My new found love for Jared Padalecki

Hi there!

First of all: Wow you’re still following me?? Amazing! Thank you! <3 I haven’t been on much because ever since work ate all my free time and passion, I lacked energy and enthusiasm for Supernatural and Fandom/Tumblr. Luckily, visiting my first (and hopefully not only) Supernatural Convention ignited that flame again.

Being there, seing the actors I watched for so many hours being real, actual humans, it blew me away. It shouldn’t have, but it did. They are real. And they care about us.

For those of you who follow me for a while now (or actually went through my posts) know that, as much as I always loved Jared, Jensen is the man of my dreams. I’m a Dean/Jensen girl. Or better: was. Because meeting them changed me a bit. I am still an avid lover of one Jensen Ackles (who is so firm and his voice is all rumbly and just...hnnngh) but Jared took my heart by storm.

He is wonderful, he makes you feel loved and welcome and warm by just being close to you. He gives the best hugs, he looks at you with his full focus and he tries to give every.single.fan. a special experience. Despite being dead tired and at it for hours. That’s something I just want to put here. I watched him, I interacted with him. So I can say this with quite some confidence: He gives so much of himself to his fans, he tries (and succeeds) so hard to give everyone joy and happiness. It’s admirable. I was dead on my feet Sunday Night. And I didn’t land on Saturday and had to be up super early and then interact and be ON for HOURS. But he was. And he still smiled warmly at us, tried to make our interaction personal (he thanked me in German with “Dankeschön” and when I replied a surprised “Bitteschön” he winked at me!) and hugged those who looked in need of one.

I don’t say that the others weren’t amazing as well. Jensen tried just as hard, in his shier ways. He was in great spirits, he made us laugh and verrrry happy (it was so much fun watching the fans after they got his photo op). And I love him very much. But yeah, Jared? He is something else.

So add me to the list of people who will punch you in your face if you talk shit about him. He is human. You might not always agree with him (hell, I don’t), but he is still better than most of us.

PS: I want to do a post about my NOLA experience, which was awesome, but I had to say this first.
