I don't even get the point of Thunderbringer to be honest, like it's just the crew facing the consequences of their actions. Why is it this big sad dramatic moment it should be three minutes of Zeus rocking out while dancing on the crews corpses because they stabbed Odysseus.

#this is sarcastic by the way #I'm saying the 'the crew is 100% in the wrong and Odysseus did nothing to warrant the mutiny' reading #actively takes away from the number #because you can't say 'they should have just listened to odysseus' when listening to Odysseus got them killed #like if listening to Odysseus means they might get fed to a monster #and not listening to Odysseus means they might get killed by a god #what's the fucking point of anything #they could have offered him as a sacrifice to Poseidon and they didn't #they could have thrown him overboard or left him to bleed out but they didn't #but sure right the intended takeaway is you don't feel anything for the crew or Odysseus's relationship with them #and Odysseus is completely in the right and this doesn't relate to him becoming the monster and doing monsterous things #it can't POSSIBLY be a situation where everyone's actions are understandable acts of desperation and all outcomes suck because it's a #tragedy #I'm pretty sure tragedies only have shitty people who deserve it suffer and die right?
