If this is going to Dave Bautista, make it appeal to Dave Bautista more by having the witness be a butch lesbian. Dave's mom is a lesbian and he's very supportive of the community. Also, we can always use more lesbians who don't die, as well as male-female friendships that don't end in romance. (I would also accept the butch being replaced with a trans man/transmasc and then it does end up being romantic)

(And drag is an artform; butches and trans men/mascs can perform as drag queens if they want, as well as trans women and cishet people. Drag queen-ness is all in the performance of exaggerated femininity; it's not just "cis gay men in dresses," like many people think. I know a lady in her 60s or 70s who's a diva/hyper-queen (female drag queen) who mostly performs as Drag Cher. Last I checked, she actually uses the term faux-queen, but that term has mostly been rejected by the drag community because it implies that they aren't "real" drag queens. But she's a really cool lady. Her house has Halloween witch decor all year long because she loves them, and she's just living her best life)

Help my friend is trying to convince me to start a new action comedy screenplay about a cop going rogue to protect a small-time drug dealer in witness protection and send it to Dave Bautista.
