Ok so bc of some weird speculative asks ive gotten I want to be a bit more clear, so my husband and I talked about what we CAN say publicly (also y'all need to realized how weird it is to speculate about a person's life)
We had a death in the family that is strongly affecting us both. A person's death. We did not want to say much because of jokes made by people when my aunt died of cancer in 2020 saying she killed herself due to being related to me. But we're both very sick of the weird assumptions and shit.

(Two Cents Anon) Glad to see we got a response about the workplace allegations! Imo it seemed pretty solid and I kiiiinnda understand why he remained quiet for awhile.
HOWEVER, I still find it odd that Kevin or Luke haven't said anything about the whole situation with Celeste, which, iirc, was what started all of this. I hope they speak up about that soon- I just want her to get a real solid apology :( Also, speaking of the Celeste situation, it really does feel like the result of just. Assuming and jumping to conclusions. Still makes me feel... weird in regards to watching SMG4/Glitch Productions, so I'll continue abstaining from it.
Oh god hi anon so sorry for taking forever to answer, I've been mega busy the past week so everything's been slow as hell </3 I was also waiting at first to see if anything else will happen but things seemed to have quiet down a bit so I'll say something now.
I agree, Kevin's response was a pretty solid one, acknowledging what Glitch's current working situation is like while also acknowledging how it was in the pass definitely show some growth and change since then. I feel that a more dishonest approach would be to completely deny everything and worse yet, not address it at all. I do think the past criticisms are valid and shouldn't be disregarded now, but having a more even distribution between good and bad experiences really helps balance things out.
However I do agree though, the lack of a response to Celeste is definitely disappointing, I get the main focus of Kevin's response was to address the working conditions allegations, but this would've been the perfect time to say something. I mentioned before that Celestes' situation is probably more of a private matter unfortunately, in that any conversations are going to be between Celeste and Glitch privately.
It'll be up to them if they wish to share it publicly again, if they do or don't is up to them, I can only hope that Celeste gets a proper apology and some kind of closure privately at least, it's kinda one of those things that is more personal and therefore doesn't have to be shared publicly. I'm just glad she doesn't hold any ill will towards Lottie, as we know she's innocent in all this, I'll respect any decision that they make in regards to who keeps voicing Tari.
It's sad to think this whole situation started from poor communication, we can all sit here and say how easy this was to avoid because in all honesty, it was very easy to avoid. We can only hope that Glitch learns from this, but it sucks that this comes at the expense of loosing one of their first VA's, and subsequently all the others who quit too. I still genuinely wish all of them the best and that they can move onto greater things.
I do think Jasmine's apology is all we'll get unfortunately, but it's at least something.
I get what you mean about still not feeling comfortable watching Glitch, I'm still not entirely comfortable with it, but for me personally I'm probably gonna go back to watching them soon, even if this never gets fully resolved. Don't get me wrong, I'm still upset and disappointed with Glitch over this, but I do genuinely believe they can improve from this, I'm willing to give them another chance basically.
Part of my reasons to stop watching was because of the workplace conditions, I was under the assumption every single employee was horrifically overworked and underpaid, and I would take no comfort in watching something I knew was made under those conditions. But now that we have clarified that those claims are not entirely true (again maybe for in the past but definitely not as much now), I can take some comfort in that.
I will still 100% keep myself and everyone else here updated incase any new developments happen, but I do genuinely think this is all we're going to get unfortunately. Wether you can continue to watch Glitch or not is entirely up to you and as I've always said, I hold no judgement towards anyone, if you're not satisfied enough to keep watching them, thats fine and understandable.
I don't want anyone to think I'll be forgetting about this just because I'm gonna go back to watching and making content soon, and neither should anyone else forget about this, I just genuinely think Glitch can improve and change from this and I'm willing to give them a chance. Obviously if something like this happens again then I'm done, but I've seen enough accountability this time around (albeit kinda weak) to keep watching them for now.
That's all I'll say for now, I'm still happy to keep hearing from people about this, I don't want this to become "old drama", it's literally 2/3 weeks old now that's not old, I'm old, my back aches.

tbh i would still disagree with you!! that's not really what Evangelicals believe, although I'm not Evangelical myself so I could be wrong. but my understanding is that they also believe in the idea that sin can be forgiven. the problem lies in their idea of what constitutes a sin, not the idea that you cannot be cleansed from it. you can be forgiven from your sin as soon as you stop sinning! of course, by "stop sinning" they frequently mean like... "stop being gay" or "stop being jewish". But to say that the problem with Christianity is that the theology doesn't support redemption and forgiveness is just factually untrue. That's like... the whole Bible. It's mostly about forgiveness (and sometimes about how rich people are bad and the very occasional weird sex things)
Also, I would say that the fact that angels CAN fall would suggest that they DO have free will? I don't think there's anywhere in the Bible that says that angels DON'T have free will, but that might be because like... angels really aren't that important? Their relative moral quality (or that of devils) isn't discussed much in the Bible, because like... idk who cares?? its not a book about how cool angels are and here's all their lore. theyre just god's employees. i mean, im no theologian, but from what i remember from church, jesus and his pals are the main characters of the bible, and appearances from angels are just kind of... serviceable and incidental? to me, complaining about the theological implications of the angels is like worrying about the theological implications of jesus's donkey. that's not really who in the story you're supposed to be looking at for a reflection on how God views you, or how you're supposed to behave. tbh i kinda feel like supernatural and good omens being so popular on tumblr has given people an outsized sense of how much the actual theology cares about angels. like... idk theyre neat i guess? but its not really a foundational element of the church, at least not in my experience.
This discussion ends up frustrating me a lot, because I feel like there's no way to address any actual problems with Christianity if we just lie about what it's like. If the entire theology was founded upon "there's no way to come back from sin sorry :/ guess you're fucked", why would anyone believe in it? why would people ever convert to that? are we under the assumption that every single christian is just a huge idiot who cant understand their own religion? how do we benefit critically from assuming that's the case? how can we even seek to fix any problems of the christian church if we keep making up what the problems are? and why are you giving people an argument that's so easy to refute? like... ok imagine there's a local restaurant where you KNOW the employees never wash their hands. if you go around being like "that restaurant is bad because their burgers are made with horse meat!", the owners of the restaurant are just gonna go "no? its not made with horse meat" and then continue to never wash their hands. why are we lying!!!
i hate that post about how theres fallen angels in christianity but no risen devils bc christian theology teaches sin is inescapable and you'll never make up for it. like that is fully not true??? the foundations of christianity are that sin is unavoidable because we are fallible humans but that you can always be forgiven. i mean, the parable of the prodigal son? the lost lamb? the sacrament of confession? any of these ringing any bells?
also, a devil IS a fallen angel, so a risen devil would just... be an angel? if you break up with your boyfriend, hes your ex, and if you get back together, he's not your ex-ex, he's just your boyfriend again
like... christianity has so many problems, why are we making ones up?

Ok, I’m gonna be honest here, because I have enough of this shit
The “Colby situation” proves just how dumb our society is 🥴
Like why everytime that you see a man and women together you assume that they MUST be together or must made out, slept with each other etc.. How about being just friends? Is that a surprise for you? Yeah, opposite genders can be JUST friends as well, they do not have to have any romantic feelings for each other.
Tbh I see it that way: Colby is only friends with those girls and i do not give a damn shit if he slept with them or not ( again to sleep with someone you do not have have deeper feelings for them), but I feel like he treats them only as his friends and wants to be friends with them, but people immediately jumping on thousands of assumptions about him having feelings for one of them or something else, whenever he literally breathes next to them, makes it harder for him.
Remember what Harry Styles once said in an Interview back in 2013?: “I have a lot of friends, some of them are girls and apparently I am dating all of them”. If you didn’t see that interview and him saying that, I can tell you that his voice when he was saying it sounded SAD.
I can see the same thing literally happening with Colby rn. He has friends and some of those friends were/are girls and apparently he is dating/dated ALL of them.
That is so fucked up. Stop making assumptions, especially that you are talking about straight relationships. If he would be with one of those girls, he would say something, since there is no need for him to hide a relationship with a girl. As long as he won’t say anything about his love life, then fans should just stop assuming that he is in love with every single girl he literally just hangs out with.
sorry it took me a bit to answer this one !
i'm not entirely sure why so many fans can't understand that colby can be friends with a girl and have it be nothing more than platonic.
while some of the girls he's been "seen" with have been more than platonic, even then, assuming he can't just be friends with girls is gross to me.
boiling colby down to just this walking sex monster thing that HAS to fuck any girl he's in contact with is weird. not to mention, thinking that he can't be friends with girls without wanting to fuck them makes him look terrible.
like, girls and guys can be just friends. colby is just friends with most if not all the girls he's around. he's not with every one of them.
not to mention, but even if he outright says "i'm just friends with this girl", ppl think he's lying. but if he doesn't address it, ppl think he's hiding the """relationship""" 🙄
and then on top of all of that, they wonder why he doesn't share his love life with us. maybe it's the fact that he can't even have one without ppl losing it and sending hate to a girl that just stood next to him that he's not even WITH.
it's, like, exhausting to be in this fandom.
