The world is understandably shocked by this statement seeing how the pop-star is in a one year long relationship with Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc and even wrote an entire album stating her love for him. How to make your own notion script ?

You guys had really cool reaction to my post about my scripts so here is a step by step tutorial to make a script like mine :

1. First step is to find a main color for the aesthetic

I often just pick the color from my aesthetic in my dr (i have no idea if you understand what i mean but be used to my nonsense, this post will be long)

for instance : I'm a goth so I'll choose a goth aesthetic with dark red as a main color

2. Then it's time to pick everything for the aesthetic

An icon for the main page (I often simply use the logo of the place I would like to shift when there's a logo or a symbol)

A cover for the main page

A divider, pretty easy to find, just tap the color you want and "divider" on tumblr and you'll find EVERYTHING (I often, just use line dividers)

Back to icons but now it's for all the pages of the scripts (keep in mind that it will be small, you won't have all the details you see when you find the pic. That's why i usualy choose paterns or simple forms) (or you can just don't upload pics and choose the notions icons)

2 new icons and a divider (we will talk about it later)

TADAAAAMMM you have everything for the aesthetic say goodbye to pinterest for now

3. Clean it, do the basics

Go to the settings in the upper left and put the full width

Also change the police, Sherif is just so pretty

if you want other police for the title you can use this site

-> One for a quote, something you or anyone in your DR would say

-> The second for your safeword and your time ratio (I always color them)

so in the end it must look like this odd thing

empthy and boring let's fix that.

4. Your real script

If you already have a script, you must have everything but here's the pages I usually have

you have penty of pages now.

5. Move everything

pick the first three and put them all next to each other (if you don't know how to move, just point the page you want to move and click to the points next to the +, now you can drag it whereever you want)

drag the callout with your safe word and your time ratio as down as possible

add a gallery view

-> go to the seetings then layout

-> turn down "show database title"

-> at "card preview" pick "page cover"

-> at "card size" pick "small"

put 2 of your pages in your gallery view

remember when i told you to find 2new icons ? put them in cover of the two pages in the gallery view

drag all the others pages right next to the gallery view (except extra, put that down, just on top of your safeword and timeratio

add two notion dividers

-> put it on top of gallery view and the pages next to it and on down of it

add two tumblr dividers

-> put it on top and down of the pages next to gallery view

you should end up with something like that :

the last part is to add a header (or just an icon that you crop) in the middle and TADAAAMMM you have your script !!

Encanto info from Jared Bush's Q&As

This is a little place where you can find (hopefully) a lot of info Jared has said in his Q&As. This is if you wanna check smth and don't wanna go on a hunt to confirm it since it's been so long. Idk if I got everything, I highly doubt I did, so if you have a piece of info I don't have and have a link to it, I can edit it on. Ngl I'm also kinda doing this for myself cuz I was curious to know everything he's told us. I'll mostly summarize the answer so it isn't longer than it needs to be, but I'll also copy+paste if I'm too lazy.

The info here kinda varies from interesting, to obvious stuff, to potentially pointless but really any of it can be used to do whatever.

Some of the answers he provided aren't concrete solid ("I think __ would happen", "I always thought ___", etc), so take this all with a grain of salt. I'll try to phrase the uncertain ones differently so you know they're not 100% (probably, possibly, might, etc). If the answer he gives is completely up to interpretation, then I won't include it. Canon universe:

Dolores never truly believed Bruno was still around. She heard stuff, but everyone told her he was gone, so she thought she was imagining things. "I knew he never left" was her way of saying "I shouldn't have doubted myself."

You knew your boyfriend was someone who was always cracking a joke with friends, but you also knew Park Sunghoon was a jealous person.

Having dated for quite some time, he thought it through and decided to finally introduce you to his group members because they were not only his coworkers but also like a second family to him.

Ofcourse he wanted his the people he spent majority of his time with to like his favourite person.

All that pent up jealousy and possessiveness he felt finally exploded.

"Yah! Are you trying to steal my partner from me? I'm tired of you always trying to take them away!" he quickly stands up as he yelled at Jake pointing an accusing finger at him.

The commotion had woken you up and before you could talk to your boyfriend he left the room to try and calm himself down.

Jake had felt bad for making his best friend feel this way, it obviously wasn't intentional, he just thought you were a great friend he made who he got along well with.

"I'm so sorry Hoonie, you know it was never my intention to make you feel like a third wheel of some sort, you're always my number one." you try your best to reassure him.

As angry as he was, he also knew he was at fault for lashing out on both you and Jake as well as not expressing how left out he felt.

It took alot in him to do it, but Sunghoon put his pride aside and apologised to Jake and ofcourse Jake apologised too, they knew they couldn't stay mad at each other anyway.

All you needed to do to keep your boyfriend happy was to make sure you gave him your undivided attention alot more and ofcourse showering him with all your kisses and compliments did just the trick to see his beautiful smile again.

"Wow, I have the most handsome boyfriend huh?" you tell him trying to fuel his ego as his ears went red and he gave you a kiss on your cheek.

mid week analysis!

so on Monday @magebunkshelf posted an announcement saying that there will be vamp hunt 5 coming this weekend and changed the thumbnails of the current audios in the vamp hunt series to fit the rebrand and so I have decided to analyze these thumbnails because why not? I will also analyze the small sneak peaks that was posted in the server as well but I will put that analysis under a read more. anyways lets get into this!

I shall be using this thumbnail as my example for everything that I want to talk about.

first off this symbol. we know many series will have their own symbol and that this is the vamp hunter's symbol which I love. it looks like a crossbow with a pair of bat wings which I love. first the crossbow part representing our favorite vampire hunter, David since crossbows are commonly depicted as vampire hunting weapons. the bat wings represent Batsy and with the wings combined into the crossbow represent the two sides working together! the reedmace did a great job keeping it symbol yet also showing that they are willing to work together to deal with threats.

second thing that I want to talk about is the background. It still uses the classic mage background but this time in a nice sweet red which I believe corresponds with this series specifically which I'll get into later.

this symbol here tells the viewer that the audio is a part of the Mitch's World universe and there will be symbols for self contained and the plane stories as well. One thing I find interesting is the pattern in the letters with how the connection from the M to the W transitions to white. most likely just a stylistic choice but still interesting to point out.

last thing that I'll talk about before the sneak peeks is that all the current audios with new thumbnails has a some vcr like overlay on it most obvious in this thumbnail.

again, likely another stylistic choice but it makes me wonder if the facility knows about them and if other series' thumbnails will also have it.

these are the 4 spoiler images we got from the discord server (and also obligatory moon sighting!!!1!!) there isn't that much but there is still information to gleam from them and also make theories while we wait. First off I think the one with the moon is possibly the thumbnail of the moon landing audio since it shows the moon and that it is much more glitchy than any of the other sneak peaks.

the other three are most likely from different series and I think I may be able to guess which ones just by the colors and the last image, the text.

Image one, I have no idea. possibly moth audio since in the mage wiki page on the series in Mitch's world, each multipart series has a color attached to it with the moth listener having the lightest color among all of them as seen in the image below

there's also some weight in this theory since the vamp hunter audios are red in both the thumbnail and in this list. now, what the symbol is? no idea, we'll find out this weekend.

image 3? it's Mitch's series partially because of the color list theory and that the symbol of what we can see looks like a raccoon.

pic 4 I believe is the merfolk listener audio since even though there isn't a color associated with it, the visible are and the light blue coloring makes me believe that is the thumbnail for that audio. anyways, time to wait for the weekend to come for me to do more analysis. good night everyone!

I'll link to the post here. (btw any annoyance that might seep into my tone in my recent answers is NOT directed at the actual people asking... y'all are lovely). So that post is done in a very similar tone to the Ryden primers that the pre-split fandom posted, but I'm getting the sense that this is very very different... like that person seems to actually believe the content that they're posting is straight up facts (and even if they don't, the fact that you're referring to it as "infamous" probably implies that other people are at least treating it as real facts, so I'm still going to address it like the tone is serious). Here's an explanation of how the majority of the fandom used to view Ryden.

Ryan’s lj post on 9/27/05 was about the release of AFYCSO that day. He talked a lot in interviews that season about how it was weird for him to see so many fans singing his lyrics back to him.

uhh most of the pictures that this person lists "from this era" of 2004/2005 are actually from 2006. so they definitely know what they're talking about here lol.

they list one of Ryan's livejournal posts and then say "I'm not sure of the exact date, but I know it was some time in 06." It was from June 24, 2006.

the VMA performance just seemed like Ryan was still using Brendon as a safe space to look at so he wouldn't stare at his feet or guitar, but that is still very much something you could turn into a Ryden thing so carry on haha.

omg Ryan's tattoos are not about Brendon. Those are Tom Waits lyrics. Ryan was good friends with Thomas Dutton. About a year before getting the tattoos, Ryan was hanging out with him on tour in the UK and later told Kerrang that “a friend of mine in Forgive Durden turned me on to Tom Waits when we were in the UK… I’ve been listening to him ever since. His voice is so rough and dark. I’d never really heard anything like that.”

the sharing beds idea was misunderstood in the Billboard interview... all 4 guys slept on bunkbeds in the same room when they were recording AFYCSO. That's what Brendon's referring to.

re: the Bishop Gorman tshirt… Ryan was hardly that size in high school. But Brent went to Bishop Gorman too (and so did Paulina, who was also friends with Brendon). Brendon did borrow some of Brent’s stuff in 2004/2005 (like money for food while they were first touring). Just saying… it's def interesting, but it’s not an automatic Ryden connection.

i have come to make camilo sesto justice

(i finally finished this post yay!)

i may be a bit biased, since this was my first jcs.

short story on how i discovered it

my dad used to be an apostle for a bootleg staged playback jcs in peru during the 70s! they used this version.

he had the cd. he also had the mp3 files. i used his computer, so that was how 13 year old me found it.

those were tough times, bc later i started doing catechesis and i kind of got depressed and started questioning my faith lol. judas' character really resonated with me

since this is a recording, i didn't have any footage to reference, so i made up everything in my mind. (this is why it was a bit weird for me to see the english productions, bc they looked nothing like in my head lol)

now, a bit of historical context for spain in the 70's

camilo sesto was a popular spanish singer and actor who went to see the jcs 1971 broadway production in london. he loved it so much that he did everything he could do financially to bring the show to spain.

spain was in a fascist dictatorship at the time

they fought with censorship for years, that's why the lyrics are a bit different (i'll make a post about that too)

they had to remodel the alcalá-palace theater stage entirely

franco (our dictator) died two days after the premiere (about time lol)

the "ultras" (conservatists) didn't like the show so they did lots of crazy stuff (for example, praying for the cast outside the theater or sending BOMB THREATHS?)

anyways, this was the first official translation for jcs!

on the main cast we have

it's a stereo recording, so use both headphones or you'll miss out on half of it

musically speaking, it's similar to the og concept album (songs ending on fade-outs and shorter trial before pilate) but it has some interesting choices (teddy, the producer and the voice of judas, took a lot of... artistic liberties)

some things this version has

it adds lots of synth. it's very psychodelic. i understand this can be a turn off for some people

they kinda change the key to many songs. maybe to fit vocal ranges idk

teddy just loves to make up new melodies (please give this man some water)

jesus and judas have this interesting accent difference. since camilo is from valencia, he has this pristine and traditional spanish accent. and teddy is from canarias (also lived in the usa) so his accent is rougher and more, crusty? idk how to explain it but it's neat and stablishes their dynamic a bit. (ángela is from dominican republic! but her accent is barely noticeable)

on the footage aspect, we only have old vhs videos and live audios uploaded on youtube. also some old photos

there is a book about this version. it has some anecdotes (only available in spanish)

now we have a 4 episode mini-series about the odyssey that it was to produce this. it's called "camilo superstar" (i won't be watching it bc it's a bit fan-ficy from what i've seen)

Flash Gordon & the Sci-Fi of Almost a Century Ago!

I've got a interest in old scifi. That's not strange, plenty of people do, though what interests me most might be slightly more unusual.

I'm interested in the good ideas and the bad, at the same time. Now, it's no surprise that old scifi has it's issues, literally everything does, but the common treatment of women, race, politics... well we'll see soon.

Despite all that I like looking back at old stuff to try and pic the good out of the bad, to see what were genuinely the revolutionary ideas while not ignoring the real issues.

I also happen to run a weekly watch party in the RPPR discord and this week were starting the 1980 Flash Gordon movie, so I thought, why not go back and read the original comic strip, starting at the beginning way back in the 30's?

And on a Sunday no less

So, Flash Gordon. Without doing a whole biography, here are some basic details

The first strip came out on January 7, 1934, though given it was in the big Sunday papers, strip is less appropriate, more of a comic block really, full colour to

It was explicitly made as a... should I say knock off? of Buck Rogers, made more than 5 years earlier (Will probably read Buck Rogers sometime to)

According to Wikipedia, they tried to get the license to make their comic a John Carter adaptation, but when negotiations fell through, Flash was born (hey, just like Star Wars 50 years later)

Apparently early Flash was also inspired by the 1933 novel When Worlds Collide, which I have some experience with, will be interesting to see how

Ok, let's get started. I have no idea if these comics are in the public domain yet so I won't be posting the whole things, just individual panels here and there

Polo, really? Polo?! Can you get more poncy?

Starting off, we hit the ground running. In only 7 panels we learn a rogue planet is flying toward Earth (and this World will Collide with it), apparently there is a lone scientist is driving himself mad working on a solution, and our two main characters are introduced and swiftly put in peril as a meteor from the approaching planet just so happens to destroy their planet.

There's not much SciFi yet, besides the approaching planet. I feel like rogue planets are a trope that used to be more common, though I can't be sure. Apparently the first exoplanet evidence was found in 1917 but one wasn't confirmed until 1992, so it makes sense that writers would be theorizing about them.

On the less good side, the second and third panels are used to show how "primitive" peoples are helpless before the approach of the planet, and can do nothing besides turn to superstition. It will be interesting to see how non-white characters are portrayed as the comic goes on, though I'll be surprised if it can, well surprise me before we get to a more modern take.

I mean, Flash isn't wrong, but good lord what's wrong with your legs man?!

In the second half, we get a look at Flash's abilities. A meteor knocks a wing of the plane he was in clean off and somehow he manages to both put on a parachute, grab Dale (was Dale a common woman's name back then? I don't know) and jump clear of the tailspin. Effortless for a Capable Man™, the pilot and any other crew are just out of luck I guess though.

Quite economical storytelling that a meteor from the approaching planet (Which somehow got way, way out in front of it) would knock them down right in time to land in front of the lab of the only scientist would could stop the planet... who then holds them at gunpoint and forces them into his rocket in what he thinks is a suicide mission. I guess that stress really is getting to him.

A couple of things here, yeah, the story is going a bit to fast, but this is a Sunday comic after all, you get one a week then have to wait a week for the next one so I imagine there was quite a bit of pressure to make each instalment feel worth it.

It's also such a classic scifi thing to have a lone scientist working on a vast machine. Like, did he do the metallurgy himself? How did he move the parts? Is he an Omnidisciplinary genius? Old scifi has no time for these rational questions, we need to get into space by comic 2!

Strip 2 (presumably published on Jan 14th)

Oh yeah, this is the good stuff

Dr Hans Zarkov (Zarkov doesn't seem to be a real name but Hans implies something Germanic, given this is the early 30's I wonder if that implies anything?) continues his manic break, suddenly becoming a coward who doesn't want to die while Flash is now committed to ramming himself into this planet.

It's nice that Dale's first instinct is to grab a wrench to wallop the doctor, that will serve her well. And then we see the panel above. This is the kind of simple yet evocative scifi art I would have rotated in my mind for hours if I had read this as a kid. A submarine like rocket, a glittering city set against a pitch black sky (implying no atmosphere?) I love it.

And then we are reminded that planets have gravity and you really should have someone at the controls of your rocket. BANG, CRASH, and the rocket crumples into a mountain. Despite what must have been a impact at thousands of km/h, Flash is just fine (even if his polo gear is a bit torn up) while Dale is just unconscious. Leaving the rocket (without Hans) Flash walks to the city in the distance.

Gotta have a cliffhanger each week, wonder if one will have a literal cliff?

Other than the rogue planet, the first strip didn't have much to draw me in if I was reading Flash on release, but this? This would catch my attention. Alien worlds, alien monsters, mysterious cities! This would get me coming back next week, good thing I don't have to wait that long.

One thing to note I suppose is the interior of the rocket, with all it's pipes, pressure gauges and such, reminds me more of a Jules Verne creation than a rocket, but we aren't that far from Verne's age in the 30's, now were we?

Strip 3

Slowly, slowly eating him. How considerate

Well, Mongo (I'm assuming that's where we are) certainly doesn't waste any time. You crash and giant lizard-cat monsters are trying to eat you inside five minutes. Better get more than a pen knife Flash old buddy.

We also see the classic trope of "Oh no, a giant monster is about to eat me! Oh no a second one! Oh, they're fighting each other, better get away". But then, rockets!

That's one heck of a worrying trajectory for someone with only rear mounted rockets

Aliens! Who look just like rubber foreheaded people, guess Star Trek had to get it somewhere.

Now, there's no getting around this, the very human-like aliens are literally coloured yellow, their leader (called the Emperor of the Universe here) is named Ming (though not named yet, wonder when that will happen). It's been a while since I did a deep dive into Yellow Peril, but lets just say, despite how stereotyped he was, I was surprised the African man in the first comic wasn't drawn with big pink lips. Racism is an intrinsic part of almost all media from this era, one of the reasons I still haven't gotten into John Carter yet is the opening blurb where his backstory is discussed. There were exceptions to this, even at the time though, and I think it's important to remember this wasn't a hard rule, it was laziness and pandering to a lowest common denominator audience.

Anyway, in terms of scifi tropes... well, we quickly have a Emperor on his thrown, he grabs up all the pretty ladies, sends our hero to the arena to die, archetypal bad guy.

Strip 4

Flash is a great dancer

Straight into the arena and the appearance of another pulp staple, Man-Apes. I wonder what the first property to use them was, The Island of Dr. Moreau?

Anyway, as a certified Capable Man™ Flash has no trouble dispatching them, despite the fact that other primapes have muscles that work a bit differently than us humans, so a single blow could have de-gloved him (don't google that).

While the fight panels are more than a bit disjointed, the actual poses aren't bad. You see how powerfully Flash is built (and several of them would make George Takei go "Oh My") and using your opponents as a weapon is always fun.

By the standards of the day, the ladies haven't been that bad so far

Ming, being an evil Emperor of course, can't have this, so Flash must be shot down. Good thing that like all imperial goons, his men are terrible shots. And lucky for Flash he leapt into the viewing box of the Emperor's daughter, who calls for his mercy.

The evil emperor has got to have a inexplicably pure and good daughter to, it's just the law. What's really funny is how in the very next panel, Flash falls down a trap door. Really lets you know what kinda guy Ming is. Has a trap door to the Hole of Horrors™ installed in his own daughters booth. I shudder to think what he put in her bedroom, swinging blades?

Now, I can recognize that this is the old love at first sight for a man you don't know trope, but I prefer to believe our Princess is just so fed up with her dad she would have jumped after anyone. Anything to get out of another state dinner :V

And that's 4 comics. Let's see if I can make this a regular thing. 4 comics a week, on Sundays since Flash was a Sunday comic.

Okay I have a lot of AMATEUR experience in filmmaking. I've planned and prepared for this project for over 10 years, and since I didn't have the money for formal education (and i started off in a cult, ok), I found ways to learn on my own. Each subject below, I have at least a year of practice and some deep research into each one.

The short version is: I've done everything, but I'm especially good at music and acting. Links and more below⬇️

My experience:

Screenwriting--I screenwrote about 20 short films as a teen, and later wrote these comedic skits on YouTube and these newer autism skits on Tiktok.

Producing--I produced all these videos including managing transportation, delegation, food, social media. I don't like this job. I'm not good at it. I produced some music videos [the hat is part of the costume not a political statement]. I also made product videos on Instagram.

Directing--I've directed over a dozen amateur short films with my teen siblings and friends. Largest team I led was 10 people and we won a film contest for this one.

Acting--I've been performing onstage since I was 5. I have good stage presence! I've been on a TV set a couple times and acted in all my videos. I like playing as--Oblivious Macho, autistic characters, Charismatic meanie ... I love acting; it's my favorite.

Stunts--I have 3+ years of martial arts training and I did the stunts in this "documentary" and this fight over a scarf.

Videography--I did most of the filming in the above projects. I've done framing and natural lighting experience on this Instagram account for jewelry photography.

Costuming--I can tailor some really cool stuff (cloaks, pants, old fashioned shoes, i even handmade my wedding dress). I'll include some pics below. I make jewelry. Someone else is going to have to be in charge of makeup bc I SUCK at it.

Editing--I love editing! I edited most of the above short films and music videos in Lightworks, which is basically a knockoff of Adobe Premier.

Music score--I did all the music in the above videos! I'm GREAT at composing and mastering electronic music! I have a gift for it (even if you don't like my style, I've got the skill). Here's my main online location and here's Background Sound which was made to be a collection of video background music. I've done maybe 15 short film scores.

My current Funding plan+ideas:

Using what equipment and experience our core team already has;

Post very short episodes consistently on Tumblr and Tiktok.

Focus on the series the whump community likes best and do more of that.

Get contracts to create an online collection of the whumpiest film and TV shows for a subscription. (I can't be the only one balancing out subscriptions so I can get the whump stuff from each distributor.) We put up our small projects there for free and use the subscriptions to fund bigger projects.

With a larger following for credibility, approach investors for funding bigger projects. We would never sell rights to these films and series--i believe in this too much to compromise on it.

Continue to post free content and release higher-budget films.

I don't know how to do these big deals or how to get low-level initial funding--so far I've funded everything out-of-pocket, and my pockets only have spare change.

Once we were making enough money to cover everyone's hours, we'd pay back investors and then the core team would split any additional profits.

Again these are all just ideas, and I don't have a detailed understanding of business law. One step at a time, though, right?

Waited a week and maybe a few extra days for this person to pay $50 dollars for this commission (lineart, color, and time) and they haven't yet sooo.. since commissions are a serious thing that I've mentioned time and time and time again here I'm just going to post it and let others enjoy the art since if I'm not getting paid, attention from people who will pay and pay on time are ones I'm reaching out to.

They mentioned wanting to pay with mobile deposit which I mentioned over and over again that I haven't used before and even after I looked into it mentioned that I wasn't comfortable with that method of payment. After waiting I've decided to just move on.

I do art and writing commissions: Art - open to headings, pfps, couple pics, OCS, favorite characters and them x OCS

And writing commissions: Fanfic - OC x OC, OC x cc, cc x reader, reader x OC, smut, angst, fluffy, yandere, etc

My commissions aren't cheap except for lineart but it depends on case. The lowest I'll go for an art commission would be $30 and the lowest I'll go for a writing one would be $5 but the highest I'll go for art is $250 with THIS being an example. (< Hazbin Hotel Banner) And $195 for writing up to 10k words.

I don't like usually posting the faces but I tried everything for a marker or something to cover it but since it's not working here's the time lapse. Anyway this commission made me want to do more pet commissions are well just for practice so if you want your pet and you drawn and are willing to pay money upfront or midway then my dms are open to you. For the most part I won't post it unless you want me to or unless you're like this person.

Prices can be debated of course, I'm willing to have prices change depending on what art you want, how much time it takes, and what is included in it. Cases most likely will be unique for certain people and things but as long as we both agree on the price I'm willing to accept anyone. I also wouldn't mind Commissions for smut art (OC x Sebastian Michaelis for example..) but that would probably be extra dollars so yeah.

I've opened animation commissions in the past but no one said anything about them so while these prices may change later at some point I feel pretty okay with the prices here. Imagine paying for smut art but basically animation. They will only be lineart until I grow more comfortable with coloring animations and when I eventually do of course I'll price up for cases to get paid what I deserve for my work. Just be patient with animations since they'll take a couple days to get done I'm sure but you'll absolutely get an amazing piece for commissioning me.

Never send me money unless I say I'm ready for it, with this being said I refuse to be blamed if you don't follow the rules and these many posts I've made for how I take and accept commissions. If you have questions ALWAYS ask them before anything else.
