You’re so cute and precious. Not as smoking hot or pretty as many of his plastic-fake co-stars but he’s drawn to you, like a bee to honey. 

◾ Yandere! Actor who is not shy when it comes to showing his heavy interest for you.

A part of you realizes how much of a red flag he is and you just hope he doesn’t turn out to be those superstars that take advantage of younger actresses. 

But strangely enough, he appears to be fully content in just listening to you, asking you a million questions about your life and about your interests, hobbies,...

You feel a tinge of awkwardness as he inches closer to you, devotedly drinking up each word that comes out of your glossed lips as if he’s enamored with your voice.

He completely disregards your feelings and oversteps boundaries, frequently making you extremely uncomfortable when he yells at the staff because your morning coffee was slightly cold or because someone didn’t put your trailer right next to his.

Despite feeling so bad for the low-ranking staff members, you feel grateful enough that you’re not on the receiving end of his anger. 

◾ Yandere! Actor that acts like you’re both in a committed relation when the promotions start. During interviews, you’re stunned in the realization that he is very much invested in acting like there is something secret going on between you.

The intimate placement of his hand on your thigh, those intense looks he gives you, the way he incessantly compliments and overates your acting skills. Draping his arm around your shoulder, being a sweetheart to you.

It shouldn’t even be a surprise as fans start to ship you, the two of you becoming the new hot topic of the internet and much to your surprise, your movie is a commercial hit.

All because everyone wants to see your chemistry on the big screen. 

◾ Yandere! Actor who one night, during a red carpet, takes the chance to confide to you that he loves you. And right there, in front of all the cameras, he gets down on one knee and pulls the prettiest diamond ring.

Barely even waits for your stumbling answer, before pushing the tight ring down your finger, making you his. 

And if you try to deny him, trust me, he can show a side of him that you won’t like.

the five times neuvillette knew he loved you

The first instance was when he saw you making a routine out of regularly interacting amongst the Melusine with nothing but care, practically treating them like your own children. The Melusine are virtually your favorite people in Fontaine, besides him of course. You’re always sure to greet them, never messing up their pronouns, and giving them presents on their birthdays. It is also a common occurrence for you to give them handmade lunches. The first time Neuvillette saw you in the Palais Mermonia, giving Sedene a handmade lunch his heart swelled with affection for you, the sweetest person he has ever had the privilege of meeting. He watched you in admiration, speculating that this feeling in his chest must be love developing for you. 

Secondly, is how you taste water with him despite how silly everyone thinks it is. You never fail to cooperate with tasting different waters, assuring him that you can in fact taste the difference, even going so far as to pick a favorite to make him happy by participating in his hobby. You even created a hierarchy ranking system just to rank which waters you like, and which you don’t. Neuvillette loves when you engage in the hobby of water tasting with him, and he thinks he’d wouldn’t rather share this with anyone else but you, because no one else is more worthy of drinking the more expensive speciality bottled waters he has. He thinks, “Maybe I love her and that is why I wish so much to share my hobby with her?”

Thirdly, was the first time you bid him goodbye when he left for work in the morning. He had spent the night at your house for the first time as well, and waking up to you the next morning was almost the sweetest part of everything that happened. You practically begged him to stay for the day, to blow off work- even though you know he really can’t. He could not help but giggle over how clingy you are in the morning, after you’ve just woken up. This already had warm feelings stirring within him, but then… when he was about to head for the door, that is what had his heart wanting to burst out of his chest. You stopped him before he walked out, kissing him on the cheek and fixing his crooked collar. The moment was so sweet and domestic. He felt heat rising on his cheeks as you walked him out the door telling him that you’d bring him lunch later. As he walked the rest of the way to the Palais Mermonia, his thoughts were only filled with you, replaying that moment in his head and thinking, “is this what love truly feels like?”

Fourthly, was when Charlotte asked him about you during an interview. Charlotte finally got that interview she wanted with Neuvillette, and she just had to get the hottest scoop on him. She asked him many work related related questions, but she couldn't not ask him about you after she saw the two of you together- she needs a good story! She asked him, “So, Monsieur Neuvillette, I saw you at the cafe with a woman a few days ago, care to tell me who that was?” and Neuvillette’s face immediately lights up at the mention of you, he goes, “oh, that is my beloved��” He practically goes on a rant saying sweet things about you, but he catches what he is doing and cuts himself off with a clearing of his throat as his face starts to go pink. Charlotte is standing there smiling at him widely and she says to him, “You sure seem to like her a lot don’t you?” Neuvillette does not hesitate to answer, “yes, I think it is safe to say I like her a lot, perhaps I am even growing to love her…” knowing it will be the top story in the Steambird newspaper within a few days that Fontaine’s one and only chief justice has found a lover. 

The fifth and final instance was the first time you comforted him after a hard trial. Since the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale is no longer working due to recent events, he has taken charge of deciding people's verdicts on his own. Which, as you can imagine, is a draining task- especially when a criminal’s charges are of a sensitive matter. One day, after a particularly hard case, that hurt him to have to sentence the person as guilty… all he wanted was to be in your company. He showed up at your doorstep in the pouring rain, his clothes soaked completely through. Of course, you immediately rushed him inside and gave him a change of clothing. While he was changing, you threw a pot of tea on the stove for him- and he couldn’t be more thankful for you. He quietly drank his tea in your company to warm up after being chilled to the bone from rain soaked clothing, and you stayed with him not forcing him to talk about what was wrong until he was ready. When he was ready to talk, he tugged you along to your bed to cuddle with you. For once, you held him as he spilled his hardships from the day, the rain outside never letting up; however, he quickly settled into the comfort you gave him, growing to feel at ease- and that is when he knew. He loves you, with every fiber of his being. So, he finally says, “I love you with all my heart.” and all you can do is reply that you feel the same, holding him tighter.

I put the zine I made last year on my website. It took me a full year to find a permanent home for it, because I have the brainweird that makes the focus bad, and I’ve been consistently busy since last year. But hey, better late than never.

This project was inspired by the work of Potawatomi botanist Robin Wall Kimmerer. During an interview with On Being, Kimmerer relates the story of a certain question that she asks her students:

“In talking with my environment students, they wholeheartedly agree that they love the earth. But when I ask them the question of “Does the earth love you back?” there’s a great deal of hesitation and reluctance and eyes cast down, like, oh, gosh, I don’t know. Are we even allowed to talk about that? That would mean that the earth had agency and that I was not an anonymous little blip on the landscape, that I was known by my home place.

So it’s a very challenging notion, but I bring it to the garden and think about the way that when we, as human people, demonstrate our love for one another, it is in ways that I find very much analogous to the way that the earth takes care of us, is when we love somebody, we put their wellbeing at the top of a list and we want to feed them well. We want to nurture them. We want to teach them. We want to bring beauty into their lives. We want to make them comfortable and safe and healthy. That’s how I demonstrate love, in part, to my family, and that’s just what I feel in the garden [laughs], as the earth loves us back in beans and corn and strawberries. Food could taste bad. It could be bland and boring, but it isn’t. There are these wonderful gifts that the plant beings, to my mind, have shared with us. And it’s a really liberating idea to think that the earth could love us back, but it also opens the notion of reciprocity that with that love and regard from the earth comes a real deep responsibility.”

I posed Kimmerer’s question to some of my online circles. Their responses are recorded in this zine, accompanied by the work of many photographers, and my own art.

I am many of thoughts and short of words right now, just as I was a year ago. Mostly I’m tremendously touched and grateful for those who participated. You have put words to environmental grief that I often struggle to articulate, and affirmed my belief that we all hold poetry inside of us—we just need the time and space to express it.

We decided to bring together pairs of ex-lovers, iconic and famous all around the world, for a little Q&A. Welcome to Exes and Oh’s! Our special guests for today are none other than Isagi Yoichi and Y/n L/n! A pair whom the public deem as the biggest cliché. From being introduced to each other since childhood, to becoming high school sweethearts, their relationship was as adorable as it was tooth-rottingly sweet! They were, according to netizens, the definition of #relationshipgoals. But as they warn, not everything is at it seems, for the couple went into radio silence, no mentions or sighting with each other, until they suddenly announced their split!

###. WHAT IS YOUR NAME AND YOUR EX’S NAME? (Introduction)

“My name is Y/n L/n, a food vlogger on my YouTube where people know me as ‘Y/n.eats’, and my ex’s name is Isagi Yoichi”

“I’m Isagi Yoichi, lead vocalist of ‘EGOIST/S’, and my ex is food vlogger Y/n L/n.”

#1. What was your favorite aspect about the other person?

“For me, it was always how Yoichi knew me the best.”

“He knew how I liked certain flavors more than others so he always got those kinds whenever he bought snacks. He knew how I sometimes forgot to eat whenever I was so focused on studying, so he set an alarm to remind me.”

“How do you think he kept up with all of your likes and dislikes?”

You snicker as you reply, “Don’t tell him, but I kinda caught him with a list of them on his phone. But for some, I’d like to think he knew by heart. Like knowing me was muscle memory.”

Unbeknownst to the audience, the camera crew behind were aw-ing at the thought and even sharing knowing looks. And if anyone were ever to mention the loving smile on your face, then you'd have to answer to that. It's their job after all, isn't it?

"Y/n? Have you seen my phone anywhere?" Yoichi asks from a few rooms over. The noise you must've heard a while ago was most probably him. "I'll check!" Getting up from the spot on your shared bed, you check the bedside drawers.

A familiar blue case with a Polaroid picture met your eyes. You'd found it. You were just about to yell that you had it when a notification from a familiar number caught your eye. One of your favorite restaurants.

Curious, you decide to open it, only for the screen to show with Yoichi's notes app. The particular note is numbered one to three with your top three restaurants, even containing a bulleted list under each one listing out what you liked from there.

When you scroll down, there are more lists and checkboxes, all in the same format ranging from tourist spots, ice cream flavors, snacks, brands, and whatever. Your heart warms at the sight. It doesn't help that he has a list of your dislikes and allergies too.

There's a knock on the doorway and you're quick to turn the phone off. Luckily, your back was facing the door. "Hey, I was just about to tell you I found it." Sighing in relief, he quickly approaches you, peppering your face with kisses. "Thanks, baby."

"I should be thanking you."

He blankly stares. His head tilts and inside his mind, he's running through every single surprise he had planned on his phone. He's just about to panic when you caress his cheek with a lovesick smile, "So, we're going somewhere tonight then?"

He relaxes in your hold and laughs. You don't get off easy though. He's quick to jump on you, tickling your sides, "How much did you see, hm?" You've fallen down on the bed, him leaning over you with a toothy grin on his face.

"Yoichi—! Stop!"

"Not until you tell me how much you saw!"

"I just saw the notification—! Stop it!" There are tears in your eyes when he pulls away and you're heaving. He chuckles at your state and you can't help but playfully smack his chest. Breathless, you crack a defeated but amused smile, "Now will you let me go?"

"And why would I do that?"

"Unless you don't want me to get ready for our date tonight then be my guest." He's never let go of you so quickly in his life.

#1. What was your favorite aspect about the other person?

▶ PLAYING: ISAGI YOICHI

He thinks for a while, “She always knew what to do in different situations. I’ve always admired her for it.”

“Could you elaborate for us?”

“She knows exactly what to say, what to do, and she especially knew what to eat. ”

“You’d just be having a bad day and she’s suddenly setting the table with the comforting smell that reminds you of your mother's cooking but better —he nervously chuckles— sorry mom."

The crew behind the camera laughs alongside him, "She was just— Her existence in and out of itself brought me comfort."

Isagi Yoichi doesn't know if he's had this bad of a day ever in his life. Yes, he's exaggerating, but his day was just that shitty. He wasn't playing on the level he usually was, his teammates weirdly ticked him off no matter what they did, and he just couldn't think. He has an inkling why. No, he knows exactly why.

The events of the previous night flash in his head one by one. Him arriving at your shared apartment late at night, and you, awake and grumpy, sitting on the couch. He recalls the arguing, and then you sleeping in the guest bedroom.

Then came the overthinking as he laid on your supposed-to-be shared bed, alone. It's always been a weakness of his. That he looks too much into things. It's something he's admitted himself.

It's the next day now, and when he opens the door, he expects silence. Maybe you'd gone to a friend's or just stayed away from the place, but he was surprised to smell the scent of Tonkatsu floating around. His stomach growls and he's swiftly walking to the kitchen.

His heart lifts up when he sees you setting the table. You two meet eyes for the first time in a few hours and he feels like everything's much clearer now.

With a partly opened mouth, he's about to spit out his apologies and essays but you send him a pointed look and he gets the message. He's sat and digging into his food, with you right across from him. Yoichi speaks up first, "I'm sorry."

You don't look impressed and he thinks you're still mad until you speak up. "I forgive you, but please don't talk with your mouth full." He blinks, swallows, then lets out a boisterous laugh.

The tension in his shoulders disappears along with the wrinkle in his brow. The sight makes you smile. "We can talk about it later, right now, I think I just want to pamper my boyfriend who obviously had a stick up his ass the whole day."

He rolls his eyes, "Which one of the guys told you?"

"All of them."

"Snitches."

"Barou was complaining the most though, saying how you were so snappy, your plays were so boring, how you weren't even worth paying attention to on the field." You list out the king's complaints, holding back your laughter at his betrayed expression.

He softens up though when you wipe the mess on his lips, "M'always going to be proud of you, baby."

He's suddenly reminded that if the day ends with you, then there's no possibility it'll ever be shitty.

#2. How did you break it to your friends and family?

▶ PLAYING: Y/N L/N

“Friends, it wasn’t that climactic. But for our parents, —you wince— it was hard, especially since I practically grew up with his family alongside mine."

"There was this sort of understood agreement between everyone in our families that we were going to end up together at some point.”

A fond smile appears on your face, "His mother started to call me her daughter-in-law as a joke which just kept running through the years.” You chuckle, and it dies down to a sigh, “To me, they were already family, always have been, ever since the beginning.”

▶ PLAYING: ISAGI YOICHI

“For my friends, I sort of just slipped it in a conversation. For our parents though, they were kinda devastated. You’d think it was their relationship! —he laughs— but then again, I remember how they were so excited when we told them.”

Isagi smiles sadly, a faraway look in his eyes. Now conscious of his expression, he immediately perks up, “Did you know they even bet on when we’d make it official?”

"What's with the set-up Yoichi?" Iyo Isagi, his mother asks. "Right, you two seem so tense." Your mother quips, sitting on a sofa with your father across from Yoichi's parents. Meanwhile, you and Yoichi are on single seaters, the distance painfully obvious to no one but you two.

You avoid their eyes, having them wander along the Isagi household. The halls you used to run around with him, the kitchen you'd always sneak into when the two of you were hungry, the TV where you cried over your shows while Yoichi sat next to you with tissues, water, and a smile that just said 'What am I going to do with you?'

"Mom,—he starts— Y/n and I had a serious conversation about this and we've made our decision." Your heart drops when both of your moms lock eyes and you can almost imagine the sparkles around the two of them.

"Are you two finally engaged?!" They chorus. Your dads let out noises of complaint, "Looks like we lost this bet too, Issei." Your dad huffs and Issei Isagi, Yoichi's dad, lets out a defeated smile. It's a different story for the both of you though.

You're horrified at their excitement while Yoichi feels a lump in his throat. And while he doesn't have it with him, the weight of the ring he bought felt like it was dragging him down. "No, Mom, we're not engaged...nor will we be..." They visibly deflate at the last part, now staring in confusion.

"Mom, Dad, Y/n and I have decided to break up."

#3. At some point, did you ever feel like you were holding the other back?

▶ PLAYING Y/N L/N:

“Ah…”

There’s a pressure that lands a hit in your chest, a bitterness that rises from your throat. “Well, obviously being in a band or pursuing music isn’t easy. It was manageable at first since they were just doing small gigs and all, but then they went on international tours and then it just… I think we bit off more than we could chew.” The smile you give is bitter and painful.

“How so?”

“There was the time difference, the distance, the doubt—” Your voice dies off quietly, “the guilt…”

“But y’know, we had our own separate lives and at that point, I guess we just had to figure out who we were when we were separated. Yoichi went on to become a musician famous all around the world, while I did what I loved and began vlogging.”

“I think that feeling...it’s when I saw him onstage in person that I realized. There was that lingering feeling that, maybe we were just supposed to end on different paths. He was born to be on the world stage, to be a star."

"But then I thought, next to him, what would I be? And the thought came up that maybe, I was baggage.”

You don't know how long it's been since your boyfriend haphazardly rang the doorbell and barged into your hotel room. You don't know how he managed to do it unnoticed either. But all that mattered in that moment was that he was there, in your arms, physically with you.

"Yoichi?" A tired groan vibrates through you, his face buried in the crook of your neck. "What brought this on? Weren't you supposed to be staying at the hotel near the venue?"

"Just wanted to see you." Your fingers thread through his dark hair. It's peaceful and serene, in the dim light of your hotel room, his shoes and a bag that was messily packed, lying near the doorway. The smell of his signature cologne floods your nose.

Yet there's this weird feeling in your stomach. A feeling that warns you, reminds you that in the morning he's going to disappear again. Not literally. But he's going to be on the world stage. And it hits you then that you're scared. Terrified, even, that he might go to where you can't follow.

But then you think, doesn't he deserve that much and more? The boy who you learned how to bike with, the boy who always came with you to buy snacks, the boy who was your other half, the boy who always gushed and dreamed about standing tall, on a bigger, brighter stage.

And when he wakes you up before the sun rises, gathers his things, and kisses you goodbye, you're left in the hotel room, stuck with the uneasy and sinking feeling, that he left you behind again.

#3. At some point, did you ever feel like you were holding the other back?

▶ PLAYING: ISAGI YOICHI

“When we first got big, a lot of the staff were surprised cause I apparently adapted really easily, but that didn’t stay the same with other people. Y/n…she had to sacrifice a lot to support me.”

“Really? Like what?”

“She missed out on a few classes to go to gigs, traveled hours just to meet up with me, and always made sure to check in every single day."

The expression on his face becomes strained, "Out of college, she traveled everywhere with me which is why she resorted to vlogging since staying in one place wasn’t an option. Honestly, I messed up a lot as a boyfriend.”

“Why do you think so?”

“I missed important dates cause of events or touring, and I just—she didn’t deserve someone who couldn’t even be there to act as a boyfriend in the first place.”

The clocks around the establishment look like they're mocking Isagi. Obviously, they're not, but to him, it surely feels like it. It's been almost three hours since the time he promised he would meet up with you, and he's only just arrived.

The little restaurant gives a homey feel, with warm lighting, and trinkets around every corner. They're already closing up, evident by the clatter the staff is making behind the counter. Standing right by the cashier though, is a grandma he vividly remembers visiting every week as a child with you.

"Yoichi? Is that you? Oh my goodness it is! Come, come!" So now here he ended up, a bowl of her specially made ramen for a very special customer or so she says. "Y'know, my grandchildren are really big fans of yours! You've really made a name for yourself haven't you?"

He chuckles, embarrassed at the flattery. "Oh I remember when you were younger and you and little Y/n would always enter the shop together, ordering the same thing, and sitting at the same pair of seats every time." And just when his mood was lifting up.

"She was here a while ago, poor girl looked a little upset." She suddenly looks at him sternly, "You better have not done anything, young man." He gulps and nods.

It was partly true. He didn't do anything, didn't try to insist on getting out of the meeting or the surprise fan meet-up, which landed him in his current predicament. "Honestly, everyone had high expectations for that girl, which is why it was surprising to see her doing something like food vlogging.”

She chuckles, "Always encouraged her to go into medicine, that one, so she could help me when I got old haha! Well, to each their own."

Everyone always had their expectations for you, but what was your dream? Have you ever expressed what you wanted to do? In all his years of knowing you, Yoichi couldn't remember. You've always put others first. Your friends, your parents, Him.

The thought sent Yoichi reeling, glaring at his food like it'd just committed a crime. To each their own indeed, but did you really have a choice?

Georgia Lawmakers To Rein In Aggressive Home Owners Associations After Hearing Homeowner Horror Stories – Atlanta Georgia reporting

You can be up to date on your mortgage, never missed a loan payment, and lose your home to foreclosure by your Homeowners Association.

▶︎ Each month Karyn Gibbons mailed a check for HOA dues on her Gwinnett County condo to the address provided in writing at closing. But she said she never knew when or if it would be cashed.

“It was just random. I mean there’d be two, three, four, five months go in between checks being cashed,” said Gibbons. Then out of the blue she was served with a notice of foreclosure by her Home Owners Association, with late fees and thousands of dollars in attorney fees.

She owed more than $30,000.

“Did you even know you could be foreclosed on by an HOA?” Gray asked Gibbons.

“No. Never heard of it,” Gibbons said.

▶︎ “It’s totally insane. It’s totally insane,” said Tricia Quigley, a former Cherokee County homeowner.

She learned it can happen the hard way.

When Quigley’s Cherokee County home of 18 years was sold at foreclosure on the courthouse steps for about the amount of spare change on her coffee table as Gray interviewed her.

“It went for $3.25,” Quigley said.

She admitted she did not pay two of her biannual homeowner association dues payments totaling $800.

She ended up paying more than $10,000 trying to get right with the HOA but the late fees and attorney fees kept growing.

“I kept thinking I paid all this money; how come it’s not stopping?” Quigley said.

A big reason is attorney costs.

Every email, every inquiry, every attempt to contest, fix, or even pay the overdue bill adds to the bill.

Channel 2 Action News checked foreclosure records and found that ▶︎ just two metro Atlanta law firms that specialize in representing HOAs have filed 279 notices seeking damage and foreclosure notices in just the past three years.

By the time Juliet Graham finally sold her downtown Atlanta condo her HOA bill had reached $250,000.

“You broke us. We’re broke,” Graham said.

“I can’t imagine the mafia having been any worse than what my experience was with this,” Graham said.

State Senator Donzella James, a Democrat who represents South Fulton County, introduced multiple bills this legislative session trying to reign in overly aggressive HOAs.

“People need to be protected and safeguarded against foreclosures,” said State Senator James.

“This is where I resodded the whole thing,” said James McAdoo, a homeowner in South Fulton County.

The only way he could stop his HOA from intercepting his paycheck was by filing for bankruptcy.

“They garnished my wages,” McAdoo said.

He owes $36,000 and counting predominantly because of weeds in his front yard.

They were garnishing $600 from his paycheck every two weeks until he started the bankruptcy process.

“What way do you see out of this?” Gray asked McAdoo.

“Selling my home and just getting out of this neighborhood,” McAdoo said.

That is what Karyn Gibbons did earlier this year even though she still does not believe she did anything wrong.

“I just said enough. I can’t do it anymore,” Gibbons said.

She paid $34,000 in fines, interest, and attorney fees to end the nightmare.

“I don’t know how it’s legal,” Gibbons said.

And it’s not just happening to homeowners. Gray also spoke with a couple who said just because they were renting a home, they were not safe from an HOA.

Jasmine Latson and Jaquan Hunter said their HOA in their South Fulton neighborhood came after them over the condition of their yard.

They ended up hiring a lawn service to take care of everything. But that wasn’t enough for the HOA.

“I was like, maybe it’s me. Maybe I’m not doing good enough, I don’t know. So I went ahead and just hired an outside resource that my neighbor used. He’s been pretty consistent and good, but the fines keep happening,” Latson said.

Last year, they received a foreclosure letter saying the home’s owners owed fines and fees of more than $23,000.

“Never, never in a million years would I have thought that I would have would be dealing with this. You know? I pay my rent every month,” Latson said.

First Key Homes, Latson, and Hunter’s landlord negotiated down the fines to about $12,000 to prevent foreclosure. But the company has now passed that bill onto the couple along with an eviction notice.

Latson has fired an attorney and has a court date set for Friday.

Now, these renters are hoping state lawmakers can do something about these aggressive HOAs.

▶︎ A bipartisan bill sponsored by state senator and Rules Committee Chair Matt Brass, a Republican representing Newnan, did pass at the Gold Dome this year to create a study committee examining how to change laws to better protect homeowners.

Brass told Gray the No. 1 topic on the study committee’s agenda will be HOA foreclosures that he said are taking families’ generational wealth.

“To have some outside group come and take that away from me is again, it’s un-American. And we’re not going to stand for it in this state,” Brass said.

Several states have put in place laws limiting HOA foreclosure.

Licking his lips, he swallowed an invisible lump his throat.

Taking a deep breathe he gives a nervous laugh, looking down at his feet before returning them back to the interviewer and camera. "Sorry, I'm nervous. I haven't really given a lot of interviews." Eun-Wol admits, ears turning pink. His left hand reaching up and rubbing his ear, as if that could make the color disappear. "I would have started my training sooner, but I was doing my military service with my twin. He wanted to get it out of the way, and I hadn't signed with a company. But at least they don't have to worry about me taking a break for service right?" He laughs softly. "Oh yes the second question. Idols make people happy, so it is only natural to want to be an idol." He drops his hand, folding it neatly in his lap. "Did you have any more questions? I answered them correctly right?"

🎤 Interview: ‘Alien warrior’ B.A.P “Blonde, it doesn’t suit…”

“Warrior gives courage as a highlight of the song. It gives courage to the one in their 10′s and 20′s.”

Tough rookie group B.A.P has arrived with six members, Bang Yongguk (22), ZELO (16), Himchan (22), Daehyun (19), Youngjae (18), Jongup (17).

Their first single album ‘워리어(Warrior)’ was released on the 26th last month sold out 10,000 copies two days after release. Hitting the World Billboard chart at number 10, having a crowd of 3,000 for their debut showcase stage and broadcasted for 1 hour on a cable show. Fan-cafe has exceeded 20,000 members just 3 weeks after debuting.

Deserved to be called ‘Super Rookies’. Group name stands for 베스트(Best)-앱솔루트(Absolute)-퍼펙트(Perfect).

▶ Underground Hip Hop Musician, Traditional Music… all joined together

“Hello. I am Bang Yongguk. I participated in making the lyrics for this album.” and the other members introduced themselves after that.

“My hobbies are rap beat-boxing, and I like to go skateboarding as well. I think that it will give strength to your thighs.” (ZELO)

“Majoring in traditional music. Knows how to play the guitar, piano and drum. Into korean traditional music(恨). But I like both traditional music and African-American music.” (Himchan)

“Is from Busan. Trying a lot to fix my accent. It was hard at first but at the end, getting used to the Seoul dialect.” (Daehyun)

“I’m going to show an impersonation. I will follow what appeared in Gag Concert by Choi HyoJong-ssi. Ae-mae-hab-ni-da-ing~!” (Youngjae)

“I like to dance and, my hobby is listening to music. My favorite type of dancing is street dancing. Among them, I like b-boy. Have been dancing since first year of middle school.” (Jongup)

Bang Yongguk was part of a famous hiphop musician in Hongdae. Was the first B.A.P member introduced through Untouchable sunbae a year and a half ago. Then was joined by traditional music and model Himchan, Daehyun from Busan, dancer Jongup, Emotional vocalist Youngjae and maknae ZELO. B.A.P practiced together for about a year. They’ve been practicing 16 hours in a day prior to their debut.

This album’s title track ‘Warrior’ has an intense beat and talking about social criticism in their lyric. Bang Yongguk’s bass rap that blends in with ZELO’s high-speed rap, Jongup’s splendid dance, vocalist Daehyun and Youngjae and Himchan’s unexpected level of vocal ability.

Reminding us of 1990′s popular group H.O.T.’s ‘Warrior’s Descendant’. Kangta, Moon Heejun, Jang Woohyeok, Tony Ahn, Lee Jaewon who were representating the Korean wave.

“It’s an honor to be compared with H.O.T. Idols nowadays have a sweet-boyfriend images. We want to be different from other group and not include ourselves in the same plot.” (Yongguk)

When asked if they can go beyond H.O.T., Himchan said “It would be more than enough to go beyond them”. Bang Yongguk added “So we want to work harder”.

▶ The stage collapsing incident, “Come one more time”

In the chorus part ‘Warrior’ there is a part where they stomp. Once during a music program pre-recording, the stage floor could not handle the dance and collapsed.

“The sound of the foot was like the New Zealand Maori warrior. It was really powerful and I would like the stage to collapse once more in the future. I didn’t mean to do it but the dance is meant to have a powerful strength in it.” (Yongguk)

The secret to the powerful dance is “bapsim (A traditional Korean meal which consists of rice and side dishes),” said Youngjae.

“We practiced for the showcase at 4:00AM the day before it. The boss gave us meat and rice to eat then went to sleep till the morning. It’s not that we don’t want to eat the meat but, since it came from the boss it’s precious.” (Youngjae), “A person eats in about 2-3 minutes.” (Yongguk)

Called the ‘Big Rookies’ as soon as you debuted. Do you feel pressured?

“At first, it was the burden to think of how the 3,000 seats to be filled for the showcase.” (Daehyun)

“I was surprised. I was touched to see that there was that much people who wanted to see us. We felt good after knowing that all our efforts would be put into a good use. We will show you a better image from us. The press have also showed interest in our efforts” (Yongguk)

Right now we have successfully got through our debut stage safely but, a singer has gone through a tough road and obstacles.

“At first, I went to a local broadcasting talent show (Jeollanam-do, Mokpo). I formed a team with my friends and we wanted to do both rapping and dancing. We joined in as the Game Item. It was in my 4th year of elementary school. The stage literally exploded. My parents was against it at first but they saw the passion in me later on.” (ZELO)

“I wanted to join Music Academy but they needed a 30 point average grade or more. I had a bet with my mom about the test scores. In my 3rd year of Middle School, I scored 43 points for my mid-term and 80 points for my finals.” (Youngjae)

“I am a part of a Hongdae Club since my 3rd year of Middle School, performing hip hop in the streets. I went from being a hip hop artist to being an idol singer, I was determined to take up such a sight. Even if I change little by little, I will prove to you.” (Yongguk)

“Right now near the company in Hannam-dong a ‘luxurious’ 4-floor villa is where we live.” (Himchan), “On the 4 floor villa we used to live in the basement, I was glad that we live on the 4th floor. That’s why it’s luxurious.” (Yongguk), “Living underground was fun. All of it was good memories.” (Himchan)

▶ Fashion of the alien warrior…“The face is too dark showing sadness”

B.A.P’s blonde hair is the focus, and wore army suits as they go on stage. They look like they’ve come out from a Japanese manga Dragonball with an alien warrior atmosphere. They’ve showed a concept of an alien ready to conquer the earth through their showcase.

“For a cable program, we appear as aliens. Our hairs are dyed to give a more alien look.” (Youngjae)

“As rookies, our hairs were dyed blonde to show an atmosphere that we are one team.” (Daehyun)

But with ‘Power of Blonde’, the members of the team feels like they don’t have an individual personality.

“Sometimes fans cant tell who is who. Music broadcast camera director also gets confused.” (Youngjae), “I knew I was supposed to dye my hair. Looking in the mirror, I wanted to say ‘This dye doesn’t suit me. There is also a black Korean!’.” (Himchan)

Because of the blonde color it makes the skin looks darker to the hyungs and unlike ZELO who is smiling brightly. “Everyone says it is me who suits the blonde. I believe I do too.” (ZELO), “Back then, I don’t see it suits anyone.” (Himchan)

To give a feeling of warrior, your eyes are covered in dark make up. “It’s hard to wash away the eye-make up. I’m learning how to erase them.” (Himchan)

Members who wants the group to specialize in music, fashion and dance.

“Our dream is to be a global group. There is where we came out with ‘Conquer the Earth’, so we are going to work hard. In 2012, our wish is to win the Rookie Award in the Award Ceremony. Please cheer on us.” (All)

Fluffy Butler Headcanons [Ingo]

▶ Ingo is a shining example of a perfect butler. You had a good feeling when you hired him, and especially when you had a private interview with him. Standing straight, heels together, chin held high, cleanly dressed and well groomed, and his manner of speaking was refined and showed his training clearly. He’ll wait outside your study until you call for him, where he’ll enter the moment he’s needed. He’s always exceptionally polite and bows courteously to his Lady. Something he’ll only do for you, of course.

▶ In that same vein he considers it exceptionally rude to make his Lady crane her neck or bend uncomfortably for any task. He’ll kneel, where he gets to enjoy how beautiful and elegant his Lady looks, looking up at her. He also refuses to let her crane for books or bend over for anything, and his stiff demeanor disappears in an instant if he’s trying to stop you from kneeling in the dust for the third time today.

▶ Despite his stiff appearance and rather cold demeanor, he’s a big softy at heart. Oftentimes he’ll futz with flower arrangements throughout the House, and he also loves baby pokemon; He helps the rest of the staff with training their pokemon to assist them, and offers incredibly kind encouragement and care to their precious partners. It’s more than once that you hear your maids gossiping about how kind and strong Ingo is, and he hopes you’re taking note of it.

▶ He’s far more quiet and reserved than his younger twin, Emmet. You don’t often see him yourself, but you do take note of how well organized your desk is every morning, and how well made and warm your bed is at night; Ingo prefers to check everything himself, to ensure it’s to your liking. He’d blush if he thought you knew, though.

▶ He can also be surprisingly protective. His beloved ghost pokemon Chandelure is incredibly useful for stopping would be stalkers and burglars. The maids are quite frightened of Chandelure though, and sometimes think Ingo is a ghost himself stalking the halls of your House.

▶ Ask him for a snack in the middle of the day and you will get sweets and iced beverages. In line with being his “secret” soft side, Ingo will take any opportunity to sneak a cookie or other treats during the day, and you certainly wouldn’t notice if a cookie went missing from a tray being brought to you. Favorites of his include shortbread cookies, brownies, tea cakes, pound cake, iced honey-green tea, or strawberry-lemon-tea. If it’s particularly hot he’ll bring you something cold and sweet, like ice cream.

▶ He’ll often suggest you take walks through your garden, and accompany you if you accept. If you’re in the mood to talk, he’s a very good conversationalist. And you’ll find out how enamored he is with railways and trains, and if you happen to like the subject you’ll have a wonderful conversation about all the Unovan rail-lines. If you’re not in the mood to talk, he’ll fetch some tea and cookies and simply sit with you in the shade, listening to cooing pidoves and chirping sewaddles while the wind rustles the leaves of the trees. He enjoys watching his Lady most of all these times though; seeing the dappled sunlight on her skin and her hair being gently blown in the breeze while she reads sends his heart into a tizzy.

▶ When he’s not idly enjoying your company or attending to you, Ingo handles most of the paperwork and House itineraries. He keeps meticulous records and also sorts your mail for you before it goes up to your desk. He knows you hate marriage proposals at this point, and simply discards them or returns them immediately rather than letting them give you another headache. Of course it pains him when he has to let one through, and silently prays you’ll reject it. He’ll castigate himself for thinking you’d ever return his affections, but it doesn’t stop him from daydreaming that one of these days you’ll acknowledge just how much he adores you, and return his affections for real.

"hello everyone! my name is park seol hee!" she did a quick and polite bow to the camera and then faced the interviewer and did another bow. this wasn't her original plan today. she was on the hunt for a viral bakery. she wanted to try the interesting flavors on her stream tonight, but before she could make it, the girl was stopped for an on the street style interview. the interview seemed simple enough, and seol hee was confident it would go well.

she nodded her head as she listened to the question the interviewer was giving her. a fake and exaggerated gasp left her lips "i can't believe you're calling me a wannabe! i'm destined to be famous!" she made an exaggerated model pose towards the camera and continued, "have you seen me? it would practically be a crime to deny me a debut! i'm basically perfect!" she gave the camera a cheeky wink, before letting out a laugh. "and i'm funny too! a born entertainer! what more could companies want in their talent?" she laughed, while she began to straighten herself out. looking around and checking to see the faces of the crew behind the camera. they kept up their stoic appearance, but seol hee wasn't nervous at all. "i'm just kidding, you shouldn't take things seriously all the time." she directed to the crew more than the camera.

she once again made eye contact with the camera and began to speak earnestly, "my goal is to be a distraction. on your hardest days, when you feel like no one is on your side, i'll be there! i don't care if it's music, an interview, or even a live stream, i hope you can find a little peace when you support me." she nodded her head, her smile still plastered on her face. she was getting excited thinking about her dream, about her future and the events that would take her to stardom. "i guess you can say i'm a broadcast jockey? i stream almost daily, and i have a loyal following that tunes in every time! i'm very thankful for them! if i became an idol i could spread positivity to a wider audience." she let out a giggle, bowed to the camera once again. "thank you for interviewing me! don't wait till i'm an idol to support me! support me now, so you can say you were here since the start! "another exaggerated wink to the camera, "i'm at seolshine everywhere! i'm looking forward to seeing you soon!" she did a peace sign to the camera and posed waiting for the director to yell cut.
