Okay, Tumblr update post. It's been a while but I think I might start posting here again. I tend to use Tumblr to write speech to text on my phone drafts for my other social medias and then copy paste the text on to the socials on PC. As bluesky and Instagram don't have ability to save as drafts. It's also kind of pointless to try uploading stuff I've drawn on my computer to my phone just to post it. However it's also kind of pointless to not post on Tumblr when I'm writing when I say here. So I will be uploading more digital work here soon. Traditional sewing we'll see.

So............. that Sonic X Shadow Generations trailer......mm.

Okay, Shadow's new gore wings gave me major Tokyo Ghoul kagune vibes, specifically an Ukaku kagune. I've been wanting to do some studies of Sui Ishida illustration style anyways...... And..... I barely commiitted.....

I took inspiration from the [Black Wings] illustration. Boy, it was hard to break it down in my head. I know Ishida is digital artist. I know it's possible.

This turned into more of Tokyo Ghoul post then a Sonadow Generations post(i don't ship them, I just wanted to make the joke)

Little bit of update post, but as you can see. Once again I've been posting much recently and my comms sheets are nowhere in sight. It's not that forgotten them, it's just I've questioning my understanding of art fundamentals over past few months. In other words art block.

I've been struggling mentally lately. I've working to get into college over a year now. I have gotten to point it's now just waiting for stuff to be approved. However, recent progress has brought some suppress traumatic memories from high school and elementary school. I won't go into the details, as like to remain private about it. I'm doing better now, so don't worry about it.

A couple more things, I'm going be moving from Tumblr to Instagram as main social media account. I'm not leaving Tumblr and might an art dump every now and again. It's just trying manage multiple accounts is really stressful and I just want to focus on one. I've pretty much abandoned Threads and barely touch Bluesky sense making an account. I also need to a clean up on my Insta, by deleting my stream announcement posts. Leaving them up has left the place cluttered with same picture over and over again. I'll make announcement when I go live on Twitch (and or YouTube, eventually), but I'll delete the Insta post the following day. This should help the place feel a bit more art focused.

And, finally. Streaming. I'm still struggling to back into swing of things. I've realized over the past few years I'm more extroverted than I've think. My most recent streams have been planned or unplanned collabs. I need find some people that are good with chatting with me VC, wither we're playing a multiplayer game or I'm playing single player. I actually have kinda mentioned to a friend already, not exactly this though. Also, wither I someone to agree with this or not, I need try streaming at least once a week, even by myself.

And, I still haven't finished my personal Vtuber model. Aside everything above, I've been in a "JUst dO DuMb ArT!!!" mood since starting new ADHD meds last week. In other words they've helping get some art that's been floating in my head for while now, out.

I fucking love the models, I just love the way the mouths will mood side to side depending on where the model is turning

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.
