#their in-game interaction is cool but then i think about it more than 5 seconds and i rip my shirt open in agony#what happened to solas poking dorian about how necromancy is just putting spirits into slavery the same way tevinter does to elves#what happened to solas hunting and haunting mortalitasi abusing spirits for rituals#youre telling me solas fucks with the mourn watch putting spirits into skeletons to do what? dig in the Necropolis until what?#'the spirits like it!' what happened to 'its not abuse if i ask' 'not always true'#he fucks with emmrich and his butler spirit son because??#rahh. whatever#IF they made emmrich actually not realize how harmful it is to treat manfred like a butler when he is a person and that would have been#his character arc. that would have 'humanizied' spirits to us/new players and make us sympathetic towards solas#and would have been another argument in the tearing down the veil discussion the game SHOULD have had#but we cant have complex character choices here. only cosmetic
