that blue was originally indigo when indigo was first coined as a colour, and over time societal colour perception changed so that indigo was nudged into the zone of purple and Actual Indigo became known as blue. I'm being a pissy old hag from the 1800s upset that things aren't how they used to be. you know. when colours MADE SENSE and blue didn't dominate ONE THIRD OF THE ENTIRE COLOUR WHEEL THAT CONSISTS OF SEVEN BASIC COLOURS
