And personally I feel like that's a bit of a recurring thing with his wishes too, like he knows he's got the power to get the things he wants, but as insufferable as he is sometimes he may have been conditioned out of "being a problem" via "overly specific" requests.

Kind of like Cookie's "wish granting" style, he gets "the best" (read: most expensive) thing and then expected to shut up and stay out of the way

With what I've written so far, I kept the time period vague, but I've been toying with the idea of setting it during the collapse of mob (late 70s, 80s, early 90s) because I kinda LOVE the idea of Price coming to his girl and quietly fretting about the RICO act. And her getting embroiled with the FBI. Wire tapping. Espionage. Distrust.

It'll be very dark. Very brutal. Violent. Lots of mutual manipulation. Sex. You're very much the lone survivor of a ship wreck in the middle of the ocean just trying to stay afloat. And John is not nice man, despite how generous he seems at first.
