I imagine watching Doom Patrol the year it came out must have already been a formative indescribable experience for many, but watching it in 2025?? haunting prophetic narrative, it's packed with so many gentle sweet delicate moments and i was still trembling by the S1 finale. Something about how Grant Morrison read the american society for filth.

It's bone bending to see the American 2025 paralleling Doom Patrol on a molecular level #it's not surprising because Grant Morrison knew what the fuck he was talking about. But it's deeply uncomfortable and unnerving #in necessary ways #you know a story is good when Jane starts self medicating with Niles' opioid and is out of it for months and i was like ''GIRL ME TOO''#i felt that #this show is so so fucking real #and even though i can't quite... tell what is Niles supposed to represent #i find each and every single character on this show SO relatable that it physically hurts i want to hug them all and protect them #save Silas Stone. I thoroughly understand him he's SO SO well written but he's the only character i feel next to zero connection with #I even feel a connection with Forsythe lmaooo dont know what that tells about me #But yeah Silas is zero relatable to me #anyway yeah. Doom Patrol is a fucking insane narrative and one of the few stories that really drives home why comic as an art form #can lend to extraordinary stories #Doom Patrol
