I'm beginning to see a pattern in that many of the people whose takes on characters I don't see/agree with ALSO have something of a tendency to give them nicknames that make my brain prickle in a really unpleasant way
that's.... actually pretty useful information to me if I'm to be honest
#I'm talking about “Asti” and “Stary/Starry” specifically#like this sounds mean but......... ma'am that's a grown-ass man we're talking about#something something infantilization something something oversimplification#squirrel plays bg3#I'd honestly toss “Little Star” and its many permutations onto the pile too#but he's not the first nor is he the only character I have seen this happen with#just the example in the forefronts of my mind
