The original winner of my DTIYS was @robeau , but being the super nice awesome artist (you should check out both of them btw) they gave their reward away! A bit of backstory to her

Her name is Coco, she is a very cartoonish character and has all the logics of a toon or whatever but in anime style, she can pull anything and everything from her non-existent pockets and is basically indestructible

She is also 9, doesn't matter of her "show" has been going on for years it doesn't make her any less of a child

I first draw her when I still used my small ass phone and drew with my FUCKING FINGERS I domt know know to frucking draw a stick with my fingers now a day 😭😭 I just wanna go back to my 2018 self and ask "HOW DUH FUQ DID YOU DRAW AND ANIMATE WITH YO FINGERS!!??!" (Yes I also did animation at some point with my fingers jskfka)

Anyways yeah 3 years improvement be looking great 👍

You truly blew me away with the sheer detail in your submission! The extreme perspective, the pose, the composition, the subtle but tactical bg choice, your own little hcs like the dragon tail and horns and cool ass shoes (that I wish I owned ugh)��� it all brings this piece together so well! I can tell you put a ridiculous amount of time and effort into this piece and it is truly deserving of this first place, ultimate funkyness and 10/10 creativity <3

Yeah I chose you as second place, no it’s not because we’re friends but because I genuinely love your submission (ehehe), anyways ur funky perspective and simple but effective bg choice really pulls it all together, I also love the funky strobe lights (?) on the bottom psjdhfhf! You were also one of the only ones to go to the full length of drawing full body, which like, kudos to you because not even I was feeling like doing it xD! Anyways you deffo deserve 2nd place and I can’t wait to draw one of your oc’s (one of the siblings, pls pls plspls PAHSHGDGDV)

Your submission gave me a special unnamable feeling (??) idk something abt the vibe and aura of this drawing just gives me those late night lofi hip-hop synthwave feels, the halftone textures added so much texture to the piece and i love how you played with the general lighting and made it more purple! Your foreshortening is lowkey impressive, to the point where I want to eat your skill /pos! Loved your additions of the devil horn headband and neon streaks in the hair, so cute! Very stable 3rd place <3

These were the most difficult things I’ve ever had to decide between, every single submission did something new and creative with it and if I could, I’d give everyone first place! I chose the winners based on personal taste and the amount of effort put into it, and if you didn’t win, that doesn’t mean you’re not a good artist! I’m so proud and thankful for everyone that joined, you all did incredibly well, and you’re all extremely talented <3

Also this won’t be the last dtiys I do! Hopefully if I ever reach another follower milestone I’ll do another one, maybe I’ll even spice it up a little hehe… So this won’t be your last chance to win a drawing from me c:
