Meaning this in general (and not meant to target a specific work) but I think more "Sweet Polly Oliver" stories (basically the trope of Mulan disguising herself as a man to x gender restricted thing) or transmasc should explore more the aspect of being in a "man's world" for the protagonist. That is, under the assumption that this story occurs in a "historical" setting where gender segregation really is defined along the lines of Victorian Age sexism, the story should allow or force the protagonist to experience the world the way a man would. Basically characters should come across things such as toxic masculinity, and other expectations. Especially if they did not grow up in such a setting, what challenges would they face therefore if they come across those things.

currently watching: if we're talking TV shows I'm catching up on what we do in the shadows and arcane, for non tv stuff I've been binging Dimension20's campaigns recently. I don't know anything about D&D mechanics so half the time I'm lost but I'm having a blast!

current obsession: tooooo many. way too many things. to list a few of the more recent: tears of the kingdom (I'm so so close to being done with the game and it's consuming me), spiderverse, the barbie movie, and i'm getting really into crocheting wearables (that aren't sweaters lol). Axel, the man who has never been human, gradually turning more and more into a monster over time, pines longingly for his dearest Songbird, Reyanne. She was always described as the Siren of the Fortune’s Fate, like one of those mythical being that lure Sailors to their deaths with song. And now, with Axel gradually turning into what is assumed to be a Kraken... We have two creatures of the sea who are perfect for each other.

Making Axel into a Rogue/Warlock Swashbuckler/Fathomless was the best fucking idea I’ve ever had. There is so much angst and utility potential for this man now and I am HERE for it! Like even just with one level in Warlock I can fuck shit up so much! For example; Witch Bolt, cunning action Hide, and spend movement staying within range. I have 60ft per turn after that I can use to stay in stealthed range of the target and constantly deal damage every turn with Witch Bolt. Mission Status? SICK!

Bonus version with the text on the top because why the fuck not?

The fun part is which one of these two is saying they’ll tend to the flames. Is it Reyanne to Axel - “I’ll take care of the monsters that are inside you, you just be Axel.” Or is it Axel to Reyanne - “I promised to protect you and all you need to do is take care of me when I need it.”

Very Yin and Yang opposites going on here. I made Axel’s outfit darker and darker over time so that he’d contrast even more with Reyanne. I do plan to continue fucking up his appearance over time beyond the tentacles too! Warlocks get some cool shit at second level and beyond so you know full well I’m taking advantage of that, lmao.

Surprisingly, the one more likely to kill you for crossing them is Reyanne, not Axel. Axel will let it slide because he’s too kind. Reyanne will fucking cut you, bitch. Especially if you insult her man.

It’s a dragon turtle named Razanid. Man holds the turtle like a hamburger and questions his life choices much like Dorian Storm on Critical Role holding Orym as a turtle and rolling away.

Cool things about him

•He's autistic (all my characters are tbh)

• he's an Outlander Ranger

•He's chaotic Evil but in a chill way

•He can speak 4 languages (Common. Infernal, Sylvan, and Drawvish) ((I wasn't expecting to need to pick two other languages so I chose random ones and fit it into the lore))

•he has thin gold cuffs on both of his horns and his tail

•crazy long wild hair that can't be tamed

•He's 6'3 and casts an unnaturally long ominous shadow. He had to learn to hide it when he's stealthing.

•He's ended up with 16 int so he's reads alot and studys random books and things he can acquire

•His adoptive father is a Dwarven man and He raised Valen in the woods, to be a hunter and protector of their home.

•Valen LOVES books, nature, and gold. He loves to study and learn from materials and by observing the world around him. He also likes gold to use as adornments and to buy trinkets and odd things.

•When he's living at home he mostly makes money by selling furs, pelts, meat, and things he's gathered, to the village outside the forest.

That's mostly how he's shaping up rn and I'm excited to flesh him out more and let him grow during the new campaign. >:3c

I'm obsessed w u.... ok so rn there are 5 dnd ocs that live in my brain but I have more they're just kinda dormant/I haven't solidified their designs yet. There's a lot (though I tried to be brief) so I'm putting it under a read more

Clementine Waitrose (redemption paladin) is my main guy rn I like them sm... their name isn't actually clementine but I can't say what it rlly is because the other players for this campaign follow me lol BUT they used to be a "knight" (if you could call it that)! It was their childhood dream to be captain but after they actually got to do that they soon grew to hate it, choosing instead to leave their position to pursue domesticity! But now they're adventuring because they have a few promises they left unfulfilled. They have a lot of lore I can't say outright

Tanis Skorzeni (shadow sorcerer). He sucks. I love him and I am shaking him around because I think he needs it. He wasn't always magic but he went caving one day, blacked out and woke up outside the cave with magic. Ran away from home when he was 13 because he was tired of the stress his dad caused him and found work playing piano in taverns and whatnot! He's 26 now and he's engaged :] his fiancée is ill though and the town clerics are too expensive so he's journeying to find money or a cure! Ended up in barovia though and can't get out. Also Strahd likes him a bit too much

Erebus Jiendia (eldritch knight)... they live in Icewind Dale, which has been experiencing winter for 2 years now and it SUCKS BAD. They come from a long line of wealthy artisans, so they're also a part of that, but they put down their pottery business for a while to go kill a God about this winter. They're very very angry also about something else I can't say and ending the winter seems like a productive outlet for that. They're the one that wears a mask they don't take off. Not because they can't but just because they don't want to. They're very nice though to their loved ones, including their worstie (not-so-secret best friend) Aster, who's another party member

Gale Kari (wild magic sorcerer) bimbo of my heart amen 🙏 ❤️. She was looking to reconnect w her bio parents a while back just out of curiosity, fell in love with someone named Jaz, decided that finding their bio parents wasn't that urgent, and settled down in a small town... Jaz went missing one day though and Gale has been waiting for xem ever since. She got tired of waiting in place though and is now out actively looking... but also trying to have fun about it as much as she can. To stay optimistic

Hi! Just wanted to address a few quick FAQs on here since ive done it on IG:

1. Why are your dice so expensive?

All my dice are handmade. They take a surprisingly long time to make and the materials are not cheap. One 7 piece set usually takes me 3-7 hours to complete, not counting the time spent waiting for the resin to cure. I wait 3 full days for my resin to fully cure before I polish the rough sides. 

2. What are your shipping fees?

Shipping is calculated at my local post office for US and INTL packages. Unless a large order (3+ full sets or 5+ singles) is placed, shipping is to be paid by the customer.

3. Where are you based?

I'm based in Southern California!

4. Who makes the dice?

I do! Hi, Im Mia. I use they/them pronouns and I love making Things. Im the sole employee of this business, so please be forgiving if I dont respond right away! Im an INTP/Sagittarius and my favorite show rn is Shadow and Bone (check my IG for some SOC/SAB themed dice 😁) Listening to music is one of my favorite things to do. I like musicals, reading books, playing games on my PC, and creating homebrew campaigns I'll never get to play.

5. Whats the fastest way to contact you?

6. What are your dice made of?

I use epoxy resin to cast my dice in silicone molds I custom make. Since just clear resin is kinda boring, i use mica powder, alcohol ink, dried flowers, glitter, gold foil, and more to make them pretty!

7. Do you take custom orders?

Yep! I take commissions via dms on both here and IG. Ill probably respond more quickly on IG, so just shoot me a DM with an idea of what youd like! Commissions start at $85 and go up depending on the complexity of your design and a few other factors. Shipping is not included.
