good morning fools of april

Tis 07:15 right now. Feels like this will be a short one, let's see.

I just really wanted to say thank you guys for all your sweet birthday wishes yesterday. I didn't have a lot of time to answer any, but there were some really nice doodles and pictures sent to me thar made me smile every time I opened my phone. It meant a whole lot to me.

I keep my birthdays pretty tame, so I wasn't overloaded with people or anything yesterday, but I went out to eat, went on a hike, and made soft pretzels (: I also feel like an old person because the big gift of the day was a new blender lol. I make a lot of protein smoothies, so now I don't need to use one that's nearly older than me to make them.

It's really weird to me that it's already April now. It barely feels like the year has begun. I forgot how many flowers are all over this yard, they're finally showing their faces. Lots of rhododendrons especially.

What's your guy's favorite season? Since working out more and losing insulation on my body, the cold has bothered me more lately. I still love winter the most, though. A winter wonderland beats out any other view in my opinion, even if I have to double bundle up. Gonna have to wait a few seasons to get back to that now though lmao.
