—
“Cmonnnnn we’re gonna be late!!”
“not my fault you took 2 hours in the shower?”
you and your bestfriend were getting ready for that little concert that was in your city. it was so rare you had finally something fun to do, and the best part of it, is that your favourite band was gonna be there. you were so excited to go there, but your bestfriend was just making you nervous, in the worst way ever.
you had a denim mini skirt with a lace crop top in black with some leather jacket, classic ‘rockstar girlfriend’ outfit if you’d search it on pinterest. but, it was a rock show anyways, so you were fitting in that vibe.
you had a little smug eyeliner with some star glitter around your eyes. your best friend has some too. exited by the fact that you two were matching like some 13 years old teenagers.
“okay, im ready”
“about time!! now come on, i dont wanna arrive while its crowded, wanna have the best view” she tells you while bringing you outside towards her car
“girl did you know my fav band are gonna be here??”
“ugh omg you said it at least one thousand times…” she sighs
“okay okay, will you be less annoyed when i tell you they look like this :” you said as you showed her the guitarists and the singer. they were 3 and your age. absolutely gorgeous people.
“YOOOOOOOOO!!!” Layla said, looking at the picture of the three bend’s members.
“rightttt?!!!”
“okay but look at the men?”
“his name is Jesse, one of the guitarist. currently dating the other guitarist” you informed her, for only her smile dropping at the deception.
“look, thats the singer” you continue “her name’s Ellie, and shes SO fucking hot, and shes gay”
“lesbian?” she asks you while she starts driving towards the location for tonight.
“yeah, literally everyone who listen to their music is because all the fans envy her. i dont blame them tho”
“what about the other guitarist?” she asks you, now interested in them
“Its Dina, Ellie’s ex”
“WHAAAAAT ??? nowayyyy”
you two laugh at the drama you shared to layla. it was funny gossiping and her finally showing some interest in what you liked.
-
arrived there, it was already crowded. nobody was on stage yet, but it was definitely bigger than you expected.
you friend touched your shoulder, knowing how much noisy places made you so uncomfortable.
“what aboouuuuuut we get VIP tickets for a quieter place mhh?”
“Layla? its too expensive i cant afford that, ill just- support it” you tell her, looking at your phone trying to distract yourself
“too late babe i bought us some” she says, looking at you with the biggest smile. eyes disappearing and teeth showing. She was your sunshine.
“whaaat? you shouldn’t have- im gonna repay you when i can okay?”
“nuh huh, its our night and my gift, okay?”
you nod and smile, worries erased by her gentle smile.
it was true, it was you guy’s night, and no anxiety would take that away.
In the VIP room, there was mostly middled aged men with some really young, but beautiful girls in their company. all already wasted. from here, you could be so close to the stage you thought if the artists would be close enough, you could touch them. you also had access to the backstage, which was an insane opportunity.
some normal people, like your age hanging out with people their age were also in the VIP. it was less awkward with all of those creepy men probably were ‘sugar daddies’
“im gonna grab us a drink ill be back, yeah?” layla whisper-screams in your ears then vanishes to the bar.
you look around you, analyzing the people. then get on your phone, just to seem lees alone.
“Hey you gorgeous lady, would you mind some company?” a raspy voice said
you look towards the voice and see a men, probably 25 years old, but obviously drunk and maybe also high.
“i already have company, but thanks” you said, gently, not wanting anything to happen.
“oh, but i dont see anyone babygirl…” he said as he leaned closer to you while you backed off a little.
his eyes widen, completely surprised by your non interested move.
“im not gonna bite youuu, only if you ask me to” he says and winks at you while touching your arm, going closer and closer to your breast.
“um.. no thanks..” you said, trying to get away, searching around for layla’s figure somewhere around…
“why are you so fucking rude? huh? cant even be happy someone wants to be with you mh? ‘lil slut..” he said as his grip on your arm was tightening, probably gonna leave a mark after.
“please-“ you started but got cut by someone else, behind you two
“she said no man”
the men looks behind him, feeling his grip on your arm going insanely tight. you hiss by the pain.
“she’s with me” he answers to the girl you yet didn’t dare to look at, feeling embarrassed by this whole situation
“are you with this man, miss?” the girl asked you.
her tone completely shifting from raspy, loud and angry to sweet and gentle. making you look up from the ground to see the Ellie Williams defending you. you answer her a small ‘no’. scared if you talked louder the men would take away your arm at this point. or scared you’d cry from anger. the tight feeling you felt in your throat was cutting your voice to get through, if the knot would get destroyed, you’d probably sob right here, but it would only get tighter, feeling like it was taking the oxygen away from your lungs. feeling like it was choking you so it couldn’t pass anymore. would only make your heart beat slower due to the little air you were able to breathe. but you felt like it was beating faster, like you just ran kilometers and stopped suddenly. making your body react in a bad way in the sudden change.
but that was only a feeling.
you just looked, away.
you could hear Ellie yell at the men until his grip on you left to only see his arm swing towards ellie’s face. only that she dodged his punch smoothly. almost satisfying to watch her doing it like she was the finest fighter in the world.
but the slowmo and the muffled voices stopped and when Ellie punched him. Everything was too loud and too clear.
blood getting out of the man’s mouth. attacking Ellie back. everyone screaming and getting away from the fight, creating a non purpose circle.
suddenly it wasn’t a rock show, but a fight show.
Once Ellie completely knocked out the men, him completely passed out on the ground, blood all over his face. she went towards you
“You okay?” she asked, gently as she didnt even just fought with someone like she was gonna kill him.
you simply nodded to her, shocked by this whole situation, never wanting it to end up this way.
“come with me, yeah? ill get you some water and… clean you up” she said looking at your cheek, having some blood on it.
you just followed her into her lodge. it was quiet and cozy.
nobody was in there, but you were kinda nervous about the fact that you were literally with a celebrity.
“sit down” she obeyed.
you sat on the closest chair you saw, following her orders like a dog, still under shock.
ellie took a glass and poured water in it, placed it on the table next to you, then took a small towel and again, put water on it. she came real close to you, her head titled on the side a little bit, her fingers took your chin and made your head move a little bit on the side. she took the towel and took the blood away from your cheek. probably the men’s blood. ellie didn’t have one single scratch. only her knuckles were brushed.
you watched her taking care of you like a little kitten she had found on the road and just, felt bad for it.
her eyes were concentrated on what she was doing, her fingers touching you so gentle, so softly. her bottom lip between her teeth due to the concentration. she might looked so rough earlier, but here? she was the softest person you’ve ever laid eyes on.
“here..” she said as she stopped what she was doing. she sat next to you, with concerned eyes. she suddenly cared so much about you.
“thanks” you whispered, looking down to the glass of water in front of you.
“dont thank me, this guy was an asshole. are you hurt?” she asked looking at your arm, knowing he was holding it.
“if i were you id worry more about your hands” you said looking at them, all bloody and swallowed.
“its okay, dont worry about me…” She said getting up to grab some ice for your arm
“no, take it.” you said, putting it on her fingers trying to ease her pain from defending you.
the room went silent, a comfortable silence. the ones where you didnt rush do say anything or where you werent overthinking to find a subject to talk about.
Ellie on the other hand, was going insane. You were so pretty and you had a pin on your purse about their bands which meant that you were a fan. which meant you knew about her and listened to her music. the silence was driving her insane. she’d just wish she was a normal person who weren’t screaming for her name out there. screaming for her and the fact that they all wanted her. like she was theirs. but she didn’t want that. she wanted to be yours, and it wasn’t gonna be easy. she thought you were scared by her, she thought you saw her completely different now, that you’d stop listening about her being so so toxic with girls with the best beat dina and jesse could ever put to make everyone forget about how of an asshole she was.
about how the girl was hers but she wasnt the theirs. about how she just fucked the girl cause she was bored.
but now, you could saw her as a crazy girl that punches someone almost to death. someone dangerous.
you were just too pretty for this man, for this treatment. she would have done this for anyone, but taking care of them after? nahhh she wouldve just walked away.
“whats your name..?” Ellie asked, looking dead up in your eyes like she wasn’t going crazy on overthinking.
“my name’s ______” you tell her.
“im uh, im Ell-“
“Ellie Williams, yeah i know”
“of course you do..” she sighed at herself.
“fuck- i uh my friend… she’s gonna be dead worried!! fuck fuck” you say, completely on panic mode
“hey, hey, hey, its okay, just send her a message to let her know youre all good, im not letting you out there again, something worse could happen to you.” she says, in a stern tone.
“you worried about me Williams?” you ask her, calmed but surprised by her reaction, slightly titling your head a little bit. the small amount of alcohol in your system making you bolder than you ever could.
“believe it or not sweetheart, i care about my fans”
something in what you said activated Ellie’s dangerous side. she was gonna torture you and never let you go.
“dont you have a show you have to do? for the caring of your fans?”
“i believe they can wait a little bit, dont you think?” she smirked at you.
that goddamn smirk she’d have in those pinterest pictures of her if you searched up her name on the search bar. that smirk when she was on live and someone would tell how much they loved her. or when her fans would ask her to sign on their boobs.
that smirk.
“how disappointed i would be if i was one of those, knowing you were just sitting in here with someone you didnt even knew”
“mhhh i wouldnt care less doll”
you blushed at the nickname, you’d cringe if someone else would’ve called you like that, but the way she said made your panties grow a little wet spot faster than you thought your body could.
you shifted a little bit in your chair, uncomfortable by how sweaty you’ve just became.
“dont you think its hot.. in here?” you said, praying for her to not notice it was because of how much your heart was pumping, making you red everywhere.
“follow me” Ellie said, getting up and walking in another room. you were almost too shaking to even walk but you managed to make your way to ellie. she was in a small bedroom. how could you know lodges had bedrooms? no idea.
“we have those bedrooms if someone from the bend is tired or dont feel good, very useful. i think it was Beyoncé that asked that”
“you know beyoncé???” you asked completely amazed
“uhhh, no. im a small artist, not a pop star” she laughed and made herself comfortable on the bed.
you sat next to her, but shy enough to keep your distance away from her a little.
Ellie just grabbed a guitar that was hanging on the wall and started to play a little melody. her fingers stroking the strings so perfectly, making them some beautiful note and then you recognized the song. she was signing one of hers.
its like you were in a dream, the room was so dark but there was lights everywhere, hanging like a teenage room. making able to see everything with the most perfect lighting, you were able to see the intense shadows from ellie’s perfect muscles. aligned how it was made, like god modelled them himself with his own hands. the way she was just there looking at where her fingers were at to know what note to play next. her foot tapping around with the beat. her hair being lighten by the small yellow lights, making her auburn hair look way more softer than usual.
you couldn’t contain yourself at the sight.
“wanna try?” Ellie asked, handing you the guitar with smile on her lips… her perfect lips- ok stop this madness.
“i- i dont know how to play”
“ill teach you- here, put it on your legs…” she then got closer and took your hands to place them to make a chord. “and here is the chord C major” she smiled at you. “easy right?”
“sure, if i dont count the fact that my fingers are about to explose”
she looked at you and laughed, you did the same. you felt now so comfortable with her.
“alright..” she said,
“get in my lap imma teach you some other stuff.”
“huh?”
“the guitar, you trust me?”
she said, clarifying your dirty mind.
“uh yeah, i do” you said then sat in front of her, between her legs. she wrapped her arms around you and guided your fingers, showing you the chords. one by one.
her fingers felt sooo good on your skin, you were just wondering how good they felt inside of you.
you knew that what you were feeling was wrong, that you two just met but you couldn’t help to press your ass to her crutch. Ellie’s words stuttered, and so did yours. every words were slower and her mouvements were more sensual, if you werent delusional.
the tension just kept growing and only one more move and it could be done for the both of you.
she pressed her head in your shoulder. still teaching you. a hand on yours- guiding you and another on your hip… and she just made you get closer to her, as you could even get closer. you were trying to not moan at this point. what she was doing, ‘teaching’ you guitar and making your heart skip a beat, pretending like nothing else was happening, like it was just all in your imagination. but the feeling was so strong, so strong.
you felt her lips stroking against the skin of your neck while she was whispering you the instructions of the next chords.
crazy how an hour ago you were with your bestfriend, being exited about just seeing ellie live, and here you were, she was literally teaching you how to play guitar with hers. this felt all like it was some kind of prank, too good to be true, but you were just there to enjoy yourself at 100%.
Ellie’s hand on your hip was now playing around on your thigh, she’d tell you how good you were doing. she then moved her hand, painfully slow in your inner thigh. your breathing was speeding up like she was already in you…
she has just touch you so little.
you craved her so much.
you let her get higher, she stoked her fingers on your clothed cunt, could feel the wet spot on your panties that was growing since you got into her lodge.
“is this okay?” she asked you. scared she was taking everything too far, but you just pushed her hand closer to where you needed her the most.
Ellie took the guitar away from the both of you and turned you over so she could see your face.
your legs wrapped around her waist and now both of her hands were on your hips.
the atmosphere completely changed. it was romantic and comfortable 2 seconds ago, and now its so much more intense, the room feels hotter and your nervousness is on the top of your head controlling you to stay still.
“ellie…” you whined.
that made ellie so much more bold. her hands moved up from your hips to your cheeks, not forgetting to touch every part of your skin that was on the way. it wasn’t too slow and either too fast, just enough to realize she was getting closer and closer while her eyes switched on your eyes to your lips. you leaned in, like she was a magnet, pulling you towards her. her lips on yours felt the most right thing you’ve ever felt. they were so soft, so warm, so so tender against your lips. the kiss turned into a make out soon enough like it was a relief from all the tension that had built. her tongue dancing against yours, feeling this feeling of euphoria in your whole body, only catching yourself needed more and more.
unconsciously, your hips were rocking against any pressure you could find. ellie stopped her kisses to only replace them on your neck. you tilt your head to give her more access. you had no idea what you were doing, its like your body went into full control and your mind was just beyond the clouds, seeing the stars when her knee pressed against your clothed cunt. a moan and a a relief sigh escaped your lips.
all was happening so fast and ellie was taking your shirt off, as you were doing the same to her, like in those romantic movies when the two characters find eachothers and they get heated in the moment. like there wasn’t time, like you were late to somewhere.
ellie’s fingers found their way, once again on your clit.
“you mind if i take this off?” she asked, with a smirk, but you could see her cheeks blushing, her breath being fast… her hands shaking.
you nodded, way too speechless of the goddess in front of you
“words, i need words baby”
“take it off” you saw, looking at your legs that were still wrapped around ellie’s waist.
ellie layed you down on the bed, now on top of you, looking at you up and down, analyzing your body. she gently touched the hem of your skirt to take it off. you lifted your hips up to help her. her mouvement were painfully slow, as she was trying to make this sooo memorable.
your panties along with your hips were now on the floor of the room. laying with only your bra left.
ellie’s lips returned to yours, while you could feel her hands getting closer to where you needed her the most.
“ellie..?”
“yes, yes? what’s wrong?” she asked, genuine
“i uh.. can i ride on you?” you asked her, closing your eyes to try and hide yourself from the immense embarrassment you felt, but before you knew it, ellie stood up, you looked at her, clearly confused about what she was doing
to your surprise, she only stripped herself, finding her now completely naked. you could see her abs.. her biceps.. the ‘v’ kind of shape she had on her lower stomach.. her small, yet perfect boobs, only finding your mouth watering at the sight- and not only your mouth but your pussy was drenched too.
“are you gonna stop staring at me?” ellie asked as she climbed on top of you, kissing you- again
maybe she felt magnified to you too? just like you felt so attracted to her
you were winning in anticipation and excitement
naturally, her leg intertwined with one of yours so both of your clits were pressing against eachothers.
feeling her like that against you was heaven. grinding yourself against her was beyond beautiful. the scene was so pornographic that i’d create a new sin in the bible.
“els! im so.. close… fuck!!”
“me too, fuck.. together yeah?”
and just like that she gave a couple more trusts against you and you did the same, as your mouvements were synchronized, as if it was destiny to find her and make love with the love of your life.
you saw and felt fireworks, a big release escaped as you were almost screaming by pleasure. and ellie was just, amazed by your fucked expression she could cum again over and over by just being on top of you, looking at you this beautiful. she couldnt stop.
“els! please!” you said as you felt overstimulated by your previous orgasm.
“please give me another one, please.” ellie was begging at this point. as she needed it more than you, as she felt it in her.
she could go on and on, and you would let her abuse your cunt for the rest of your life if it felt like that.

"Lost" - Charles Leclerc x fem!reader
Charles celebrates too hard and gets lost. More news at 6
Find more on my masterlist!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Sir?”
“Sir!”
“Wah?”
Charles awoke as he felt his shoulder getting ruffled, eyes dry and hurting. His throat was dry.
“Sir, please get up. This train is finished cleaning, you have to leave”
‘Train?’, he wondered in confusion. Hadn't he just been celebrating his win in Monaco? He took a look at the person shaking him. She was a train attendant, pretty looking he might add. Her uniform was not flattering the least. A light blue t-shirt with a dark blue vest thrown over it. Her accent was german. He attempted to get out of his seat but stumbled, bad leg control.
She supported his shoulder.
“Where am I?”
“Far off from any kind of civilisation you'd normally travel to, based on that watch on your arm” the attended reported. “The middle of nowhere, in Germany.”
Charles held his head. “I don't remember getting on this train at all.”
She looked at him with a lifted eyebrow. “Well, you had all the necessary tickets for your journey. Must have gotten them from somewhere.”
Together they walked outside of the train. The train station was small, one white painted building. Only two tracks, lot's off trees.
“Have you got anywhere to go to?”
Charles looked at her, thinking. Fumbling around his pocket resulted in nothing, his phone and wallet were gone. Shit.
“Apparently not. Let's just get going. You can stay the night with me, I've got space.”
“Can't I just take this train back to where I'm from?” Charles asked her in desperation.
“Good Joke, truly. This train runs every two hours during the day. And then you'd have to take more trains, none of which usually run in the night as well. Also, I've had a long day of work. I'm really, really beat up.”
Charles sighed. ‘What did I just get myself into? The people saying to not mix uppers and downers were right…’
She led him to her Car, a little silver Hyundai. Throwing her backpack in and settling into the driver's seat, she sighed in relief. “Finally done.”
“Done?”
“I've got the weekend off. Your arrival kinda ruined it but we gotta take the things as they come. I'm Y/N L/N. You?”
“Charles Leclerc”
“That sounds French”
“Monegasque”
“What? I don't know that word”
“I'm from Monaco!”
She looked at him in surprise. “Now you're pulling my leg. You got here from MONACO? You must have taken like 10+ trains!”
“Urgs, not so loud. My head hurts”
“God.” She groaned as she inserted the car key, starting the little engine. “Move your hand”
“Huh?”
“Either you move your hand or you loosen the handbrake. I can't get it with you spreading over there”
Charles quickly lifted his arms in the air. “Isn't it Electric?”
She just looked at him exasperated. “Do I look like I'm shitting money? I can't afford a car that new. Unless you'd wanna pay one Mr. Money Bag over there.”
“Oi, that's rude”
“You're from Monaco, don't y'all bath in money and champagne? Now, let's just get going.”
The car ride was silent with Charles looking out of the windows. This really was the countryside. Trees, fields, cows and horses. Lots of half-timbered houses.
After half an hour of journey, with them passing over roads he'd never even classify as those, considering the many holes and breaks they finally reached a large property. A large half timbered house with a similar looking barn and a long building houses garages presented itself to him. She parked the Hyundai in one of the Garages, the smaller one to be exact, and stepped outside.
Charles followed her as she unlocked the front door, revealing a house with small-ish rooms with low height walls painted weight. The most color each room spotted was oak- all the furniture and floor were oak. He had never been in a house like this before.
“Stair up, the left room is the bathroom. Soap's there, go shower. I'll put clean clothes and towels in front of the door for you.”
“Shower?”
“Sorry …Charlie. You stink. Long journey and all”
“Ah, I'm so sorry! I'll go shower immediately!”
Charles stepped into the bathroom, throwing his clothes on the ground. The second they left his body he noticed the less than stellar stench of sweat, alcohol and weed stuck on them. The water hitting his skin felt heavenly, scrubbing off layers of grime and dirt he never thought could amass so quickly. The water was different, as well. It didn't smell of chlorine as much, more like iron instead. Nonetheless, only after the shower did he realize what a stinky guy he had become. The clothes laid in front of the door were oversized on him. Some red, used polo shirt and cargo pants with frayed edges awaited him. Downstairs in the Kitchen, Y/N had changed into casual wear, foot already served on the table. Charles settled into the chair, staring at the provided meal. “What, you’re not hungry?” she asked him, tauntingly. “I don’t know how to eat this” he had to state.
“Look”, she said. The table was covered in two plates, each having a solid kind of bun laid on it and a pot with sausages swimming around. She took her knife, cutting a slit into the Bun. “Take the Brötchen-”, she then grabbed a fork and fished out a sausage, putting it into the ‘Brötchen’, “then put the sausage in there. "That's it.”
“Nothing else?” Charles asked, pretty confused.
“Yeah, simple meal you know. "Nothing fancy.”
“Hm.”
They ate silently, with Charles being confused at how hard that Brötchen was. He slept in the living room that night. The house didn’t have blinds but there were no street lights to keep him awake. Instead pure silence, something he never encountered anywhere. It was almost blissful - until the sun woke him up at 6AM and the birds were singing really loudly. He heard a loud mechanical noise and a cupboard clinking, then Y/N appeared in the doorway, offering a mug. “Coffee.”
The cup of coffee was hot, very nice.
“We’ll go to the electronics store to get you a phone, so that you can get your stuff in order. I can’t get you onto a plane without documents.”
“Aight.”
“Are we there soon?”
“Sorry mate, nothing’s close by.”
Driving to the electronic store took over half an hour and as they finally arrived, no grand palace was awaiting him. It was a dinky old little store, the bottom floor housing washing machines, fridges and vacuums. The upstairs was mostly TVs and DVDs, the phones tucked into the corner. Charles approached the few iPhones they had there, playing around with them.
“Dude, pick something cheaper”
"Why?" I’d just buy something that lasts.”
Y/N looked at him in annoyance. “I don’t know when you’ll be able to pay me back. That stupid phone is like a third of my monthly income. I can’t afford that.”
“A third?”, he asked in shock.
“Yeah, train attendants don’t earn much. Tickets want to be cheap right? Also…” she added. “We gotta get you a limited plan. Since you don’t have an ID, I have to be the owner. We should get a monthly one so that i can cancel it later.”
He simply agreed, settling on one heck of a cheap phone.
“Finally.” he sighed, installing his social media apps and creating a new WhatsApp profile. Contact to the outside world could be established.
“I need to call my team.”
“Please do, i bet they’re worried sick”
Charles leaned against the door as Y/N settled inside, as he heard the familiar call beep. Then, a voice he hadn’t heard in a while returned from the speaker.
“Who’s there?”, asked his friend, Andrea Ferrari.
“It’s me, Charles!”
"Charles?!" Where the fuck have you been ? We were so worried about you!”
“So fun story, i apparently took multiple trains and am now somewhere randomly in Germany. And I lost my wallet along with my phone.”
“Somewhere in Germany and no identification… Can you rent a car?”
“No, since I obviously have no ID, right?”
"Ah, shit. How’d you get a phone?”
“A train attendant took me in and bought it, but she can’t really afford more than that.”
Andrea seemed to think for a moment. “What if we send her money and she drives you back?”
“That sounds like a moronic, stupid journey…”
Shortly afterwards, Y/N made large eyes as insane amounts of cash appeared on her bank account. She didn’t believe that Charles actually was rich, especially not that he was an F1 Driver. For Ferrari as well! The Michael Schumacher Ferrari! She was quick to convince however, as a paid vacation like that sounded like a nice idea. They headed to the car dealership which also rented cars.
“Hyundai, again?” Charles complained.
Y/N just stared at him. “I know a guy there, the only spot where they won’t scam you.”
She had picked a car that looked quite similar to hers, just a bit longer with more horsepower. “I don’t like driving big cars. Want some power for the Autobahn though.” Charles whined in Response:” Can’t I drive? Pretty please? I haven't driven a car in a while~”
“Do you currently have a physical license?”
“No”
“Then shut up. I'd lose my license if we were to get caught. My car takes me to work, no options without”
He wanted to pout in response but that had quickly become not an option. The drive was sheer madness. Y/N was running on hopes and energy drinks, pushing the little car to its limit. Charles was gripping every piece of interieur he physically could as she drove at max speed for every stretch she could. Google had estimated the journey to take 13 hours, she shaved off 2 of them. He made a note of never saying that women were the calmer drivers. Blasting loud techno music that turned into a monotonous drone combined with the engine screaming as German countryside flew past him, only interrupted by gas station breaks.
Sweet, sweet silence they proved to be. A heaven of calm, shoved tightly between what most likely was an out-of-body experience.
Then, silence, white doves and heavenly goodness stopped: the return of techno. Y/N throwing the Car around Italy’s shit roads, ignoring all laws of traffic ever created. One goal in Mind: Maranello.
With the crack of dawn and the first worker’s arriving to open the doors, they saw something they had never seen in their long career. A crazed car coming to a full stop, brakes glowing hot directly in front of them. Passenger side flung open and their golden treasure stepping out. Il Predestino had returned, he had risen from the dead.
And was vomiting against a tree.
“Aren’t you F1 Drivers supposed to be tough or something?”
Charles tiredly leaned against said tree, face free of blood. “We’re tough but not tough like that. I can survive a long ass GP but not 11 hours of insanity”
The crazed driver laughed, her whole body shaking. She approached him, forcefully shaking his hand. “It was nice to get to know you, big boy. I want to go to sleep now, hit me up if you want to visit Germany again.” Y/N shoved a slip of paper between his tightly pressed fingers and walked off as an employee showed her the way. She was to stay somewhere close by as some NDAstuff needed to be handled now.
On the other side, more people were approaching. Charles' friends, the team and the media. Maybe Germany was actually a nice spot to vacation in. Without all the circus going on here. When was the winter break again?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I pinky promise that i WILL continue this since i wrote it for my friend acexf1 over on YouTube. It's more set-up than anything rn. My other stuff is also getting continuations now!

Earning Your Keep
Analogical (Virgil & Logan)
This story will be a series for the sugar daddy idea i've had running around in my head for some time now lmao. I really hope you guys like it since I enjoy writing it :)
Read it on AO3!
Virgil likes to take care of those he holds close, and maybe also a stranger that offered him a ride home.
Virgil was never rich. His family was big and his parents couldn’t make very many ends meet for most of his life, leading him to work his way through school. Once he graduated with a bachelors in psychology, he picked up two jobs to start paying off his loans, one in retail which drove his mental health into the ground, and the other as a behavioral health tech at a rehab center, which only had night-shift positions open and kept him up all night. He was paid and treated like shit, and on the cusp of breaking down when he got extremely lucky. For his 27th birthday he got the usual card with a cheesy message from his grandparents, but instead of the typical twenty bucks or a gift card, he found a lottery ticket sitting neatly inside. He didn’t think much of it, handing it over to the convenience store clerk when he was picking up an energy drink before his next shift.
“I don’t think this is worth anything, but if it has anything on it can I just use it to pay for this?” Virgil put his drink on the counter while the clerk scanned the ticket.
“Woah, woah. Oh my god.”
“What?”
“Dude, you just won.”
“Huh?” Virgil knit his brow in confusion. He glanced over at the cashier’s screen, noticing the rather large number it displayed.
“Yeah, you won the jackpot! It’s over like 200 million! Holy shit! Here, sign it and take it to a lawyer!” The person handed him back the slip of paper and a pen. Virgil’s brain had short-circuited, causing him to just follow instructions. He didn’t really understand what was happening, so he just took the ticket back and walked out and back to his car, driving straight home and immediately typing ‘what to do if you win the lottery’ into his computer.
A bunch of results came up saying a bunch of stuff- tax experts, lawyers, and a bunch of steps that caused Virgil to lay down on his bed and rock back and forth for a little while. He didn’t believe this was happening to him. Maybe it wasn’t real? This was just a nightmare right? A really good bad nightmare.
All the things he saw online said not to tell anyone, but he couldn’t just sit there not making a decision. He picked up the phone and dialed the only person he knew who could possibly help him out.
~~~~~~~~~~
“You what ?” Janus’ voice hissed through the speakers on Virgil's phone, “Is this some weird joke, because it isn’t landing well.”
“No, no, I promise it's real, I-I checked and the numbers match up and I verified it at the gas station and, and-”
“Virgil, breathe. Calm down. I’m coming over so we can talk. I’ll help you get this figured out, and make sure you aren’t having delusions of grandeur.” Janus sighed, “I’ll be there in 10.”
Janus was over shortly, Virgil working with him to figure out the next course of action. Everything was going so fast. The next day Janus helped him set up meetings and accounts, and get lawyers and a budget going. The week flew by in between the contracts and calls. Even the next few months seemed to go by in a blur of bureaucratic processes.
The first thing he did was set his parents up with a decent place to live and help them with their debts and medical bills. He did the same for himself, getting his student loans paid off finally and allowing himself to move into a spacey yet cozy penthouse. He quit both his jobs, but tried to end on a good note with his boss at the clinic in case he did ever want to go back. He was, probably for the first time in his life, comfortable.
~~~~~~~~~~
Time kept passing and Virgil had to now figure out what he wanted to spend his time on. He’d picked up his passion for music again now that he could afford nice equipment, but never had the intent to go anywhere with it. He looked into some online classes he could take, just for fun and to keep his mind stimulated. He even worked with Janus and some of his lawyers to start a charity for helping disabled students with loans that didn’t have the luck that he had. That was as close to a job as he had, once they had an office set up he made a regular schedule to help sort things out with it.
The routine he made helped him adjust to his new life. Getting up, going to the office, processing applications, working on his classes and playing music. He didn’t really spend his money anymore beyond his needs. Nothing fancy brought him much happiness. He didn’t host parties or have many friends that hung out with him before he became well off. He’d tried to go on a few dates, but the people he’d seen either knew him from the news when he originally won or they’d act disinterested until he brought up his money. The one time he actually thought he’d found someone he was interested in, the guy had thrown a fit that he wanted to end their 3rd date early to not have a panic attack.
They went to a planetarium, which for the most part Virgil enjoyed, but the segment about how small of a spec the earth was in the grand scheme of the universe triggered the existentialist anxiety of dying alone and not mattering. He had to run out and go calm down, but that proved difficult with his date shouting.
“Do you know how fucking rude it is to just run out on your date? I had to pay for these tickets, you know, and they aren’t cheap!”
“I-I know, i’m sorry, I can, um, here I’ll pay you back-” Virgil started to reach for his wallet.
“Whatever, it’s fine, let’s just see if they’ll let us back in, cmon.” The guy tugged at Virgil’s arm.
“Um…Actually I was wondering if…s-sorry uh, could- could we just go home?”
“What, are you not having a nice night? You could at least not waste my time, you know.”
“I know, I'm really sorry, we should- maybe, uh… you can go and I’ll just head home and call an uber-”
“Ugh are you serious?” His date frowned, “You know what? Just go, I don’t wanna deal with this anymore. Don’t call me again, we’re done.”
He watched his date head back into the planetarium and sighed, resigning himself to a bench outside to shake off the rejection. He shivered as a spike of anxiety hit him. He had to count his breaths, but it wasn’t working. He was gonna end up alone and live a completely inconsequential life that had no impact whatsoever and-
“Are you alright?”
Virgil looked over at a man a few feet away from him. He stood tall, sporting glasses and a polo with the logo of the planetarium. Virgil didn’t couldn’t quite make out the name on the man’s name tag through his watery eyes. Oh shit, was he crying? No no no this couldn’t happen in public, he was a grown man crying in public-
“Oh, apologies, I didn’t mean to startle you. I just thought I should intervene.” The man looked at Virgil with concern, “May I sit?”
Virgil nodded, easing slightly as he did. He took a shaky breath and wiped away his tears, “I-I’m so-sor-ry. I could-n’t stay in there. S-sorry.”
“There’s no need to apologize, take as much time as you need to gather yourself.” He spoke calmly. His tone comforted Virgil enough to steady his breathing and collect his thoughts.
“I’m…I’m good. Sorry.” Virgil sighed, “Just had a shitty date.”
The man frowned, “I see. Was he your ride home?”
Virgil nodded, “Figured I’d just get a cab or something.”
“Don’t waste your money, my shift just ended. If you’re comfortable with it I’d be happy to offer you a way home.”
“No no I can’t, I mean- It’s fine it’s not like money’s the issue I just don’t wanna leave him here alone.”
“After he just left you?”
Virgil looked towards the doors of the planetarium. He slumped his shoulders in resignation, “I guess you’re right.”
“I don’t mean to intrude on your personal affairs, but he is not worth your time if he does not respect your boundaries, and I don’t feel comfortable leaving you in a potentially unsafe environment. I would feel much more assured if I knew you returned home unharmed.”
“Fuck it, ok.” Virgil sighed. He looked over at the man and was able to see him a little more clearly. His name tag attached to a Dr. Who lanyard read Logan in bold font. He looked rather lanky and had bags under his eyes comparable to Virgil’s own.
“Would you like another minute to calm down or would you like to walk with me to my car now? I don’t mind waiting.”
“Uh, no, we can go now. Th-thank you, um, Logan.” Virgil offered a half smile.
“Of course, uh…”
“Virgil.”
“Virgil.” The man- Logan, stood up and motioned for the other to follow him.
Virgil stood and accompanied him to the car. It wasn’t the fanciest thing in the world, far from it. It looked like one of the windows had been punched out and was covered with cardboard and duct tape. It looked like an older car, and when they got in Logan had to start the engine a few times before it actually got running.
“Please excuse the state of my car,” Logan said pulling his seatbelt on, “I’d fix the window on my own if I could but I’ve been too busy to do so. Here, do you mind putting your address in so I can get directions?”
Logan handed Virgil his phone, the other quickly inputting the info and handing it back. Virgil fastened his own seatbelt as they drove out of the parking lot.
“So, you work at the planetarium?”
“My shirt indicates so.”
“Right.” Virgil nodded, “What started that?”
“I needed a part-time job to work during nights while I attended college. I studied astronomy and a professor recommended applying for the position. The job just stuck after I graduated.”
“That sounds pretty cool. You get to go to all those shows, right?”
“No, I get to sit in the ticket booth.”
“Oh.” Virgil looked out the window as they drove, “I didn’t realize.”
“It's alright,” Logan said, shrugging, “I’ve seen them all anyway, when I had more free time.”
“You can’t take a day off?”
Logan’s lips pursed, “Not really. I work two other jobs.”
They both spent the rest of the ride in silence until the car approached the area where Virgil lived.
“You…live over here?” Logan questioned, looking around at the tall, well-kept buildings of the city.
“Um, yeah. I guess.” Virgil sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, “I moved here a few months ago. Doesn’t feel like it though.”
Logan hummed in acknowledgement, still looking around at how different this place seemed compared to where he lived. He pulled up to a decorative building with too many stories to count from his view. He parked the car and turned to Virgil.
“Thank you for allowing me to take you home. I’m sorry you had a rough night but hopefully you’ll find someone else that will accommodate your needs appropriately.” Logan offered a smile.
Virgil returned it, before clumsily reaching to take off his seatbelt and pull out his wallet, “Uh, here.”
He offered a wad of cash to Logan, who in return pushed it back, “No, please don’t worry about covering gas. It isn’t far from my-”
“Take it. Get your window fixed too. And if you need anything else just, um, give me a call or something. Thanks again, Logan.” Virgil said, getting out of the car and shutting the door.
Logan watched him greet the doorman (his building had a doorman?) and head to his apartment, before staring down at the cash. It added up to about $350, plus Virgil's business card. He blinked and debated trying to go after him, but decided he wouldn’t be able to find him since he didn’t know which apartment was his. He pulled out his own wallet and stuffed the cash inside. The card Virgil had given him had his name and number, along with the name of a charity Logan heard the name of a few times from the news. This was too much to process, so Logan just put the card in with the cash and drove home. That was a problem for someone much more well rested.
~~~~~~~~~~
Virgil flopped down on his bed as soon as he got home. He pulled out his phone and immediately blocked his date’s number, writing him off as just another insensitive asshole trying to take advantage of him. He let his mind relax in the safety of his home and tried to just forget about tonight. Except Logan. He couldn’t get him out of his mind.
Working two jobs had Virgil on the verge of a panic attack almost every night, he couldn’t imagine working three like Logan had. And how long had he been driving that car? Wasn’t it dangerous to drive when your engine doesn’t turn over and you don’t have a window? Those bags under his eyes, was he not sleeping well? Was the money he gave him enough to cover everything?
Virgil exhaled through his nose and flipped onto his back. These were morning problems. Or at least wake up at 3 am and worry about life problems. He glanced at his clock- 10:30. Definitely something to deal with tomorrow.
Intertwined With the Inhuman
Hehe :D Heres the first chapter!
Cross posted on wattpad under Dontjudgemepels
chapter one: and so it begins
(next chapter: 2)
as I looked at the letter for the fifth time today, I still couldn't believe it.
I, Y/n L/n, got a free ticket to japan and a free ticket back as well. I am so happy that I kept entering into those raffles!
I packed up my bags and prepared every thing that I may need while in japan. Another thing that I'm happy about is that, since I kept entering into the raffles I have quite a lot of yen, as well as a free hotel room and some free- non- expiring tickets to various events, which makes my life as a college student extremely easy, and my summer all the more fun!
I texted my group chat:
three best friends in a room:
depression (jerry), Cat lover(you), and smart one (cherry (cher for short))
Cat lover:
I'm so excited, but I'm also sad, since I won't see y'all and I cant afford to pay for the out of county wifi. D:
Smart one:
Well, that part sucks but japan is a safe country, and plus It'll be a good way to relax after the school year. those finals were rough
Depression:
thats for sure, those finals fucked me up, I didn't sleep for four days to study and then right after them I slept for two and a half days straight!
Smart one:
...
Jerry that's not safe.
anyways...
Y/n take lots of pictures, get us souvenirs and have fun! that's the best thing you can do okay! And if you ever feel unsafe just call the cops on a public phone, okay?
Cat lover:
see this is why you're my smart friend, And I'll try to keep that in mind... Anyways, I have a flight early in the morning, love y'all I'll try to take lots of pictures and get you gifts and food lol! ttyl
depression:
...
I thought i was your smart friend too...
Cat lover:
You are!!
depression:
yea sure, anyway, have fun loser, we'll miss you
smart one:
...
cat lover:
...
depression:
?
cat lover:
awww you'll miss me :D
*depression has logged off*
cat lover:
pft...
Smart one:
ignore him, he's right tho, we will indeed miss you! so you'd better have enough fun for all of us! love you, and get to bed
*Smart one has logged off*
I turned my phone off smiling to myself, my friends are so great!
Time skip: the next day (3: 30am)
I ran around the house making sure I had everything, seeing that I did, I called my uber and let them know to pick me up.
I walked out the door, and brought my suitcases out with me, and sat at the curb to wait.
while I waited I decided to play some honkai star rail, since I wouldn't be able to play it in japan (no wifi and all)...
the sound of a car pulling up brought be back to reality, and a girl with rich dark skip stepped out, "are you, Y/n, the cat lover?" she asked.
"yes, are you Trina...?" I asked unsure.
"yes! yes I am, okay hop in, let me help you with your bags." she beamed.
the ride to the airport was nice, the time flew by as I talked with trina, she was a really nice person. As we talked I found out that she also played star rail and we bonded over that, at the end of the ride we made sure to exchange ids (in game).
I made my way into the airport after saying goodbye to trina.
After checking in, checking my bags, and going through security I went to sit at my gate (for the flight).
Time skip: In japan
the voice of the flight attendant woke me up:
"Welcome to japan, and thanks for flying with our airlines!"
and she said that i looked out the window, to see the airport in japan, it was quite something (especially knowing i went across the globe to come here).
"we will now begin un-boarding."
Time skip: at the hotel:
the hotel was beautiful, the pictures did it no justice. The hotel was supposed to be a more modern twist on a traditional japanese design.
There was a closet, a bathroom and plenty of other things in the suite.
I unpacked some into the room, putting my clothes into the closet, my toiletries into the bathroom, and organizing everything else.
after I was settled in and had showered I looked at my To-Do list
1- go to a shrine
'seems simple enough' I thought to myself as I changed into a modest outfit, and grabbed the map, smoothly making my way out the door.
Saying goodbye to the staff as I left and letting them know that I'd be out. (Y/n speaking no japanese the staff thankfully speak english too)
the staff were even nice enough to point me in the direction of the shrine that I wanted to go to.
thanking them, I ran out the door, eager to get there! I made my way down the roads following their directions.
after a while, I found myself lost.
"that's okay I have my phone, Gps is good for this." I said to myself as I pulled my phone out.
"no wifi"
"...l-I forgot about that." I said as I read the error message that showed up as I tried to use the gps app.
as I was cursing my luck a blue haired male bumped into me causing me to drop my phone.
"Sorry miss, here let me get it for you" he said as he bent down and grabbed my phone. handing it to me when he stood back up.
"oh don't worry about it, thanks." I responded
'he's so nice'
I looked up at him to meet his eyes only to be met with a mask covering them.
"say, sir, I'm lost do you mind giving me directions to the shrine." I asked, inwardly hoping that I wasn't bothering him.
"Why of course." he said as he continued to give me the directions
"Thank you so much" I said as he finished, " I really owe you one-"
I was about to offer to buy him coffee but I was interrupted by the shout of a mad in a black coat and glasses, with black hair.
"Dottore! we're going to be late." he shouted
'oh'
"I'll let you get going, sorry to take up so much of your time, thanks again." I said to him as I made my way to the shrine, finding it much easier now that i had clearer directions.
Time skip: at the shrine
I got a fortune slip, and some pictures for my friends. and on the way to the shrine I happened to see a traditional dango stand... so I had to get some
it was very good, Jerry would be very jealous.
The sun started to set, so I finished up my time at the shrine, concluding it by ringing the bell three times and praying.
time skip: at the hotel
It was so fun, as I came back into the suite room I set down my shoes and got ready for a shower, where I washed up for bed.
after the shower I put some of the things I got for my friends into my empty suitcase, before getting into the bed.
Sighing contently, I turned to the lamp next to me and turned it off. trying to get comfortable in the bed (you're wearing a robe to sleep in btw).
as I let my eyes wonder I was met with some lifeless blue eyes.
a small 'ah' left my lips as I shot up from the covers.
the eyes just stayed there, neither of use made an attempt to move.
"wh- what do you want?" I questioned quietly, almost a whisper.
as I said that the man began to move towards me , soon the bed dipped as he crawled towards me. we were face to face, I began to lean away from him, my body leaning into the mattress as his towered over me and leaned in closer.
if we had been lovers the position would have been romantic, but I had never seen this man.
I soon had no where to lean now and he was awfully close to my face. I turned my head away from him, which in turn gave him access to my neck, to which he buried his nose into, and he seemed to be swelling me.
"you smell so good" the ginger haired male said in a deep voice as he attempted to bury his head further into my next, where my neck met my collar bone.
when i suddenly felt something wet on my neck i reflexively pushed him, causing our eyes to meet once more.
"you're quite the interesting human, I wonder." he said as I shook slightly
"who-"
"why do you smell like dottore?" the ginger growled
at the name of the man I'd seen earlier I relaxed some, although i'm not sure why.
"huh, are you perhaps in some sort of relationship with that man?" he asked his voice laced with venom as he mentioned him. "Your body relaxed when I said his name."
I wanted to reply, I just couldn't find my voice.
'who was this man?'
"childe I do suggest you don't go marking that which isn't yours." a deep voice interrupted.
the two of us turned our attention to a grey older man, who was illuminated by the moon light.
the man's above me, childe, obliged and got off of me, which allowed me to sit up and scoot away.
looking at the grey older man once more, I noticed that he had some sort of mask covering half of his face. and I also noticed his eye and how it seemed to glow.
I gazed back to childe and noticed how he looked like dog following its master's rules.
"I do apologize about his behavior, it is almost the full moon and he must not have been able to control himself." the older man said.
I opened my mouth to speak, but ultimately didnt know how to respond, " Uh, I suppose it should be okay... as long as it doesn't happen again..." I said, unsure the entire time.
suddenly I saw a flash of blue and heard a thud.
childe was on the ground four feet from the bed, i suddenly felt two arms wrapping themselves around me, I looked around and I couldn't tell who's arms they were.
childe was on the ground and the older man's was still standing.
the person behind me began to lean down to where my neck met my collar bone.
"it's okay, it's just me" Dottores voice whispered against my skin and he loosened his grip on my waist, allowing me to turn around to see him.
In my fear ridden state I clung to him, my arms wrapped around his neck, and in turn his arms tightened around my waist.
"I'm sorry" I whispered to him, so quietly, that he almost didn't catch it.
he rubbed his hand on the small of my back and glared at childe, and said, "I don't know why you're apologizing, but if anyone should apologize it should be me."
His sudden confession caused me to look up at him, only for him to lean down into my exposed neck (the robe was now slightly disheveled now thanks to childe) and bit down, causing me to gasp in surprise.
a deep sense of sleep soon took over me, as I began to hear dottore gulp , and my vision faded in and out, before faded to black.
A Horrifying Beggining
Part 2 Part 3
My mother had always dreamed of owning a house, big or small; any house would do for her. Unfortunately, she never got to live out that scenario she so desperately replayed in her head, considering how many household members live in our apartment. With two parents, five children, and one dog—which is a large number of mouths to feed—my parents struggled to pay our rent. Let alone buying and renovating a house, which would cost us millions of dollars due to the place we live? Not only that, but me and my siblings are too young to get a job—my older half-brother doesn’t even care a penny for us anyway—so the only solution my mother could depend on was splitting our family.
My mother would take my younger sister and my youngest brother. While my father would take me, our dog, my youngest sister, and my younger brother. While the number of people in each household seems unfair, my parents would be sending money back and forth, and I would be the one caring for house chores and household members.
———————————————————————————————————————————————————
We drove in my father's tiny little car, which had five seats in total. My father was driving, my younger siblings were in the back, and I was in the passenger seat with my dog, looking out the window from my lap. As I watched my puppy's reaction to the first time being in snow, I began to think about how our living circumstances would be compared to before the move. Our plane tickets to Colorodo were definitely not cheap, and our 2-hour car ride doesn’t seem to be either.
I glance over at the little rats behind me, scanning their reactions to the snow. My little sister is passed out, her neck arched forward and everything, while my little brother is looking out the window in awe, occasionally muttering out a few words under his breath. To be honest, I’m also pretty amazed by even the sight of snow. I’ve never seen real snow other than pictures or ads, and the closest I've been to snow is ice packs. But even so, amazing or not, the cold I'm feeling is too much to bear compared to Hawaii’s sunny, tropical weather! To be more specific, in Oahu’s sunny, tropical weather, I try to radiate more heat onto my puppy, as it’s getting more chilly and he’s beginning to shiver. I wait for him to climb off the window ledge to roll up my window. I let him jump down into the back, cuddling with my little sister.
As I watch their short interaction, I glance back to the front, reading the sign ahead of us. The sign read, ‘South Park’. Well, there go my fake little fantasies of the small possibilities of moving to the same place as an old friend. I don’t know where he lives or where South Park is, but I'm pretty sure this ain’t it.
As we drive by, I observe the houses we pass. All the houses we pass are practically copied and pasted in different colors and decorated slightly differently than the other houses. Gosh, who wasn’t creative on their copy of homework? I watched as the small, similar houses soon met shops and buildings. I think I see a mall, a few restaurants, and I think that’s a coffee shop. I take in my surroundings, trying to familiarize myself with the place to slow my nerves down. We pass by what seems to be a high school and an elementary school; we even pass by... wait, IS THAT A MANSION!?
I rub my eyes and take slow, long blinks to make sure I really am in reality. How can I be sure I’m not being fooled and what’s being shown in front of me isn’t the White House but with more money spent into it!? How much are the bills in this place? Can we even afford to live here? Please, God, don’t tell me we’ll live anywhere near that mansion. Not only would I look derpy compared to a goddamn mansion, but we would be kicked out before my father could even pay our bills!
I must have been zoning out from the shock I encountered because I flinched backwards from the sudden background change. Compared to those decently nice houses, this part of the town reminds me more of where I live. But more on the ghetto side than where I lived. Well, I’m sure we’ll at least be able to live here way longer than we could have near that mansion. I force myself back into reality as my father backs up in the driveway of what I guess is our new house. The house doesn’t look that different from the other houses I saw recently; it’s just a bit more worn out and moldy from the outside—and probably inside too.
Once my father parks the car in front of the house, I open and close my car door and walk over to the backside. I slightly crack the car door—to prevent a certain dog from running out—and ‘gently’ shake my little sister awake.
Soon after, we carry our belongings into the household. We set the bins of clothes and other bins onto the floor of the living room, making them all slowly stack up. Because the house is fenced all around, my dog is free to roam around and explore to his heart's desire while being safe and within our reach. Not too long, however, in this snow and compared to where we lived, he could freeze out here in any second! No matter the body fat he has gained!
While my dad and siblings are in the house trying to decide rooms and where to place everything, I walk outside to bring our fat puppy inside. As I'm walking towards the back of the house, I notice a little girl (maybe around my little brother's age?) kneeling down in the snow, sticking an arm out to our dog. She has light brown hair, tied into two short pigtails and held up in dark purple-pink bows. She wore a green jacket, black leggings, and black shoes on both feet. I can’t see her face that well from where I'm standing, but it looks like some dirt is scattered across her face, unlike her surprisingly clean clothing. I’m guessing she’s my neighbor from next door, judging from her appearance at least.
I took a few steps closer, watching the interaction between the little girl and my puppy. I kneeled down before getting too close to them and sat down on the snow. Shivering, I think about how to approach and interrupt the small girl because I don’t think I can handle staying out here for any longer.
I look at the girl’s face, take note of her wide smile, and listen to the small giggles she makes. I looked over at her eyes and also noted that she also had light brown eyes. Not as light as her hair, but not as dark as brown. Suddenly, my breath stopped. Probably from the cold once again. I should really hurry up and get inside.
Without thinking of what to say, my mouth blurts out the first thing I can think of: "Um, hi. The little girl flinches at the sudden realization of my presence. Suddenly, I feel embarrassed and don’t know what to say; the introduction I was preparing myself for is stuck in my throat. "I’m [name]." I force myself out, feeling stupid for worrying so much about a 7-10 year-old's opinion of me. I realize how awkward and straightforward I might’ve sounded and flash her a (hopefully not awkward) smile.
"My name’s Karen.” I heard the girl, Karen, shyly murmur out. She began fidgeting with her fingers, and my puppy ran over to me. She watched as I pulled my piggy-puppy into my arms and lifted him up, her entire focus on my dog. I rub my black jacket sleeves along my puppy’s fur in an attempt to warm him a bit. I walked over to Karen, her face showing she was taken aback by this gesture.
"Do you want to pet him?"
Karen looked up at me, her eyes sparkling and filled with life. I could practically feel her excitement and warmth radiating off of me. "Yes please!" She exclaimed, coming closer to our fence than she had before. I walk closer to the fence and slightly reach my puppy over the fence, him squirming in joy to be petted by the new stranger. Karen quickly reached the same arm out and petted my dog in delight. She had a big, soft smile plastered over her face. Seeing this, I couldn’t help but transform my forced smile into a genuinely happy smile. Karen seemed like a sweet kid after all; one day I might just kidnap her and make her my cute little sister.
"What’s his name? Karen asked me, still petting my puppy but giving me a toothy grin.
"Oxford."
Karen gave me a questioning look, most likely wondering how ‘Oxford’ is relevant to anything about my dog. "Oxford is a shade of blue," I explained. "His eyes were blue but turned out to be hazel. My explanation must have made more sense to Karen because soon after, she let out an ‘Oh’ and began to scratch behind Oxford’s ear.
"Do you like dogs, Karen? I asked purely out of curiosity.
"Yeah, they’re really cute, and soft, and silly, and playful, and—, I listened to Karen’s rambling on why she loves dogs, almost completely forgetting about an upcoming cold that could happen to either of us. But before that, I waited for Karen to finish her rambling. I didn’t want to make her feel bad about the accident!
"Karen, me, and Oxford have to go now. We can come play with you tomorrow! I suggested it to Karen. Karen silently nodded, and her smile softened yet again.
"Bye bye then, [Name] and Oxford! See you tomorrow!", Karen waved.
I smiled at Karen and bid farewell, and I and Oxford walked back inside. As soon as we went through the door, I put Oxford down and went to grab a wipe to clean Oxford’s paws. I peek into a bin, pull out a pack of wipes, and begin to clean him down.
———————————————————————————————————————————————————
The rest of the day I spent cleaning the house and unpacking all of our belongings. So far, there was only one room that wasn’t assorted as the rest of the house, and that would be my room. Well, it doesn’t matter that much; I’ll just spend all of tomorrow cleaning my room. Plus, it’s not like I can do much tomorrow. I’ll be stuck at home since school doesn’t start until next week.
To get ahead of cleaning for tomorrow, I fold a few of my shirts and stack them on my dresser. I continue this until all of my shirts are on my dresser, saving the rest of the unfolded, messy clothes for tomorrow.
My phone suddenly goes off. I walk over to my drawer and turn my alarm off—a timer I set to let me when the food on the stove is done—then shove my phone into my front, right pocket. I walk out my bedroom and make my way into the front of the house, into the kitchen. I open the small pot that’s sat on the stove top and use the spatula placed beside the pot to stir the Kalua pig and cabbage. The food looks good enough for something I merely googled for a recipe. What i’m mainly worried about is the after taste.
I scoop a portion of the Kalua pig into three plates and scoop some rice to go along with it. I balance the three plates over to our tiny bit sized dining room table, setting the plates down—in front of three chairs. I bring out a pitcher of water and cup from the fridge and set it down onto the table.
“Dinner!” I call out, walking back to the Kitchen—digging out some raw meat and kibble. I cut and poured the raw meat and kibble into Oxford’s bowl and placed it down; besides his water bowl.
———————————————————————————————————————————————————
Washing the last plate, I set it down in the dishwasher and pressed ‘start’. I then made my way to my room to prepare for tomorrow.
When I got to my bed, I felt my eye-lids slowly close. I melt into my covers and pull my blanket over my head. Drifting asleep, I finally feel at peace.
As soon as I almost completely go unconscious, Oxford suddenly jumps on my stomach, leaving me there to lay down struggling to breath. When Oxford finally moves off my stomach—still not of me completely—I turned my head to my window, not fully processing everything due to still being half-asleep.
“Oxford, what-“, the words I had intended to voice out to my dog is suddenly stuck in my throat.
Standing outside my window; I see a medium-sized figure wearing what seems to be an orange jacket… or, parka? I’ve never been good at identifying clothes. Wait, no! That’s beside the point!
I instantly sit up and crawl on my knees over to my window. The boy outside my window waves at me causing me to flinch over so slightly. I merely stare at him form my bed, on my knees trying to process the situation I found myself in.
People looking at me from my window is nothing new, it’s happened to me even back at Oahu. But usually the people didn’t climb to the SECOND floor just to watch someone!
The boy points towards the window slider, gesturing me to open the window for him. Deeming him defenseless, I slowly slide the window open, scooting aside the window while a hand, my left hand, stays on Oxford’s back.
The boy leaps into my room, rolling on the ground of my floor, Oxford instantly goes hay-wire and jumps onto the poor boy, biting into his arm. I jump off my bed and pull Oxford into my arms, trapping him. Oxford must have wriggled out my grip and was now on the boy’s stomach, biting his right arm.
I reached for Oxford but I was too late. When I looked at the orange figure, my eyes bulged and I stood there frozen, horrified.
Oxford jumped out my arms and onto the—now dead—orange figure. My scream stuck in my throat, eyes trapped on his messed up, bloody face. God, I think i’m gonna be sick…
Finally coming back to reality, I dash to my phone on my drawer and dial 911. “Hello, what’s your emergency?”
“THERE’S SOMEONE DEAD IN MY ROOM” I uncontrollably shout, slightly shaking and holding in shaky breaths.
“Woah, woah, calm down will ya?” I hear the lady on the other line call, a slight sound of annoyance in her tone of voice.
Is this lady serious? How can she be so annoyed in this situation i’m in!? Suddenly I see a slight shift from the orange body, obviously still in a horrible condition. “Oh my god..” I mutter under my breath, my voice cracking and my throat stuffy. I feel this big lump in my throat, my eyes feel heavy and i’m slightly shaking. This is seriously not how bad I imagined this first day of my move to be, this is on WAY more extreme measures than I could have ever possibly thought..
“Alright, what do you need?” The lady on the other side sighed out, tiredly scoffing.
“An ambulance!”, I try my best to lower my voice for my father and siblings sleeping but this woman is being a real dick right now, I can’t help it.
I lean over to my bin of shirts and grab the first shirt on the top, a white Stitch and Angel shirt. Well fuck, desperate times come desperate measures I guess. I take the shirt into my fist and unzip the boys jacket. His chances of surviving at this rate may be 99% but hey, we still have that 1% worth fighting for! I internally pray to God that he has a shirt underneath and sadly my prayers weren’t answered. I mean, come on! He lives in a snowy hell-hole, are people from South Park indestructible when it comes to the chilly climate?
Gently sliding the jacket away from the boy, I take the conveniently placed water bottle near the ground of my bed and pour it on my favorite Stitch and Angel shirt. Squeezing the remaining water in the shirt onto my lap, I lightly dab the shirt onto the boy’s face. Flinching when he lets out a tired wince. Gosh, now that I think about it, isn’t this his fault anyways?
I look down at my hand clenching my shirt, noticing my knuckles are now white and shaking violently. Please, please, PLEASE don’t die in my house. Let alone my room, this is going to traumatize me enough! I set Oxford on the floor and push him out the room, closing the door behind him. I kneel down before the tangerine and gently dab the shirt on his face. Fuck, I don’t even know what i’m doing or what i’m supposed to be doing!
“Mm, alright, what’s your address?”
I look at my phone—that I put on speaker, across the room—my breath quickening. I didn’t know the address. I look at the tangerine laid before me but with the condition his face is in, I don’t think he can tell me. “I-I don’t know!”
“For fucksake, i’m sending an ambulance to you.” I hear the lady scoff, whispering something to someone near away from the phone call. Before I know it, she hangs up on me. Just great, am I right?
I regain my attention and pull it all towards the soon-to-be-smoothie in-front of me, soaking up any blood left on his face. The only thing I have is hope, hope that this stranger won’t die so that I can be seen as a hero and to make my life easier knowing that throughout all this trauma, I at least saved a person’s life.
“I am so, so, so sorry..” I whisper to the body of flesh apologetically. My vision blurring from the tears forming in my eyes. I don’t even know if this sack of blood and flesh is alive anymore, I don’t even know if i’m doing anything useful anymore. Looking back down to the body, my head begins spinning and I feel like I have to barf. With how much blood I cleaned, I can see the wound clearly now. And boy, it is not pretty. Where is the ambulance when you need it?
Eventually, I hear sirens, the sound coming closer and closer to the house. Past my door, I hear Oxford barking like crazy and my father’s footsteps running through the hall to the front door. God, how do I even explain this? Hearing multiple feet step into the doorway—which I am assuming is the people from in the car—I slowly stand up and head towards my phone. With just the reflection of my face from the black screen on my phone, I can see my red eyes and slowly red-turning nose and my tired-scared expression. As if i’m in a haze, everything goes black and I, temporarily, became blinded then my vision returning to me. My eyesight, still blurry from the tears crawling and scratching it’s way out my eyes.
Looking down at my phone screen—which is now for some reason lit—I stare at it in confusion. There are various pictures of the body in my photos, varying from various angles. How did this get in my phone? Gosh, am I becoming like those phone addicts who start taking millions of photos and videos without even acknowledging it?
I shove my phone into my front right pocket and walk out my door, eyeing the pair of people talking to my father who’s asking them millions of questions, blocking their way. I peek my head past the corner and knock on the wall, gaining the attention of the adults. “In here.” Gosh i’m going to be in so much trouble.
Speed walking back into my room, I lead the adults to the tangerine dying on the floor. Nervously looking back, I see the 2 men rush over to the boy and my father looking down at the boy in confusion, purely shocked. I glance back over to the boy laid out on my floor, following as the two adults rush him out the door and into the ambulance vehicle.
I watch at the front doorstep as the rashly drive away, almost hitting a curb. Closing and locking the door, I anxiously turn around. Fear overcoming me, I try to sneak past my father who seems to still be processing the situation. “[name].” I hear my father call out to me in a stern voice. He doesn’t sound sad or happy, but he doesn’t sound that far from angry either..
“Yes..?” I force out my throat, fidgeting with my fingers as I quickly turn around to face him.
“What happened?” He says, his eyes drilling holes into mine. I gulp, knowing he wants an explanation on who that boy was, why he was in my room with the door closed, and what happened to his face.
“W-well.. he just..”
DAMMIT [name], DON’T BE USELESS, NOT NOW! SAY SOMETHING!
“Oxford bit him and his face.. and..” I mumble out, the best I could. If my anxiety already reached it’s max before, it’s practically spilling out the bar now. I can hear my heart racing, my head is pounding so hard that I feel even more dizzy than I did looking at that kid’s face.
“How did Oxford bite him?” My father asks, this time his voice is raised a bit. With even more anger painted on his face and words.
“He jumped into my room from the window and Oxford bit hi-“
“How he get through the fucking window?!” My dad interrupts me, his voice raised way more than it had been before. He’s clenching his fists so hard that his knuckles are becoming white, I think I just might piss myself because of how scared I am.
I stop fidgeting with my fingers and grab a firm grasp of my wrist with my right hand, silently praying that I get out of this situation alive and deal with it tomorrow. My—once dry—eyes begin tearing up again, my hands fairly shaking. My father must have noticed this because his face softened not too long after this realization. Well, it didn’t soften a lot. But it did soften even just a bit! “Whatever, go sleep.” My dad sighs, stomping back into his room. He’s most definitely going to call my mother about this, I should expect a phone call sometime soon.
Walking back to my room, I see a shadow figure emerge. “[name], what’s going on?” My little sister asks, letting out a big yawn with her eyes lazily looking around the dark. Right, those sirens must have woken up everyone with how loud they are.
A/N: I accidentally deleted the looooong part of Y/N putting her sister (Harper btw) to sleep so… yeah! Also, this is a repost of this story from my other accounts on Wattpad and Quotev and my accounts are the same as this account’s name!
P.S. I’m new to this whole thing so I dunno how to do this stuff, please spare me 😭🙏
I want to write up a little open journal entry about yesterday, and well. Life, lately.
Content Warning for the death of a pet. mentions of abuse. mentions of my abuser.
Today was the day of my childhood pet's vet appointment. BK had been off her thyroid medication since late January / early February this year. I didn't realize how long that was, my dad had been trying and failing to save up for her healthcare. Yesterday, she was panting, didn't want to be touched, on top of other health issues we noticed this/last week, and we knew she was dying. One day off of her appointment, after we finally had managed to save up. When we set the appointment it was a 17 day long wait, and I knew she wouldn't make it. She was put to rest yesterday, I asked my dad to take her to vet to be put to sleep. I've watched too many animals die slowly in this house because we couldn't take care of them. We had saved up just enough for her euthanasia.
The night of the 25th I thought she was already dying, so I pet her and laid my head on her body like one last goodbye but she woke up. I tried to sleep but I had to check on her one more time before I could and when I looked where she usually was, she was still staring at my bedroom door.
When I woke up she was already in a bad state.
I got one last goodbye and goodmorning from her.
she was a really cute cat, I had her since I was 4 or 5. She died at 17 or 16 years old and she was so so so happy and sweet and cute for every single one of those years.
I couldn't go to the vet's with my dad. I had just woken up and I despise crying infront of other people. I don't like it. (I don't like it because I don't look how I should. no other reason. people see a "short little girl" and I hate it.)
We tried to work a bit yesterday, the day she left. But our car's engine light came on, and that was just too much to deal with.
I have no reason to stay in this house anymore. Neither does my dad. Today, 27th of April, 2023, we're going to seriously start moving. Selling things we don't want, packing up what we do want.
We spent this whole year so far trying to just save up enough to move smoothly but honestly? I think it will feel smooth even if we have to buy a car that's definitely a one-way ticket. Even if it's the worst used-lemon of a car we've ever driven before, we'll be somewhere that's finally our's.
This house was the very last bargaining chip our abuser used against us. I cannot emphasize enough that everything was rigged against us from the very start. The mortgage company won't talk to my dad. When our abuser was alive they didn't talk to my dad either- none of the companies did. My dad wasn't the sole owner so he never got to apply for any of the housing aid he wanted to. and then desantis. who doesn't exactly "like" poor people. like us. or anyone remotely like us at all, actually.
If we can just get to somewhere new- be it a mobile home, two apartments, a house in a state like this one, it will STILL be an upgrade. Because the system, including our own personal abuser, never let this be our house. This is just "where we're stuck living," and it's been that my entire life.
my dad wanted so badly to fix this house up and love it but everyday it gets a bit harder to stay here. Everyday a new issue crops up that makes us ask, "why are we still trying to live here?"
even if we did like the house, we're still in a state that get's too hot for us to live comfortably, we're still in a state that wants us dead. we're still cut off from care we need and in a state where everything is too expensive for us.
So it's time to say goodbye and move. I'm only 21 and I don't want to watch my dad die in this house- he's in good health. And we want it to stay that way. We're hoping Maine has clinics that we can afford care from easier. DoorDash usually gets us 20$ an hour, so if we can get a car that can keep driving or maybe fix our current one, we'll be right back on our feet. My dad was looking into DoorDash's e-bike program, he really loves working for DoorDash.
My personal dream is an apartment all to myself that's just the right size for my cat and I, that I can make money off of vocal work & art from. I want to work from home so that I'm never forced outside when I don't want to be or can't handle it. I want to work from home because all my friends right now are online. I want a nice apartment within walking distance of nice places.
I want true freedom for myself and my dad. and I think, we'll get that.
no matter what.
#death of a pet#animal death#and thank you to every single one of you who boosted the donation post or donated to us#you have no idea how much that means to me#i spent 20 years convinced id never be more than a footnote in other people's lives#convinced i was the single exception to human kindess#all because of the poison my abuser fed into my mind#but no#the child i kept alive in my heart was right this entire time#that little kid who feared nothing and no one#always knew he was fucking lying to us#so thank you. for caring. for proving my demons wrong. and for proving that prick wrong.#I knew other people were not as heartless as him.#The one thing I will never regret is keeping hope alive in my heart all these years through any means necessary.#rottingjournals#rotthoughts
Amusement Park
After flipping a coin, Izuku made his choice. He purchased two tickets to the amusement park and sat back in his chair with a soft smile on his face. Who wouldn’t want to go to an amusement park? The whole point of them hanging out was to have fun while they could. Anyway, with that sorted out, Izuku was officially exhausted. The only thing he managed to do after buying the tickets was brush his teeth and collapse into bed.
The next morning he woke with a slow start. Despite having completely passed out that night, he still found himself feeling tired and overworked. With a few cups of coffee, he was able to shake himself of the feeling and get up for the day. After all, today, he was going to hang out with Rody, and that was a cause for celebration. He let out an involuntary yawn as he got himself dressed in comfortable clothes and packed everything he believed he would need for this trip while also keeping it minimal; then, he was off.
He exited his hotel room and started down the hall, pulling out his phone and texting his driver to pull to the front. Thankfully, one of the things he managed to remember to do the previous night was to tell his driver he had plans today. By the time he got down to the ground floor and out the door, the driver was outside waiting for him. He hopped in with a giddiness in his stride and gave Rody’s address to the driver. To fill in a few blanks, after Rody had gotten his pilot’s license, he and his siblings were able to move into a proper home and even afford to go to school.
Speaking of, the moment Izuku stepped out of the car to greet Rody, two energetic middle schoolers tackled him. Not that this was enough to startle him. Instead, he let out a playful roar and lifted both kids into the air as if they weighed nothing. “What are you two doing?” Izuku laughed. “You think you can take me on?” he questioned playfully before he finally let the kids go. “Hey, why aren’t you kids at school?” Izuku finally asked, knowing it was a Saturday.
“It’s Saturday, Uncle Zuku.” Laila laughed. “We don’t go to school on the weekends.”
Izuku pretended to be disappointed in himself even though he remembered that little fact. “I can’t believe I forgot,” he muttered, loud enough for the kids to hear. Of course, Roland had no trouble seeing through his facade; after all, he was about to be in high school while Laila had just gotten in. When Izuku looked up, there Rody was, watching them with a grin on his face.
“You ready to go?” Izuku asked.
“As ready as can be,” Rody responded. With a quick goodbye and a few hugs for Uncle Zuku, who almost wished he would be called Brother Zuku instead, given he was the same age as Rody, they were off on their adventure. “Where are we going anyway?” Rody asked after a minute in the car.
“I got us two tickets to the local amusement park,” Izuku stated with a proud smile. Yes, he was proud that he had found the amusement park and still believed it was a good idea.
“Wow, I haven’t been to one of those….ever,” Rody muttered, which almost caught Izuku off guard before he remembered everything that the other had told him about his childhood.
“Well, today is the day.” Izuku smiled brightly, bumping shoulders with the man, who simply rolled his eyes and pretended he wasn’t excited. Of course, it may have worked if Izuku hadn’t caught the nervous bouncing of his leg, however subtle it may have been.
Soon enough, they arrived and were heading in through the gates. “What do you want to do first?” Rody asked, looking around at all the things that could be seen from the entrance.
In case anyone thinks this is a purely American problem, I present to you: private transport in Germany.
Most Germans agree, it is simplest and more affordable to just take a car if you have to travel any kind of distance. They (say they) love the Autobahn, which in theory and in several areas has no official speed limit. Except in the rightmost lane, where all delivery-type trucks are limited to 100 kmh during the day. (The same as roads outside city limits countrywide.) All other lanes are for overtaking, but no one told the owners of most drivers with a German brand car and/or a professional incentive to do at least 240 kmh, so those drivers are permanently in the leftmost lane. The middle lane is for anyone not filling that 140kmh minimum gap. Weather conditions have to be apocalyptic to change anyone's mind on these speeds.
If you believe most German brand car owners, this doesn't matter, because there's a limit of 120 kmh "everywhere" and the government ruined the German driving experience. My experience is different, but I drive a car that doesn't bankrupt me the second the check engine light goes on, so let's assume they are right and the de facto speed limit of this European safe haven of car culture in 120 kmh on the Autobahn.
Let's say I want to travel from Berlin to Hamburg, two cities connected by Autobahn with minimal changes, in a car, on this fine Thursday evening after most businesses are closed, but before the 10pm mark where trucks can floor it.
Hmm. Ah. I'm using Google Maps for my route planning, which is notoriously... optimistic about travel times in Germany. If you can reach these speeds, you are doing the speed limit where there is one, and at least 150 kmh or more where there isn't. But that math does not seem to be mathing. Maybe it's a distance issue?
Let's say I got flashed doing 150 kmh on a 120 kmh limited stretch on my way to Hamburg, because the one place car culture and anti car culture overlap is in the credo of ACAB. I now have a ticket I need to contest in the city of Flensburg, because that's where Germany punishes drivers. It's a pain to get to from most German cities (probably by design) but not too far from Hamburg. Still, morning traffic around a major city is hell, so let's just drive there right now, after nine pm.
Oops. To anyone wondering, the speed limit around road works on the Autobahn is 80 kmh. And, yes, I have congestion info turned on for these screen shots, so if those two road works were considerably impacting traffic flow or duration, Google would be upset right now. The highway is empty.
But as many people are clamoring, the issue with this approach is that I am travelling from and/or to a MAJOR MAJOR city! Everyone knows the speed limit inside those is 30kmh, max! THAT is what is eating up all the precious speed! PEDESTRIANS. At half ten at night. On a weekday. In the 5 or so kilometers on each side where I am not on a highway.
So let's downsize. Let's say I am leaving from Gera, a town big enough to have an Autobahn running straight through it, but small enough to get blank stares from most tourists. I wanna do some tourist watching, so I decide to spend my Thursday evening driving to a touristy place. Nothing too far, so I can still get home before the weekend crowd ruins the roads. Someplace with decent Autobahn access without excessive 30kmh zones. Someplace with a Lego Store. Nuremberg.
We have yet to hit an average of the 100kmh that trucks limit themselves to during business hours in any of the examples here. And, yes, even the people who love their cars scary much DETEST this aspect of driving in Germany. There's regularly people who "race" their ETA and manage to shave off maybe one or two minutes per 100 kmh.
I don't travel significantly faster by car in Germany than I do when I travel in, say, Belgium, which has a legal highway speed limit of 120kmh, or even than I do in the Netherlands, which has a daytime highway speed limit of 100kmh. I'm just more likely to be T-boned by a dickhead in an Audi while driving on a straight road.
That's alright, you might say. Germany has great public transit. And that is true... Provided you are in a large city, or travelling between large cities on a very expensive high speed ICE. You can also get a monthly ticket for all local public transit in the country for the low, low price of 49 euros... As a monthly subscription. Which, yes, you can cancel monthly, provided you remember. It's not extremely popular (though still far more popular than any conservative politician or Germany's privatized rail network likes), because it does not allow the middle class access to the more comfortable intercity trains, and it's 5-10% per person for someone making what is considered a low wage. (This is very much by design.) And if you get it, you get to figure out every city's individual bus, train, tram and subway system, which is broadly the same but delightfully different depending on where you are, what you look like and what mood the driver is in.
Feel free to compare public travel times from Hamburg to Berlin and Gera to Nuremberg. The latter does not have a viable high speed connection the way the former does. Note how suddenly that great public transit, rather than being more or less a 1-on-1 swap for a car, is barely twice as fast as a fairly in-shape human being pedaling a bicycle along one of Germany's hillier regions with notoriously few bike paths. Maybe there's a nighttime break in there--except that should be a two hour journey, and the German rail system, based on the first screen shots, obviously has the option to run trains beyond 11 pm.
It's almost like even the fairly straight highways, even when travelling between pretty direct exits, were not laid out to be the most efficient connection between cities. Or having an absolute minority of the population driving like gas is free and death has GTA-level consequences discourages the effective use of public infrastructure by all other road users. Or maybe pricing people out of using public transit and then using that "unpopularity" as a reason to not maintain, streamline or extend the public transit network puts more cars on the road and enforces a de facto speed limit in the supposed bastion of car culture on an entire continent, creating a situation where the speed demons are unhappy because they can't go fast and the alternative to getting there and back from anywhere 2 hours away by car is an entire day on public transit or a weekend cycling trip.
Making the roads more car friendly isn't possible. It'd be wildly expensive to build and maintain, require destroying protected nature, seizing private property of both individuals and economically signficant corporations, and the net improvement would be neligble. Or you'd have to privatize roads, which is such an unpopular idea that even car brands don't want it happening.
Improving public transit, after decades of a conservative government and the national mantra of it being natural to love your car more than your spouse (I wish I was kidding), is not popular enough in politics to gain any meaningful traction at the moment.
And despite this entire, screen-destroying rant, Germany is still internationally praised for both its excellent public transit and excellent road network.
The anti-car culture on this website is so fucking annoying. Like, sorry I want to be able to get around without having to spend two hours taking three buses. Sorry I want to be able to go grocery shopping in the winter without having to lug heavy bags home through the snow on a fucking bike
Tirupati Package – A Complete Guide for Devotees and Travelers
Introduction
Tirupati, nestled in the picturesque Tirumala Hills in Andhra Pradesh, is home to Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, one of the most revered pilgrimage destinations in the world. Every year, millions of devotees flock to Tirupati to seek divine blessings, making it essential to plan the trip properly. To ensure a hassle-free pilgrimage, many travelers opt for Tirupati packages that take care of travel, accommodation, meals, and darshan arrangements.
In this blog, we provide a comprehensive guide to Tirupati packages, their types, benefits, inclusions, and travel tips to help you plan your spiritual journey with ease.
1. What is a Tirupati Package?
A Tirupati package offers a pre-arranged travel itinerary that includes transportation, accommodation, meals, and temple darshan tickets. These packages are designed to make the pilgrimage smooth by saving time and reducing the stress of booking tickets and accommodations separately.
Packages are available for different preferences, from budget trips to luxury tours, and can be customized based on your needs.
2. Types of Tirupati Packages
a. One-Day Tirupati Packages
Perfect for those on a time crunch, these packages typically offer a same-day return trip. They include transport (bus or car), darshan arrangements, and meals. Many devotees from nearby cities like Chennai or Bangalore opt for these quick tours.
b. Multi-Day Packages
These packages offer 1-2 nights of stay in Tirupati, allowing travelers to explore nearby temples and tourist attractions such as Padmavathi Temple, Silathoranam, or Kapila Theertham. The itinerary includes darshan, local sightseeing, and leisure time.
c. VIP Darshan Packages
These packages are ideal for travelers looking for a fast-track darshan experience. VIP darshan tickets reduce wait times and include additional perks like priority entry, comfortable transport, and stays at premium hotels.
d. Budget Packages
Designed for cost-conscious travelers, these packages offer basic services such as non-AC bus travel, budget accommodation, and standard darshan tickets. They are popular among pilgrims who want an affordable pilgrimage without compromising on key services.
e. Luxury Packages
For travelers seeking comfort, luxury Tirupati packages provide top-notch facilities, including flight or helicopter transport, stays in 5-star hotels, and personalized darshan arrangements. They are best suited for families or individuals looking for a relaxing and premium experience.
3. What’s Included in a Tirupati Package?
The inclusions vary based on the type of package, but most Tirupati packages generally offer:
Accommodation: Stay in hotels, lodges, or TTD guesthouses.
Transport: Travel via car, bus, train, or even helicopter, depending on the package.
Darshan Tickets: Includes general or VIP darshan tickets to the temple.
Meals: Packages may offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, often pure vegetarian in adherence to temple customs.
Guided Assistance: Some packages include a local guide to assist with temple procedures and sightseeing.
4. Popular Tirupati Packages by City
a. Tirupati Package from Chennai
Many travel companies offer same-day trips from Chennai, which is about 135 km from Tirupati. These packages include an early morning start, darshan, meals, and a return journey by night. Both private and group tours are available.
b. Tirupati Package from Bangalore
Travelers from Bangalore, located 250 km away, often choose overnight packages. These packages include accommodation in Tirupati, darshan, and time to explore nearby attractions.
c. Tirupati Package from Hyderabad
For devotees from Hyderabad, two-day packages are common. They typically offer train or flight travel, darshan, and optional sightseeing tours in Tirupati.
5. How to Book a Tirupati Package?
You can book Tirupati packages through:
Travel agencies offering customized pilgrimage tours.
Online platforms such as TirupatiBalajiPackage.com, which offer several package options.
TTD-affiliated agents who provide official darshan tickets and accommodations.
Tour operators at major cities, specializing in Tirupati trips from Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.
6. Tips for Choosing the Right Package
Plan Early: Book your Tirupati package at least a few weeks in advance to avoid last-minute hassles.
Select According to Your Budget: Choose a package that fits your financial needs without compromising on comfort.
Check Inclusions: Ensure the package includes darshan tickets, accommodation, and transport to avoid additional expenses.
Consider Group Packages: If traveling with family or friends, opt for group packages to avail discounts.
Understand Cancellation Policies: Check the package provider’s cancellation and refund policies in case of unforeseen changes.
7. Unique Experiences to Add to Your Package
Alipiri Mettu and Srivari Mettu Footpaths: Walk the sacred trails leading to Tirumala for a spiritually rewarding experience.
Local Temple Visits: Visit nearby temples such as Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, Govindaraja Swamy Temple, and Kapila Theertham.
Offbeat Attractions: Explore lesser-known spots like Silathoranam, Chandragiri Fort, and the Tirupati Zoo.
Prasadam: Don’t miss tasting the famous Tirupati Laddu, which is a symbolic offering of the temple.
8. Benefits of Tirupati Packages
Time-Saving: Darshan tickets and accommodation are pre-arranged, saving time and effort.
Convenience: All essential services are included, ensuring a hassle-free trip.
Cost-Effective: Package deals are often more affordable than booking services separately.
Personalized Options: Many packages can be customized according to personal preferences and group sizes.
9. FAQs about Tirupati Packages
Q1: Can I customize my Tirupati package? Yes, many providers offer flexible itineraries. You can modify transport, accommodation, and sightseeing options according to your needs.
Q2: How early should I book a Tirupati package? It’s recommended to book at least 2-4 weeks in advance, especially during peak seasons or festivals.
Q3: Are darshan tickets guaranteed with every package? Most packages include darshan tickets, but it’s important to confirm the type of ticket (VIP or general) with the provider.
10. Conclusion
Booking a Tirupati package simplifies the pilgrimage experience, allowing devotees to focus entirely on their spiritual journey. With multiple options available, you can choose a package that fits your budget, travel preferences, and time constraints. Thoughtful And Memorable Personalised Gifts For Men
Personalised gifts offer an ideal way to showcase your unique relationship with the remarkable man in your life. However, finding the right gift can sometimes take time and effort. To help make this task easier for you, today we will explore some of the best personalised gifts you can get for your man.
It doesn't matter whether it's his birthday or anniversary; selecting the right gift is critical to show your partner how much he means to you.
Engraved Watches
There are two types of men: those who can live without a watch and those who don't wear one. If your man likes to wear a watch every day when he gets ready, why not consider gifting him a watch?
While we do understand that exceptional watches can cost hundreds of dollars, there is a way you can turn any ordinary watch into something special. By engraving your watch with your guy's name or initials, you can quickly (and affordably) increase its sentimental value. This added personal touch will make your present stand out.
Engraved Pens
Another item men often have on them at all times is a pen. But only some people use a unique pen. Suppose you are looking for a unique gift your man will use daily; consider gifting him a personalised pen. A pen with your man's name, initials, or a quote will look unique and serve an essential function in his day-to-day life.
Personalised Leather Wallet
While we are on the topic of finding practical gifts, you can also consider gifting your man a personalised leather wallet. Most men wait to change their wallets for years until it defeats the purpose. If you notice that your guys' wallet has seen better days, maybe it's time for an upgrade. Not to mention, you can never go wrong with a leather wallet.
An Experience
Another great way you can give a customised gift to your guy is by giving him an experience. If your husband or boyfriend loves cars, why not buy them a ticket to an F1 event? Gifting an experience will not just make your guy feel special but will also allow you to create memories that can last a lifetime. However, before buying any tickets, it's always better to find out if your guy is available on those dates. After all, you want to avoid buying tickets for an event you or your partner cannot attend.
Selecting the right present for someone special in your life can be challenging. However, by keeping certain things in mind, you can easily find something that fits your partner's wants and needs the best. While you could always go for something generic like flowers and chocolates, personalised gifts will always have a special place in everyone's hearts.
Remember, customised gifts are an ideal way to show how much you care. They can help add a unique touch to practical items, making them significantly more meaningful. If you cannot find a customised gifting shop near you, we suggest you look online for gifting stores that offer such services. It might come as a surprise how little it costs to customise a product.
I see a lot of people in comments and reblogs going 'oh Cleveland is messed up' about the Ohio thing. Or going 'well this is just population density tied'.
I'm here as a former Ohioan from one of the smallest cities to tell you that you are wrong.
There is a lot more going on there than you think. Every small town tends to support a local police force that is aggressive as hell and is HEAVILY FUNDED FROM SPEEDING TICKETS. It can be more relaxed in farmland area, but damn.
Story time!
Back in early 2006 my friend and I had a class assignment for our senior government class. Our task was to attend a city council meeting and report back on what we saw. To save gas we went together. It was also just after the release of KH2 and my friend had FINALLY gotten paid at work so he could afford to buy it. So he had spent the time between school letting out and the city council meeting calling every GameStop in the whole damn county (and the nearest one) to try and find a copy.
He succeeded in one a few towns over. He had no time to get there and back for the city council meeting. He wanted to get it that night because his work schedule would make getting there impossible in the next few days, by which time they might be out of copies. So his path was clear. We would need to go IMMEDIATELY after the city council meeting let out to try and hit the place before closing.
Talk about a tense drive. There were no convenient highways to use, so we headed out through surface roads. When you would get out of one urban or rural area the speed limit would jump up. When you approached another it PLUMMETS WITH LITTLE TO NO WARNING. Especially in small towns with their own police force rather than those that rely on the county sheriff.
My friend was going mad about how unreasonable it could be. You would have basically NO warning, especially at night given the signs were old/dull/poorly reflective. He confessed to me the only time he EVER got speeding tickets was when he was going through towns like this. One mph over or twenty didn't matter to the cops. Your plates mark you as an out-of-towner? You're fair game.
At the time Ohio had a point system on their licenses. He didn't want to risk needless strikes against his license or insanely high speeding ticket fines for going even one mph over in a town of maybe two thousand people. He rarely had these experiences in the CITY we grew up in, or on the freeways and interstate. The small suburban or rural-adjacent towns?
Fucking insane.
In the end we didn't make it in time, though not for lack of trying (and no we weren't going mad dash style). The store closed early despite knowing he was coming. We went through the 'hope and pray we weren't a single mph over in bumfuck Ohio town with a really expensive looking city hall and brand new high end police cars waiting just within the limits of their legal authority' stress there and back for nothing.
Don't immediately tie this map to population centers when police/town financial gain is on the table. Or when racism can also probably account for it. Sure there are going to be some ties there in some areas. But it sure as fuck isn't universal.
Where you’re most likely to get a speeding ticket
Chapter 1: Mutation Day
Link to ao3, where it will also be posted! (Due to rumors of bots scraping for Ai, only registered accounts are allowed to view)
Full chapter is underneath
It was already cold despite it being early fall. The nights were coming faster, the sun was already down for the night. Yoshi walked his usual path after another long day of work. He walked around a puddle, a car drove by, and a rat ran past his feet. It took him a while to get used to those, they are everywhere in New York. Nothing like Japan, how he missed it. When he had first bought tickets to America, it was only supposed to be for a week. He can never return home now.
He couldn’t afford to live in a nice neighborhood. The crime rates in the area were bad, but he was still safer here. The thugs here didn’t know how to fight.
He walked past a broken, barely boarded up window, an abandoned building that people occasionally hid in. Sometimes he would hear quiet whispers, other times loud laughter and the sound of spray paint. What people did in their spare time was none of his business.
But when he heard a loud bang, Curiosity took hold of him. He peeked inside, crouching low to not be seen. Hoping it wasn’t another drug deal, he held his breath.
“These conditions are awful,” a voice said.
“Quit complaining, we’re almost done here,” another replied. Both men were wearing hard hats and orange vests. They were standing in front of a table, but Yoshi could barely see what was on it.
He sighed in relief, they were just some workers. Maybe they’re here to finally tear the building down. That was a bit of a shame, some people used it to hide from the elements. And with the weather getting colder, that would be harder.
Yoshi was going to continue forward when he heard the strangest sentence. “Let’s see if we can mutate these turtles.”
Surely he heard wrong… were they not construction workers?
He peeked inside again as the stranger continued. “The box tortoise hatched a few days ago.” Something glowed in his hand.
“So they’re different ages?”
“Correct.” Yoshi could make out a small vial- no, turkey baster? Not that, it’s smaller, maybe a pipette? Whatever it was, it had a glowing green substance in it, and it was hovering over different kinds of turtles in glass tanks.
Green dropped out. “They’re different ages except for the sea turtle and the red footed tortoise.” Yoshi could hear the turtles chirping loudly now. “They’re two Earth years, only a few days apart.”
Yoshi looked away as the chirping grew louder and hissing joined. The sounds twisted and became drawn out, something deep in his gut knew it was wrong. He wasn’t hearing chirping now, but instead crying. Almost that of a baby's cry.
His eyes grew big and he looked inside once more, seeing the turtles had doubled in size. The smallest- the box turtle, was still absorbing the strange glowing substance. The others had changed completely, they looked less like reptiles and more like… babies?
The sea turtle was crying loudly and the one with red spots put a- a hand against the glass. Almost like it was trying to comfort the other.
Yoshi pulled away from the window. It’s not his business, he shouldn’t be here.
“The mutagen is almost perfect.” He should be leaving now.
Yoshi pulled his hood on further to hide his face. “What should we do with the turtles?”
Walking forward, he tried to ignore the strange men, and the mutants cries. “Dispose of them.”
He stopped. Maybe… no. He turned back the way he came, he’ll find a different route home. Walking in front of the building could be dangerous. It’s not his problem, those turtles were… monsters.
More of them were crying, he heard a reptilian hiss mixed in. Despite that, the cries were so… human. Yoshi walked forward, but each step made it hard to breathe.
He shut his eyes and frowned. “Dammit.”
Yoshi turned around, his hood flying off. He ran to the front of the building and kicked the door open. There the babies were, being put in a large pet carrier. The red spotted one seemed to be the last.
The strange men turned to him, and he realized he was not thinking at all. One turned to him.
“Who is he?” he- it asked! With it facing him, Yoshi could see a strange pink… creature was sitting in the man's chest. No, the man’s face was still, it had to be a robot of some kind. But what is that thing?
The other turned, its coat and vest were also open to reveal another strange pink creature. Both were so wrinkly and small tentacles slid out from the square hole. The robot body held a strange looking gun at him. “A witness,” it answered its companion.
Yoshi jumped with a shout, but he saw something in the corner of his eye. Next to the door were three wooden crates, and on one was a crowbar. He grabbed it and ran, moving back and forth to dodge the blasts from the gun. Pink light shot out at him, but he couldn’t stop to think about that.
The strange creature was able to fire three times before Yoshi reached him, knocking the gun out of his hand. He twisted and kicked, knocking the strange metal body into the table. The pink creature inside it screeched, somehow both animalistic and otherworldly.
Yoshi turned to see the other swung the pet cage back, trying to gain momentum. He gasped before the cage was thrown at him. He caught it, his breath being knocked out of him as it crashed into his chest and stomach. He stayed standing nonetheless and looked up to see the robot body pulling back for a punch.
Yoshi grit his teeth and swung the crowbar forward, it crashed into a glass canister with that glowing green substance before hitting the robot. The top half of the giant vial fell over, the glowing substance spilling everywhere, including Yoshi’s hand. It burned and seeped into his skin. He stared at his hand in horror.
“The mutagen!” one of the creatures yelled.
“Get him!” the other shouted.
Sweat started to cover Yoshi and his stomach and chest hurt. He swayed for a moment before he saw the strange creatures go after him. He turned away from them, still holding the pet cage.
He couldn’t run straight and he bumped into the door, but it didn’t stop him. He could feel his bones shift inside, cracking and popping. It made him nauseous, but if he didn’t get away, who knows what those things would do to him!
He rounded the corner of the building and hid behind a dumpster. His skin felt hot and cold at the same time. Through the ringing in his ears, he heard footsteps. But his vision was going black, so he couldn’t tell if they were running towards him or not. His body continued to shift and all he could do was hold onto the pet carrier.
Breathing was difficult, he needed to be quiet but his body couldn’t get enough air. It was like he was drowning, everything hurt so bad. He tried to hold onto his breath to keep his cries in, but that became impossible. As a last attempt, he bit his lip, but a scream of pure agony still escaped.
~~~
Yoshi felt unusually weak as he unlocked the door to his apartment. He closed the door and locked it, making his way towards the bathroom. It was a small apartment, a single room, small kitchen, and single bathroom. It cost most of his paycheck every month.
He dropped the pet carrier onto the bed and continued forward, opening the bathroom door. Somehow his hand was steady as he turned on the light.
Fear yanked his stomach down as he saw a horrible monster stare back at him in the mirror. He jumped back and hit the wall, it wore his clothes and had his hair, though messy from a hard day of work. The monster copied his every move, he slid down against the wall, trying to cover his face. But his hands just wrapped around the monster's snout. He looked down, seeing his hands matched the monsters. Covered in dark brown fur, nails now pointed.
He covered his eyes. “What have I become?” he questioned.
He sat there for a moment longer before hearing chirping and small baby gurgling. He opened his eyes and looked towards his room before getting up. “The babies,” he whispered.
They continued to chirp and cry until he opened the cage door. He leaned in to see them. “Hello, little ones.”
The sea turtle was on top of the box turtle's shell, who still refused to come out. The red eared slider was trying to hide its head and stare at him at the same time. The red spotted one was in front of them all, growling at him.
“It’s okay, come on out,” he cooed, trying to be soft.
The sea turtle chirped at him, its fear ebbing away. It crawled closer and Yoshi put his hand out. Without hesitation, it happily crawled into his hand.
Yoshi picked it up and held it like a child, sitting on his bed. It giggled like a human baby, though it was much smaller. The strange creature said this one was two years, yes? The oldest of the four. The red one- the red footed tortoise? Was only a few days younger. They were… they were children.
He sighed, “What am I going to do?” He turned to the picture on his nightstand. It showed a much younger version of himself, his arm wrapped around a dark skinned woman. Both of them were in their martial arts robes. “What should I do, my beloved? I can’t care for them, I-”
He was interrupted by one of the babies speaking. He heard small tapping, and he leaned down to look inside the pet carrier once more. The sea turtle tapped on his face as he saw the other two tapping against the box turtle.
“The orange one,” he whispered to himself before reaching in. As he grabbed the box turtle, the red footed one grabbed his arm and he pulled both of them out, the red eared slider following close behind.
“Shhh, I won’t hurt… it,” he promised. He rubbed against the shell. “It’s okay.”
The other turtles surrounded him, sitting on and around his leg. The box turtle’s head popped out, small yellow freckles adorning its face. It saw him, then giggled.
Its smile melted his heart, and Yoshi leaned back, letting it rest on his chest as its arms popped out. As lost and as terrifying as he was feeling, Yoshi could not let harm come to these young ones. He softly whispered to them, “Welcome to the Hamato family.”

French Riviera travel tips
Nice | Villefranche-sur-Mer | Monaco | Eze | Ventimiglia | Food | Travel Tips
The French Riviera is a perfect April vacation spot, with beautiful scenery and architecture, comfortable weather of 60-70 degrees, and delicious food. We landed in Nice, and traveled around mostly by train, which is quite convenient. It's only 50 minutes to train from Nice all the way to Ventimiglia.
Where to stay
Hotel selection to me is all about the location. In Nice we stayed two nights at Hotel Cresp, an affordable hotel right on the Promenade des Anglais, next to the Opera House. There's a small terrace with nice sea views. Downstairs is a good bakery and just a block away an ice-cream shop. Cross the promenade and you're at the beach.
A couple of blocks away is Cours Saleya the famous flea market, and further on the old town. Overall super convenient. It is on the 3rd floor though so a few stairs to walk or there's an escalator.
Because the hotel isn't so close to the train (you'd have to take the tram a few stops) and because it'll be nice to stay in a more intimate town vs. Nice a big city, I also booked 3 nights at an Airbnb at the next town over.
I was really happy we chose Villefranche-sur-Mer. We ended up staying at one of those colorful buildings to the upper right of the picture below. It's about a short 7 mins walk to the train station. The beach here is sandy instead of pebbly at Nice.
Train & public transport
Public transportation is excellent here. The airport especially is well serviced by a tram, connecting the two terminals and also taking you to the town. We took a bus to the Nice hotel since it's on the coast. Then from Villlefranche-sur-Mer we take the train to Nice Saint Augustine near the airport, then hop on a tram for 2 stops for the terminals. Google Maps is super helpful on routes.
The easiest way to get to different towns is using train, which is fast and efficient. It's runs usually every 30 minutes. You can buy ticket the day of, pretty convenient. The only thing to watch out for is making sure you're close to the door during busy commuting hours. We ended up unable to get off the train in time and had to take the train back at the next stop.
Also watch out for pickpockets. For two days in a row we ran into them at the Villefranche-sur-Mer station. They used the same technique: they'd ask you a question and try to block u from enter the car. Then under a sweater or jacket for cover, they'll reach into your purse or pant pocket. So be very careful. We were alert and fought off both attempts
From the Nice Hotel, we took the tram, then train. With luggage and the wait, it wasn't easy. We probably should've requested an Uber Van. You should do at least a few rides in an Uber along the coast, to experience the twisty roads and and the gorgeous views.
Food
I love going to bakeries and grocery stores and seeing what they have. The milk and yogurt here in France is excellent. Fruits are a bit more expensive. Most French are very chill and I tried to speak some basic french like Bonjour, Merci, and Au revoir. And ask for "deux croissant" or "un pain au chocolat". Most people speak English readily. In fact we only ran into one restaurant in Villefranche-sur-Mer that spoke only in French.
For eating out, most restaurants close at 2pm and reopens at 7pm. We highly recommend making reservation e.g. online for popular or highly rated places in Nice. There was a long line at Restuarant Acchiard, good we already booked when we walked by during lunch and saw the line. People eat late and really enjoy themselves.
Packing
I typically book an Airbnb with washer, so I don't have to pack too much clothes. Usually just two carryons for my kids and me. I do wished I packed swimsuit. There were definitely some brave people swimming in 60-70 degree weather at both Nice and Villefranche-sur-Mer.

MY DAILY PRAYER SUBSCRIBER
Okay.... forgive me, but I have to tell you this. The other day when I was looking at the Jimmy Mack site and the offerings and thinking, "Should I do this?" ...the song that popped on the radio just as I had that thought was "Jimmy Mack" by Martha & The Vandellas.! I always "ask" for clear direct signs from spirit. That could not have been clearer. 😂."
