so when are we as a society gonna move past the need for characters to be special because they have special Good Blood from their Cool Pure Blooded Ancestor. like when is that gonna stop being the go-to reason for why people are special

#mine #totk #YES this is about that game #tulin and teba didn't NEED 2 be descendants from some super cool guy #i was willing 2 believe they were just talented fliers #why do they have 2 be talented fliers BECAUSE they have special bloodlines #I'm so OVER the divine right of kings and fucking blood purity in games #zelda at the beginning was like 'lemme explain why the divine right of kings was good and real #idk i just think this emphasis on bloodlines is weird and not good #it's one thing for a character to be a royal u know?#it's another for them to be a royal and that means they r inherently #stronger and better than everyone else
