i would really recommend looking up the antisemitism around court of the owls before you make a talon au. im not going to tell you not to make it or anything i just want to give you a heads up that theres an issue surrounding it in case you didnt know so you can make your own decision based on that

So I tried looking into this but all I could really find on the subject was a tumblr post from a few years back detailing how the court of owls plays into anti semitic troupes which I was kinda already aware of considering all secret organisations unfortunately play into that troupe thanks in large part to nazi propaganda the same way alot of conspiracy theories are also anti semitic due to how they've been used by nazis and white supremacists

And court of owls does play into the troupe - a group of rich elites that control Gotham from the shadows, that activity try to keep Gotham as shite as possible for their own profit and that steal children - but these are also just common troupes when it comes to secret organisations so it raises a good question of if people can ever use a secret shadow organisation without it being anti semitic? As a non Jewish person I really don't feel comfortable commenting but if you are Jewish and have some opinions on the topic would love to hear them
