J&K: IAS Athar Aamir Khan and two other officers granted extended tenure by one year.

Jammu: The Union Government recently extended the tenure of three IAS officers from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir by one each. The circular was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). Following are the names and their designations:

IAS officer Dr Basharat Qayoom, from the 2016 batch, has been serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Pulwama

IAS officer Akshay Labroo, from the 2018 batch, has been serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Budgam, as Officer In Charge (OIC) Litigation.

IAS athar aamir khan, from the 2016 batch, has been serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Kulgam since January 4, 2024.
