I have trouble like dreaming or imagining good things happening for myself I literally can’t do it… I can only create a fantasy where I’m not in it. Like I don’t really want anything ??? Like I don’t even do retail therapy or giving myself little treats because I don’t even like treats. I’m not some masochist whose always sad I just don’t have like desires ??? Idk n I’m fine with that but I feel like I’m always told to dream big and be positive but like I don’t care. I don’t wanna be rich or have a boat or expensive clothes or travel I just wanna do nothing is that so weird. I wanna be able to buy food n not have my card decline I want to go places n not get tired n just want to go home the whole time. on this particular year, however, you were spending your christmas holidays in your temporary residence, the house of lamentation.

it was lucifer, believe it or not, who had invited you. he had prefaced by saving how holidays were hectic at the HOL (wasn't everything hectic there-?) but that he and his brothers would greatly enjoy your presence.

and finally... the precious day came!

lucifer gave you his gift when you woke up on the morning of christmas. after he had gotten ready for the day ahead, he had stopped by the bedroom once more to see if you had stirred. and to his surprise, you were up and dressed.

"my, you're up early, aren't you?" he mused, walking over to your sitting figure. you looked up from your d.d.d. and nodded. jumping up and hugging him as tightly as you could muster.

"yes! lucifer, it's christmas!" you cheered.

he laughed in response. his laugh was so warm, it stuck to you like honey. a thought crossed your mind, how long had it been since the brothers had heard such a laugh? especially from their dearest older brother.

to your surprise, he pulled out a small box, not covered in wrapping paper. it was a deep red shade of scarlet, and covered in velvet.

as he handed it to you, he urged you to open the small box. inside of it was a garnet necklace, with the pendant made to look similar to the symbol of pride. lucifer's symbol.

"this is..." you trailed off, unsure of how to finish the sentence. beautiful was not a good enough description, it was magnificent- no- perfect!

"thank you, lucifer." you managed to whisper. it was an amazing gift, that's for sure.

"allow me to put it on you?" he asked, his hand outstretched. you nodded and handed the box back to him.

he put the necklace around your neck, and you quickly walked to the mirror in the bathroom, eyes curiously searching it. in the mirror, it complimented you perfectly.

to lucifer, however, it did one of two things. compliment your gorgeous exterior, and also allow everyone to know just who you belonged to.

mammon was standing in his pajamas, and a pair of slippers holding what you presumed was your present. it was poorly wrapped, but you could tell mammon had really tried his hardest on this one. the perfect bow atop the mess was just the cherry on top.

mammon shoved the present in your face as you let him in and lead him to your bed. he was red in the face and wasn't making eye contact.

as per his request, you opened the gift. although there wasn't much to open, since the majority was ripped already.

but inside, you found that pair of shoes you wanted for so long. it was the exact pair you had been looking at for nearly months now! debating on whether or not to splurge on the hefty price, mammon had decided to make the decision for you.

Lucifer always felt some sort of a care for you, at first he was in denial, but he convinced himself that you were the human for him. His little human, his little red riding hood.

He thought it was quite ironic how this situation was similar to the fairytale he heard you talk about. Little Red Riding Hood, a tale of a girl in a red hood going to her grandmother's house. However, she encounters a wolf who soon eats the grandmother. The fairy tale had many different endings, sometimes the wolf died and sometimes the girl got eaten too. It was an interesting story to him, one of the grim ones of the Human realm.

You had a favorite red robe, it even had a hood. You were so similar to the girl in the tale, and he guessed that now ever since the incident with you and Luke, he was the wolf. Lucifer now sported gray wolf ears and a tail, resembling a form of the wolf from the twisted tale. It was so ironic to him.

"They're so fluffy, Lucifer." You comment as you stroked the demon wolf's ears and tail, his gradient red eyes looking relaxed as you sat with him on his bed. You two were alone, finally getting sometime away from the others for a bit.

"Are they now, do you like them?" Lucifer hums, scooping you into his chest as he wraps his tail around you. "You look quite tired."

A crimson blush of heat ran across your face,  your heart rate picking up in his new enhanced ears as you lean into him. It was cute, how you were flustered so easy by him, he must of been your favorite.

"I am a little, and this is quite comfortable...." You murmur tiredly as Lucifer leans his face in the crook of your neck. With his new sense of smell, your scent was utterly intoxicating. A small growl came from him as he felt you once again become flustered.

"Luci-" You start, feeling the demon lick your cheek similar to what Beel had done earlier. 

"You're cute when you're like this, I'm just teasing." Lucifer defends, stroking your hair as he let you rest in his lap.

The demon wolf felt uneasy, watching you through the halls. You were planning something, and he knew it. Your mind was racing, your heartbeat nervous as your attention was somewhere else. He felt he had to confront you about it. 

As you walked back to your room, you felt a presence nearby. 

"(Y/N)." You heard a deep voice call, you turning around to spot Lucifer. His ears were down, tail swishing as he gave you a worried expression. "Is something wrong?"

"Huh? Not really, why?" You were playing it off, and Lucifer could tell. Your heartbeat ranking up as the wolf stalked closer to you.

"What are you up to, (Y/N)?"

That look on your face, it was obvious. Mammon always had that look, you were planning something. He needed to know what, so he could decide if he should shut it down or not.

"Luci, it's really nothi-"

"You're lying to a wolf (Y/N), I can tell. You might as well just say it now."

A sigh came from your lips, the wolf's ears perking up as he realized you had caved, You couldn't hide anything for long, he was smart enough to see through your guise. That's what having Mammon as your brother would do to you. 

"I was planning on visiting my family in the human world. So I was thinking of ways to go home, there isn't many...." You trail off, your form shrinking as you saw the wolf's piercing red gaze. You knew how much he hated the fact you wanted to go to the human world, but the truth is, you still have family there. You wanted contact with them in some way.

"You weren't planning on telling me this, were you?" Lucifer scoffs softly before laughing, stalking behind you as he flicked his tail. "You are aware I am the one who has access to the portal to your home, right?"

"Yes, Lucifer..." You answer, the wolf setting his claws on your shoulders as he leaned into you.

"How Naive, you never even asked me how I felt about it." Lucifer hums, feeling your body go into fight or flight mode as he held on. "You really are like the girl from that fairy tale."

"What are you talking about, Lucifer!?" You panic as you felt him edge you towards his room. His grip was tight on your clothing, the red robe firm in his grip as he opens his door. 

"Little Red Riding Hood, you told me that story. I'm surprised you can't see the similarities. Isn't it clear?" Lucifer says smoothly, shutting his door as he stood in front of you. A predatory look was on his face as he pointed towards you with one claw.

"You're Little Red Riding Hood." 

Lucifer then points to himself, you staring at him as you backed away. 

"I'm The Wolf." 

Lucifer quickly backs you onto the bed, you being forced to sit on it as he leans in front of you, claw gripping your thighs to keep you in place. A predatory growl came from him as he narrows his eyes, red orbs sparking fear within your soul.

"And you aren't even going to make it to Grand Mother's house."

Separately, a missionary priest from Congo was also killed on Sunday in Mozambique’s coastal city of Beira.

Fr. Landry Ibil Ikwel, aged 34, was stabbed in his community’s house and brought to hospital, where he died from his wounds, according to the Fides news agency. An investigation is underway.

Fr. Landry was ordained a priest in 2016, and belonged to the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

I-Is he waking up?….

Flynn was not sure… he could not see anything yet but he could hear some sounds, he was unable to comprehend them just yet. He can smell some smells but much like the sounds, he is not sure what he is smelling. And finally, he starts to feel his body.

It feels uncomfortable…

His senses were a mess, his memories were hazy. It took him a good while until he finally managed to open his eyes as best as he could, he took a second to adjust to the lights, and his vision finally became clear. Looking around him, he recognized the room that he was in.

It’s Phineas’ room.

It took everything in him to sit up from the bed, his body screaming in pain. Alas, he managed to sit up high enough to lay his back on the headboard. It didn’t take long until he noticed all the medical equipment and medicine such as the many bandages on the nightstand and the IV that was attached to his hand.

Placing a hand over the right side of his face, he felt them, the bandages that are… Well, that explains why he can not see anything with his right eye.

Flashbacks of what had happened to him during the match immediately came flashing in his mind, giving him quite a headache before calming down… and chuckling.

“Ehh~ how unfortunate…”

He looks through the big window of the room. It was night… What a beautiful moon.

“Hmm~ just how long was I out “

Before he could finish that thought, a loud collective gasp was heard and when he looked in the direction of the gasp, he saw Phineas, Carina, and Poppy standing in front of the door, in complete shock of seeing him awake.

… well this is kinda awkward, what is he supposed to say after being out for who knows how long?

He only smiled and simply said with a weak voice “Am Back~”

The second he said that the other three finally broke free from their state of shock.

“I will get Dr. Emily!!” Carina said, as much as she was happy to see him awake now, they needed to make sure he was healthy so one of them gotta go get the doctor naturally

Poppy turns into their doll form, running towards Flynn with unimaginable joy, and jumps and sits on his lap while hugging him “YOU AWAKE YOU AWAKE!! POPPY SO HAPPY!!” Flynn giggles and pats them on the back with one hand “It’s great to be back!” He said.

Before he could turn his attention back to his brother, he felt a sudden and bigger hug come his way than Poppy which almost threw his balance off. Phineas ended up hugging his little brother, shakingly while trying not to hug him too tightly so he wouldn’t harm him.

With a shaking almost sobbing voice he said

“I missed you so much… I-I am sorry, am so sorry!”

Phineas kept repeating sorry countlessly, making Flynn feel bad for worrying his brother oh so much.

He gently returned the hug to him…. Slowly start to shake as well but try not to cry…. As nice as this is… Flynn knows…

The one who answered you is Flynn… well more specifically it was one of his Personalities… do not ask how you now in his mind and able to talk to them just roll with it.

“Life? Moment we cherish?”

Lament tilted his head in amusement of the question, he thought about it for a bit while ignoring all the childish arguing in the background from the others.

“Oh~ how often I lamented about our short eventful lives. Our lives have taken an ironic turn, didn’t it? as cherished memories have been effortlessly destroyed and reduced to ashes~ It's heartbreaking to see how our past joyful moments have been overshadowed by never ending grief, lingering guilt, and an overwhelming negative thoughts in general~… oh how it saddens me greatly.”

Lament placed a hand over the… ‘Burn’ on his right face. Due to the fact that their physical body has been harmed in the real world, their form in the mind space is slowly taken form that represents it current state, despite Lament’s calmness, he must admit it really is painful.
