Remember the "draw hatsune miku if she was your oc" thing from over half a year ago? Or was it even longer time ago--- idk, but basically I finally sat down to draw and it looks just so.... Plain

Don't you love it when you have a certain idea but not the ability to recreate it in real life?

If miku was my oc she would have probably been a robot built for combat and fast travel in some sort of a distopian lab in the wastelands/deserts who also has the capability to sing but doesn't, bc, that's not her job

The person who designed her personality, appearance voice actually tried to make her identical to a dear person to him whom he lost. That's why he also made her able to sing because that's what he always admired on that person.

Now, despite trying to be a "substitute" for said person, Mikus personality is vastly different from hers, miku is very cold and distant to her creator. This is actually because he believes he is fault for his friends death and so, he basically gave the voices in his head a physical form. That being miku.

Yeah, basically, the entire thing is just the creator being self-destructive and miku slowly learning more about how humans work because she wants to sing and realises that it's something emotional because she is a sentient robot and so, defies her own code of enabling her creator's downward spiral

There are also rin and len who are two different AI's in one body with len actually being supposed to be deleted from the body but he somehow managed to survive on an unchecked back up hardware and rin, the new AI whom the body was meant to be used for thought it's fun to have len around and didn't report about him still existing

Yeah, idk, if they were my ocs, it would not directly be the design that's different, but the entirety of the character and their existence.
