Little reminder: if it hurts to take the stairs, you're allowed to take the lift (in fact, you don't need anybody's permission).
#uhhh lift is what we call elevators here so I hope this makes sense lol#I've spent years forcing myself to take the stairs even though it hurts bc I had it drummed into me#that it was morally superior to always take the stairs bc it adds incidental exercise#and obviously exercise is the most important thing in life /sarcasm#but stairs hurt my knees and I'm worried I'll fall these days#so today I took the lift! it was easy and caused no issues for anyone else#and it helped me access public transport easier#disability#chronic illness#chronic pain#warm words#positivity
