Every day I'm contemplating it but at the same time I stand by the thought that I despise updates

I actually haven't updated my tumblr app in like... 4 years??? lmao idk why but I just refuse to do so when I keep seeing posts on how tumblr updates are utter garbage. Even when they introduced the poll update I'm just freaking stubborn and ignored it but felt kinda left out when I'm unable to see or vote on polls on my dash ever since. The only way I see polls is to go on desktop which I rather do on PC but m just lazy to do so

Tho not too happy with using the desktop version either cuz of its twt lookalike design 😑

Well, so far I can still see posts fine on my dashboard (aside from not seeing polls) but lately the "recommend for you" disappeared which is kinda bummer since that's where I wanna see random posts

6) do you prefer to be seen as your kintype(s) or as a human?

It's entirely situational for me. If it was a more Generally Accepted fact of life, I'd like for EVERYONE to know me as my kintypes! But alas, it's something a lot of people (especially in jo|b and bus/iness environments) either don't know about, or know about and reject. So in a jo|b or bus/iness environment, I keep my kinnity close. It's a Secret^tm. But if someone in those Human-Dominated Spaces happens to say something like "You remind me of a bird", my heart absolutely SOARS!

For those who know and accept (or better yet, EMBRACE) otherkin stuff, it does my heart So very good if they see me as my kintypes. (The biggest reason my icon on Discord is B|ue Diamond is because she's one of my Hugest Kintypes, and I'm in a lot of kin spaces on Discord. I very much like people to See Me As the Big Blue I Am! Or, well, was, anyways. Still a very important part of my identity though.)

12) for spiritual kinfolk, do you have any memories?

Oh, SO many! I don't think I can list them all here, but usually they're Emotion / Thought Memories. I have memories as all of my main kintypes, though some are more scattered than others.

I have A LOT of memories as B|ue Diamond, especially about Gem|kind and how our society worked! And a lot of emotional memories, like a LOT. Not necessarily what caused them specifically, but General Situations and remembering most vividly how it FELT. (I'm absolutely convinced the B|ue Court specialized in memory, theoretically because it was a characteristic of mine that sort of bled into the Gems I made.)

I also have a lot of Fleeting Memories of Instants as my raven-self. Usually I don't remember it until something Reminds Me Of It, and then those memories kind of fade into the background again. Typically it's remembering either how things looked from my vantage point at the time, or remembering the tactile sensory experience.

And (unfortunately) I've even recovered some as Harrowhark. In fact the moment I started kinsidering was when I was reading The Ending of The First Book and I remembered that happening. I haven't recovered many memories of Things Happening To Me, but I very much remember how I felt about certain people and how the schools of magic worked. My soul even remembers DOING the magic, because sometimes I unintentionally Try Doing It Again. Kind of awkward when I remember I can't do that anymore, tbh. (Although I will say I'm much better at certain schools of necromancy in This Life than I remember being in That Life. ;P Can't create a whole skeleton from a finger bone anymore, but now I can astral project and divine with the best of them! Suck it, psychometry. /j )

R\you memories are interesting though, because in that life I had involuntary memories of Another Past Life From That Same Universe (hi I was also the T|hief King, who was in the same world but lived several thousand years before R\you). Long story short, the memories disquieted me to the point that I used magic to SUPPRESS them. I'm still trying to unravel that magic and recover the stuff I forced myself to forget. Plus, I dissociated a LOT in that life, so... when I do remember something, it's often a Rare Lucid Moment rather than An Entire Progression of Events. Usually just a flash of memory, and then if I don't write it down, I forget it again.

Okay! I've rambled enough (maybe more than enough, heh), so I'll stop there! But tl;dr yes, I have a lot of memories, and the Experience of Remembering is a little bit different between kintypes for me!
