Rohit Sharma Reflects on Emotional IPL 2020 Win in Abu Dhabi
Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma reflected on the emotional experience of winning the 2020 IPL in Abu Dhabi, recalling the intense three-and-a-half-month period spent in a bio-bubble. The team faced unique challenges during the tournament due to COVID-19 restrictions, living in the same hotel and rooms throughout the season.

Sharma noted that the confinement fostered a strong sense of camaraderie among players, creating lasting memories and bonds akin to family. “I remember in Abu Dhabi — when we won the 2020 IPL, I saw a few people crying,” he shared. The emotional weight of leaving behind the bubble after such a significant period was palpable for many, highlighting the sacrifices made during the tournament.
Despite the challenges, Mumbai Indians emerged victorious, clinching their fifth IPL title. The win was not just a testament to their skills on the field but also to their resilience off it. As players celebrated their triumph, the tears shed were a mix of joy and nostalgia for the unique journey they had undertaken together. This experience underscored the importance of teamwork and unity in overcoming adversity in sports.

(New) Dybowsky Allegations 20/12/24
This time, in a single DTF post created by his wife. I don't want to smother happy P3 news, but this should be shared to the English community as well, and it casts doubts on his involvement with P3 and possibly the later stages of P2.
The DTF post is in Russian, but here's a summary:
(allegedly) Dybowsky is a bad-off alcoholic and has been since 2020 at the very least. In April of this year, while drunk, he hit his wife Renata, so she left to Crimea with their son. Since then, he's been visiting and they've been getting along. But things broke down in divorce proceedings when he couldn't get them to move back to Moscow on his specific terms. So just recently, he tried to take his son with the help of another woman but didn't get far because Renata and her father stopped him. There was a bad fight, enough to hospitalize the father for a week and for papers to be handed over to police.
A few students/people who studied with Dybowsky/worked with him are corroborating in the comments that he is, bare minimum, deeply afflicted by addiction.
The good news is that, aside from Dybowsky being a potential danger to himself and others, Renata has her son and appears to have the support of her family and friends in Crimea. She's not dependent on Dybowsky in any way.
An aside: I'm just posting the news. Obviously, more information may come to light and this is "only" from one poster on a gaming website, however, it comes with a lot of receipts. There were whisperings about this days before the post and since this is a very personal situation, many people have been affected and have experiences with both Dybowsky and Renata. I would say, don't start brawling in IPL's comment section, but do spread the information. It's possible that Dybowsky has cruised through the past five years drunk and isn't as involved in the company as we think, or some sort of opposite is also possible. I've pasted the link below.

BCCI’s Lollipop to the IOC - Turning Cricket into a Global Sport

Cricket, a sport with a staggering fan base of 2.5 billion people worldwide (According to Sport Pledge) is making significant strides towards Olympic inclusion. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has been actively pushing for cricket's inclusion in the Olympic Games, with the ambition to debut at the LA28 Games. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), led by Jay Shah, has played a pivotal role in this endeavor. The Sportwiz explores the journey of cricket towards becoming a global sport, driven by the aspirations of the ICC and the strategic efforts of the BCCI.
source - IOC
Cricket has been making notable appearances in various multi-sport events, such as the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022 and the Asian Games in 2010, 2014, and the upcoming 2023 edition in Hangzhou, Even this years African Games hosted in Ghana will consist of cricket where it will be played in the T20 format. These inclusions highlight the growing recognition and acceptance of cricket as a global sport.

source - ICC
The question arises: Does the Olympics need cricket, or does cricket need the Olympics? Cricket's immense popularity, with a fan base of 2.5 billion people and its status as the second most-watched sport globally, demonstrates the sport's strength and appeal. However, Olympic inclusion would provide an unparalleled platform for cricket to reach new audiences and further boost its global recognition.

source - business today
The ICC's bid for Olympic inclusion emphasized the massive viewership cricket attracts. The 2022 T20 World Cup garnered a staggering 1.2 billion unique viewers globally. Additionally, the 2020 Women's World Cup saw 89 million viewers tuning in, showcasing the increasing popularity of women's cricket. These statistics exemplify cricket's potential as a major draw for broadcasters, sponsors, and fans alike.
India's significance as a cricket powerhouse cannot be overlooked. The country accounts for a substantial portion of cricket's global viewership, with 76% of the 113.5 million viewing hours recorded during major tournaments coming from India. The BCCI, backed by India's massive cricket market, has offered the International Olympic Committee (IOC) a chance to tap into this unique viewership, potentially elevating the Olympic Games' viewership in the Indian subcontinent.

source - InsideSport.in
The BCCI's main revenue stream, broadcasting rights, presents a compelling proposition for the IOC. Currently held by JIO and Viacom 18 for $31 million, these rights contribute to the ongoing profits of the Olympics. If cricket is included in the Olympics, the ICC estimates potential revenue of $130-260 million. These figures highlight the financial gains that could be achieved through cricket's Olympic participation.
The number $31 million USD is larger than the previous years in terms of Olympics in India but if we compare it to a similar number showcasing the money that’s involved in cricket, in the next financial cycle of the BCCI the Pakistan Cricket board ( PCB ) who hold a share of 5.75% is approximately valued at $34.5 million USD.

PCB Chairperson Mr Najam Sethi
source - The Express Tribune
Cricket's economic value has witnessed a remarkable surge, as evidenced by the 300% increase in media rights value for ICC and IPL. The media rights for ICC and IPL soared from ₹16,347 crores to a staggering ₹48,390 crores. This exponential growth further solidifies cricket's position as a lucrative sporting asset.

source - Sportskeeda
With the Indian Premier League (IPL) now ranked as the second most valued sporting league globally, cricket's future looks promising. The IPL's substantial viewership of 380 million domestic TV viewers in the 2021 season and cumulative viewership of 383 billion minutes for the 2020 campaign across TV and digital platforms indicate cricket's enormous potential according to Jay Shah. As cricket continues to captivate audiences, its inclusion in the Olympics could propel the sport to new heights.

The bid to include cricket in the Olympics is anticipated to be decided in the final session of the IOC, scheduled to take place in Mumbai in October. Brisbane 2032 Olympics presents a realistic opportunity for cricket's inclusion, given Australia's cricketing heritage. Surprisingly, Los Angeles may also be a potential host, thanks to the approval of the bid by former Mayor Eric Garcetti, now the US Ambassador to India, fostering stronger relations between India and the USA.

Cricket's journey towards becoming a global sport is gaining momentum, with the ICC and BCCI leading the way. The sport's immense viewership, economic value, and potential for growth make it an attractive addition to the Olympic Games. As the IOC contemplates cricket's inclusion, the world awaits a decision that could redefine the sport and pave the way for a future where cricket becomes truly global.

🔎 ABOUT THIS PROJECT
===============================
Since 2020 we have been working with SeaForester to restore kelp forests in Portugal. These underwater forests are astonishing havens for marine life which also improve water quality and sequester carbon. Unfortunately, large areas of kelp have disappeared from the coast of Portugal but reverting this trend has been difficult. One of the challenges is that restoration efforts tend to require extensive diving which quickly becomes costly and time-consuming. A new technique called “green gravel” has been developed to address this challenge and make large scale marine reforestation possible. It involves growing kelp attached to pebbles in a lab before deploying them at suitable locations in the ocean. For this project, we are building a kelp nursery that will allow us to test this method on a larger scale.

IPL 2025, KKR vs RCB: Opening act with a twist | Cricket News
KOLKATA: A good start is a job half done, and nobody knows it better than Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The former rode on some electric starts by their openers Sunil Narine and Phil Salt to lift the IPL trophy for the third time last season. It was such a different story just earlier. Across the IPL editions from 2020 to 2023, KKR had the worst average (25.8) and strike…

Most successful captains in IPL history
IPL 2025 is going to start from March 22. Ten teams will once again clash for the title. Fans are very excited about this tournament. 5 franchises (defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders, Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore) are appointing new captains for the upcoming season. At the same time, 5 teams are entering the field with their captains of the previous season. So far there have been a total of 17 seasons of IPL. Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians are the most successful teams in IPL history. Both franchises have won 5–5 titles so far. Kolkata Knight Riders have won 3 titles while Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals and Deccan Chargers have won 1–1 titles. The Deccan Chargers franchise left the IPL after the 2012 IPL. But do you know who is the most successful captain in IPL history? Today we are going to discuss about the 5 most successful captains in IPL history.
5. David Warner
The former Australian left-handed batsman first played for Delhi in 2009. He is always known for his aggressive batting style. In the year 2014, he joined the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. In 2015, he was appointed captain of SRH. This season, SRH finished 6th in the points table, but in the very next IPL 2025 edition, David Warner and Co. won their first IPL title. After this, SRH often reached the playoffs under Warner’s captaincy. In 2022, Warner returned to his old franchise Delhi Capitals, where he was also the captain. He has been the captain in 83 IPL matches, in which his team has won 40 matches.
4. Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya, the world’s best all-rounder, is the current captain of Mumbai Indians. Last year Mumbai Indians finished at the bottom of the points table, but everyone knows the controversy of this team last year. Mumbai fans were not considering him as the captain of the team in place of Rohit Sharma. But, this does not mean that Hardik is a bad captain. Under his captaincy, Gujarat Titans won the IPL title in 2022 and reached the final in 2023. Hardik has been the captain in 45 matches so far, in which his team has won 26 matches. He wants to improve their captaincy stats in upcoming cricket matches during the IPL and win the IPL title too.
3. Gautam Gambhir
Gautam Gambhir is the head coach of the current Indian cricket team. He was the former captain and mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders. Under his captaincy, Kolkata Knight Riders won the 2012 and 2014 IPL editions while KKR also won the 2024 IPL under his mentorship. Gautam Gambhir captained 129 IPL matches, in which his team won 71 matches. He is a player who is always available for his team, be it the IPL or national team.
2. Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma is the former captain of Mumbai Indians. Mumbai won 5 IPL titles under his captaincy. He made his IPL debut for the Deccan Chargers in 2008. He had already won the IPL title in 2009 as a player for this franchise. In 2011, Rohit joined Mumbai Indians and in 2013 the team management handed him the captaincy. After this, Mumbai Indians won the 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020 IPL editions. In 2024, Mumbai Indians management took over the captaincy from him and handed it over to Hardik Pandya. Rohit captained 158 matches, in which his team won 87 matches.
1. Mahendra Singh Dhoni
The most successful captain of the Indian team is also the most successful captain in IPL history. He was selected for Chennai Super Kings in 2008 and was also the captain of this franchise. Under his captaincy, Chennai Super Kings won 5 IPL titles. This team also lost 5 IPL finals. This means that CSK played 10 finals in IPL history. Only 2 times under his captaincy, CSK failed to qualify for the playoffs.

CSK Dynamic Player: Ruturaj Gaikwad in 2025
Ruturaj Gaikwad has cemented his place as an integral player in Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and he could be one player to look out for in IPL 2025. Someone known for his consistency and calmness, Gaikwad has quietly turned into one of his side’s most dependable cricketers. His performance will play a pivotal role in deciding CSK’s fate in the upcoming IPL as he gears up for yet another season with the team.

If You Want To Make A Lot Of Money Then Look For Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Ruturaj Gaikwad’s IPL debut was in 2020 with the Chennai Super Kings. He has improved as a cricketer since then. His execution of playing anchor innings together with his fearless approach at the top-order makes him the most fundamental part of CSKs batting line-up. In IPL 2021, he was awarded the Orange Cap for most runs, cementing his status as the next big thing in Indian cricket.
Ruturaj Gaikwad’s IPL journey is one of gradual progression and with every appearance he has blossomed into a central figure for his franchise CSK. He is now regarded as one of the top young openers in the IPL due to his ability to play both spin and pace bowling effectively.
IPL 2025: Ruturaj Gaikwad Continue the Good Way
With CSK preparing for the IPL 2025 season, expect the prolific Ruturaj Gaikwad to spearhead their charge. His pairing with Devon Conway at the top will be key in giving CSK’s innings a good start. There has been a similar story over the past few seasons.. Gaikwad has displayed that he is capable of playing responsible innings but also quick innings this year should be no different.
As MS Dhoni enters his last IPL season in 2025, Gaikwad and other players will gradually take up leadership responsibilities. His cool demeanour, similar to Dhoni, also places him in line for team leadership in the future. Though Gaikwad has not yet been formally entrusted any captaincy responsibilities, there is often an on-field maturity seen in him, more so under high-pressure situations.
Ruturaj Gaikwad: The Man with Many Talents
If Ruturaj Gaikwad also keeps well, it gives CSK one more versatile option apart from batting high in the order. While MS Dhoni will still don the wicketkeeper’s gloves for CSK in IPL 2025, Gaikwad’s credentials behind the stumps certainly give depth to the squad. Gaikwad can also take the stumps if required which allows CSK to have options.
Such dual skill set makes Gaikwad an increasingly valuable player for CSK. This versatility and team-first mentality are apparent in Schneider Jr.’s willingness to take on different roles and responsibilities. Whether it is providing with the bat or being prepared for wicket-keeping duties, Gaikwad is always ready for the task.
Ruturaj Gaikwad’s IPL Career
Ruturaj Gaikwad is one of the leading run-scorers for CSK since making his IPL debut. After some brilliant moments in his initial seasons, it was the 2021 IPL that brought him into the limelight. Gaikwad scored more than 600 runs and he was awarded the Orange Cap for his amazing season that year. He played a crucial role in CSK’s victory during IPL 2023, helping the team claim their fourth IPL title.
Gaikwad’s career statistics in the IPL remain impressive, providing for a respectable average, while his strike rate seeks to combine aggression with responsibility, Despite a slight dip in his strike-rate, Kedar Jadhav’s knack of building innings while maintaining a healthy run-rate makes him a robust opener for CSK. With the 2025 IPL season fast approaching, both fans and teammates will be expecting yet another masterclass from Gaikwad.
Chennai Super Kings Future Star: Ruturaj Gaikwad
The future looks hugely bright for Ruturaj Gaikwad in Chennai Super Kings. He is one of the most beloved players in Pakistan since many years with very cool personality and stable batting. His steadfast allegiance to CSK has impressed fans, who view him as one of the franchise’s future greats.
As CSK prepares for a new era without Dhoni, Gaikwad is set to be an integral part of the team’s long-term plans. So his performances in IPL 2025 will be crucial not only for this season but also for leadership roles in the future. Gaikwad would have been a valuable occupying piece for CSK given both his experience and consistency, his ability too to handle pressure will have been crucial in ensuring the teams success in future seasons.
Final Thoughts on Ruturaj Gaikwad in IPL 2025
All eyes will be on Ruturaj Gaikwad as the 2025 IPL season rolls over As an opener and a potential future leader of the Chennai Super Kings, he is their most important player. Gaikwad is in the form of his life in IPL and will like to take team CSK to new heights and become the dont miss atmosfera of the tournament.
Gaikwad’s role has always been hugely significant, but in IPL 2025, he is set to take centre stage — not just as a top-order batsman, but as a possible future leader as well. His quiet demeanor, cricketing ability and willingness to fit in with what CSK needs have made him a linchpin of the team’s plans. Whether it is his batting, wicket-keeping, or on-field leadership, every department is set to play a crucial role for Gaikwad in CSK’s success in this season.

[ad_1] Sunil Narine in the practice session for KKR ahead of the IPL 2025 (PC: Debasis Sen) The IPL 2024 ended on May 26. Since then, Sunil Narine has spent his time plying his trade in different T20 leagues, probably collecting his thoughts on a Rs 12-crore retention fee and how to catch the opponents in a spin web, yet again, in this year’s Indian Premier League. The small matter of a T20 World Cup that was played in the United States and the Caribbean last year didn’t woo him enough to come out with his international retirement. Narine is 36. But Kolkata Knight Riders were always going to retain him irrespective of his age. His presence gives the team a supercilious (not in a negative sense) aura, be it in the Powerplay (if needed), middle-overs and/or at the death. When Narine is not taking wickets, he is effecting a spin-choke, making even the biggest hitters in the game gasping for runs unless he is having a bad day. The hard numbers say the Trinidadian has gone wicketless in six of his last 10 T20 matches. From KKR management’s perspective, this shouldn’t be worth even a cursory look. Narine is a different beast in the IPL. KKR played ‘total cricket’ last season to win the title. Bowling-wise, it was the year of Varun Chakravarthy’s resurgence, Harshit Rana’s emergence, Andre Russell’s wicket-taking impact and Mitchell Starc’s firepower, especially at the back end of the tournament. And yet, Narine made the biggest impact, claiming 17 wickets in 14 innings at an economy rate of 6.69, and scoring 488 runs at a strike-rate of 180.74. More on his batting later. Usually a bowler loses his mojo after remodelling his action. Pakistan spinner Saeed Ajmal is a strong case in point. Once he was forced to alter his bowling action after it was reported in 2014, Ajmal lost his cutting edge. An early retirement ensued. Relearning the art of spin bowling is almost an improbable job, for it’s very difficult to erase things from the system that are internalised. Narine remains an aberration. He has remodelled his action several times since 2014-15, when he was first reported in the IPL and international cricket. From then to the IPL 2020, he was reported six times and with every comeback he lost a bit of mystery before being demystified completely. Now the batsmen don’t struggle to read him, but they still can’t get the better of him. Trying to force the pace, they lose their wickets, as Narine revels in his impeccable control. For the Latest Sports News: Click Here Sunil Narine at the Eden Gardens ahead of the IPL 2025 (PC: Debasis Sen) The spinner in his latest avatar doesn’t run through a side. Rather it is death by strangulation and KKR will hope that the process remains unhindered in this year’s IPL as well. Over to Narine the batsman, and perfecting the art of Hail Mary hitting, without ever thinking about getting out. He doesn’t put a price tag on his wicket, which makes the whole thing uncomplicated. Narine needed someone to understand his game, his philosophy towards cricket to be precise. In Gautam Gambhir he got a perfect mentor, who gave him the licence to fail. “GG coming back, he gave me the confidence and assurance that I can open the batting and do a good job,” Narine had said during last year’s IPL. Gambhir has left for greener pastures since, to coach India. But as a new season is about to commence, KKR’s template remains unchanged. Narine will open for the innings, with Quinton de Kock very likely partnering him. Assessing Narine’s current form, both with bat and ball, would be an exercise in futility though, for there is nothing on display as yet. He didn’t play KKR’s first intra-squad game, while rain played spoilsport in the second. But the team’s self-effacing hero is spending extra hours at the nets, turning up for practice sometimes even an hour before the scheduled training sessions. It is that time of the year when he develops the habit of making the ball talk. Also Read: Mumbai Indians: Can the Five-Time Champions End Their Title Drought?

Rajat Patidar was selected captain of the RCB before the 2025 IPL.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has named 31-year-old middle order batsman Rajat Patidar as their skipper for the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. On Thursday, February 13, the franchise made the news during a gathering at the KSCA.
Faf du Plessis, who had led the team in previous seasons, was discharged, leaving the Bengaluru franchise without a captain candidate for the 2025 campaign. The seventh player to lead RCB is Patidar, who earlier this season guided Madhya Pradesh to the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy final.
Regarding his captaincy and recalling the beginning of the leadership discussions, Patidar stated: "I believe I spoke with Mo [Bobat, RCB director of cricket] about this last year. Are you interested in taking on the role of captain? Mo inquired. I therefore informed him that I would prefer to captain the state team before captaining the RCB. I then received a suggestion that I might be promoted to captain. Along with that, I was a little pleased that I could still clearly sense the trip from where I began my IPL career.
Since making his IPL debut in 2021, Patidar has been a member of the team. He has played in 27 games for RCB, scoring 799 runs with a strike rate of 158.85. He can easily dominate pace and spin. He, along with Virat Kohli and Yash Dayal, was one of RCB's three retainers before to the massive auction. It cost INR 11 crore to retain him.
He didn't sell at the auctions, though, after being cut from the team before the 2022 campaign. Due to Luvinth Sisodia's regrettable injury during the 2022 season, Patidar was given another opportunity to play for the RCB as a replacement. With 333 runs in 8 innings, including a century, he left a lasting impact and has since grown to be a vital member of the team.
The Royal Challengers, who have been captained by Virat Kohli and du Plessis throughout the years, are taking a new turn with Patidar's appointment. In May 2011, Kohli took over as captain for the first time, replacing Daniel Vettori, who missed three games. In 2012, he assumed full-time captaincy of the team, a position he held until 2021.

Under Kohli's leadership, RCB qualified for the 2015 playoffs and finished second the following year, during which the star batsman amassed a record 973 runs. In 2020 and 2021, they also made it to the playoffs. In the 2022–24 cycle, when du Plessis took over as captain after Kohli resigned, Royal Challengers also qualified for the playoffs in two of those seasons. While du Plessis was recuperating from a rib injury and only played as an Impact Player, the veteran Indian hitter commanded the team in three games in 2023.
"I could speak for quite a long time about Rajat, but I've settled on three main things that I thought might be interesting to share," Andy Flower, the coach, stated. The first is that Rajat exudes a composure and simplicity that I believe will be very helpful as a captain and leader, especially in the IPL. As is well known, the IPL is one of the world's top contests, and as such, it comes with pressure. And in the early stages of that event, I believe Rajat's natural calm and straightforward manner will work to his advantage.
"And, like all of our decisions, his will be put to the test, but I believe these traits will serve him well. We extensively observed Rajat throughout his time as Madhya Pradesh's captain in the Syed Mushtaq Ali competition, and we were impressed by his attributes. My second observation about him is that, although he is naturally a quiet person, he shows concern for others around him.
"The guys he plays with and shares a dressing room with are important to him. And in my opinion, that is a quality that indicates that he will immediately be respected and cared for by others. As a leader, those attributes are crucial because they inspire followers to follow and support you. After that, the third thing that strikes me about him is that he has a steeliness, strength, and tenacity.
"I've personally witnessed it happen when I try to instruct him in the nets and he refuses to listen. However, it's evident in his playing style. "You can see how courageous he is when playing the game," Flower continued. And I believe that he has a characteristic that will be crucial for him to endure the ups and downs that are unavoidable when playing in the IPL and now taking on the role of captain of a major IPL team for another year. Therefore, I believe that Rajat will benefit much from those attributes. We are aware of them.

The IPL Orange Cap and the Impact on Players
The IPL Orange Cap not only brings individual glory but also boosts the player's career, often making them the center of attention in global cricket. Securing the Orange Cap is a significant milestone for any player. It enhances their marketability, boosts their confidence, and solidifies their status as one of the best in the game.
For young players, winning the IPL Orange Cap can be a game-changer, helping them secure lucrative contracts with top franchises in future seasons or even a place in the national team. For established players, the cap serves as a reminder of their continued dominance in T20 cricket.
Platforms Like Indibet and 96in Engage IPL Fans
As IPL fans eagerly follow the season, platforms like Indibet and 96in provide ways for fans to engage even further with the tournament. Indibet, for instance, offers a variety of cricket-related betting options, where fans can place wagers on match outcomes, top run-scorers, and even the IPL Orange Cap holder. This adds an extra layer of excitement for those who enjoy analyzing the game and testing their predictions.
Similarly, 96in offers a unique user experience with live stats, match predictions, and fantasy cricket leagues. These platforms enable fans to engage with the IPL in new and exciting ways, making the experience more interactive and enjoyable. From match insights to real-time updates, platforms like these enhance the viewing experience for fans worldwide.
IPL Winners and Their Orange Cap Journey
The relationship between the IPL Orange Cap and the IPL Winners is an interesting one. Often, the team with the highest run-scorer in the league enjoys a good chance of winning the IPL. Players who have consistently topped the run charts have often been part of championship-winning teams, though it isn’t always a guarantee. For instance, in 2020, while KL Rahul won the Orange Cap, his team, Kings XI Punjab, did not make it to the playoffs, highlighting how individual brilliance does not always translate to team success.
The balance between individual performances and team dynamics is a fascinating aspect of the IPL, and the IPL Orange Cap serves as a reminder of the importance of consistent run-scoring in the high-pressure environment of T20 cricket.
Conclusion
The IPL Orange Cap is one of the most sought-after individual awards in the IPL, symbolizing batting excellence and consistency. As the IPL 2025 season progresses, the race for the Orange Cap promises to be as thrilling as ever, with numerous players vying for the title of the league’s top run-scorer. Fans will be keeping a close eye on the Orange Cap list, tracking their favorite players’ performances.
Platforms like Indibet and 96in add a unique dimension to the IPL experience, allowing fans to engage more deeply with the tournament. The IPL Orange Cap continues to be a source of pride for players, and in 2025, the competition for this coveted prize will undoubtedly intensify, making it an exciting season to watch.

Outdoor Power Equipment Market 2030 Trends, Growth, Revenue, Outlook and Future Estimation
The global outdoor power equipment market was valued at USD 46.53 billion in 2021 and is projected to grow significantly, reaching USD 76.61 billion by 2030, expanding at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.9% from 2022 to 2030. This growth can largely be attributed to the increasing demand for cordless outdoor power equipment, as more consumers are seeking flexibility, convenience, and portability in their tools. Cordless tools eliminate the need for constant recharging through outlets, making them ideal for outdoor activities, particularly in larger spaces like gardens and lawns.
Furthermore, the growing popularity of home improvement projects and a surge in gardening activities bode well for the market during the forecast period. The global trend toward enhancing homes, especially during the pandemic, has led to increased spending on outdoor tools, boosting the demand for both outdoor power equipment and garden tools. Companies like The Toro Company, Husqvarna, ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG, and others experienced significant profits from this trend as people spent more time at home, contributing to extended gardening seasons.
The outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 initially had a negative impact on many industries worldwide, including the outdoor power equipment market. The early months of the pandemic saw disruptions in production, supply chains, and consumer purchasing behavior. However, as restrictions eased and industries resumed operations, demand for various outdoor power equipment surged, particularly as people turned to gardening and outdoor projects to occupy their time at home. Additionally, a notable increase in the market for Do-it-yourself (DIY) equipment and Do-it-for-me (DIFM) services in both commercial and residential segments is expected to further fuel market growth in the coming years.

North America Outdoor Power Equipment Market Trends
North America held a significant portion of the global outdoor power equipment market, accounting for 34.91% of the total share in 2021. The region’s growth can be attributed to its large geographical area, which supports more extensive outdoor spaces like gardens and lawns compared to more densely populated regions. This larger area naturally leads to an increased demand for outdoor power equipment, as homeowners and businesses need tools for lawn care, gardening, and landscaping. Additionally, government investment in infrastructure is expected to contribute to the market's growth. For instance, in 2022, the Canadian government allocated USD 1.5 billion to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation to expand its rapid housing initiative, which focuses on building more homes. As new communities are developed, the demand for landscaping tools and outdoor power equipment is expected to grow.
Asia Pacific Outdoor Power Equipment Market Trends
The Asia Pacific market is expected to witness the highest growth rate during the forecast period, with an anticipated CAGR of 6.5%. This rapid growth is driven by several factors, including rising disposable income and changing lifestyles in emerging economies like India and China. Moreover, the region hosts numerous annual sports events, including the Indian Premier League (IPL), World Baseball Classic, Asian Games, and other major sporting events.
