Many thanks to @itwillbeourswansong for tagging me, I loved reading your stories, it's so fun to see how everyone got into Tolkien.

" What got you into Tolkien? "

As for me I was first introduce to Tolkien's universe thanks to the movies when I was a child and even thought I was too young to remember what I watched I had favourite characters. Now I wish I could watch it Like that again, rediscovering everything each time.

Then a little before the hobbit movie was out my brother was gifted a dvd set of the extented version so we watched them together and as he is a little older than me he also land me his copy of the hobbit. I was 11 and I read it so fast ! I liked it very much. Then we watched The Hobbit movies and I'm not gonna lie we only saw them twice or thrice and I don't remember the story, only that I like watching them and loved the music ( I need to rewatch them ).

Years passed and I don't have time to read anymore, but the Lotr movies are still movies we watched often during breaks. My brother and my cousins are nerd so I'm used to hear a lot of talk about lotr, the differences between movies and books, they recounted me some part of the Silmarion and it's amazing. Truly the work/world of Tolkien is one that is beautiful to share, and experiencing it by someone telling you a story they memorised, wonderful.

A few years ago ( I think ? ) a new french translation was made and I read about the how and why and it got me Interested in buying the books ( im a bit of language nerd). Between (re) starting uni and life in général I'm only reading them now but finally, I'm reading them !

As for the Rings of Power, I was so hyped, I was Interested in it since they announce it. I really like this project, I think the 2nd season is better than the 1st and I hope that it will continue to improve. I really like the orignal characters and we can see the care there is in the décors and costume.

I wrote a lot im sorry, im that talkative.

But funfact my brother can't physically watch the end of the return of the King without saying " actually sam goes to Valinor too when he is old " ( and I really hope it's in the book and he doesn't say that because I used to be sad to see Sam and Frodo being apart ) ( and here I am talking again )

So, question: What got you into Tolkien?

I was tagged by the lovely @iwanderbecauseimlost in this post.

It was a combination of things to be honest. My Dad read The Hobbit to me and my younger brother when I was six (6) and I was hooked from there. It’s my favourite book and I’ve reread more than any other book. Peter Jackson’s The Fellowship of the Ring had just come out around the same time and whilst we weren’t allowed to watch it yet, my older brother explained the plot and we played the Top Trumps.

My older brother is 10 years older than me and he had already read The Hobbit and LOTR. He also had the Tolkien Encyclopaedia and I consumed it like a rabid animal. It’s where I came across Melkor for the first time and little seven (7) year old me became obsessed.

I didn’t read the actual LOTR trilogy until I was maybe 14 or 15 because I found it difficult to get into; but when I did read it, it was in an omnibus version and I got through all of it in a week.

The Silmarillion I dipped in and out of throughout my teen years but I read it through in its entirety, whilst listening to The Tolkien Professor, during the 2020 lockdown. I loved it.

So Tolkien has been a huge part of my life. It inspired me in GSCE Art and DT: Graphics. I dressed up as Gandalf for The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies with my friends. Me and my brothers quote the films to each other all the time. My wedding had an LOTR theme.

The Rings of Power led me to Tumblr though, specifically, Adar did 😅 and l love the community on here. Adarlings are the best, as are the most of the rest of TROP fans.

Y'all HSR is so good, like I don't think y'all understand. I genuinely think no one loves it as much as me

I love all the LIs, even though I might not romance them all right now, every single one of them are so beautiful physically, it's crazy....I never thought any other author could out-pretty remy's LIs lol (I think the only gripe I'd have with it, is Anna is the only single female LI....& now this addition of Abel as a male LI when we already had Boris & several male LIs, idk it seems too much. Like give the wlw players one more female LI, please aleksandra 🙏🏾🙏🏾)

Other than that, everything is perfect....my main route - I'm romancing cain, the 2nd slot goes to dmitry (he is honestly not talked about enough, he ate this update up!!!) I would rant about how much I love these two but this post would turn into an essay & I still have a lot to talk about

3rd slot goes to Greg!!! Definitely!!! Hello??? he would have honestly been my main LI if Cain didn't exist (curse me and being drawn to mysterious fucked up men 😭)

First of all, no shade to other rc black men, but I want to say a big THANK YOU to Aleksandra for not making him the typical grumpy or brooding rc black man (no, like what's up with that?, Although cassiel is my main LI in ABH, he gets a pass sorry 😭) I feel like only greg & that one guy in 7b are happy sunlight vibes black men in the whole of rc...

That and she made him so physically HOT without the addition of ridiculous european eye colours (evthys swenett jumpscare & luc- *gunshots*) & he doesn't have that oh so annoying grey undertone? (cassiel once again you get a pass) like Greg is the embodiment of a ray of sunshine. Which is also good because Sasha didn't just relegate him to some goofy black side character, no I'm actually impressed he was the main general or whatever, after dmitry & he actually has an emotional back story with his sister (I feel like his romance route will be so emotionally hard because it will be one of the major factors that will force lane to feel conflicted between humanity & her dark side) heartbreak & tears are coming, I fear

Overall the book is just SO GOOD, it deadass feels like I'm watching a horror movie or sometimes like I'm with the characters seeing everything happening to them from afar, it's so immersive....sometimes cozy AF, NGL I hope they don't move away from their snowy/dead climate background in coming seasons. I think that's a major contribution to the way the story gets players to feel

The writing is amazing for a new author, man I don't want HSR to end but I am absolutely seated for the next work from this author

ugh for me personally the only thing worse they could have done is make her pregnant or have a baby. i hate storylines like this im so sorry. it's different when the parent-child relationship is like the main focus or the premise of the show/movie (the mandalorian, the last of us, the walking dead game, silco taking care of powder who's the main character), but when a random ass child shows up years late to the party and needs someone to take care of them and the child character has no previous connection to the audience... i really dislike that in stories im so sorry. leave jinx alone

also, in what world is jinx ready to be a mother figure to anyone lmao she's very much stuck in a child-like state herself half the time. this is not what she needs, we both deserve better

"They're staring again" a voice said from behind you. "You know, staring isn't gonna help you?" it asked, this time addressing you. You turned around to be met with your team leader Cara and co-worker Mr. Yoon.

"Well, not all of us can be lucky to date our co-worker like you are, team lead" You responded. Cara was dating another co-worker named Joshua Hong. The two had joined the Going Company at the same time and began dating not long after that.

"But you could. Didn't you say out of your group, you're closest to Mr. Lee.?" Mr. Yoon joined the conversation as he sipped on his Americano.

"But that's only because of the teams we're in. So it's only because finance and promotion departments work closely together" you pointed back out to the male.

"Either way, just staring at the poor boy isn't going to make him like you back. A piece of advice, make a move" Cara told you with an annoyed look. Mr. Yoon nodded in agreement as he patted your shoulder on the way back to his department. You know the two are only trying to help you with your crush on Mr. Lee but you were fine with the way things are. Staring at him in secret and being work buddies was good enough for you.

"L/N, just the person I was looking for!" A voice you knew well, Mr. Lee's, called out for you in the hallway.

"Hey, Mr. Lee!~ What's up?" you asked, your voice slightly cracking when you said the male's name.

"I was thinking we could go out after work. I wanted to run some ideas by you and get your opinion" He told you as he flashed a bright smile in your direction. Your heart skipped a beat at the sight and you felt like flying at his request.

"Of course, we can go to that cafe down the street."

You and Mr. Lee walked together to the Green Room Café, it wasn't far from the company so many of the employees were familiar with it. You were hoping that Mr. Lee hadn't seen any of the encouraging gestures from Mr. Boo, Mr. Chwe, Mr. Yoon, Cara, and even Mr. Hong. It had been embarrassing enough that all of them were making a big deal out of the situation, you didn't need the male questioning you on top of it.

"So what did you want to talk about exactly?" you asked the male as the two of you sat at an open table. Mr. Lee picked one that seemed to secluded from the others which piqued your curiosity as to the reason why.

"Like I said earlier, I have some ideas I want to go through with you. I'm not as good as Seungkwan but bear with me on my slides" Mr. Lee said as he pulled his computer from his bag. You felt a fit disappointed that the male only wanted to talk about work. But this is what you should have expected, the two of you were work buddies and nothing more. Mr. Lee went through his ideas to advertise products, asking about their financial estimates and your opinion.

The one-time event had became a weekly routine for you and Mr. Lee. The two of you would go to the cafe to go over the male's ideas, and he'd message you if there was any updates. Cara was worried that he was using you to get ahead but you reassured your team lead, that wasn't the case. Mr. Lee walked over to your desk, placing a small treat on it. He had been doing that often too causing the butterflies in your stomach to increase.

"I have something I want to tell you. Meet me on the roof top during lunch break" he told you before winking and walking away. You felt giddy at the thought of meeting him on the roof type. It was rumored within the employees that it was the place to go to make a confession.

You were met the sight of Mr. Lee looking out as you walked through the doorway. "Mr. Lee!" you called out to him. You had decided that you were going to confess to the male as the occasion seemed to call for it. "I actually have something to say to you as well. Would it be alright, if I go first?" you asked, walking up to where he stood. You waited for him to nod before speaking. "I like you" you said, keeping it short and simple.

"Oh. Um," Mr. Lee awkwardly laughed. His response was making you grow more nervous. "I- um, I don't feel that way about you" he said with an awkward tone.

You hummed as you nodded your head and looked to the floor. You knew that you wouldn't and couldn't change the man's feeling. "So, what did you want to talk about?" you asked the man as you tried to hide any hints of your feeling in your voice.

"I just wanted to thank you for helping me. I've been able to gain more recognition in my department, the department head said I might be able to earn a promotion if I continue" Mr. Lee informed you before clearing his throat. It was obvious that he was feeling awkward about how the situation turned. "Um, so thanks" he coughed before turning to walk away and leaving you alone. As you heard the door close behind him, you allowed for yourself to began crying.

˗ˏˋ Universe 2: Clone Dino ˎˊ˗

You watched as the male on the table opens his eyes. "Y/N? Is that you?" he asked with a confused face and hoarse voice.

"Yes, it's me, Dino" you answered, helping him to sit up from his original position. "How are you feeling?" you ask him as you hand him a glass of water.

"I've got a slight headache but I just feel confused for the most part".

"That's okay. The headache will go away and you won't feel confused for long" you explained to the male as you grab his left arm. "Let's try standing up and walking" you said, helping him off the table. You put his arm around your shoulder before slowly walking out of the room.

"What happened?" Dino asked. He looked around the area as if he didn't recognize it. You only hummed in response, ignoring his question as you brought him into another room. "Y/N?" he asked again, this time his voice raised upon entering the new room. In the middle was a pile of bodies, ones that if closely inspected looked similar to him. Your actions made it seem like this was a normal thing which only added to Dino's concern.

"I'm sorry, my sweet boy. I'll figure this out" you said as you caressed his cheek and giving him a kiss on the other.

I wonder what the problem is? Why was that one so confused?" you asked to yourself, turning your head as you looked at the papers laid out in front of you. Shaking your head, you resolved to trying again. You were determined for this to work. It needed to work; you couldn't live without your boyfriend, Dino, by your side. Loading up the data again, you threw yourself back into creating.

You watched as the male on the table opened his eyes. He didn't move or try to say anything making you feel worried. "Dino?" you asked, leaning in closer to him. "Are you okay?" you continued as you brought your hand close to his face. As you brushed his hair out of his eyes, they suddenly opened like he had been shocked. You back away just in time before Dino sat up, narrowly avoiding smacking your head onto his. Still saying nothing, Dino brought you into a hug. His head laying on your chest and his arms tight around your waist. "Dino?" you asked once again as you stroke the hair on the back of his head.

"I'm okay" he said, looking up at you with his twinkling eyes. You sighed, feeling relief, and leaned over the male. It felt like you finally had the love of your life back. You missed this, you missed him.

"I missed you" you whispered, deciding to tell him how you felt at this moment. He pulled away from you, although still keeping his hands on your waist.

"why? I didn't go anywhere".

You just sniffly laughed before nodding your head. It was best that he believed that rather than knowing the truth. Suddenly the door burst open interrupting the moment between reuniting lovers. Before you had a moment to understand, they were pulling the two of you apart. Two officers detained you while three surrounded Dino, who was still on the table, forming a wall. The next events happened too fast and suddenly you were pushed onto your knees while being yelled at. The wall of officers separated and Dino sat with his head facing downward. He had a hole in the side of his neck and his hands were limp. You let out a gut wretching scream at the sight before further falling onto the ground. You had just gotten him back and yet again he was taken away from you.

"Don't you think you should be more careful with your money? I mean your first card declined, that's not like you" your best friend, Cara, mentioned as the two of you walked out of the store.

"Yeah, typically you're the frugal one out of us. Is something going on? We can help, you know that right?" another one, Cubi, joined in, their face showing their worry. You laughed and waved them off.

"No nothing going on. Remember I told you guys, I got a boyfriend. I've just been helping him out" you told them with a shrug.

"And that's the problem. P- what was his name again?" Cara starts again, her pace quickening to match yours. Cara and Cubi flanked you, theirs gazes still filled with worry.

"Pi Cheolin" you answered her before continuing non-chalant. "And there's no problem with partners helping each other out when they need it. I honestly glad that he trusts me enough to tell me his problems". Your face heated up at the thought of your relationship and your boyfriend. Cubi shook their head, you were seemly to innocent, more like naive, and love blind to see what was happening.

"Tell me, honestly, do you think this Pi Cheolin would do the same for you?" Cubi asked, stopping the three of you from walking any further. You nodded adamantly but you were growing annoyed at your friend's accusations. You knew your boyfriend; he loved you and right now, he was just going through a rough patch. As if sensing your annoyance, your friends stopped their questioning instead reassuring they were there if you needed help.

"Cheol, you won't believe what Cara and Cubi was telling me today!" you yelled out into the small house. Because Pi Cheolin was struggling, you let him stay at your place despite how small it was just for one person. The place was dark and quiet like there was nobody occupying it. That was odd because your boyfriend tried to cook around this time as a form of payback. "Cheolin!" you called out again as your finger fumbled for the light switch. Nothing happened as you flipped the handle up and down. "What the hell? I gave him the money for the bills?" you whispered to yourself confused as to why the lights weren't working. It wasn't a power outage because your neighbors had working lights but you definitely gave Pi Cheolin the money to pay the bills. Maneuvering in the dark to find your entry table and stumbled for the flashlight stored there. Now with some form of light, you were met with a disaster. It looked as if a storm had gone through your home, items were knocked over and cushions overturned. Worry grew inside of you at the sight; where was Cheolin within this mess. You couldn't help but think that someone had gotten to him. Taking out your phone, you hurriedly dialed 119.

"Hey, the police send there was no sign of a two-person struggle or breaking-&-entering. I'm sorry to say it but they believe this guy scammed you" your friend Cara said to you after speaking with the officers. They had tried telling you earlier but you didn't believe them. Cubi brought you in for a hug, holding you close to their side.

"You can stay at my house until you get your money together again" Cubi offered with a small smile. Cara nodded as they looked back over at your small place with polices filing out.

"And we can go to the bank to see what we can do. It'll be okay" they reassured you, placing a hand onto your shoulder.

˗ˏˋ Universe 4: Please don't tell me wait ˎˊ˗

You looked at the pressed flower you had hidden in your recipe book. You caressed the page it sat on with your finger before letting out a sigh. "I thought you said that the date went well?" Nara asked you from their spot at the front counter.

"It did" you told her as you looked up from the book. "And we've been talking but our relationship status is still up in the air" you continued after a moment of hesitation. You grimly smiled as you thought back to the few dates you had been on with Chan.

"Hmm, maybe you just need to wait" Nara said, turning back around to face the front of your bakery.

"I don't want to wait though~" you whined but it fell on deaf ears. You poured at your friend's back before humphing and turning back to to your recipe book. "I don't want to have to wait" you said again, this time whispering to yourself as you continued to look at the pressed flower. The oven beeping distracted you from your wallowing and pulled you from your seat. You had become busy checking on the pastries causing you to miss your phone screen that lit up with a message.

'Can I see you tonight?'

"Y/N's not replying to my text" Chan whined to his hyungs. He had texted the baker about 30 minutes ago and yet his phone was still showing delivered.

"I'm sure you can wait until they reply" Wonwoo pointed out to the youngest male. Vernon just patted the other's shoulder before returning his attention back to something else.

"I don't want to wait" Chan slightly whined at the response. "I mean what if Y/N loses feelings or worse thinks I don't have feelings" he continued with his eyes growing wider at the thought.

"If you don't want to wait then go to them" Jeonghan advised as he looked to him. At Chan's confused face, he continued. "If you're so worried then go. It's as simple as that". Jeonghan and his statement made it seem like it was simple math (which it was). Chan nodded his head and got up from the table. He felt determined to not leave it to fate. As Chan left to get dressed, he sent another text out.

'I'll see you later tonight ◡̈'

"Are you sure that you're okay closing alone?" Nara asked as they hung up their apron and replaced it with their coat.

"Yes, I'm sure. There's one more order left and then I just have to clean up a bit. It'll be fine" you told them, waving them out of the door. Watching Nara walk down the street, you let out a sigh before looking at the clock. You let out another sigh at the time; another day passed and you're still confused about your standing with Chan. You walked to the back, turning off the lights as you went. You didn't bother to keep the lights on as all of the chairs were put up and no one else should be coming in. You began preparing the last order and the start of a long cleaning process.

Chan stood outside of the bakery, trying to see if anyone was inside. It was dark inside but he felt the need to double check. He had changed into a leather jacket on-top of a grey shirt and bought a bouquet of red Zinnias. Chan walked through the unlocked front door, he'd warned you about being more careful later. He looked around in the dark bakery, the only light coming from the streetlights and the light he could now see spilling from the back. Taking a deep breath, Chan tapped the bell on the counter separating the two areas.

You looked up at the sound of the bell ringing. From your spot, you could see Chan waiting which caused your nerves to rise in anticipation. You hadn't expected from him to show up, especially unannounced and at this time. Rushing to your recipe book, you took out the pressed flower and then grabbed the last order. You clipped the flower onto the bag with the item sheet. Giddiness was running through you as you walked to the front counter, but you tried acting nonchalant to the male there. You placed the bag down before pushing it in his direction. Your heart was beating wildly and you hoped he understood what you were trying to convey. Rustling from his side made you look up, only to be met with a face full of flowers.

"I don't want to wait anymore. Would you date me?" Chan said, putting the flowers down just enough for you to make eye contact with him. You nodded as a laugh spilled out of your lips and watched as a smile grew on his face. Not caring for the counter in between the two of you, Chan embraced you as close as he could. There was no need for the either of you to worry about your relationship, someone just need to make a move.

gojo in jjk0 caught geto dying in the back alleyway, and wanted to talk with him before he died. "Until the end, until this pool of blood" , and we didnt get to see too much of what they said, but it was heavily hinted that gojo said a few final words to geto as he kneeled down, "I'm trying, I'm trying / To let you know how much you mean to me" which is important because before gojo goes on about how "love is the most twisted curse of them all", and geto's final words were, "atleast curse me a little in the end."

shibuya arc perfectly takes the lyrics "we'll show them how much we mean" where gojo comes face to face with geto's body -- taken over by kenjaku, and then geto (kenjaku) became the bullet that assisted gojo's death.

yet even after everything, once gojo died his body was TAKEN OVER and USED. and he himself became the bullet that he feared. "all we are is bullets, i mean this"

BUT, gojo and geto were both killed on the same day, (12/24) also the most romantic day of the year, but most importantly they died feeling HUMAN. "our phantoms forever … / we're burning forever and ever / know how much i want to show you / you're the only one / like a bed of roses / there's a dozen reasons in this gun." , the gun being jujutsu society.

small headcanons about the Marley warriors, who are stuck in a uni dorm for the Christmas holidays

Zeke

He is the only senior still living in the dorm (has problems with relatives, doesn't want to spend the money that he earned on renting an apartment, which in any case will be too far from the place of study)

He hangs out with the younger ones because he shares a room with Colt, and Colt has a lot of friends

Doesn't pay attention to the change of seasons, holidays and everything else, because he is studying

He only finds out about Christmas when Colt starts decorating the room and brings a bunch of wrapping paper for gifts

Not enthusiastic about decorations, but doesn't talk about it

He doesn't care at all

On the day of the holiday, Colt asks him to secretly bring alcohol for their gatherings, Zeke refuses for a long time, but then agrees

He drinks most of what he brought

Doesn't give a damn about gifts, but he has a couple of them for Colt (and he also sent a postcard to his brother in hope that it would arrive on time and not get lost)

As a child, he did not have a holiday, so he is interested in listening to how others celebrated and how it happens in general

Christmas is his favorite holiday, he doesn't wait for his own birthday the way he waits for Christmas

Will take off all Halloween decorations on November 1 and run to get Christmas decorations

He has a lot, no, you don't understand, A LOT of traditions, all of which he will observe for the rest of his life (if something goes wrong, he gets upset almost to tears)

He would have preferred to celebrate Christmas with family, but due to the workload of studies, he preferred to stay in the dorm

The only one in the room is responsible for the spirit of the holiday: his side from ceiling to floor is hung with garlands, tinsel, snow globes and other decorations are on the shelves, he fights to hang a couple of light bulbs on Zeke's side and is happy at least for this

Buys gifts in advance

For him each gift is not useless, it's a really important thing

He has a thousand New Year's sweaters, no less

He will demand to put up a Christmas tree a few weeks before the holiday

Responsible for the table setting (burned a couple of dishes, he was no longer allowed to the kitchen)

He knows all the Christmas songs, really EVERY

Spends the evening of the holiday talking to the family on the phone

He tries not to drink alcohol too much in order to remember everything, but in the end he turns out to be the first of those who passes out right at the table

In the morning, he will whine that he does not remember the reaction of others to gifts

He would have preferred to spend the holiday only with Pieck and Marcel, but Colt persuaded them to celebrate together

He doesn't really care, but the Christmas spirit quickly captures him

He will be in the kitchen all day helping with the dishes

Can't stand Christmas music, asks to put something from Christmas movies on the background

Periodically freezes with something in his hands, distracted by the movie (he has seen it a thousand times, and what is interesting anyway)

Will only pretend that he is not happy with the Gryffindor scarf that Pieck gave him (he has dreamed of it since elementary school)

They fight with Marcel because of the location of the dishes on the table. Colt changes everything. The two of them are already swearing at Colt.

And then they sit in an embrace for half the evening, because they are tired, they have been working all day and "I'm sorry, I went too far"

These hugs don't mean that they won't go into the night to fight with snowballs

Porco helps Colt decorate the lobby when he has a free minute

It's just scary for him to watch Colt dangle on a rickety chair in an attempt to hook a lights

He has prepared a big gift for Pieck and very nervous about her reaction

He bought a lot of little things for the rest. But thought about Marcel for a long time, as a result, a couple of weeks before the holiday, he just asked him what he wanted

He doesn't really like surprises, so he left a link to the vishlist on social networks

Drinks little, but eats a lot ("we cooked in vain or something")

After the holidays, he promises that he will no longer spend so much time cooking (this will happen again)

Pieck

She does cooking because it calms her down (she doesn't want to listen to swearing in the hall because of the Christmas tree)

As a result, Porco and Marcel come to kitchen first, and then the others pull up

She doesn't like the hype around the holiday, even more she doesn't like the whole farce that the dorm is turning into

In her room there is one garland and a stack of neatly packed gifts for the guys

Likes to get books as a gift, always asks to sign them

Falls asleep several times during the day, because a week before the holiday she added up her uni debts

Porco and Marcel take turns carrying her from the kitchen to her room to rest

As a result, after the holiday, she stays awake the longest, pulls guys into rooms and curses endlessly

Never asks for help with cooking or anything else

The guys help her themselves (she is the only girl among them, even with her fighting character, they appreciate her too much)

Knows the secret preferences of everyone, gives gifts with a double bottom (tears in Porco's eyes because of the scarf was noticed only by her, it was a small victory)

Of all the decorations she likes the most are garlands, she freezes in front of every showcase on which they hang, and looks at them for a long time

She has lots of garland photos on her phone

“The best Christmas movie?” “The nightmare before Christmas, of course”

Texts with her father about everything in the world a couple of hours before Christmas, shares her dreams with him

She has a favorite Christmas story that she was told as a child and that she likes to retell

Her signature dish is gingerbread men, she decorates each of them so that they look like Reiner, Bert, Porco, Marcel and Colt

FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE LIKES SEASON 4 I FEEL LIKE EVERYONE I KNOW DOESN'T LIKE IT. It's my favorite season!!

Also the first movie villain is like a whole thing... I still liked the movie but the plot was a bit messy. I would say Heroes rising and world heroes mission are the best plot wise.

Flect is such an interesting villain... also, the whole Humarise organization can be a great commentary on cults on how they'll pray on people who have nothing left, and use their ideals as an excuse to do horrible things.

The scene where Beros, the arrow girl, jumped out of the plane was chilling. And I'm surprised no one talks about it. Someone taking their life on screen in mha was insane...

Do u think we'll actually see Lou in the season 8 premiere of 911? I have a bad feeling Tommy will just be mentioned a few times and we won't actually SEE Tommy onscreen for quite a few eps. Actually I wouldn't b surprised if Tommy isn't even mentioned at all in the first ep.

Although since the 2nd ep has something to do with Boeing (planes etc) that would give them a good place to bring Lou in but I wouldn't b surprised if Tommy is just talked about in thst ep. Ugh I hope I'm sooo incredibly wrong!

i think we will see him, if not there’ll be mentions of him. tim mentions him in both interviews we got from him about season 8 and how it leads from where season 7 left off. i am being optimistic about him having a big role of the 8x02 and 8x03 parts of the 3 episode premiere, but it is very plausible considering the ‘airport 1975’ movie is what tim is using for inspiration. but it seems like he’s there because he’s part of of the 217 and that’s at the big rescue with the 118 and other firetrucks.

i doubt he’s in the trailer too, though one can hope.

I've watched the Halbrand/Sauron video now from Fellowship of Fans (there's an article about all the rumors/spoilers now too on their site too if you want to read instead) and I'm really excited!!! :D Going to post this behind a cut but seems to fit with other spoilers we've been given and sightings of Charlie last fall with fans and at that GQ event with Maxim. Also they posted new drone pics of one of the sets too which also might be connected to him and I've included in this post.

To start with they said there are going to be two versions of Sauron this season and this isn't counting the possible Mairon flashbacks Charlie talked about as it's pertaining to the present day storyline for s2. They're likely thinking this is some form of the Annatar storyline and I have to agree since we're getting Narvi and Celebrimbor working together and the forging of the Doors of Durin and the rest of the Rings of Power. They don't know if Annatar will be another actor but it's also likely Charlie will also play Annatar in wigs & prosthetics. They hired the head of prosthetics from "Stranger Things" and "Game of Thrones" and since Charlie has been cleanshaven both times he was spotted in the UK last fall it's leaning more towards this as it's easier to apply prosthetics to a clean shaven face, and Annatar was in the form of an elf so fits that too besides the Mairon flashbacks. It's also a good bet Charlie is playing this 2nd form too as he's still a series regular and all the new cast were confirmed by Amazon to be recurring. And from watching Charlie's other movies and shows so far he looks totally different in each one this likely will be easy to do.

2. The second piece of scoops was that Charlie and Sam Hazeldine, who is now playing Adar filmed scenes together last fall. We know Adar knew Sauron in another form but it also looks like most of their scenes will be him and Charlie either as Halbrand or Annatar. My guess is we'll another actor in flashbacks and to likely show Sauron shapeshifting but it'll go back to Charlie. Plus too much switching of actors is normally too hard for most TV show and movie audiences to process. LOL So like Tom Hiddleston and other shapeshifting actors it'll likely stay Charlie for the rest of the series.

3. There was also scenes Charlie filmed as Halbrand but badly injured that is supposed to be early in the season. FOF seem to think it might be flashbacks to when Adar "killed" him and he reformed, which supports the theory that Halbrand is Mairon and his base/original form he defaults to after he gets seriously injured/dies.

4. Then the drone shots were of the elven city set that included the Fëanor statue and now the set has been made to look like it was destroyed by fire and a battle. It was already confirmed by the writers we're getting a 2 episode battle likely to end the season and FOF and others think it is the destruction of Eregion, which would also end the Annatar storyline too.

So now wondering if Charlie is also playing Annatar will Galadriel realize it's him? Will the other elfs like Celebrimbor? I'm curious how this is going to play out though I know from the books but how it will on-screen. Then him giving out the rings to the dwarfs and the men either this season or in season 3. Really excited for it and even more so as it seems like it's a safe bet Charlie is playing the 3 main forms of Sauron.

i tried to figure out why i felt so low recently in terms of posting on here. i thought it had something to do with work. and then maybe it had something to do with me being jealous of big fandoms...but nope. it had nothing to do with work, and i was not jealous of big fandoms. i'm terrified of them...

it all started with the increasing discussion of the casting of season 2 three body and the three body movie recently...a lot of actors who have big and active fan bases are recommended by their fans...and it leads to problems.

the general consensus of the existing three body fandom is that we don't want anyone whose fanbase behaves like a toxic traffic star's fanbase to play a lead character in three body. it will ruin the show and the fandom. it's already ruining it since some of these fans who have never read the novels or watched the show actually start to talk shit about three body season 1, the novels, and liu cixin. i bet they'll talk more shit about it if their fave is not picked. it fucking annoyed me so much.

because of the success of season 1, three body now can be such an important project in both the film and tv industry. do you know how hard to even find a director for season 1? the production team actually went to several directors that were more famous than yang lei, and none of them had the guts to take the job because they knew how badly it would affect their career if they failed. do you know how much skepticism the four lead actors faced before the show aired. all of them knew the consequences of the show failing. the season 1 cast and crew are risk takers and pioneers. i don't want some already famous actor with a toxic fanbase get the easy ride to even more fame and attention in season 2. i don't want to open up the possibility of their fans bullying yhw for any reasons (eg. how wang yang was bullied last summer because a 2nd male lead cannot be nominated for best lead actor, right?).

"luo ji should be played by the kind of actor that is not known by the general public...the actors who are recommended by their fans are not suitable for this role". i'm very glad to see 2.5k people on douban agreeing with this.

i also don't want anyone with a mildly big fanbase on tumblr to play any main roles in season 2 or the movie for the same reasons. i don't trust the big cdrama fandoms with three body to be honest. i know the international fans are usually less toxic than cfandom fans, but i just don't trust them. i think in cfandoms, if this actor does a bad job, the general public will still complain about it, but the intl fandom is really less critical about an actor's acting skill (because i see a lot of shows with really bad acting being popular on here lol). i'm selfish, and i actually want to have the peace and quiet that comes with 20-50 notes...and i'm very afraid of losing it.

please yang lei and zhang yimo, don't go with the popular votes. please don't. it's time to find some new blood. it's time to lift some young actor with no background but good acting skill! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! I'M BEGGING YOU. don't let the false social media popularity blind you. this is three body we are talking about, not some romance web novel.

I think most of us are familiar with the Goosebumps book series by R.L. Stine.

And I like to think a good majority of us remember the 1995 TV series for kids and the two movies with Jack Black. (It's okay if you don't remember the movies, especially the 2nd one)

You guys remember Disney+ has their own Goosebumps series? Has only 10 episodes and they were talking about doing a season 2, though I'm not sure if they'll actually do it.

Say what you will about the show, but it did get me thinking.

I thought of writing my own Goosebumps fan series in a similar format as the 2023 show, whereas the 1995 show was an anthology series like the books, the 2023 show had an overarching story. Each episode would be based on one of the books from the series while connecting to one larger story.

I thought of doing something like that, writing my 'season 2', if you want to call it that, but it wouldn't really connect to that show, there would be different main characters, a different storyline, and take place in a different town. There would be an overarching story, and each 'episode' would be based on a goosebumps book. And of course, I would try to include twists and turns that would honor the Goosebumps legacy. Never written horror before, but it would be fun to give it a try.

Here's a brief idea if you want one:

A young girl and her family move to a new town, and she quickly discovers something supernatural is going on in town but has trouble getting anyone to believe her. So, she's on her own as she investigates the town and tries to discover the source of all the strange things going on.

It wouldn't be completely like the books, but c'mon the 2023 didn't do that and even the 1995 show took liberties.

I might give it a try this October, not sure though. We'll see.

Hello honeys :3 This is technically being written on the 30th, but it's about the 29th so that's what the date will be! We had an okay day today. We woke up when we wanted to, thankfully! Even though we were very grumpy. For lunch, we had these weird bell pepper meat wrap things... They were okay, not a favorite. I think we had something else alongside it, but I don't remember what. I think it was sauteed vegetables. After lunch we finished the race we started, and we weren't really happy about it, especially Jonah. Today's been kind of rough alltogether. Thank you for pointing out while we were on call that we haven't had our meds in awhile, that was a really good explanation as to why we've been feeling so weird and has helped us kind of. Calm down and rationalize. Anyways, Fernando Alonso came in 1st, then Sebastian Vettel, then Jenson Button. They also changed up the way they do the after the race interview, which has also thrown us off a bit because there isn't as much discussion about the race afterwards, it feels very rushed. I prefer the longer after race interviews. But anyways, Sebastian ended up getting a penalty and losing his 2nd place position, moving down to 4th which made us really sad :( We already know he wins the championship for the 2012 season, so that's at least a little reprieve from that. Then after that, there was more talk about THAT server, and it's honestly made us kind of sad because everyone else gets to be in it except for us. Then we went to friend house! It was pretty good, very low-key. We pretty much just did separate things together, but it was good for the both of us. We got to have some Mac and cheese and a salad and some ice cream which was very delightful :3 Then we came home, had a pork chop and then wrote the rp post and then we called! I'm sorry that we've been so highstrung. We don't want to stress you guys out at all. We're just feeling really scared about life, emotions, disociation, pretty much everything... We hate being scared, and we're trying not to bottle it up. We're terrified of being bad. We're so appreciative of you all and how you've been meeting us with nothing but kindness, gentleness, and reassurance. We're working so hard to be the best version of ourselves so that we can be the absolute best for you guys. Your patience and love means the world to us. So now that I've actually watched 10 anime I wanted to rank them from best to worst

1. MSG: the Witch from Mercury; I have not seen any other Gundam show but I don't think this one is leaving #1 spot ever, and Bandai were cowards and homophobic for not showing us either a kiss or the wedding even though they got married, also I'm so mad that I episode 11 during the hug they didn't even say "I love you". The robots became the least interesting part of the robot show (8th I watched)

2. Bocchi the Rock!; probably what I want most anime to be, can't wait for the movie('s), this, G-Witch and Your Name might as well both be #1, also I want a cute Bocchi plush but I can't find one that's affordable without a high delivery :< (7th I watched)

3. Your Name; A movie that I found on a trans subreddit about a year ago, I didn't think it'd be as good as it was or that it'd affect me as much as it did, but I was left in tears when the credits came on, the story went somewhere completely than I thought it would, 10/10. also tied for first place, it deserves to be watched in a movie theater so much (10th I watched)

4. Cowboy Bebop; twink and his bear friend go on space adventures oh and the twink has his own shadow the hedgehog (6th one I watched)

5. BNA: Brand New Animal; the one of 2 studio Trigger show I've seen but from what I've read and heard they have a pretty mid reputation, I really liked it tho, I watched it around the time I came out and it's a pretty good trans allegory (still feel a tad weird about the ending) (4th one I watched)

6. Neon Genesis Evangelion (and the 1st movie); (don't)Get in the robot Shinji, I had been interested in it a bunch, big robots and all that, but only just got to it. The self perpetuating loop of abuse and trauma that Shinji and everyone gets put through because Genduo can't get over the death of his wife is horrible and I can't think of a more despicable antagonist than him, the movie was so fucked up. I still struggle to get what Seele was supposed to represent. I loved every scene where the Eva's get shown as demons, those looked real cool (9th I watched) (watched it entirely cuz of Signalis)

7. Cyberpunk Edgerunners; watched this before I played the game, the abuse that David went through combined with the end that I miss interpreted put me a bit off and I missed the point, but I got it after a rewatch (3rd one I watched)

8. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure; now that I've grown as a person I can safely say that it deserved to drift from spot 1, part 4 is still my fave. And it's still really really good in spite of how low it is (1st I watched)

9. Guilty Gear Xrd & Strive story mode; I am both counting and lumping them together, I liked the oversized Smurf with a gun, also Elphelt bby girl, still would've preferred an actual game tho(5th one I watched)

100000000000. Future Diary; I've watch this in a trade to get someone else to watch JoJo's, they came out better off with that deal, I am also no longer friends with that person (not because of the show but it's funny to mention) (2nd I watched) I still think it's missing some zeros, just add however many you believe it needs

Honorable mentions:

- Signalis; I know it's not an anime but it's anime adjacent and it's the best story I've ever played through, I don't even like horror games or gore at all that much but I will 100% this game and get all the endings, I wish I could talk about it more but spoiling ANYTHING about it feels wrong and making posts where half the words are censored just so fans get it isn't gonna work

- Pokemon; I loved the XYZ and B&W runs but I haven't watched it all and only remember catching it on TV

-Scott Pilgrim takes off, I watched the first few episodes, I don't particularly care for it, but it looks pretty good

Dishonorable mentions:

- Attack on Titan; I've had a run in with the series back when season 1 came out, back when I thought gore was cool, now I have negative interest in the series, I literally couldn't care less and I'm only putting it here to be fair

Conclusion:

After the Witch from Mercury and Evangelion, I don't care for big robots as much as I used to.

First off I think you both would be total opposites. He's kind of a hothead, the rebellious one out of his siblings and you're just really sweet, playfully, and have a big heart.

That's what attracted him to you. You always went out of your way to be nice to him dispite you being really shy around new people.

You guys met during your 2nd year of film school, you both got a job at a movie/book store. He had already been working there a couple of months before you got hired.

You could tell he wasn't a people person so you didn't force him to talk or interact with you, but you were always nice and helped him out when he needed it.

Once he got you to warm up to him he fell in love with your big heart then found it amusing that you had a twist sence of humor.

He found out quickly you were shy. He just hated everyone equally and you were just too shy to talk to people, so it took him a while for you to have a full conversation with him. He found out if he gets you talking about movies you'd be less shy and more open to have a conversation.

He also goes out of his way to be really nice to you even though he's a complete asshole to others. He also loves to make you laugh.

It'll probably take him a few months into dating for his family to find out you even exist. He doesn't get along with anyone in his family other than Crispin and his mom. He'll also be terrified of them scaring you off. It'll probably be a year before you get to meet them face to face.

He's never been ashamed of you, but he could say he's ashamed of his family's actions and personality. He also knows you're shy and way too nice for your own good, so he doesn't trust them around you.

His mom would probably be the first person to meet you and know about you. He doesn't admit out loud, but he's a mama's boy and he was able to get you guys to meet without anyone else around.

She absolutely loves you even though you're the exact opposite of what she expected Felix to date. She loved the fact you were a little shy but very kind hearted. “she's good for you. You both balance each other out”

His ex-girlfriend Zee was manipulative even if Felix didn't relize it, but it's just the little things that make him relize what a relationship is supposed to be when he's with you. You always put him first, have discussion with him instead of fighting like Zee would with him.

Zee also didn't really care about his well-being or his mental health. You learn all his little ticks and his Body language quickly. If he's uncomfortable you'll hold his hand or ask him if he wants to leave. He didn't know how to take all the affection at first because he didn't experience any of that with Zee.

You basically have the 'I don't know what love feels like' and 'well, let me show you' thing going on.

I think all the in-laws would just hit it off immediately. You, Erin, and Tariq would become closer than the actual siblings are. You and Tariq bond over films and stuff since he's a film maker and you're going to film school to be a script writer.

You and Drake don't get along at all. You're a very kind and gentle person and Drake always pokes fun at you and sees how far he can push you. It pissises Filex to no end and he doesn't let anything Drake says slide. “Apologize to my girlfriend, or I’ll rip your tongue out and make you eat it…”

He's very protective and loving towrds you. If you're walking around somewhere together he's holding your hand the whole time. He makes sure to sleep on the side of the bed closest to the door and he's not afraid to defend you from his siblings.

Like I said he's very loving, which would be a suprise to some people. He always wants to hug you and kiss you, he's touch starved and doesn't like much space between the two of you.

I think Felix's mom would secretly favor you and Erin the most. Felix and Crispin are secretly mama's boys, Felix is more willing to admit(to you only). I think it would really piss Kelly off, you and Erin are both down to earth people and kind hearted and Felix's mom just really loves that about the two of you.

Felix's mom would also always encourage Felix to propose to you and even wanting to help pay for a ring if you and Felix have money problems.

You guys are always playful around each other, Felix would rather do it behind closed doors but if you start messing with him when family is present he'll play along.
