The pretense for Sir Nighteye's agency being involved in investigating the Shie Hassaikai was stupid. If he had suspicions about their connections to trafficking in quirk erasing bullets or trigger, that would make sense. But at worst what Bubble Girl was describing here was some unauthorized quirk use and potentially some theft. It didn't really justify a full scale investigation.

Also, Bubble Girl's costume aggravates me the most out of all the female character costume designs. How are they not falling out, that isn't how shirts work? Why are most of her vital organs exposed like that? Is she just never out in the field because Sir Nighteye isn't a frontline hero, so her hero costume doesn't really matter?

i am reminded, once again, how anachronistic arthurian legend is. and on one hand, i don't mind it because it's just fantasy; there's dragons and beasts and magic and the stories have been told for a millenia, so of course not everything would make sense.

however,

it becomes an issue to me when the maps made for the legends don't fit in the time period pop culture decides to assign the legends in

#i'm looking at you bbc merlin #all i wanted to know is if i could include some regional folklore in a oneshot and now i've come to the realization that bbc had no fucking #clue where shit was in arthurian legend and what exact time period they were loosely sticking with #their map says the kingdom of caerleon was northwest of camelot but that can't be right because that's the kingdom of gwynedd #and camelot is supposed to be in wales (pretty sure like 98% positive this is true bc they were fighting saxons) so where the fuck is #cear leon if its not gwynedd (it can't be gwynedd because there is no record of being called anything else as far as i'm aware)#the closest i can find to cearleon is caer lerion and that's on the east side of britain next to where merica would be (but historically #there would be no more caer lerion by the time mercia is its own kingdom bc anglo saxons invade and that region becomes east anglia #so like...geographically bbc merlin's camelot map makes no fucking sense (don't even get me started and where the fucking sea of mercedoc #and where the isle of mors or mora is)#but yeah i can handle anachronistic costuming and mixing high medieval with early medieval customs but i draw the line at geography #bbc merlin #i just wanted to include more folklore and now i just wanna wrangle this show by the neck #i love the show tho #arthurian legend #arthurian anachronistic woes of a fic writer

I heard kingdom is releasing a new class called dragon would a cookie who is exclusively dragon be in clouded here

(1) That's funny to me because when I first saw the Pitaya preview I was like "what if they made a new rarity for the dragons in Kingdom" lmao

(2) That's a very debatable question

If they only release the Ovenbreak dragons, then yes they would be included because they already are

If they release a new one though, that's kind of tricky

While the dragons are Legendary in Ovenbreak, they do seem to be their own group separate from the other Legends

Though if a new dragon is released under that rarity, they would probably be a part of that group and therefore technically be Legendary

However because of that, it could be argued that I should add the Ancients for that same reason which I'm not going to

It might depend on how I feel, but there's a chance I won't add new dragons released to Kingdom under the rarity of dragon

If they are planning on releasing more Legends, it might overcrowd this blog if they also want to release new dragons

So TL;DR: I don't know, but it's very unlikely

Messed up that for Pal I'm probably going to have to find a way to temporarily make my hair brown, aka my actual hair color

#like i guess i COULD just go back to brown for a while; i don't exactly have any conventions on the horizon #but i don't know that i want to #also -- fully aware that i'm not sure palamedes' hair is ever actually or explicitly stated to be brown #i've never seen otherwise in art but the book is pretty sparing with details; it could easily be a fanon convergence thing #but for a costume with low recognizability i do sort of want to maximize my chances #pal cosplay tag
