I have more of the assassin/Reaper AU I posted earlier. Still haven't decided on a title yet so I'm open to suggestions!

This is basically an excuse to have mentally unwell married couple Ghoap.

Soap and Simon Riley have been married for a few years now. Simon's retired military (honorably discharged after Roba) and met Soap through a friend he has that is still military. Simon finds work as a butcher, and he's a rather quiet, domestic man. Well, in his marriage he is.

Soap doesn't know he's the notorious Reaper named Ghost. But Soap's not entirely mentally well, so when Ghost does show up after winning the bid to work for them, he's not angry about it being a secret. After all, he understands that isn't something he needed to know about Simon. He still trusted him, he has secrets of his own, it's not a big deal. Besides, he's learned something new about himself with that mask 😉

But Gaz never finds out this is Soap's husband. They just pretend it isn't the truth and go about their mission like it's normal. But Gaz is so protective of his friend, he's not about to let this creepy fuck ruin the man's relationship.

Basically because Gaz instantly clocks something about Ghost and how he acts around/towards Soap, and he knows Soap is a happily married man (Gaz just endured a twenty minute long rant from Soap about how he misses his husband). Gonna use this as an excuse to show off how intelligent and resourceful Gaz is, and how he's loyal to a fault.

I have several interactions bouncing around my head but I'm struggling to get any of this out so I'm gonna leave that in the air and get back to it

I might actually work on this as a genuine fic cause I really like this idea, I just need to not be so brain dead tired 🥲
