Intro thing:

Hi! My name is Quentin/Quin(n), I am 24 (25 in July ;-;), My pronouns are they/he and I am Quite Queer. I have a terrible mixture of mental illness and marijuana in me that has kept me trapped in a Fallout brainrot for almost 10 years now. I'm not very open about said ailments, but I will be open with the fact I am autistic and do struggle with social interactions. I don't need tone-tags, but if you think it would be helpful for context purposes, I appreciate them :)

Okay! We'll start with my background :)

This is my main blog. I have an old Tumblr account I used from like 2015-2019 but I wanted something new since I'm not active in a lot of my old communities on that one anymore! (Also the fact I was a teenager then and I very much Am Not anymore, but that's besides the point.)

This account is primarily dedicated to my Fallout hyperfixation. I will mostly post about 4 since it's my personal favorite, but I do post about New Vegas a bit as well (going thru my first hopefully full run of the game currently). I have played a bit of 3 but not enough to really post anything about it. I've probably played that one the least despite the fact it was my first fallout game lol.

I've been in the Tumblr fallout community before, around 2015-16 when 4 was released! That's what brought the game to my attention in the first place actually. I started this account almost a full year ago because I wanted to be able to interact with the community again, especially with the show coming out. I'm really happy I did that because seeing the Fallout community alive and thriving really is wonderful :')

As for my characters... I have a number in the works, but my primary one is Julia! I'm working on having a tag specifically for her, but for now it's mostly just her name or 'FITD' because that's her story! (Also I'm sorry her summary and descriptions are so bad currently, I promise it's mostly intentional for now. The summary and other stuffs will be updated with the story! Trying hard to tag things correctly while avoiding overt spoilers is... difficult)

We also have my new boy, Courier Six, who does not have a lot posted yet, but I'm already working on changing that! Since it's my first actual time playing NV with the intention of completing it, I am giving him the 'memory loss' trope just because that gives me some slack for not knowing 'everything' yet. I don't plan on writing a whole fic for him, but have been contemplating over the comic-book style of story telling instead!

Random stuff that I feel is useful to this post:

I don't like calling myself an artist specifically, though by technicality I guess I am. I am self taught (mostly), with trad/digital art and writing. In HS my art classes were the only ones I was ever really successful in, and in college it was my primary focus (aside from required courses, which I failed all of...)

Other than drawing/writing I do consider myself quite the creative. I've been cosplaying for over 12 years (I think. It's been over 10 I know that lmao) and thanks to that and a family history of upholstery, I do enjoy sewing projects! Being in the alternative scene for so long has also helped with that. Currently I have a patch jacket that showcases a variety of these skills (I painted a lot of the patches and hand sewed everything onto the jacket), but most of my cosplays have been focused on Fallout for a bit. I have a full MacCready cosplay and a vault suit (I need to dirty it still), but I wanna do more than that! (Also working on pip-boys for me n my bf but finding the right pieces has been hard for whatever reason)(It's the fuckass lock mechanism that no one makes irl apparently)

More random artsy shit I do is kandi, though its something I just kind of pick up from time to time. I do also like the idea of scrapbooking style pieces but we'll see if I ever post that…

I am a fan of stuff other than Fallout, though most of it comes and goes. My primary hyperfixation aside from Fallout is just music as a whole. I primarily enjoy alternative genres, specifically anything goth, punk, rock, that sort of thing. Though I have been enjoying more folk/country styles, so long as they have that alternative edge to them (Amigo the Devil my beloved <3). I played violin for like 8 years when I was growing up and I sort of taught myself acoustic guitar, though my primary instrument now is an electric bass! I've had my dear Rosalie for over a year now thanks to my wonderful bf and I can play a small variety of songs (Mostly Queen and MCR). I would theoretically like to be in a band someday, though I don't have high hopes for that currently as I suck at practicing. Also I don't have her right now :'(
