"It was a day a day like every other; or perhaps thats what made it so special. We existed side by side on a stretch of time that seems so mundane it became the most beautiful adventure we’d ever had…
Same place tomorrow?"
I come to you all with a very special post, this piece in particular is one that means a lot to me. My desire was to create a snapshot of a beautiful moment between my Narrator and his Stanley, a moment of happiness on a day warm enough to be an embrace.
There is a lot of deeper meanings going on throughout the piece that I hope someone out there can pick up on, from the bench itself, to the flowers, and way they sit. It all matters to the narrative, the artwork itself ended up taking me 8 hours but it was well worth it to me.
Take a walk through memory zone, who knows you might hear the distant echos of laughter; the ghost of a happy day that lives on in those halls
Enjoy 💕

To celebrate the physical release of The Stanley Parable I'm finally revealing the concept I've had for Lovebug!Narrator for the AU from @things1do.
I'm a bit rusty on drawing the both of them, but I've had this specific appearance in mind for a while- I just never got around to making it real.

Also I'M SORRY today is just a v rough day for me but I want yall to know that Jester's and Fernator's Stanley are actually the same one and this man is both a victim but also an abuser and I just, please someone ask me about him I love my Sadley he's just
Listen this man first had to go through Fernie's neutral path which, well it wasn't too bad but then he went to the Bad pathways, still remembering how fernie could have been better but because he was salty about how the man treated him sometimes, their relation got worse
And that ended up with them destroying not only each other but the parable, making it unusable
Then the guy was reset by the game devs and put in jester's parable, who they told how his Stanley is supposed to be and this one wasn't 1:1 like the idea he had
So he came with a confusion this Stanley took place of a Real Stanley that doesn't exist and tortured him
Ending with him making him one with the void in the zending room, which haha fuck you jester, made stanley be the world water and he took all the lights, making narrator depressed because he realised he lost his story, Stanley and the room he loved
The dude went for 7 years of depression, got kicked in the butt and made UD Version while stanley got powers thanks to becoming one with the parable
And first showed up, making jester believe that he's a diff Stanley, just to see if the man had changed and would treat him better which surprise, didn't work
And then, next save, he finally tortured narrator back
Which backfired in the end because the man has guilt issues for keeping on destroying words and how both narrators just keep on blaming him for everything so he got a new save and let jester do whatever he wanted to him, which made jester feel like this really is his Stanley
So they went on like that for a while, with Stanley only sometimes showing his powers to keep narrator in place
Then, he learnt that fernie is back in the game, dumped jester (not completely, still visits him sometimes) and went to that parable to try to fix that man because his biggest issue was keeping on fucking up the code
And then good and best pathways of fernie happened
This Stanley is not only guilt but also power driven. He could have gotten a new narrator, he could have let it all go but he loves how he has control over them both
Sisusu yeah I just love my bbgrill
#my rambling#Tsp#The Stanley parable#Stanley#Fernator au#Jester#They're#Unhealthy#I have obsession with unhealthy relationships and the psychological aspects of them ok#But like that's their original relationship in my eyes#Anyways yeah#Today im really not feeling good physically so I'm rambling I hope yall don't mind

Okay so I've been obsessed with The Amazing Digital Circus for the last, few days now. Anyways I wanna talk about a few things, so first I wanna talk about the digital forms of the characters, they all look different now, but my question is how do they get the exact forms they have? Is it random, or does it have something to do with their minds or desires. I'm bringing this up because of this scene
Pomni sees her reflection, but unlike a lot of other characters who have gone through this trope, like Audrey in BATDR. She doesn't cry, or freak out. Instead she tenderly touches her cheek, her eyes dilated more than usual and she stares.. almost in awe of herself.
She's not scared of what she has become.
Makes me wonder what everyone else thinks of their forms.
Also Caine is so cool and fun to me. Like seriously, he's so wacky and random I LOVE IT!!!! Also really like how they're not going the route of having him be the antagonist, he feels more like the narrator to me from TSP. He's trapped just as much as the others, but he doesn't have an understanding of the Real World because, guess what, He's never been there, since he's an AI. Meanwhile the humans are from there, they try to escape at first till they realize they can't. And start begrudgingly doing Caine's adventures.. reminds me of a specific something (TSP). Like in every iteration of the Stanley Parable I've seen, mainly fandom, this exact thing happens with Stanley. And Gooseworx even said she was inspired from TSP, to make this.
But at the same time Caine doesn't fully understand humans, especially things like pain and fear (one again AI), so a lot of the stuff he does or reacts to feels unnerving.

Love Megabytes - a Lovebug AU Stanley x shadow!Narrator fanfic
Stanley swears he saw something crawl its way into the parable.
The Narrator says there is nothing to worry about. It is just a harmless virus.
---
note
Narrator uses it/its in this one folks
There is abuse of zalgo in this
slight tw: obsessive behavior, behavior altering virus,
-------
Chapter 1
"This is a story of a man named Stan- Stanley! What do you think you are doing?!" the Narrator asked infuriated, the avatar normally waits for it to finish the introduction before causing chaos.
The man in question was crouched under his desk, seeming very interested in something there.
Saw something. signed Stanley briefly before extending his arm to search further.
The Narrator frowned to itself - it didn't make sense, nothing was supposed to happen now. It absent-mindedly looked at the model of the room from all angles trying to find what had distracted its creation so much. Since Stanley didn't know what he was searching for neither did the dark being.
"Nonsense, Stanley!" the shadow crossed its non-physical arms, projecting itself below the man, replacing his shadow. "Nothing has changed from last run. Now, chop chop, we have a story to get to." But it was ignored, there was nothing it hated more than being ignored. The Narrator mumbled to itself, something something stubbornness, narrative integrity, petulant.
The stretched fingers felt the wall carefully, Stanley had his brows knit together and the tip of his tongue out in concentration.
"Will at least tell me what you saw, Stanley? What could be MORE interesting than my story?" pouted the British voice.
-ots of things- thought Stanley louder, I saw something crawl out of here. I'm trying to find from where.
"Crawl? Here? Don't be ridiculous, Stanley!" the Narrator scoffed "I have no asset that could do that! The most similar to crawl an asset does is the baby and I have not seen something that big crawling here, Stanley!"
Nothing pink? Small? asked the man, as he now explored the right corner of the 427 office. The other replied with a disagreeing shrug. Pink was a difficult color to harmonize with the Office.
A silent exclamation of triumph left Stanley as his fingertips brushed again something, he turned his head and squinted to see what he had found.
A hole. Not larger than his ring finger. It seemed to go all the way through the wall, direct through the code.
Stanley has never seen something like this, the Narrator was always very careful with the parable's code, knowing fully well that if it wasn't, the avatar would find a way to mess with it, probably breaking it beyond repair.
Even if Stanley did in fact like some chaos, this was extremely odd and too dangerous for now so, Narrator? He called and showed his finding to the other.
The Narrator moved its form to the wall indicated, its projected yellow square glasses close to the anomaly.
"Oh, dear..." The shadow disappeared since it was easier to investigate this from the Narrator's office.
The vessel stood up, sat back in his chair, and started to fidget with his hands, nervous as he felt the other's anxiety. This was beyond the Narrator’s limited unlimited control of the parable and Stanley’s control by free will.
The panicked mumblings of the dark creature echoed through the map as it searched for whatever could have done that. It appeared to have eaten its code to get inside, a small and not really important code but still not acceptable!
In a room, in its office, somewhere not really physical, the Narrator went through its scripts with alarm. The walls were covered with monitors, some flicked between ten, hundred, thousand of angles of the parable, searching for others showed rows and rows of code, simple commands such as Object Chair; or as unreadable strings of zeros and ones, for untrained eyes, nothing seemed wrong but there were gaps where there shouldn’t be; each second that pasted more gaps appeared. A few papers cover some screen
It was eating the code. Multiplying. And eating more.
A virus.
The parable had a virus.
A BLOODY VIRUS HAD MADE ITS WAY THROUGH THE NARRATOR’S CODE.
The shadow being was livid.
How could something like this happen?!
THE END IS NEVER THE END IS NEVER THE END IS NEVER THE END IS NEVER THE END
As the other panicked, Stanley made his way to the employee lounge not really knowing what to do. He sat on the ground with some pen and paper he snatched from some desk on the way. The problem seemed to be big from the not-so-subtle ramblings of the narrator, but Stanley didn’t have something to offer except to give the other peace.
The vessel wasn’t really an artist, only beginning to draw recently..? When the parable had begun. In the first 20 resets? Time got too tangled after so many runs. Anyway, it began as a way to piss off his companion, drawing dicks and other immature things on the walls with a marker from the meeting room. The entity had been so disgusted with the display of “childish and improper” - its words - behavior, it had berated the man until it couldn’t take anymore and reset.
Stanley didn’t repeat that for some resets, mainly then only snatching paper, pencils, and pens, and bringing them to the broom closet when he was overwhelmed or just need space. There he would try to sketch the closet’s items, the bucket (if he had brought them with him) or the simple shape of the Narrator’s shadow form, its somehow yellow square glasses, and Line™ tie, the dark shape of its hair that sometimes changed to new hairstyles, the ever-present headset that was likely just for show, the glasses too to think of it.
The drawings in the start were lost after each reset, this made the avatar unhappy but understanding. However, after spending three hours redrawing his office, Stanley did ask the Narrator if there was a way to keep it.
It was actually surprised by the request and by the fact that its creation was making art. It couldn’t really see what Stanley did in the broom closet, so it had just thought he was making “improper” drawings on the walls again. Stanley couldn’t really deny the assumption since it happened once in a while.
Nevertheless, the Narrator was more than content to keep the drawing, and after he mentioned the lost ones, it swore to keep the ones Stanley want to keep. And after some thought the entity “”offhandedly”” suggested that the man didn’t need to hide to draw anymore.
After all that, they established a ritual, where every few resets, Stanley would make his way to the meeting room signing to the other his intentions. The Narrator would lay some materials on the big table for him and let him be. Sometimes the vessel would ask it “to stay”, where they would talk about the drawings or whatever new script the other was working on or just… stay quiet, each focused on their own thing and enjoying each other’s presence.
The walls of Stanley’s office began filling up with sketches, doodles, and portraits. At times one or other would disappear, and he had a tiny suspicion these end up wherever the Narrator’s office was. This made him feel fuzzy inside.
Now, he was trying to put the undescribable code he saw in that hole into paper. It has given the avatar a headache just to look at it, probably too much for him to understand. And Stanley didn’t really like to think he is just a 3D model controlled by lines of digits. He has already accepted he is trapped in this ever-repeating loop and will likely never get out, one hope-crushing realization at the time. This piece wouldn’t be exactly how he saw it but more like the feeling.
The ramblings have slowly quieted to a low mumbling, almost like a nervous buzz.
He dropped the pencil to sign: Narrator?, using the name sign he rarely used, the sign for N, and the sign for Story.
Nothing. It must not be paying attention.
Narrator? Thinking loud normally worked.
“Hum? Oh, Stanley, sorry for this. It appears we have hmm… a virus” the Narrator said with false disinterest leafing through papers “Nothing to worry about.” it cleaned its metaphorical throat “Ah! I see you have already occupied yourself, Stanley. Good, good…” its voice trembled a little, Stanley decided not to comment on it.
Can I help?
“I am afraid not, Stanley. Thanks to you, we already know the virus is here…” He smiled a little at the ceiling. “Now, don’t mind me. I will find it…”
Was it the pink thing I saw? I can keep a watch for it.
“Could be… I doubt this has a physical form but I will not mind if you do, Stanley.” the Narrator said absentmindedly probably already focusing on something else.
The avatar’s thumbs-up was not acknowledged or seen. He returned to his drawing.
Now, the perspective isn’t quite right…
THE END IS NEVER THE END IS NEVER THE END IS NEVER THE NEVER THE END
This is bad…
No matter what the Narrator did, no matter how many pieces of this virus it erased and purged, this code-eating disease always came back.
Maybe it has a commanding core, sending orders and the storyteller was only killing its soldiers, not its commander. This was easy to conclude but the Narrator COULD NOT find where this blasphemous commander WAS.
It has searched bloody EVERYWHERE, every line of code, every corner of the map, and every page of its scripts. And the entity found NOTHING.
Was the ailment purposely hiding? It would be really strong, well-developed, and very very dangerous if so…
Would the Narrator have to fully reset the game? Oh Lord, just the thought of that made its screens go fuzzy with interference.
What if the virus was in the device?! Bloody hell, it could do nothing against that!
How could the user contract such a virus? Probably in one of those filthy pornographic sites, humans seemed to love so much.
The sound of paper flipping was a lovely addition the being was really proud of, even if the papers weren’t exactly real, but now after spending the equivalent of HOURS going through them, over and over again, the little sound effect was stressing Narrator out, making some monitors blink in and out error screens. Or was it the missing code strings? This was all too overwhelming.
Should the Narrator stay with Stanley as he draws for a while to regain its composure? It would be in fact relaxing…
Flicking its glasses to a monitor which showed the man, the creature pondered.
Stanley was lying on the floor on his belly, feet up slowly rocking back and forth. He seemed really invested in his work. Lord bless the quiet moments they had together. Hello I saw your post, how about tsp headcanons or maybe anything about your au?
OH SHIT SOMEONE PERCIEVED MY AU
I feel like everyone that gets into tsp has an au for their own interpretation and story, so minee uhhhhh I had a plan to make a whole fic + illustration series for it, but I dont have the time or motivation so I'm cool with infodumping. Actually, getting it all down now would make it easier to release content for it, so win win !!
SUPER LONG INFODUMP INCOMING
My au is mostly a character exploration of Stanley and Narrator after years in isolation before it starts getting meta. From adjustment to their new lives, to the evolution of their relationship through insanity, and finally discovering the truth of their world to break free.
The first few chapters are dedicated to Stanley's adjustment from his real life to the game. Chapter 1 follows his daily routine, his commute, his entrance into the building, and suddenly, the silence of his branch. His job wasn't very interactive in the first place, inputting what he was told into spreadsheets or other, but simply pressing buttons is a gross simplification of it. The oddity of the situation hits him, and the narration begins. Truthfully, the Narrator's words align with his thoughts, so while he is uneasy, he does as told because he'd do the same. The Freedom Ending is full of revelations and emotions as he reflects on his life, corners of the office he hadn't seen. Stanley steps outside, the daylight grows brighter, and he resets. Following this is Stanley's spiral through emotions. He doubts the voice in his mind being his own, looks everywhere for clues about his situation, inputs into the pink screens and tests out the story slowly. From barely diverting to a room or two in anxious desperation, to completely opposing the Narrator in anger and spite, Stanley branches into every ending plus some. While it's true that his life had fallen into monotony, the Narrator mocks and berates him not only through dialogue, but through the contents of the world. The building became nothing but a maze of halls, his capabilities as a human limited to button-pressing, his ability to speak lost completely. It was as if The Stanley Parable was made solely to mock his existence. The Narrator and Stanley battle for control of the situation. Stanley reclaims his pride and autonomy through defiance and causing the Narrator suffering while the Narrator retaliates. However, the Narrator always seems to default to wanting a good ending for them both and fulfilling his goal of greatness and artistry. Stanley soon grows to realize this as their time loops progress, and with time, conflicted feelings for the Narrator give in to gratitude and solace in their isolation. (I remembered I had this RP with myself midway through writing, so this might be the best place to put it. Stanley's going through the wringer with his emotions, and at a point, you can get too exhausted to feel what once enveloped you so intensely. Between his anger and his gratitude, there was definitely points of exhaustion. Additionally, even as he "gave in" to the game, he was still exploring every inch, wondering about the true nature of their existence.)
Stanley never would have regained his ability to feel if not for the Narrator. If anything, he should be grateful that his lonely life was brought to someone's obsessive focus. He wouldn't have overcome his anxiety to adhere to instructions, wouldn't have dared explore outside what he was expressly given permission to. Wouldn't have felt so intensely with fear and wonder and anger and self-actualization. He had them to thank. And only them. For years. They only had each other. They couldn't help it that it naturally evolved into something more. Stanley's fear of the situation evolved to desperation once he realized the pattern. Desperation for an exit to insanity for what his life had suddenly become. Insanity to anger, focused onto the source of it all and the mockery of his life. Anger to understanding as the Narrator's intentions became clear to him. Understanding to gratitude. Gratitude to adoration. Adoration to obsession. So on. And the Narrator notices these changes. The Stanley Parable in their eyes isn't a mockery, but an artistic piece and aid dedicated to Stanley. For some reason, even unknown to them, they're very attached to Stanley from the start. While upset to see their piece ripped to shreds by Stanley's choices, in the end, Stanley grows bolder, more expressive, and the Narrator loves to see it. All of this development is slow and takes place within the decade before the next game installment. The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is introduced to Stanley in the midst of their odd relationship. Not quite a thing, not quite hidden from each other. They've grown into this routine of cycles, and by now, their endings and interactions with each other far outnumber those in the game. When the new content is added, Stanley doesn't know how to feel. The Narrator had been developing it behind the scenes with unknown outside help for a while. Stanley had long given up on interacting with any other sentient beings ever again, so the new content is overwhelming and scary in that sense. The new stimulation is welcome, but new characters? Even hints of an outside presence, seeing the meeting room covered in notes and speculation over collectibles from unseen employees freaks him out. The need for connection leads him to attaching to these inanimate objects, much like his bond with The Adventure Line. The way humans find comfort in one another through touch and interaction is the same way Stanley feels over the Bucket. Stanley eventually comes to realize that the unknown and overexaggerated connection he felt to it was true. The Bucket is a person. In fact, the Adventure Line is a person too. The Wife mannequin is a person. The Settings is a person. That Cardboard Baby was probably a person too. Who knows. Stanley pieces this together from outside reviews of the game, the story of Employee 432, and the Curator. The company he worked for is the same developer of The Stanley Parable and it ran experiments on its workers and environments in plain sight. The Stanley Parable is an interactive recording of the pocket dimension created by these experiments with Stanley's own experiences being put onto store shelves.
There's a whole subplot with the Settings gradually forming a bond with Stanley as well, and it comes to a head when Stanley attempts to escape with the Narrator. Stanley and the Narrator have a heart to heart about everything. The Narrator feigned ignorance to the Escape Pod Ending, but now knowing everything, Stanley wants to escape more than ever. Without him, this fake world can't exist, and all these people will be freed with them. The Narrator gives in with some time, final reviews of their work together, but for some reason, Stanley remains. The Settings wants to make their time endless, but the world rots without the Narrator there, and the Settings eventually has to let go. Stanley wakes up again in his office. He fears that the game isn't over, but stepping foot outside his door, he hears the rustling of objects, the voices of people, and he stumbles through the office, now back to its original form, with all his coworkers within it. It's awkward knowing they've seen so much of him, and over a decade in isolation has destroyed his ability to interact, so Stanley avoids them all in a mad search for the Narrator. When they finally lock eyes, Stanley doesn't know what to feel, but he feels his voice come out for the first time in forever, and he cries. Everyone sets off to reclaim the lives they've lost, wishing Stanley and the Narrator well as the two awkwardly return the gesture. The Narrator, for once, is at a loss for words, and they part ways before exchanging contact information. Stanley stays with his parent for some time, lost and haunted with his experiences, and the Narrator reclaims what he can of his old life, spending many days waiting by the ruins of their company building for anyone who might return. It doesn't take long for Stanley to come back. Living in the real world again is overwhelming, and he took it a day at a time with the help of his family. Coming back to find the Narrator, Stanley shares everything. While it isn't their fault, he can't just forgive them for everything. His feelings are torn all sorts of ways, and they settle with staying friends, there to help each other acclimate to life again with everyone else, but mostly each other. They make it official after some time. Even though it isn't the best decision. They can't let go of everything or each other, so it's a very codependent type of relationship despite how it looks on the outside.
There's a lot of details I left out obviously. There's a whole Curator and Mariella plot, even more details about Stanley and the Setting's dynamic, all of the secrets in the game that Stanley experiences and their corresponding emotional developments, more character exploration for the Narrator and more of how the world worked (The Narrator was actually an invisible floating mass btw), I COMPLETELY FORGOT THEIR IRL RELATIONSHIP BEFORE THE GAME JESUS. But yeah, that's the gist of it. I'll definitely make more content of it soon.

hey!! That Anon that’s new to the TSP & Narratorverse - thank you so much for explaining things! I’ve gone through the threads you’ve linked and looked at some of the creators connected to them. Also, I have another question (I hope I’m not intruding on your time, and you have no obligation to answer this), but what is the Lovebug sickness thing? I’ve also seen that around.
ok admittedly I actually don't think I'm as knowledgeable with the Lovebug Virus concept as I would be with Paraverse, but as I've actually been engaged with it a LOT as of late & at least understand the base concept ( I think? ), I'll try to relay ALL that I know to you, dear non! & i thoroughly encourage anyone who may know more to add onto my post!
TDLR; in essence an AU / trend begun by user @things1do that stems from the idea of The Stanley Parable, particularly Stan/Nar, getting infected by a particular love-virus! that's pretty much it I think. lovecore parable, baby!
SO - the " Lovebug AU, " also known as " the Love Virus " is a concept originated from the user mentioned above ( Bubo ) in which, if we're to take the tags from this original post to heart, the/their Narrator opened an email with a virus attached ( implied to be the infamous IRL computer worm ILOVEYOU / LOVE_LETTER_FOR_YOU.TXT.vbs or some variation of it? ) & ended up getting the game bugged.
rather than your standard computer bug effects though, said worm corrupts the parable & simply injects a lovecoric aesthetic into everything, which includes - of course, Stanley & the Narrator; shown through individual outfit, aesthetic, & personality shifts to befit. given their popularity as characters & as a couple, they're most often the characters you'll find if you search the AU anywhere, though I believe any character IN the parable can be lovebugged!
MORE INTERPRETIVE LOVEBUG DISCUSSION BELOW;
& beyond this concept, I don't think there's been much other story added to it? at least, not from Bubo, from what I can tell. truth be told, i think the concept of the Lovebug Virus is just a good, canonically appropriate excuse to draw Parablites in lovecoric outfits & doing shippy/affectionate things with one another!
...but that's not stopped some people.
given the rather open concept with no apparent set story beyond a simple shtick, people have taken it in NUMEROUS different directions with their respective Parable renditions & interpretations.
some stick with the simplicity of the original concept; some others decide to take it a bit further & really harp on the " virus " side of things, either turning it into a literal sickness on cold with a flu or some kind of unfavorable phenomenon in terms of bodily health or the game's code; some others make it a one-sided thing from either Stanley or the Narrator's POV, with the other trying to avoid or cure them- & on that note, I've even seen it translated as a sort of lovecoric zombie virus ( hi @blackkatdraws ); some take it in a more Visceral or thought-provokingly disturbing direction with the virus enhancing the affected's feelings to an obsessive / destructive degree; & then you've got some that take it as an excuse to depict stan/nar as more Lustful, with befitting, revealing / promiscuous clothes to boot. ( you know who you are & i know WHAT you are )
etc etc -- & to each their own, i suppose! it's a very loose, interpretation-based concept that you can really push & play & have fun with, so long as you stick to the main " hearts, pink & red, lovey " theme!
ALSO HI-
I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR ACTUALLY TAKING YOUR VALUABLE TIME TO LOOK THROUGH THE LAST POST & MAYBE EVEN THIS ONE; it makes me so very happy to know you took the time to look into my ( maybe needless ) ramble esp when i tried putting a lot of dedication in it, & i LOOOOVE to talk to excess & i love to be thorough about WHATEVER it is i'm explaining, so thank you forever & i'm so VERY VERY happy that hopefully it'll lead you to finding some TSP creators you may want to get into! this is going to be us if you keep that up

Paratober 2023
So I am unhinged. Very, very unhinged.
And I decided that for Inktober/Paratober I'd draw Thierry for every single one of them (or involve Thierry in some way) Because, as I said, I am violently unhinged. Of course, I did that! It took me a bit because I had a THREE PART EXAM and was a week behind with stuff, but TODAY I caught up with everything! Isn't that WONDERFUL! The days are going to be VERY out of order since some of them contain blood and I can't really "spoiler" them so some will be under a cut. I'm using three different Paratober prompt things for my own sanity. The first two are the "Main" Paratober ones, both canon and non canon, by @/themochimadeoftaro and then there's "The Stanley Drawable 2023" Prompt list made by @/a-game-of-beginnings.
All that being said, here it is!:
Note: This one is actually Mantra and Thierry's fusion! Designed by myself [insert proud grin here] Under the cut here is going to be Gore, blood, Spoilers for Chapter Ten of The Narrative Parable (Link: READ IT )and the wORsT oF aLl (HEAVY SARCASM) A shirtless man! Good god how could I...
Anyways, be wary if you proceed please :) You have been warned. Other Note that's kind of at the end but also not because wehoa;fdlsi A huge thank you to @vellichorom for being supportive of my cursed antics and violent obsession with Thierry <3 I really love your guy so much lore and all. Not only has he given me the motivation to actually draw regularly where usually I would just give up, but so have you. The rest will be posted individually each day (or every other day if I end up having to miss one) Had to PUT SPACE here because TUMBLR IS STUPID and decided to add the KEEP READING AT THE GODDAMN TOP like a STUPID IDIOT if you read it a certain way

i'm so obsessed with The Narrator (the stanley parable spoilers!!!!!)
he's a bitch. he wants Stanley to escape more than anything. he's sadistic. he sounded like he was about to cry when Stanley didn't move. he got offended by a Steam commenter calling him "unfunny." he made a game where you push a button for four hours. he thinks rocket league is fun. he's hardly felt happiness before the Zending. he played jaunty adventure music while following the Adventure Line(TM). i fucking love him

You have my full attention
KAY BUCKLE UP. INFO DUMP TIME LET'S GOOOOOO!!!
We'll go in the order that I listed the spinoffs, even if that isn't the order we came up with them. (Spectrophobia was probably the first one I think.)
Dementophobia is the fear of going insane and it's the Psychonauts one. I hadn't heard of Psychonauts before this, so I'm still working my way towards watching the game cutscenes. I think I'm in the middle of Psychonauts 2 right now and then I'll be all caught up. If you're unaware, Psychonauts is a videogame where this kid named Raz has psychic powers and wants to become a Psychonaut, who are basically spies I think and also use their mind powers to help people get therapy.
So during Dementophobia, Niko accidentally comes into contact with the Warp Topaz (a common theme you'll see in a lot of these) and gets sent to the world of Psychonauts. He comes into contact with Raz who figures out something's up and decides to help him out. Raz goes into Niko's mind and very quickly realizes something is VERY WRONG HERE. (Also, Lily and I along with Lily's more Psychonauts knowledgeable friends have done a TON of worldbuilding around Niko's mind world and what happens there. It's so in depth and interesting and I LOVE IT SO MUCH) Anyway, Raz realizes that he's gonna need some backup here because Niko's mind is unlike pretty much anything he's ever seen before. It's that messed up. He takes Niko to his Psychonauts friends for help and that's when things really get going. Also Maple shows up at some point.
I could go on and on about what we have planned for Niko's mind world, but that might be a bit too spoiler-y. BUT TRUST ME WHEN I SAY IT'S SUPER COOL. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
Alright, next up is Phobophobia which in all honesty is a silly joke AU that is really just here to have fun with. Here's what's up: Starline and Maple are married. Niko is their actual child. (Also Surge and Kit show up at some point, also being Starline's kids)
It sounds CRAZY (and it is) but it's really fun!! Niko's like 7 I think and there's not really a set plot to this one. It's just a collection of scenarios that this wacky family gets into. Also, there's like a subplot where Starline learns to be more caring and gets closer to Niko and it's kinda cute. This one got started before the Trauma Siblings became a thing, so they're not included, and I'm still wondering if I should put them in. That would put Starline and Maple at SIX kids though and I don't know if their marriage can handle that. XD
(ALSO EGGMAN AND STARLINE ARE CO-WORKERS AND EGGMAN'S DAUGHTERS ARE 6 YEAR OLD SAGE AND BELLE.)
Next up is Decidiophobia, Fear of Decision making. This is the Stanley Parable crossover, another game that I hadn't heard of before this, but I'm now OBSESSED WITH. Quick rundown of The Stanley Parable: You play as Stanley, an ordinary guy with a job pressing buttons on a keyboard all day. Then one day, his co-workers all go missing and he sets out to try to find them and figure out what's up. The entire game is narrated by the Narrator, who even narrates your actions! However, what he says you're going to do isn't set in stone and you can go against what he says whenever you want. All this leads to different paths and storylines you can take, causing multiple different endings. After each one, the game resets and you start all over again.
SO HERE'S THE THING ABOUT THIS ONE. Instead of doing another dimensional yeet via the warp topaz, we decided that The Stanley Parable exists within the regular Sonic universe. How? Uhhh, I probably can't explain that because of spoilers, but let's just say . . .
The Narrator is vaguely connected to the Time Eater and also the Phantom Ruby is here. And GUN got involved too.
So Niko shows up in side The Parable™ and confuses the Narrator, because he's not Stanley. The Narrator tries to continue on as normal, but after a particularly disastrous ending, he realizes that Niko is AN ACTUAL CHILD and resolves to help him escape The Parable™. :D
Next: Autophobia, Fear of being Alone, otherwise known as the Miraculous Ladybug one. You know the drill by now. Warp Topaz, dimensional yeet, and it's all fun and games until Hawkmoth gets to Niko literally IMMEDIATELY. (Not gonna explain Miraculous because it's a lot. If you don't know about it already, just go watch the show.) So Niko gets akumatized into THE MOST TERRIFYING AND OVERPOWERED AKUMA IN EXISTENCE, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS LITTLE ANGEL. He can make people fall (platonically) in love with him just by looking at him and it even works across BROADCAST. So like. Anyone who comes into contact with him is instantly obsessed with him. There's a bit more too it, but that's probably spoilers. :P
Anyway, Ladybug is compromised pretty much INSTANTLY. And shortly afterwards, the entire school falls to Little Angel's spell. Due to spoiler reasons, Chat Noir, Chloe, and Kagami, manage to escape his influence and start trying to find a way to fight back. (Oh also Little Angel is not a hedgehog, but he was turned into a small human child with animal ears, a halo, and wings. Yeah, he's called Angel for a reason.)
This is the only crossover we have where Niko very much does NOT get therapy. He's usually better off by the end of one of the crossovers but NOT THIS ONE. In fact, he actually gets WORSE because of this one. :D
AND FINALLY WE HAVE SPECTROPHOBIA, Fear of mirrors/your reflection. AKA THE ONE I ACTUALLY CAME UP WITH BY MYSELF. XD This one is interesting because SONIC shows up. Like, regular Sonic, untainted by Starline's influence, shows up in the facility. How? Let's just say that the 900th Adventure special didn't quite go as planned. >:) So he's able to find Starline and Niko in the facility right in the middle of a session. Sonic's like 'nah this is stopping right now,' rescues Niko, and escapes the facility! It's not as easy as it seems though because Niko freaks out as soon as he realizes Sonic's here and he took him away from Starline. I REALLY WANNA START POSTING THIS ONE. I PROBABLY COULD BUT I'VE BEEN PUTTING IT OFF. Also the Warp Topaz shenanigans are fun in this one and I've got an art I need to finish for it that no one but Lily will understand but will come up later on in the story. >:)
Kay, that's all the ones I mentioned in that post, but there's a few more. I won't talk about them though, because most of them are more Lily's expertise.
But aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa can you tell why I'm going insane now?

what if
& hear me out
tsp headcannons since i am obsessed
no reader lol just general hcs (edited because i wanted to add stuff :*3)
Stanley
() pookie fr
() he/him
() tbh i can't decide if he's twink cismale or transmasc, so either.
() pansexual
() has asd & is nonverbal
() but instead of sign, he uses communication cards.
() that's right
() not enough card hcs anywhere, so im making one fuck you >:*)
() he's more sensitive to visual sensory than others, but still hates loudness.
() he uses sign only when he has no cards or when he's with narrator because he's the only one that understands
() mainly uses bsl, but knows basic asl (brit*sh /hj)
() spare headphones, ofc
Norman
aka the narrator
(please note that i'm just gonna call him Narrator/Narry, Norman is for Post!ParableAU, Human!AU or just outside of the Parable :*) )
() norman is his human name.
() uses any pronouns, but refers to himself as he/him, they/them, it/its.
() GAYYYYYYYYY
() his real name is a language too complex for the feeble human mind to understand,
() he's god basically.
() but in post!parable or in a human!au, he's a human.
() a lil chubby & silly :*3
() the adventure line has been reduced to narrys tie :*C it's still pretty much sentient though.
() will make stanley go through things, but also will not try & overstimulate him.
() "stanley you gotta remember: i'm a VILLAIN, not a MONSTER."
() sometimes he'll even spawn in a bowl of ice cream for him as a symbol of love!! <333
() as a god, he doesn't really need to eat or sleep or do really any mortal necessities, though he enjoys it.
() also yeah, he can spawn in stuff.
() Narry did the writing, Narrating,(no shit sherlock)& he did the choices & coding for the parable.
() he scripted his lines for most of the endings.
() keyword: most.
() the ones he didn't script are: real person/not stanley ending(w/o bucket), zending(w/o bucket), escape pod ending(w/ & w/o bucket), confusion ending(w/ & w/o bucket), & skip button ending.
() him & the curator haven't interacted in over five years.
() not a word was uttered.
() (they got into a bad arguement)
() Narrator created Stanley, but he forgot he ever did
() he genuinely thinks Stanley is his own person.
() finds out he isn't in the Not Stanley/Real Person ending.
() Curator felt bad so she took the player away from stanley & reset the parable so he'd forget.
The Curator
() I haven't really decided on her human name...
() she/her
() bipoc. i like to think that at least... :'*)
() AroAce. Bitchless & proud.
() The Narrators older stepsister.
() Curator skimmed over the code & script for the Parable
() she wears glasses but she doesn't actually need them.
() in fact,
() they're just "es" because there's no glass.
() Narrator has a Love-Hate with Stanley; Whereas Curator is a teeny obsessive.
() as seen in the museum ending.
() Curator & Narrator used to be normal
() they used to be human, but they died & (somehow) reincarnated.
() their forms were kind of the same as their human ones, but things change.
() oh & their dad died.
if you want my designs for the goobers lmk <3
