Sunrisers Hyderabad made the highest score of 287/3 in IPL 17, but in the final SHR scored just 113 runs. Hyderabad team could not even play the entire over against Kolkata Knight Riders and were limited to 18.3 overs.
IPL 17 was played in MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. After won the toss, Cummins decided to take batting first, but SRH could score only 40/3 in the powerplay. The team had to bear the brunt of this poor start and could not give a big target to KKR. Russell took 3 wickets and Starc and Harshit took 2–2 wickets.

Orange Cap in IPL: IPL 2023 has begun and the top scorers from around the world have already started smashing good runs from their bats. The top scorer from any IPL season becomes an Orange cap winner. The orange cap is dedicated to players that score the most runs in a single IPL season.
Orange cap winner prize money: Top scorer from a single IPL season (Orange cap winner) is awarded Rs 15 lakh at the end of the IPL season. Players with the most wickets in an IPL season are also rewarded with the “Purple Cap” title.
We will now discuss the orange cap winners in the history of IPL. Indian Premier League began in 2008 and in that season Shaun Marsh earned the title of Orange Cap winner by scoring 616 runs for his team Kings XI Punjab.
