I knew my Worldbuilding would lead me to some strange places, but looking up the history of Snooker /Pool / Billiards so I can create an in-universe variant of the games is just odd.
#worldbuilding#writeblr#my writing#writing#writeblr stuff#my worldbuilding#I'm calling it Adrian Rules Snooker or smth like that right now#Specifically I'm referring to a sort of ruleset / style around a competitive version of the sport#two teams of five with players alternating between teams#I'm thinking it'll be started off as an Army-Navy rivalry sport#and slip into the civilian world from there with a few service-era traditions carrying over#Like wearing suits / types of hats or shoes#where one of the team dresses Army style and the other Navy#at least in a subtle way#Gustav might like this sport? At least as an alternative to rugby / cricket#which are also very mucch Service favourites#and both interservice games and popular in the general public
