Brain’s been quiet lately, and I’m fine with that
#My art#More accurately my anxiety's been hitting which has flatlined my drawing interest >:P Which I am less fine with#But I'm trying to just give myself some space to chill#Considering it's been since uhh#May lol - that I've been between hyperfixations#I'm still making stuff! Just not at HF rate lol#I've talked about it in bits and pieces but it really is weird to not have a Need to draw#There are still things I want to draw - still things I am drawing - but it's not a necessity to get out of my head#It's unsustainable but I miss the urgency anyway haha it's exciting#But taking a step back lets me practice other stuff#Like colours and shading! I did a bit of that here#I am exceptionally rusty with digital shading of every variety lol - maybe excepting cell shading but even then#I've been wanting to do top-layer painting type stuff for a while now#It's fun! It creates a real softness unlike coloured lines but a bit similar - even a bit more subtle and warm#I like it#Makes me wanna practice more
