it was a rough night to say the least. the league of villains had struck again, and while you had prevailed, it had been fairly difficult

especially because your boyfriend izuku has a bad habit of getting himself injured. and provoking the league.

so when your sleep is disrupted by a particularly terrifying nightmare involving midoriya, you immediately text him, asking if you can cuddle with him

when you finally arrive at his room, he almost starts crying at the sight of tears in your eyes please protect this baby

“do you wanna talk about it?” he asks and he pulls you close to him on his bed

usually when you two cuddle, he’s much more of a facing each other person. but in times like these, he’ll lay on his back with your head on his chest, the sound of his heartbeat easing your pain

“it’s the same thing as always” he hates it. he hates how much pain you’re in because of him. 

but he holds you close and hopes it enough to ease the pain. the bring you some sort of comfort

“i’m right here y/n. i’m not going anywhere” and with that, you know he means it. you know he’ll fight, and he’ll fight for you
