Did you know the original Pizza Hut restaurant is in Wichita, Kansas? 😮 This tiny building was where Dan and Frank Carney began their business with a $600 loan from their mother.

By 1977, they had amassed 4,000 restaurants and sold their company to PepsiCo for $300 million! 😮

Visitors can tour the building which is now a tiny museum. It includes some video documentaries and artifacts from Pizza Hut’s early years. Pretty cool to think it all started in this small “hut” in Kansas.

I'll be the first to admit that the editing here is heavy-handed, but while I was running through the usual tweaks something about the exaggerated white and blue of it all really stuck out to me and I kinda got hooked on the visual. Despite the cooler tones, something about the image just feels like summer to me. IMAGINE!! I just love this word!! This idea! I love what it helps me to do - imagine new beginnings, and wonderful outcomes! As a child we did imaginative things. We pretended ALL THE TIME! It filled our day and... it was FUN! Be that child again. Don't let the world pull you back or down (please, I would never want it to pull you down!) On one of my more meditative days 2 years ago, I was enjoying some creative moments on my phone. What was I to draw with this new fangled gadget/app on my phone? All I could think about was - IMAGINE! I had to. I was feeling less than because of my condition. So I did this. It was like a sling shot into new possibilities for me and my business. I began putting together workshops and because of that I had one of the best years in my business. Even with my disability! I was able to still do it! Again, I shall be IMAGINING - how about you? P.S. - I will be doing a workshop that will help you IMAGINE more in the next few weeks. It is in the planning stage now and I just need to solidify a date and the place. 💕 And in the end... the love you take... is equal to the love you make. 💖 “Revolution: The Music of The #Beatles - A Symphonic Experience” last night with the @WichitaSymphony was so fun and well done. 👏👏👏 The music was accompanied by hundreds of rare & unseen photos from historic archives along with fabulous video and animation. Everyone on stage seemed to be enjoying it as much as the audience. “Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End” was so fantastic. 💜 “I Am the Walrus” was 🤯.
