Trigger Warning for abuse since I am going to be talking about it a lot.

My honest reaction to TSM anon's confessions/posts trying to justify J's treatment of N. (They're so ass)

Ok so uhh... Anyway I'll try to debunk some of the points:

First of all: yes the fuck she is abusive! Search the damn definition on Google or the dictionary, it's exactly what she's doing, like beat for beat.

Let's start with two examples: one from the manor and another from copper-9.

J kicking N in the manor flashback: for context N and V had literally just bumped into each other, made a spark and both were trying to clean up the mess they made, then comes in Ms. Tenth letter of the alphabet with a kick to N's face for like no fucking reason whatsoever.

J stepping on N's chest while he clearly struggles: In the pilot during the scene that introduces the Alphabet squad during J's introduction she has her foot on his chest while saying he's useless, terrible and if she could, she'd kill him herself and N is very clearly struggling to even breath.

Those two very clearly ARE abuse, the second one even has a tinge of verbal abuse!

Ok so TSM tried to justify both these actions by us not knowing the full context.

The context of the kick is that: there is none, that kick was completely unprovoked, so J had absolutely no reason for kicking N aside from him being in her way from the "move it moron" line, and she changes up her attitude completely at Tessa being there, her visor showing those hollow eyes that drones show when worried or scared.

But even if you say "oh but N was in J's way so she kicked him out" but she could have just, you know, MOVED A LITTLE BIT TO THE RIGHT?!?!? And also that does not excuse kicking a person in the face.

Context of the second scene is: THERE IS NONE, ONE AGAIN! The reason that scene exists is to show that A. J is abusive towards N, and B. J is a hypocrite! Let me explain, A is very self explanatory, stepping on someone's chest and verbally abusing them is very clearly well... Abuse and B is to show that even though she calls N useless, N has shown throughout the rest of the series he is a very competent fighter, arguably better than his fellow DDs and also that even though J was pretty much insulting N for being weak, she got killed by a Angsty bisexual 18-year-old with a pen and a Railgun made out of like, scrap.

I don't know how you can genuinely look at those scenes and go "J isn't an abuser" even though yes she fucking is.

Also I dead ass forgot that second post aside from the "why would Cyn put N in the squad if his abuser?" Part, which has a very simple explanation: it wasn't Cyn, it was Mr. Solver of the absolute fabric itself! It used Cyn as a host, Cyn wasn't in control, she prob has been dead for a long ass time.

The solver is sadistic and it likes fucking with the alphabet squad, take V as an example: it allowed V to keep her memories, just to make V's trauma even worse.

The solver thinks it's funny to traumatize people so why wouldn't it think putting a person in the same team as their abuser wouldn't be?

Anyways I've been typing this since 5:30 AM, and now it's 6:50 and I got school so I'll stop here, if you got anything else to add put it in the reblogs ig...

Final note: I haven't been abused myself (not that I remember) so I can't really fully grasp the concept, but still, J's treatment of N is like, the dictionary definition of Abuse, I'm very bad at understanding other people and their emotions and I'm not super great at analysing characters but this shit is so obviously abuse seeing TSM over here trying to say otherwise is giving me a brain aneurysm.

Yes, GG especially is a big coffee lover, and they've both been seen with and talked about coffee quite a bit over the years.

I won't make this a comprehensive account of all the times they've been seen with or talked about coffee, I just don't have time for that, but here are a few examples that come to mind:

Turtles have always loved the moment in the BTS where GG was seen listing off all the things he felt like eating and drinking. Starbucks was one of them (as was Japanese food, which was where they ended up going for the Dragon Boat Festival Dinner Date, that same day). GG and DD were seen on set multiple times with Starbucks coffee (and often tea as well).

When he was with XNINE GG spent a day (30 October 2016) as a barista for a cat cafe, which is adorable and a must-see.

GG posted doodles he did on a Starbucks cup (above).

GG has been photographed many times at the airport with a coffee in his hand (back when airport photos were still allowed).

He single-handedly turned a coffee shop in Shanghai into a tourist attraction by including a shot of him drinking a coffee there (starts at 1:30 in the clip below) in a Xiao Zhan Studio vlog 10 August 2020 (he ordered a flat white). 😅

During the fanmeet for the brand that shall remain nameless, DD talked about how he enjoys drinking coffee when he goes camping.

DDU did an entire episode on coffee that features some hilarious DD moments.

Of course, DD was seen with a cup of coffee during the boat ride for GQ MOTY.

i'll be honest, writing things like this inherently makes me feel like a terrible writer because i obviously didn't *clearly* get my point across and maybe i need to go back and edit the offending chapters, but for now...a note.

you will notice we're keeping a very casual vibe here because i haven't bothered to capitalize anything. we're just friends, having a chat! i'm definitely not wringing my hands and a little bit frustrated because that would be defensive and i do not want to come across as defensive. so here we go, under the cut, so you can avoid spoilers in case you're not caught up:

there have been lots of thoughts and, i think, a bit of confusion over an aspect of the argument between draco and hermione beginning in chapter 28. to the best of my knowledge this stems not from the argument itself — draco telling hermione that pansy (his second ex-wife whom she knows little about) has contacted him and wants to have a chat — but about what happens after.

hermione is overcome with feelings and her first instinct is to get away. i don't want to say she's a runner, because i don't think she is, but i think she's the type of person to need a little bit of time to herself and to her thoughts to understand and come to terms with information that is particularly inflammatory or worrisome. however, as she makes to move away from draco, he essentially refuses her the privacy.

first, i get it. draco comes off looking extremely controlling in this moment. i knew it would be difficult going in to write the scene, but i felt it was important for reasons i will explain.

second, lets talk about the rules.

in chapter five, draco first asks hermione to text him when she's out and let him know where she is and where she's going. it's just a check in text, but it's one of the first rules that they put into place.

in chapter 12, titled manners, draco asks hermione to hold his hand while they're walking outside. the rest of this chapter delves in draco showing her that maybe she's not actually all that ready to dive headfirst into a dd/lg relationship, but that rule still stands.

three, their relationship type. are they in a 24/7 dd/lg relationship? no. does it extend beyond the bedroom? yes. this is not just a sexual thing for them and some of the rules that they both agree to reflects that.

so, what happened? what was i trying to portray?

essentially that you don't get to pick and choose which rules you want to follow when you're in a relationship like this. hermione knows she's not supposed to wander, she knows she's supposed to hold his hand when they're out or, at the very least, stick close to him. argument or not, draco is still responsible for her.

draco gave her another option; he told her that he could take her back to his flat and she could determine from there whether she'd like to be alone. he simply, at the end of the day, asked her to remember their agreed upon rules. when hermione continued to refuse and he could see she wasn't going to do what he asked, he begrudgingly allowed her to separate herself from him as long as he could see her.

however, it was still against the rules and is part of the reason for the punishment in chapter 30.

if draco comes off as controlling, it's because he is. i'm not trying to hide that. i know, hermione knows it, astoria knows, theo knows it. even draco knows it. he has a deep need to control everything around him.

i know this story is not going to be everyone's cup of tea but my real goal here is to look at the nuances in a relationship like this. it's not always sexy or attractive. sometimes it's beyond complicated and it's just the nature of the dynamic. that's what i was trying to show.

i hope this makes sense and answers some of the questions and concerns from those chapters. i will go back and see what i can do about making these things clearer, but hopefully this note helps.

hey............ I KNOW I KNOW!!! i haven't written in like months.. ok like two months, ok like a month- but i have my reasons ok.. i was literally so busy with school and other shit like photoshoot (which i am doing now, freelancing again) but anyways. i don't really want to talk about all of that cause im tired of even THINKING about it -_-

i wanted to just write about how I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN YOU TUMBLR. i am still here ok? i started journaling in my actual journal and it's been nice, i just wanted to write some more person things. (ㅅ´ ˘ `)

ALSO HAPPY LATE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!! ⋆❅*𖢔𐂂꙳ my christmas was so fun! we celebrate on the 24th and wait till midnight to open gifts :33,, this year we played white elephant too and it was really really fun :DD for new years we're all just going to rest up cause my sister, her bf, her friend and i have a flight at like 11am the next day so we have to go to the airport which is a 3 hr car ride at 6am to reach there at 9am -.- it's going to be so exhausting!!

ALSO, please tell me you know what SPSS, i need to tell you how i hate it with a passion - it's slower than a tortoise, and i really don't want to be using it, i'd rather be using excel or sheets but we do have to make do. last time i was sat in class, and it took a fricken hour and a half to load. HOUR AND A HALF. we have a four and half hour class on friday and we have to use SPSS at 8:30 in the morning, so i'm hoping and praying on whatever being there is above that it loads FAST, so i don't just hate it. because it's already crappy as is coming to uni, and then it being for four hours ON A GLITCHY PLATFORM????

Picking Willa out for Tatum was almost too good to be true! Many writers will agree that usually picking out the perfect FC takes time and patience, and somehow, I feel so fortunate to have hit the jackpot with this beauty for my OC.

Those who don't know, Tatum was born from a 'Drunken Drabble'... (a silly prompt game we played a few times last year where you're given a prompt to write while you're drinking). The next day, I realized that I was totally digging this girl, and I wanted to write more of her! And here we are, almost a year later.

When I started looking at FCs, I had a general idea what I was looking for (what I think matches Ethan): blonde*; in her late 30s/early40s; beautiful, but not a cookie-cutter model-type; girl boss/tough bitch vibes, but friendly-looking; a modern woman with a slightly modest wardrobe. And FINALLY, does she actually look good with Ethan?

*in my DD, I had already mentioned she was blonde lol

(Eeeee! I'm so glad I saved this! She may kill me ... The friend I mentioned earlier quickly threw this together to see if Gandy and Willa went together, and if I do say so myself... *chef's kiss* I love them...)

She was my first pick, and I became obsessed. From what I can tell, Willa is a little bit different from Tatum, but that's okay! They both give off girl boss energy, and her pictures totally vibe with my idea of Tatum.

Content can be a little tricky. A lot of photos from Willa's younger days are either pixelated or... well, risque (she made it clear: she wanted to be bad... lol). Willa still models some, these days or offers the internet a selfie of her OOTD, but there isn't a huge multitude of usable photos. but I'll make it work,

No David Gandy? Did you just curse at me? 🤣 honestly, I'd probably use Matt Bomer for Rams. I think he's delicious, and he pulls off that intense leader/CEO/prick-look so very well.

This whole thing was bloody gorgeous and I wasn't expecting that ending. I had no clue what ending to expect but that was definitely better than any I could have hoped for. Forest spirit to soulmate your honour!

I was terrified that you were gonna leave it at the point where he loses the spirit and becomes mortal again. If you had I would be actively sobbing!!!! And oh my god, the art!!! I still can't get over how wonderful your style is.

Imma ask fun things because if I don't I'll sit in a puddle of emotion all night:

What's the first tech thing Bad will buy and how annoying will he be about it? Poor Skeppy trying to answer 101 questions about something he doesn't really use XD.

Is no one concerned that the odd couple from a town they never name has a pet wolf??

Do they immediately go over to a different town or do they wander for a while. Find hidden creeks and befriend bears?

Does Bad still have a connection to nature and animals, like are creatures naturally more trusting of him?

Does Skeppy steal? I dunno, he just give off the vibe of a naughty lil trickster who'll pocket something if the owner refuses to sell it him.

Immediately after leaving the forest what the first 'argument' they have (not including the car one)?

Would they ever ride horse? If yes, how terrified would Skeppy be?

Skeppy falls outta tree. I don't know why but my mind keeps telling me that this man has great balance until he climbs trees. They are his mortal enemy and Bad finds this both hilarious and terrifying because he is going to hurt himself.

I had waaaaay more questions than I intended to have. My bad '^_^ but this story was way too much fun to read and you are entirely to blame for making it so engaging!

And I promised a nice ending for the main story, I did, and this one also makes the most sense narratively! For the story I wanted to tell, at least. Bad can’t really become human again, he’s changed to much. He can only move on, and do something with what he is, and has. And he did! :D That’s really nice and inspiring, this story will always have a place in my heart, heheh <3

Being a guardian spirit connected to a person and all, Bad may be not as strong as before, but he can’t die unless Skeppy dies first. And Skeppy can do that, but he’s pretty sturdy, and his lifespan operates on a whole other scale than human ones. And Bad knowing Skeppy’s real name balances it all out, makes them equal in the power and influence they have over each other.

So hellyeah, soulmates for the win :DDD

1) What's the first tech thing Bad will buy and how annoying will he be about it?

Probably a pager! Because it’s a more feasible thing to get than a wholeass computer Bad actually wanted :D An it means Skeppy will have to get one too, and that Bad will be having the time of his life texting him and everyone he can get a number from, even if they’re still in the room with him.

Poor Skeppy indeed, he can learn to appreciate the pagers, and later phones, too, and computers, but he really has 0 idea on how it all works and why Bad is so fascinated by it all.

2) Rat and regular people

Oh, she can shapeshift, just like Bad! If they’re out with people around, she takes form of a puppy, and Bad can pass her off as a weird mix breed rescue doggo.

3) Do they immediately go over to a different town or do they wander for a while?

Oh, since they have no end destination in mind, they can ride around for a bit, go visit some cool places and roadside attractions. Sadly, Skeppy is probably not spiritually or morally ready to full on befriend wild bears yet, and they do need money for gas and snacks. So, at some point they will have to stop somewhere and find work – at least for a bit, to save up. Life’s gonna be a bit complicated with all that, until Skeppy figures out his treasure-finding abilities :DD

4) Bad and nature and animals

He is definitely still in tune with all wildlife! Even more – Bad could become a proper guardian spirit for Skeppy in part because, in a way, Skeppy himself is part of the nature.

So yeah, Bad can understand animals (and plants) and communicate with them; they’re just more free to not take his shit, and Bad’s emotions do not “possess” them unless he makes an effort to do so.

He doesn’t like doing it, tho.

5) Do they ever visit the og town again?

Hm, I think they will completely forget about it for a while, until, like, 30+ years later they will be going somewhere, and find themselves around those parts. And they try to not appear too often in the areas they’ve spent a lot of time in already (they can be pretty recognizable, and also barely show signs of aging). But it’s been a long time, and the town’s really different now… So they make a stop, and spend a day there. They walk the unfamiliar streets between the new buildings, check out the popular hiking trail, the advertisements for hot springs and winter activities. The old cinema is still there, and is hosting an all-night marathon of classic horror movies of the last century.

Bad and Skeppy leave the town after sunset – the day was nice, but they have nothing more to do there. They ride through the forest on a well paved road, with radio playing something barely above the whisper. And in the dark of hot summer night, Bad can see the white stag running between the trees alongside their car. Shadows dance over the shimmering light of it’s fur.

Somewhere after the towns border, the stag disappears back in the forest. But the air in the car stays light and fresh, saving the smell of old pines and dry leaves all though the night.

6) Skeppy and chaos

Well, after the whole mess in the main story, Skeppy definitely learned some lessons, especially about not being a dick :D

But the thing is – he can’t really help the fact that things tend to stir up around him a lot. He naturally brings in chaos into everything, because he is, in part, a personification, or an outlet for it in the world. And so, to feel, well and good, and himself Skeppy gotta do stuff that disrupts balance, and creates some mayhem. And in gave him a lot of trouble in early life, but in the course of the main story he learned that he can chose were he lets that chaos to take hold, learned what can come of that chaos, apart from utter misery.

Like, where it can help dismantle something destructive, and where – bring in the more positive change, that was already brewing, possible, but is stagnant for some reason.

Soooo, I can’t say Skeppy causes only minor chaos in his life, but he sure learns even more about not being a dick :DDDD

7) The studying

I think Bad will want to get a higher education at some point, because he wanted to, and because it’s already new millennia and all that. Bet he’ll go for something very technical and/or literature. Maybe he’ll start by piking up some classes in small time colleges, when they stop in one place for a while, and later get into an online program, because why not.

Skeppy is not a college guy at all. He’ll listen to Bad talk about it, read textbooks if he wants to, can research stuff, buuut going to classes and doing homework is definitely not his thing.

8) Stealing

Well, you’re right, Skeppy can and will steal stuff out of spite! And will be scolded by Bad for it, and will not feel (that) sorry about it. But real stealer between them will be Bad himself :D

It’s just… he has the corvid tendencies, and a hoard (a box) of sentimental mementos from different people and events, and the thrill of stealing something small and harmless is very exciting. Bad is very proud of his little collection. Skeppy finds it very adorable, a bit hypocritical, and kinda creepy. Like, that pretty box he gifted Bad at some point is now full of stuff like:

- pressed flower from the clearing they had a picnic at on their anniversary

- the button the waitress lost that one day the storm caused a black out in the whole town

- some small animal bones

- couple pretty rocks Bad stole from Skeppy’s pockets

- penny that was once glued to the ground

- a handful of teeth people (and not people) lost in fights with Bad

- pen from some fancy hotel

- rainbow dash keychain that belonged to a child

- the list goes on

9) Argument

Oh, that same day they’ll fight over whether they should stay at the really crappy and suspicious looking motel, or go sleep in a perfectly fine forest near the road. Ironically, Bad wanted to try out the motel (because, yay, first time spending the night back in civilization), and Skeppy was the one insisting on sleeping in nature (because the motel looks like it could give you 10 diseases if you even stand near it, and sleeping in the forest is kind of nice, and means they can cuddle).

10) Horses

The guys will probably ride them at some point. Well, Bad will ride, and Skeppy will sit on his horse and hope it knows what to do and where to go, because trying to make this giant thing do something seems dangerous. If they’ll have to actually go somewhere fast, Skeppy will not survive that day, his butt (and legs) will be dead for days to come.

And riding with Bad on one horse may sound romantic and nice, but all romance dies when the gallop starts.

11) Skeppy and climbing

Skeppy is more down to earth kind of guy, more of a “rocks and caves” kind of creature, real-life lizard person or something. Up on the trees and in the air – not really his element, yeah. But it doesn’t mean that Skeppy will accept this fact easy. The embarrassment of never managing to safely make it down a tree is too strong, he just has to do it all over again, and again. And again. Because, clearly, he was distracted this time. And the time before that Bad was teasing him, and it “disrupted his flow”. And, really, maybe these trees here just do not like Skeppy much, and make him slip a lot. Yeah.

So, more often than not, if Skeppy climbs a tree, he will not stop climbing it until he falls, or the tree ends. Bad had to take him off high branches couple times, forcefully, because, of course, Skeppy was sitting there for 2 hours just to properly enjoy the sunset. He can climb down at any point, he just Choses not to. The view is amazing. The bark is literally part of his skin now, not because he holds on tight, no, he’s just Than Much one with the nature )<

我的世界守则 The Rules of My World: An Analysis

I came across this video while browsing Weibo last night. It was taken during Yibo's rehearsal for his 'The Rules of My World' performance. I've listened to the song countless times and I like it, the rhythm and all, and the dance. But as with many rap music, I don't pay attention to the lyrics. I suddenly realised I don't really know what the song is talking about, save for the few phrases that stood out. That sparked my interest and inspired today's post. I had previously done some analysis of Zhan's songs, so it's Yibo's turn.

Disclaimer: I am not a professional translator or lyricist. And obviously I'm not Yibo nor do I know him personally, so I can't say for sure what the song is really about. The following analysis is purely based on my personal interpretation. It has CPN components. Please skip if you don't believe that BJYXSZD.

'The Rules of My World' is the 2nd song that Yibo penned the lyrics to himself. The fact that he wrote the lyrics is significant and makes the song worth analysing. 2019's 'Wu Gan' was more 'inward-looking'; about Yibo expressing his own thoughts on navigating the entertainment industry. To me, 'The Rules of My World' is him making a statement, a stand, at the same time, he's sending a message to those he cares about - GG and his (real) fans. Yibo released this song on 30 Dec 2020. The timing is interesting cos it like he's summing up his sentiments based on the events that took place during the year. To outsiders, 2020 was a good year for Yibo. He had many endorsements, projects, high exposure, his commercial value rose. But in CPN reality, 2020 was terrible for so many reasons. GG's incident, him being overworked, crazy fan wars and antis etc etc..anyone who cares about Yibo would be delusional to think he had it good last year.

This could be a message to fans - to tell them that they don't always have to rush to defend him, and they don't need to retaliate (aka fan wars). It could also be a message to GG, to make a stand of solidarity and to reassure GG that DD will face any challenges alongside him.

It was said that DD matured considerably after the 2*7 incident. Took up more responsibility, became more focused on his career and mindful of future advancements etc. Started to take on more serious acting projects and to shift his career trajectory towards something more sustainable and less 'idol'. The new journey could be a reference to this new path. The fools - the antis, those against GGDD - may have caused damage but their actions have also sparked off DD's desire to do better and to find his footing in the entertainment industry. He now has a clearer view of what he wants, the path he wants to take.

It could also be seen as an advice to his fans - to follow his lead and live their own lives. This is also something that GG has repeatedly said to fans - to focus on their own lives, personal relationships, studies, careers etc. Don't devote so much time on chasing idols, online fan wars etc.

Sophistry: the use of clever but false arguments, especially with the intention of deceiving

Poor DD is always hit with industry rumours, about him dating his co-stars etc. Last year, someone even made a false police report against him. Just look at the number of statements his company had to put out. There have also always been ongoing rumours about rivalry between GGDD, tales of backstabbing etc, especially in 2020 at the height of the incident. DD is saying that this is his life, his world. No one knows better than the both of them. So to those who don't know better but continue to spew nonsense about his life and relationships and spread hate, know that I don't care about your antics, they don't hurt me but I won't tolerate them as well.

Don't try to restrict him, don't quarrel or force him into a certain mould of your preference. He won't hesitate to shoot the haters (monsters) down.

On this new path, with a new-found realisation of what he wants, DD is clear of what he wants to achieve and he is no longer burdened by fear, uncertainties etc. Both GGDD now have each other by their sides, they share a common purpose as they navigate the intricacies of the entertainment industry together and work their way to the top. And I think this is something that we're seeing more in the fandom since end 2020 - GGDD seemingly becoming more bold in their actions and messages they put out (silent or otherwise).

This is a repetition of the earlier verse but what has changed is the last 2 lines. From <It's my world I won't give in>, DD now says <We will never give in>. This was actually the first thing that sparked off my CPN, and hinted to me that this song concerns GG in some ways. Who's We? We all know how GGDD almost always use the word 'we' in their CQL promo interviews and bts, as though they come as a package and all views represent both of them as a entity. This also echoes the earlier sentiments - both of them, after the 2020 incident, have developed a steely resolve. They won't let the antis or challenges or societal views hold them back anymore. Their world, their rules. They will fight for their rights and what they believe in, and they are determined to reach their goals.

Imagine:

You wake up to clattering coming from the kitchen. The bed is - well, safe for the kitten and the puppy nestled against you - empty. August is missing.

You pout a little at that fact. You could use a little more cuddles after your punishment. You need his warmth, his reassurance after how hard he's been on you.

When you sit up, your body aches a little. The slaps against your folds and trying to fent off three orgasms left you a little sore.

At the movements of the bed, your little darlings stir. Cuchillo jumps off the bed immediately, trotting through the door before you have a chance to give him some scritches. Auggie on the other hand jumps into your lap, meowing excitedly.

You gently pick him up and nuzzle your face into his side, humming quietly, before placing a small kiss between his ears. Then you put him down and carefully get out if bed.

You stumble the first steps to your closet, and pull out one of August's old tshirts that you now claimed as your own. Next you get yourself a new pair of panties, baby pink and lacy, just how August likes it, and head over to the kitchen, taking little Auggie with you.

Tiptoeing over to the ajar kitchen door, you planned on surprising August, but the excited bark coming from Coochie blows your cover.

You huff a little, but smile and step into to room, watching as your boyfriend stirs in a pot, a concentrated frown on his face.

You bite your lip watching him. You love watching him cook; every single one if his movements is professionally precise, his perfectionist nature creating culinary artworks, just for the two of you.

"What are you making, daddy?" you speak up after a good minute, not wanting to distract him while doing such a delicate task as stirring béchamel sauce.

"You can't tell?" he answers, giving you a smirk over his shoulder as you sit down at the kitchen table.

"No?" you blink innocently, even though he has his back turned to you again, having to focus on the sauce.

"I'm making your favorite, princess. Wanna help me layering when I'm done with the sauce?"

"Uh-huh," you nod, setting little Auggie down on the floor before grabbing your apron, trying it around you.

You're relieved to see August had already gotten out the pan and preheated the oven, so all you have to do is get the lasagna sheets.

So you start finishing the lasagna. August puts the sauce and you cover it with the noodles, over and over again, until the pan is filled to the brim.

When it comes to strewing the cheese, you just can't help yourself and drop some on the floor - on purpose of course.

In a flash, both Auggie and Coochie are at your feet, happily munching on the little treat.

You go to do it again, but this time, August notices and cocks a brow, clearing his throat. "Princess, don't," he warns once you look up sheepishly, and grasps your hand to lead it over the lasagna. Defeated, you let the cheese fall onto the pan, much to Auggie and Coochie's disappointment.

"I'm sorry," you whisper to your little fur babies, "I'll sneak you some later."

August heard that of course, but chooses ignore it, putting the lasagna into the oven.

"How long?" you chirp, going to set a timer on your phone.

"30 minutes, maybe a little more. Enough time to clean everything and lay the table nicely."

And you do. While August does the dishes, you dry off. While he puts them away, you go and lay the table, all nice with candles and the bouquet of soft pink roses he got you yesterday.

Once everything is done, you sit down and eat with some light conversation about the plan for the next few weeks, that he wants to take you on a short trip, that he gets some time off before his next mission and that he wants to spend that time with you. Only you and your fur babies.

To say you're excited is an understatement. He's been working so hard lately, on both his mission and his job, and he barely found time for you. Having him all to yourself would be heaven.

When you're done eating, he takes your dishes and disappears back into the kitchen, but not before giving you a soft kiss to the forehead, his mustache tickling your skin.

He comes back a moment later and sits back down. Something is off. The man who usually oozes with confidence seems... nervous?

"Princess, I want to ask you something," he says after a moment of consideration. You only nod, slightly taken aback by his change in behaviour. “Auggie and Coochie are like babies to you, aren’t they?”

You’re a little confused, but nod again.

“But they don’t match up to the real thing either.”

“Well... I couldn’t know...” you mumble, “Why are you asking, daddy?”

He smiles at you sheepishly. August Walker smiling sheepishly? You have no idea what to think.

“Because I see the way you look at all the strollers we pass when we’re out. How you’d be all alarmed when you hear a baby crying.”

Nervously, you look at you hands in your lap and bite your lip.

It’s true. You’ve wanted a baby for some time now, but you were too afraid to tell August, not knowing what he’d say. His mission and all...

"Angel, I want to try. I want us to have a baby."
