Girlll I just graduated 🤪 and I am an Aizawa whore so I was wondering if you could write a Aizawa x reader who just graduated. She has been having a crush on him for the longest and a few months after graduating she somehow crosses paths with him and ykyk something blossoms between them ;)
girl, you and me both 🍬
Tumblr media
6:45 am, 8/14
As you made your way through the busy and bustling streets of Musutafu, you found yourself at your local coffee shop once again before your 9-5 shift. Since your graduation from UA 3 months ago, you have just been working an office job in the city while figuring out your career plans. Although studying in the hero course, your heart wasn't really set on becoming a hero.
After placing your order, you step out of line and take a seat at a small table in the corner. You pulled your laptop out to review your tasks for the day. You do this every morning before you even go into work. You always make sure to get to the coffee shop early so you'll have the time to do this.
As you're going over your tasks for the day, lost in thought, you hear your name being called.
"Y/N?"
You look up to see none other than your former teacher, Shota Aizawa. His comforting and familiar presence immediately washed over you. His reassuring demeanor was truly what made you fall for him months back. Thinking back on it, you cringe at the fact that you probably made your feelings for him a bit too transparent.
"Aizawa," you greeted him with a hesitant smile. Your heart begins to race.
"Good to see you, Y/N. How have you been?" he questions, his tone as gentle as ever.
His question lingered in the air as you paused to clear your throat. "Fine, fine." You replied. "Still figuring things out, you know?".
He gives you a reassuring nod at your response, "I can understand that." He says.
You grab your drink and make your way back over to Aizawa. He takes a seat at your table, and you can't help but feel a bolt of excitement at his proximity.
"So, how's teaching been going?" You question.
He chuckles. "Busy as usual," he replies, sipping on his coffee. "But I can't complain. It's what I signed up for."
You nod and shoot him a smile.
"What about you, Y/N? How's office life treating you?" He asks.
You hesitate before answering his question. "It's.. okay." You answer. "It's not exactly what I pictured myself doing after graduation though."
Aizawa gives you an understanding nod. His expression is comforting. "I get that," he says. "I'm sure whatever you do will be great." He gives you a smile that makes your heart race.
As you continue your conversation, you take notice of his lingering touches and prolonged stares. You find yourself leaning in a little bit closer to him. The barriers that once separated the two of you from forming a connection have slowly melted away. The undeniable chemistry between you two is no secret. With each subtle glance and shared touch, tension grows between you two.
As Aizawa leans in, he keeps his gaze focused on your lips. You feel a flutter of anticipation and a hint of nervousness. His presence, though familiar, carries a different weight now that you're no longer his student. You try to maintain your composure, but it's hard to ignore the rush of emotions swirling within you.
Meeting his gaze, you find yourself drawn into the depths of his eyes, searching for any hint of what he might be feeling. His expression is unreadable, yet there's a warmth in his gaze that sends a shiver down your spine.
And then, without another word, he leans into you. His lips brush up against yours with a gentle passion that takes your breath away.  The loud noises of the cafe that once surrounded you two have seemed to fade away.
His warmth washes over you as your lips linger a moment longer. You can taste the coffee on his lips. His embrace pulls you closer as if he's trying to bridge the gap between your souls.
As the intense moment comes to an end, you catch your breath, your eyes meeting Aizawa's. His gaze softens on you as he reaches to brush stray hair out of your face.
"Y/N…, I wish I could've done that a lot sooner." He whispers.
A rush of warmth spreads through you at his words. "Me too" you admit.
As you both remain in this moment, you are locked in each other's gaze. His touch brought your past feelings back to light. You felt at home with him.

A song that reminds you of each of your Eddie's + reader- and GO!
ooh wait this is a fun one. ok i had to think about this one but i think i've found them:
boxer!eddie and reader remind me of somethin' stupid by frank sinatra and nancy sinatra. two little black cats in love, and the chorus "and have a drink or two, and then i go and spoil it all by saying somethin' stupid like, "i love you". i can see it in your eyes that you despise the same old lies you heard the night before. and though it's just a line to you, for me it's true and never seemed so right before."
rockstar!eddie and nepobaby!reader will forever remind me of faithfully by journey. i mean, "and lovin' a music man ain't always what it's supposed to be. oh, girl, you stand by me. circus life under the big-top world. we all need the clowns to make us smile. through space and time, always another show. wonderin' where I am lost without you. i'm forever yours, faithfully."
this one is going to be so fucking corny and idgaf!!! but for modern!eddie and mean girl, idk why true love by p!nk always comes to mind. "at the same time, i wanna hug you, i wanna wrap my hands around your neck. you're the only love i've ever known. but i hate you, i really hate you, so much i think it must be true love. just once try to wrap your little brain around my feelings, just once please try no to be so mean."
cowboy!eddie and sweet girl have always and will forever remind me of love is like a butterfly by the one and mother fucking only dolly parton our lord and savior. "love makes your heart feel strange inside, it flutters like soft wings in flight. love is like a butterfly, a rare and gentle thing. i feel it when you kiss me, it happens when you're with me, that rare and gentle feelin' that i feel inside. everyday is springtime, and i am only happy when you are by my side." tbh i could quote the whole goddam song.
bouncer!eddie and bartender!reader this is another corny as fuck on so hold on, but it's you shook me all night long by acdc lmaooo. sexual chemistry through the roof, so much that it's shocking and appalling?? "she was a fast machine, she kept her motor clean. she was the best damn woman that I ever seen. she's one of a kind, she's just mine, all mine." idk it's silly and slutty and fun just like them!
for janitor!eddie and teacher!reader i've always felt like forever by the beach boys is their song. super sappy and romantic and devoted and that's how they are to each other <3 "if every word i said could make you laugh, i'd talk forever. i asked the sky just what we had, it shone forever. let the love i have for you, live in your heart and be forever. forever, i've been so happy loving you."
older!eddie and reader, this one was hard bc i felt like there was so many to chose from, but ultimately i went with the one song that always takes me back to them and that's chemtrails over the country club by lana. the more i listen, the more it's their song bc "go to the market, the kids' swimming pools. me and my sister just playing it cool, under the chemtrails over the country club. meet you for coffee at the elementary schools. we laugh about nothing as the summer gets cool. it's beautiful how this deep normality settles down over me. i'm not bored or unhappy, i'm still so strange and wild. washing my hair, doing the laundry. late-night tv, i want you only. it's never too late, baby, so don't give up."domestic and sweet.
this is also so silly and sweet and the best thing ever but for hockey!eddie and reader i fucking love the song hello, hello by elton john (yes from gnomeo and juliet lmaoooo). "never gonna find anything to change my mind, famous last lines of a fool. hello, hello. my, my, my, what have we here? sniffing all the flowers, running through an autumn shower, compare it to someone else like me." so fucking silly and so romantic like it's them. happy and silly and in love.
and i know you guys are making fun of me and i don't give one fuck bc i know you're about to do it again with this one bc it's coming completely out of left fucking field for these two!! for mafia!eddie and reader... babe i'm saying it, it's i see the light from tangled yes it fucking is. "all that time never even knowing, just how blind i've been. now i'm here, blinking in the starlight. and it's warm and real and bright, and the world has somehow shifted. all at once everything looks different, now that i see you. all those years living in a blur. if she's here, it's crystal clear, i'm where i'm meant to go." and listen, i could write a goddam essay on how this is them, both of them. living their lives before, thinking they're content, until they met the other and now they're confused how they were ever without the other. real ride or die shit.
for dom!eddie and sub!reader, i always think of i don't want to miss a thing by aerosmith lol. really bc they're a little chaotic but they really do love each other sm. true soulmate shit. "i could spend my life in this sweet surrender, where a moment with you is a moment i treasure. i don't wanna miss one smile, i don't wanna miss one kiss. i just wanna be with you, right her with you, just like this. and i just wanna hold you close, feel your heart so close to mine, and just stay here in this moment for all the rest of time." overly passionate and lovey and dramatic which is just their style.

Understanding class assignments in UA and Japanese schools in general
In the Student Template Questionnaire, there is one particular question I realized had never been addressed, that I think a lot of people should understand the nuances of!
What school/class or organization do they belong to?
This is the question that fills out the "Affiliation" line of the "Personal Data" section student template:
Tumblr media
So, if your character is a student, what class should they be a part of?
First of all, let's talk about structure:
Japanese high school is only 3 years, unlike American high school which is usually 4. (I'm sure other countries are different too, but I'm assuming most of the people who visit this blog are American-centric.) Given that, that means Izuku and his friends in their first year of high school are actually in the equivalent of American 10th grade, which is usually in the 14-15 year old age range.
Unlike American high school, where students are separated by class schedule and students have to leave the classroom every period to physically go to their next class (ie. you have Chemistry in first period and History in fifth period, but your friend from Chemistry in first period could have Art in fifth period instead), with the class rosters changing every semester, Japanese high school students are assigned one class (like 1-A or 1-B, or so on) which they stick to for the rest of their school career. This means they have the same classmates every single year, which is why the homeroom teacher is so central--they ALSO stick around for the entirety of the students' school careers! Homeroom teachers are more than teachers, they're more like parents or guardians relationship-wise, and keeping the same one throughout the students' school career lets them build trust, enough so that if the student is having any personal issues, they'd feel comfortable talking to their homeroom teacher about it. (As an aside, as well, usually these classes stay in one single classroom too, with the exception of classes that need special facilities like PE or Home Ec, which really drives home the idea that "Homeroom" really is supposed to be "home" for both the students and teacher! And unlike in American high school, the students don't change classrooms every period--the teachers do!)
The classrooms are not actually physically labelled, so 1-A is not a classroom number assigned to a specific room. The names of these family-like classroom units are designated by the YEAR the students are in, with the letter just being their assigned grouping. (AKA they're the first 20 students so they get "A", and the next 20 students get designated "B", and so on.)
Student numbers (ie. Izuku being student no.18) and seating order are determined by alphabetical order. Specifically Japanese alphabetical order.
So what does that all mean for Class 1-A?
Formally, they're not actually called Class 1-A, they're actually just Class A. They're 1-A because this is their first year of high school (which, as mentioned before, is the equivalent of American 10th grade, but if you were going to use American terms, it'd be more accurate to call them "freshmen" instead of "sophomore" like 10th graders are supposed to be), but when they move on to the next school year, they don't keep that name. In their second year of high school, they'd be Class 2-A, and in their final year of high school, they'd be Class 3-A!
So, for example, the Big Three being in class 3-B? That means that when they were first-years, they were in class 1-B! (That being said, the "A" and "B" and so on are not the designation of student ranking, like the UA entrance exam scoreboard might lead you to believe--I had a few friends who thought that, but it's not actually the case that 1-A has stronger or smarter or just overall higher-ranked members than 1-B. It's random, just like any other high school rosters are made! It just seems like 1-A has a lot of powerhouses because they're the main characters, but that's not to say 1-B is any less skilled or powerful than them. If this all was the case, I highly doubt our esteemed Big Three trio would have been in Class 1-B all the way up to 3-B!)
This also applies to the other classes, like the Support Course or Gen Ed. They may be labelled "1-C" or "1-E" or whatever else, but again, those Letter designations are just their grouping, not their ranking within the school, especially since it would have been really hard to quantify if the Support Couse was less powerful than the Hero Course. UA just happened to designate the first 40 students as Hero Course, the next 60 as Gen Ed, and etc etc for Business and Support too.
As for the student order within the classrooms themselves? Again, not a determination of power, it's just a simple matter of alphabetical order by last name. If you're standing at the front of the classroom looking out at the desks, the seating arrangement starts at the leftmost side of the room ("A" names), going front to back (not left to right like Americans might!), and then going to the next row to the right, and so on. (In the following image taken from the MHA wiki, the "front left" of the classroom is Aoyama, and the "bottom right" is Momo. Though keep in mind that the alphabetical order here is based on the Japanese alphabet, not the American one.)
Tumblr media
Now, what does that mean for YOUR characters?
Well, if you want to have your characters be in the same class as the canon characters, certainly feel free to put them in 1-A or 1-B! (Keep in mind though that class sizes in Japan tend to stick around 20, but you can play by your own rules for your own story/rp/whatever.) However, if you want them to be in the same class as the canon 1-A but you've listed your character as 17? They wouldn't be in 1-A, they'd probably be 3-A. (17 is a bit of a nebulous age though, so it depends on what year you'd have them in--if they're "seniors", they'd absolutely be in their 3rd year, but if you think they have another year of schooling ahead of them, maybe put them in 2-A?)
If you want to put them in their own class entirely instead of bunching them in with the canon 1-A or 1-B? Make a whole new classroom if you want! Assign them to 1-C (and push back the Gen Ed Course and the others another letter, if you plan to involve them) since the courses seem to be grouped together and it'd be weird to have a new Hero Course be assigned 1-L or something when the others are A and B--though you could do that if you want to! Up to you!
Similarly, if your character isn't in the Hero Course at all, assign them a different classroom like 1-C or 1-H or whatever! (I don't remember which letters were assigned to each course, but I'm sure you can look it up if you really want to know it rather than making up the assignments for yourself.)
Also, if your character doesn't go to UA at all? The same rules apply. Shiketsu High School and all the rest have their own 1-A, 2-B, etc. And even middle school has the same structure, since like high school, it's also 3 years! Izuku and Bakugou would have been in year 3 of middle school at the start of the series.
Finally, regarding the seating order: I see a lot of people put their characters at the end/last row of the classroom, should they be added to the canon classes, which is totally okay of course! But if you want your character to be there from the start, they'd probably have their own permanent seat number. If you plan on using the Japanese alphabet arrangement, just look at a Japanese kana chart and see where they would go in the roster--for instance, if Kojiro Bondo from 1-B were in 1-A, his seat would be right between Bakugou and Midoriya (because "ho/bo" comes after "ha/ba", and both of those come before any M names).
If you don't plan to use the Japanese alphabetical order, then you can feel free to use the English order if you like (especially if you're not mixing with the canon classes which already have their own established orders you may not want to mess with) or, as with American high schools, don't use an order at all and let the students just sit where they want. Up to you!
Hopefully that helps you understand how to enroll your character in school!
One last note? This is specifically for character designing more than development, but each department has its own school uniform! It's very subtle, but the epaulettes (I think that's what they're called?), lapels, and cuffs of the uniform jackets all have different stripe designs and arrangements/number of buttons!
That's all for now. Hope these tips help!

<< this a genuine question and not intended to be hateful, apologies in advance if my tone comes off strange. I am trying to word this correctly. >>
I have seen that you post on Twitter occasionally about aizawa x student ships. As a former anti who has decided to take a neutral stance in the pro/anti debate, there are still things I don't understand. I'm curious as to what is interesting to you about those ships. Why does the age gap not deter you + what is appealing to you about it? This is a GENUINE question, i really truly want to know your perspective. I don't mean this to be condescending, honest. I truly would like to understand this. I see lots of teacher/student ships with aizawa, and I can't wrap my head around them. So I'm curious, truly, what is the appeal? Is it chemistry? Visually appealing? Is it appealing because of the "forbidden love" aspect, or perhaps a way to cope with personal emotional turmoil? Of course you're only one person, and you do not speak for all shippers. I hope that it's fine to ask this. If you'd rather not, then kindly disregard this.
either way, I wish you a lovely day. 🩷
Hello, anon!
Firstly, I want to say I am SO proud of you for getting out of anti circles. As a former anti myself, I know it's scary to have all your friends turn on you for enjoying fictional content. Secondly, there's no such thing as proshippers, as much as Twitter would have you believe. That was the fandom normal until about 2014 when fandoms shifted violently into puritanism. Proshipper literally just means if you find something you dislike, you simply scroll past, block, or mute, and you DON'T start dogpiling or making everyone look at whatever grossed you out. Funnily enough, I dislike a TON of 'proshipper' norms, like noncon, pedophilia, and even incest in most situations.
However, to answer your question:
To be honest, and this might not be the answer you're looking for, Horikoshi once mentioned he wanted UA to be a college. But Shonen Jump told him it would do better if it was teenagers, as most shonen anime/manga are often. That said, while I know the students are technically teenagers, I never see them as such, I always see them as older.
This isn't me going 'haha now antis can't get me!', because let's be real, antis will blame you for aging them up too. But the reality is, I never really see them as teenagers, either, and most of my favorite fics tend to age up the students as well. MOST Aibaku/Shinzawa fics have them getting together after graduation and I think most people in the MHA fandom are also in their 20s/30s and want something more 'our' age and speed.
My most popular fic for MHA is Cynocephaly, an Aibaku fic, where you probably found me. I also am not shy about RT Aibaku, Shinzawa, and Dabibaku (a personal ship of mine I adore but there's hardly any food. Boo.)
However, I think the appeal for me is that Aizawa just 'works' with the students. I know that might sound strange, but considering he's now canonically their teacher for 3 years, he's seen these kids at their lowest. He's seen them get kidnapped, mutilated, disabled, even /killed/. And we all know they trust him with their lives, as he's put his own on the line for them.
In my own experience, I see Aizawa as a gay man. He doesn't act all grossed out around Nemuri, and while Miss Joke is played for--well, laughs--he just seems more comfortable and vocal around men. And obviously, I don't see Bakugou as straight at all, I ship him with men. In my mind, they work together. I don't really see it as taboo. I've been a teenager learning about my body and had a gym teacher with melon-sized biceps and pecs walk in. I've seen my teachers wearing low-cut blouses and their cleavage on display. I've had teachers show me more love and support than my own parents, and while I can't say I've ever had the 'my teacher is hot' thoughts, it's anime. EVERYONE IS HOT.
I can't speak for everyone; there are student/teacher shippers who even age UP Aizawa and make the students younger but that grosses me out, tbh. I guess the long and short is, I think they're very hot people, they work well dynamically, and it's all fictional anyways. I'm just playing with barbie dolls the way people play with their OCs.
I do want to thank you for being very kind and wondering 'why' instead of immediately pointing fingers and screaming like most other people do. Fiction is just that: fiction. None of my ships are the golden rule and squeaky clean. There are SO many fic writers and artists I've befriended because I saw a WEIRD ship and went 'why do they like this?" and now they're a fantastic friend.
Asking 'why' and gaining insight is how fandoms stay fun for everyone. You might not like student/teacher, or even agegap stuff and that's 100% okay! But I do think it's really cool and brave of you to ask me why *I* like those things. Maybe you'll learn something from it. Maybe other people can put their own insights into it?
But the long and short is that Aibaku, for me (and Shinzawa to a point) feels really comforting. Having someone you love who loves you wholly in turn and understands your struggles is something I think everyone wants in their life. Stability and safety.
Stay curious, my friend, and thank you again for stepping out of the anti zone. I promise you'll be okay. It's safer and happier here than people realize.

My name is Walter Hartwell White. I live at 308 Negra Arroyo Lane, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87104. This is my confession. If you're watching this tape, I'm probably dead, murdered by my brother-in-law Hank Schrader. Hank has been building a meth empire for over a year now and using me as his chemist. Shortly after my 50th birthday, Hank came to me with a rather, shocking proposition. He asked that I use my chemistry knowledge to cook methamphetamine, which he would then sell using his connections in the drug world. Connections that he made through his career with the DEA. I was... astounded, I... I always thought that Hank was a very moral man and I was... thrown, confused, but I was also particularly vulnerable at the time, something he knew and took advantage of. I was reeling from a cancer diagnosis that was poised to bankrupt my family. Hank took me on a ride along, and showed me just how much money even a small meth operation could make. And I was weak. I didn't want my family to go into financial ruin so I agreed. Every day, I think back at that moment with regret. I quickly realized that I was in way over my head, and Hank had a partner, a man named Gustavo Fring, a businessman. Hank essentially sold me into servitude to this man, and when I tried to quit, Fring threatened my family. I didn't know where to turn. Eventually, Hank and Fring had a falling out. From what I can gather, Hank was always pushing for a greater share of the business, to which Fring flatly refused to give him, and things escalated. Fring was able to arrange, uh I guess I guess you call it a "hit" on my brother-in-law, and failed, but Hank was seriously injured, and I wound up paying his medical bills which amounted to a little over $177,000. Upon recovery, Hank was bent on revenge, working with a man named Hector Salamanca, he plotted to kill Fring, and did so. In fact, the bomb that he used was built by me, and he gave me no option in it. I have often contemplated suicide, but I'm a coward. I wanted to go to the police, but I was frightened. Hank had risen in the ranks to become the head of the Albuquerque DEA, and about that time, to keep me in line, he took my children from me. For 3 months he kept them. My wife, who up until that point, had no idea of my criminal activities, was horrified to learn what I had done, why Hank had taken our children. We were scared. I was in Hell, I hated myself for what I had brought upon my family. Recently, I tried once again to quit, to end this nightmare, and in response, he gave me this. I can't take this anymore. I live in fear every day that Hank will kill me, or worse, hurt my family. I... All I could think to do was to make this video in hope that the world will finally see this man, for what he really is.
I had an English teacher like that once

"sorry?"
everyone in the class exclaimed to the news their teacher relied on them. mr.aizawa sigh and was dumbfounded by his students reaction, i mean he at least expected his students to at least be happy? not to gave him a dull reaction. isn't this a good way for them to interact with eachother and get to know one another better so why are they acting like its the end of the world?
"well you guys don't look happy about it" mr.aizawa said as the students quickly shook their heads.
"were overjoy sensei! but why now? is there a sole purpose for this task?" kirishima asked as the others agreed to it.
"midnight though this was a good idea for you guys, think about it as taking a little break. im not sure why she suggested it now, nedless to say kids she's the one that choose your partner for this project. you guys are to stay with your partner for 30 days and get to know eachother better, matter of fact socialize with them more, and this would count as a big grade in your finals. anyone who objects would fail my class, i'm sure none of you have any problem with it"
"yes, mr.aizawa" everyone said.
satisfied with the answer, mr.aizawa in the chalkboard wrote down his students names and who will they be partner up with.
y/n was looking for her name and it seemed that mr.aizawa wrote their names based on the rows they were seated in. row a contained hagakure who got paired up with ojiro, then was bakugou who got paired up with ...yaoyorozu?, anyways next in line was midoryia who got paired up with uraraka
anddd finallyyy..... y/n with -
there's no way. some students were happy with who their partner was for this assignment and some were not. in this case y/n was not, like how could she? when her partner doesn't even like her and can't stand being in the same room as her!?
"oh! y/n is with..... todoroki!" mina exclaimed excited but worried at the same time.
upon hearing that the whole classroom stood silence. they all know that todoroki and yagi don't exactly get along, at least that's what it seems like.
"is there any way we can change our partners..." y/n said in a whisper but due to the quietness mr.Aizawa was able to hear it.
"you must stay with the partner you were assigned to"
and with that being said, the bell rang making everyone go towards their partner for the assigment, y/n made her way towards yaoyorozu and whisper to her.
"please switch partners with me yaomomo" y/n pleaded
"but you heard mr.aizawa.."
"he doesn't have to know, you and todoroki have more chemistry together so i don't see the big deal"
"c,chemistry?" yaoyorozu said slightly confused but flatter a little.
"oi, brat i don't like my partner as well but i'm sucking it up. it's not the end of the world, deal with it"
bakugou said as he grab the girl and drag her towards todoroki throwing her at him.
"if i find out you hurt her in any way, i'll destroy that angelic face of yours" bakugou said as he glared at him and then left, going towards yaoyorozu.
"forgot to mention, by the end of the project you guys need to write a summary about it and i want details in it, class dismissed"
todoroki quickly cleared his throat making y/n pulled away from him. both of them stood there awkwardly.
"uh, so what do you wanna do first?" y/n said as she look up to him meeting his stoic face and out of habit she started scratching herself on her neck, she usually does it when she's nervous.
"screw you" todoroki said and y/n stood there dumbfounded as he passed right through her leaving her alone for a moment.
'did he?... no. he did not just— ima kill that son of a bitch!'
and with that y/n started running after him. "hey! jackass!" y/n yelled making todoroki turned around with a sigh of annoyance only to be greeted with snow right onto his face. y/n had use her quirk against him.
"it's been two years todoroki, two damn years of this whole rivalries thing. i don't know why you despite me that much but please just go through this like a mature person so we can get the damn grade"
y/n said sternly as she look into the boys eyes, she wanted to have atleast a reaction out of him, but at the end she got nothing, she only got the same stoic dull face of his.
on the other hand todoroki was about to use his quirk against the girl and freeze her where she's standing and leave the building but she was right. the whole project thing was a grade at the end of the day and they needed to at least pretend they were getting a lot for some time.
he quickly glanced at the girl, golden hour had just set in illuminating the hallways with orange and yellowish tinges, and as well her. her skin look so soft under the hues of the light. todoroki suck in a breath, his classmate was attractive sure but shoto can't bring himself to accept the girl, for fuck sakes she's all might child.
and for that sole reason he doesn't want to be around the girl. all might is the whole reason his father created him in the first place, his whole existence he has been taught to become greater than him and beat him, so when he found out all might had a daughter he was determine to become greater than her and beat her at everything.
as second passed by, y/n grew irritated. she felt like she was making a full of herself and she didn't like that not one bit, biting the inside of her mouth she sigh.
"well each have a turn, one minute to say what we think about each other, what we feel towards one another, and then we'll put our differences aside and get this over with, deal?"
todoroki listened to the girl and slowly nodded as he saw y/n signaling him to go first.
"don't take this very personal but your not the brightest person out there. for someone who thinks so high of themselves i expected more from you yagi. those countless matches were we needed to compete, it seemed like you were always going so easy on me, seems like pithiness towards me. that's what i hate so much about you, remember our first encounter? heck you pushed me out of your way and didn't even apologize or anything you look back and stare at me for a second and walked away like if i was someone that was just wasting your time, like if i was a low life that couldn't, can't be compare to your level. i can't stand being in the same room as you... literally talking with you right now is making me want to puke, i would rather be alone in a room with mineta instead of being stuck here with you. you annoy me, every single word that comes out of you makes my head hurt and i wanna shove it right back at your mouth just to get you to shut up"
y/n had to put a finger on his mouth in order to shut him up, she back away and look slightly hurt.
"plus your all might's child and i'm endevours, our fathers have history of not liking one another it was bound to happened that we won't as well"
y/n just nodded towards him and slightly smile.
"haha did you had to be that honest with me? todoroki our first encounter was just a misunderstanding, i wasn't staring at you, i was staring behind you which so happened to be bakugou, he pissed me off that day. whatever i'm not here to explain myself."
and with a deep breath y/n took a look of the boy.
"let me prove you wrong during these 30 days ... just put up with my behavior for 30 days and if by the end of it you still don't like me we'll never talk to one another again or even acknowledge the other..deal?"
shoto slightly frowned to the girl but it wasn't really a bad deal so he agreed to it.
"you didn't got to say your part about how you feel about me"
"i have nothing to say to you todoroki, now let's pretend that we're the bested friends"
a groan left the boys mouth as he started following the girl back to the dorms. this project sure was going to impact their life's.

Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 3
This is the "second" chapter in the first three chapters formula I mentioned last time. Now that we know the premise and goal of the story, we now focus on giving you an idea of who the protagonist really is.
The last two chapters have painted Ed as arrogant, smug, and have a temper as short as his stature. In this chapter, we get to see his more compassionate, sympathetic, and just side. He doesn't want his brother to become a state alchemist because he doesn't want Al to deal with the hatred that comes with it, and he's willing to stop bad people for no personal benefit.
We also get some context on what a State Alchemist is. Ed was called a "dog of the military" earlier, but now we know State Alchemists work directly under the President and carry a special watch as proof of their title.
We also learn Ed and Al have a teacher, and she's someone to be feared. She's apparently so terrifying that Al makes his first funny face in the entire series.
And finally, we see part of a map. Youswell is a dead-end stop in the edge of the country. And we have trains.
World building!
"Alchemists work for the people". This line will get thrown around a bit throughout the series. It's got the same idea as how scientific and technological advances should be used toward the betterment of humanity in our world, but just like ours, there are powerful forces that will use them for their own selfish purposes.
"The mines are our homes and our graves." This really struck a cord with Ed. I could write an essay on this line alone, but I'm going to save it for a later chapter.
Now let's talk about Alchemy for a moment. You know how Ed turned a bunch of dirt into gold? Did you know gold is a pure element in the periodic table? That means it shouldn't be possible to transmute gold because it's not a compound. So how did this work? Maybe Ed transmuted the materials into ingot shapes and coated them in a gold-like substance. Maybe Ed created Pyrite aka Fool's Gold. Maybe Ed actually created gold which implies Alchemy is able to work at a subatomic level and can restructure protons, neutrons, and electrons. Now I'm not a chemist, but I'm pretty sure the latter would take a huge amount of energy to pull off. And I'm pretty sure doing the reverse will cause a radioactive burst if not properly contained. Anyone who actually knows chemistry, feel free to tell me what would happen if Ed actually created gold.
Tumblr media
Anyway, Yoki's dealt with and we'll never see him again (maybe...).
Also, I want to point out this particular miner. He reminds me of an older version of Fultac, the protagonist of Arakawa's first publication, a one-shot called Stray Dog. It's a good read.

Why Being Too Much Patriotic Will Not Get You Anywhere
During the early years of my teaching, I have a personal principle of doing three works. First is the job that I like. Second is the job that I am passionate about, - lastly, the job where I can serve the less privileged.
I was doing these because I have embedded a sense of patriotism and calling to those who I think are in need. I used to view the teaching profession as the less self-serving job that I have envisioned. I have this dream and calling to be the kind of teacher that I wish I have encountered when I was young. A role model in a while, I tend to be the kind of instructor that have this passion on the subject matter and at least let the lesser privilege feel that they deserve I high quality of education despite of their demographics or personal challenges in life. I do have faith in the future generation, I have this sense of duty to guide them to become effective, efficient, and productive members of society where they can contribute their skills without the means of being exploited. I have this urge, in fact I encountered enormous feedback regarding what kind of teacher that I should be, letting other people impose something towards me which is kind of defeats the purpose of me educating these young minds.
I received comments or even sarcasm such as "Don't overdo it", "they came from different backgrounds", "there are complaints about you", and "Teach the subject in a manner of appreciative sense", which let me ask myself, "Do these kids don't deserve any better? Should we not think critically? Should not read a good book or article? Should not question their very purpose on why they were studying all of these things?" Imagine I was teaching at this local state university for 150 PHP per hour and yet, I am not allowed to overdo it? To begin with, I'm not there for the money, I am there for the 'calling', which I look into as my purpose.
I taught various subjects; physics, chemistry, mathematics, personal development, and even philosophy. All with the same objective, for my students to become problem solvers and critical thinkers.
I am not the kind of instructor who will throw all that's happening right in front of them, from what I heard, some of their instructors were complaining about the delayed payments that will take months (2-3) before they receive their pay. I'm sticking to the agenda, to the subject matter, setting aside all of these issues for the sake of calling. For the sake of serving the young minds that I want to be part of, for them to become critical thinkers and essentially problem solvers.
This is what my being patriotic looked like. I want to serve the less privileged by simply educating them and letting myself be part of a problematic system that seems to be contributing to thousands of us being exploited draining every amount of our soul and passion. Gradually I became part of the system that ironically, I was teaching them to avoid.
A CHAOTIC LOOP INDEED.
And where did that bring me? Nothing, no prestigious recognitions, no awards, and even no promotion. What all that's left for me to look back is how challenging the subjects are, and my heart is being filled with joy everytime that a former student of mine greets me whenever they see me. A former student of mine greeted me when she saw me in the line at LRT we had a quick chat and I told her "See what I was pointing out before". She nodded and thanked me for all that I have taught them, which became an essential part of her career (she's a psychologist). Oh, my, I'm old! Haha.
While the national sense and pride of being a Filipino is still in me, that declines as the system unfolds how inefficient it is. Degrading and consuming every inch of your nationalism, questioning whether you deserve this kind of treatment, enduring every single day at a bare minimum.

RWTC 2
Time for the sequel! My volume 1 post did great, a grandiose 3 notes. I can already smell the internet fame. Clearly, the fans want what I have to offer (That being: incredibly random thoughts and my always correct opinions), and I am here to give it to them.
Anyways when we last left off: We'd just stopped a grand robbery of dust in the docks! Well, Penny did most of the work, but it's the thought that counts. The ending was kind of abrupt! What wonders will V2 have to offer? How much of a mess will it make of things? I wonder!
Ep 1: We start the volume and the first thing Mercury does is… flirt? The way the line is read is so fucking awkward tho, lmao. I know the tukson scene was meant to be tense and menacing but, and I know I said I wouldn't do this much, but it's important here: The voice acting doesn't really sell the scene. It's not laughably awful or anything, it's just not very strong. Wow, Blake and Yang actually get an interaction where Blake actively replies to her! How wonderful. Thank you Ruby, that IS the current circumstances in which you find yourselves! The audience appreciates you for the explanation. Wow Neptune look at you I'm sure you'll be a super important character moving forward, relevant, always in the depths of the plot. No comments about the food fight. 10/10. Still my favourite secene from RWBY. Now Glynda I understand your frustration but everyone else ran away, these eight stuck to the food fight and wrecked each other's shit, I'd be impressed if I was the teacher of a combat school. I love Roman. He's a little shit. I'd bash his head in if I could, but that's why I love him. He's underutilized but his VA is clearly having a lot of fun and it seeps into the character. Do you think cinder uses her powers to make her eyes glow for effect at all times or only when she's tryning to be menacing?
On the Bees: Wow look an interaction! Clearly this has convinced me the writers had planned for it all along.
Ep 2: I do like Ironwood's always had that subtle tension to him. He's a man with good intentions but too much goddamn power for his own good. Leaving aside te absolute stupidity of a 'semblance' they gave him which was of course never mentioned in the show because it makes no goddamn sense. This is a general complaint I have, not only with RWBY but with pretty much all shows I've ever watched: JUST USE REAL BOARD GAMES. PLEASE. CALL THEM SOMETHING ELSE BUT MAKE THEM THINGS THAT ALREADY FUCKING EXIST. The only person I've ever seen who makes 'fake board/card games' funny is ProZD and dude literally makes a living out of playing and reviewing those. Anyways that's a me thing, otherwise it's a fine scene. Better than fine, really, because WHITE ROSE BABEEE THAT'S 2 EPISODES IN A ROW WHERE THEY'VE HELD EACH OTHER LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOO "But Neptun-" Nepwho? Ah, blue haired guy. Right. He exists. Aight I'll just say my piece here because I don't wanna be saying the same through the whole volume: The whole Weiss/Neptune thing is just horribly heterosexual people writting terrible heterosexuality. Neptune's entire personality is being heterosexual. Literally. If a gay character acted the same as him, he'd be criticized for having 'gay' be his personality, or he'd be considered a token gay, or smth. Seen it a million times. Comes out of nowhere, any time Weiss does or say anything involving Neptune I wanna unalive myself, the two have the chemistry of water, and I consider this fanbase got off lucky that Neptune ended up being only a plot device to get Jaune to move along his own arc. So yeah any time anything happens with Neptune, unless I state otherwise, assume I'm vomiting loudly. … Honestly Blake and Weiss are kinda shippable here. 'Nooo blake why won't you talk to me- I mean us you promised' gay ass. Anyways while I understand Ruby and Yang going with the stupid plan and Blake has personal reasons for it… It does feel a bit OOC for Weiss to agree because, well, she's fucking right. These four are just students and they only managed to deal with Roman and the White Fang last time because Penny came in clutch. They're fucked if they do this alone. How… old is cinder? I'd say she couldn't pass herself for a student due to credentials but we know salem has Lionhart by the balls so… ???
On the Bees: Weiss and Blake had a nice moment.
Ep 3: You know, I never understood what Jaune saw in Weiss. Like, ok, she's probably cute at first sight. But she's fucking insufferable otherwise. Her team can deal with her but I'd fucking despise her v1-3 self if I went to the same school as her. I prefer the other outfits tbh. Where… Where was Sun hanging from? He was like, some ways away from the window, but there was nothing there to hang to. I guess his semblance could help but would he really- Yeah he would. Ruby here know's what's up and she wants none of it. NONE. It may look like Ruby is making fun of Weiss, but she doesn't understand that's just flirting. But her heart pulls her two ways, OH NO. By the end of this story, she must choose- Well, no, not really, since one of the options is literally twice dead. (yes I ship Nuts n' Dolts too, sue me) Weird that Weiss didn't ask to see Winter when the woman said she was around, given that later it seems like she'd give an arm and a leg to speak to her. Ok, the reveal that Penny is a robot rings a bit… hollow, since, uh, we already knew that. Her back literally opens into blades, the weird thing really is Ruby not knowing.
On the Bees: Nuts.
Ep 4: OOOOH that's why it's called Nuts n Dolts, innit. Normally I'd say the Ruby/Penny friendship feels forced, but this is probably the only two people in this show where something like this works. Penny has no real frame of reference for friendship and Ruby is just like that. Once again Blake and Sun out here exploring Blake's past together, nothing narratively important going on! Roman is so charismatic. Honestly I'd like to pound his- Oh hi Neo didn't see you there. Ok, see what I mean with "Adam could've made the jump"? Look at Blake and Sun here. Jumping gaps way larger here. I guess he was too stunned for too long or smth idk. Cool fight scene. Gonna be honest, I fucking hate that the fandom took these combo attacks for ship names. Like the concept is cool and all but at least back in the day following ship discourse could be so fucking annoying. Anyways here we have our first canonical explanation of how Yang's semblance works. "With each hit she gets stronger, and she uses that energy to fight back". Which implies she needs to take the damage to get a boost, something something equivalent exchange, but it wasn't something that was happening first volume. Unless we count 'getting a hair cut' to be taking a hit. That being said, I still wonder what's stopping her from, idk, hitting herself or asking someone else to hit her before a battle (assuming she can predict a battle is coming, ofc) to at least have some energy stored up in a safe environment instead of having to risk tanking hits from her enemies. Never quite understood how Neo's semblance works. It's illusions but they leave behind a physical glass form. But how exactly does it make her vanish? In most cases it doesn't feel like she's creating a flat screen surface but just a second body and… teleporting away. Feels like Blake's semblance but more overpowered, but also she can make anything out of it as shown later… Ah, whatever, I don't think the writers think about it too hard, making sense of it is impossible.
On the Bees: Well, they had their ship name called out.
Ep 5: While I love Pyrrha winning against team Cardinal, I have to wonder… why was she even fighting all four? Were the teachers like "Cardin your team is so shit all four of you against Pyrrha seems fair, go fight" or what. See what I mean? Mercury clearly thinks of his discovery of Pyrrha's semblance as something interesting, but Ozpin himself says they make extensive tests to the people entering Beacon. Even if semblances aren't a matter of 'public' record, Cinder later gets into the systems, so couldn't she just have just… checked then? I understand the 'blake needs to relax' bit but also, trying to force her into the dance? Sun clearly has a crush on her so him asking makes sense but the rest of team RWBY probably should've been more like "you need to fucking sleep" rather than trying to get her into a dance. I really like Pyrrha and I am really sad the crux of her character is "crush on Jaune." She has a lot of interesting shit to explore WHY IS THIS HER FOCUS. Like it's RIGHT THERE. A girl prodigy with an amazing semblance that everyone places on a pedestal. But instead of being about her it's about fucking Jaune.
On the Bees: Well Weiss continues to be the one pressing Blake to be more open. Is their ship name Checkmate? No, doesn't sound right. Uh… Black and White? No. Grey… Monochrome? That one sounds familiar. May be it (Yes, I wrote this as I thought about it. No. I'm not cutting it down). Anyways whatever the ship name is, so far I kinda dig it more than bumblebee. It's amazing really.
Ep 6: Here it is bois the big chapter for bumblebee oh boi let's gooooo Aight Yang attracting Blake with a laser is pretty hilarious. The Jaune/Ren moment did make me chuckle too. Comedy seems to be on point (for my tastes) this episode. Nora/Ren not being 'together together' is a point they make many times and I only ask… why? Nora isn't subtle about her crush on Ren. I guess Ren is quiet and timid but it's clear- Hey wait why is their ship name 'renora'. Don't they get a combo name? I know I complain about them but like. Feels unfair anyways. Other ships involving them get the stupid combo names. Why not them? What was I saying? Oh right it's clear they have a thing going on and like, they've known each other all their lives. This isn't made a point of until like, 7 volumes in. Eh, idk. Honestly, very impressive Pyrrha can just walk and talk normally with that knife—well, more of a fucking sword—on her back. Bla bla Bees conversation comments at the end let's move on. Oh hey that's Qrow's emblem isn't it? Who designs the emblems anyways. The owners of them? Some are unique, some are inherited. They're kinda like Cutie Marks tbh. Jaune offering a White Rose to Weiss, clearly a reference to THE BEST SHIP. MAYBE 2ND BEST SHIP IDK I'M TORN HERE. ENDGAME CONFIRMED BOIS. Blake's first dance is asked for but she still goes to the dance explicitly with Sun. Of course that is meaningless, nothing here ever built them up to have a thing and it is clear Blake never had absolutely any interest in him whatsoever. Anyways look at those background characters. All heterosexual, not a single w/w m/m pairing dancing, other than the 5 seconds of Blake and Yang. The pinnacle of queer representation right here, folks! Ozpin is a little lying shit but I guess experience does let him give good advice.
On the Bees: Ok. I want you to understand something. This? This is the F I R S T time Blake and Yang have a long, one to one conversation. In the show. Volume and a half in. They're not only teammates, they're partners. Ruby and Yang had a couple of conversations. Weiss and Ruby have had many. Even Ruby and Blake, famously interacting very little, had that conversation about books and fairy tales when first meeting. I don't care about the fact that they've spent months together at this time. That's not the point. The point is this conversation? It's the first actually shippable moment between them. Anything prior is /nothing/. You couldn't fucking write a developing relationship out of them with the interactions they've had before this point. From here on out at least there's a base to work with. That established, it's not the best base. Blake isn't her 'usual self' here. She's exhausted and in a terrible mood. The scene is mostly taken over by Yang's backstory. The conversation is Yang trying to make a point. It's a good conversation, and it finally establishes an interaction between them that doesn't feel loose. It's just a conversation I think would've been far more effective if we'd first seen them have more interactions under normal circumstances. Yang does wink at Blake and 'saves her first dance'. I believe this is the only time in this show where she's flirtatious towards a girl. Wonder why they didn't go togehter to the dance, instead of, well, I already said it above.
Ep 7: What was Jaune gonna do here? Beat up Neptune? Don't get me wrong I find him vomitive, as stated before, but the guy doesn't really deserve a beating for not agreeing to a dance, you know? Or was he heading towards Weiss? Kind of unclear, but he did look kinda angry so I assume he was going after Neptune. Like I get Pyrrha being drawn to Jaune for his ignorance of her and I do think that now it makes some sense she may be into him but I still don't buy how into Jaune she originally was. I do like this conversation between Pyrrha and Jaune, though. And, despite everything, this may be the only moment with Neptune that's genuinely funny. The 'I can't dance' part I mean. Usual applies to everything else. Nora and Ren are dancing, and Blake and Sun are… /still/ dancing? I can only assume they took a break, or they just really like dancing. Still not a single background gay! Dress moment is another Top 10 scenes of the show tbh. Throwaway gag turned funny/wholesome moment. Normally I'd call out the synchronized dance but these are hunters I can assume they have the reflexes to pull it off… assuming Jaune leads, anyways. Ah, yes, the legendary terrible running across rooftops scene. Here it is. It's legendary and terrible and funny. For real though I think I've seen worse animation moments before. I think it's just that this one likes like 5 whole ass seconds and gets full focus. Really? Karate chop? I know it's probably for the memes but girl, you can summon crystal blades at a distance. I reckon using those would be more effective. So… who picks the lockers and brings them back to the school after they hit, anyways? Is tehre a fine related to misuse of the feature? It can't be cheap, between reparations to the ground of wherever the locker hits, the damage to the locker itself, and the fuel used to launch it. RWBY giving pursuit and not immediately throwing away the shoes is the most unbelievable thing that has happened yet in this show. I… what? I don't understand teh architecture here. Did Cinder run all the way back to beacon? is the tower connected to beacon? That cut was real strange. Still no background gays! No but guys RT was really forward thinking they were totally queer-minded and had planned bumblebee from the beginning, clearly caring about rep and all that! They just coudln't be bothered to spend a single minute making two men or two women dance.
On the Bees: WAIT IT'S CALLED BUMBLEBY? NOT BUMBLEBEE? WHY DID NOBODY TELL ME, I MUST HAVE LOOKED STUPID! I'm gonna keep calling it bumblebee, idgaf. anyways I think this may be the only time we see Jaune's knees? I'll keep you posted.
Ep 8: APOLLO JUSTICE TRILOGY WAS CRACKED! I WAITED FOR SO LONG!!!! What has that to do with RWBY? Uh, nothing. What was I doing? Oh right rewatching. Anyways- Never fully understood why Ruby wouldn't go to Ozpin about the info before. Sure they were breaking rules but sis this is a lot bigger than you four. The dog. Right. Forgot he existed. I will forget it again. How… how does war work in Remnant, anyways? If you take to a battlefield, Grimm would eventually overrun both forces. It'd be a three-way fight constantly. You'd think kingdoms in general wouldn't ever bother with war. Right? Ozpin giving the job to RWBY instead of a more experienced team could be considered as the reason it all fell apart really.
On the bees: I actually just finished ep 10 and thought this chapter's notes looked weird and that's cuz this episode had literally nothing despite ample chance and I forgot to add this section.
Ep 9: I like Ooblek or however that's written. He's never relevant again aftert his arc but this is how you make secondary characters memorable. "By giving them a gimmick?" Yes! That's actually exactly how you do it! Ace Attorney is an expert at this! Still don't like the dog. Also no huntsman we've ever seen has a dog, right? Weird. See, this seems to imply the Goliaths here are like, the same as Beowulfs or whatever that just lived that long. but… This is later retconned. As far as we know, Salem just creates whatever the hell she needs, and Grimm don't change forms over time. It does appear like they gain more armor over time… sometimes anyways. Like, they probably do grow within a single 'species', but these goliaths aren't any different than the newborns we see later. I also do like Ooblek's motivation. That is a valid reason to be a teacher in this shitty nonsensical world.
On the bees: They, uh. Talk. For like one minute. Weiss is also there.
Ep 10: I appreciate this conversation but here's the thing: Blake speaking of her semblance this way implies they're aware semblances are, well, tied to their characters. This isn't necessarily a problem, if maybe a bit on the nose, but then… wouldn't it also imply everyone should consider what their semblance means? What does Sun's semblance say about himself? That he's always willing to lend a hand? What about, idk, Pyrrha? How does metalbending (And yes, it's metalbending, not polarity, she makes shit levitate not just attract or repel from herself) tie to her personality? Is it just a reflection of her prodigious skill? You'd think it was the other way around. Yang's is obvious (She prefers rolling with the blows), Weiss's too (it's a hereditary semblance), and Ruby's… well, depending on whether we consider the V7/8 development a retcon or not it could change meaning, but let's say it's meant to represent how she's always rushing ahead. So, this being said, woudln't character development change one's semblance? It would be interesting, in fact. Maybe Ruby's semblance wasn't always what it later is, but her experiences changed it. Maybe the inconsistency in Yang's semblance is a reflection of this. I know I'm thinking too hard and nobody ever thought about it, but it's sort of a Jojo's stands situation. In Jojo, your stand is a manifestation of your soul and can develop alongside you. Ruby, girl, NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY. Ruby, girl, you have SUPER SPEED. HOW HAVE YOU NOT TRAINED YOURSELF TO ACTIVATE IT WHEN SHIT LIKE THAT HAPPENS TO YOU. Ruby, girl: you. have. SUPER. SPEED. RUN AWAY. I know he says he's stupid but he really kind of is. Wouldn't 'underground city' be the first place you look at when looking for crime organizations?
On the Bees: Uh… yang calls out to Blake first? Sure, let's go with that.
Ep 11: RUBY GIRL YOU HAVE S U P E R S P E E D RUN AWAY FUCKING HELL YOU'RE NOT EVEN TIED YOU JUST WOKE UP SO YOU CAN'T BE SPENT Jesus, FUCKING FINALLY WHY EVEN TRY TO FIGHT IF YOU'RE THIS USELESS. Which makes no sense, tbw. Crescent Rose, even if it was built with ultralight metals, would still require strenght to use just based on the recoil those shots have and the balance of the whole thing. Ruby should pack a punch. Anyways giving your MC super speed in any capacity is a problem because of shit like this. Superspeed is the most powerful of the 'basic' superpowers (That is: Strenght, Flight, Speed and Endurance. Most stories with superpowers include these 4 in some capacity and speed tends to be the most limited one). I like the bombs moment. It's pretty funny. See what I mean? Ruby shooting herself like that means her arms must take the recoil! Even if we take Aura into account this girl should be at least decently strong. I… could do without the dog moment. Like… it's just more offputting than anything else. Ooblek does take another paladin by himself, which is nice to see, in the 'oh yeah he's a step above the MCs' way. Why does Weiss suddenly give Blake the dust bullets? Why not before? Why not… idk, talk to her about it? Why even make them? Did Weiss ask for them? If so, again, why not give them to her before? I mean I know the answer is probably 'Monty fight scene had this thing and writers had to scramble to fill in the gap' but still. Why does Yang have that moment with Neo? They've only had that one 'interaction' which wasn't particularly personal before. See? The WF leader(?) here makes some sense. We know the Schnees have beef with the Faunus and the White Fang (That being, they're slaver pieces of shit and all that). And, uh, Blake against Roman is… I get what they're going for, but… Idk, I feel Ruby and Roman would've felt more natural. Given they do have that in V3 so I'll let it pass. Man, I love Roman so much. Have I said that before? The biggest crime in early RWBY is not giving him enough screentime, really. I love the theory that he doesn't even have Aura unlocked, since he's clearly not the best fighter out there, man's just very skilled at doing his job. Which doesn't often involve fighting wannabe hunter teenagers. It's why he's basically knocked out after so few blows. Weiss should do the 'haste' glyph thing a lot more often really. Action economy, girl! Everyone knows it's the key to win! I wish Neo had more of a… thing. Like, in general. Her fight against Yang is great, but how the hell did she get that skilled? Why's she working for Roman? Why does she care for Roman so much that she later becomes obsessed with killing Ruby so hard that when she thinks she's done she loses all purpose in life? Not really sure how to feel abotu Raven here. At least we got the Yang backstory to even explain there's something going on there but it feels so… random. And why is Neo so scared? What does she know? Why would she know it? SHE HAS NO BACKSTORY And THIS is why you want your general population with their fucking Aura unlocked!
On the Bees: Man the second Dual Destinies turnabout is kind of a chore so far. Like, I figured pretty much everything by the middle of the first day and I still got another day of investigation and trial to go through? I think the case could be improved considerably by just not showing the face of the killer. I know it's ace attorney tradition to show you the first couple of killers, but still. I like Simon well enough I guess. What happened to Gavin? I don't remember him being fired at the end of AJ.
Ep 12: Jaune taking command, nice. Was that foreshadowing for Ren's backstory? Honestly, not a huge fan of this fight. It's supposed to be super big in scale but I guess the budget didn't allow it? It also feels like it kinda lacks momentum. Also didn't we just spend like 3 episodes exploring Ruby doesn't have physical strength? Why's she kicking the Grimm like that? Don't get me wrong, this makes more sense, I'm just confused. I know it's a common complaint that team Coffee shows up here to steal the show for a bit, since they barely get any screentime ever. It's a fine complaint, understandable. I… actually kinda like it. Also ONE OF THE GUYS IS HOLDING OATHBRINGER. WHAT'S HIS NAME. GREEN GUY. Based. I feel like we should have seen a few adult hunters showing up, though. Non-teachers I mean. Huh. Ironwood did always have his sinister authoritarian vibes. I like that. I still love roman. And that ending dream thing huh. I'm sure the eventual meeting of these two will be totally worth it.
On the bees: Did you know I have written more Ami/Minori (from toradora) than the rest of the internet combined? Irrelevant to RWBY I just wanted to let you know.
For an extra this volume: I watched some of the shorts! I think these were the ones around by V2? Or maybe up to V3? Idk.
WoR "Dust": I assume V6 retroactively kind of explains Dust as the literal dust old humanity was turned into? Which is why it can interact with Aura? Very fucked up, but I like it. I'm on the fence on whether I think they had the creation myth figured by this point or not, but I do think they probably had the rough draft for it. Anyways this short doesn't really add much? It explains the 4 basic types and that you can mix them to make new ones, but everything else we probably could've figured ourselves.
WoR "Kingdoms": Ok so, Vacuo and Vale share a continent, while the other two are in split continets. Just taking note for later, not sure how relevant it becomes. In a worldbuilding sense, I don't think it's very reasonable to actually believe small towns could ever be built outside of big cities protected by natural barriers. Most people are clearly useless in a fight against Grimm, and honestly, just leaving the city shoudl be more than enough nervousness and doubt to attract hordes of them.
WoR "Grimm": Not much to say here, other than just generally wondering why Salem wouldn't just wipe out humanity herself sans a small amount of people who she could pin as Oz and the maidens. And don't say she couldn't have: If she can create that giant whale thing she could've done so a couple thousand years ago when technology wasn't so advanced. If you told me she was purposefully playing this game with Ozma, trying to keep it somewhat fair, I'd understand, but she clearly isn't. Oh well.
Anyways, I think I enjoyed this volume more than the last! Which is weird, I think people consider this to be the weakest of the first three. Idk, despite everything, I found the overall pacing to be slightly better, and we get some deeper info on our characters which is always appreciated. Not much else to say in general, but hey. Also yes, it's still a mess.
Also I'm fairly certain Pyrrha still not passing the bechdel test.
Also, if by any chance you're reading this, Crimson: 1) Why. Why do that to yourself. 2) Last volume you kept flipping your shit at me shipping whiterose and such (and other stuff but idrc about that). You seem to be unaware of the concept of chemistry. Ruby and Weiss are shippable because they have chemistry. Ruby and Penny are shippable because they have chemistry. Actually, all the characters I mentioned as potentially shippable displayed fair amounts of chemistry. And that's always my main concern with bumblebee. Sorry, but "vibing" while not interacting is very much NOT chemistry. It's kind of the opposite. Right now, with the information these two volumes have offered, I could write a lot of dynamics with a certain amount of ease. Bumblebee… not so much, because their interactions are still blank fucking slates. And I'm sorry to say this, but no, emptiness isn't 'complexity' or 'depth'. The only complex thing here is the fucking mental gymnastics you're doing to justify not only every bumblebee moment but also the show's writing as if it was flawless and perfect lmao.

I loved your UO question so am sending it right back to you! Name your five most unpopular opinions about Charmed, Degrassi, and One Tree Hill. I haven't seen Degrassi so I'll just nod along and smile as if I know what you're talking about :)
Charmed:
1.) I never understood the appeal of Phoebe and Cole. I can't explain why, but I was never invested in their relationship or felt much chemistry between them. They were fine and it was probably a necessary dynamic compared to Leo and Piper who were a lot "safer" and kind of the guaranteed endgame, but nothing about the two of them grabbed me. To me, Cole had the most chemistry with Prue and it's disappointing that it was never explored.
As far as unpopular opinions ago, that's about it? I've only seen Charmed once and am not at all familiar with what the fandom thinks.
Degrassi:
1.) I can't stand Eli Goldsworthy. While some of his story lines are legitimately good and I can enjoy him in some of his friendships, as a person he sucks and I think the writers' obsession with him did far more harm than good. I have zero tolerance for all the hell he put Clare through and don't think they're remotely on the same level just because she's sometimes a drama queen. Being dramatic and being an emotionally abusive asshole the second things don't go your way are very different things. Every single guy that Clare consensually kissed was better than him by a mile.
2.) People are way too critical of the Degrassi movies. The franchise has over 500 episodes plus lots of minis and other bonus content. It can't be all about the drama and life lessons all the time. Sometimes things happen for the fun of it and that's okay.
3.) Honestly, every single opinion I have about Tristan is super unpopular, but I'll say that Tristan lashing out at Maya after she told Snake about his affair with their teacher not only made sense but was extremely sympathetic. There are a lot of ways the show mishandled the aftermath of the story line. Obviously, Maya Matlin was done dirty by practically everyone at one time or another. But I can't be that upset that a victim of grooming had a negative reaction and struggled to accept at only sixteen years old that what he believed was his first experience with romantic love and a sexual relationship had been predatory all along. It will always bother me that the writers were clearly so meticulous in terms of showing us step by step the process of grooming only to give us a bullshit resolution. This character who preyed on Tristan is given a brief mention only for there to never be any closure. I feel like the consensus is basically that Maya was the character wronged the most in this arc because she was never validated or given a proper apology. I disagree. That sucks and there are plenty of ways Maya deserved more, but mostly I'm disappointed that Tristan never got the help he needed and had his trauma basically retconned so that Miles Hollingsworth could be the end all be all for him. But unfortunately, all Tristan discourse rarely goes further than talking about how unlikable he is or the unchecked biphobia the writers perpetuated and never took seriously.
4.) I was on Ashley's side during almost every conflict with Jimmy. More often than not, Jimmy either overstepped or behaved in a passive aggressive way so that he could avoid conflict. For instance, Jimmy tells Ashley in a backhanded way that he doesn't consider her physically attractive with her goth makeover and directly admits that he preferred the old her. Somehow, Ashley was the villain for not feeling accepted when Jimmy "did nothing wrong". Then later, Ashley makes it clear she wants to pursue her music on her own and shows no signs of needing Jimmy to stick up for her or join her musical act. But because he feels the need to be a savior, Jimmy joins in and basically takes over - the exact thing Ashley didn't want to happen. While Ashley deleting his track was shady, I can't say I blame her. She also went on to give Jimmy the track to do with it what he wanted. In return, Jimmy emotionally cheated on her with another girl and passively allowed Ashley to find out about it much like he did with Ellie and Hazel. IDK. There's a consistent problem with female characters on the show getting raked over the coals for any slight, perceived or otherwise, against their boyfriends while the guys are frequently excused for behavior that would make the girls be deemed "toxic".
5.) I was more on Clare's side than Alli's in Nowhere to Run. Yes, Clare was self involved and possibly a bit hypocritical to forgive Jake and not Alli, but it always came across to me like Alli reacted in a very passive aggressive way to Clare's earlier dismissal. While I believe the kiss with Jake was unplanned, Alli had to have known Clare wasn't going to take it well? I don't think Alli would have reacted super rationally had the roles been reversed. Overall, it's just weird that Clare is expected not to have negative feelings about her best friend kissing the ex-boyfriend she still wanted to be with. It's entirely because the fans hated Cake because there's just no way in hell that gets the same reception if it's Alli kissing Eli. I don't know. I never understood how it devolved into a situation where Clare was on the outskirts of the friend group when most of the characters in it (Alli, Jenna, KC) had screwed Clare over at one time or another.
One Tree Hill:
1.) There are certain sketchy things Nathan does that are virtually never brought up compared to Haley almost constantly being raked over the coals for season 2. This is particularly bad on Reddit where there seem to be weekly threads about how much of a selfish bitch she was for kissing Chris and then leaving to pursue her dreams. It's exhausting. Like, Nathan showed up at the bar Haley's sister was working at and attempted to have sex with her during their separation. I'm pretty sure that plot point has been brought up maybe a handful of times in almost twenty years since that episode aired. Haley never even finds out about it. Or the time he spends the entire night flirting with Peyton seemingly because he's not used to being a good guy and is petrified because he's starting to realize he's in love with Haley. Nathan occasionally lacks any boundaries when it comes to other women and yet never has to face many if any repercussions for it in the fandom or on the show itself because he never *technically* cheats.
2.) Overall, the legacy of Keith and the impact he left on characters like Lucas and Karen is much more significant than his role on the show ever was during the time he was alive. During his long absence during seasons 2 and 3, it was obvious to me how much the character lifted right out compared to more crucial, richer characters such as Deb. It's sad, but I really feel like his character fell off after season 1. It doesn't help that a good chunk of what he did was just pine for Karen and act entitled to her affections.
3.) I'm going to hell for this, but Haley and Dan have a lot of chemistry during season 9. I'd never call it a ship or root for it to happen for numerous reasons, but I picked up on a vibe and it was sometimes distracting to watch their scenes. Apparently, Joy and Paul kissed in real life at least once, so that would explain it.
4.) Everything prior to the state championship episode in season 4 is mostly terrible and just in general full of Brooke bashing to manipulate the audience into rooting for Peyton to be with Lucas. There are exceptions and good moments, but in all honestly across all nine seasons this is probably my least favorite run of episodes just because everything feels so off putting. At least during some of the later seasons, what you see is what you get. But season 4 overall has the reputation of being one of the show's strongest seasons. And it is, from 409 on. But there's a lot wrong with it that's rarely discussed.
5.) I hate Brooke's miracle pregnancy. Even though I was happy to see Brooke finally become a mom and realize a dream she'd had for the entirety of the adult seasons, the fact Brooke achieved this by carrying her sons to term rather than adopting leaves a bad taste in my mouth. After seeing Brooke care for Angie, take in Sam as her foster daughter to the point she had adoption papers drawn up and then come very close to adopting a third time, it felt like borderline anti adoption propaganda. Basically, all of these "fake" children Brooke cared for or almost raised never became a permanent part of her life so that eventually, Brooke could became a mom in the conventional, biological way. Aka, the right way. I'm not even sure if this an unpopular opinion, but I pretty much never see it discussed.

I'm not particularly fond of posting or sharing my problems since I almost end up oversharing, and I'd find myself feeling both humiliated and embarrassed. I get emotional, something that I honestly hate to acknowledge.
I'm 18, graduating senior high in about 3 1/2 months. I came from a great school, to which people usually say. I, also, regard it as such; quality education, a somehow good environment, and being surrounded by great students and amazing teachers. Perhaps an environment that smart people, or rather, the above average people would love. It's not something to hate.
Although, I will have to admit that I indeed hated the idea of being there, but perhaps meeting my friends lessened that hatred. My main reason for hating is because I got in against my own will despite passing the exam in a fair square manner. Anyways, the teachers also somehow made my days worthwhile despite the constant failures I face there. Struggles, challenges, exhaustion, stress, low scores; Sometimes, I even feel like I'm just average, and perhaps that I'm the least smartest, so I lowered my expectations by a lot. To say that I started to lose my confidence and began de-appreciating myself, I came to a point where I would much rather just survive and not get kicked out of the school. Just make sure not to fail. Submit your requirements. And live. A constant cycle. But I had my friends. And I have a dream. Although I don't have a school in mind, I do have a plan on what I want to do.
I want to study chemistry, then study forensics and become a scientist who could assist in investigations. Childish? Yes, it seems like it. After all, as a child, I loved reading detective books, Sherlock Homes, Agatha Christie, and Hardy Boys, name a few more local books. I loved investigation despite how it may seem horrifying it is in real life. I may hate horror movies, but my heart always ached for finding out the truth in things. Perhaps, if somebody died right now, I would wonder "why?", "how?", and "what happened?" Connecting the threads of it seemed to be something that always caught my attention.
Unfortunately, that dream can't be achieved. Being a forensic scientist is almost unachievable. Perhaps I'm not the best in studying, I procrastinate a lot, but when it comes to my interest in forensics and crimes, I always make sure to put my whole attention to every detail. Much more attention than the one I give in studying.
My parents always remind me to maintain my grades, and of course, I always do my best to do so. Because I have dreams I want to achieve. But, whenever discussions about colleges or universities pop up, I would much rather not attend such a topic. I hate how my mom would always mention the costs it would take to put in the school that I'm aiming for. I'm grateful that she wants to support me, but sometimes, I get the impression that she thinks I want her to support me, as in the type where I wouldn't help her. As if she was expecting that she pays for everything. "I can always get a part-time job." I wanted to say that, but I know she wouldn't want that. Perhaps it was because of pride that she could try to support me financially or that she just wants me to focus solely on my studies. I love her. I love her, really, but I hate how she always talks about financial things regarding college. She ones told me to just study nearby. The farthest I could possibly go is in Cebu so that it'd be cheaper. I get it, but what is the point of putting in such an outstanding school, with scholarship, and just put me in some state college?? The closer I am to home, the better. I understand that, and truly, I would love the idea. But I hate it. I hate it. There's not many opportunities here. One line I will always say to end these college or university topics is that,
"You put me in a prestigious high school, one that I didn't even want to go to. And now that I actually ended up liking it and want to plan my life out, you'd put me in a state college? Here? Just nearby? Where there's less to little to no opportunities?" And that would somehow end it.
I want to get a part-time job as early as now. But living in the Philippines isn't making it easy when there's limited job offers or side hustles available for people around 16 or 17. I'm 18, but it's still a challenge to find a job where you'd earn a lot.
I want to choose my own college and enjoy my life the way I'd want it. Being in this high school, where I am now, gave me the idea that I should always search for bigger opportunities and not be limited to what is only around you. And I will do that.

Day 3: practice
I had to think about today, since starting this and thinking about love, I think about how to practice and integrate it in my day. I had gone to Backyard BBQ for lunch and as I was leaving, I realized it would have been a good opportunity to pay for someone's meal. I think about it when I hold a door open for someone or when it's held for me. I thought about love when my neighbor offered my some plant clippings and when I laid on the floor with Kiwi.
But today I want to make it a continuation of yesterday as art has been on my mind lately. I woke up still feeling grumpy and disgruntled by my art practice. It's a gray day, cloudy outside but not really raining and I felt tired. I got the idea then to go back to basics. I'm a digital artist, pretty much all of my work is done on my iPad and I mostly work on big pieces with coloring and shading and the whole deal. And while that's great and my art has developed with each piece, I need to do the work all people do: basics and fundamentals.
I'm a self-taught artist. I had a phone with a stylus and one night in bed I thought, I want to draw. So I started going to town drawing people, doing the line art, the coloring, the shading, each piece was a full completed piece. My art was not that great two years ago, I definitely learned a lot and gotten so much better with spacing and proportions. But I realized that I should put in the work and practice of doing timed figure drawings, doing doodles, making sketches, and practicing the anatomy, the clothing, the background basics.
I grabbed some pencils and paper I bought a few years ago and posted up on my couch where I went through timed poses. I got 90 seconds with each figure and just went to drawing as much as I could before the time was up. Some poses were definitely more difficult than others, but I had fun. Fun! That was something I felt like was missing from my art yesterday and that I just wanted to have fun. I feel like I fell in that trap in fandom where I needed to be producing completed works and my worth was based on what I could produce and how often. I lost the joy.
And I realize now that some of my art block stems from the need to be instantly perfect. Perfection was demanded by my mother, each of us kids were gifted and talented, we didn't need practice, we didn't make mistakes. Whatever we picked up, we were supposed to know how to do it with little instruction. I am the sort-of-youngest of four (I'm a twin) and it always looked like my two older siblings were amazing at everything they did. My brother was a marching band science genius, my sister was the artist and musician. I stayed in the shadows in technical theatre.
I didn't know how to ask for help, or how to ask someone to teach me x, y, or z. My grades were to be A+ in school and when I, the son of a math teacher, was getting a D in calculus, I was yelled at for not asking for help. It was shameful that I needed a tutor to get through chemistry and that I couldn't keep up with my peers in school who were already going to college for math as they had completed all the courses the school system offered.
I would find myself getting frustrated with hobbies. When I was in middle school, I thought I would make jewelry, but I felt my work wasn't as good as my mom's or sister's. I learned to knit and was great at it, but it got boring after a while. I learned to crochet, sew, needlepoint. I tried an instrument but I'm fairly tone deaf and can't read music. I picked up hobbies easily and mastered a lot quickly, I was great at knitting, origami, gardening, and video gaming.
So I realized that's why I was getting so frustrated with art. I could see I have talent and potential, I love getting to draw bodies and explore what it means to be trans and queer through art. I love making my blorbos kiss. One of my favorite things is to draw from fan fics to surprise writers, it makes my heart warm to see their excitement. And so it's okay to not be good at everything at once. What was that Jake quote from Adventure Time? Sucking is just the first step to getting good at something? So I'm giving myself this act of love of learning my craft and hobby by working on lessons and the basics and fundamentals.

@deliriousblue when it came out people wrote a lot of thoughtful text posts about whether the writing effectively built on their characters and the degree to which akk and ayan's dumb arguments reflected akk's continuing struggle to kill the cop inside his head. as someone who fully intended to let it wash over me like a cat in a sunbeam and then watched it exactly once my thoughts are simply not that deep.
this got unnecessarily long so thoughts below the cut!
once when i was very small my class watched the lion king 2 and i was furious that they were making me watch it bc i didn't want the sequel to change my relationship to the movie. to this day i have no idea what happened for most of it bc poor baby me was so stressed out. which is to say, getting a whole cluster of gmmtv-sanctioned sequels stresses me out to the point that i end up doing fake math to make sense of my relationship to each one.
basically i think of our skyy specials as existing in a three-dimensional euclidean space where the X-axis is a continuum of how much of a transparent cash grab a given special is, the Y-axis measures the robustness of the relationship to canon/the through-line of the original series to the special (in whatever way), and the Z-axis (running vertically) measures how happy the cast and crew are to be there. 1 2
Tumblr media
our skyy 2: the eclipse is so funny to me bc it's average in the cash-grab and relevance dimensions (i.e., an unnecessary cash-grab sequel that picks up from the story enough that viewers don't have to squint), but the Z-axis is wild because everyone is *so* excited to be there and somehow also completely checked out for most scenes?? it's rare that you get so little investment from actors who are so happy to be there
the eclipse is um. not the most well edited series on the planet, but everyone clearly MEANS IT so hard that it's difficult for me to find fault with it. in contrast, with the eclipse our skyy there's this almost jarring lack of engagement with the material. (perhaps largely a function of how much the original series meant to everyone involved coupled with them recognizing OS2 for the transparent cash grab that it was?) with the eclipse i can look at a screenshot and know instantly that i'm looking at akk or ayan or kan or thua. with OS2 i can't seem to find the characters in the way they smile or cry or carry themselves.
but at the same time everyone is clearly having a blast?? you watch the behind the scenes and it's like mamma mia! here we go again.3 everyone seems so happy to have the gang back together! it's like they're doing campfire skits on the last day of their last summer together at sleepaway camp. first and khaotung are positively glowing behind the scenes while phoning in everything except the 30+ times they kiss onscreen
on a Choices level they definitely made some! the one (1) thing i have chosen to adopt as canon from this special is the idea that wat apparently gave his newly-out gay friend a queer film reclist. still it's WILD that in a sequel to a series largely about internalized homophobia, their nod to brokeback mountain was a lighthearted pastiche that appears to have been written primarily to give first another excuse to kiss his best friend. the silly antics while dressed as characters from an old thai movie where the lead actor died on set? another choice i'm struggling to make sense of!
also (re the og eclipse) having ploy play their high school english teacher was also certainly a choice! her chemistry with aj was too good and it occasionally got weird. and then in our skyy 2 they leaned into that???? wat is out here having post-graduation crush-on-his-teacher dreams and she's accompanying them to bars?? CHOICES.
1. my school president's our skyy special, for example was low on relevance (set in an alternate dimension and arguably undercutting certain character choices imo!) and high on both the cash grab and cast/crew enthusiasm axes (tao sarocha is having *so* much fun being the cool mom). i hate that in doing a ~role reversal they made gun the daydreamy one and tinn carefree; i really appreciated this dig at the appointment of senators by the military. still i think msp is a perfect show and personally prefer to pretend the OS2 special didn't exist. my personal our skyy for this series is this long-form laundry detergent ad that takes place mid-series <3
2. bad buddy and a tale of 1000 stars occupy wildly different places on the Y- and Z-axes despite sharing an our skyy special. the atots half builds upon phupha and tian's relationship in a thoughtful way (if making them implausibly better at communicating than they were in the original series) and earthmix seemed to be having a great time with it! on the bad buddy half of things they emphatically did not
3 which is extremely high in all 3 metrics discussed here
many thoughts about our skyy 2: the eclipse, none of which are particularly deep but i do want to talk about them

GENSHIN BOYS IN COLLEGE
Tumblr media
pairings: xiao, zhongli, kaeya, albedo, diluc, thoma, kazuha, & childe x gn!reader
summary: them & their college shenanigans <3
warnings: fluffy. this is literal crack i'm so blocked
note: i was having writers block so enjoy some brain rot
Tumblr media
xiao: the liberal arts major who hates everyone except you and his besties venti & albedo <3 when xiao's not trying to be the main character who's mysteriously drawing by himself under a tree, he's streaming on twitch with his active 400k fan base that consists mostly of teenage girls. oh, did i mention he's a secret drag racer?
zhongli: the teachers assistant for the world history class. this man knows everything about every historical event. you swear it's like he's almost lived through all of it! which leads to your speculations of zhongli being a vampire. anyway, this man is very sweet and definitely gets unwanted flirtatious attention from his students. poor man just wants to talk about history </3
kaeya: the frat boy who's almost never at his frat house. honestly if he didn't tell you he was a frat boy you never could've guessed. kaeya is your typical "bad boy heart breaker" trope. and of course, his only soft spot is for you <3 what you find even more shocking is that he's a chemistry major. suddenly the stupid science pick up lines he leaves on post it notes for you to find make more sense.
albedo: ah yes, our studious straight A albedo. he's a double stem major with a minor in art. albedo has to be one of the most underrated students in your class. he's kind, smart, and very pretty. albedo is always willing to help you with your work and always does so with a gleaming smile! everyone loves albedo <3
diluc: oh. him. that guy. so diluc's like super rich, but humble about it. you won't even know this man is rich you didn't see him driving around campus in his 150,000 sports car. you've only heard from rumors that he's not one to talk to and should be ignored. so it wasn't until you were forced to talk to him though a project that you realized diluc is the most socially awkward dork you know! strangely, you very much like him for it.
thoma: unintentional teachers pet. all of the professors love thoma. i mean, who doesn't love thoma? having a bad day? thoma to the rescue! he's always there for you, rain or shine. he majors in zoology and is president of the cooking club! he also seems to attract a ton of unwanted attention from his fellow peers, but in reality all his heart longs for is yours.
kazuha: mmm yes. another one apart of liberal arts. kazuha is a music major and probably one of the easiest going guys you have ever met. he writes you weekly poems that you collect over time and put in a shoebox you spent hours decorating. you'd never tell kazuha that obviously.
childe: the epitome of frat boy chad. childe did not come to college to study, he came to party his life away. what enrages your the most is childe's natural smooth talking skills. this loser can talk any professor out of failing him. but what you can't seem to wrap your head around is his pristine grades. how can someone get wasted on a monday night but still ace their exam!!
