You feel like you've missed something important when you wake up the next morning. The voice persisted throughout half of the night and gave up eventually. Your sheer stubbornness prevailed over your curiosity. It was funny listening to the voice slowly sound more and more annoyed, though.

Gaius shames you for your messy room(which isn't technically your fault!), gives you a list of herbs to collect and something to take to the Lady Morgana. You clean up the room a bit and head out!

Hopefully you'll get to see Gwen again, she did say she was her maid after all..

You walk through the open door and watch her head behind her changing screen. That is a lovely shade of blue she's wearing-

"You know, I've been thinking about Arthur. I wouldn't touch him with a lance pole. Pass me that dress, will you Gwen?"

'Ha. Same'

You think to yourself, almost letting out a snort, before realizing she thinks you're Gwen. Well, the dress is right there, might as well.

"I mean, the man's a total jouster. And just because I'm the King's ward, that doesn't mean I have to accompany him to the feast, does it?"

You duck awkwardly as she continues talking, placing the dress on the changing screen. You try and leave but-

"Well, does it?"

Well, you're screwed. You do your best to imitate the voice of a woman and cringe as you fail miserably. Apparently it was good enough because she doesn't notice anything.

"If he wants me to go, then he should invite me, and he hasn't."

'get out get out get-'

"so, do you know what that means?"

I just started my first day of college and it was lowkey amazing. I love the campus and I tried to dorm….didnt work. I live really close though so back to the bus. It’s the exact same bus I took in hs.

enough about me how are you? I hope it’s cooling down in Florida like it is up here. And I hope that you are doing absolutely amazing. Go hydrate and eat something.

hi! welcome to college, it’s fun if you make the most of it! join clubs, participate in as many “what’s your major” conversations, plan out your week every monday! i’m glad you seem to be enjoying it though, and dorms can be overrated anyway imo. at least you don’t have to pay for room and board? go to as many events as you can on campus and try to get involved early in the semester!!!!

i’m okay! college is not very nice to me this semester, i’m far enough in my degree that the workload is something serious. but, i do enjoy it regardless of how tiring and consuming it is! it is not cooling down here yet, im jealous :( we are getting a lot of severe thunderstorms—which i LOVE !!! nothing like studying, napping, and falling asleep to thunder and lightning! it’s that time down here where every passing storm sounds like a hurricane and feels like a hurricane from how the streets are flooding and how the trees get blown over. oddly, i had a rice bowl yesterday and they did fill it to the brim, so i’m crediting that to you—bc recently every bowl place has been stingy with their servings 😒

thank you for yapping! it helps me remind everybody that i’m alive even though i’m not the most active. i’ve banned myself from being on tumblr until i finish writing sip of sunshine (which i still haven’t finished lmao), but i don’t want y’all to think i’ve pulled another unannounced hiatus or ghosted you guys completely. i’m still writing, i promise !!! i have disallowed myself from writing anything else until i finish sos, but i hope you all will see that it’s been worth the wait!

(i’ve been off the arizona with ginseng recently and have been drinking the iced tea with lemon version instead. gotta switch it up every once and a while yk !!!)
