things were amazing. it’d been almost two months of your relationship with rafe. you had just hit 20 million subscribers on youtube.

your friends and rafe were sitting around the kitchen counter. cleo had cooked so much food, even eight of you weren’t going to be able to finish all this.

“toast time.” sarah stood up, clicking her beer bottle with a fork, making everyone laugh.

“yn, i am extremely proud and lucky to be your best friend. i have watched you grow and become an inspiration to so many people. everything you have achieved, you have deserved, and you deserve so much more. i love you.” she spoke, smiling through every word, watching you from across the table.

you, teary eyed and laughing, got up and hugged your best friend.

“okay my turn, i have to outshine my sister.” rafe said, standing up too.

“i love you with all my heart. im so proud that you’ve accomplished all of this, and on your own too. sarah talked about inspiration, whatever, but you inspire us too. you walk into peoples lives and become their light. you change life for the better. i can’t believe im so lucky to get to experience life with you. congratulations, baby.” rafe raised his glass, opening his arms and wrapping you in a tight hug.

now, you were full on crying. you couldn’t believe you had such amazing friends and were able to reconnect with the only boy you’ve ever really loved.

you pulled your head from his chest, watched as he leaned down to kiss you. “thanks rafe,” you turned your head to sarah, “and thanks everyone. i love you guys so much.”

everyone cheered, grabbing their glasses in a chaos of ‘i love you too’ and ‘congratulations’’s and one ‘i think i’m crying’ from jj.

it had been hard work, producing so many youtube videos that ended up with no views, moving to la with only enough to pay rent. and while you were struggling, your friends were always there for you. when your career finally took off, they never treated you different. even during the break up with rafe, sarah supported you completely, despite you shit talking her brother for weeks.

you were so thankful.
