Thinking about how someone might build a portal replica from gravity falls. And also the math ((and money)) that would go into it. Yeesh
#guys when I finally get a house for myself (never) we're 100% (my plan) going to dedicate a room to gravity falls#just full on replica of something#but anyway portal stuff#like. basement aside#thats a big ass triangle#with a circle thats also a spinning wheel#the spinning wheel has light up components as well as the edge of the triangle#and the center of the circle (which is also big so more expenses) which could be like plexiglass+LEDs to make the portal “activate”??#but then also that wouldnt as good as it could#and then the circle things up front#you could install lasers in the holes I guess but the center idk#maybe a thin cylander of *insert clear material* powerful white lights and a fog machine to disperse the light kinda how it is in the show??#the frame could be made of wood with thin flat sheets if money's an issue or actual metal which would be more show accurate#I'm just dumping thoughts here honestly theres so much to make it look show accurate#it would be so fuckin sick to have it but the money!!! augh!! what a fun (ish)(in writing) super long term project#thats probably never going to happen#-Hannah
