Number 6!
So, there is this thing to be found on the internet, about how biblically accurate angels look like Lovecraftian, eldritch monstrosities. Now I don't know if this is true, and I frankly don't care enough to go onto a research binge to find out, but as with anything and everything, my brain went: What can I do for Malec with this information? So now Alec has (semi-sentient) tentacles as a secondary feature. Much like a warlock's glamour, a nephilim mark can be hidden.
And most of his tentacles behave themselves, and they usually aren't out unless he wills them to (like with other shadowhunters). But that f-ing number 6! Number 6 just does whatever it (or rather Alec's subconcious) wants! Be that swatting Jace over the head when he is saying something dumb, or tripping Clary, or playfully pulling Izzy's hair, or sneakily wrapping around Magnus,... (okay, he might not be as opposed to that last one.)
#magnus bane#alec lightwood#malec#shadowhunters tv#malec headcanons#Alec has tentacles#and some of those are more mischievous than the others#I'm pretty sure I spelled mischieveous wrong#I actually spelled it wrong twice didn't I?#look this is a hard word okay?!#is there a synonym I can use for mischiefieous?#yeah I'm not even trying to get it right anymore#anyway#Alec's 6th tentacle is a little shit that does what it wants#or what Alec wants subconsciously.#magnus is mostly okay with it.#except for when number 6 startles him while he has a volatile potion in his hand or something like this

✎ daddy-to-be
- gojo satoru x reader
in which you're worried about how he'd react to you carrying his baby
genre: fluff and comfort, mentions of pregnancy and dizzy spells
note: i feel soooo warm writing this *sigh* thank u anon who asked this!
a part of gojo's love entries
general masterlist
"Gojo-sensei! Must we do this?"
"For real?!"
"Okaka..."
"Yoohoo! Hehehehe~"
You sighed at the sight of your tall paintbrush of a husband. Satoru was supposedly teaching his first years—Maki, Panda and Inumaki—and yet, from where you were standing, it looked more like he was bullying them into following his whims more than anything.
A kind reminder that… this silly man is the father of your unborn child.
He didn't know that you were pregnant yet, because you had discovered it just a few days ago and chosen to keep it a secret for the time being.
In theory, this was normal. You two were married and engaged in a high level of sexual activity—something Satoru made sure of—and therefore, conceiving a child was bound to happen sooner or later.
Admittedly, accepting the fact that you were carrying his baby wasn't as easy as you thought, even knowing that. You hadn't seriously talked about having kids, and sure, your husband might have just taken a young cursed boy Yuta into his care—and way before that, Megumi, but it wasn't the same with your own child. It can't be the same.
And not to mention that you two were jujutsu sorcerers. Where would raising a baby fit in this bloody, cursed world you lived in?
...and above all, as things stand now, does Satoru even want a baby?
You released another sigh as you walked away, but then your vision tipped and you had to grab the wall for support. Right, you hadn't even been feeling well these past few days. You got queasy easily, and you experienced sporadic bouts of vertigo too.
"Sensei?" Yuta's worried voice greeted you, and you forced yourself to remain upright. "Are you okay?"
"Ah, yes, I'm fine," you assured him with a smile.
"Should I get Gojo-sensei? You seem pale..."
"No, no, that's—"
"Ooh~ Wifey!"
You cursed his impeccable timing as the striking white hair of your husband came to view. A mischievous grin adorned his face, a bundle of sunshine and trouble as always, as he wrapped an arm around you.
"Don't you have to teach the second years? My pretty wife, you can't be slacking—"
His smile abruptly fell when you subconsciously leaned on him and he noticed your shallow breaths. Satoru promptly tightened his grip on you.
"Yuta," his tone had taken a sharper turn. "Go to the training grounds and train with the others. Class ends after that."
As Yuta nodded and proceeded on his way, he immediately turned to face you. "What's wrong?" he asked with genuine concern. "Are you not feeling well? Can you walk?"
"I'm fine," you insisted, even though the edges of your vision started to blur.
Satoru pursed his lips, and you could tell even with his blindfold on, he was staring at you hard. "Don't be stubborn. Come on, let's get you home."
In an instant, he teleported you back to your shared home, his arms securely under your knees. You didn't know when the dizziness started to ramp up, but you were sure to fall if he didn't have a secure grip on you.
"How long have you been feeling unwell?" he inquired as he carefully lowered you onto your bed.
Realizing there was no point in hiding it any longer, you squeezed your eyes shut as your head rested on the soft pillow. "...since this morning."
Satoru expressed his dissatisfaction with a grunt. "In that case, you shouldn't have gone to school. From now on, you're on leave."
He fussed over you—removing your shoes, fine-tuning the air conditioner, and ensuring you were snug in bed. "What is causing you to feel this bad? Is it something you ate? We had dinner together, and I feel perfectly fine..."
You raised your gaze to him just as he tore off his blindfold, his eyes locking with yours. The blue of his eyes scrutinizing and assessing you, and suddenly, you felt insecure as he quirked an eyebrow, seemingly suspecting something. “Is there something you aren't telling me?”
This is it. You couldn't keep this from him any longer. This was his child as much as yours, he had to know for you to be able to decide on the next steps.
You exhaled. "I'm… pregnant."
Silence. For the next five seconds, you could've sworn that Satoru held his own breath.
"Pregnant?" he repeated, stunned, widened cerulean marbles blinking several times. "You...?"
You sat up, reaching for your nightstand and retrieving the five pregnancy tests you had stashed in the drawer, handing them to him.
Satoru fixed his gaze onto the two red lines on the sticks, examining them and then shifting his eyes between you and them several times. You didn't dare to look at him, feeling your hands starting to shake and your gut twisting.
But contrary to your dread, before you could blink, he pulled you into his embrace. Your heart melted as he softly murmured, "Dummy, why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"I... I was worried. I didn't think I..."
He nuzzled into your neck, breathing in deeply. "Silly... I'm supposed to be your safe space. You can and absolutely should tell me these kind of things..."
A lingering fear persisted in your gut as you croaked out, "Are you... okay with it?"
Satoru snapped his head so quickly, his brow furrowed. "What do you mean—of course I am! Why wouldn't I be?"
You didn't know why, but his impromptu and steadfast declaration brought tears to your eyes.
"Stupid," he chided, his voice tinged with slight giddiness and overflowing fondness, and doubled with the wide grin on his face, you were starstruck. Holding your hand, he pressed a tender kiss on your knuckles, and then on the wedding band resting on your ring finger.
His sincere, warm eyes spoke volumes as he said, "You are my beautiful, lovely, and amazing wife. And now you're about to make me a daddy. Why wouldn't I be thrilled about that?"
You had given him love that saved him in countless ways, some of which you might not even realize. And now, you were about to gift him another piece of you to love—his own family to cherish. Satoru was convinced he couldn't love you more than he did in this moment.
You cried even harder, wiping your face sloppily as you pouted at him, voice clogged with tears, a mixture of relief and happiness overwhelming you. "Why are you so s-sweet? You're u-usually... such a menace..."
"Hey! That's slander! I'm always nice to you!" he protested with a mock frown, trying to lighten the mood.
Satoru brought you into his arms again, affectionately stroking your hair. His excitement was palpable as he chuckled gleefully at the very idea of becoming a father to a mini-him or you in a not-so-distant future.
With that sentiment in mind, he genuinely meant every word of what he softly uttered in your ear:
"I love you, sweetheart. And mark my words—with everything I have, I won't let anything happen to you or our baby… I swear it."

Alex: [Smiles warmly] Hi Coraleye…
Coraleye: [Smiles back] Hi Alex…
Alex: Ready for one last take before we officially call it a wrap?
Coraleye: I guess so! Alex: So how’s life treating you now? You adjusting okay?
Coraleye: Oh… well it's been a whirlwind, to say the least, heh. But I’m finding my footing again. Finally finishing up school. Just barely keeping my head above water some days, but yeah, I’m getting by. Trying to find my new normal.
Alex: [Nods thoughtfully] I want to talk about that a little bit. You’ve had to deal with the aftermath of everything that happened on election night. Do you remember when Cam and I came out to visit you in Brindleton Bay?
Coraleye: Mhm. I sure do. You interviewed some girls I went to school with.
Alex: So, Mackenzie, Briella, Logan… I’m not sure how much you’re aware of, especially with how quickly the media coverage was shut down after election night. But I’ve gotta ask—have you reached out to Coraleye at all since then? Offered any kind of support?
Logan: [Quickly glances at Mackenzie] I’m not sure if we got the chance to reach out yet, have we? Mackenzie:[Feigning innocence] She hasn't filled us in completely, but we’ve heard bits and pieces... Briella: We heard about her and her boyfriend. They broke up, right? [Big grin] Life has a cruel way of teaching us lessons!
Mackenzie presses her lips together, appearing to hold back a laugh, but finally cracks as a sharp cackle spills out.
Mackenzie: Oh my mod, Briella, stop! You can't say that! I just love you. So sorry about her, she's so crazy. Anyways, yeah. We wish her the best. I hope it all works out for her, I really do.
Cam: Well, I think that will probably do it for now, thank you ladies. Alex: Cam's right, thank you for your time. We'll be in touch. Have a happy Harvestfest.
Several weeks later, Britechester-
Alex: Cam and I try not to get too involved with work matters, but I'll be honest, that interview was upsetting. I wonder if they'd still be snickering if they saw what you've been through in these past few months.
Coraleye: Nah, they're the least of my worries. Pretty sure I got the last laugh when it comes to them. [Mischievous grin]
Alex: I'm in awe of your optimism, Coraleye. After all this, you’re really not bitter? I mean, look at Tycho—he lied, tried to erase your memories. And you still take the high road?
Coraleye: Oh no, please don’t get me wrong, Alex! I definitely went through—and sometimes still go through—my naughty phase, from time to time. Alex: [Leans in] You have my attention... Coraleye: Maybe it was for revenge, or a way to cope, or maybe deep down I was just really lonely and had a void to fill. Either way, it got me through some dark times. Perhaps you should book a follow-up interview with Briella, ask her if she found my panties in her boyfriend's room yet. [Waves at camera, winks, and mouths, ‘Hey, Pierce!’] Alex shakes his head amusedly and softly chuckles.
Alex: Damn! You really don't mess around. I'm guessing this doubles as punishment for Tycho as well?
Coraleye: Nope. Actually, his punishment is even better. I'm giving him exactly what he wants. After this documentary is over with, I'm erasing all of our shared memories together. He wanted to mess with my mind so badly, I'll do it for him. Alex: And how do you do that?
Coraleye: Through a spell, of course. You didn't forget that I'm a spellcaster, did you? I'll put the memories in an amulet and give it to our sage of untamed magic. They'll perform a ritual to destroy the memories. Alex: Wow. Remind me to never break your heart... Coraleye: [Smiles] Oh, I will. Alex: [Sighs] Well... Last question we're asking everyone else: Is there any question that you have, after all of this, that still haunts you?
Coraleye: [Tilts head, as she pauses to think] Hmm… I’ve still got to write that paper on my ten-year plan, and somehow I feel even more lost than before. I guess it’s time to start figuring that out now.

words: cigarette — light — running — mischievous — car
————
I don't have any multi-chapter fics, so I'll be pulling these from drabbles/one-shots instead 🥰
Cigarette
Upcoming spicy ficlets, October is just around the corner 🎃
When he did kiss the man, it wasn’t because he’d seen him in a bar and wanted to forget, or pass the time, it’s because he was genuinely relieved to see him alive, and they’d been in each others heads, finally a way to voice the tension between them. He tasted like cigarettes, and smelled like the cologne he’d been borrowing, but more than that—it was proof. They’d both lived through it, he was here, and they were themselves again. He has to stand on his tiptoes to reach his lips, something the man notices, can feel his hand steadying him, warmth that radiates through him at the simple gesture. It’s unconscious, reflexive but it’s so much more than either thought they’d have.
“Sometimes ‘m glad you can’t read my mind anymore.”
“Don’t need to.”
Light
The Spider and the Fly--an series of drabbles focused on Hiro's early years in the claws
The first time he met the man was a night as unremarkable as any other—he got there as the lights were starting to dim, neon signs giving the streets an otherworldly glow. He supposed they were pretty in their own way, clustered thick enough you could scarcely see the sky. Slipping through the door, he nodded to the bartender, and received a curl of his shoulder in return. He was already busy wiping down glasses, a stained towel in hand, motion routine, a furrow on his brow. Rolling his sleeves up, he leaned against the bar, murmur neatly drowned out by the music. “Need help?” And then seeing the preoccupied expression, “anything wrong?” There’s a moment of hesitation, deliberation as he glances at the door. “Boss is in tonight. Said not to bother him.” Ah.
Running
A very self-indulgent Sandman Drabble
The writing bug bit me HARD with this one and got up at 4 and had to get it out before I forgot pieces--might go back to it eventually and write more. I still loves bits of it.
Consciousness comes with the realization that he still hasn’t gotten off, and is still frustratingly hard, running an errant hand through his hair, shoving the strands back into something presentable. He can still taste the man on his tongue. A quick glance at the cat sleeping in his bed, legs twitching in a dream. Not like she could see him, it was fine, before wrapping his hand around his length, getting off to the thought of bruising kisses, pleasure taken from him. He knows it’s demeaning, maybe says something about his psyche but as he cums, a cry muffled in his hand, he can’t bring himself to care.
Mischievous
Nope!--the reason behind this one is stupid. It's one of those random words I have a VERY hard time spelling, even if it comes to mind often. I usually end up using impish instead, or re-writing the sentence entirely.
Car
Didn't get this one. Hiro rides a bike, and I seldom write him in cars. I've definitely written about it in really loose RP snippets but not in a drabble/anything solo.

Dwarf Phoenix and sphinx for the fantasy asks 😁
pretty sure I already answered some asks from you, so I'm not sure if you meant to send asks twice (could be, since these are different than in the first one) or if you meant to send this to someone else, but I'll answer this in any case! 😁
𝐃𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐟 - What is a word that you always seem to spell wrong?
There are probably SO MANY, but of course I can't remember any rigth now 😂 In English, miscellaneous is one that I always prefer to check for the correct spelling, as well as mischievous. The other day I kept misspelling embarrassed too for some reason.
𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐱 - Random facts about yourself:
My hands and feet are always cold (except when it's warm enough in the summer (i.e. at least +25), I can't snap my fingers except by accident sometimes, I own 4 different copies of Le Petit Prince
𝐒𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐱 - What was the last book you read?
It's been an embarrassingly long time since I last finished a book, so it's still Ravage the Dark by Tara Sim.
thank you!! 💗

Why is saying I love you so complicated... why can't Sirius do it... why... why... why... was the word that kept turning in Remus's mind after his encounter with Manon Wondercrift. You already don't like her... you're right... let's take a brief jump back in time and go back a few hours earlier in the library...
Manon Wondercrift was a 16-year-old Ravenclaw. You might be wondering why she is in Ravenclaw, a cunning and sly girl like her? Because despite her undeniable characteristics, Manon was clever and incredibly intelligent. Yes, she knew where to press to hurt, she knew where to press to achieve her goals... despite her surely black shell, she had a heart... a heart that entirely belonged to Remus... Remus Lupin. She had been crazy about him since their first year. They were in the same class, and the moment she met his gaze, she fell under the spell of our handsome wolf...
But Manon had a problem. Her problem was named Sirius Black. Sirius and Remus had been a couple for 2 years, and although she knew "everything" about Remus, she was ignorant about many things regarding Sirius... Unfortunately for her, Remus seemed to be in love with him... Only that morning she woke up with a genius idea, yes, a GENIUS idea. As a girl in love, she had... stalked Remus... no... yes, totally... she had spent every minute of her free time watching Remus, so, watching his pretty little couple... and if there was one thing she was sure of about Sirius, it was that he had never said "I love you" to his boyfriend, and that's where she came in!
She knew that Remus had low self-esteem and that his best friends often had to remind him that he deserved his place here, even though she never understood why he was like that, she knew that this was her strength and that this was the weakness of the one who made her heart beat...
There it was! Remus was alone! As often in the library, while he was quietly reading his Transfiguration lesson, she went to approach him.
Manon: Hi Remus... she said, batting her eyelashes.
Remus, out of his usual kindness, looked at her and replied.
Remus: Hi! Manon, right?
Manon: Yes, that's right, nice to meet you!
Remus: Likewise!
Manon stood there staring at him, and Remus hated that even from Sirius, it made him uncomfortable. He added.
Remus: Did you want something in particular? he said, smiling.
Manon: Oh... uh, yes actually... I'm not sure how to approach this... you might find it intrusive.
Remus smiled and said.
Remus: Go ahead, don't be afraid... I won't bite you! he frowned at his own words.
Manon: No... well, yes of course, she said, laughing way too loudly to be natural.
Manon: So... I noticed that... well... you're with Sirius...
Remus laughed: Yes! So far, I think the whole castle knows!
Manon: Actually... I noticed... that... he never... well... he never told you "I love you."
Remus, surprised by this invasion of his private life, frowned.
Remus: Yes, I know... but Sirius doesn't need to say it... I know it...
Manon: Yes, I can imagine... but... what if... you're just imagining things... what if... well... he didn't love you... and that's why he never said it...
He didn't love you... he didn't love you... these few words completely disrupted Remus's rosy life... turning his head from the pink period to the blue period...
Manon, proud of the impact her words had, left, proud of herself, a mischievous smile on her lips.
Remus, overwhelmed, wandered the corridors of the castle for a while without really knowing where he was going... and what if Manon was right? He had to clear things up... he climbed to the Gryffindor tower. Arriving in the common room, he saw James, Lily, and Peter chatting.
Lily: Hi Rem! she said with a bright smile on her lips.
Remus: Hi... he said, his thoughts still directed towards the same person.
Lily immediately saw that something was wrong with her best friend, just like James and Peter.
James: Rem... are you sure you're okay?
Remus: I... yes, yes, he said in a small voice.
Remus: Have you seen Sirius?
James: Yes... he's upstairs... he looked for you for an hour, then, as surprising as it may seem, he decided to do his Transfiguration homework! he said to lighten the mood.
Remus smiled at that. It was true that his boyfriend and best friend had never been a great worker. He always got good grades without studying and often even without cheating.
Remus climbed up to see Sirius. He entered their dormitory, bathed in the rosy and orange light of the setting sun. He turned and saw Sirius almost lying on his homework, stretched out on his bed, strands of hair hiding his handsome face and his piercing grey eyes. He was still in their uniform but had removed his sweater and tie, which were carelessly lying on a chair. His shoes were on the floor near the door. He had rolled up his shirt sleeves and unbuttoned two buttons, revealing the top of his chest.
Sirius looked up and saw Remus.
Sirius: Moony! You scared me! I looked for you for an hour, and then I checked the map and saw you were in the library, so I left you to work, he said, smiling.
Remus sat next to him, wondering how he was going to bring up the subject that had been bothering him since that afternoon.
Remus: Siri... can I ask you a question?
Sirius: Yes, of course! Go ahead, I'm listening.
Remus took a deep breath and said.
Remus: Do you... love me... it's just that... we've been together for two years, and I've said it to you, but you... do you feel the same... love with a capital L...
Sirius lowered his head, the words getting stuck in his throat, the images jostling in his head, and his heart tightening.
Remus sighed... he should have known... why. Sirius, the most incredible guy the world has ever known, would love him...
Remus: I see... he stood up, his face void of any emotions.
Sirius held him by the arm as he also stood up.
Sirius: You see what... Rem...?
Remus: I see that for two years I've been imagining things, I've been building castles in the air thinking about our future, thinking that... you loved me... Sirius... I thought you loved me... he said, his voice filled with sadness.
Sirius: You... you can't understand, Remus... I... he said, struggling against his own tears.
Remus: Then explain to me! Sirius, I loved you, I love you, and I will always love you... how... could you let me believe it was mutual...
Sirius: But... it is... it's just that I...
Remus: It's just that you don't love me enough to say it... I understand, Sirius... who would want me... seriously, I hate myself.
Sirius: No! It has nothing to do with you... it's me... I... I can't, he said, collapsing against the wall, letting his tears flow freely as he had never done before. He had brought his knees to his chest and pressed his head against them, showing Remus only a huddled Sirius, his hair forming a curtain in front of his face, and the sound of muffled sobs... he had never seen Sirius in such a state...
He approached him, huddling in front of him. He pushed Sirius's jet-black hair behind his ears. Sirius lifted his tear-reddened eyes.
Sirius: I'm so sorry... so... I want to say it so much... but... I... another sob took hold of him.
Remus, unable to see the man he loved in such a state, took him in his arms, running his hand along his back to console him. He brought him to his bed, and there they lay together, Sirius with his head nestled in Remus's neck and his arms around the young lycanthrope's waist, while Remus had his head in Sirius's hair, constantly repeating, "Everything's okay... I'm here..." while stroking his cheek. Sirius fell asleep with the traces of his tears on his cheeks, and Remus couldn't suppress a slight smile full of tenderness and pure love... he couldn't find sleep, too busy thinking about Sirius's reaction... there was no longer any doubt Sirius loved him, but now why had he gotten into such a state...? As Sirius was waking up slowly, Remus kissed his cheek and checked the time.
Remus: 4:32... come on... he took his hand, and Sirius followed him, knowing very well what conversation awaited him.
Remus sat on one of the sofas in the common room, and Sirius came to snuggle up against him.
Remus: Do you want to tell me, little star?
Sirius snuggled even closer to Remus and closed his eyes, letting the images overwhelm him. He took a deep breath and said.
Sirius: It was... when I was 7 years old...
Flashback
Sirius was 7 years old. Like any 7-year-old child, he felt the urge to express his feelings. While he was walking in the street to clear his mind, he saw not far from him a little girl of his age with what seemed to be her mother...
The girl had said to her mother, "I love you, mommy!" and the mother had smiled and hugged her daughter, returning those three little words...
Sirius, seized by a wave of affection, thought that maybe if his mother was hard on him, it was because he had never said that to her... and that by saying those words, his mother would have the same reaction and she would take him in her arms. Sirius dreamed of that sensation, the sensation of holding someone in his arms. Not that he had never done it with his little brother, but he dreamed of a hug from a mother, of a mother's love.
Sirius cheerfully headed home. He passed through the imposing door of the manor and went to present himself in the living room...
Walburga: This is the hour you come back! Little incapable!
Sirius smiled despite the insult because for him, after the three words he was about to say, all that would be over. She would take him in her arms, he would feel happy, that feeling he had felt for the first time at his brother's birth but had quickly forgotten...
Sirius stood before her and said: Mother! I have something to tell you!
Walburga growled and said: Hmm... what do you have to tell me that’s so important?
Sirius: I should have told you long ago, but well! Better late than never! So here it is.
Walburga: Hmm...
Sirius: I love you, mother! I adore you despite our "differences." You are my mother!
At that precise moment, Sirius saw his mother stand before him. He smiled like a child who was given a gift, but...
BAM!
Sirius was dismayed, he was on the floor... his hand pressed against his reddened cheek, tears in his eyes.
Walburga glared at him with a disgusted look and said in a bloody voice:
Walburga: How dare you show your feelings! Never have the Blacks stooped to such misery! Believe me! You will never make that mistake again. If you even dare to repeat that word once, I swear... CRUCIO!
Sirius writhed on the ground. Never had he suffered so much.
After an hour of torture under the screaming "Crucio" and the blows, he was put in his "room," a gloomy place lined with horrible black and green wallpaper with only a bed in the middle. He went to sit as best he could on the floor, his back pressed against the bed... He reached his hand under his bed to pull out a small iron box where he kept things his "mother" hadn't yet thrown into the fire... He took out a small figurine named "Problem" and held it in his hand, repeating,
"Never again... never again will I show my feelings... never again will I say I love you..." his gaze dark and devoid of any feelings.
End of flashback
Sirius: It was... it was at that moment... that... I put on my "mask." No one has ever received an ounce of love or friendship from me... It was when I met you... you, James, Peter, that I learned what friendship was... what... love was... even love with a capital L as you say, he said, smiling...
He told this story like a person being asked how much 2+2 is, as if he had forgotten for a moment that this child... was him.
Remus had tears in his eyes: I am so sorry, Sirius... if I had known I...
Sirius, smiling sadly: No one knows... not even James... not even Regulus... but you... you had to know... you had to know that I...
Remus, taking his hand: You don't have to...
Sirius, looking him straight in the eyes: I have to...
Remus: Sirius...
Sirius: I love you, Remus, like I have never loved anyone before. You taught me how to love, how to be happy... you taught me how to live, Moony. I loved you, I love you, and I will always love you.
Remus, moved by these words, replied: Forever and always...
Sirius smiled, kissed him, and whispered: Forever and always...
After that day, Remus went to tell Manon his four truths and cut ties with her.
After that day, nothing could separate Remus and Sirius.
"Not even a war, not even a prison, not even a Metamorphmagus."
On their wedding day, Sirius took Remus's hand and threw his doll named Problem into the sea. Then he turned to his now husband and said:
"I no longer need her... because the moment I met you, I knew it was with you that I wanted to share my problems forever and always, Moony."
And he replied: "Forever and always, Mr. Sirius Lupin."
As with Picasso, where the Blue and Rose Periods show that together, they can overcome all challenges with love...

"Rook, what's all this nonsense about?" "The greys are like pixies, but nobody likes their jokes." Rook explained, "I'd pay for the chance to stick one of them in the containment unit." "Lovely." He rolled his eyes. He found it was never a good sign when Rook held a grudge against an entity. It only happened with those that were powerful enough to elude her. At least it looked like Bill had been successful in his hunt. Good. Now, if everybody could have been so kind to get off his lawn... "Oh, that's just Alexa." Rook explained, motioning to the bamboo sprout in question, "Lucien can teach spinach how to send emails. You've got to love that." Lucien was about to correct her, but refrained when she turned to give Antonio a not so gentle poke. She was definitely more upset than she let on. Still, it was the strange that the music was still playing. "Now, care to explain what the fuck is wrong with you? It's been a bloody mess at the office today!"
"You should consider yourself thankful you've not had an encounter yourself," Leofric replied, "They do enjoy mischievous spells. Some worse than others."
He wasn't going to get into the incident of the man who got turned into a merman and was so horrified he cut the tail off and almost died from the shock and blood loss.
"Huh, neat," Bill said, with a small grin, "The things you can do with plants other than the usual growing crops, prettying up gardens, helping keep bees alive, and maybe making a few things to smoke. Clever."
Leofric was wearing a frown of his own. He didn't like that the music was still playing like that. It meant that despite Bill being so confident that they had managed to stop Antonio, there was something not quite right.
Antonio gritted his teeth when he felt his side being jabbed at. He was in enough pain without that.
"Right now, I'm blindfolded, currently aching, my pride is wounded, and I'm trapped," Antonio only replied, although he didn't sound too torn up about that situation, "And I'd like to get out of here. Maybe I'll be up to talk more once we're back in the real world and not this place."
"Nah, come on, we got time," Bill said, "I know plants don't agree with me but I can hang about for a bit."
Leofric had already started to flip through a smaller grimoire that he had been carrying in his pocket. He knew the page he needed, and if he was lucky, he would already have a pill of the antidote on hand. If not, it would be easy to put together. He hadn't done decades of research into creating a simple anti-magic antidote with minimal ingredients after all.
"I'm sure Lucien would like to see me gone as well," Antonio added then, aiming to sway the decision further with just that statement alone. The man preferred his privacy after all, and this place seemed to be like a sanctum to him.
"Well, that's up to him more than you," Bill said, "Leofric?"
"I think I might have an antidote already on hand. I still don't like that music though. It's making me uneasy."
"I like it," Bill said, grinning, "Plant's got good taste."
"I suppose some have a redemption arc, and I suppose some go in the opposite direction," Antonio said, "On this occasion, you are the better person than me, I won't deny that."
He chuckled a little bit.
"Of course not," Antonio said, drumming a set of sharp claws on the top of his walking cane. When had they appeared? "You think I'm going to miss a rare chance to be something more than what I am now?"
Despite all of his efforts. It appeared that Lucien just couldn't be swayed. Antonio could see it in his face, especially his eyes.
"Heh, of course not," Antonio replied then, "Well, you've made your choice. Seeing as I can't have your mind..."
The green swirling mists disappeared from his eyes, and they instead turned a solid black, like that of a long abandoned tunnel. His teeth appeared sharper, and green energy formed around his hands. He then held one of that out towards Lucien, who might have started to feel a horrible stretching sensation inside of his chest.
"I'm going to have your soul."

"Doll, C'mere real quick!"
Dabi shouts from your shared bathroom. Eyebrows knit together, you waste no time slipping your bookmark into your book and hopping out of bed, quickly walking over to where he was. You stick your head into the doorway. "You ok, Dabi?"
He simply chuckles, finding your concern for him both amusing and adorable. "Just wanted to show you something, now close your eyes for me."
"Um, ok."
His footsteps grew louder until they finally came to a stop once he was standing in front of you. “Alright, you can open ‘em now.”
Slowly, you open your eyes. You let a surprised gasp. His white locks are pulled back into a small, ponytail that sat on the top of his head. The little that was left, dangling as short bangs that covered his blue eyes. He smirks.
"Dabi, your hair..."
“Looks pretty good, huh?”
“I… It-you look more than good. You look-”
“Hot is whatcha gonna say.”
Your gaze shifts to the floor. Heat rises up to your cheeks, up to your face. You give him a sheepish smile before answering, "Y-yeah."
“I know you would like it. You always had a thing for people with ponytails, especially guys. You’re such a sucker for it, probably even more now that I’ve done it.”
"Hey, you don't have to call me out like that."
"Why not when I know it's true."
His blue eyes flash mischievously as he pulls you into his arms for a kiss.
“So is there anything you wanna see me in? Got any ideas?"
"Eh, not really. Any 'do you do, I'm sure I'll love the hell out of it."

Writer, got it, ok!
--
"It's me!"
Pair: Camilo x Gender neutral!reader
Genre: romantic, fluff
Summary: Y/n and Camilo are spending their mornings in his room, when y/n suddenly asked Camilo to proofread one of their works.
••
Camilo was waiting for Y/n to arrive at his room, both of them were together earlier, until Y/n forgot their notebook where they write their stories, so they asked Camilo to go ahead and just wait for them.
After a few minutes, Y/n came running inside Camilo's room, obviously tired, they didn't want Camilo to be waiting that long so they ran.
"You look like you ran a marathon, mi dulce!" He laughed while looking at Y/n, meanwhile the latter glared at him and they threw the notebook on his face. They flopped themselves at Camilo's bed groaning.
"I needed to get that, i finished it last night and could you like proofread it?" They ask, Camilo stayed silent so Y/n turns to look at him and saw Camilo looking at them with a strange face.
"Proofread? ¿Que demonios es eso?" He asked them.
"You know, read it and see if you can spot any mistakes for example, spelling, what if i spelled one word wrong." Camilo nodded thoughtfully as Y/n explained to him, he was flipping the pages and went to the last one. "Find the part where the protagonist went to annoy his sister for money."
Camilo quickly scanned the notebook to find that scene, and when he did find it, he read it out loud so Y/n can hear it too.
"Diego went to find his sister inside her room, and when he saw her peacefully reading a book he smiled mischievously as he entered her room without knocking "oh dear sister!" He said. "You know that you're my favorite sister in the whole world right?" His sister gave him a stern look before saying. "I'm your only sister." " Camilo snorted at the scene he just read.
"Hey keep going!" Y/n shouted at him but Camilo kept laughing and Y/n can't help but join him. "Seriously keep going!"
"Okay okay! He rolled his eyes at the response he got but; nonetheless he went beside her giving his sister a pleading look "can you lend me some money Elena?" The girl paid no attention to her brother causing Diego to whine "c'mon Elenaaaaa, pretty pleaseee???" Annoyed she looks at her brother and plainly said, "no." Jeez what does he need the money for?" He asked Y/n.
"You have to read to find it out." They said with a smile, Camilo smiled as well, he didn't mind he was enjoying the story Y/n wrote.
" Diego pouted, it was a sore eye for his sister. "Why can't you get your own money? Find a job you're 20!" Elena shouted at her younger brother while shaking her head. "That's why i'm asking for money! I'm finding a job!" The boy shouted hopeful that his sister would believe him, but boy is he wrong. "No, you're asking money so you could go and visit your girlfriend from another country." She said while smirking at Diego, the boy grumbled before standing and he whispered "worth a shot" Woah- okay hold up, i knew he was kind of familiar ever since i read this." Camilo said to himself, "who did you base the main character from?" Camilo asked Y/n who was beside him.
Their face was flushed, embarrassed? No, maybe flustered. They cleared their throat before answering.
"Uhm, i based him off of you." They answered unable to look at Camilo, meanwhile the latter gave Y/n a tight squeeze and a kiss on their cheeks.
"I knew it! It's me! You just love me so much that you had to make your main character like me, huh?" He teased, Y/n playfully rolled their eyes with a smile on their face as they shove Camilo.
"Shut up, just read the whole thing."
And so the two of them enjoyed teasing each other for the rest of the day.

Sorry it's short! But i had fun writing this :))

Wanda Maximoff X Reader - The Parent Trap
Summary: When the identical twins Billy and Tommy Maximoff are sent to the same summer camp, they hatch a plan to get their mothers back together by switching places. Or, The Parent Trap AU. / AO3
Warnings: Fluff and a bit of language.
Words: 4.229K
Notes: I want to know if anyone likes this, please tell me your opinion ;) And good reading! By the way, gif is not mine!
Part Two
The whole thing looked suspicious to you. Billy was acting too strange. He didn't run and throw himself on the couch when he got back from camp, or throw his shoes around the house like he always did. He also didn't pick up the basketball reference you made to him in the car. At first you thought maybe it was puberty. But he told you he was tired from the trip, and you messed up his hair, and told him to go get something to eat. When your dog Krypto didn't recognize him, you told him that he needed to change his clothes, because he must be smelling the camp.
Running the vineyard was taking all your time, but you were hoping to spend some time with your boy now that he was back.
You were surprised when your fiancée showed up at your house unannounced. You were trying to find a way to tell Billy about Tabitha. You met her when Billy was at camp, and you hired her as a publicist for the vineyard. And even you yourself were surprised when she asked you out. Many dates later, you were engaged to be married. You tried not to think about it so much, and to remember Tabitha's words, saying that Billy would be happy to have two mother figures, that she would help you take care of him because she had a freer schedule than yours. Honestly, you were surprised that she was in love with you.
Natasha, your best friend and housekeeper, gave you an incredulous and debauched look when you told her about your engagement, but didn't question you. You imagined that she just wanted to make fun of you.
Tabitha told you that you should tell her about the engagement right away, like ripping off a band aid. You were trying to find the right moment.
When you and Billy went out riding, you decided to tell him, hoping that he would be happy. You were a little nervous, finding it strange when he didn't even remember your usual camping trip before the end of the summer, but you thought he was just distracted.
- Hey honey, I want to tell you something. - You said, and he looked away from the vineyard in front of him and looked at you curiously. - What do you think of Tabitha?
- Like what, Mom? - He replies. - Your publicist? Your friend?
- No, dear, just what you think of her as a person. - You clarify a bit awkwardly.
Billy thought for a few seconds.
- Well, she's pretty, has good teeth and nice hair. She can spell. - He replied. - But honestly, Mom, she's a complete stranger to me. Why do you want my opinion?
You hesitated for a moment, and swallowed your nervousness.
- Well, Billy, I'll tell you why. - You said with a trembling voice. - Because believe it or not...
- Race to the house, Mom! - He shouted, interrupting you and riding away at high speed.
You choked in surprise, as you shouted that you were trying to tell him something, but he kept riding away. You mumbled to yourself, as you rode after him.
When you finally reached the house, Natasha was crying. You ran up to her to ask if she was all right, but she just smiled, saying that they were tears of happiness, that Billy was so big and healthy. You frowned in confusion, but you were too distracted in telling your son that you were getting married to think much about it. And then Natasha left the room saying that she was going to prepare a special lunch for you both, and you sat with Billy on the sofa.
- Honey, we need to talk now. - You told him, trying to sound serious and gentle at the same time. Billy just nodded. - Honey, I want to know how you feel about Tabatha being part of the family.
- Part of our family?
- Yes.
- I think it's incredible. - He said, and you felt a wave of relief wash over your body.
- Really?
- Totally, Mom! It's a dream! - he said excitedly. - I always wanted a big sister!
It was as if a bucket of cold water had fallen on your head.
- Honey, I don't... I think you've got it wrong.
- No, mommy! I love it! - He says. - We're going to adopt Tabitha! That's so sweet, Mom.
- No, honey. - You deny it flatly. - I'm not adopting her. I'm marrying her.
It takes a second, and then Billy lets out a mixed exclamation of surprise and anger, getting up from the couch.
- Marry her? That's crazy! - he shouts. - How can you marry someone who is young enough to be my sister?
And then he starts shouting in a language you think is Russian as he paces in circles around the room, and you raise your eyebrows in surprise.
- Honey, calm down! - you ask, pulling him gently towards you. - And since when do you speak Russian?
- I learned it at camp. - He answers quickly, and then assumes an almost hurt expression. - You can't get married, Mama! It will ruin everything!
And he lets go of your grip, rushing out of the room. You let out a sigh of dissatisfaction, thinking about how it all went wrong, and throw yourself on the sofa. Natasha looks at you from the kitchen door.
- That was shameful. - She comments.
- He thought I was going to adopt her. - You retort with your eyes closed and your head against the pillows.
- That's exactly why it was embarrassing. - She scoffs, laughing softly. You don't answer, beginning to feel a slight headache forming.
You barely have time to absorb the whole conversation, when you hear a radio noise in the distance. But a few minutes, and Tabitha enters the room, sitting on your lap.
- Hello, sweetie. - She said - You look stressed.
And then she kissed you, wrapping both hands around your neck. You really just wanted to go back to bed. You let out an unsatisfied sigh, interrupting the kiss. Tabitha looked at you curiously.
- I told Billy about our wedding. - You said, and she seemed excited.
- And how was it?
- Horrible! - you said, upset. - He was furious. He yelled at me in Russian, and I didn't even know he spoke Russian!
Tabitha let out a giggle.
- Take it easy, sweetie. - She said, rubbing her hands on your shoulders. - It's a very common reaction. I'd be worried if he didn't have a reaction like that. - She argues, and begins to deposit kisses against your collarbone. You appreciate the touch, even if they don't really affect you that much. - Let me talk to him. He needs to know that I'm not an enemy.
You let out a low grumble, running your right hand over your eyes.
- Okay, Tabi. - You agree. - But be gentle.
She giggles mischievously, giving you a kiss before getting up. You sink your face into your hands as she leaves, feeling tired.
It's been a few days since you told Billy about your marriage. He hasn't mentioned it again, but he is treating you normally. Tabitha told you that the conversation went well, and you believed her.
Now you are packing your bags, getting ready to go for a weekend in the Hamptons, where Tabitha's parents, whom you haven't met yet, will be staying. You have a strange feeling, as if something is going to happen, but you can't tell what it is.
And when you drive to the hotel, you sit with Billy in the back seat while Natasha drives, and you share some snacks. Billy also begs you to take Krypto, and you agree while ruffling his hair.
Tabitha's parents seem nice, you think. They greet you quite enthusiastically, and you are embarrassed when Tabitha slips her hand to your buttocks for a moment when you hug.
After you check in, you and Tabitha say goodbye to her parents temporarily as they leave toward the bar, and you both make your way to the elevator to your rooms, with Billy and Natasha following a bit behind as they try to get Krypto to obey. Tabitha is particularly needy today, and you wish she wouldn't cling to you so much in such a crowded place, feeling uncomfortable.
As you press the elevator button for your floor, while Tabitha snuggles up to you, you look toward the lobby and widen your eyes in surprise. Your ex-wife, Wanda Maximoff is standing in the center of the lobby, and she waves to you just before the elevator door closes completely. You think you are hallucinating, and wonder if you have finally lost your mind.
Tabitha continues kissing your collarbone, but you are completely disconnected from reality. When you arrive at your room, she pulls you inside, trying to take off your clothes.
- No, darling. I'm sorry. - You deny it, pushing her hands away as you try to think of a plausible excuse. - I need to see if everything is okay with Billy and Nat, okay? We'll see about that later.
Tabitha pouts, but lets you go, strutting sensuously into the bathroom. You smile awkwardly, then leave the room.
You look around as if you're looking for someone, and you really are. And then you bump into Billy in the hallway.
- Hey baby! - You greet him by bending down to his height and putting your hands on his shoulders. - I'm going to go to the lobby. Do me a favor and look after Tabitha for me, will you?
- All right, Mom.
- Oh, honey. - You say hesitantly. - How do I look? Do I look good?
Billy smiles, giving you a thumbs-up.
- You look beautiful, Mom.
- Okay, okay. - You say clumsily, and mess up his hair before heading back toward the elevator.
When you reach the lobby, you look around, trying to locate Wanda around. And you're startled to see Billy again.
- Honey, I thought you were going to keep Tabitha company. - You say, and he looks slightly nervous. But you're not really paying attention.
- I will, Mom. - He says, looking around quickly. - I'm just trying to find her.
- Okay. - You mumble without really listening to him. - I'll walk around here, and see you upstairs.
But then Billy hugs you tight around the waist.
- It's good to see you, Mom. - He whispered, and you frowned in confusion, but smiled, bending down to return the hug quickly.
- It's good to see you too, honey. - You joked, and pulled him away slightly to make sure he was all right. He looked happy.
- It's okay, Mom, you can go. - He said, and you ruffled his hair before heading off in the opposite direction, looking around with a mixture of nervousness and excitement.
The hotel was quite large, and you had been looking for many minutes by the time you got to the pool area.
And then you saw her, in all her glory, coming down the stairs on the opposite side from where you were standing. A smile slipped from your lips at the same moment, and you felt your heart race. Wanda looked just as beautiful as the last time you saw her, almost twelve years ago.
Your feet moved automatically, but it seemed that suddenly all the people in the pool area were in your way to get to her. You heard Natasha call out to you, warning you to be careful, but then you are bumping into one of the waiters, stumbling backwards and falling into one of the pools.
You think Billy screamed in surprise, but you kept following Wanda through the water, she noticed you with all this commotion.
Coming out of the pool, completely drenched, you let out a happy sigh as you stopped in front of her.
You should be grinning like an idiot, but Wanda also seemed amazed to see you.
- Wanda. - You sighed.
- Hi Y/N.
- Wow, there you are. - You said, still impressed. Wanda just smiled at you, equally embarrassed. - Sorry, something's happened that I don't know about. I'm completely surprised to see you, but you don't seem surprised to see me at all. - You say and Wanda looks away quickly. - I haven't seen, or known anything about you for ten or maybe eleven years. And suddenly on the same day...
- Hi Mom. - Billy interrupts you, and you look at him in surprise. - I can explain why she's here.
- Honey, do you... do you know who she is?
- Actually, I do. - He says, smiling awkwardly. - And actually, I'm not Billy.
- Actually, I am.
You choke in surprise to see your two twins together, next to each other.
- What... You two...
- You and Mom must think alike, because you sent us to the same camp. - Billy says. You feel your heart racing, still completely in shock. - We met there, and everything came up.
- They switched places, Y/N. - Clarified Wanda beside you.
You let out a sigh.
- You mean I was with Tommy all this time? - you ask with emotion in your voice.
- Well, I wanted to know what you were like. - Tommy said. - And Billy wanted to know what Mom was like. Are you angry?
- Honey of course not. - You denied it by bending down to his height. - I just can't believe it's you, look how much you've grown. - You say happily, pulling him into a tight hug. You pull him away a moment later to look at his face tenderly, running your fingers over his cheeks. - My boy looks so handsome.
Tommy smiles at you, and then releases your grip, returning to his brother's side.
- And you, Billy, have you been in London all this time? - you ask, and he shrugs. You let out a short laugh before hugging him tightly. - I can't believe you're together.
- Mom is awesome, Mom. - Says Billy looking at you. - I don't know how you let her get away.
You laugh uncomfortably, then let him go.
- Boys, let me and your mother talk for a moment, okay? - Wanda asks with a smile. Billy and Tommy nod slightly, and you put your hands in your pockets awkwardly as you and Wanda walk around the pool until you sit on one of the benches, facing each other. You think you should try to stop smiling so much, but this must be the happiest you've been in twelve years.
- I can't believe this. - You comment, biting your lips for a moment. - Seeing them together. Seeing you.
Wanda giggles, a slight redness in her cheeks.
- How are you, Wands? - you ask, and realize that the nickname escapes your lips with ease. - Or does everyone call you Miss Maximoff now?
She smiles, a little awkwardly, denying it with her head.
- My brother still calls me Wands. - She says. - You can call me whatever you like. - She smiles awkwardly.
- And how is Pietro? - you find yourself asking. You were overflowing with curiosity, wanting to absorb as much of Wanda as possible, afraid that she would disappear at any moment. - Is he married?
- Oh no. - She giggles. - Pietro lives with me now. He retired from racing. He goes on casual dates, but he says he doesn't want anything serious.
- You haven't changed a bit. - You comment, looking at her adoringly. God, she looks so beautiful.
- There you are! I've been looking all over for you! - says a female voice startling you both. You look away from Wanda quickly, Tabitha looks at you both with a frown. - Good, you have met. Honey, Miss Maximoff designs wedding dresses, and she's going to make... Wait, how do you two know each other? And honey, why are you all wet?
You and Wanda stand up awkwardly, you run your hand straight down the back of your neck, trying to think how exactly to explain, feeling Tabitha's confused gaze on you.
- You are going to make my fiancee's dress. - You say, turning to Wanda.
- I didn't know she was your fiancée. - She retorts.
- How we met... How I know you... - You turn to Tabitha again, trying to find a way to tell her. - How do you two know each other?
- Sorry, am I missing something here? - Tabitha asks with narrowed eyes.
- You know, this world is so small. - You comment with a wry smile.
- How small? - She replies seriously.
- Hello, Tabitha. - says Tommy, appearing next to the blonde. She greets him back, but then looks at you waiting for your answer.
- How are you? - Billy asks, appearing on the other side, and Tabitha jumps in fright.
- How... - She spins her body around quickly, varying her gaze and finger pointing between Billy and Tommy. - Two of them... How?
- So, did I ever mention that Billy was a twin?
- You forgot that little detail. - She replies with slight irritation in her voice, looking at you and crossing her arms.
- Don't be upset. - said Tommy. - She didn't tell me either. And by the way, I'm not Billy. He is. - He explained. - I was pretending to be him, while he was pretending to be me.
- And that's our other mother over there. - Said Tommy quickly pointing to the redhead next to you. - Wanda Maximoff.
Wanda smiled, but Tabitha didn't look happy at all.
- Is that your mother? - she asked incredulously. The boys nodded in agreement. - Were you two married?
- Yes. - Both of you confirmed clumsily.
- Oh, yes. Small world indeed. - Tabitha says.
- It just got smaller. - You comment nervously.
- And what a coincidence that we are all here together at the same weekend. - She adds wryly, while the boys exchange a mischievous glance. - Can I talk to you privately, Y/N?
You nod slightly as she turns and walks away, and then you turn to Wanda.
- It was ... it's ... good. Good to see you. - You say awkwardly, Wanda smiles and nods slightly. - We... I don't know...
- Go change your clothes and talk to your fiancée. - She pokes you lightly. But her gaze is not malicious. - We'll talk later.
By the time you reached Tabitha, she was already entering the elevators. You think you should be worried, but you just feel uncomfortable. You want to go back to the pool and talk to Wanda. Tabitha doesn't say anything until you are in your suite. Then she yells at you. You think she said something about trust, but you're not really listening. And then Tabitha slams the door on her way out, and you have a smile on your face, thinking of Wanda.
Tommy and Billy insist that the four of you have dinner together. And honestly, you make no effort to find excuses not to go.
And then you find yourself standing in front of the hotel, completely breathless at the image of your ex-wife wearing a red dress that embraces her in all the right places.
You feel embarrassed, not knowing exactly what to say or do, but Wanda lets you hold her arm as you walk together toward the harbor, the boys ahead of you.
And then you approach a big ship, and you feel your heart soar.
- Is that ?
- Yes. - Wanda confirms with a smile, looking as surprised as you are.
Parked in the harbor is the same ship you met twelve years ago. As you walk up the stairs, Wanda asks how the boys managed to get all this, and they just say they pooled their allowance with a little help from Uncle Pietro and Aunt Nat, which makes you and Wanda laugh.
When you arrive at one of the private dining rooms inside the ship, the boys guide you both inside, and you frown as you look at the dining table.
- Darlings, why are there only two chairs? - you ask, looking at your sons. They exchange mischievous glances.
- We're not having dinner with you. - says Billy.
- What? - Wanda asks
- I should have known better. - You make a humorous remark.
- Come on, Mom. Don't be angry. - asks Tommy without looking the least bit sorry for his little plot. - We think you two have a lot to talk about.
You let out a sigh, agreeing. The boys leave a short time later, and you and Wanda sit down at a small table. It is an intimate and romantic dinner, and brings up feelings you have held for a long time.
- Are you okay with this, Wands? - you ask as soon as you are settled at the table. - With dinner I say. With me.
Wanda giggles.
- I'm the one who should be asking you that. - She says. - You're the one getting married.
The teasing makes something in your stomach turn nervously, and you give her an embarrassed smile and look away from her to the table. And then Pietro and Nat enter the room, dressed as waiters, and you both let out surprised exclamations.
- I won't even ask. - You joke, but the two of you just smile politely.
- Good evening, madames. - says Pietro. You notice how much older he looks since you last saw him. - We'll be serving dinner for you tonight.
- And these are the hors d'oeuvres. - Nat says as she places a few items on the table. You look at the dishes with curiosity, and are happy to see that they all look delicious.
They leave next, and you and Wanda exchange a look of amusement. You both sample a few things, and then you find yourself looking at Wanda again. She smiles when she notices.
- You want to ask me something. - she says with a smile. - Just ask.
- It's not a question, I think. - You say after a moment, trying to clarify your thoughts. Being with Wanda makes everything seem like background. - I was just wondering, how did this happen?
Wanda takes a sip of wine, raising her eyebrows slightly.
- What exactly happened? - she replies. - The ship? The children? The dinner?
You giggle, slumping back in your chair.
- Us, Wanda. - You say. - What happened to us?
Wanda looks away from you, looking slightly upset.
- I don't know Y/N. - She answers. - We were so young, immature and so, so temperamental. We both said stupid things. - She says with a slight nostalgia. - And then I left, and you didn't come after me.
She finishes her sentence with a quick sad smile, and you feel your stomach drop.
- I didn't think you would want this.
Wanda shrugged, a glint in her eyes that you couldn't read.
- It really doesn't matter anymore.
And then Pietro and Nat are back with the main courses, and you look away from Wanda quickly, an immense feeling of guilt and regret in your chest.
You have a lot to think about, but it has been so long, and now you had a fiancée, a life that went on without Wanda. You let out a sigh, raising your hand to the glass of wine, and turning it over in your mouth with a single gulp.
You ate in silence for a while, the food was tasty, but you thought you two had become quiet because of the conversation. But then Wanda looked at you again.
- What will happen now that they know? - Wanda asked, and you frowned slightly.
- Why would that be a problem?
- We live in different countries. - She clarified. - What are we going to do, half of the year I stay with Billy, and the other half with Tommy?
You laughed awkwardly, running your hands through your hair.
- Wow, this is a terrible idea. - You declare and Wanda raises her eyebrow slightly. - The kids will never accept this. We'll just have to find a way to make it work.
You're starting to get a migraine thinking about everything.
- Maybe... things could stay the same. - she says. - And then they visit each other on vacation.
You nod in agreement. You hold the smile on your face even as you feel a great wave of nervousness at the thought that it was settled: Wanda would return to London, she would be out of your life again.
You finish dinner in a polite and friendly way, not talking any more. You think you might cry, but you drink more wine to calm your body.
When you and Wanda say good-bye in the hotel lobby, you kiss her cheek, and see in her eyes the same sadness and longing that you have.
You are trying not to get angry with your children, even though they are stubborn brats. You have already checked out of the hotel, and were getting ready to leave, when Tommy and Billy came down from their rooms to say goodbye. And then they matched clothes, and refused to say who is who so that you could leave.
- This is absolutely ridiculous, boys. - You comment next to Wanda. - Your mother will miss her flight.
But your children just kept their arms crossed, and you let out an impatient grumble.
- Kids, what's this about now? - Wanda asked. - Even if I miss the flight, eventually Tommy will come with me.
The boys exchanged a thoughtful look.
- We want everyone together at the camp at the end of the summer vacation. - Said one of the boys, you thought it might be Billy, but you weren't sure.
- And when we get back, we'll tell you who's who. - Completed the brother, maybe this was Billy.
- I have an even better idea! - you exclaim. - You obey your mothers and Tommy goes back to London as we agreed.
And that's how you ended up in a car with Wanda, and your two sons, and your fiancée heading for home. Tabitha was not at all happy about the whole situation.

🥺 Writing ask abt eah with apple and darling "You're not a machine or- or some thing, you're a person, and I'm sorry anyone ever made you feel otherwise"
Apple was getting ready to go home for a party- a birthday party to be more specific. Her birthday party if you really wanted to go into detail.
It was May, the beginning of summer. Not that summer truly meant much in Ever After High- it was a year-round school after all, but it did mean a little bit of time would be allotted for students to spend some time at home and relax.
However, Apple was not relaxed- not in the slightest. It was only a little while ago Darling had broken her curse and they realized they were each other’s destined true loves. It had only been a few weeks since they started dating officially and now Apple was going to have to go home and see her mother for the first time outside of video calls since the Dragon Games. Not only that- Her mother was planning on hosting a giant birthday gala for her- and she let her invite her entire class as well as half of Ever After just for fun.
Sure, this meant she was able to continue to hang out with her friends and be herself for at least the night, which she’d enjoy, but it also meant things could easily slip- especially if someone thought they could get something out of outing her to her mother. Darling tried to assure her no one would be that cruel, but Apple feared otherwise. Goodness knows Ever After High has no shortage of mischievous students. Kitty, Duchess, and Faybelle to name a few.
And goodness knows her mother wasn’t exactly the understanding type either.
At least her friends would be there... and Darling. Darling usually made everything feel a lot better. Though... perhaps tonight that wouldn’t be best. She had to act like nothing happened- that she wasn’t gay. Oh god... this was going to be a long break.
“Got everything packed?” Raven asked, a trunk of clothes levitating in dark purple magic next to her. Apple sighed and rubbed her forehead.
“Yep,” She faked energy and enthusiasm. “All ready to go to my mom’s.” Raven cringed.
“I know it’s gonna suck, but hey, we’ll at least be here for the night. That’s something, right?” Raven placed a hand on her shoulder.
“It... is,” Apple said. “But you know how it is. She’s all ‘follow your destiny- be popular- be pretty or else’ and blah.”
“I kinda know the feeling, yeah...” Raven sighed. “But hey, technically you do have destiny on your side. True loves kiss and all that.”
“True,” Apple chuckled a little, going to the window and whistling for birds, who quickly went to her trunk of clothes and lifting it for her. “But...”
“I know, not that easy,” Raven admitted. “Not everyone is blessed with parents who were already destined to be evil so they really don’t care if your bi or not.”
Apple snorted. “Yeah.”
“You got this. And remember- if anything should happen, Briar, Darling, and I are totally willing to take you in for a spell,” Raven reassured. This did very little to comfort Apple, though she appreciated the effort.
“Thanks,” She decided to say, though the thought that she could possibly be kicked out of her own home scared her more than when Raven decided not to sign the Storybook of Legends- which was why she was determined to keep her secret, no matter what.
“Well- my dad’s waiting for me. I’ll see you at the party,” Raven said, checking her mirror phone.
“I’ll walk with you,” Apple said. Raven nodded, and together they made their way down the many, many flights of stairs. The girls didn’t say much, as Raven was busy texting, while Apple was doing her best to practice her happy face before they finally reached the bottom, where Darling and Maddie were waiting for them.
“Apple! Raven! There you two are,” Maddie beamed at them, and Raven chuckled.
“Hey Apple,” Darling smiled giving her girlfriend a peck on the cheek. Apple smiled.
“Hey,” She said, before scanning around.
“Relax, the limo is outside, we’ve one last moment to ourselves,” Darling said, holding her hands.
“We’re literally right here,” Raven rolled her eyes playfully.
“Oh hush,” Apple rolled her eyes.
Maddie gasped. “You kiss Darling with that mouth?” she giggled.
“Whatever. I’ll see you two at the party,” Apple snickered, and Raven and Maddie took their cue and headed out.
“You ready?” Darling asked, pulling Apple away from the stairs.
“Not in the slightest,” She admitted with a pathetic laugh.
“Hey, it’ll be okay. I’ll be right beside you the whole night if needed,” Darling said, tucking a loose strand of Apple’s hair behind her ear.
“That’s what I’m afraid of... I want to be with you so bad, but if she were to find out...” Apple didn’t need to finish the thought. She sighed.
“I know,” Darling sighed. “Just- know no matter what I’m on your side, and what we have is very, very real, and she can’t take it away from us, okay?” Darling asked, Apple nodded, leaning and the princesses shared a quick but passionate kiss.
“I know. I’ll see you tonight,” She said, giving her a hug, which Darling quickly returned.
“Should anything happen, just call for me and I’ll be there in a heartbeat,” She promised.
“My knight in shining armor,” Apple smiled at her.
“You know it,” Darling winked and teased. Apple gave her another quick hug before forcing herself to let go and go to her ride.
Not to Apple’s surprise in the slightest, her mother wasn’t there to pick her up, just the usual dwarf or two. The birds dropped off her luggage in the trunk of the limo and Apple took her seat. Once they started going, she immediately slumped and tried not to think as her mirror phone blew up with texts from Briar and her other friends in support and details about how great this party was going to be.
Eventually, after what felt like an eternity of being driven, she finally arrived at her castle, and walked right inside, the dwarves taking care of her luggage for her.
Not to her surprise once again, her mother wasn’t there to greet her. Instead, there was a table with some flowers and a single slice of apple pie (long cold by now) waiting for her, with a note that read:
“So happy you’re here my little apple dumpling. So sorry I couldn’t be there to greet you, but I’m very busy planning tonight’s party.
Hugs and Kisses,
-Mummy”
Darling hated when her mother babied her, but she wasn’t ready to face her quite yet, so she took her mother’s absence as a mercy more than the blatant neglect it was. Apple took the pie, tossed it in the nearest garbage, before stopping by the kitchen, grabbing an apple, and heading off to her room to pass the hours away until the party.
No place like home alright.
Her phone was still blowing up from texts from Briar, but Apple figured she’d just wait until Briar passed out to try and answer them all- goodness knows that girl sends 50 texts that could easily have just been four, though she said it “preserved the tone that way”. She loved Briar, but she could be a lot at times.
Apple sighed as she entered her room and flopped onto her overly fluffy bed and pondered if her mom kept any poisoned apples around so she could just skip this whole mess and wake up whenever Darling would be able to get past her mother’s guards and they could just run away into the sunset. Or if she could jump out her window and Darling could be there to catch her...
A girl could dream.
Eventually, she just decided to scroll social media to pass the time, making sure to like any and posts wishing her a happy birthday, though deciding not to comment. Sure it was highly unusual, but she simply did not have the energy today.
She was probably on her mirror phone for hours, when there was a knock at her door. Apple took in a deep breath, putting on her happy face, before opening and finding out her mother was on the other side.
“Apple darling, how was the ride home?” She asked, not waiting for Apple to invite her in.
“It was great mom,” She said, closing the door behind her.
“Good, good,” Her mother nodded to herself, before turning and looking her up and down. “Are you wearing that to the party?”
“No, Lizzie Hearts actually designed me this dress I’ve been dying to wear-”
“Oh, that’s good. Can’t have you turning another year older in that old thing,” She said, gesturing to her dress. Apple only nodded.
“You excited for tonight? I’ve spent all week planning for you,” Snow grinned, going to her tablet and tapping a few things.
“Yep! Totally hexcited,” Apple gave a thumbs up.
“You going to start on your hair soon?” Snow asked, not looking up.
“Yep yep,” It was getting harder for her to be enthusiastic.
“Good,” Snow nodded, turning off the device and looking back to Apple, thinking a moment before smiling.
“You’re growing up so fast my little apple, darling,” She said. “Time really flies when you’re away at that school.”
“I guess, yeah. Though- it’s almost hard to tell with all those tests,” Apple joked. Snow laughed.
“Professor Rumplestilskin keeps you busy?” The queen said.
“He’s just like you described,” Apple confirmed. Snow chuckled.
“Older I bet, though. Goodness knows that old miser has probably only gotten worse with age, unlike some people,” She grinned. Apple nodded once more, not really knowing how to respond.
Snow White paused. “Something on your mind, my little dumpling?”
“Nope! I’m absolutely perfect,” Apple internally panicked, quickly putting on a cheesy smile.
“Good, but do know if anything’s wrong, don’t be afraid to tell me, alright? One of the dwarves can handle it,” Snow patted her head.
“I know, mom,” Apple really hated it when she babied her.
“Right,” The queen nodded to herself. “Well then- I’ll let you get ready now. I really do hope you’ll like this party- All of Ever After is coming in your honor,” She said, beginning to exit.
“Yipee,” Apple said halfheartedly.
“Hate to go, but a few things need to be finalized. Hugs and kisses darling, see you later” Her mother blew a kiss as she headed out.
Once her mother was out of earshot, Apple flopped onto her bed, grabbed a pillow, smushed it against her face, and groaned.
This was going to be a long, long night.
.o0o.
Despite everything, Darling was glad to be home. Sure, her parents didn’t exactly know about the fact she was the white knight and she had to constantly make sure Daring didn’t accidentally spill the beans, but other than that her family was fun to be around- which was more than she could say for other families in Ever After. After all, her parents knew she was gay practically from the moment she was born- as a girl “prince charming” practically set it up from the beginning.
What they didn’t know was that she was dating Apple, meaning that Daring had failed and wasn’t Apple’s destined Prince Charming, but that she was instead. That was a secret she didn’t have to worry about Daring sharing because despite him realizing his destiny was likely with Rosabella, he was still deeply embarrassed by the whole thing.
Still, it was an unspoken agreement between the Charming siblings not to speak a word of what happened at the dragon games- not until Apple was ready to tell her mother anyway.
But despite all this, she was still happy to be home, as it meant she could return to her familiar backyard and practice sword fighting with her brothers in their favorite hang-out spot, where their father used to make them practice “saving damsels in distress”. It was a nice little spot that the siblings spent years building and crafting to perfection, with chairs, hammocks, some of Dexter’s favorite books, swords and dummies for practice, and a few mirrors to suit Daring’s vanity, as well as an elaborate bell system that reached back to the castle in case their parents needed them but didn’t want to go searching.
However, the one downside of the nook was that there was terrible cell reception.
“Darling, you have got to relax and stop stressing about Apple, the party isn’t for several hours, take a mirror and nap on the hammock. I know it works like a charm for me,” said Daring, admiring himself as he advised his baby sister. Darling rolled her eyes.
“Honestly, I’m surprised you aren’t panicking as much as I am. I swear you and Rosabella have been texting constantly ever since the whole ‘winter in summer’ fiasco,” Darling pointed out, deciding to somewhat take his advice and sit in the hammock.
“I took his phone while we were in the car, it was driving me insane,” Dexter patted his pocket. Darling snorted.
“Don’t encourage him, it was rude,” Daring shot his brother a glare.
“Alright, calm down you two,” Darling rolled her eyes. “though- if you want we can settle this the old-fashioned way.”
“Uh-uh. No sword fighting- not today anyway. Mom said we have to stay ‘clean and pristine’ for the party tonight,” Dexter said.
“Lame,” Darling groaned, refreshing her mirror phone once more, but not getting any better results than the fifty times she tried before.
“Darling, you seriously need to relax. Apple’s dealt with her mother her whole life, she’ll be okay for a few days,” Dexter said.
“Easy for you to say,” Darling rolled her eyes, trying again but still getting nothing.
“Yeah bro, don’t underestimate this whole thing. You know how the Queen can be,” Daring pointed out.
“Okay, you got me,” Dexter huffed, putting a bookmark in and closing his book. “I’m just trying to get you to relax.”
“You know what’d relax me? A good sword fight,” Darling’s eyes shone mischievously.
“I’m not gonna fight you- I always lose and always end up bleeding somehow,” Dexter shook his head. “Plus- mom said no fighting.”
“Daring?” She turned to her eldest brother.
“No can do Darling. Gotta stay handsome for the party, keeps away the suspicion,” He pulled out his mirror once more, checking out his own reflection again.
“You guys are so lame,” Darling groaned.
“What time even is the party, anyway?” Dexter asked.
“I think the palace doors open at 5, but that’s if you’re insanely early and-”
“-And everyone knows it’s best to be fashionably late as opposed to early,” Daring interrupted her.
“I’m gonna go get ready,” Darling decided, swiftly getting off the hammock.
“Isn’t it a little early to be getting ready? It’s only 3,” Dexter pointed out.
“Mom’s probably going to make me scrub the dirt from my nails like- 50 times before the party so we’ll see how long this takes,” She sighed. “The plights of being a girl.”
“You say that like Daring isn’t right there,” Dexter snarked.
“He makes a good point, Darling. I should be getting ready too,” He said, putting away his mirror.
“Dex, you coming then?” Darling asked. Dexter sighed, putting his book away.
“I guess so,” He said, and the Charming Siblings left their nook to head back into the castle.
After that it was hours of priming and preening, Darling barely had the time to check her phone as the handmaids chatted her ears off about gossip she couldn’t have cared less about, which was made worse when her mother came in and started talking about gossip amongst the royals about who was dating who and fashion trends or whatever. Darling was hardly paying attention, having never cared about these types of things.
It wasn’t like she disliked getting dressed up and doing her hair and painting her nails and such, it was just- when the maids and her mother did it, they hardly ever asked her what she wanted and Darling could never really get a word in on such matters. Hell- the most her mother had probably ever listened to her was when she came out, and when she begged her to let her go to Ever After High and stop being homeschooled. Other than that, she was pretty sure nothing got through, as her mom had a clear preference for Dex, and her dad had a preference for Daring.
Whatever, she had her own way to cope. If she could just get her phone...
“Aaaand, done. Oh now don’t you just look gorgeous,” One of the maids said, placing the final touch on her dress. Darling snapped back in the moment, taking a second to admire the dress they put her in, nodding briefly in approval, quickly walking over to check her phone.
No texts from Apple.
She was probably just getting ready too, Darling had nothing to worry about.
“So...? What do you think?” Her mother asked.
“It’s a lovely dress, thanks mom,” Darling said, not really looking at her, sending Apple a quick text.
“You teens and your mirror phones,” Mrs. Charming rolled her eyes. “I’m going to go looking for your brothers. Don’t mess up that hair.”
“Got it,” Darling still didn’t look up. Her mother sighed before leaving. Darling then thanked the handmaids for their service, then went down to the foyer to wait for everyone.
Apple still hadn’t replied to any of her messages. Darling shouldn’t have been surprised- it was her party and knowing the queen, she was probably keeping her busy or having her change a million times. She should just... attempt to relax. They’d be at the party soon enough, and Darling could give Apple her gift and keep her safe and happy and loved.
The gift Darling had gotten her was separate from the “family present” her parents had made for Apple. It was a necklace and a pretty simple one at that. It was gold, and had the engraving of an apple on the front, but on the back, there was a little rainbow. Darling hoped it was subtle enough and that no one would ask any questions, but she really wanted it to be special to her.
Darling had fallen for many girls throughout the years, but it was easy to say she cared about Apple the most.
Eventually, the rest of her family came down the stairs and it was time to go.
“You ready?” Dexter asked. Darling shook her head.
“I’m a Charming, I shouldn’t be this nervous,” She hugged her arms.
“It’ll be okay. You’re a lot tougher than you think- Apple too,” Dexter reassured. That did help a little.
“Thanks, Dex,” She said.
“No problem. Let’s just go and try to have a good time,” Dexter said, clearly trying to hype himself up too.
“That can’t be too hard, right?” Darling joked a little, stepping into the carriage.
“I hope not,” Dexter said, following suit, and the Charming Family was off.
.o0o.
Apparently, it could be that hard.
Once they arrived, Darling was greeted at the door by some gruff-looking dwarves who grabbed the family’s present out of Dexter’s hands (Darling kept her gift in her purse) and they were formally announced to the party room before being asked to quickly move aside for other guests. Say what you would about Snow White, but she sure knew how to get things done quickly and efficiently. Darling then went to go and try and greet Apple, but more dwarves said she couldn’t greet the princess until later. She briefly made eye contact with her girlfriend, who sent her a silent distress call she wished she could answer, but alas, she had to wait and try to party with everyone else.
Of course, it was nice to mingle with her fellow classmates, but they literally just got off of campus just a few hours ago, so outside of complementing everyone’s outfits, dancing a bit, and taking a few photos, there wasn’t much they could do. Piper and Briar did their best to keep things lively, but something about Apple being forced to sit on a throne the whole time away from everyone else really sucked the energy out of the kids, who wanted nothing more than to mingle with her.
However, after an hour or so, Snow White allowed for the festivities to “officially begin” and Apple was allowed down, though she was quickly overwhelmed by hugs from her friends, which made Darling chuckle as she waited patiently for her turn.
“You looked like you were going to die of misery if you had to sit there a moment longer,” Darling said as she hugged her.
“You have no idea. My mother says adding cushions to a throne looks unprofessional so that’s just solid metal baby,” Apple joked tiredly.
“You’re doing great, Apple. You got this,” Darling whispered. Apple hugged her tighter.
“I know she means well, but sometimes I seriously want to strangle her,” Apple joked.
“I know the feeling,” Darling sympathized as she let go so no one would be suspicious. Apple then continued hugging and catching up with other guests, while Darling waited steadily for her to finish. Apple finished, and swiftly- though subtly- returned to her girlfriend’s side.
“So... wanna dance?” Apple offered.
“Oh you know I’m a dreadful dancer, that’s not fair,” Darling shook her head as Apple grabbed her hand and dragged her to the dance floor.
“The way I remember you totally beat Chase in that dance-off,” Apple pointed out.
“Everyone knows Chase is just about the worst dancer ever after, and we won only because he slipped and fell off the board,” Darling rolled her eyes, but it was too late, as Apple had already gotten her near the center and began to dance.
“C’mon, it’s fun,” Apple said, her eyes shining under the party lights. Darling sighed in defeat and awkwardly began to dance with her. Apple chuckled a little bit, but reassured her that she was doing great, and soon enough, she loosened up enough to the point that she was actually having a good time. Though of course, this became easier when she saw Apple was having a good time. Perhaps she had been worrying for nothing. Perhaps everything was going to be alright- they’d find ways to reach each other and take care and know they were loved and everything was okay and was going to be okay.
After an hour or so, once again, the dancing was called to a brief pause, as Apple was dragged off to open her presents while the rest of the party continued, though Snow White did allow Briar, Raven, and Darling to join her. She went to her seat and began unwrapping box after box of presents, each more elaborate and fancy than the last, and Snow White hovered nearby making comments about them, thanking the families who gave them. Books, jewelry, dresses, tea sets, and all sorts of things were unwrapped one by one, only to be quickly taken away by dwarves, and Darling felt a twinge of guilt for getting her something so minimalistic and small.
However, after the last one was taken away, Darling took the small box out of her purse and handed it to Apple.
“A... personal gift? That’s highly unusual,” Snow White commented, and Darling internally panicked.
“I think it’s a sweet signifier of a good friendship,” Briar commented nonchalantly, though a bit on the nose. Apple smiled at Darling sweetly before opening it and gasping.
“Darling, it’s beautiful,” She said, admiring the engraving.
“Rather small isn’t it?” Snow raised an eyebrow.
“I paid for it myself,” Darling said, trying her best not to give the queen a dirty look. Apple then flipping it over and touched the engraving of the rainbow with her fingers slowly.
“Oh Darling, it’s absolutely beautiful,” She said softly.
“A... rainbow?” Snow raised an eyebrow, and Apple quickly turned it over.
“What’s suspicious about a rainbow? Rainbows are pretty,” Raven tried to defend it, and Darling realized she probably just made the biggest mistake of her life.
“Rainbows can mean a great number of things,” The queen said, looking at Darling.
“Rainbows are also just... pretty,” Raven continued to try, but she wasn’t as good as Briar.
Snow White thought to herself a moment, before ordering for the festivities to continue and for the cakes to be brought out and to begin serving it to the guests. However, after saying that, she turned back to Apple.
“Apple, darling? A word,” She ordered, walking out of the ballroom.
“Oh god- Apple, I’m so, so, so sorry-”
“No, Darling. Don’t be,” Apple stood. “I... I think I can handle this.”
Raven and Briar exchanged a look.
“Are you sure, Apple?” Raven asked.
“I... I think so. Briar, keep the guests entertained. I don’t want anyone to stop partying for my sake, okay?” She asked.
“If that’s what you want,” She nodded, before hugging her. “Just be safe.”
“I will,” Apple hugged her quickly.
“What about us?” Raven asked.
“If your mother so much as raises a finger-” Darling started, but Apple stopped her.
“I... I think I can handle this. She’s my mother, right? I’ve dealt with her before. I-i have facts and destiny on my side,” Apple said, trying to hide her nervousness.
“Okay... if you want to handle this alone, we’ll let you. But- if you need help, but say the word, alright? Raven and I can be there in a flash,” Darling said. Apple smiled a little, before frowning.
“I have to go... I’m sorry- she’ll get mad,” Apple turned away.
“Good luck,” Raven said.
Good luck. Right.
Apple took a deep breath before exiting out into the hallway.
.o0o.
She wouldn’t admit it, but her heart was pounding in her chest. She was terrified to confront her mother, but she had years of pretending everything was fine under her belt in preparation for this very moment. She entered the hallway to find her mother pacing ever so anxiously in her long and elegant white dress with her usual red cape. However, once Apple entered the scene, her mother’s pacing stopped.
“Why did that girl give you a present?” Her mother asked.
“Because I’m important to her and she wanted a way to show that to me,” Apple replied matter-of-factly.
“Important to her how?” Snow raised an eyebrow. Apple got a bad feeling in her stomach. She didn’t want to say- she didn’t have to-
But well...
“Important to her how, Apple?” The queen demanded.
“W-well... you know how I got poisoned at the Dragon Games?” Apple said.
“By the Raven girl, I presume?” Snow raised an eyebrow.
“Mostly her mom, but kinda- that’s not important. What’s important is that it was the apple- like from our story,” She explained. “You know- the ‘true love’s kiss will break the spell’ apple?”
“Apple, I know my own story,” She gave her a look. Apple tried her best not to crack under it.
“Well, I was poisoned and in a coma, and Daring tried to kiss me and- well... it didn’t... work,” Apple said.
“What? What do you mean Daring didn’t work? He’s supposed to be your destined prince, how can this be?” Snow demanded.
“I-i don’t know- well... I do kinda know...” Apple whispered.
“I demand an explanation,” Snow ordered.
“Well- after Daring’s kiss failed everyone was kinda just gonna give up, but Darling was there, and she had this crazy idea, a-and... wellllll...” Apple didn’t finish.
Snow White paused.
“You mean to tell me that... princess broke your little curse?” She asked, seething with hatred.
“Y-yes,” Apple nodded.
The queen paused again.
“And what happened after?” She said coldly.
“W-well for awhile nobody would tell me what happened out of fear of how I’d react, until Darling eventually told be during the whole ‘snow in summer’ fiasco and well- then we... started... dating..?” Apple said that last part quieter than the rest.
“This is absolutely ridiculous- do you seriously expect me to believe all this?” Snow crossed her arms. Apple blinked.
“Mom- it’s the truth,” She stated. Her mother laughed.
“That’s impossible. The Storybook of Legends would never say such a thing,” She said. “The girl must’ve simply done CPR, gotten the piece dislodged from your throat or something.”
“Mom, that’s not what happened- you know how the curse works, ‘true loves kiss’. Darling Charming is my true love,” Apple argued, getting angry now.
“Don’t you dare address your queen with that tone,” Snow snapped. “The amount of disrespect you’ve had today is outrageous. First the complaining, then the lack of focus, then the lies? I am your mother, but I am also your queen, and I expect the utmost respect, is that understood?”
“Mom, for the last time, I’m not lying! I’m in love and am dating Darling Charming. She broke the curse and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my entire life,” Apple asserted, tears now threatening to spill.
“What absolute ludicrous. I will not take such blasphemy. Such a relationship is impossible. Go to your room until you’re ready to tell me the truth,” She commanded.
“N-... No.” Apple put her foot down.
The queen paused.
“No...?” She asked, her eye twitching.
“No. I’ve already told you the truth, so I’m not going anywhere,” Apple glared at her.
“No daughter of mine would speak to me with such blatant disrespect,” Snow White was aghast.
“Mom, whether or not you like it, me and Darling are destined for each other, and there is nothing you can do to change that. Even Principal Grimm agrees with me- Principal Grimm!” Apple exclaimed.
“Do not raise your voice at me, young lady.” The queen threatened.
“Then listen, for goodness sake,” Apple threw her hands in the air. “I’ve told you nothing but the truth, and you refuse to believe me! Why? For some- stupid outdated idea?”
“I’ve had enough of this attitude- go to your room. Now.” Snow ordered again.
Apple didn’t move.
“I won’t ask again, Apple. Go. To. Your. Room,” She stepped forward, causing Apple to take a step back.
“G-go ask Principal Grimm if you don’t believe me,” Apple said, trying her best not to crack. Snow slowly walked towards her daughter, until Apple was backed against a wall. The queen grabbed her face.
“There are hundreds of street orphans far more worthy of your destiny than you are. Do not forget this.” She quickly let go, before walking away, while Apple stood there, dumbstruck.
Eventually, her knees gave in, and she collapsed into sobs, and Darling burst through the door, and Darling immediately wrapped her in a tight embrace.
“It’s okay Apple, it’s alright, I’m right here,” Darling did her best to soothe.
“She doesn’t believe me- sh-she said- sh-she s-sa-said-”
“It’s okay, Apple. I know... she’s wrong. She doesn’t believe you,” Darling tried with all of her might to squeeze the sadness out of her, but nothing was working.
“Sh-she said hundreds of o-orphans are f-far more worthy,” Apple hiccupped, and Darling’s heart broke.
“Apple, she had no right to say that. You aren’t some... machine, you’re a human person. She had no right to ever treat you or make you feel that way,” Darling soothed, but Apple continued to cry, which she couldn’t blame her for.
This sucked.
“I love you Apple, you know that, right?” She asked. Apple nodded her head.
Good. At least she knew that...
“If you need somewhere to stay, I’m sure my parents or Briar’s or even Raven’s wouldn’t mind, okay?” Darling said. Apple nodded again. Darling kissed the top of her head.
This really, really sucked.
“It’s gonna be okay, Apple...” She practically whispered.
“Y-you promise?” Apple looked up at her weakly. Darling wiped some of the tears from her eyes.
“I promise... maybe not today, or even tomorrow, but I promise, someday it’s gonna be okay, alright?” She asked softly. Apple nodded slowly.
“Okay...” Apple rested her head on Darling’s shoulder.
“Do you wanna go anywhere?” Darling asked. Apple shook her head.
“I wanna stay here... with you,” She said hoarsely. Darling nodded her head.
“I can do that,” She said, stroking her face softly, wiping more tears away.
And she meant it. She’d stay right there until Apple felt better, no matter how long it took. Apple knew it, Darling knew it. And despite everything, that did make Apple feel a little bit better.
She was loved. Perhaps not by her mother, but if she didn’t love her, that was her mistake.
Her mother was wrong.
What she and Darling had was love, and nothing could change that.

The bet || Harry Potter
Pairing: Fred Weasley and George Weasley x Platonic/Reader (Tiny not so tiny George Weasley x Reader)
Summary: You had a normal life at Hogwarts, until the Weasley twins decided they weren't going to leave you alone anymore, and what was the reason? You would give five galleons to anyone who knew the answer.
Word Count: 4,0k
It was still early, I was walking through the corridors towards the Great Hall when two red-haired figures appeared in my sight.
"Hey Y/N!", one of them waved cheerfully at me, I still had no idea which one. "Why do you suddenly look tall today?", the other said with a smile, which made me want to punch him.
"Why are you suddenly more annoying today? It sounds like a serious illness, so excuse me, I don't want to catch this", I walked as fast as I could so they couldn't keep up with me.
I could hear their laughter behind me and the whispering but decided not to pay attention to what was said, that would bring me more calmness.
And why do I basically run away from them? It is very simple.
One day I was just another Ravenclaw student, and the next day I had the attention of the most popular twins at Hogwarts.
They liked to tease me about absolutely everything, no matter if I was just sitting down reading or trying to concentrate in a class, one of them would find a way to annoy me.
I never tried to differentiate which was Fred and which was George, it made no difference, they both seemed equally annoying to me and knowing who is who was not going to guarantee me anything.
"Hey, wait. We have a deal for you", the tallest of them spoke with a grin plastered on his face as he walked up to me in stride.
"And why should I agree? Anything coming from you guys is pretty suspicious", I replied with my eyes screwed tight and crossed my arms.
"Because you can have your quiet time again, we won't tease you anymore as far as possible", the other said with a small smile and I stopped to think for a few seconds.
"Well, that sounds good enough, and what do I have to do? You're going to have to get something out of this, obviously", I still remained in the same position analyzing the two, who seemed to be enjoying themselves more every second.
"You'll have to guess who is who at the end of the day", one of them started and my face dropped at the same moment."Since we're nice, we'll just say it once", the other added.
"What if I don't succeed then? If there's a prank, I'm out."
"There won't be anything out of the ordinary, just an extra dose of us", I took a deep breath just imagining what my life would be like with these two following me around the castle. "So are you going to accept or not?", he raised an eyebrow.
I took a deep breath and looked away, a good opportunity had fallen into my hands but I would have the rest of my peace lost if I didn't win, which would be no small thing but a part of me was just screaming to accept it at once, the competitive part, the part that was going to win this little challenge.
"I accept, it won't be that hard", I replied with a smile, a wave of confidence built up inside me and I really thought it wouldn't be a problem at all.
"Okay then", they just walked past me and kept walking and if I could see my forehead, a big question mark would be hanging there, "Hey? You still have to tell me which is which, it was part of the deal", I said, taking a few steps behind them but they soon stopped and looked at me.
"Oh, you're so confident, do you really need us to tell you who's who?", I clenched my hands tightly to hold back the urge to kill him.
"Of course I don't need to but... HEY!It's not polite to leave a person talking alone", they had the audacity to walk off and wave at me on top of that.
7:30 a.m.
I wasn't going to get any help from them, why did I expect to get any? Obviously they don't want me to win but I will and they will have to swallow that. That's my new goal today, screw the herbology paper.
But now it would be more difficult, few people would know the difference, I would have to ask one of his friends or one of the other Weasleys who studied at Hogwarts.
I wasn't intimate with any of them but I had classes with some, we never spoke but I will change that today.
I just hope they actually tell me something useful, one of the twins could have easily told no one to help me and made everything even more difficult.
8:25 a.m
"Hey Kate, what's up?", I said with a smile just as she was about to pass me down the hall, it was really worth it to eat fast or I wouldn't have made it in time.
The expression on her face already told me everything, the same gleam in her eye that twins have when they are disturbing me, why do I get the impression that it won't be so easy?
"Good morning Y/N, do you need anything?", she said leaning against the wall with a mischievous smile that I chose to ignore. "Actually yes, you should already know, the Weasleys challenged me to set them apart and you as a friend should know how, anything is useful, anything really", I liked that she was direct because I could be too. I don't like wasting time with small talk, especially when I don’t have too much time.
"They actually told me it would happen, but they didn't tell me more details, what happens if you lose? Some kind of prank I bet.
"They will annoy me twice as much as they already do, I don't know how you manage to be friends with them, she stared at me for a few seconds and then grinned. "What?"
"I'll help you since you're asking me but maybe you'll soon see that it wouldn't be so bad to lose", I just nodded without really believing it would happen. "Fred is louder and generally more annoying, George is quieter and more careful. You can find out more by noticing for yourself, I'm going to get going, I want to practice a little before class begins", she pointed to the castle entrance.
"Thank you so much Kate, I'll owe you this one. See you later", I smiled and waved as she walked away from me after waving as well.
Now I know the basics but they might try to trick me, switch places or pretend to be the other one. I have to be prepared and there is only one way.
9:00 a.m
The bell rang and the halls filled with heads hurrying not to be late, especially the poor first year students heading for the dungeon. I could see some shaking on the way out of the Great Hall but my destination was completely different, I headed up the stairs along with the other forty years to Minerva's class.
There was no sign of any of the twins, if they had decided to skip this class my plan was destined to fail.
The class was about to start when the two of them entered without any hurry and I smiled internally for having kept an empty chair next to me, just in case.
"Are you gentlemen having a problem with your audition? The bell rang five minutes ago. This kind of behavior is not tolerated, Mr. Weasleys. Minus ten points for Gryffindor", her angry voice boomed, and no one seated dared to breathe.
"It won't happen again, professor", I was surprised not to hear any funny remarks as a comment and I'm sure she was too but didn't show it.
"Sit down and open your books, let's move one more step forward from yesterday's lesson...", she continued talking but I barely paid attention after one of them sat down next to me.
"So, you're George, you can tell me now that I already know", he looked a little surprised for a few seconds but soon regained his posture.
"How did you guess it? I didn't even say anything", he said looking at me intently and I just shrugged, I wasn't about to say since this is clearly a plus for me.
"That's a secret that will stay with me, it wasn't that hard", I commented, dipping my quill into the ink to start writing what Minerva was going over on the blackboard.
Behind us it was possible to hear Fred's excited whispers that I had learned to ignore after all these years. Now it seemed so much easier, it's not as if I hadn't noticed them both all this time, it's a bit impossible since they make themselves present everywhere.
We remained silent, since this is the only way I can concentrate. I even mentally thanked him for that, but it didn't seem to do any good today. My attention kept being drawn to the red-headed boy next to me, I couldn't help it.
Internally I blamed it on my will to win, because to do so I would have to pay more attention to him, that's all my body wanted to do, focus on George Weasley.
I only realized that I was crossing the line when I noticed that his cheeks started to take on a reddish tint and a shy little smile appeared. To make matters worse, there was Fred's giggles, who was watching everything with the best view; there was no way I could get away with this.
After this awkward moment, I forced myself to pay attention even though my desire was to get out of there, since he now decided to start watching me not as discreetly as he thought he was being. I was much better at that.
"Is there a problem?", I mustered up the courage to ask when it was already 15 minutes before the bell rang again.
I noticed him bite his lips and crack a small smile before looking forward again, "why would there be a problem?"
"You were looking at me", I answered quietly so as not to draw attention from the other students and especially from Minerva who was passing between the desks checking to see if everyone was practicing the spells correctly.
"You were looking at me before that, discretion is not your specialty, you know?", I was a few seconds without knowing how to answer that and in the meantime, I could see him savoring the fact that he had left me speechless.
"Yes, I was watching you to differentiate you better from your brother, and why were you looking at me?", I spoke in a direct tone looking him straight in the eyes and the other redhead's laughter sounded behind us and George gave him a nonchalant look, as did the woman, who had just passed us.
"Is something wrong Mr. Weasley?", she asked and of course, everyone around us had to pay attention too, because they had nothing else interesting to do.
"No, I just remembered a joke I heard, I could tell you if you want. I assure you it is very funny", he assured holding back the urge to laugh even harder.
"Your little jokes stay outside the room Mr. Weasley, and you all, if you haven't perfected today's transfiguration can get back to work", she caught everyone's attention and continued walking peacefully.
We ended up getting distracted from the main subject, he obviously took the chance of not answering me and just kept on training as I did.
12:00 a.m
We had the next 3 classes together and I stayed close to them and their friends as well. As I imagined everyone was very nice to me, we could have become friends much sooner if we weren't stuck in a fixed group of friends.
Some things had become much clearer in my head and others even more blurred. They didn't seem to be picking on anyone but me, although it hadn't happened all day. Then why? I was going to find out.
"Will you come sit with us today?", Katie said with an arm around Angelina's shoulders, both looking at me with a smile that wouldn't let me deny them anything.
"Sure, I'd love to. It's kind of funny that we have more things in common than I expected", I remarked as we walked slowly, with the hasty crowd in front of us. I would usually be with them but it's much better this way, time is not as important as catching up with everyone.
"I had no idea you liked quidditch, have you thought about joining the Ravenclaw team?", Angel, as she asked to be called, inquired and at that moment, I should but I didn't notice her gaze leave me and go to the twins, several times.
"I'm not as good at playing as I am at watching, so I prefer to stay in the stands", I replied with a small smile until I noticed everyone in that small group communicating with their eyes, which I chose to ignore.
"So Angeli, since when did you start playing?", I started the subject that was going to last throughout the entire lunch hour and it couldn't be better.
Everyone had some story to tell, I must admit that Fred's and George's were the funniest. At no time was there any kind of awkward silence, or a moment when I was not included in the conversation. I did notice that some of my classmates were surprised that I sat there, but in general they were looking at us because of the noise. Their special talent was talking, which I found refreshing since I could hear more and talk occasionally.
The worst part of it was that I ended up not paying as much attention to either George or Fred as I had planned, although now I know a little more about both of them and my new friends.
3:00 p.m.
After two classes of Aritmancia, I had a free period and many homework assignments to do and as I walked to the library, a familiar voice called out to me.
"Y/N!", I turned around and was faced with George and his broom near the stairs, not so far from me, "We are going to practice a little, do you want to come too?", I was about to say no, as I was already busy but then I remembered, I still had to guess who was who at the end of the day.
I had really forgotten and started to enjoy their company, I had to remind myself that I wanted to win and that it made perfect sense to spend some more time with him, if it meant that I could guarantee it. Or at least, I tried to convince myself of that.
"Sure, who else will be training?", I asked as I walked over to him and then we walked together to the castle entrance and towards the field. "Just Angelina and Fred, the others have classes or something to do," and I just nodded in agreement.
We hadn't spent any time alone since Transfiguration class and I didn't know what to say, as did he but I didn't feel uncomfortable, just lost in my own thoughts.
"You came to watch half the best quadribol team play today. You won't regret it," Fred was the first to speak up as soon as we arrived and I could only laugh, how could one person be so confident? I needed some tips.
"My expectations are higher than you Weasley, you better not let me down after that speech," I wasn't trying to be funny but I heard a chuckle come from the redhead next to me. "You're not out of it George, none of you. But remember, no pressure. I'm only going to judge a little bit," I said smirking, not really taking any of the words I said seriously.
"Go sit down and prepare to be impressed," the black haired girl gave the last words, grabbed her own broom and flew to the three right hoops as I hurried to the stands.
Luckily, I didn't miss much and less than 5 minutes later, I could tell with certainty how good the three were. They took turns as goalkeepers for Angelina, even though it wasn't really their position in the game. And after 15 minutes, the dynamic changed for the two of them to try to hit her, one at a time, for them to practice as beaters.
But honestly, I paid much less attention than I normally do. I couldn't tell them apart from so far away, and this realization made me face the shameless excuse I had created for myself. I just wanted to be there, and the reason for that I wouldn't say out loud.
More than 30 minutes later, the three of them instead of landing on the ground, came flying towards me and stopped by my side.
"So you can talk about how impressed you are now", I pretended to think for a few seconds and the indignation on his face was so funny I almost didn't say it but after such an arduous training like that, they deserved it.
"You guys were amazing, if someone from another house could watch the official training sessions I would really come to see more", I smiled and it was extremely adorable to see George's already red face redden even more after my compliment.
"You already know you can't watch the official practices, we are finally starting to understand each other", Fred said and took a step to hug me and I immediately took one back. "You're soaking wet Fred Weasley, don't even think about it. This is not the time for hugs".
"But I think it's a good idea sweetie, you can't hide from a Weasley, so just accept it", he said with an evil grin on his face and I was ready to run, I hated sweat especially when it wasn't mine but his long legs came into action once again.
"That's the most disgusting thing I've ever experienced, so you have something to be proud of after all", I complained, pulling away seconds after he had cornered me in the hug, which wouldn't have been so bad if it had been any other time.
"If that's the grossest one, you really don't know what's waiting for you honey. This is just the beginning," Angel said with a satisfied smile on his face. "But we better go now, I need a shower and we still have one last class today," she added and flew out of there after waving to us.
"Yeah, I need to take a shower too, I'll see you guys later," Fred said before getting out of there as quickly as possible, leaving me alone with George again.
"Well, do you want a ride? It's much quicker to get down that way," he smiled slightly at me and I agreed without a second thought.
I held his bare arm, because I thought it was better than hugging him and regret appeared immediately because I always had some issues with flying. It wasn't the worst thing in the world but it was far from being one of my favorites.
All I could do was close my eyes as we crossed the field, my hands automatically closed around his arm, the weather was windy and I could feel the shivers that went through his now red skin as well as mine.
It was a few seconds if I'm really honest but it didn't feel like it to me, I've never picked up a broom other than for classes and it's been a long time since I stopped having fun in those classes.
I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt my feet on the ground again.
"I'll see you later then, I haven't forgotten about the bet. You better be prepared," he gave me a beautiful smile and the consequences of that is the only thing I wasn't prepared for.
5:00 p.m.
There are those moments when you have to stop and ask yourself, what the hell is happening to me? For countless reasons obviously, and it was my turn. I didn't come up with any answers that made me blind to reality, which was really frustrating because that way it would be easier for me to just ignore.
But nobody told me it was going to be easy, which is a shame because I would have someone to blame.
All this played out in my head before I received an owl from them, telling me that I could go to the Gryffindor common room to finish our bet, along with the password for the day. I was prepared after being warned by basically all their friends, all I could think of on the way there were some spells, mainly revenge because I wouldn't let it go if there really was a prank.
But what happened was quite different, the place was quieter than I imagined, although they had many people sitting and talking normally including Fred and George.
"Oh hello stranger, you have finally decided to give us the honor of your presence, I can say for everyone, we are all grateful," I had barely stepped into the room when Fred spoke up with the most sarcastic smile I have ever seen, should I be confused?
"If I get all this reception every time I come here, I will definitely come back more often. Thank you, I feel very welcome," I said with an equally big smile, causing him to roll his eyes.
"Okay smartass, it's time for your answer," he continued speaking, the same voice but now that I was close, in front of them, I noticed that there was something very wrong there.
"Why are you talking like that George?", was my only thought, they were imitating each other, the voice was extremely similar, I could never tell the difference just by that, but looking at him, it is impossible to be mistaken.
Their expression dropped on the spot and I realized that there were more people watching me and maybe they knew the plan, because everyone was a little shocked too, was it that simple?
"That's impossible, who was the snitch that told you? Whoever it was, you're going to have a tough future," Fred even stood up and didn't bother to do another voice, he spoke and I was sure I won.
"Nobody told me, I didn't need much to realize that you guys were faking it. He spent the whole conversation scratching his arm, it's been like that all day," I pointed to George who had not taken his eyes off my person so far.
At that moment they looked at each other for a few seconds and then back at me. I should be happy but I wasn't. Even if I wasn't going to admit it out loud, they just proved to me how amazing they are and I wasn't going to lose that.
"Now that I've won, I want to change my reward. It's very simple, I want to reverse the reward and the punishment. I want an extra dose of Weasleys," I had to get a certain amount of shyness out of the way to say this but it was worth it.
It was worth it because I could see a sparkle in both of their eyes that went beyond a successful prank, it was worth it because I had the best years at Hogwarts with the best friends I could ever want. It was worth it because I found the best boyfriend in the world that day. I never thought I would be so grateful for a silly bet.

Part 13
Part 15
(^^^ This is you. ^^^^ 😉)
---
You blushed and smiled while Rafael still held you in his arms as Chloe and Maria rushed over.
“Oh my God HOW cute are you? It’s just like the end of a movie!!!!”
“Chloe--” You started.
“Yes I know, you’re welcome,” She giggled.
“What?” You and Rafael both looked at her in confusion.
“Uh, I’m pretty sure you were about to say ‘thank you Chloe, for giving me the love of my life’!” She looked at you with an ‘obviously’ look.
“....Weeeellllll,” You dragged out.
“Seriously?” She scoffed.
“I mean I got the job--”
“By manipulating the system,” Rafael added with a smile.
“Hush you,” You hit him playfully.
“And Rafael did say he was already in love with me, Soooo--” You nodded your head back and forth.
“And he also said he wouldn’t have said anything SOOOOO” She pointed out.
“I mean, he might have, someday--” You looked at Rafael, who gave you an iffy look.
“....Thank you Chloe, for giving you the love of my life. Thank you for everything good in my entire life,” You said sarcastically with a smile.
“You’re welcome!!!” Chloe beamed, throwing her arms around you.
“And speaking of the end of a movie--” You started.
“YESSSSSSS….?” She grinned.
“Movie’s over, Chloe,” You gestured your head at Rafael.
“....What?” She glanced between the two of you, you gave her an intense look.
“Right! Right, you guys just found each other, soulmates and all,” She waved her hands and bowed out. You and Rafael were just about to savor your alone time-- when Maria came bounding over to you.
“See, chiquita I knew it! The first time I saw you, I knew it was no brujeria!” She hugged you tightly, then hugged Rafael. “I told you Raffi, she’s a keeper,”
“Yeah she-- oh my god baby, what’s wrong?” Rafael suddenly became concerned when he saw you were crying.
“I just--” You tried to stop crying. “I had made peace with that day, that it was just-- for one day,”
“Aww honey,” He shook his head with a laugh as he hugged you.
“No, look Rafael--” You looked at him very seriously. “I-- You, you brought me to your most secret place, your familia, after we hadn’t even-- okay we may have made out in your office but that didn’t really count--”
“Baby,” He stopped your rambling with a small kiss.
“You have to believe me-- I would have taken you to Maria, and the fountain, and HERE,” He gestured around the cave. “Regardless of any ‘spell’,”
He took your head in his hands. “And you should know that I’m telling you the truth because that whole-- yellow, swirly, vortex of memories should just PROVE to you that I’m under ZERO kind of magic, or spells, or potions, or anything. It’s just ME, and ME is saying that I love you. I love you, and I have always loved you, and I want everyone to know it,”
“Okay…” You nodded with a small smile. “I just...I still feel guilty,”
“Well DON’T,” He kissed your forehead. “In fact, if anyone should feel guilty, it should be me,”
“You?” You half laughed. “What would you--”
“I remember everything, Y/N. EVERYTHING,” He emphasized.
“....Meaning…?” You raised an eyebrow.
“I remember how it felt, being under Olivia’s voodoo,” He looked at you sadly. “I remember everything I...said,”
“Oh…?”
“I was so cruel to you,” He looked down in shame. “I was so…”
“I know it wasn’t you, Rafa,” You assured him, now taking his head in your hands.
“...I called you a psychopath!" He looked at you in shame. “I PUSHED you, I--”
“HEY,” You stopped him with a finger over his lips. “We both did stuff we regret, clearly,”
He nodded silently as you removed your finger. “It was awful, Y/N,”
“...Yeah?” You asked. You felt so bad for him, it must have been a nightmare.
“YES. It was like-- like the real me was locked inside my body, just watching it do this awful stuff to you. I was screaming and fighting, that’s why I kept breaking out of it,” He put a hand on your face and you kissed you softly.
“Rafa…” You stroked his cheek.
“And she-- she made me bring her here,” He nodded at the celling, meaning the cave.
“What do you mean she made you bring her here?”
“I-- I don’t know how, I guess she…’overloaded’ me with that stuff so I was literally like a...Barba Bot,”
“Oh baby…” You tried not to laugh, but BarbaBot was too cute.
“...She, she told me to bring her everywhere that I brought you, so I brought her here. But I couldn’t tell her about Eduardo even under her highest power, so she--” He stopped, looking down.
“What…? She did WHAT?” You became really concerned, taking both of his hands and gripping them tightly.
“She pretended to be you,” He looked at you with the saddest eyes.
“I’m sorry, what?” You blinked in disbelief.
“She pretended to be you, so I told her about Eduardo. But I was reliving telling you. It was awful, I just watched myself telling her, wishing it was you,” Tears came to his eyes as he relived it in his head.
“Oh Rafa,” You kissed him deeply, wiping the tears from his cheeks. “But it’s over baby, It’s over,”
“I know, I know--” He kissed you again. “I just...I can’t believe this is real. This is happening, carino,”
“...You called me carino,” You bit your lip with a small smile.
“Yes,” He nodded with a smile back.
“On purpose,” You smiled bigger.
“Yes, cariño. Mi amor, amante, I’ll call you whatever you want Y/N. For the rest of our lives,” He pressed his forehead against yours. "I'm yours, now and forever. We'll be together, for real," He kissed you again, like he couldn't get enough of your lips.
“And...I think we should start right now,” He bit his lip while staring at yours.
“....Have we not been together…?” You looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
“Remember that first day, that first morning…?” He raised his eyebrows suggestively.
“Yeah I mean you were insanely--” You stopped talking, suddenly realizing what he was saying.
“Maria!” Rafael suddenly turned to Maria with a smile. “I appreciate you being with Y/N, and helping her but--”
“Ay, Raffi. I may be old, but I’m not dead,” She winked. She hugged you one both one last time and walked away, finally leaving you and Rafael together, alone.
“So...my place or yours?” Rafael took your hand and started leading you out of the park.
“I mean, Chloe’s at mine so--”
“Oh definitely mine,” He chuckled as you both got into the Uber and headed to his place.
-----
Soon you arrived at Rafael’s place; as soon as you walked in he grabbed you in a hungry kiss. You jumped on his waist as you felt his throbbing erection against your thigh. You were lost in his touch, his mouth, the smell of his cologne. You remembered back toy your perfect day, when you were memorizing all of this. And now, you didn’t have to. You could have it whenever you wanted. And you wanted it NOW. You pulled back for a second, looking into his amorous eyes.
“What is it, carino?” He asked softly.
“I just...I’ve waited for this for a long time, maybe forever,” You gave him a happy sigh, running fingers through his hair.
“Well that’s a lot of pressure amante,” He chuckled, blushing a bit.
“Oh no no no,” You shook your head, wrapping your legs tighter around his waist. “I am just so happy--”
“Well you’re about to be a LOT happier, I promise you,” He grinned mischievously as he carried you to the bedroom. He tossed you on the bed as he unbuttoned his tuxedo vest and then his shirt, his shoes and his pants. His erection was poking through his silk black boxers as he got on the bed and crawled towards you, grabbing you in an aggressive kiss.
“You ready for this, Y/N?” He wiggled his eyebrows.
“I’ve never been more ready for anything in my entire life,” You grinned as you ripped off your t-shirt, jeans and bra, leaving your top half exposed.
Rafael gazed at your breasts with admiration, playing and cupping them in his hands. His eyes then turned up to you, you’d never seen this look in his eyes. Not even under your spell. They were wanting, they were needing. And it was for you. He grabbed you in another kiss as he slowly slipped off your underwear.
Here we go….

guess who binged the entirety of leverage: redemption in 24 hours? i did, i did, even though i had to psych myself up a bit first. leverage was one of vanishingly few american/english-speaking TV shows that didn't let me down, didn't meander or lose the plot or did the characters dirty or lost its sense of hope and kindness and beautifully lived-in humor, and i was so afraid the sequel is going to mess it up. hardison's not there? new-ish lineup? noah whyle? (rant about him pulling the blanket onto himself and messing up with the nice ensemble show on librarians omitted for time).
what if they did it wrong? what if they're too egregiously dated or embarrassing? what if rogers forgot how to write eliot/hardison/parker? aaah. i had so much anxiety!
and now i have to report that NO EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT AND GREAT AND IT'S THE BEST SEQUEL EVER AND I'M SO GRATEFUL IT EXIST. GO WATCH IT NOW. IT'S A RAY OF JOY IN THIS TURBULENT WORLD AND I LOVE IT.
ahem.
dumping a bunch of spoilery and unspoilery reactions under one undiscriminating cut:
i loved how they dealt with timothy hutton not being on the show anymore, and by extension with nate's character, who was, for me, a very important part of the story: with nice verve and gravitas, and selling it with emotions, not just plot convenience.
eliot, hardison and parker are extremely, extremely, extremely married. i'm not sure, by the vibe, if it's an equal triangle of hardison-centered v with eliot and parker being platonic buddies, but yes, those are people who spent eight years together. (and banging.) the in-jokes! the synchronisity! the klingon! the nerdspeak! eliot calling hardison 'babe' at least two times! parker's incredibly inappropriate delight over hot, tight, new vents! god, if they only ever interacted in this pilot, i could live on it forever, and it continued, and it was great.
i'm extremely sad they didn't had hodge for the duration of the show, because apparently he grew from magnificent to incandescent in the interim, but the way they did it was absolutely amazing and worked extremely well for his character (and eliot/parker/hardison family too).
eliot is always my growly favorite, and the best thing about his show is how it's very… without being spelled out too much, it's visible that in those eight years, he's let go of last of his grief and rage and guilt, and he's happy. he's got his soul back, entire, he has his family and his world-changing job and his hobbies and his joys, and he knows that redemption is a lifetime work, and he's doing it with a smile. it was just great to see him, every moment of screen time.(he also kept his habit of being into very tall warrior women, which i can imagine fitting in with his family with no problem, and: good for him. i'm sad they didn't get mikel back for this particular beat, but it was still great.)
parker: sheer delight. just, she's still very much parker in all her gorgeous and gloriousness parker-ness, but she grew into it and into herself and into a variety of roles without reserve and without a limit, and i love her.
brianna the new baby hacker, hardison's baby sister, was SUPER good, fitted the crew like she was always there, and had a variety of great and fun relationships with the entire team. loved her.
SOPHIE: flat out stole the show. i always liked her, but secondary to the ot3, but: she brought so much weight into this reunion tour, her power and her grief and her mischievous streak and her ruthlessness and her hilarity, it was amazing. and i loved how she was very - she was her age in a way that you very rarely see on tv, i think. she and parker both, but sophie especially. my heart for her.
harry the dirtbag lawyer turned good, aka noah whyle: surprisingly great! they didn't give him a mastermind role, which would've killed the show for me, but instead drew him in as an overwhelmed but quickly invested and happy newbie with a lot of sins to atone for, and his bumbling and enthusiastic delight (with some darker underneath) fit the crew dynamics very well without being overpowering or distracting. good for him, and good for the show.
ELIOT LEARNED KLINGON FOR HARDISON AND PARKER DID TOO I REPEAT.
hardison's nanna is alive! and used to fbi on her doorstep.
sadly no sterling or bumbling interpol agents.
eliot made an aging security agent friend who bakes on one of the jobs, and it was adorable.
'LET'S LURE HIM IN AND ALL STAB HIM WITH THE FORKS.'
i laughed my entire ass off the george martin bit. oh show.
ELIOT JOUSTING: THANK YOU, GOD AND JOHN ROGERS. THANK YOU.
the updated and modernized cases - i recognized shkreil, but i'm sure everything else is also america- and current-world based, because the center cannot hold, et cetera - is sliding juuuuuuuuust to the line of being pleasant wish-fulfillment - if only there was a team of genius criminals to punish the unjust and save the innocent! - without being too bitter. i was worried about this aspect, and some of it is too on the nose, but - this was always leverage.
still no gay people, unless this one word in brianna's speech meant she was non-hetero in some unspecified way. that's a pity.
at least two of the marks had anxiety/ptsd that the team exploited in a way that was also very borderline to me: like, on one hand it should be recognized that mental illness doesn't excuse you from being a monstrous asshole to other people, and on the other hand, i wish the devs would learn their lesson from white rabbit job and just, like, don't. but whatever.
parker's cinderella dress, ehehehe.
"you just flipped your hair, eliot."
a surprising amount of the show, for all that it's, as always, hilarious, was - i'd say the entire theme was - about grief, and about grieving for the unfixable and lost, and continuing to move. i liked it a lot, and while sophie carried a lot of it, pretty much everybody had a bit of their own to do, and they all just - grew so much.
in conclusion: ah, ah, ah. what love.

The Prank - Boys Don’t Cry
Chapter 3: Too Unkind
Summary:
Lily starts a new friendship as an old one ends, and Sirius is left with no choice...
Notes:
To @maraudersftw - in the hope of cheering you up a bit, I love you and all your beautiful fics (which I am sure you all know already, but otherwise check them out immediately!) - I am looking forward to reading Retribution today ;))
Chapter 3: Too Unkind
I would say I'm sorry
If I thought that it would change your mind
But I know that this time
I've said too much
Been too unkind
Boys Don’t Cry (The Cure)
She didn’t know Sirius Black, he wasn’t exactly approachable. Outwardly confident, superficially charming, annoying prankster, clever, witty yet aloof - Lily knew he kept most people at arm’s length. She had been wondering how to drag him to the Infirmary when she spotted Black and Potter ahead of her, walking down the stairs. Without warning, Black seemed to crumple, and his limp body rolled down the rest of the staircase, landing with a light thud on the Third-Floor corridor.
“Pads!” Potter was racing down after him in seconds.
He turned his friend over with a terrified look on his face.
“Are you alright? Merlin, fuck!”
Lily flew down after them.
“M’ fine, you dork,” Sirius groaned.
He wasn’t fine, he was decidedly not fine.
She watched Potter cast a dozen healing spells, his eyes narrowed with concentration. How was he so expert at this? It was probably something to do with Remus, she guessed. She was pretty sure she knew what was wrong with her favourite Marauder.
“Stop fussing, Prongs, I haven’t broken anything!” Black said, casting a bemused, fond look at the boy with the messy hair.
“No offense, but you’re a clueless arse when it comes to looking after yourself, Padfoot,” Potter answered calmly, ignoring his protests.
“How are we even still friends, when all you do is insult me?” Black muttered.
“Shut up, we’re brothers, you don’t need to like me, you’re stuck with me regardless,” Potter replied.
Potter’s tone of voice was so different, once again, only good-natured banter, hiding real concern. She could see the warmth, kindness, reflected in his eyes. She had never noticed how pretty his hazel eyes were, with gold flecks, the darker limbal ring of his iris a grey colour.
“Evans, you’re staring.”
Black’s eyes had a mischievous glint. She rolled her eyes back at him, hoping she wasn’t blushing.
She extended her arm.
“Here,” she said.
This time it was Black’s turn to roll his eyes. Potter grabbed his other hand and together they pulled him up, swaying slightly. His face was ashen.
“You are coming with me, no arguments,” she said, linking arms with him and starting to walk down the corridor.
“Where are you bringing me? Is this a hot date, because no offence, Evans -“
Lily snorted.
“In your dreams, Black,” she said.
His face stiffened a bit. It suddenly hit her that he didn’t like being called a Black.
“In your dreams, Sirius,” she amended, smiling at him.
“We’re making an unexpected visit to one of your favourite people, Poppy Pomfrey,” she added, walking onwards with a steady pace.
“Oh Merlin, not you too,” Sirius groaned. “I’m perfectly fine, I told you.”
“Sirius, have you ever heard of the term toxic masculinity?”
“No, but I’ve a feeling you’re going to enlighten me,” Sirius sighed.

Dating Beverly Marsh Would Include...
Requested: [I'm sorry I can't remember who requested this or if this was an anon, I'm sorry!] Hey, could I request some headcanons about dating Beverly? (Also if you could add in the reader having homophobic parents 💕)
Warnings: obviously there will be homophobia, [at the end so people can skip if they need to read safely 😊] specifically from the readers parents so please feel free to skip if need be. And remember my blog is a safe space 💕 oh yeah theres also plenty of grammar/spelling errors i'm sure
A//n: This was WAY longer than I anticipated. I just kept coming up with more stuff and holy crap I love writing Bev x readers???? Please request more Bev Edit: this was in my drafts forever and again as much as i have been trying to get requests out in order, it's been pretty tough but at least this way stuff gets out sooner so here ya go.
Okay
First of all..
Y'all make the CUTEST COUPLE, OKAY?!
Like no joke
You know that cliche about girls stealing their boyfriends hoodies/clothes??
Well that goes for both of you and you both are always swapping clothes cause you both love each other's sense of style
Plus, ya know, it's got that great boyfriend girlfriend smell
It's cheesy and played out, but it's honestly so wholesome, and again, you guys each have an interest in each others senses of styles
If you're bigger than her, and her clothes don't necessarily fit you, pfffttt no big deal, she had a million blankets that smelled like her and then you two got together and now she can only find like,, two. But that doesn't mean she doesn't love stealing your clothes!! They're baggier on her but oH MY GOODNESS DOES SHE LOVE THAT. She just loves being able to completely immerse herself in your stuff. Especially when she isn't feeling safe in her own home and you aren't around, the best thing for her is to wrap herself in her your stuff and be comforted by you. Uggh, its hella sweet
But let's start from the beginning...
Both of you knew about each other from school
You definitely heard the many rumors about "Beaver-ly Marsh"
Not that you participated, but you were always overhearing rumors from gossiping girls and bragging boys in your class
Your school wasn't huge but it wasn't small either
But it was kill or be be killed, and rumors spread like the damn plague
It was inevitable
And it was just a matter of time before you overheard the several rumors of the "slut" who did it with every guy in school.
You'd roll you're eyes at the word and the ridiculous insinuations, knowing the massively overplayed game of telephone that ruled your school was not necessary the most credible source of information
And you were positive there were rumors about you, I mean, it really wasn't possible to go to that school without a rumor going around
Everyone had one
Anyways, you never paid much attention to them, but then you met her...
And oh no.
Immediately, it was:
You already never paid much mind to the rumors, but when you got to know each other??
Nuh uh.
No way
Not Beverly
No no no no, no
She was way too sweet, and shy, and beautiful, and awesome, and funny, annnd oh no the damn butterflies were back and shit she made you feel things
And you??
Bevery had no clue she was into girls until you came along...
You were her gay awakening and her being so used to all those nasty things people said about her and all those boys??
Even though it wasn't true, any of it, she still always expected that eventually one day she'd get her first boyfriend, to love and cuddle with and everything normal
Again, then you came along and her heart was all like
BOOM BOOM BEECH
You both danced around each other a lot. Seeing as you were two precious little gay beans that lived in a conservative town in the 80s, it wasn't exactly the most accepting environment and you guys didn't know if the other was into girls at all
On both sides it was "does she like me or is she just really laid back and friendly???"
It took way too long to figure out you were both into each other
If I'm being completely honest here, y'all were like the female reddie
Two girls who became best friends and always bickered like crazy to hide your feelings
The way you two found out you had feelings for one another was bumpy and awkward but silly and cute nonetheless
It came off in a passing comment that just slipped out
The two of you were having a sleepover like you did every Friday night you were available
and you two were laying on her bedroom floor talking about anything and everything staring at the ceiling
Her radio was playing in the background and the two of you were surrounded by various snacks you had been munching on all throughout the night and the conversation drifted to gossip about your peers at school
It went a little something like this:
Y: "Did you see so and so today??"
B: "Yes!!"
Y: *laughing* "Yeah, what the hell was that?"
B: I have no idea what goes on in her head...
B: but I guess I gotta give her some credit, she's always super confident and I'm like, 90% sure that's what makes her the most desirable girl in the 8th grade"
Y: "I guess that makes sense"
B: "I do wish I had her confidence. Maybe I'd have better luck romantically"
Y: "Oh please, like you need that. You're infinitely more attractive than her"
B: "What?"
Y: *panicked* "What?"
B: *slowly sits up with smug ass smirk on her lips* are you saying you find me... attractive?"
Y: ..."what?" *sweating*
B: *still smirking* "Wait,"
Y: "WhAT?"
B: *stILL smirking* "do you-?"
Y: *full on gay panic* "No!"
B: *smirking and blushing*
B: *lays back down* "well, I think you're pretty attractive yourself, if it's any consolation"
She's still so nervous though so it comes out in a whisper
She's 99 percent certain you just accidentally revealed your crush to her but her heart was p o u n d i n g anyway
What if it just came out wrong and that's why you panicked???
Had she just revealed her crush to you by mistake???
But no
You both were a blushing mess and it did not go unnoticed by either one of you
You're hands kinda accidently brushed and you both just had a heart attack on the spot
But the connection you two had that night
You both just... knew
You guys kinda just... happened
After that you both were aware you liked each other
But it was kind of unspoken
At first
It's not like you guys never talked about it, but you two definitely became more touchy and flirty
Holding hands when no one was looking
Shortly before you guys happened and before that night, she had introduced you to losers and they just totally accepted you as one of their own
You got along especially well with Richie (wonder why)
But Bev wasn't too happy about this particular fact...
Especially after you two got together
She wasn't necessarily jealous, especially cause she already had a sneaking suspicion about his feelings for another loser, but because he took up a lot of her time with you
But then, to her chagrin, Richie found out about you two
the eight of you were hanging out in the clubhouse, and Ben had to make some adjustments so him and the others left momentarily to help him get the resources
Except you, and Bev
You two volunteered to hold down the fort [literally]
aaaaaaand you two wanted to have a few minutes alone together too,
Nothing scandalous or anything like that, but you two didn't get be close around the losers
Then Richie returned way earlier than expected [turns out he was doing more harm than good and they sent him back]
He was just outside the entrance and he overheard you two
"I wish we could tell them,"
"I know. And it's not that I don't think they'll accept us, it's-" *sigh* "I'm just not ready... I'm sorry"
"Don't be. It's okay, we can tell them when we're both good and ready."
"Thank you, Y/n."
Richie just kinda stood there thinking about what he just heard
I mean, it made sense, you guys were really close, but then again, that's just how he thought all girls were
But everything else kinda made more sense the more he thought about it
And, it honestly reminded him of him and Eddie
More specifically, how he felt about his best friend
Now naturally this was a very emotional moment, but Richie Tozier being Richie Tozier wasn't about to waltz in there and give some sappy speech about he accepts you guys and he's here for you no matter what
No, no, no
He laid down on the forest floor, sticking his head in the clubhouse scaring the shit out of you two and said
"You guys should really be more quiet, Ben may be a suspiciously good overnight kid architect sensation but he has yet to soundproof this baby"
He then stuck his arm inside the clubhouse, patting the ceiling, shaking a couple spiders loose from his his hand in disgust
"Richie...!"
You two jumped apart and you about nearly shit your pants
"Relax, I'm not gonna tell anyone,"
You both were startled as hell and absolutely disgruntled but the two of you looked at each other, simultaneously breathing a sigh of relief
He got up and joined you two in the clubhouse, and began lounging in his usual spot in the hammock, arms behind his head
"So, this means you two are both into girls, huh?"
Once again, you looked at one another and back at him, nodding shyly
He plastered on the most mischievous smirk you had ever seen and nodded his head, his huge eyes squinting slightly from behind his glasses
"niceee"
This of course was followed by simultaneous eye rolls, Bev even threw her gum wrapper at him but you laughed
It was a relieved laugh
Here you were, exposed and unintentionally outed to Richie "Trashmouth" Tozier and sure enough his reaction was "nICE"
It was honestly a relief and kinda hilarious
You guys just kinda broke out into laughter
It was nice moment
***TRIGGER WARNING FOR [PARENTAL] HOMOPHOBIA BELOW***
And for a while, everything was great. That was, until your parents began to take note just how much time you were spending with Bev
They kept an eye on it at first
Then they started asking questions
You knew this day would come one way or another
Hell, you grew up with them after all, you knew what they thought about people like you and it broke your heart
It terrified you
And it's exactly what you heard every night when you tried to fall asleep, their voices speaking to you clear as day; how disgusted they were. They weren't really there of course and it wasn't until you became a loser that you found out what that voice was...
The point is, your deepest fear was being realized so you did what you could do
Lie
And it seemed to work. Briefly
Your mother had come in to check on you two for the fifth time - usually she checked on you two four times since their suspicions - and found you two snuggled up on top of your sleeping bags
Your mother screamed, scaring the crap out of you guys and you jumped apart
Your mother was thrown into hysterics and went to fetch your father, wailing like a damn baby
Needless to say that night was a long one for everyone
And as if things couldn't get any worse, just days later you found out that Beverly had been taken by It
Immediately, every doubt, every fear, every inkling of shame your parents and your community had drilled into you was forgotten and all that mattered was getting her back
You and your friends literally went through hell to get her back
Needless to say it was a terrifying ordeal but you all had each other's backs and everyone came out okay
When you left Neibolt, you and Beverly were hand in hand
You couldn't give a flying fck about it, you just fought a shape-shifting demon clown you could face your small minded parents
And more importantly you knew even if your parents didn't support you, you had other people who did that and that was enough
✎﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
Hope you enjoyed, sorry it's so long and again this is out of order of who requested it so I'm sorry to those of you who had stuff in before this, but I've just been stuck for too long and I needed to get things moving again. Anyways, I hoped you guys like this and again, omg I love writing Beverly!!! I would not be offended if you guys asked for more Bev fics/hc when I open up requests again
