, she would do whatever it takes to make you smile.  what do they want most in life?: To ensure humanity survives and to experience every beauty the world has to offer.  what do they dread most in life?: Witnessing a catastrophic event that could destroy the world and wipe out mankind. what is their worst fear?: Failing to save humanity and losing herself.  what would be the best thing that could happen to them?: To not be an immortal anymore, to grow old and die knowing she helped humanity survive. what do you as the writer see would be the best outcome for them even if it’s something they wouldn’t consider?: Leaving life peacefully and feeling fulfilled.  what do you want the theme of their character to be?:  A protector that doesn’t really see herself as a hero, nor does she cares about being a hero... an immortal that will have her struggles and painful events where she nearly loses herself, but instead grows even more stronger as she fights back. Becoming wiser with age and sacrifices made along the way. lastly, what do you as a writer want to get out of writing this muse? is there a specific subject or life experience you want to explore through a fictional lens?: I’d like to see Isabel witnessing all kinds of events, different time lines, learning new things and explore places she’d never been to. Listening to and sharing stories that never had the chance to be told from spirits who were robbed of precious life.

Anything, honestly--- just as long she’s WITH them. Near them, and knowing they’re safe at home with her or when they’re out and about. She does thoroughly enjoy helping them bake cookies, watching movies and maybe play a card game when it’s raining out. (Although that never stopped them from dancing together in the rain before). Adventures with them out in the wilderness away from the city / town is always what she looks forward to just as much... exploring and sightseeing.

I still find it funny that Isabel slept with both Kristen and Mary-sue... didn’t know they were related till after Isabel got involved with Mary-sue and moved in with them. The mental picture of Isabel choking mid-drink when Kristen came in is fucking hilarious. Then Mary-sue just looking at them confused.

When it comes to expressing personal or rather intimate feelings or thoughts, Isabel very rarely lets it all out... so used to playing the ‘protector’ role and what it means to her, is that none of her feelings or trauma matters. Only those that she protects come first. Even with friends. With Mary-sue, it’s a whole another story. All they would need to do is give her one look and the floodgates are gonna open without resistance. It’s a sign of absolute trust.
