SUMMARY: Where an amazing date night leads to a devastating car accident, leaving Y/N severely injured and Matt hospitalized and feeling extremely guilt.

The night had been perfect. The kind of night that made Matt wish he could bottle up every second and live it over and over again. As they cruised down the road, Y/N’s laughter filled the car, bubbling up with a joy that made his heart swell. He stole a quick glance at her, unable to resist the smile tugging at his lips as he watched her eyes crinkle at the corners.
It was all almost too serene. The road was deserted, stretching ahead like a long, winding ribbon through the dense forest. Trees lined both sides, their dark silhouettes swaying gently in the cool breeze. The glow from the dashboard lights bathed Matt’s face in a soft blue hue, highlighting the way his jaw clenched whenever he concentrated on the road.
Matt’s hand rested gently on Y/N’s thigh, fingers intertwined with hers. The music in the background was just soft enough to allow their conversation to drift through the air. Their fingers were laced together like they had been for years, her thumb softly brushing over the back of his hand in a way that always sent a thrill through him.
"You know." Y/N started, turning to look at him with that familiar, teasing sparkle in her eyes. "I still can’t believe you almost choked on that dessert tonight."
He rolled his eyes, shaking his head.
"Hey, those strawberries were huge, okay? It’s not my fault they didn’t fit in my mouth." Matt chuckled, his voice low and slightly raspy as he lifted her hand to press a soft kiss to her knuckles.
"Sure, that’s what she said." She quipped, sending a playful wink towards the brunette.
His laughter echoed through the car, his eyes crinkling at the edges.
"Hey, babe, we should-"
But before he could finish his sentence, Y/N's heart jumped to her throat as she noticed something.
"Matt!" Y/N’s scream pierced the air like needles.
Matt’s heart seized, his veins flooded with pure adrenaline. The world seemed to slow down, the seconds stretching into infinity as he turned his eyes from Y/N to the approaching car. It was swerving uncontrollably, zigzagging across the two-lane road, headlights blinding and erratic.
Panic gripped him like a vice. His instincts kicked in, hands flying to the steering wheel as he yanked it to the right with all his strength, desperate to avoid a head-on collision. The tires screamed in protest, the smell of burning rubber filling the car as the vehicle veered off the asphalt, gravel spraying against the undercarriage like bullets.
The seatbelt bit into his chest, and Matt let out a guttural grunt as the force of the swerve tried to rip him sideways.
"Hold on!" He shouted, the words raw and choked with fear.
But there was no time to process, no time to think. In the chaos, Matt’s vision narrowed to a tunnel. He could barely make out the blur of trees and darkness as the car skidded off the road. The other car blazed past them, its horn blaring like a scream of rage, disappearing into the night as if it had never been there.
Matt’s heart hammered in his chest, every beat like a drum of dread. He tried to correct the car’s course, but it seemed to be impossible with the velocity of it, and the steering wheel slipped under his frantic grip. The headlights illuminated nothing but shadows and thick trees ahead, and before he could even register what was happening, the world exploded into chaos.
The impact was instant. The front of the car crumpled like a tin can as it collided with the tree, the force of the crash sending them both jolting forward. Y/N’s scream was cut short as her side of the car bore the brunt of the crash, the airbags exploding around them in a cloud of powder.
Everything went black.

A few seconds - or maybe minutes, Matt couldn’t tell - passed before he came to. The first thing he noticed was the sharp, metallic taste of blood in his mouth, his head throbbing like it was being split open. His vision was blurred, darkness and flashing colors swirling together as he tried to blink them away.
"Y/N..." He croaked, his voice barely a whisper. Panic seized his chest like a vice grip as he turned his head, trying to see her through the haze. "Y/N!"
She was slumped against her seat, her head tilted unnaturally to the side, blood smeared across her forehead where she’d hit the window.
"No, no, no, no!" Matt’s voice came out in a broken sob as he reached for her, his hands trembling violently. Pain shot through his ribs with every movement, but he ignored it, his vision blurred with tears. "Y/N! Wake up, please, wake up!"
But she didn’t move.
"C'mon, please. Please- fucking shit!"
He could barely breathe, his chest tightening as though an invisible hand was crushing his lungs. Warm blood trickled down his temple, but he barely noticed it. All he could focus on was Y/N, slumped lifelessly beside him.
"What do I do? What do I do?" His bloody hands flew to his head, smearing it all around his skin. "An ambulance, I need-need to call an ambulance."
His trembling fingers fumbled with his phone, hands slick with blood and sweat, and his vision blurred with tears. He couldn’t think straight; everything was a whirlpool of noise, pain, and terror. As he finally managed to dial 911, he searched for Y/N hand, squeezing the cold, unmoving member, his other hand shaking so hard it almost dropped the phone.
"911, what's your emergency?"
Matt could hardly get the words out, his throat so tight it felt like he was being strangled.
"We-we've been in an accident! Oh god, please- please help us! I... I don’t know what to do!"
His voice was a broken sob, the words tumbling out in a chaotic rush, barely coherent. He was gasping for breath, panic clawing at him with icy fingers. He kept glancing at Y/N, hoping, praying that she would suddenly move or blink or give any sign that she was okay. But she was too still, her face shining with blood, eyes closed, and her chest...
He couldn't even tell if it was moving.
"Okay, sir, I need you to try to stay calm. Where are you? Can you give me your location?"
Matt’s mind was spinning, the world around him a dark blur. He tried to remember where they were, but it was like every thought was slipping through his fingers.
"Uh- I, I don’t know! Somewhere near... near Elm and... I think we’re by a park or something. There’s glass everywhere, and- she's not... she’s not waking up!"
As he spoke, Matt’s voice cracked again, his words coming out in choked sobs. His free hand kept shaking Y/N’s shoulder, trying to rouse her, to pull her back to him.
"Alright, I’ve got your location. Help is on the way. Sir, I need you to focus for a moment. Is anyone else in the car with you?"
Matt’s voice broke into a desperate wail.
"Yes, yes, it’s my girlfriend. She-she’s not moving! I tried to wake her, but... but she’s just lying there, and she’s bleeding. Oh god, there’s so much blood!"
He couldn’t stop his crying, his entire body shaking as if he were freezing. Maybe he was.
"Okay, I understand. Help is on its way, I promise. But I need you to check if she’s breathing. Can you see if she’s taking any breaths?"
Matt let out a strangled noise, almost animalistic, as he leaned back to try to see. His hands were unsteady and he wiped furiously at his eyes to clear his vision. He leaned closer to her, straining to see if her chest was rising, but everything was too dark and chaotic.
"I-I can’t tell! I’m trying, but she’s not moving! Please, just help her!" His voice rose to a scream at the end, cracking under the weight of his despair.
"We're doing everything we can, sir. You’re doing great, okay? Just stay with me. Take a deep breath. I need you to look at her chest. Is it rising and falling, even a little?"
Matt tried. He really tried. But all he could see was blood. Blood on her eyes, her lips, her collarbone. He could barely make out her features through the darkness and the horror of what was happening.
"I don’t know, I don’t know!" He cried, his voice breaking into another sob. "It’s too dark, and her hair- there’s so much blood on her face. I’m scared to move her, I don’t want to hurt her more! Y/N, baby, come on. Please, don’t leave me." He begged, his voice raw with desperation.
He reached for his own seatbelt, fingers fumbling as he tried to undo the latch, but it was jammed. Tears blurred his vision constantly, frustration and fear boiling over as he yanked at it, the metal digging into his palms.
When the seatbelt finally gave way, he turned his attention back to her face.
"I’m here, I’m here." He whispered, pressing frantic kisses to her forehead, ignoring the cold of her skin and the taste of blood hitting his tongue. "I’m not leaving you, okay? Just stay with me."
"You’re doing the right thing by staying with her, sir." Their voice made him remember that he was still with the call on-going. "Just keep talking to her, alright? I know it’s hard, but you need to stay calm for her. What’s her name?"
Her name. God, her name was everything. It was the first thing he thought of when he woke up and the last thing on his mind before he fell asleep. He let out a shuddering breath.
"Y/N... Her name’s Y/N." He whispered, his voice raw. He cradled her face with his free hand, gently brushing the blood-streaked strands of hair away. "She’s so cold. Why is she so cold?"
"Y/N is going to be okay, sir. We’re sending an ambulance to you right now. I need you to tell me: are you hurt? Are you bleeding anywhere?"
Matt’s mind was short-circuiting, the edges of his vision tinged with black spots. But he couldn’t focus on himself. He couldn’t care less if he was bleeding or broken.
"N-No, I’m fine. It’s just her. She-she hit her head so hard." His voice broke into a whisper at the end, as if saying it too loudly would make it more real.
"I understand. But you might not realize you’re hurt because of the adrenaline. Can you check if you’re bleeding or if you feel any pain?"
Matt’s eyes darted frantically between his phone and Y/N. He couldn’t think about himself, couldn’t even process what they were asking.
"I told you, I’m fine!" He screamed into the phone, his voice cracking with a desperate fury. "I’m fine! It’s Y/N! Just... please save her! She’s... she’s everything. I can’t-" His words broke off into a series of harsh, broken sobs.
"I hear you, and I promise we're doing everything we can. Help is almost there, okay?"
Matt nodded frantically, even though they couldn’t see him. He clung to Y/N’s hand like a lifeline, pressing it to his lips, whispering her name over and over.
"Please, baby, stay with me... Please. You’re so strong. You can get through this. Just keep breathing for me, okay? Please..."
Outside, the wailing sirens grew louder, the red and blue lights flashing through the shattered windows of the car.
"Please... don’t leave me." He whispered one last time, the sound of his door being ripped open sounding muffled before the darkness around him finally swallowed him whole.
The last thing he felt was Y/N’s cold hand slipping from his grasp as the world went dark.
༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
A slow, rhythmic beeping was the first thing Matt became aware of as he drifted back into consciousness. His eyelids were heavy, as if weighed down by invisible anchors, and when he finally managed to pry them open, his vision was blurred, everything around him a hazy mix of white and blue. The smell of antiseptic stung his nostrils, making his head spin, and the low hum of machinery filled the air.
Matt blinked, trying to clear the fog from his mind. The room was dim, a soft light glowing from a corner lamp, casting long shadows across the pale walls.
There was an IV taped to his arm, the clear tube connected to a bag hanging from a metal pole beside the bed. His body felt like it had been crushed, every breath sending a dull throb through his ribs.
It hurt to move, but he turned his head slowly, trying to get his bearings. That’s when he noticed the figure slumped in an uncomfortable-looking position on a small armchair near the bed.
Chris.
His brother was fast asleep, his face drawn with exhaustion, dark circles etched beneath his eyes. The armchair seemed to have been pushed so close to the bed that it almost touched it, like Chris had wanted to stay as close to him as possible.
Matt’s mind was sluggish, like wading through thick mud. He couldn't remember how he’d ended up here. Why was he in a hospital? What had happened?
As he lay there, trying to piece together the fragments of his memory, a flash of vivid color cut through the fog like a lightning bolt; Y/N’s face, pale and covered in blood, slumped in the seat next to him.
The memory hit him like a truck, and suddenly everything came rushing back at once: the crash, the panic, the desperate phone call. Y/N’s lifeless body beside him.
"Y/N!" The name ripped out of his throat, raw and broken.
Adrenaline flooded his veins, pushing away the pain as panic seized him. He tried to sit up, ignoring the sharp agony that shot through his side and the dizziness that made his head sway. The only thought in his mind was finding her, making sure she was okay. He had to see her. He had to know if she was still-
His hands scrambled at the IV taped to his arm, trying to yank it free.
"No, no, no... C'mon, I need to find her!" He gasped, his voice frantic and uneven. His vision blurred with tears, anxiety closing in like a vice around his chest.
Chris woke with a sudden start, his eyes snapping open. For a split second, he was disoriented, but then he saw Matt struggling on the bed, clawing at the IV line.
"Matt! Hey, stop. Stop!" Chris practically leaped from the couch, crossing the short distance to his brother in a heartbeat.
Matt barely registered Chris’s presence.
"Let go of me! I need to find her!" His voice was wild, a desperate, guttural scream. He shoved at Chris with what little strength he had, the effort sending another stab of pain through his ribs, but he didn’t care. All that mattered was Y/N. She was out there somewhere, alone, hurt. He had to get to her.
Chris’s heart twisted painfully at the sight of his brother in such a state. He grabbed Matt’s hands, trying to stop him from tearing the IV out.
"Matt, listen to me! You need to calm down!" His voice was steady, but there was an edge of panic in it, fear for both Matt’s physical and mental state.
He pushed the call button for the doctor frantically, knowing they needed help, now.
Matt was beyond reason. He was sobbing, his voice breaking as he shouted like crazy.
"Get off me, Chris! Please, I have to find her! Y/N- where is she? Where’s Y/N?!" He thrashed against Chris’s grip, raw terror coursing through him. His mind was a whirlwind of worst-case scenarios, each one more terrifying than the last.
Chris used every ounce of strength he had to pin Matt’s hands down against the bed, his fingers digging into Matt’s wrists. He leaned in close, his face inches from Matt’s, forcing him to make eye contact.
"Matt, you need to stop!" He shouted, his voice cracking. "Listen to me, please! Nick is with her, and they’re taking care of her! You have to stay here and let them help you, okay? You’re hurt, too!"
But it was like Matt couldn’t even hear him.
"No, no, no! She’s not okay, she wasn’t moving! I need to see her, Chris! Let me go!" His screams were hoarse, filled with a raw, primal agony that tore at Chris’s heart.
Before Chris could say anything else, the door burst open, and a doctor, along with two nurses, rushed in, their expressions tense and focused.
"What’s going on?" The doctor demanded as she approached the bed, her gaze flicking between the brothers.
"He’s trying to rip the IV out." Chris said breathlessly, his voice shaking. "Please, he won’t calm down!"
The doctor nodded sharply, gesturing to one of the nurses.
"We need to sedate him before he injures himself further."
"No!" Matt screamed, thrashing even harder against Chris’s grip. "Don’t you dare! I need to find Y/N!" His voice was broken, desperate, his eyes wide and filled with terror.
Chris's hands tightened around Matt’s, holding him down as the nurse prepared a syringe. Tears streamed down Matt’s face, his breaths coming in ragged gasps.
He was looking at Chris with an expression so lost, so utterly heartbroken, it nearly broke Chris, too.
"Matt, listen to me." Chris pleaded, his own voice breaking. "She’s going to be okay. But you’re going to hurt yourself if you don’t stop. I promise, I promise I’ll take you to her as soon as they say it’s okay. But you have to calm down, okay? Please, Matt..."
Matt’s eyes were wild, searching Chris’s for any sign of a lie, any hint that he was just trying to placate him. But Chris’s face was so full of anguish, so full of love and sincerity, that Matt’s resolve wavered for a moment.
The nurse took advantage of that brief second of hesitation, quickly inserting the needle into Matt’s IV line. Within seconds, the sedative began to take effect. Matt’s thrashing slowed, his screams dying down to broken sobs as the world around him began to blur again.
"No... Chris, please... It was my fault... Y/N..." Matt’s voice was barely a whisper now, his eyelids drooping as the drug pulled him under. The last thing he saw was Chris’s tear-streaked face, mouthing something he couldn’t quite hear before the darkness swallowed him whole.
༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
The darkness that had pulled Matt under before slowly began to recede, but this time, it was different. Darkness enveloped him in a terrifying nightmare, pulling him under like the tide dragging him out to sea.
He was back in the car. The smell of gasoline and blood was suffocating, the crunch of broken glass grinding beneath his legs as he struggled to move. Y/N was next to him, her face ghostly pale, her eyes closed, blood streaming down her forehead and pooling beneath her. Her body lay limp, lifeless against the car seat, and no matter how many times he screamed her name, she didn't stir.
"... Y/N, please! Wake up!" Matt’s voice was raw, his throat burning with the force of his screams. He shook her shoulder frantically, his fingers slick with blood. "No, no, no... please, Y/N, don’t do this to me!" But she remained still, her head slumped to the side, blood trickling down her delicate features.
The world around him was spinning, the sound of sirens in the distance growing louder, yet somehow they never seemed to get closer. His breaths were short, and frantic gasps as he clutched at Y/N, his tears falling onto her lifeless body.
"God, no! Please!" He was breaking, unraveling, his heart tearing apart as he held her close, praying for a miracle that wouldn’t come.
"Matt!"
The voice was distant at first, barely cutting through the thick haze of his panic. But it grew louder, more urgent, like a beacon trying to pierce through the storm in his mind.
"Matt! Come on, wake up!"
But Matt couldn’t make sense of it. His eyes were still glued to Y/N’s lifeless form, his hands desperately trying to stop the flow of blood, his heart shattering with each second that passed. The voice was there again, louder this time, sounding so familiar, so achingly real.
"Matt, it’s okay. You're safe. Matt, listen to me!"
The scene in front of him wavered, flickering like a glitch in a broken film reel. The wrecked car, the blood, Y/N’s unmoving body; all of it seemed to blur, like someone was tearing the nightmare apart at its seams. Matt blinked, his vision shifting between the nightmare and something else. A figure - blurred, indistinct - hovered above him. He could hear that voice again, so much clearer now, so desperate and familiar.
"Y/N?" Matt’s voice was a hoarse whisper, his eyes darting around frantically. But his mind was still caught between the nightmare and reality. He could feel Y/N’s cold body beneath his fingers, could see her blood staining his hands. "No, please! Don’t let her die! God, please, don’t take her from me!" His voice broke into anguished sobs, raw and heart-wrenching, as he pleaded into the darkness.
The figure above him froze, and then, in an instant, arms wrapped around him. Matt was pulled into a tight embrace, warmth pressing against his trembling body.
"Hey, hey, it’s okay. I’m here. Matt, it’s me. You’re safe." Chris’s voice was thick with emotion, his own tears spilling as he held Matt close.
The youngest dropped to his knees beside the hospital bed, leaning over Matt’s shaking form, one arm cradling the back of his head as he tried to bring him back from the brink.
"Shhh, it’s okay, Matt. Y/N is okay. I promise you, she’s alive. It was just a nightmare." Chris whispered desperately into Matt’s ear, his grip tightening when he felt his brother’s body shake with gut-wrenching sobs. He rocked them both slightly, his own chest heaving as he tried to keep it together for Matt’s sake. "I’ve got you, alright? I’m right here. She’s okay. I swear."
But Matt couldn’t process the words. His mind was still stuck in that twisted nightmare, where Y/N was cold and still beneath his hands, where he’d failed to protect her.
"No, no... I have to get to her." He choked out, struggling weakly in Chris’s arms. "I can’t lose her... I can’t..."
"Matt." Chris said more firmly, his voice breaking. He pulled back just enough to look Matt in the eyes, his hands cupping Matt’s face, thumbs brushing away the tears streaming down his cheeks. "Listen to me. You’re not in the car anymore. You’re in the hospital. Y/N is okay. She’s being taken care of. She’s safe."
Chris’s words were slowly, agonizingly, starting to sink in. Matt’s sobs grew softer, his breaths still ragged and uneven, but the desperate thrashing stopped. He could feel the warmth of Chris’s body, the steady pressure of his hands holding him down, grounding him in the present. The nightmare was slipping away, reality clawing its way back into his consciousness.
Matt’s fingers, which had been gripping Chris’s shirt with bruising force, gradually loosened. He blinked, his vision clearing enough to see the hospital room around him. The blinding lights, the beeping machines, the sterile scent, all of it slowly registered, pulling him further away from the nightmare’s grip.
"Chris...?" Matt’s voice was small, broken, like a lost child. His wide, tear-filled eyes searched Chris’s, looking for confirmation that this wasn’t another twisted dream.
"Yes, it’s me." Chris whispered, his forehead pressing against Matt’s. "You’re safe. I’ve got you."
Matt collapsed into Chris’s arms, his body going limp with exhaustion. The adrenaline that had kept him going drained away, leaving him weak and trembling. He buried his face in Chris’s shoulder, his hands clutching at his brother’s back like a lifeline.
"I thought... I thought I lost her..." He sobbed, his voice muffled and choked. "I couldn’t... I can’t lose her, Chris..."
"I know, I know." Chris murmured, tears streaming down his own face as he held his brother tighter, laying his cheek above his head. "But she’s alive. She’s okay. And you’re okay. We’re all here, Matt. You’re safe."
Slowly, so slowly, Matt’s sobs began to quiet. His breathing evened out, but that only brought the pain to control. Each breath sent a jolt through his bruised ribs. His head throbbed, the pain pulsing behind his eyes, and his skin was clammy with cold sweat. He shivered, his body exhausted and aching, but he let himself lean into Chris’s embrace, the warmth of his brother’s presence keeping him grounded.
Chris continued to murmur soothing words, his hands rubbing circles on Matt’s shoulder, trying to calm the tremors that still wracked his brother’s body.
"You’re okay, Matt. You’re safe. I’ve got you."
Matt let out a shaky breath, his body finally beginning to relax, the nightmare fading further into the recesses of his mind, the steady rhythm of Chris’s heartbeat against his ear helping to calm the storm inside him.
For the first time since waking, Matt felt like he could breathe again. He was still in pain, his body battered and broken, but Chris’s comforting presence kept him anchored, keeping him from slipping back into that dark abyss.
"Can... can you call me the doctor?" Matt whispered hoarsely, his voice barely audible.
"Are you feeling pain?" Chris asked worriedly, receiving a small nod as an answer. "Okay."
Chris brushed back the damp hair on Matt's forehead while pressing his free hand against the red button.
"Chris." Matt croaked out again. "Y/N... how is she?"
His younger brother's face crumpled, and he let out a shaky breath. He looked away for a moment, trying to collect himself before turning back to Matt.
"She... she was in surgery." He said quietly, every word seeming to cost him. "Nick told me... she had internal bleeding, and they had to go in to stop it. She hit her head super hard, too. But... the surgery went well. She’s stable now and probably still asleep."
Matt’s heart shattered at those words, a cold, sick feeling twisting in his stomach. Internal bleeding. Surgery. Y/N had gone through so much, and it was all because he couldn’t control his own damn car. If he had just been paying attention... He clenched his fists, nails digging into his palms as he struggled to hold back the tears.
"Can I... can I maybe see her?" He asked, his voice so small, so broken, it almost didn’t sound like his own.
Chris stared at him for long seconds, his eyes searching Matt’s face, like he was trying to read the thoughts swirling in his mind. And maybe he could see it. Maybe he could sense the guilt that was eating Matt alive. But Chris didn’t press him. Instead, he sighed heavily, searching for his hands and stopping him from hurting himself further.
"The doctor is the one who has to let you." He whispered, biting his bottom lip hard. "You know... I was really scared, Matt. I thought... I thought I was going to lose you forever."
Matt watched the pain swimming inside Chris's blue eyes.
"I’m sorry, Chris." He muttered, his voice cracking. "I’m really sorry for scaring you. You and Nick."
Chris looked down at him, his eyes shining with tears, and shook his head.
"No, Matt... no, it’s not your fault." He said, his voice fierce despite the tears. "I just... I’m just so glad you’re here. That you’re alive."
Matt swallowed hard, his throat tight. He didn’t deserve Chris’s relief, not when Y/N was still out there, hurt because of him.
Before he could say anything else, the sound of the door creaking open echoed, and a doctor stepped in, clipboard in hand. Behind her were two nurses, ready to assist with whatever was needed.
Dr. Patel, a middle-aged woman with gentle eyes, gave Matt a small, reassuring smile as she approached his bedside.
"Good to see you awake and calmer, Mr. Sturniolo. How are you feeling?" She asked, her tone soft yet businesslike.
Matt swallowed, his throat dry and raw from the crying.
"I... I’m in pain." He admitted hoarsely, his voice barely more than a whisper. "Everywhere."
Chris squeezed his hand reassuringly before turning to the doctor.
"Is there something more you can give him for the pain?" Chris asked, his voice thick with concern.
Dr. Patel nodded, her expression turning more serious as she flipped through the pages on her clipboard.
"We’ve been managing his pain with a mild dosage to avoid any complications, but given that he's more conscious now, we can adjust his medication." She gestured to one of the nurses, who immediately set about preparing a new injection.
Matt’s eyes fluttered closed for a moment as he tried to focus on breathing through the pain. Each inhale felt like it was slicing through his ribs, the weight of his guilt and worry making it even harder to catch his breath.
"Doctor, can... can I see her? Y/N, I mean... please." He pleaded, reopening his eyes before looking at her.
Dr. Patel paused, her gaze softening as she looked at him.
"Let’s take care of your pain first, Matt." She said kindly, her voice a steady anchor in the chaos. "I promise, as soon as you are stable enough, we’ll let you see her."
The nurse approached with the syringe, and Matt turned his head away, too drained to watch as she injected the painkiller into his IV. Moments later, a cooling sensation spread through his veins, slowly dulling the sharp edges of his agony, but it did nothing to ease the turmoil inside him.
As the medication began to work, Matt’s eyelids grew heavier, but he fought against the sleep that threatened to pull him under.
"I'm fine now... please." He begged, his voice wavering. "I'm fine, I need to see her. I... I have to make sure that she’s okay." His breath came in shallow, slow gasps, and his eyes darted to Chris, silently pleading for help.
Chris stepped forward, placing a calming hand on Matt’s shoulder.
"Hey, hey." He whispered, trying to soothe his brother. "Let the doctor decide if you're stable enough, okay? I promise you’ll see her soon."
Matt shook his head stubbornly, the panic still clawing at his chest.
"I promise that I'm feeling okay now, m-my pain is gone." His words sounded slurred, his eyes blinking slowly while trying to keep himself awake, looking at the doctor with determination.
Dr. Patel’s face softened as she listened to Matt’s broken pleas. The room was quiet for a minute, save for the rhythmic beeping of the heart monitor. She glanced at Chris, who was holding his brother’s shoulder tightly, as if trying to anchor him to the present moment.
"Please... I have to see her." He whispered again, the words more of a gasp now. "I just... I need to know she’s really okay."
The doctor sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose. She understood his desperation, his need to see Y/N with his own eyes. It was a common reaction, patients often believed that seeing their loved ones would somehow confirm their survival would make it more real. And judging by the fear and panic still etched into Matt’s face, this was something he desperately needed.
Dr. Patel turned to the nurse beside her, exchanging a brief, silent conversation before she turned back to the brothers.
"Alright." She said finally, her tone gentle but firm. "We can take you to her room, Matt... but only if you’re in a wheelchair. You’re still recovering yourself, and moving around too much could set back your progress."
Chris’s head whipped toward the doctor, a glimmer of hope lighting up his tired eyes.
"Wait... you mean... he can see her?"
"Yes, but only for a few minutes." Dr. Patel clarified. "And he must stay seated. We’ll have to monitor him closely."
Matt’s entire body seemed to sag in relief at her words. He would have agreed to any condition at that moment if it meant seeing Y/N, even if it was just for a second.
"Yes... yes, please. I’ll stay in the wheelchair. I promise." He breathed, the frantic edge to his voice slowly easing into something softer, more hopeful.
Chris nodded gratefully at the doctor, his eyes glassy with unshed tears.
"Thank you." He whispered, his voice thick. He turned to Matt, squeezing his brother’s shoulder. "Okay, Matt... just breathe, alright? We’re gonna see her."
The nurse quickly wheeled in a padded, adjustable wheelchair. Chris helped Matt shift carefully from the hospital bed into the seat, wincing with every grimace of pain that crossed Matt’s face. Matt tried to hide it, but his stiff movements and shallow breaths were enough to betray just how much he was still hurting. Once seated, Matt clutched the arms of the chair with white knuckles, willing his trembling legs to steady.
Chris crouched in front of him, locking eyes with Matt.
"Are you sure you’re good to go?" Chris asked softly, his voice laced with concern. "If you start to feel worse, we can turn back, okay?"
"No." Matt said quickly, shaking his head even though the motion made him dizzy. "I need to see her, Chris. I won’t... I can’t rest until I know she’s a-alive." His voice was nothing more than a hoarse whisper now, but it carried a weight that cut Chris to his core.
The small entourage - Matt, Chris, the doctor, and a nurse - began their slow journey down the fluorescent-lit corridor. The sterile scent of antiseptic filled the air, and the occasional sound of distant monitors and hushed conversations drifted from other rooms. Chris stayed beside the wheelchair, his hand on Matt’s shoulder the whole time, a steadying presence as they moved.
Matt’s heart was a wild drum in his chest, each turn of the hallway only ratcheting up his anxiety. He felt like he was caught in a nightmare that he couldn’t wake up from, the fear that he might find Y/N still and lifeless on a hospital bed eating away at him.
Finally, they stopped outside a door marked with Y/N’s name on a small placard. Dr. Patel turned to Matt, giving him one last assessing look.
"Remember, just a few minutes." She reminded him gently. "She’s stable but still heavily sedated. It might be a while before she wakes up."
Matt nodded, barely hearing her as his eyes locked on the door. Chris leaned down to give his shoulder one last reassuring squeeze before opening it. The soft creak of the door seemed to echo through Matt’s mind, the sound like a gunshot in the quiet hallway.
As they wheeled him inside, Matt’s breath hitched. There she was, his Y/N, lying so still in the bed, surrounded by machines that beeped and hummed softly, tubes and wires connected to her fragile form. Her face was pale, bandaged in places, and her chest rose and fell in the slow, steady rhythm of sleep. But she was breathing. She was alive.
Before his eyes could drink in every detail of her condition, his attention was pulled to another figure in the room.
Nick.
Nick’s head shot up at the sound of the door, his eyes widening in surprise. Relief washed over his face, softening the lines of exhaustion and worry that had been etched there. He looked like he hadn’t slept in days, his hair disheveled, eyes red-rimmed.
"Matt." Nick breathed, his voice trembling with emotion.
He quickly crossed the room in a few long strides, his eyes scanning his brother’s face like he couldn’t quite believe he was awake and here in front of him. Without a word, he dropped to his knees beside the wheelchair, wrapping his arms around Matt in a tight, desperate hug.
"Oh God, Matt." Nick’s voice cracked as he held on tight, as though letting go would make this moment disappear. "I thought we lost you... I thought..."
Matt weakly lifted one arm, patting his brother’s back as best as he could manage.
"I’m okay." He whispered hoarsely, though the pain in his body begged to differ. "I’m here, Nick... I’m here."
Nick pulled back, his eyes shining with tears, but he quickly wiped them away with the back of his hand.
"You have no idea how scared we were, Matt... but God, I’m so glad you’re awake."
Chris, standing close by, put a comforting hand on Nick’s shoulder, giving him a small, reassuring squeeze.
"He’s okay, Nick. We’re okay." Chris murmured, nodding assuredly.
The doctor and nurse patiently waited for the brothers to have their moment before gently nudging the wheelchair forward.
"Let’s get you closer to her, Matt." Dr. Patel said softly.
As they wheeled Matt to Y/N’s bedside, all the noise of the hospital seemed to fade away. All he could hear was the soft, steady beep of the machines monitoring her vitals.
Matt’s eyes welled up with tears as he took in her pale face, the bruises peeking out from under the bandages on her forehead and the soft rise and fall of her chest.
He reached out with a trembling hand, his fingers brushing against hers. Her skin was cool to the touch, and a sob tore through him. Without hesitation, he leaned forward, bringing her hand to his lips. He kissed her knuckles softly, over and over again, his lips lingering on every bruise and scrape he could see.
"I’m so sorry." He whispered, his voice raw with anguish. "I’m so, so sorry, my love. Please... please forgive me. I love you so much, Y/N. I need you. You have to wake up soon. Please."
He kept pressing gentle kisses to her hand, his tears slipping down and wetting her skin. His heart ached in ways he never thought possible, the guilt eating him alive. This was his fault. If only he had been more careful...
Nick watched silently, his own eyes filled with tears, and Chris had to turn away for a moment, pressing a fist to his mouth to stifle a sob. The sight of their brother - usually so composed - completely broken over the woman he loved was almost too much to bear.
Finally, Matt’s strength gave out. His body, already weakened and worn from the medication, was quickly reaching its limit. He slowly leaned forward, resting his head gently on the edge of Y/N’s bed, his cheek pressed close to her hip. He stayed there, clinging to her like she was his lifeline, his breaths coming in soft gasps as he struggled to stay conscious.
"I’m here, Y/N... I’m right here." He whispered, his voice barely more than a breath. "I won’t leave you... I promise."
The pain was slowly fading, his body seeming to finally allow the medication to work its way through his system. Matt’s eyes grew heavier, his body sagging with exhaustion. But he didn’t want to sleep. He wanted to stay with her, to watch over her, to be there when she finally opened her eyes.
Dr. Patel watched him with a soft, sympathetic gaze. She could see how much this was costing him, but she also understood that this was what he needed.
"We’ll let him stay for a little longer." She said quietly to Chris and Nick, who both nodded gratefully. "But you must agree that, if anything changes, if he starts showing signs of distress, you call for me immediately.”
"We will." Chris promised, his voice low and earnest. Nick nodded in agreement, his eyes never leaving Matt.
With that, the doctor and nurse quietly exited the room, leaving the three brothers alone with Y/N. The room was dim and quiet. The only sound was the soft beeping of the monitors and the occasional muffled sniffle from Nick or Chris.
Matt finally let the exhaustion pull him under, his breathing evening out as he drifted into a fitful sleep. His fingers were still wrapped loosely around Y/N’s hand, and his head rested against her side as if he could protect her even in his sleep.
༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
Several hours passed in quiet vigil. Chris and Nick stayed sat on the small couch by the wall, watching over Matt and Y/N like silent guardians, their hearts heavy with worry but relieved that, for now, their family was still holding on.
As the soft light of dawn began to creep through the tiny window in Y/N’s room, there was a faint stirring.
The world around her was a hazy blur, everything out of focus and spinning, like she was caught in a dream she couldn’t quite wake up from. There were distant beeps and muffled voices, but they all seemed so far away, like she was listening from underwater.
A faint, familiar smell flooded her nose. Matt. Or is it Nick? It was something like strawberries or maybe coconut. She couldn’t tell, but it was comforting enough. She tried to move, to lift her heavy eyelids, but her entire body felt like it was weighed down by an invisible force.
After what felt like an eternity, Y/N finally managed to blink her eyes open, the harsh bright lights above her making her squint. The ceiling was white and sterile, and as her vision adjusted, she could make out the faint sounds of machines beeping rhythmically around her. Her mind was foggy, like a thick cloud had settled over her thoughts, and it took her a moment to realize where she was.
A hospital. She could feel something tight around her ribs, a dull, throbbing pain in her head, and an odd numbness throughout her limbs that made it difficult to move. Her throat was dry, like sandpaper, and when she tried to swallow, it sent a sharp ache down to her chest.
Panic started to bubble up in her chest, her heart rate quickening as fragmented memories began to resurface - the blaring headlights, the screech of tires, and the sudden, jarring impact that had stolen her breath away. She let out a small, pained whine, her chest tightening as she tried to remember more, but it was all so blurry, so confusing.
A voice cut through the haze, it sounded quiet but rough, like it had been scraped raw.
"Y/N? Hey, it’s okay... you’re okay."
She turned her head slowly, every movement feeling like she was wading through thick mud. The face that came into focus was familiar, a face that brought her the feeling of home amidst the confusion.
Nick.
Y/N’s eyes blinked slowly, struggling to focus on the two faces in front of her. She was still groggy, the world around her hazy, but the concerned expressions of Chris and Nick gradually came into focus. Her brows furrowed slightly, confusion clouding her tired gaze.
"N-Nick...? Chris...?" She mumbled, her voice rough and barely audible. Her throat was parched, every word scraping against the dryness.
Nick let out a shaky laugh, tears gathering in his eyes.
"Oh my god, I was so... I'm so glad you're back." He whispered, his voice breaking with a mixture of relief and emotion. He stepped closer, reaching out to gently brush a strand of hair away from her face.
Chris nodded, his face lighting up with the first real smile in what felt like an eternity.
"We’ve been really worried about you, Y/N." He murmured, his voice thick with emotion. "You’re a fighter, you know that?"
Y/N tried to smile, but even that felt like lifting a mountain.
"What... what happened?" She asked, her voice weak, her words slurred from the medication and anesthesia coursing through her veins. "I... I remember the crash. I remember..." She trailed off as she recalled the moment of impact, the way everything had gone black in an instant. "It all happened so fast."
Nick’s eyes filled with tears, and he traveled his hand from her hair to her shoulder, squeezing the covered skin tightly.
"It was... it was really bad. But you are here now, okay? You made it through the surgery. You’re safe."
"Surgery?" The word sent a chill down her spine. She tried to remember, but everything after the crash was a blur. "What... what happened to me?" She asked, her voice barely more than a whisper.
Nick took a shaky breath, his grip on her tightening as if he needed the contact to ground himself before connecting his eyes with Chris's, begging for him to answer her.
"You had internal bleeding caused by some broken ribs." Chris explained gently, cleaning his throat to disguise the emotion in his voice. "You’ve been out for at least 15 hours after a four-hour surgery. And... and you hit your head really hard. But the doctors said the surgery was a success, and your concussion is mild. You’re going to be okay."
Y/N let out a shaky breath, the reality of it all crashing down on her. Surgery. Internal bleeding. The thought of how close she’d come to... She couldn’t finish the thought, the fear overwhelming her.
"Where... where’s Matt? Is he okay? Oh god, he was driving-"
Chris’s eyes softened, and he exchanged a glance with Nick.
"He’s right here, Y/N." Chris reassured her gently, pointing towards Matt's figure with his head.
Y/N’s gaze flickered downward, and her breath hitched when she finally registered for the first time Matt slumped over on the edge of her hospital bed, his head resting beside her hip. His brown hair was disheveled, and his face looked paler than she had ever seen, decorated with a variety of bruises and cuts, but he was breathing, his chest rising and falling steadily.
It was then that she noticed the weight of his fingers against hers, holding her hand firmly as if she could disappear at any moment.
"He’s been by your side from the minute he woke up..."
The sound of the boy's voice, combined with the familiar touch of his girlfriend, pulled Matt from the depths of his medication-induced sleep. His eyelids fluttered, a groggy groan escaping his lips as he slowly stirred awake. For a moment, he looked confused, his eyes unfocused as he blinked against the harsh lights.
But then, as his gaze settled on Y/N’s face, now wide awake and staring back at him with teary eyes, everything clicked into place. His heart leaped in his chest, and any remaining fog of sleep vanished instantly.
"Y/N?" He croaked, his voice raw with disbelief. His eyes widened as he looked at her, truly seeing her awake for the first time. "Oh my god... you’re... you're awake."
Y/N managed a weak smile, tears gathering in her eyes as well.
"Hey, baby. I'm here." She whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "You look like you’ve been through hell."
Matt let out a choked laugh, a mix of relief and joy bubbling up inside him. He quickly pulled himself closer to her, his hands shaking as he reached for her face, brushing his thumb tenderly over her bruised cheek.
"I thought... I thought I had lost you." He confessed, his voice breaking. "God, Y/N, I was so scared. I... I couldn’t-" His words were cut off by a sob he couldn’t contain, and he buried his face in her neck, pressing desperate kisses to her exposed skin, his curls tickling her chin in a grounding way.
Y/N’s heart ached at the sight and feeling of him so broken. With what little strength she had, she squeezed his fingers, trying to comfort him.
"I’m here, Matt." She whispered. "We’re okay. You don’t have to worry anymore."
Matt shook his head, his tears soaking her neck.
"I’m so, so sorry." He choked out between sobs. "I’m so sorry, Y/N. I should’ve protected you... I couldn't even-"
Y/N’s brows knitted together in confusion as she tried to process his words. She lifted a trembling hand to stroke his messy hair, trying to calm him down.
"Matt, baby, hey... where's this coming from?" She asked, her voice soft and full of concern as her eyes traveled momentarily to Chris and Nick, searching for an answer in them that they didn’t seem to have.
Matt just kept shaking his head, his sobs growing louder, muffled by her skin.
"It’s my fault... it’s all my fault." He whispered, his voice breaking. "I should’ve seen the car... I should’ve done something... God, you wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for me. I'm really, really sorry..."
Y/N’s confusion turned to anger as she realized what he was saying.
"Matt, look at me." She demanded, her voice suddenly stronger despite her weakened state.
He slowly lifted his tear-streaked face from her shoulder to meet her gaze momentarily, his eyes red and puffy.
"How can you blame yourself?" She asked, her voice tinged with disbelief. "You... Matt, there was nothing you could’ve done. A crazy driver was coming to our direction. You didn’t cause this."
"But... but I should’ve seen it sooner. I should’ve done more." Matt insisted, his voice cracking terribly. He couldn’t meet her eyes for more than a second, ashamed of the guilt that had consumed him. "You got hurt because of me... I should be the one lying in there, not you."
"Don't you dare say something like that, Matthew." Y/N said firmly, her fingers gripping his hand as tightly as she could manage. "Listen to me. It was not your fault. There was nothing you could have done to stop it." She let out a shaky breath, her eyes softening as her free hand traveled to his face, softly brushing away the tears from his cheeks. "I’m okay, Matt... because of you. You were there. You kept me safe until help came."
Her words only made Matt’s tears flow harder, dripping directly where her fingers met his skin, his sobs causing his body to tremble and his ribs to ache, but there was a shift in his eyes, a flicker of something like relief. He didn’t fully believe her, but hearing her say it, seeing the sincerity in her expression, it was like a balm to his raw, bleeding heart.
"You did everything you could, baby. You saved my life. If it wasn’t for you..." Y/N couldn’t even finish the sentence; the thought was too painful to bear. To lose a life with the love of her existence.
Matt sniffled, pressing the side of his face against her palm and wiping the other side of it with the back of his hand, still holding on to Y/N like she was the only thing keeping him afloat.
Nick and Chris watched the whole scene unfold in silence, their hearts heavy with the raw emotions in the room. Chris discreetly wiped away a tear while Nick stood there, his arms crossed over his chest as if trying to hold himself together.
"I love you so much." Matt whispered, nuzzling against her hand. "I can't even picture a life without you."
"I love you too, Matt." Y/N murmured back, her fingers weakly squeezing his. "But you don’t have to picture anything. I’m right here."
Matt let out a shaky breath, nodding.
"Now, why don't the both of you rest a little bit more?" Nick's voice seemed to remind them of the brother's presence. "It will do good for your healing process." Y/N's eyes lifted to the oldest momentarily before nodding slowly.
As the room settled into a comfortable silence, Matt gently laid his head back down on the bed, still holding Y/N’s hand as if it was his lifeline. Y/N stroked his hair softly, her heart aching with love and relief.
For the first time in what felt like forever, they could finally breathe. They were together, alive, and that was all that mattered.

over the moon ❀ s. reid x reader
in which a bout of insomnia prompts the usage of your arguably overworked baking equipment.
pairing: spencer reid x fem!reader genre: fluff tags: established relationship. cliché flour fight into kissing... sorry... no i'm not. use of pet names. make out sesh (obviously). word count: 1.4k a/n: also known as spencer and reader take on the margotlia bucket list for margovember!!! happy birthday to my lover @pathologicalreid!!! who has very quickly become my other half on this silly little side of tumblr. a prophet told me there are snickerdoodle cookies and a smithsonian date with our names on it in our futures ♡
"Honey, please tell me the light on in the kitchen is you getting a glass of water."
Like a deer in headlights, you're frozen in your beelined pathway between the fridge and the countertop of Spencer's kitchen, the carton of eggs in your hands preventing any attempt of a lie to him.
"Uh..." Your eyes lock with his, and he's visibly deflating upon spotting the pantry's baking ingredients arranged in front of you. "I'm just getting water?"
"I didn't realise you put sticks of butter into your water," he counters, voice meticulously picking apart your lie in front of your face. "Does that taste good?"
"Yes?"
"I'm sure," he nods his head, his feet carrying him over to you behind the counter. "What recipe have you chosen to victimise today?"
"Snickerdoodle cookies," you mumble, as his arms wrap around your waist, and his chin sits on your shoulder, eyes peering at your phone screen that had the cookie recipe open.
"Any particular reason?"
"I couldn't sleep," you explain. "Did I wake you up?"
"Yeah," he nods, and a beat passes where you mumble a quiet apology to him, before he's pulling away from you and picking up your phone. "Where do we start?"
It wasn't the first time you had baked instead of sleeping, and it certainly wasn't the first time Spencer had woken up to the sound of your hand mixer combining sugar and butter, or the oven timer dinging to accompany the smell of freshly baked muffins. In fact, he had become accustomed to not getting through an entire fortnight without at least one tray of baked goods taking up counter space.
It was the first time he had offered to help you, though. He either accompanied you and watched you bake, or sat at his desk to get paperwork done (he said he should use the extra time spent conscious wisely).
"You don't have to help," you're shaking your head, but he's already going to the sink to wash his hands.
"You only slept for two hours before waking up to do this. I'd like to get you back to bed sooner rather than later," he answers, patting his hands dry. "I won't sleep until you do, anyways."
"Okay," you relent, staring at him almost stunned, before you return to the recipe you had up on your phone. "Um... could you combine the sugar and butter?"
Baking with Spencer Reid seemed to make everything a lot easier. Ignoring the obvious (the help an extra set of hands provided), his eidetic memory meant you could throw a step his way, and he'd know exactly what he was doing. Having asked him to add the eggs to his sugar and butter mix, he was already separating the yolk from the whites before you needed to say a thing.
"Have you ever stuck your hand into flour?" you ask him, and he lifts his head, eyebrows frowning together.
"No. Why would I do that?"
"To know what it feels like," you say, dryly, though there isn't any malice behind it. "Have you never wanted to know what it feels like?"
"You can use context clues to figure out what it would feel like," he replies. "Correct?"
"Spencer, you're entirely missing the point," you shake your head, and though he lifts his head from his sugar-butter-and-egg mixture to question you, he doesn't even remotely expect a large fistful of flour to explode across his chest.
Then, you're laughing, and he's still battling with the initial shock of your flour attack for a few more seconds to laugh with you. But, when he does, he's almost mocking with it, and your face falls when he's putting his own hand into the container labelled flour, lifting it, and dragging his hand over your stomach.
"Oh my God!" you say through a laugh, looking down at the smear of flour on your t-shirt. "Spencer!"
"Reap what you can sow," he retorts.
So, you do.
You aren't too sure when the flour fighting gets more intimate. Somewhere between your fingers running it through his hair, and his hands landing on your ass, as he tugs you into him.
You're heaving, though the smile on your face is perfect, and he's certain he might be falling in love with you all over again. Cheeks stained in flour and all.
"Hello," you sing, lifting your chin up to smile at him.
"Hi, sweet girl," he replies, ducking his head down to brush his lips against yours, and you pull a face at the faint taste of flour on them.
Your finger lifts up to brush his lower lip, face growing concentrated as you brush the powder off it. "You've got a little... something..."
"Do I?" he asks, condescendingly, and you're firmly nodding your head.
"Yep. This is why I bake alone, Spencer Reid," you tut.
His eyebrows raise. "I don't know if I want to even try to prove you wrong."
"I wouldn't recommend it."
"Duly noted. Anything you do recommend?"
You pause. "Kissing me might help in my journey of forgiving you for this mess."
If he's got any plan to defend himself, it crumbles beneath the words of your request, and his lips are stretching into a smile.
"I'll do whatever I can."
His lips have a film on them from the brushed away flour, making them softer than they usually are, as he presses them against yours. Hands that were once resting almost teasingly on your ass lift to your hips, and your own drop to the countertop behind him as you lean into him.
As you usually feel in your slow moments like this with him, you feel your heart soar, your head tilting to the side as you accomodate his face being so close to your own.
Arguably, his favourite thing about kissing you for longer than half a second, is the mewls and hums that leave your lips. Never too much to prompt anything more, but instead just enough to tell him just how much you enjoy kissing him. A feeling that is entirely mutual.
As soon as it starts, it's over. Which can't really be true, for you are panting when his head pulls away from yours, and he's got that glassy look in his eyes that always makes your body warm.
"We need to go shower," he murmurs, breath warm against your skin.
You want to decline, just to stay standing right there in the kitchen with him, the urge to keep kissing him almost overwhelming. But his fingers have lifted to brush against a patch of flour on your neck, and you're surrendering at the feeling.
"Okay."
Thus, forty-five minutes and one unreasonably long shower later, you were standing back in the kitchen, a bowl with cinnamon and sugar in front of you. Spencer's t-shirt hanging off your body — after you had expertly coerced him into letting you wear it — and a fork in your hands as you whisk the two toppings together.
He's sitting on a stool on the other side of the bench, stirring the dough together after you had complained it was too thick. He argued it was supposed to be.
Heading over to Spencer once the cinnamon and sugar was combined in a bowl, you mumble, "Okay. 'm tired," your head buried into the crook of his neck.
"Yeah, weaponising that flour probably exhausted some energy," he muses, letting go of the wooden spoon to wrap his arms around you. "We still need to bake these, though."
"Cookie dough is yummy too," you retort, hand reaching out to pinch a piece of the dough.
"Cookie dough isn't safe for you to eat," he answers, catching your wrist before you can get ahold of any batter. Upon seeing your pout, combined with the tired look in your eyes, he relents, letting you pick up a small piece just to eat. "How about we put this in the fridge, and we bake them tomorrow?"
"I like that plan."
"I thought you would."
Helping him with the clean up consisted of you putting the dough in the fridge and cinnamon sugar in the pantry, and him doing... everything else. He didn't seem to mind, though, and his hands found their place on your waist as he walked you back towards the bedroom.
"C'mon, sleepy girl."
He laughs at your incoherent grumble towards the name calling, letting you drag him back into the bed adorned with wrinkled sheets.
"Thanks for baking with me," you say, voice layered with your exhaustion as you're curling up next to him.
"Thanks for attacking me with flour."
"And I'd do it again."
your reblogs and replies are always appreciated ♡

━━━━⊱♡⊰━━━━
With a sigh you pull out your phone, the blue light illuminating your face in the dark night. Just to find you have no cell signal this far out, of course. You try calling a few people but not a single call would go through. A simple dial tone rang out much to your dismay. Leaning back against the bumper of your car, you can feel the heat radiating off your exposed engine. You look towards the propped open hood of your tired vehicle.
The hissing machinery creates a pillar of steam when mixing with the chilled October air. Your leg bounces nervously while your eyes scan the surrounding forest. There are no street lights, no houses, not even the sound of cars whizzing by on a nearby roadway. Just dark woods and the crickets chirping. You mentally curse yourself and your friends for convincing you to drive so far out on your own.
You spend a long twenty minutes going back and forth between trying to find service along the road way and seeking warmth in the shelter of your car. Your costume doesn't provide much cover against the autumn cold. Clad only in a restricting corset top, tiny ruffled shorts, fishnet stocking, and shiny white heels. Topped off with a pair of fuzzy bunny ears fixed to a headband and a little white tail attached right above your butt. It looked better in your mirror at home when you were imagining sitting in a hot crowded house party surrounded by familiar faces.
Your focus breaks from the car's owner manual when you hear a distant rumbling. You hop out of the driver's side seat and look to see a blinding set of headlights coming your way. As the lights come closer at a rapid speed you wave and step closer to the asphalt to catch the driver's attention.
Thankfully it begins to slow and rumbles to a stop a few feet short of your car. The driver kills the engine along with the annoyingly bright LEDs. Thet turn their hazard lights on, bathing the area in a blinking orange glow. You are stunned for a moment while your sight adjusts back to the dim night. You make out the shape of a large pickup truck through spotted vision. Its boxy silhouette shows a vehicle past its prime and out of style. You take that as a good sign thinking the owner must know something about taking care of cars.
The driver's side door creaks open and out comes a pair of boots dropping onto the roadside. When they slam the door you see a large shadow saunter towards you. Heavy steps crunch on the earth below.
"Thanks for stopping" You cross your exposed arms over your chest hoping they don't see the way you're shaking. You pretend like this isn't a total horror movie scene right now. Telling yourself the shivers are from the frigid air, not fear.
"You alright?" A thickly accented english voice asks. The figure finally reaches you. You have to crane your neck up to look him in the face, his broadness could swallow your quivering frame.
"Yeah, I'm fine. My car not so much" you gesture back to the front of your lifeless automobile. He looks over you and hums in understanding.
"I can take a look for you," He steps past and takes in the sight under your hood. “What happened?” He takes a moment to unbutton the cuffs of his shirt and scrunch up the sleeves.
“I don't know. I was just driving and then I heard some weird sounds then it started driving funny.” you attempt to explain.
“What kind of sounds?” he asks.
“I don’t know,” you shrug.
“Like a rattling, a pop, what?”
“If I am being completely honest I had the radio up kinda loud so I can’t really remember. I just know I heard something then it started to shake and slow down.”
You watch as he leans forward, large hands braced against the low bumper. "Do you have a flashlight?" his tone is flat, is he mad at you?
"Yeah," you pull your phone and click on the flashlight. You stand on the side of the car and try to hold it steady with both of your shaking hands.
"You can come a little closer," he looks up and smiles. "I don't bite"
You give a nervous chuckle and step around to the front of the car. Still careful to keep a good amount of distance from the stranger.
"Can you- here let me just," his large hand wraps around your wrist and gently draws your hand further out until you're almost bent over reaching across the space. "That's better."
He checks different areas, twisting and tapping on a few parts. Checking the levels of the various fluids. Occasionally repositioning the angle of your flashlight with a firm yet polite adjustment of your arm.
"Have you called anyone yet?" His gentle eyes look up from underneath his thick brow.
You hesitate for a moment considering the implication of your answer. He holds your stare as you try not to appear nervous. "Yes, I called roadside assistance but they won't be here for a while. They know I'm here though." You rush out a lie.
"Hm, yeah we're pretty out" he looks back at the machinery. He stands up straight, brushes his hands off on the thighs of his jeans. "Looks like you're not going anywhere."
Your stomach tightens and you pull back your flashlight leaving you both in the darkness.
"I can fix it but I'm going to need to go back to my place and grab some tools" He pulls the hood of your car down and slams it shut. "Or you can wait for the guy to get here. You'll be waiting for a while though"
You hold your phone tight in your palm feeling torn between trusting this stranger or going back to being stranded. "Um," it's hard to think with the constant waves of shivers going through you.
"Or you can stay here in the middle of the woods by yourself. Up to you," He pulls his keys from his pocket with a jingle and walks around you, back in the direction of his truck.
You look between your own car, the dark tree line, and the tall man getting further away.
"Okay!" You call to him. He turns and watches as you reach into your open car door to grab your purse and keys. You lock the door behind you and walk towards him.
You hear his door squeak open then his truck rev to life you. You quicken your pace to reach the passenger side, not wanting to be left alone here for another second. Before you can grab the handle he is reached over the long bench seat pushing to open from the inside.
"Glad you could make it," his cheeky smile causes his eyes to crinkle in the corners.
"Better than getting mauled by a bear" You haul yourself up and into the seat. The interior is still warm which allows you to relax a bit while your shiver subside. You take in the roomy cab of his truck. Nice leather seat, very clean, smells good. Surely he is just a kind older man wanting ti help out a stranded, clueless woman.
"You'd be alright. Bears normally hunt in the mornings. Bobcats on the other hand, that's what you've got to watch out for." He places his hand on the gear shifter, "Seatbelt," and nods down towards the unclipped buckle.
"Okay but first, can you promise you're not going to kidnap or kill me?" You stare him down as he holds a faint smile.
"I'm not going to kill you," he chuckles
"You see, that's exactly what a murderer would say," you are only half joking with that statement but buckle yourself in anyways.
"I guess you're going to have to trust me then" He focuses his eyes forward and pulls onto the road.
"I don't even know your name."
"I don't know yours either" he counters
"Fair enough," you consider it for a moment before telling him your name, and he tells you his.
"I don’t mean to be rude but, what's with the outfit?" he glanced your way for a moment. You don't miss the way his eyes trace down your figure.
"I'm a bunny, duh." You point to the fluffy ears fixed to your headband. His brows remains drawn in confusion. "It's halloween," you continue stating the obvious.
"Is it?" he finally puts it together. "My work has been hectic. It's easy to lose track of time. Heading to a party, then?" he asks.
"Was. I think I took a wrong turn a few miles back but I lost my cell signal so, I couldn’t get the map to load. Then my car died."
"That's some bad luck. Maybe you should look into getting a lucky rabbit's foot." He raises his eyebrows and chuckles.
"Ha ha," you respond humorlessly. "Look, the costume would've been a lot better with my friend. She's supposed to be a magician. Y'know like a magician pulls the white rabbit out of the hat."
"Right," he nods.
"Yeah, but it looks like I won't be making it tonight. I'm not too upset though. I'm not much of a party person."
"No?"
"No way, I'm a homebody. I hardly ever leave my house if I'm being honest. I work from home too so that keeps me pretty busy. Wow, sorry I didn’t mean to tell you my whole life story," you chuckle nervously.
"’S alright, I don’t mind. Your boyfriend doesn't take you out?" he asks.
"Boyfriend? No, I don't have a boyfriend."
"Sorry, I just assumed. I mean, you're a pretty girl. Hard to believe you don't have someone to look after you."
"Oh, thanks" a bashful blush rises up your cheeks. "Like I said, I don't get out much. Not many opportunities to meet people. Which is part of the reason my friend gets so mad at me. I've canceled on her the past three times she has asked me to hang out. She had to beg me to come tonight. I kind of feel bad though. She's probably going to think I bailed again."
"When we get back to my place you can use my phone to give her a call if you'd like," he offered.
"Yeah, I probably should."
Looking out the windshield you can make out speckles of light ahead, breaking up the dense forest. John makes a final turn and you find yourself pulling up to a very nice cabin. Wood paneling lined the exterior framing several expansive windows which emit a warm yellow light behind the closed curtains. The glass panels stretch high to the sloped asymmetrical ceiling. The architecture looks straight out of the seventies.
"Wow, this is your place?" you ask in amazement. "What do you do for work?"
"I work for the government," he states simply before turning off the truck and exiting. He walks around to your side and opens your door. He offers his hand to you which you shyly take as you hop down from the elevated cab. "Your hands are cold," he gives your hand a small squeeze fully enveloping it in his palm. "Let's get you warmed up inside."
He ushers you up the driveway, his hand now transitioned to your lower back. You can't deny the way his touch makes your stomach flip. He opens the door and you step into the cozy home.
You are greeted by a vast living room. A long espresso colored leather sofa sits among matching chairs all facing towards a large stone fireplace. The space is washed in varying shades of warm browns and oranges. A beautiful thick rug lays across the glossy hardwood.
"Sit, let me get you a drink. Would you like some tea, coffee, a beer?"
"I'll have a coffee," with your confirmation he stepped through the living room to the connecting kitchen. Your eyes follow him as he disappears through the doorway. "Government job, huh? You must be very important." You step to one of the bookshelves that sit on either side of the fireplace. Scanning the many titles there.
"I guess you could say that." He laughs. "Do you take cream and sugar?"
"Yes, please." Your finger grazes the spines of the books. Many biographies and historical nonfiction among his collection sprinkled in with survival guides and warfare tactics.
"How about some Bailey's?"
"Sure,” you shrug. Maybe a little spiked coffee and make you relax a little.
He reappears with two steaming mugs in each hand. He offers one to you which you happily accept. Wrapping both hands around the cup, allowing the hot drink to unfreeze your fingers. He holds his gaze while he takes a sip and then releases a gravelly groan in satisfaction. You follow suit taking a sip, feeling the warmth descend in your throat and radiate in your chest.
"Not bad?"
"No, not at all, thank you,” you smile sweetly.
"How about a fire? Get you warmed up and then I'll go grab those tools, ay?" He doesn't allow you to answer before he sets his mug on the coffee table and kneels in front of the fireplace.
You sit on the couch and watch while he makes quick work of getting the fire started. It's not long until he nurses the little flame into a roaring fire. He grabs a few fresh logs to throw on top before getting up and taking a seat next to you.
"Feeling better?" He asks as grabs his drink once more and settles into the cushions, arm slung across the back of the couch behind you.
"Much" With your cup now half empty you begin to feel the alcohol go straight to your head. You aren't surprised though. You haven't eaten all day in order to fit into this strangling outfit.
"I like your costume, by the way. I don't think I said that earlier. Not sure if I would've stopped if you didn't look so cute" His hand reaches from behind you and flicks your artificial ears.
"Hey" You adjust the head piece back in place. "This was a lot of work to put together, I'll have you know." You attempt to convey your seriousness but can't help the giggle that escapes.
"Oh, I can tell." His hand slips down from the back cushion to brush across your bare shoulder. The light touch makes your skin erupt in a flurry of goosebumps. "You're still pretty cold, bunny. Let me get you something warmer to put on."
"I'm okay, really. I'll warm up." You take another long sip on your hot beverage. "I feel fine."
"I insist" He rises from the couch and politely holds a hand out for you.
You are hesitant for a moment but seeing the persistence settled on his face you accept. "Alright," you relent.
He leads you down a dim corridor to the last room on the right. He pushes open the cracked door to reveal his neat bedroom. Very much resembling the rest of the house. A giant perfectly made bed sits in the center of the clean area. Makes sense considering the large man that sleeps in it. A lone lamp illuminates the room giving it a hazy appearance. Or maybe that's just your clouded mind.
He steps past you towards his dresser and pulls open one of the drawers. He pulls out a large shirt then a pair of pajama pants and hands them to you. "Not sure how well these will fit but it'll be more comfortable, I'm sure"
"Too bad" You look down at the folded clothes in your hand. "Feels like a total waste of a costume."
His eyes scan down your body once more. "I don't think so" He walks past you towards the door. "I sure got a kick out of it" He smiles and turns to close the door on his way out.
"John," you rush out before he goes.
"Hm?"
"Can you, um-" You look over your shoulder at him. Still facing away from him. "Can you untie me?" gesturing to the lace up back to your corset.
"Yeah, uh,” he clears his throat. “I can do that" he takes measured steps towards you. As though a hunter may quietly stalk up to its prey.
You look forward again and stand up a little straighter when his warm hands rest on your shoulders. They slowly slide down your back and onto the dense fabric. Fingers trailing over the layer of ribbon and boning. Finally he reaches the large bow at the base of your back. You feel the ribbon unwind to hang limply. Edges skimming the back of your thighs.
His strong fingers wedge themselves in the gaps between the laces. Tugging each intersection with meticulous movements so as not to throw you off balance. Your hands rush to press the front of your corset to your chest when you feel it begin to slip. At last you can take a full breath.
Feeling his touch retreat after finishing the task you turn back towards him. Neck craning up to meet his eyes. The height difference was much more apparent from this close proximity.
"Thank you,” your voice coming out just over a whisper.
"It's no trouble" He matches your hushed tone.
Your heart is beating out of your chest. Maybe it was the drink, or the fact that you were touch starved, perhaps even the fact that it was halloween but you felt bold. Bold enough to release your hands and allow the undone corset to fall to the ground below.
Without a moment's hesitation John harshly grabs the back of your neck and smashes his mouth into yours as if thats the sign he’s been waiting for. Lips collide in a hot rush. His stong arms pull you flush against his broad frame. Deep groans rumble from his chest.
Your sluggish movements make you struggle to keep up with his hectic pace. Your hands sliding up his neck to tug at his cropped hair. One particular harsh tug draws a growl from him.
He walks you backwards across the room until the back of your tight clad legs meet the soft comforter. He releases his hold and you fall backwards onto the mattress.
He towers over you. His chest heaves with each breath as he stares you down. Your stomach flutters, unsure if it is due to excitement or fear. You begin scoot backwards up the bed but as you make your way towards the pillows his hand encircles one of your ankles.
"Not so fast little, bunny," he tugs your leg harshly and pulls you back towards him. He doesn't waste time as he dips his fingers into your tiny ruffled shorts yanking them down in one swift motion.
He climbs over you, wedging his thigh between your legs. His hand maneuvers around your lower back and behind your neck. He pulls you back into a heated kiss.
You feel the pressure from his muscular thigh press against you. You unconsciously grind your hips into his leg while he swipes his tongue across your bottom lip. He assists in your movements as he grips your hips, rocking you back and forth.
"That's it, pretty," he leans down to mumble in your ear. "I can feel you soaking through those little panties," then giving your earlobe a nip.
Moans slip from you with each movement. Rutting pathetically, unable to stop yourself as you near closer to your edge. He dips down to your neck expertly finding your sensitive points. Biting your pulse then soothing it with his tongue. The friction from his jeans rubs against your little cotton underwear and fishnets.
"John, please," you whine, unsure of what you're asking.
"Go ahead sweet girl, cum for me." His powerful grip digging into your waist.
With his words of approval paired with his hot mouth moving along your throat, you begin to unwind. Tipping over the edge, your legs tightening around his own. The knot in your stomach finally snaps. Back arching into him and loud moans pouring from you. A rush of heat fills you and until you finally slump back into the bedding.
John loosened his hold around you. A hand coming up to move hair away from your face. "You're a dirty little girl, aren't you? Humping my leg to get off. Nasty thing, you are."
A blush of embarrassment rising across your already flushed face. The shame morphs back into lust as you feel a tightness reform in your stomach.
John sits back on his knees and begins to unbutton his shirt. Your eyes can't help but to land on the massive bulge formed in his pants. A thick outline straining against the restricting denim. He finishes stripping off his shirt revealing his burly chest. You sit up to run your hands down his bare skin. Leaving kisses along the line of hair leading from his chest into his happy trail.
Your hands skim lower to find the buckle of his belt. You make quick work unbuckling and unfastening of his jeans. Hurriedly yanking down the offending material just enough to give way to his tight boxers. Your mouth salivates at the sight of his hard cock straining through the thin material.
Before you can rip away the final layer he grabs your wrists. “Not so fast,” he chuckled. Gathering both your wrist into one of his hands easily he uses the other to swiftly pull his belt from it loops. He takes the belt and wraps it around your wrists, securing them tightly together.
“Needy girl,” he mumbles. His rough palms traced down your arms then along your waist. “Taking whatever you want,” his fingers skim along the pattern of your fishnets. “It’s my turn now, bunny,” once he reaches your still clothed center. Finger grip the threads of your tights and rip them open. Completely tearing the flimsy strands to fully expose your panties.
He slides his fingers across your sensitive clothed cunt making your hips thrust into him. “Oh, bunny. You’re soaked,” his eyes flick back up to meet yours. The black of his pupil now blown out almost completely consuming the previously blue iris.
He takes your bound wrists and pulls them over his head. Your arms now wrapped around his neck, your bare chest flush against his. He pulls you into his lap, your legs straddling his hips. Not bothered enough to fully undress he jerks down the waistband of his boxers. Allowing his thick cock to spring out. Fingers frantically pulling aside the drenched material of your panties, exposing your throbbing heat.
He grinds his hips up to meet yours. Sliding his cock easily through your wet folds.
“Oh god,” you whimpered as his head rubs against your sensitive clit. “Please, fuck me”
Needing no more prompting he pulls your hips back and lines himself up with your needy hole but not yet entering. “You want this?” He dips just the tip of his head in, teasing your dripping entrance.
“Yes, please,” you beg, looking at him through your lashes. You desperately try to grind your hips down but he holds you in place.
“What good manners you have,” he continues to tease and thrusts the tiniest movements, never fully entering.
“John, I can’t wait anymore, please, just- please. I need it. I-” Your string of pitiful begging is interrupted when he finally yanks your hips down. His length fills you completely in one smooth thrust. Your eyes roll back at the sensation as he fills you to the hilt.
He lets out a guttural moan once he is fully inside of you. “You’re so fucking tight,” he groans. His head dropped in the crook of your neck, biting the soft skin there. Mustache and stubble scratching along your collarbone. You yelp at the pain of his bite but he doesn't relent. Your pussy tightens around him as his teeth sink into the tender flesh.
His arms move from their grip on your hips and fully wrap around your back. He begins to thrust up into you. Not easing into the movement as he immediately drives his hips up at a brutal pace. As if he were unable to wait another second.
Unable to grip into anything with your bound hands, you find purchase digging your nails into the leather of the belt. Your head tipping back limply as you can only take his cruel ministrations.
“Is this what you wanted?” He grits out through his teeth, each word punctuated by his hips driving up into you. His cock pounds into your cervix making a flurry or stars burst behind your eyelids at every hit. “Is this what you’ve been needing? A good fucking?”
You mumble out a pathetic, “Mhm,” unable to fully process his words. His fingers dig into your shoulder and back. You are fully engulfed by this giant brute of a man.
“I know you do. I knew from the moment I saw you. Looking so sweet on the side of the road.” He chuckles darkly. Continuing to hold you tight against him he leans forward until your back hits the comforter. Your legs lock around his back while he holds your hips in place. The new angle has him pounding into your sweet spot over and over. The friction of his hair rubbing onto your clit creates the building of renewed heat in your stomach.
“You gonna cum again, pretty? Let me see you do it,” his thrusts slow from the frantic pace to a slower harder stroke. His arms lay on either side of your head while he studies your features. Hard length easing out of you slow enough for you to feel each ridge and vein. Then jerking his hip harshly back in.
Your head was feeling fuzzy. A drop of salvia trailed out of your lips and down your cheek. Your high was getting closer with each thrust. Eyelids fluttering shut as you feel the knot tighten in your stomach. So close to release. Your walls contract around him causing your legs to tighten, toes curling.
“Hey,” John snaps harshly. When he receives no response he gives you a light smack on the cheek. Hard enough to make your eyes pop open in shock. “Look at me, pretty girl. I need to see those eyes,” his words sound warm but he grips your jaw in place with a stern hold.
Your eyes flutter while you struggle to keep them focused on him. Coming closer to the edge. “Come on, you can do it. Don’t make you give you another smack. I don’t want to hit you, pretty girl. Don’t make me” his tone dripping in condensation. “That’s it, give it to me. I wanna see you come undone, bunny.”
Then you snap. A series of shockwaves ravages your tired body. Shooting sparks of electricity race through your limbs. Your unfocused eyes stayed fixed on him throughout your climax. Your back arches high into his chest. Fingers ball up tight, desperate for something to grip. Your mouth drop open agape in a silent cry. Tear form in the corners of your eyes threatening to spill from the over stimulation. His harsh movements not granting you mercy in your fraile state.
“God, I can feel you squeezing me. Oh, pretty girl, I'm gonna fill your sweet cunt,” he moans. Hips increase in pace as your tense muscle loosen in exhaustion.
“Wait-” You murmur, hardly able to get your words out. Only a string of incoherent mumblings follow. Your brain is completely clouded. You know you can’t let him finish inside. “Please, no,” you whimper. “Can’t”
“It’s gonna be okay, sweet girl. I’ve got you. I’m gonna fill you up and maybe I’ll get you pregnant.” He says with a wicked smile. “You want to be my little house bunny? Fuck you until you get big and round. Walk around pregnant barefoot,”
Alarm bells ring in your ears but you aren’t able to fight against his strong hold. Your limbs remain weak. Useless to pull away from his embrace “Please” you whine, “I can’t”
“You can, bunny.” His thrusts grow erratic, losing their rhythm. “Gonna be such a pretty mommy,” His hand slipped underneath your head allowing thick fingers to tangle into your hair. His hands closing into a fist giving the strands a sharp tug. The other hand wanders down to your hips. Holding you firmly in place with a bruising grip.
With one final thrust he releases a loud, guttural groan. Teeth bared in exertion as he reaches his own climax. Cock pulsing inside of you, draining his seed into your weeping womb. All you can do is tighten your jaw as you attempt to push, kick, scream, anything but you just lie there. The faintest gasp leaves you when you feel his warm load pool inside of you.
“You made it so easy for me,” he laughs. “You just got in my truck. Walked into my house. Silly girl, you don’t even know me. Didn’t anyone ever teach you not to talk to strangers.”
He gives a few more gentle pumps before pulling out completely. Leaving your aching cunt feeling empty. He leans back and stares down, watching him cum drip out of your still quivering cunt.
“You know, I put something in your drink. Took a little while to take, though. Got to you just in time I think. I was going to wait but you wanted it, didn’t you? I like seeing that dumb look in your eyes.” He grabs your jaw and moves your head back and forth while you stare blankly back at him.
“Couldn’t let a little bunny like you get away, could I?

being new to the city you weren't aware of the roads you weren't supposed to take; and yeah the road was quiet which was weird, but you didn't question it.
“why didn't you just take a cab?” chaeryoung, your roommate asked , “it's the quickest way to the apartment.” she was right it was the quickest way back to your shared apartment, but being new and all you just wanted to take a look at the city. “night time surely isn't the best time to do that but all right.” she said. “i know but i'm almost home , wait up for me yeah?” she hummed. “okay.”
you hung up; continuing down the road, unbeknownst to you, the street you used wasn't always quiet, in fact it was the loudest street at night and you'd soon find out why.
jeno pulled up to the lot , street full of motorcycles and other people waiting for the show. “you're late.” haechan said. “yeah well i had a class, i couldn't just leave.” he said. “look at you trying to be all studious.” he rolled his eyes at the boy. “where's mark, need to know who im racing today.” haechan pointed to the older boy who was chatting up some girl. “renjun knows ask him.”
“jaemin and some new kid.” renjun told the boy. “new kid is over there, jaemin will probably be your only competition tonight.” he smirked. “jaemin? my competition please?” the other overheard this , his arm was wrapped around one of the many girls who'd come and watch them ride. “you scare jeno lee?” he smirked. “please jaemin when was the first time you've won against me?”
“you wanna bet on it?” jeno didn't really care about money, he loved the thrill of speeding down a road; that doesn't mean he was gonna pass up. “$100?” he shook hands with the boy. “both of you gear up , it's time to hit the road.”
the cheers were loud; the motors from the three motorcycles roared as they waited for mark’s call. “remember be careful, don't die; i won't be the one calling your parent's.” he turned to the scared newbie, turning to jaemin who was too busy making out with a girl to notice; this was gonna be too easy. “jaemin!” jisung another racer called. “i'm ready.” he said putting his helmet on.
“alright you guys ready” mark shouted over the screams, jeno focused on the road. “go!” jeno took off , speeding down the road , this is the part he loved , hitting the gas hard, speeding up down the road that no one ever used; so he wasn't suspecting someone to be crossing the road.
the loud music blasting through your headphones as you came up on the street end of the street; ready to cross the street— maybe you should've looked both ways like you were taught as a young child, or even taken the your headphones off; because if you did you would've heard the motorcycle that's was bolting down the road. stepping out into the street , the only thing finally catching your attention was the light; looking up, the only thing you could brace for was death— but it never came.
he was in the lead; coming up on the turn that would put close to the finish line. the light from his bike was bright so he could see the road in front of him; he didn't even notice you; until he did and it was too late to beep the horn or slow down, your eyes finally connecting with his , you were an actual deer in the headlights, he took a hard right, a quick turn around he saw you on the ground , shocked.
he kept going; he almost hit you and he kept going. turning the corner after almost hitting the pole, you were in shock; quickly standing up out of the street , running across the rest of the street, you were in luck too because two more motorcycles came roaring down the street , turning down the same block.
the shock of almost dying finally wore off; then the pain set in, looking down at your knees , you noticed the blood dripping from it. “that's just great.” you winced— you for sure we're taking a cab home next time, screw trying to see what the city had to offer, clearly it had jerks in leather jackets who were trying to kill you and themselves.
speeding past the line; people cheering for his victory, but he was pissed. the two bikes coming in; he hopped off his bike taking his helmet off, throwing it to the ground in anger. “whoa what fuck is wrong with you?” renjun asked. “why are you so upset you won?” mark asked , jaemin taking his helmet off. “im $100 dollars broke now thank you very much.” he said bitterly. “i almost hit some chick on the street , i fucked up the turn almost hit a pole.” he growled.
“i didn't see a girl.” jaemin said. “you sure it just wasn't an animal?” mark asked. “how many animals you know that are 5 feet and wear dressing.” he picked his helmet up, a large chip in due to him slamming it on the ground. “shit.” he hissed. “don't worry about it right now.” mark comforted the boy. “look, let's just get you a drink and girl, the night is still young and there's many races left , haechan and johnny are racing tonight.”
“haechan and johnny?” he said confused. “haechan thinks he can beat Johnny.” he laughed. “has the last three time not proven anything?” the elder shook his head. “everyone is betting against him , jisung felt bad so he voted for him , he's in for a rude awakening, let's go.” he said , the boy followed behind , completely ready to forget about the girl he almost hit.
…
“i told you to take a cab; you didn't and now look.” chaeryoung said as you walked through the campus; she walked you more so limped, the results of the fall. “how was i supposed to know they do races on that street?” you asked. “um, did the quiet road not imply anything?” she had a point, of course you weren't gonna admit it. “yeah well that doesn't matter, im never walking again.”
“i gave you the money, i still want a rematch though.” jaemin said , jeno scoffed, they were hanging around during break waiting for their classes to start. “you and haechan are gonna go broke trying to prove something.” he laughed. “hey i almost beat johnny last night.” renjun rolled his eyes. “please, he had you by 10 blocks.” jeno laughed at his friend's expense. “you’ll get him next time.” he knew he was lying but who was he to shut down his friends dreams. “i gotta go now.” he checked his phone. “gotta take my bike to the shop and get a new helmet after class.” he stood up , walking away.
“i have a shift today at the store.” you said. “you sure you'll be able to work today, what about your leg?” you nodded. “doyoung let's me sit down so it's fine.” you looked down at your knee, luck just wasn't on your side again because before chaeryoung could call for you to look up, you were bumping against a hard surface. “umph.” chaeryoung caught you before you fell. “jesus do i need to bubble wrap you?”
“you okay?” the voice of the person you bumped into said. “im fine.” you picked up your books that you dropped. “luckily my phone isn't cracked.” you finally looked at him, his eyes widening. “you.”
“yn?” chaeryoung looked at you, with confusion in her eyes. “do i know you?” you asked. “you should i almost killed you last night,” he said folding his arms. “well why are you upset with me? You almost killed me, not the other way around.” you frowned. “why were you on that road in the first place, any smart person knows what's it used for.” was he serious right now? he almost kills you and he's asking questions. “not if they're new to the city which i am.” you shot back. “you don't seem to be hurt, meanwhile my knee is messed up, are you gonna apologize for that?” he scoffed. “are you dead?”
“well no.” you said, he nodded, with a smug smile speaking. “well there's your apology.” was all he said, before he turned on his heel walking away. “what an asshole.” chaeryoung said. “he almost kills you and doesn't have the decency to apologize.” she scoffed. “who even is that?” you asked. “jeno lee, him and his group of degenerate friends do illegal street racing for cash sometimes.” she said. “you've been?” you asked. “absolutely not , i wouldn't be caught dead now there, ryujin, my friend from my class races down there , she's the only girl.” she said. “hot.” you said, she rolled her eyes. “don't let her hear you say that , it will go to her head.”
“everything looks fine, the breaks need tightening though.” johnny said after looking at his bike. “and you need a new helmet,” he said. “thank you johnny.” he said. “i thought something might've broken, i took a hard turn last night.” he said. “yeah i heard you hit a girl last night.” he scoffed. “i didn't hit her , in fact she has only a scratch.” he said. “you know her?” the elder asked. “not really, apparently she goes to the same university, she bumped into me earlier.”
“clumsily girl, she pretty?” johnny asked with a smirk. “she has a mouth on her.” he grumbled. “not what i asked.” jeno looked at the boy. “she's cute.” he confessed, he could remember your bows in your hair from earlier, he remembers one thing from that night, you had the same ones. “how cute?” johnny smirked , jeno rolled his eyes. “are you gonna fix my breaks today or do i need to call a cab back home?”
“it's not gonna take that long, i can be done in about an hour.” jeno nodded. “thanks so much.” he said , his stomach rumbling. “the convenience store is still open, go get something to eat.” johnny said. “by time you come back it should be done.” jeno nodded. “i’ll be right back.” he said. “bring me back a pack of smokes.” he left out the auto body shop doors.
“is it broken? have you been to the doctors?” doyoung, your boss asked worriedly. “i should've made you get into a cab, you're new here, you don't know your way around.” you laughed. “i'm fine doyoung, just a little pain , it will go away soon, stop worrying so much.” you said. “how can i not , you're one of my best workers, and i only have two.” he said. “and do you see haechan anywhere , i'll die if you leave.” he stressed. “try and stay off it , lord, what am i gonna do with you kids.” he walked to the back, you smiled at your boss.
“what did you get for number 13?” chaeryoung said over the phone, just as the door opened. “hello.” you didn't bother looking up at the person. “it's 12.” you said. “12? i got 2.” she said. “im not sure why— look i have customers we'll finish this later.” you said, “and redo that math, it's not correct.” you hung up, just as a lady and her daughter came up to the register. “hello.” you smiled, the lady looked remorseful. “im sorry my daughter spilled a milk in the isle.” she said the little girl hid behind her mother. “hey sweetie, it's okay.” you grabbed a loli from the counter. “here , my boss won't mind.” you whispered , smiling. “thank you.” she smiled.
“don't worry, i'll clean it up.” you said as they left the store. “thank you so much and im so sorry.” she quickly ushered her child out. “crap.” you stood up a pain shooting through your leg. “ow fuck!” you whispered shouted bending down to fix the bandage. “give me a pack of smokes.” you straighten up, “i need more than that.” you said , finally realizing who it was. “you again?”
he made eye contact with you. “for someone that's new to the city , you surely are everywhere,” he said. “or are you just following me.” he smirked. “yeah, i managed to track where you lived , and got a job within the hours.”
“i don't live around here princess, im getting my bike fixed.” he said , you gulped. “do-dont call me that.” you stuttered. “a pack of smokes please.” he smirked , noticing your red face. “princess.” you turned around, grabbing a random pack of cigarettes. “h-here, give me the money.” you said , taking his bills putting them in register. “did i break your bike?”
“why princess , you feel bad?” he smiled , gosh his smile was so charming. “we-well — it's fine you didn't do anything, bikes need fixing sometimes.” he said. “especially with what i do.” you nodded. “good.” you said , taking in his appearance. “i-i have to clean that milk up.”
he watched you walk away; he noticed you limping to the back, waiting for you to get back with the mop and bucket; feeling bad , he sat his food down, walking over to you. “move back , go sit down.” he grabbed the mop. “i can do it.” you said. “im trying to apologize princess , go sit down.” he said , you limped back to your seat , watching him , he was incredibly fit , his body flexing in his jacket , it made you hot. “the way you're staring at me , someone can come in and steal and you wouldn't even know princess.” he put the mop in the bucket , putting it to the side , turning with a smirk. “i-i wasn't staring.”
“sure.” he said. “you shouldn't walk home.” he said. “why are you and your friends racing?” he scoffed. “because of your leg.” he said. “well im not , i’ll catch a cab.” you said , handing him his food. “here you go.” you said. “let me take you home.” he said. “on your bike?” you asked. “the thing that almost killed me , im fine.”
“i'll go slow.” he said, you thought about it. “you promise?” he looked at you, doe like eyes , much like what he saw that night. “yeah , princess, i'll go as slow as you like, although faster is always better.” the underlying sexual undertones to that made your body tingle. “so is that a yes?” you nodded. “if it's not too much , i get off in an hour.”
“i just have to go pick up my bike, the auto body shop is only around the corner , wait for me outside okay?” you nodded , smiling. “okay.” you said, he returned a smile. “don't miss me too much princess.” he winked before leaving out the store leaving you flustered.
johnny was almost finished by the time he returned back from the store. “what helmets do girl riders use?” he looked through the helmets. “well your head isn't the size of girls , so why are you asking?” johnny asked. “the girl i almost ran into, she works at the convenience store around the corner.” he said , watching the elder smirk. “she hurt her leg, im giving her ride home.”
“you're buying her a helmet.” johnny said. “you haven't seen this girl, she's not getting on without one, and mine is too big, are you gonna help or not?” the boy said. “this one.” johnny handed him a helmet. “it's pink.” jeno said. “trust me.” he shook his head. “fine.” he handed the boy his card. “be careful.” he said. “please i've had girls on my bike before.”
“where's your cab?” doyoung asked closing up the store; he insisted on waiting with you. “i'm not exactly catching a cab.” just as you said that , the roar of a motorcycle came down the street, jeno stopping in front of the store. “doyoung.” he said. “tell johnny he owes me $50 dollars.” johnny nodded. “multiple packs of cigarettes a week , he's costing me my business.” mumbling making you laugh. “come on princess , we gotta go.”
“you're getting on that thing?” doyoung said. “i pay you enough, you should be able to afford a cab.” he said. “he offered.” you said. “i even got her a helmet.” jeno interrupted. “see.” doyoung nodded. “don't go fast , and hold on tight , if you get hurt i can't be stuck with haechan , tell him to call in every once in a while, jeno , i don't pay him to slack off and barely come in.” you waved to doyoung. “see you tomorrow, okay?” you walked over to the boy. “here.”
he handed you a pink helmet with the tag still on. “did you just buy this?” you asked. “no i keep it just in case.” he said sarcastically. “don't worry about that , just put it on and get on.” he said , you put the helmet on , slowly climbing on the back. “okay let's go.” he laughed. “oh princess , you clearly haven't done this before.” he reached back, grabbing your hands. “wh-what?” he wrapped them around his waist. “so you won't fall off.” he said. “tighter baby.” you wish he would stop with those names. “is this tight enough?”
he smirked , taking off; you yelped , your arms locking around his waist. “you jerk!” you shrieked; he felt your head leaning on his back as he flew down the streets of the city.
you peaked your eyes open , seeing the cars and buildings fly by; you fully opened your eyes , slowly sticking your hand out to feel the wind , jeno could see you through the window , he smiled , coming to a stop light. “you like it?” he asked. “can you slow down a bit?” he heard your small voice. “it is pretty though.” you said. “and the wind feels nice.”
the light turned red , signaling him to go. “we’re almost to your dorm , hang on.” he said. “I'll go slower.” he said taking off , a little bit slower , but it was much better , he could feel your arms around his waist as he pulled up in front of your dorm. “we're here princess , you can open your eyes.”
he helped you off the bike , taking the helmet off your head. “that thing is scary.” you said. “how do you ride it all the time?” he smiled. “it's the adrenaline princess , the rush.” he said. “that's what i love about it.” you chewed on your bottom lip. “you know how your bows is your choice of drug?” you pouted , he smiled. “this mines.”
“yours is gonna get yourself hurt.” you said. “you worried about me princess , earlier you were ready to chop my head off.” you folded your arms. “well that's because you didn't apologize, now that you have , and you've been nice to me , i can't help but stress.” you said. “i can handle myself , don't worry that pretty little head,” he said. “go in and ice that knee,” he said. “my name is yn.” you said. “i know princess , i read your nametag,” he said, you scoffed. “bye bye jeno.” you waved him off. “go in princess.” he watched you go inside the dorms , before putting his helmet on , speeding back down the road.
…
“i still can't believe you get on that thing.” chaeryoung said , it had been a week since then , you've seen him a few times , he even gave you a ride home after class. “and with him nonetheless.” you both walked through the campus after class. “you don't know him he's a degenerate yn.” she said. “he is nice and even bought me a helmet.” you said. “oh well then i guess that makes it okay , you hear my sarcasm right.” she scoffed. “he goes slow.” you shrugged. “after i told him to.” you said. “you talking about me, princess?”
you jumped hearing the voice, turning around. “i don't appreciate being called a degenerate.” jeno said. “don't worry, i mean your friends as well.” chaeryoung looked to the boy on his left. “especially you na jaemin.” the boy smirked. “still upset about me not calling you back?” you could see your friend about to snap. “we're gonna go.” you grabbed her hand , turning to walk away.
“there's a show tonight, you should come.” jeno said. “and why would she do that?” chaeryoung said , he looked at you. “princess?” his gaze pierced through your skin, you chewed your bottom lip. “i-i have to work.” you said. “that's okay , it's at night.” he said. “i can pick you up, i still have the helmet” he smirked. “yn?” chaeryoung said. “well i mean ryujin will be there.” you said. “it couldn't hurt, could it?” you shrugged. “i told ryujin i did before going to one of those things.”
“i can give you a ride.” jaemin said with a smirk , she scoffed. “and it looks like i will die before going.” jeno tapped you. “i'll pick you up after work yeah?” you nodded with a smile. “okay.” you said. “chaeryoung you riding with me?” jaemin winked. “i'll take my chances with ryujin , go fuck yourself na jaemin.” she grabbed your hand , dragging you away. “bye bye!” you waved.
“she's cute.” jaemin said once you were out of earshot. “you like her?” he watched his friend stare at you until he could no longer see you. “i'll take that as a yes.” he patted his friend's shoulders. “you bought her a helmet?” jeno slapped his friends hand off of him. “shut up.” he said. “those things are like a hundred dollars, you met her a week ago, are you crazy?” they continued down the campus , as his friend teased him. “haechan is gonna love this.”
“are you crazy?” doyoung asked; he was so confused on how you met jeno when you entered the shop; so you explained to him— and you may have let it slip that you were going to the race. “yn are you trying to stress me out?” he said. “no need to panic.” you said. “no it is , those bikes are not safe, im worried.” he said. “chaeryoung, my friend she's coming with me , i'll be extra safe.” you reassured the man who became like your older brother. “you better , i'll kill jeno if you get hurt.”
“you better go slow while she's on there.” doyoung hounded the boy. “let me see the helmet she's wearing.” you put your hand on his shoulder. “doyoung , please go before someone robs the store.” he said. “be careful.” he said , before walking away. “are you two related?” he asked. “no i told you i'm new to the city.” you said. “then why is he up my ass like you are?” he got off the bike , opening the seat to grab the helmet. “here.” he said , putting the helmet on your head , helping you on to the bike. “arms princess.”
you wrapped your arms around his waist. “you can go faster today.” he smirked. “yeah , you liked the rush yesterday, didn't you?” you slapped his back. “it's okay little adrenaline junkie , i'll go faster.” he put his helmet on. “hold on tighter baby.” he said right before he turned on the motorcycle , the roar of bike making you flinch. “you're okay , i promise , i won't let you get hurt.” he said before speeding off down the street.
you had to admit , the feeling as you both sored down the street sparked a feeling inside you , you actually managed to keep your eyes open , the sun was setting , the pretty colors blurred with the passing cars , jenos sent was calming to , he checked on you every time you stopped , the heart fluttering jester made you smile , he was actually nice.
he slowed down as you came up on the empty street. “hey this is where you almost killed me.” he scoffed , “but i didn't did i princess?” you nodded. “i guess.” you said. “i haven't harmed you yet, have i?” he said , you started to hear more bikes. “no.” you said. “and i won't , i promise.” he said , you began to see people , a lot of people. “we're here,” he said.
he helped you off the bike , taking your helmet off. “it's loud here , how don't people catch you?” you asked. “luck.” he said, fixing your hair , you blushed. “well would you look at this?” you heard a voice. “when jaemin told me you were bringing someone , i thought he was joking , the bastard was right.”
“that's haechan.” jeno said, “you are the cutest thing.” he held his hand out. “h-hi.” you took it , shaking , making the man in front of you jealous , he pushed it aside , glaring at the boy. “your friend is over there , let me go get checked in and i'll bring you a drink , okay?” you nodded , walking away. “you bought her a helmet?” haechan said. “jaemin said you only knew her for a day.” haechan laughed. “you like her?” they made their way over to the check in. “what does it matter to you?”
“you wanna bet on her?” he said , jeno turned to the boy. “what the fuck do you mean by that?” he questioned. “you know what i mean , don't be dumb.” the other boy smirked. “you win , she's yours , i win — finish that sentence i dare you.” mark noticed the two , stepping in. “hey you know the rules , no fist fighting, you wanna go you use the bikes.” he said.
“what do you say jeno?” jeno scoffed. “you know you can't beat me haechan.” haechan shrugged. “a cutie like that gives me all the motivation i need.” jeno was about to lunge at the boy when jaemin stopped him. “you know he's just trying to get in your head.” the boy said. “you want race lee , let's do it.”
“this is ryujin , she's racing tonight.” chaeryoung said. “really?” you said. “who?” you questioned. “me princess.” jeno handed you a drink. “princess? didn't think you were the relationship type lee.” ryujin said , chaeryoung scoffed. “because he isn't. “who said that?” he said looking at you , your heart pounded. “well loverboy who else is racing?” ryujin asked. “haechan.” her eyebrows furrowing. “okay , you, i understand , you're competition , but hyuck , he lost to jisung.”
“haechan wanted to race me.” he said. “why?” you asked , looking at him with those doe eyes again. “because he has a humiliation kink princess , don't worry,” he said. “well be careful.” you said. “i will.” his hand coming up to your cheek , pinching it , making you giggle. “come on lover boy the show is about to start.” ryujin said. “wait for me at the finish line, yeah?” you nodded. “okay.”
“what was all that about?” chaeryoung asked. “met you only a week and he's already smitten , you got some type of love spell perfume on?” you laughed. “no.” you said , smiling to yourself. “well i see the feelings are mutual , all i say is be careful and be safe.” she said , you nodded. “racers at the mark.”
jeno kept his eyes on you , you waved at him ; he laughed, waving back. “don't let her soften you up lee , i might actually win and take her from.” haechan said , pulling down the shield of his helmet, jeno grunted , pulling his shield down. “ignore him.” ryujin said. “we both know he'll be coming in last.” “racers are you ready?” renjun yelled over the cheers. “don't die.” jeno put his foot on the gas. “please be careful.” you crossed your fingers. “go!” you saw smoke as the racers took off.
“she better be careful.” chaeryoung said , as you waited , you bit your lip nervously. “don't worry, he knows what he's doing.” she reassured you. “i guess.” you said , knowing the boy only a week , you still couldn't help but worry. “he better be.” you bit your fingers. “i hope he is.”
jeno could feel haechan at his side; he sped up , the boys words ringing in his ear, it pissed him off , making him speed up more , your voice in his head as well. “slow down.” was all he heard. “slow down.” he couldn't now , he could see the finish line , where you waited for him , all he had to do was cross the finish line.
“here they come!” someone yelled out , you both ran to the finish line. “oh i can't look.” you said , chaeryoung held your hand , as the bikes came into view. “oh it's him!” you cheered. “he's winning.” you jumped , clapping. he came speeding down the street , and past the line , everyone was cheering , as the other racers drove in.
once he sped past the line , he stopped taking his helmet off , people cheering his name , but he didn't care about that , his mind was on one thing— one person, you. he saw you in a crowd of people , you were searching for him , your eyes finding his. “jeno!” you shouted , running over to him. “you won!”
that was all you could say before his lips were smashing against yours , he held your face , lips moving. “let's get out of here.” he pressed his forehead against yours. “now.” only giving you time to say goodbye to chaeryoung , putting your helmet on and helping you on to his bike. “where are we going?” you asked , the look in his eyes made shivers run down your spine. “mine.”
you couldn't even remember the ride to jenos with how fast he was going; his need for you at the moment was strong , that's why he was taking you to his , he was closer , the closer he was the quicker he could feel you.
pulling up to his apartment complex; parking right in front of it. “come on princess.” he helped you off the bike, taking the helmet off. “let's go up.” he said , his hand low on your back , “you must want me as much as i want you.” he cornered you in the elevator. “you didn't hesitate to get on the bike when i said i was taking you back to mines.” his body covered yours , you looked up at him with wide eyes. “don't look at me like that , it makes me want to ruin you even more.”
it was fair game once he got you into his apartment; he wasted no time , picking you up , wrapping your legs against his waist , pinning you against the wall. “je-jeno.” you moaned , his hand coming up to your neck. “you like this?” he squeezed a little , a whimper falling from your pretty lips. “keep on making those pretty noises baby , makes me want to fuck you right here against this wall.” he growled. “pl-please.”
“no baby , im gonna fuck you right in my bed.” he said , lowering you down , sinking down to his knees. “but i am gonna eat this pretty little pussy right here.” you bit your lip as lifted your dress , dipping his head under , you felt him pulling your panties to the side , kissing your clit. “fu-fuck jeno.” you moaned , as he licked up your cunt. “oh my god.” you gasped.
you grabbed his hair , grinding down on his face, he moaned against your folds , his nose bumping your clit , his hands pinning your waist down to the wall , he was in heaven , this was better than anything he ever felt in his life — maybe even racing. “je-jeno im gonna cum.’ you moaned. “im cumming !” he held you up , your body toppling over as you came hard around his tongue.
he emerged from under your shirt , a smile on his face , his lips covered in your juices. “you taste so good baby.” he said breathlessly. “like fucking candy.” you whimpered; he really couldn't hold himself back anymore , he lifted you back up , taking you right to his room , throwing you on to his bed. “gotta feel you around me.” he rid himself of his own clothes ,before joining you in the bed. “gonna stretch this pretty pussy with my fat cock baby.”
slotting himself in between your legs. “you want it baby?” he dragged his cock along your folds, his mushroom tip catching your clit , making you twitch with need. “pl-please jeno i need it.” you whimpered , whimper turning into a full blow moan as you felt his tip entering your needy hole. “ oh fuck princess.” he groaned as he fully bottomed out. “your tiny cunt is sucking me in.” he hissed.
“pl-please move.” you ran your fingers down his abs as he began to move. “f-faster.” he cursed , moving at your wishes. “fuck princess , your pussy is magic.” his cock dragging along your walls. “so-so big.” you moaned , “yeah princess , but you're taking me so well -fuck- so fucking well.”
you let out a pornographic moan as he began to plow into your , folding your legs , hitting a deeper angle. “fuck baby , you got tighter.” he growled in your ear. “you gonna cum?” you moaned. “you gonna cum all over my cock?” you nodded dumbly. “ye-yes.”
his cock twitching inside you; he groaned. “fuck I'm gonna cum , want me to cum inside you?” he moaned. “flood your tiny cunt with my cum?” you nodded. “please , please cum inside me.” his hand tangled up in your hair , bringing his mouth to your ears. “cum for me.”
you gasped cumming around him. “shit.” he cursed. “i'm gonna cum.” he growled. “gonna cum inside this pretty pussy.” was the last thing he said before you felt the warmth of his cum emptying inside you. “fuck.” he groaned , his cock slipping out of you. “you felt so good, princess.” he leaned in , kissing you. “so fucking good.”
“i was worried.” you said , your chin resting on his neck chest. “i told you not to , i know what im doing.” he said. “you're such an adrenaline junkie and haechan seemed to make you really upset, how was i supposed to know?” you pouted. “just learn to slow down sometimes okay?”
“i’ll learn to go slow if you keep coming to my races?” he said , you nodded. “fine.” he smiled. “you're so cute, you know that princess?” you smiled. “but you're not that innocent you know , you're a little adrenaline junkie too , i saw you in my mirror on the way here.” he flipped you over. “it's okay though baby.”
“your my little adrenaline junkie.”

Wind Breaker Boys when they accidentally hit you
Nirei Akihiko
No, he didn't hit you. He thought he did. You just said "ow" and his world crumbled. Knees, hands, forehead on the floor apologizing profusely.
When really—
"Ow... My eye." You try to blink out the pain. Tears start to pool in one of your eyes as they attempt to get rid of whatever's in there.
"Oh, a-are you okay? Let me get that for you." He carefully cups your face and blows on your eye. He also manage to get the stray lash out. "There. I really thought I hurt you there." He chuckles. "I should... probably be careful next time."
You stare at him confused. Why should he be careful?
Suo Hayato
"Oh—" You both say in unison when Suo's hand bumps against your cheek.
"Are you okay?" Suo's eyes are wide. He patiently waits for your response.
"I'm fine. But why are you asking as if you hit me that hard?" You rub your cheek but you can feel the heat on your face.
"Because I didn't mean to touch you like that."
"Huh?"
"I actually meant to do this." Suo reaches for your cheek again. You feel the warmth of his palm brush against you. His fingers reach the strands of your hair and he pulls off a stray leaf that got caught. "See? It was stuck in your hair."
You kept walking trying to hide the fact that you're blushing but he knows it already. You little cutie.
Kiryu Mitsuki
You bumped into Kiryu while walking. You were looking at everything, everywhere all at once.
"Oh, sorry." Kiryu pulls your hand and moves it to hold your waist instead. "I wasn't looking where I was going."
"Huh? But we're just going straight, right?"
"Huh? Yeah, but I was looking at you actually. Then I accidentally put my foot in front of yours."
You narrow your eyes at Kiryu and try your best not to smile but Kiryu gives you that smile that charmed you countless times, causing you to fail and blush.
Sakura Haruka
It was the first time Sakura didn't think about his presence around you. He had his guard down and why wouldn't he? He's supposed to relax with you and he was around his friends that he trusts.
"Ow..." You say. It didn't sting. The hit wasn't too heavy but the contact did surprise you. This is the first time that you guys are close to each other.
You look at Sakura and everyone else around you looks at you as well. You blink and Sakura just blinks back, frozen like a deer in headlights.
Aren't cool boyfriends suppose to comfort you when you're hurt? Why isn't he moving?
Your expression changes and you whimper — a moment too late maybe but it's a reaction nonetheless.
Nirei springs into action. "Y/N! It's just an accident. He didn't mean that."
Suo just chuckles to himself reading the room. Sakura was blushing profusely, embarrassed and not sure what to say.
"C'mon, Sakura. Say something!" Nirei tells Sakura.
"I'm sorry..." Sakura says with pursed lips.
"I think we can find something to treat Y/N's 'injury' somewhere around here." Suo prompts with a knowing smile on his face. "Is there a particular one you need, Y/N?"
"Just ice is fine." You answer. You can't help but feel a bit embarrassed. You only meant to tease Sakura but this is fine too. Better actually.
"I'll go get some." Nirei moves and comes back shortly after with an ice pack from one of the shop owners.
Sakura immediately grabs the ice pack then carefully places it on your 'injury'. He still has his lips pursed and cheeks pink. "I'm really sorry..." He mutters, looking disappointed at himself.
You put you hand over his and smile. "Thank you."
Sakura blushes even more and turns his head away. He should probably get used to being close to you moving forward.
a/n. I needed this out after reading half of the manga. 😅

I watched the Cars trilogy recently and with that came a wave of nostalgia and a strange desire to make my own designs for the cars as humans. Aka taking all the charm out of Cars but scratching the brain itch.
So, no need to drag out the intro any longer, I have some notes written out about em for those who might be interested or just bored.
Lightning McQueen:
I tried to make his suit look as professional as possible, with references pulled straight from McQueen's paint job/stickers, while also keeping in mind that I do intend to draw him more so I didn't want to go too crazy with the design. In a perfect world I would've let my maximalist cravings win, but alas let's keep it digestible for my sanity.
I feel like everyone's kinda on this unspoken agreement that McQueen as a human would pretty much look just like Owen Wilson, and that's the big picture here. I used Wilson as inspiration while tweaking and exaggerating a few things to my preference. (Okay, well not everyone, lmao.)
The chevron markings on the front cut off at the side seams not wrapping around the entire suit as to not clash with the sponsor logo on the back.
Also, he's wearing special gloves to help him grip & have control over the steering wheel. I think sometimes that looks a little weird when his sleeves are down & cuffed, but I just feel like he needs to have the gloves there— especially when he comes out of the top half of the suit. (It's also lowkey supposed to mirror his 4 tires when you consider his shoes are also black.)
So yeah, that's basically all I have to to say regarding Lightning McQueen's page. I feel like a lot of my design choices are self explanatory and, honestly probably shared universally... I mean, he's really cut & dry. (But I love him ⚡︎)
▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
Mater:
I'm not gonna lie, Mater was a bit challenging for me. I definitely had to step out of my comfort zone but I wanted to stay true to the character and not butcher anything.
My first thought was to give him a fishing pole to substitute for the tow hook— but then the more I was thinking about it, the more that felt so... out of place? Radiator Springs is in Arizona, which is (not entirely, but mostly depicted in the movie as) a desert. And even though there are beautiful bodies of water in Arizona, in the movie I don't recall seeing any prominent ones, at least in relation to Mater. So, scratch that, instead I gave him a lasso, which isn't supposed to entirely substitute for the tow truck— no, he still drives a tow truck, but the lasso is so he can grab people/things similarly to Tow Truck Mater (very cartoony). My explanation for this is the cattle ranch. Yeah, Mater is a tow truck driver but perhaps he has a side hustle, or hobby, if you will.
Also, I didn't want to make him... dirty(??) Like, yeah, of course, Mater would obviously get a bit filthy from time to time, it's just in his nature, but that is NOT going to be the core of my design. In regards to the rust happening on him, I felt like instead I would substitute this with being very tan. Again, Arizona is a desert. Because of this, he would take off his shirt often, and this would substitute for the missing hood like on Tow Truck Mater. The removal of the shirt also reveals just how tan Mater actually is.
It's his uniformed overalls that have his original aqua color, but from years of wear & tear they've been patched up with brown patches, this would also reference the rusting. The one strap is supposed to mimic the one headlight being broken, and I know that's a stretch, believe me, I wanted to do something with his eyes but eyes are not the headlights in the Cars universe..... think about this. Think about it really hard... if you know what the headlights are in the Cars universe then this actually makes perfect sense.
He is taller and wider than McQueen, which is a reference to the literal frame of their vehicle counterparts. (A little hard to picture with these images, but eventually I'll draw them together!)
▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
That's all I have to say really, but do let me know what you guys think! Gas it up and it might encourage me to make a part 2 with some of the other characters! Who would you like to see next? ♡ Thank you so much for reading & have a great day, Kachow!!

Jungkook x Reader: Lost You
Summary: You've always been in love with him, but today you were done waiting for him, to see you, to understand you. You were finally done with Jeon Jungkook.
Wc: 1.9k
A/n: I tried something new idk how it is. I'm almost nervous to post it. But who cares 😶🌫️. Anyway Chan and Jimin were spotted in a restaurant in comfy clothes and I'm digging that!
⚠️: Its kinda sad (?!), Jungkook is a douche bag, a little suggestive.
_____________________________________
You kept calling him but no use, his phone was switched off. He should have been here 3 hours ago. You hoped, he was in a business meeting as he told you when you asked him to come home by 6 and he said he'd be home by 7 as he had a meeting.
You still remember the first day you met him, back when you were both 10 in one of your dad's fancy parties. "His father is important to the company, they are new in town, go play with him and be friends. Ok, Y/n?" Your mother had told you with a sweet smile on her face as you nodded. And the rest was history. Considering your circle mostly considered if the children of the other directors and business partners he fit in with all of you well.
15 more minutes passed, and you could only worry more, you walked to the kitchen to get some water and placed your phone and whatever you had in your hand on the counter and get a glass of water, mid way of drinking it you heard the sound of your door open and close and you rushed to see.
"Jungkook?" You called out his name and he looked at you wide eyes like a doe caught in headlights, an expression floated on his face which looked like remembrance.
"You were with her weren't you?" The question flew from your mouth before you could filter it and you found that look filled with guilt on his face. You scoffed and folded your hands and started to walk off to your shared room when he said.
"Why are you like this? She needed me okay!" Jungkook said. "What about me Jungkook? I, your girlfriend, needed you! And you went off with Minji" you said in frustration. "Don't say as if I was sleeping with her. She's still my good friend" he argued and you walked to the kitchen to grab your belongings and stepped inside the room he and you shared.
You slid down to the ground as you closed the door. You still remember that day she walked into your life, Seo Minji.
It was when you were 15.
"Hey, isn't that the new kid?" Mingyu asked and you nodded. "Aw she's sitting alone" Jihyo said frowning, "Y/n go invite her here" Chan said, elbowing you. "Why me?" You asked, not like you were opposed to this aspect but you were simply curious. "You're good at this. I'm saying from experience" Jungkook said flashing his bunny smile, the smile that made your heart skip a beat, you would have done anything for that smile.
And you did, you invited Minji to your table, soon you found out her father actually worked for your father. "I feel strange sitting among you guys,I don't think I fit in" she said shyly. "Bullshit, we're all people" you daid ensuring her, "Yeah, there's nothing much different between you and us, welcome to our group" Jungkook said, flashing that sane smile at here.
It was truly where it all had started, Minji trying to get the boys in her clutches. She thought you and Jihyo didn't notice her accidental touches or her kawai and weak acts in front of them. While Chan could see through them, Mingyu and Jungkook never did.
"Why didn't you two speak up when we were trying to get Mr Kim to invite Minji to the party?" Jungkook asked and Mingyu shook his head. You tightened your fist as Chan held it to ease you up. "She'd feel out of place," Jihyo tried to reason. The truth is you didn't want her to engage further with your circle. She already got Jungkook and Migyu to get her everything she might want. You watched as she used those two as her personal atm, a bat of her eyelashes and she had the
"Gucci bag she wanted but couldn't get as she had to buy her grandmother's medicine"
"Prada shoes cause she was sad her (nonexistent) fish died"
You three tried to show them the real deal, but they refused as Minji never asked, they were willing to give her because she "deserved to be happy too".
You smiled at yourself as you heard a knock on the door. "Babe, seriously why are you angry? I swear nothing happened, we just talked, Mingyu has been ignoring Minji and she felt alone, so she just needed someone to talk to and have a glass of wine with" He said. This always happened, One call and Jungkook would go running to her.
You remember when you were 18, and your father and Jungkook's father declared that you and Jungkook would be engaged. You couldn't help your smile, you would be wed to your best friend to the person you fell for all those years ago. You were happy that now you could help him see reason, help him come out of Minji's clutches. But one look at his face, and you felt all your feelings drain away, his face was filled with disdain and he walked away. He didn't even consider that you could be the one for him for once. Did you expect something else? Did you expect he'll come happily to you and agree to this, you idiot.
But, how could you? You lived to look into his doe eyes that shone bright, not for you, for Minji. You lived for that toothy smile that went brighter when Minji was there. No, they never were in a relationship, rather she never came into a relationship with either Jungkook or Mingyu.
You still remember that day when you were 21, you had just graduated and were at your father's (soon to be yours) office working on some designs about a deal with your assitant Jimin and your now business associates Bangchan and Jungkook. No you two still spoke, you all were still friends and he acted like that evening never occured like he never broke your heart and crushed it into pieces. You remember Mingyu rushing into your cabin and hugging you tightly cheering "She said yes! She said yes! Minji said yes". You were stunned for a moment, you all were. "To what?" Chan managed to ask the man who was happy beyond bounds. "To marry me!" He said, "I'll go home, I just came to tell as I knew most of you are here, I've texted Jihyo, now I gotta tell my parents!" He said with his bright smile. "Congratulations" Jimin said to the departing man, who screamed a "thank you". All of your eyes shifted to Jungkook, his face motionless, teeth gritted, his fist so tight that his knuckles were turning white, a single tear left his eye. You shouldn't but you felt like your heart ached seeing him and you realised how down bad you were still for Jeon Jungkook. "Can you guys complete the rest without me? I'll just sign it" he asked. "Yeah, sure" you said and he walked away. The next day Jihyo had called you and told you, "of course she's marrying Mingyu, he's the heir, the elder child, Jungkook is second to his brother. How is he holding up?" You gave the exact words that you told Chan earlier that day "i don't know". The truth being, he never even read your texts, you didn't have the courage to meet him.
You sighed at the banging sound from across the door. "If you need something tell me, if not please go to the other room". "Can you open the door once Y/n please. Please" he pleaded "Go away Jungkook please" you said, you wished you had said that to him that day two years ago. 3 days after Mingyu's proposal to Minji, you found Jungkook at your door, "can I come in" he had asked you in a broken voice. Your heart broke with his, you couldn't bear to see him like that. He came in to hug you, and you patted your head.
"She loves him, I have to accept that. I don't know how you do it Y/n" he said, and your eyes went wide, tears stung them. "How do you even bear to look at my face much less comfort me after all I've done. How do you look beyond your feelings?" He asked. "Since when have you known?" You asked. "Since 3 days ago, when I saw the hurt in your eyes and realised how you have always been there." He said holding onto your cheek. Your brain told you to pull away, to push him away, to throw him out of the room, when his face inched closer to yours. You knew what he's doing, yet you didn't pay heed to the voice in your head. You focused on the doe eyes that looked into yours deep. Those arms that slid around your waist and pulled you close. You chose to focus on those lips that were attached to yours. You had thought, maybe this time he chose you, maybe this is it for you two. And it was, for the next few months.
Jungkook and you walked hand in hand and stood beside Jimin and Chan along with Jihyo, on Mingyu and Minji's wedding day. Gyuji marriage was the talk of the town and things were finally looking up. Until 3 months into the wedding and you all were in the same party and seemingly Jungkook and Minji caught up, "you are still my best friend" Minji had told him, you tried your best not to drain a flute of wine on her. You didn't really mind much, ge did come back to you. He did love you. Things weren't so bad a few missed dates were seen and apologized and managed up until he missed your 2nd anniversary date and then your birthday. Once because Minji was sick and Mingyu was out of town and other because he mixed up the date after he had drunk a lot the day before with Minji and got absorbed at work.
But today was your last straw, you were done waiting around for him. You were done waiting for him to see you beneath Minji's shadow. You were done crying for him. You were done with him. So you texted Chan and Jimin, asking if their spare room was empty and if you could crash for sometime. Hence, you packed a small bag, took your phone and wallet and left the apartment. "Y/n! Y/n no. Please don't leave me over this. I'll be more attentive and careful. Y/n please." He pleaded. You might have stopped if this would have been any other day, but not today. Cause today you were done with Jeon Jungkook and the bullshit that comes with him.
_____________________________________
You don't stop, he lost you. He really lost you. He walks into the room you used to share. He found a book on the floor near the bed and a white and blue strip inside it. Jungkook was familiar with this strip or well, device, his eyes shifted to the words that were written on the little screen, 'positive'. "FUCK FUCK FUCK" Jungkook cursed as he felt like tearing off his hair, he did this to himself.
Part 2: I loved you so bad

Scared (family fic)
This is technically a Stan x Reader fic, but there's no real romance in it and the relationship isn't the focus, so I'm calling it a family one
Summary: Mabel needs your help
Warnings: very light angst
The door creaked open and a sliver of light pierced the darkness on the porch of the mystery shack.
“Mabel? Whatcha doin’ awake, kiddo? It’s late.”
“Sorry Grunkle Stan,” was Mabel’s reply, before turning to you, “I really need your help.”
You began to make your way to the door, but Stan interrupted, “Kid, now’s really not a good time. Can it wait till morning?”
“No, Stan, really it’s okay,” you assured him. With a better view than Stan, you could see that Mabel was upset. It was quite a contrast to the energetic, bubbly girl you had gotten used to.
“Alright, just don’t keep her too long.” Stan pointed a stern finger at the 13-year-old.
Once inside, the tears began to well in Mabel’s eyes.
“What’s going on?” You crouched and placed a hand on Mabel’s shoulder.
“It happened,” Mabel pulled her sweater way over her head. Sweater town. Dipper had warned you about this. You pulled Mabel in for a hug, both for comfort and to hear her better through the thick fabric.
“What happened?”
“I started my period,” was the muffled response.
“Oh, that’s alright,” You gently pulled the sweater just under Mabel’s eyes, “C’mon, we’ll go get you everything you need.”
Mabel emerged fully from sweater town and begged, “Please don’t tell Grunkle Stan.”
You reassured her, “Don’t worry. He won’t know a thing.”
The two of you emerged back on the porch, newly equipped with jackets and car keys.
“Stan, I’m borrowing your car.” You tried your best to walk quickly before Stan registered what you’d said, but he managed to get in front of you.
“Wait a minute, where to? Here, I’ll drive.” Stan attempted to grab the keys from your hands.
“No Stan, just Mable and I.” You shoved your hand with the keys into your jacket pocket.
“Look, I’m not just gonna let you drive my car with my niece to who-knows-where in the middle of the night without an explanation.”
“Stan, we’ll be back in ten minutes. I promise.”
Stan peered around at Mabel, who was hiding behind you. He’d seen her in some of the scariest situations a kid could be in, but for the first time, it seemed to be him that she was afraid of. Defeated, he said, “Alright, you get ten minutes.”
Stan watched the headlights fade away and spent the whole time glancing between the dark forested road and his watch until you returned. He opened the car door for Mabel, but she made a beeline to the shack while tightly clutching a grocery bag. Stan led the way back to your original place on the porch.
“You gonna tell me where you went?” Stan kicked at a few small rocks.
“I promised Mabel I wouldn’t.” There was a long silence.
Stan’s voice was shaky. “She looked scared. A different kind of scared.” Stan put his head in his hands, “Sometimes I wonder if last summer was too much for her, or if I did somethin’ I still don’t remember.”
“She is scared, Stan - scared of growing up.” You gently rubbed his back. “I felt the same way the first time I got mine.”
Stan looked up at you, and you watched the realization settle onto his face.
“But hey, she asked me not to tell you, so don’t go makin’ it weird.” You playfully elbowed him. “It wouldn’t hurt to be a little extra nice, though.”
Stan gave a tiny smile in response. “Sounds like I’m making stancakes in the morning. Wonder if we still got any of that edible glitter layin’ around.”

Mile High Club - Just Us Chapter 97
Warnings 18+: Smut, Fingering (Wanda Receiving), Public Sex
Word Count: 5090
Series List | Chapter 96 | Chapter 98
================================
So once again we were awoken at 5 am by the sound of my alarm this morning. Be proud of me because I didn't fall out of bed this time. Which deserves a nice pat on the back. Well done, me.
This time Wanda also got up with the alarm since she had a long nap yesterday, so she made coffee for me while I went to wake up the two teenage boys. Maybe that's all she is keeping me around for? Waking up the boys so they hold a grudge against me and not their mother.
I mean they are both giving me the evils through the rearview mirror right now, and my god is it just as scary as when Wanda does it. I give them a small smile as I look back to the road, Wanda's hand on my thigh squeezes gently and I move my hand on top of hers, lacing our fingers together. Her thumb starts rubbing along my thumb, content with the small amount of physical contact between the both of us. She isn't as clingy as yesterday, not that there's anything wrong with that, but we haven't gone five minutes without having some form of contact.
I suddenly jerk my hand away from Wanda's when I move to put my arm across Wanda as my foot hits the brake, the car coming to a screeching stop. Wanda's hands are holding my forearm against her chest and I immediately turn around to check on the boys.
"You two okay?" They both slowly pull their seat belts so they aren't trapped in place giving me a thumbs up and humming out a yes. "What about you princess? You okay?" I turn to look back at Wanda as I see the boy's eyes widen as they look at the reason I slammed the brakes on.
"I'm okay baby. My heart is going a little fast but I'm okay." I flatten my palm against her chest feeling her heart beating rapidly and I give her an apologetic smile, her eyes having never left mine for a moment.
"I'm sorry I just didn't want us to hit that." She now turns to look out the window at her jaw drops.
"Wolves." She breathes out in awe, sitting forward in her chair to look out the windscreen as her hand keeps my arm against her.
I hear the boys unbuckle their belts leaning forward between mine and Wanda's seats, their eyes wide with wonder at the sight before us. There is a pack of 8 wolves currently crossing the road ahead of us. There are 4 older looking wolves, 2 of them at the front of the small pack and 2 of them at the back. I hear Wanda gasp when she sees the pups running around and play fighting on the road, squeezing my arm in excitement.
One of the older wolves turns its head to look towards the car, the orange hues of its eye glowing brightly in the headlights. The pups roll over one another and once they are safe in the woods, the older wolf that is looking at us turns around and follows the pups.
"This is so cool." Tommy breaks the small silence that has befallen the car as all our eyes watch the wolves disappear into the dark forest.
I look over to Wanda who's eyes flick to mine at the movement and a huge smile makes its way onto her face as she shuffles in her seat excitedly. The boys lean back in the chairs, once we can no longer see the wolves, and put their seat belts back on. I start to drive away as Wanda’s eyes follow the patch of forest where the wolves disappeared into before turning back to me. She drops my arm so my hand lands on her thigh, her hand moving to rest on top of it and I start to gently rub my thumb on the outside of her thigh. Not for anything but the touch, that we both relish in.
The rest of the drive is uneventful as Wanda and the boys all fall asleep to the light music that is playing quietly, and the darkness from outside helping to ease them into sleep. I have continued to hold my hand on Wanda's thigh, my thumb every now and again stroking at it, because the one time I went to take my hand off her thigh she whimpered in her sleep at the loss.
So now I know, rough plus kinky sex equals cuddly and clingy Wanda.
Good to know.
I pull the car into one of the many spaces in the car rental car park, turning it off as I look at Wanda. I start to rub my hand up and down Wanda's thigh as I bring my other hand to her head that is gently resting on her palm, her elbow on the door. My finger traces the edges of her face from her right temple, down to and along her jaw before moving up to her left temple. I trace the finger along her eyebrow before moving down the bridge of her nose that causes it to scrunch slightly at the feeling.
"Princess, it's time to wake up, we are at the airport." Wanda lets out a tired groan as my finger moves down to her lips gently tracing over the slightest cracked and dry skin.
"5 more minutes." She grumbles sleepily as she pushes her face into her hand.
"I'm sorry princess, but you gotta get up. You can sleep on the plane." Wanda tiredly opens one eye, her other hiding behind the palm of her hand, a small smile making its way onto her face.
"Hi baby." Her voice raspy with sleep and I smile back at her at the sound of her thick accent that she hasn't hidden away from me since the day I told her not to.
"Hello princess." I lean across to her, my hands still on her face and thigh, and gently press my lips against hers as she hums at the feeling.
"Do you want to get the bags? I will wake the boys up this time." She mumbles against my lips as she moves her head away from her hand, opening her other eye; both of them glistening in the early morning sun.
"Okay. I love you." I whisper between us for only her to hear.
"I love you too, dorogaya." Wanda presses her lips back against mine as I smile into the kiss at the pet name.
"I really like that you're using dorogaya again." I pull away completely, resisting the urge to kiss her again, my thumb rubbing gentle circles on her cheek. Her fingers trace patterns on the back of my hand that's on her thigh as she turns her head to press a kiss to my palm.
"Mmm, well you smile everytime I say it and I love your smile. So I'm going to say it as much as I can, dorogaya. Do you prefer it over, baby?" I hum in thought as my eyes scan her soft features, her eyes diligently watching the action.
"Don't get me wrong, I love when you call me baby but your accent plus dorogaya. Literally shivers." Wanda gives me a toothy smile as she giggles a little, her eyes flicking to the boys before leaning forward so her lips ghost mine.
"Dorogaya." Wanda over pronunciates every part of the word, saying it slowly, her voice croaking slightly as her voice is full of that spine tingling accent; biting my lip as my eyes flick to watch the movement of her lips.
Our eyes flick to the back when we hear a small grumble and Tommy fluttering his eyes open as he stretches his arms above his head, giving us both a sleepy smile. Wanda takes the opportunity, of me looking at the young boy, to plant a kiss on my cheek before moving to get out of the car. I reach over and give Tommy's knee a small squeeze before getting myself out of the car and looking over to Wanda who is stretching out while making a bunch of weird noises. They are the best stretches.
I walk to the back of the car, Tommy jumping out the car to follow me, and as I open the door I watch Wanda carefully try and wake Billy up. Tommy helps to unload the bags, while I watch Wanda struggle to lift Billy out of the car so I put my bags on the floor and make my way around to her.
"You good princess?" I giggle when she huffs trying to get the seatbelt off Billy.
"He is hardly awake, he must have had another rough night last night." I smile at her, placing my hand on her shoulder gently pulling her away.
"You grab the bags, I've got Billy."
"Are you sure? He might get mad at you for waking him up again." I see a small hint of worry as her eyes flick between me and Billy.
"I'm not going to wake him up." Wanda gives me a confused look, but I don't answer, I simply turn to look at Billy's sleeping body.
I lean into the car, pulling Billy's arms over my shoulders and gently place my hands on both his legs as I manoeuvre him out of the car. I turn to Wanda, jumping ever so slightly to push Billy's body up more and wrap my arms under his bum and his arms sleepily curl around the back of my neck.
"I'm going to carry him until we have to go through security." Wanda steps forward rubbing her small hand up and down Billy's back and he stuffs his face into my neck as he sleepily whines into it.
"I love you." Wanda's eyes flick from watching the movements of her hand on Billy's back to my eyes as she takes in the sight before her.
"I love you too, princess. Come on, let's get going before we miss our flight."
~~~~~
I gently jump up and down as I whisper Billy's name trying to get him to wake up as we wait in line for security checks. Wanda turns around to watch as Billy stuffs his face moving it side to side as he grumbles against my skin.
"Don't wanna get up mama." I freeze at his words, not quite sure if I actually heard him correctly and when I look down to Wanda I realise she must have heard him too because her jaw is slightly ajar and eyes wide with shock. I rapidly blink and start to rub my hand up and down his back.
"Come on bud. Your mama is right next to us, but you need to get up for me. Just to go through security, I can pick you back up once we are through."
"Mama wha…" Billy removes his head from my neck, his eyes going slightly wide when he realises he is in my arms and not Wanda's. "Oh, hi Y/n."
"Hi buddy." I bring my hand from his back to his forehead pushing his hair out of his face.
"Sorry, I thought mom was the one waking me up in the car." I lightly shake my head with a smile.
"Don't worry that little head of yours. I technically stole you from your mom. Can I put you down though?"
"Mhmm." I slowly let him slide down my body as he rubs the back of his hands on his eyes to rid them of sleep and he takes a moment to balance when his feet hit the floor. He gives me a small smile before turning around trying to wake himself up more, while I feel an arm wrap around my waist.
"Did he call you mama?" Wanda stands on her tiptoes as she whispers into my ear, and I shake my head.
"He thought I was you." I turn to see her frown pushing her lips to the side as her eyes look between me and Billy but slowly nods, deciding not to say anything else on the matter. I pull her with me as Billy and Tommy start placing their bags down on the trays ready to go through the scanner.
"You okay?" Wanda's hand squeezes my hip as she asks the question, looking up at me with her eyes full of adoration.
"I'm okay." I lean down to peck her lips before moving to put my own bag in a tray as she walks through the body scanner and over to the boys. I walk through the scanner and cringe when it goes off, sometimes they do sometimes they don't but every fucking time they do its a wild ride to try and convince them I have metal in me.
"Come over here please ma'am." I cringe even more at the use of ma'am, I'm 22 for Christ sake not 80.
"I have medical papers in my ba…." The TSA agent uses his metal detector stick to lift one of my hands up which I instinctively jerk away earning a warning glare from the man.
"Arms up, legs shoulder width apart. Back facing me please." I roll my eyes following his orders before looking at Wanda and the boys, who have collected my bag for me and they look through it for the papers I was on about.
"I have medical papers to prove…."
"Unfortunately I still need to scan you, just to be on the safe side." I roll my eyes but begrudgingly agree as he starts to scan my arms.
"Nice little family you got there." I smile politely at his attempt to make conversation.
"Yeah, they really are wonderful." I smile across to the three of them, Wanda waving the papers in her hand but I shake my head and she stuffs them back in the bag rolling her eyes towards me.
"So how long have you been together?" The man asks as he starts scanning across my back and the machine goes wild along my spine.
"Just over a month." He raises his eyebrows in surprise as he lifts his scanner back up my spine until it goes haywire again.
"And you already met the kids. Lucky you. Wish my girl would let me meet her children. You said you had medical papers?" My small frustration leaves my body when I realise he is just doing his job and doesn't seem to have anything against me.
"Yeah, they are in my bag. How long have you and your girl been together?" He nods in understanding as he starts to scan my legs, once again the machine beeping erratically.
"3 months tomorrow. Turn around for me please." I spin around looking at the man, who matches my height easily.
"Maybe bring it up, say you're ready. It may just be that she is not. What's the relationship like with the dad?" He starts scanning again as he shakes his head.
"There isn't one. Left her and the child when the kid was 2. She's 4 now."
"Well maybe she is afraid the same thing will happen. Just talk to her. See what she says."
"What if she says she isn't ready?" Am I really having this conversation with a complete stranger while he scans my body with a fucking metal detector? Yes, yes I am.
"Then she isn't ready, you just have to be patient. It's hard being a parent, I've seen that first hand. You have yourself and someone else to protect. She might surprise you if you just talk to her." He gives me a smile as he puts the scanner back in its holder beckoning the boys and Wanda over who are quick to stand at my side.
"Sorry, just doing my job but could I see the medical papers?"
Wanda gets the now crumpled piece of paper out of the bag and when I give her a questioning brow she simply shrugs. Billy leans against me wrapping his arms around my neck so I quickly lift him back up and he pushes his head against my neck as he mumbles a thank you.
"Well you folks are good to go. Sorry for the delay and thanks for the advice." Wanda looks between me and the TSA agent and I shrug my shoulders earning an eye roll from the woman I love.
"No problem. Hope it all goes well. Have a nice rest of your day man." I hold my hand out which he quickly takes and gives me a small handshake.
"Safe flight." He says as he drops my hand.
"You too." I cringe, my head dipping so my head rests against Billy's shoulders as the TSA agent just laughs.
"Don't worry, you're not the first and you won't be the last person to say that to me." He laughs out as I give a small nod and the 4 -well 3 - of us start walking towards our gate, Billy falling asleep easily on me.
"How long till our flight?" Wanda looks over her shoulder smiling at the sight of Billy sleeping in my arms once again.
"Maybe 20 minutes." Wanda hums in acknowledgement as we head towards our gate.
~~~~~
"There you go buddy." I gently place Billy down in his seat, doing up his seat belt as he smiles at me tiredly.
"Thank you Y/n." I give him a smile as I brush some hair out of his face.
"Of course. Try and stay awake until we take off, then once we are in the air you can sleep."
"Okay. Love you." I place a small kiss on his forehead.
"Love you too buddy." I ruffle his hair before moving to my seat next to Wanda and pulling the small door across so we have a bit more privacy.
"Hi baby." She turns in her seat with a gleaming smile.
"Hi princess." I grab her hand and start littering kisses along the back of it and up her arm relishing in the giggles that pass her lips.
"Can you hold my hand on take off again?" She asks sweetly, biting at the corner of her lip.
I move my hands to cup either side of her face, my fingers intertwining with her hair as the tips of them come to rest around her ears and my thumbs start rubbing small circles on her cheek bones. Her eyes flutter shut at the sensation, her lip being pulled into her mouth more as her head relaxes into my touch and I'm practically holding her head up for a few moments. After a few seconds her eyes open up slowly, her piercing green eyes staring into mine as she turns her head slightly so her lips come to rest on the inside of my wrist on my right hand.
"I will always hold your hand." The corner of her lip pulls upwards but not too soon after she playfully pulls the skin of my wrist between her teeth, so gently I barely feel it before releasing it and planting a kiss on the same spot.
I do exactly as I said I would holding her hand once the plane started barrelling down the runway, hers squeezing mine so tight I swear I lost feeling for a good few minutes. I even sang the same songs I did when we left for Canada and Wanda couldn't stop speaking praises about my voice and how she wants to hear me sing all the time. I blushed from the attention, not used to people talking about my voice so highly, and in turn Wanda blushed as she realised she was gushing about it.
We are a few hours into the flight with only a few more to go, when Wanda decides she is bored of sitting in her seat. So pushes me over in mine as she gets comfortable next to me; the chair already reclined fully down. Wanda then pulls a blanket over us as she pushes her slightly cold face into my neck, her cold skin against my warm skin sending a small shiver down my spine.
I start to reposition myself to get more comfortable, also ensuring Wanda stays mostly where she has planted herself. Which is mostly on top of me, like normal, and this is why it's becoming more and more clear that there won't be a certain side of the bed we sleep on soon. The whole bed will be mine as slowly but surely I become Wanda's. I mean more often than not she will fall asleep with most of her body on top of mine and when we wake up, she has moved in her sleep so she is completely on top of me.
It's cute.
Anyway…
I push my arms under Wanda’s body slightly as I pull her more onto me, missing the way she gasps against my neck as we settle down. It's only when she lets out a low hum into my neck while her teeth start to graze the skin do I realise something might be up.
"You okay princess?"
"Mhmm." She nods against my neck as her body sinks further into mine, another low hum vibrating against my neck.
"What's got you humming away into my neck." She kisses the underside of my jaw before planting her teeth on the skin there playfully biting at the bottom of my jaw.
"Your knee." Is all she says in a breathy tone and it confuses me slightly.
"My knee? What about my knee?"
As I say it I move my legs and when I feel my knee hit up against Wanda and a sigh passes her lips before it turns into a hum as she pushes herself against my knee more. My knee is placed nicely between her legs and I smirk to myself.
"Oh my knee." I say smugly as my hands creep down to Wanda's hips, holding them still since I know she will start moving them if I don't.
"Yes. Your knee." She flushes bright red when I pull my knee into her more and push her hips downwards so she can get the most amount of pressure on her core.
"Princess, we are on a plane. In public." Wanda brings her head out from my neck hovering it over mine slightly.
"I don't care." I raise my brows at her whispered confession. "And this is a lot more private than both of us disappearing into the toilet, because everyone would know. But here no one can see us."
"I guess it is."
I press my thumbs against her hips, holding her up as I move my knee away smirking at the small whine I hear and her pleading eyes. I slide one hand up her back all the way to the back of her neck where I gently grip it and slowly lower her head into my neck. I turn my head slightly to whisper into her ear.
"You are going to have to stay quiet for me princess. Any noise that's too loud and I will stop. Understood."
"Understood." I keep her head in my neck with my hand, as my other one pushes her body to the side of me more trying my best to make this look as inconspicuous as possible if someone was to check in on us.
With her body mostly on the chair, but one of her legs still on top of mine and her head in my neck, I move my hand from her hip down to her pants. Luckily, we all decided on sweatpants because they are the most comfortable thing to wear when flying so my hand easily slips under the waistband. I can feel the heat radiating from her core through her underwear as I gently tease her clit through the fabric.
"Always so wet for me." I husk into her ear, pulling it gently between her teeth as she whimpers against my neck.
"Always." She whispers back in the same husky tone.
"Are you sure princess?" I ask, as I start to push her underwear to the side.
"Please touch me." She begs quietly in my ear, her hips jolting every so slightly when I run my fingers over her core, collecting her wetness as I do.
"Your wish is my command." Before she can say anything in return I sink two fingers into her entrance knowing she can handle the sudden intrusion and she buries her face into my neck more to keep herself quiet.
I press my thumb against her clit, putting pressure on it as I roll my thumb around it. I start with a slow pace of moving my fingers in and out of her. Her leg moves further across mine, opening herself up a little more as she hums into my neck when I curl my fingers inside her. My other hand finds its way into her hair and I grip it tightly pulling her head back slightly, biting her lip to hide a moan as her dark eyes look into mine.
"You're doing so well for me babygirl." Her eyes roll to the back of her head as I find the spongy part and curl my fingers against it, her body arching slightly towards me.
"Fuck...y/n." Wanda breaths out as she pushes her face against my shoulder as her body gently rocks with my slow pace.
Her teeth sink into my shoulder when I push another finger in, stretching her out and I start to push my fingers deeper but keeping the pace infuriatingly slow wanting to work her up and make it worth the wait. She moans quietly into my shoulder as I start to speed up the movement of my thumb on her clit, putting more pressure on it as I roll my thumb around it more.
I start curling my fingers with every small thrust, speeding up ever so slightly and her hips start to move to the rhythm of my fingers. Wanda moves her face to bury it into my neck as my fingers hit a particularly pleasurable spot as she moans into my skin. I can hardly hear the moan so I decide it's safe to continue and not use my threat quite yet.
"Harder….please." Wanda whines into my ear as I follow her demand straight away, thrusting into her hard and pulling out slowly as I curl my fingers.
"Cum when you're ready Princess." Knowing she will ask for permission shortly once her walls start to clench around my fingers.
A few more hard thrusts later, she bites down hard on my neck, her hands scratching down my sides, a moan muffled by my skin as it vibrates into my neck. Her walls suffocate my fingers so much I can hardly move them and her hips twitch as she releases onto my fingers. I keep my fingers inside her to help her through her high, as she removes her teeth from my neck and starts placing kisses along the mark she has left.
She whimpers as I remove my fingers from inside her, one of her hands grabbing my wrist and pulling my wet fingers up to her mouth. She places my three fingers into her mouth, moaning lightly at the taste of herself as her tongue moves around them to get every last bit. Her hips twitch slightly when I push my fingers in further, her eyes rolling back as she sucks on them a little harder. Knowing that we are still very much in public I reluctantly remove my fingers from her mouth wiping the saliva coated digits on my shirt.
Wanda's eyes flutter open, her green orbs shining brightly as she looks at me and her face flushes red, stuffing it back into my neck. I let out a small hiss, the sudden movement causing my neck to jerk and the bite mark I now know is definitely there sending a small bit of pain shooting up my neck. Wanda delicately starts kissing the hurt, her hand moving to trace the mark once she removes her face from my neck to look at me.
"You okay?" Her eyes flick to the mark then back to my eyes.
"I'm okay. How does it feel to be a part of the mile high club?" I ask cheekily as Wanda hits my chest in embarrassment.
"Don't even start." I smile cheekily at her as she rolls her eyes.
"I'm just saying, we are now both honorary members." Her fingers start to trace patterns on my chest as her eyes don't look away from me.
"I love you." I melt at the soft tone in her voice and she must see it because she gives me a fuzzy smile before nuzzling her face gently into my neck.
"I love you too princess." I weave my hand through her hair. "So what do you want to do when we get home?"
"Unpack, watch a movie, order food and sleep." I giggle at the pre prepared list.
"Okay. Then tomorrow we can set stuff up for Halloween." Wanda removes her head from my neck with wide eyes.
"Oh shit. It's Halloween. I haven't even got the boys costumes." I peck her nose making it scrunch.
"It's okay. We can sort something out. I may have something on the back-burner so just give me the go ahead and we will have something for tomorrow." Wanda smiles at me in slight surprise.
"You have the go-ahead otherwise we won't have anything to wear."
"Okay." I see her eyes start to close and a small yawn passes her lips. "Go to sleep Princess, I will be here when you wake up."
"Is this our forever?" Wanda whispers out as she practically climbs on top of me to sleep, I scrunch my brows not quite sure I heard her correctly, as she once again places her head in the crook of my neck.
"Is what, what now?" My hands move to gently rub up and down Wanda's back as her body sinks against me more.
"This right here. All of it. Is this our forever?" She questions lightly, her lips moving against my neck as she speaks so quietly, her hot breath fanning over my ear and neck.
"I would love this to be our forever." Wanda leaves a small peck against my neck, breathing out gently as she whispers between us.
"Me too dorogaya."

Imagining myself getting mad at my little sis for stealing my Those Whom The Gods Detest tour Nile shirt again, and stretching the front of it with her tits. I'm furious - I can't exactly get another one, I've managed to take care of it for fifteen years (she hasn't even been around too many years longer than my shirt), but my little twerp sister has decided to stuff her stupid fucking tits in them AGAIN. I grab her wrists and pull her arms up above her head, before peeling my threadbare, faded shirt off her. The little slut isn't even wearing a bra underneath! She stands there and stares at me like a deer caught in headlights, stammering a pathetic 'sorry'. I decide to teach her a lesson for stealing from me again. I push her to the ground, pinning her in place by stepping on her hair, and start pissing all over her big stupid tits and her bratty lil face
okay but I'm actually a piss whore so this unfortunately fits so well with me 💔💔💔
When is it my turn to experience this irl </33

Eddie doesn't like crying in front of other people. He never has. He's fine with other people crying in front of him. He thinks it's good to get your emotions out around someone you trust.
But he just can't do it. He's not used to talking about his feelings in front of other people, not without getting shut down or berated. It had been like that all his life, engrained in him by his father at an early age. Crying made him weak. Crying in front of others made him weaker.
And as much as he knew that wasn't true at all, it was something that he couldn't shake. It was stuck in him, buried under years and years of repressed emotions and hidden trauma.
So, when he's at Steves one night and there's a loud *bang* from outside, he doesn't know what to do. They both freeze up, stuck like deer in headlights. The bang is followed by the shouts of what sounds like college boys. They aren't angry shouts, or scared shouts. If anything, they're amused shouts.
Steve unfreezes, taking a breath. "Probably just some kids messing around on their weekend off," he says, and yeah, it makes sense. But it brings Eddie right back to that night, to Chrissy. Brings him back to Jason and his crew. Brings him back to the moment he nearly died.
And he can't take it.
He breaks. The tears start before he can even comprehend what's happening, and he's on his knees, hands curled in his hair, and everything is too loud and too bright and too much.
"Eddie?" Steve asks, and it breaks him from his spiral. He springs up and toward the direction of the door, blurred vision stopping him from getting far. Steve calls out again, this time closer in proximity. "Eddie? Eddie, please listen to me." He says something else, but Eddie doesn't listen. All he can hear are screams in his head. His own, his fathers, Chrissy's, Jasons, his fathers again.
He collapses. Steve catches him just in time, pulling him close. "Eddie, I need you to breath," he says. Eddie tries. It doesn't work. Steve is watching him break down and there's nothing he can do about it because at this point, he's numb, body stuck to the ground, limbs frozen.
There's a hand in his hair, stroking it lightly. That's the first thing he feels besides the overwhelming sense of panic. It isn't his own. It's Steves. Steve is stroking his hair. "You're going to be okay," he whispers. Eddie almost believes it.
Steve holds onto him tighter. Whispers more encouragements into his ear. Runs his fingers up and down Eddie's back, applying just enough pressure that it starts to break Eddie whatever state he had fallen into.
"You're okay," Steve says. "Everything is okay."
Eddie finally speaks. "I'm sorry," he says, and the tears keep going, soaking his collar and Steve's sleeves.
"No." Steve says. "No. You don't have anything to be sorry for."
"Oh," is all Eddie says in response. He takes a risk, burying him head into Steve's shoulder.
Steve lets him.
"Deep breaths," he says. "I'm here. I'm not going anywhere."
Eddie believes him. And he lets himself cry.

I'm On Fire
Pairing: DBF!Aaron Hotchner/Reader (gender neutral, I think!)
Word Count: 2730
A/N: I got towards the end and realized there was way too much I wanted to pack in here, so I think I'm going to do a part 2! Let me know if you'd be interested! <3
Warnings: older Hotch/younger reader, a brief scene of hotch getting off on his own, inappropriate relationships <3 I think that's it?
Your soaked clothes cling to your body as you stand in the pouring rain. Cars pass you, occasionally honking, leaving you sighing. Your dad was meant to pick you up from practice half an hour ago.
A familiar car nears the curb where you're standing, and you squint into the headlights, holding up your hand to block out some of the brightness.
Great, you think. Now I'm going to get kidnapped.
The car pulls over, and you take a step back. The window rolls down and you're met with a familiar face, leaning over the passenger seat.
"Get in," He calls.
Mr. Hotchner. Aaron.
You hesitate for a moment, looking around. It's dark. For all you know, your dad isn't coming at all.
You sigh and open the door, taking a seat. You're completely soaked, and you cringe at the way the rain drips onto the leather upholstery. You drop your bag in the footwell.
"I'm sorry," You say before anything else. "I'll get you a towel as soon as we're at my place."
Mr. Hotchner doesn't react, looking you over carefully. "Are you okay? It's freezing out there."
You nod. "I'm okay. My dad was..."
"Late," He finishes, his jaw clenching as he flicks the indicator on.
"Have you heard from him?" You say hopefully.
He shakes his head as he merges seamlessly into the traffic.
"Home?" He asks.
You nod. "Thank you, Mr. Hotchner."
"Aaron," He corrects, a slight sharp edge to his voice. "I've told you that you can call me Aaron."
You wrap your arms around yourself, the cold suddenly hitting you now that you're not able to walk around to keep yourself warm.
"Fuck," You murmur under your breath.
Aaron looks you over again. "Bad, huh?"
You will yourself to stop shivering. Fucking embarrassing, being soaking wet and now you're shivering like a dog. Pull yourself together.
You shrug. "Was out there for about half an hour."
"Half an-" He glances at you quickly, then back at the road. "Where's your dad?"
"Probably with his new girlfriend. He's not home much."
You glance at his wedding ring. For a moment, you wish that your dad was more like Mr. Hotchner. Dedicated, loyal. Reliable.
"How's Mrs. Hotchner?"
He clears his throat. "She's alright."
You look at him, the way his grip has tightened on the wheel, his brow furrowing, his shoulders closer to his ears.
"You're lying," You say softly. "You can talk about it, if you want."
He shakes his head. "Don't worry about it. We all have our things," He looks over at you, putting on a smile. "Right?"
You nod. "Right."
A while later, you arrive in front of your house. Aaron waits out front for you to let yourself in. You walk in, and he realizes that all of the lights are off. He waits in the driver's seat, feeling that something's wrong. Sure enough, you walk back out, looking at him sheepishly. He gestures for you to come back out to the car.
"This is awkward, but my dad's not home and there's nothing in the fridge. Could you take me to a drive through?"
He looks at you for a moment.
"Do you want to come to mine? I don't like the idea of you being home all by yourself. It's late."
It's your turn to look at him, trying to find the right way to phrase it.
"I'm not sure Mrs. Hotchner would understand..." You start, and he sighs, but nods. You're right.
The rain is still pouring down, so he gestures for you to get into the car. He presses a few buttons on his phone and you press your lips together.
"Hi, honey," He greets his wife. You look at his ring again. His wife.
"I was just driving home and I got a call from Gideon. He wants us back at the office to start on another case," He explains, turning his head away from yours.
You feel your heart beat faster. Why? Stop. Stop that.
"I'm sorry," He says, and there's real guilt in his voice. You chew your lip. He's lying for you. You almost interrupt to tell him to stop. You'll be fine. But then he's staring at the phone and the car falls into silence. She hung up on him.
"What do you feel like?" He says, and you can tell he's trying to sound upbeat.
"Maybe Mexican?"
He nods. "I know a place."
In all honesty, you'd been expecting him to take you to a Chipotle, or a Taco Bell, something quick and easy, then drop you home again. Instead, you find yourself outside a food truck, where Mr. Hotchner greets the owners by name.
"I forget, are you vegetarian? Is this okay?"
He points at an item on the menu and you nod enthusiastically. It sounds delicious.
While he's ordering, a drunk man lurches towards you. Without thinking, you grab onto Aaron's arm, pressing your body against his. He reacts immediately, pulling you closer.
"Hey," He says authoritatively, and his face sets into a stern look that you've never seen before. He looks lethal. The guy holds up his hands and walks away. You relax, taking a step back.
Aaron pays, and the two of you walk back to his car.
"You okay?" He asks, opening your car door for you.
You nod and slip into the car. He walks around the front of the car, glancing over his shoulder.
He places the food on your lap and starts driving again.
"I don't think..." He clears his throat. "I don't think I should wait for your dad at your place."
You look at him for a moment, trying to understand where his discomfort is stemming from. You're both adults. Yes, he was friends with your dad, but you knew each other well. You'd seen him around often, and spent time alone occasionally. Once or twice he'd driven you home, although those times were planned, not spur of the moment like this was.
"I think I need to change," You say slowly, trying to find a solution before you finish your sentence. "It's really cold."
"Oh, I..." He glances in the backseat quickly. "I have some clothes in the back?"
You nod. "Okay."
You unclip your seatbelt and slip into the back seats as Aaron drives down the highway. He tries to protest, but you're gone before he can get a word out.
"Where are you going?" You ask, eyeing him in the rearview. He keeps his gaze contained to the strip of glass, where he can see your eyes and little else.
"Oh." He looks at the signs hanging over the highway. "Home, I guess. I wasn't thinking."
You duck for a moment, pulling his shirt over your head. For a moment, you fumble with a few of the tiny buttons, doing most of them up.
"Do you want to drive for a while? We could wait until we hear from him?"
"Sure," You reply, touching your hair to see how damp it still is. It feels cool to the touch, but you'll shower in the morning, reset it from the unexpected 'wash'.
In the end it's 3am when your dad texts you back. He apologizes and says he'll be home around lunch. Aaron rolls his eyes when he thinks you're not looking, but you notice.
At some point after that, you must have fallen asleep, because you notice that Aaron has draped his blazer over you, and you have a definite stiffness on one side of your neck from where you'd rested it against the window.
You swear you hear seagulls, and you look around.
"Where are we?" You say, looking out over the water.
"Delaware," He replies, a hint of humour in his voice. "Rehoboth Beach."
"Don't you have work?" You yawn.
"Don't you?" He teases.
You shake your head. "Day off."
"I just kept driving, thought it's been a while since I'd seen the ocean."
You nod, and continue to watch the sunrise over the ocean.
He could retire here, he thinks. The charming seaside houses and hotels, the boardwalk, the sand dunes, the purplish blue of the ocean in this light. It's a beautiful place. The seagulls provide a soundscape unlike any other he's heard. It reminds him of Seattle, in a way, but fresher. The local coffee shop towards the end of the street, the lone jogger taking a quick run before work.
"How about a swim before we head home?"
"Are you kidding?" He says, voice taking on a higher tone as he responds to what he assumes is a joke.
"We came all this way," You shrug. "Seems like a waste not to."
"I don't have a swimsuit with me."
You gesture out at the empty beach. "I don't think anyone will mind."
He shakes his head. "That's..."
"Be crazy," You say, grasping his hand in both of yours. "You just drove to Delaware instead of going home. Something tells me you need some crazy."
He looks at you, dead serious for a moment. You know you've hit the nail on the head. He pulls his hand back from yours, but nods.
"Alright. Last one to get in buys coffee."
"Deal," You grin. Immediately, you tug off your (his) joggers and open the car door, racing to the shoreline.
"No fair!" He calls out. "I'm in a suit!"
He hears your radiant laugh carried back to him on the surprisingly warm breeze, and you look back at him, smiling widely, hair tousled by the wind. He wishes he had a camera.
He takes off his pants slowly, and the same for his shirt and undershirt. He leaves them folded on the driver's seat and tucks the keys in the nook just above one of the wheels.
"I hope you know my coffee order," You tease, sending a wave of water at him as he finally joins you.
His white button up has gone completely transparent in the water, and he thinks you look like a goddess in it. He tries not to look, but he notices your nipples showing through it. Your wet hair emphasizes your facial features, drawing emphasis to the planes of your face, and he thinks he could watch you all day long, the golden tones of the sunrise lighting you like some wondrous painting.
You lie back in the water, letting yourself float. For a precious, fleeting moment, your worries melt away into the water. Your absent father, your uncertain future... In this moment, with the sun on your face and the smell of salt in your nose, you couldn't be happier.
When you open your eyes and find your footing in the sand again, you see that Aaron is doing just the same; laying back and floating with his eyes closed. For a moment you think of kissing him, and take a step closer. Just as you do, he opens his eyes and stands up.
"You're right," He says, and you look at him questioningly. "I needed this."
You nod, then run your hand over your arms. They're decidedly chilly.
"Home?"
He nods. "On the way, you can tell me your coffee order."
It's all explained away easily enough, and what can't be explained can be cleaned or hidden.
You: a "friend" ended up picking you up and driving you to pick up some Mexican food, hence the leftovers. The white button up is tucked away in the back of your closet, rinsed in the bathroom sink so nobody noticed it in the laundry basket. You were home and in bed by the time your dad made it back home.
Him: the "case" ended up being a dud, but unfortunately Aaron had been halfway through the paperwork when they found out. He pays for the 24 hour car wash in cash, vacuuming the sand out of every crevice. He was starving, so he picked up some takeout on the way home, which is why the car smells like food.
It's almost too easy to slip into your new life of 'crime'. The lies come too quickly, fresh secrets blossoming in clandestine gardens.
It's 2 am when Aaron wakes up, drenched in sweat, with a pounding headache. He's so warm he thinks he must be running a fever, but when he checks with the thermometer, he sees that he isn't. He uses a cool washcloth to wipe down his face.
When he walks back into his bedroom and sees Haley lying there in the dark, he tries not to wish it was you instead. He tries to erase the images his mind had spun in the silver threads of a dream, the way your mouth had dropped open so prettily for him as he eased into you. He tries. He really does.
He scrawls a note to Haley on the notepad on his bedside table, slipping it onto her bedside table so she'll see it when she wakes up.
Didn't sleep well. I'll call in sick when I wake up.
Around 9, he wakes, panicking at first when he sees the time, then remembering he was planning to phone it in. He sees a note on his bedside table, folded into quarters. He'll read it in a while, he thinks. Haley's gone off to work by now.
When he closes his eyes, the images he'd earnestly tried to erase last night came pouring back. You were under him, in his shirt, looking up at him with your trademark smile, ready to burst with a witty comment or bubble of laughter.
He squeezes his eyes shut again. No. This is bad. Your friend's daughter. She's half your age.
It's just a thought. She never needs to know. You're not really doing anything, let alone anything wrong.
He slips his left hand into the front of his joggers, palming himself, surprised that he's already half hard. For a moment, he runs his other hand over his chest, his stomach, then reaching down, stroking his upper thighs, cupping his balls.
It only takes a moment of remembering you on the beach to make up his mind, and he starts fucking his fist, gritting his teeth. It'll be quick and dirty. Just to get it out of the way. Then he'll be over it.
He comes, hot and wet over his fist and his stomach, and he groans softly. He wipes his hand on his skin and reaches for his phone. He feels like he's at law school again; this messy barely-a-man, jerking off, calling in sick to work, ignoring his responsibilities for one day of peace.
"Gideon," He says. "I know, I know. I'm fine. I won't be coming in today."
He glances down at his stomach, still coated in come. He thinks about how your stomach would look... Shower.
"Tomorrow," He says quickly, not fully sure if he's answering the question. "It's a personal day, I'm not sick."
He hangs up without listening to the rest. He doesn't want to know the case details, the people he's neglecting by not showing up.
When he puts the phone back on his nightstand, he remembers the note, and picks it up, expecting to be greeted with some vague sentence of marital pleasantries.
Aaron. This isn't working. I'm not sure what else I'm supposed to say. I want a divorce, is that it? I want more, Aaron. I want the man who promised to love me on my best and worst days. I want a baby. I'm going to stay with my sister. Next time you're out of town on a case, message me so I can come get my things. I don't care about the house or the money. I can't do this anymore.
Before he knows it, he's at Rehoboth Beach. He looks out at the water and he's not sure what to do. He rests his head on the steering wheel, then realizes it's incredibly painful to bend down so low, and glances at the boardwalk. The town is shabby-looking, the paint peeling from the sea air. The coffee shop is shuttered, a 'for lease' sign in the window. The jogger's face is heavy, exhausted. There's debris in the dunes, the remnants of a night of teenage drinking, he's sure. The light of the sun on the ocean is too harsh.
Worst of all, his passenger seat is empty.

steve doesn't let people see him cry, especially not when he can't explain why he's crying.
he's invited everyone over for dinner, and they don't know it's to celebrate a birthday that he doesn't remember the date of. he knows they don't care that the dessert didn't turn out, probably didn't expect anything but snacks, and he has muffins to replace it. but steve didn't fall asleep until after 4am, too worked up about the dessert he has decided to not tell anyone about. and sleeping didn't make the feelings go away. and everyone got so loud, and he felt excluded from their conversations, and he had to leave the table to hide in the bathroom.
and steve had cried, tried not to breathe too loud, washed his face, and gone back to join them, a smile forced on his lips.
he didn't get to sit down before someone had asked for a refill, so steve had turned around to go to the kitchen, let the room stay dark since it was supposed to be a quick trip. but as he turned to open the fridge, eddie was suddenly there, next to him.
steve freezes like a deer in headlights.
"you okay? i called your name." eddie doesn't look concerned but steve's eyes stay wide, blinking, and suddenly new tears fall and eddie's expression turns to a confused frown.
"steve?" his gaze softens and he takes steve's hand in an offer of comfort. "let's sit down, yeah?"
"i had just managed to stop crying," steve complains. "and then you come out of nowhere and scare me and i don't fucking know why i'm crying to begin with."
he still lets eddie lead him to sit behind the kitchen island, hidden from view in case anyone comes looking.
"hey, everyone needs a good cry sometimes. and you look tired."
"mm. couldn't sleep until, like, 4." steve looks into the darkness of the kitchen, unable to face eddie while clinging to his hand.
"that's not good, sweetheart." eddie doesn't ask why, but probably assumes nightmares and not the anxiety that steve thought he had gotten better at managing.
he had been doing so good. and now he's crying, for a second time, and in front of eddie. when he doesn't let people see him cry.
but eddie just waits for him to be ready to talk, continues to hold his hand, doesn't judge him or make any jokes. steve thinks he might love him.
it's not a new thought.
"it's my birthday. or was. or will be. i don't know the date."
"that's fucking sad, steve." eddie moves to sit closer, not letting go of his hand. "you should have told us. henderson would have gotten you a gift."
steve manages something akin to a laugh. "and you wouldn't?"
"i am the gift," eddie jokes. "i'll give you the munson special."
"yeah? and what's that?"
"got you to smile, didn't i? greatest gift there is." eddie's words are soft, spoken only for the two of them. he reaches out with his free hand to wipe steve's tears away.
"happy maybe birthday, big boy."
steve doesn't kiss him, but he leans his head on eddie's shoulder, interweave their fingers.
"thanks for the gift."
eddie just smiles, and bends down to kiss his forehead.
maybe letting someone see him cry isn't the end-all steve thought it would be.
#steddie#my fiction library#i love processing through writing lol#i do not care if this makes sense or is ooc i just didn't want to cry a third fucking time for no real reason#i am staying happy the rest of the day. channeling that energy

peter: 86. “i meant it when i said i wanted to start a family with you.”
list f. Feeling the delicate coldness of the snowflakes on your skin
oh i can feel the angst with a happy ending coming on
warnings: not proofread, pregnant!reader
❀ masterlist ❀
you and peter had been through a lot. when you met him freshman year at midtown, you knew he was the one. you fell in love with him before it all. before spider-man. before uncle ben, tony stark, and aunt may died. before you were forced to forget him.
even after strange's spell, you found your way back into peter's life and fell in love with him all over again. true love always finds a way, right?
peter had since then told you that you didn't meet him for the first time during your second semester of college, but actually when you were fourteen and shared your whole story up to the present. it was so weird to hear, but you believed every bit of it because you'd always felt this unexplainable connection to peter. he was just providing the explanation now.
and maybe it was because you two had all of that history that your relationship now moved so fast. you had only known peter—from what you could remember—for about six months and you were staring at a positive pregnancy test.
if you had any true recollection of your past with peter, you probably wouldn't be as scared as you were, but you had no idea how he would react. if you knew him like you should, if magic hadn't been involved, you probably would've taken the test with him near. until you could gauge his reaction, you decided to keep the news to yourself.
"you sure you don't want a drink?" peter asked you when he refilled his cup. finals were over so naturally, peter's roommate harry osborn invited you both to a party.
after being cooped up in your dorm studying for the last couple of weeks, you immediately said yes when peter asked if you wanted to go without thinking about the fact that you couldn't drink. you could still have fun with peter though, if it weren't for the looming guilt of not telling him about your situation that followed you like a plague.
"yeah, i'm good," you told him, trying your best to not raise suspicion, "i'm not thirsty."
peter's eyes were on you as he took a sip of his drink. something isn't right, he thought. "are you okay?"
"yeah, i'm good." your fingers fiddled with the sleeve of your sweater to distract yourself.
"it's just," peter sighed when he couldn't figure it out, "you seem different. like you're acting different and you almost never turn down a drink unless you're sick or something."
you cast your eyes down to where you messed with your sleeve in an attempt to hide the tears that rushed to your eyes—damn hormones. you blinked rapidly to will them away before muttering, "i need to tell you something," and grabbing peter's hand to lead him away from other people.
the only place you could find with any privacy was a bathroom by the front door.
"you might want to sit down for this," you forewarned him which only caused his worry to skyrocket.
after following your instruction, he let out a light chuckle in an attempt to make things a bit more light-hearted than they seemed. "y/n, you're starting to freak me out. what is it?"
"okay, i don't know how else to say this other than to blurt it out, so here it is. brace yourself." you took a steadying breath. "i'm pregnant."
peter froze like a deer in headlights, the exact opposite of what you needed from him.
"peter, please say something."
"i-" was all he uttered before deflating and shaking his head.
normally, you would be more understanding of his obvious shock. normally, you would give him all the time he needed to think about this. normally, you would wait for him. but you couldn't right now. your mind was telling you to leave before he did.
so, that was exactly what you did.
you walked straight out of the bathroom and then out the front door right into the cold snow. you would've been more bothered by the temperature if your skin wasn't hot with embarrassment and your heart heavy with despair. each little snowflake that hit your face melted quickly into your flesh and dripped down to join your tears.
maybe a minute after you'd left the party, you were whirled around and met the eye of the boy who could now speak. "i'm sorry. i- my mind blanked, i'm sorry, but y/n, i need you to know that i love you and am here for you every step of the way on whichever path you choose. whatever you decide, i will be there, holding your hand."
"even if i keep it?"
peter could tell by the look in your eye that that was the way you were leaning. he nodded with a smile on his face. "especially if you want to keep it. i meant it when i said i wanted to start a family with you."
your brow furrowed, alerting peter of his mistake.
"we've had a few conversations about the future before the spell. i wanted a family with you then and i want one with you now."
"yeah?" you couldn't help the tears that fell freely from your eyes now.
"of course." the brunet brought his lips to your forehead. "i love you. always will. now, let's get you inside before you freeze to death."

My own (mini) oneshot yay!!!
Soo, I got an idea... What if the readers from my books switched places, for like a day? So I just made these tiny scenes and decided to put them here! I have some requests and other messages to answer but you guys have to wait a bit for those.
Sadly, not all of my books are included, only a few of them are. And if you haven't read my Wattpad books, this might be a bit confusing, but just take it as a fun little oneshot to those. Though these are made as just silly little scenes, so it isn't a perfect representation of the books because of... *coughs in 'flowers like you'* hrrmm, sorry.
Set in Stone + See Through + Dragon and Hydra + Flowers Like You + Childhood Love Lost at Sea
Mini oneshot!
Switched up
Childhood Love Lost at Sea x Flower's Like You (y/n)!
"When is he going to wake up?" "Be patient." "Hey! He moved!" "Hey, you okay, buddy?" When the stranger opened his eyes, he was more than shocked to see Kai, Cole, Zane and
"I-Is this the afterlife?" The stranger asked, blinking and sitting still like a deer in headlights.
"Well, you're not dead and neither are we, so no." Kai sighed as the stranger in front of him looked around in confusion.
"But..." The stranger tried to mutter something, when Jay suddenly dashed into the room, pushing the four others out of the way with an angry expression on his face.
"What did you do to (y/n)?! Where is he?! Where did he go?!!" Jay shook the stranger by the collar roughly.
"Wh-what? What i-is going on?" The stranger stuttered as Zane told Cole to hold Jay back, while the white ninja softly spoke to (y/n), who looked around anxiously.
"We do not know, there is no quite logical explanation to this. One moment everything was normal, and suddenly appear, and Jay's partner, called (y/n), disappeared.
"(y-(y/n)? Th-that's my... Wait, you don't know wh-who I am? Wait... I'm alive?" The stranger stuttered and muttered to himself until a sixth person walked into the room.
"I brought a hot towel, is the poor guy okay?" Nya's voice made (y/n) freeze in place.
"Yeah, I'd say he's okay, just shocked." Kai commented when the stranger muttered something under his breath, not quite loud enough for anyone to hear.
"Sorry, I didn't catch that, could you repeat yourself?" Zane gently asked as the stranger swallowed and spoke again.
"Nya?" His voice wavered, as if he was doubting what he was seeing.
"That's me. Do we-" But before Nya could finish another sentence, she stopped. The guy had burst into tears right then and there.
Set in Stone x See Through (y/n)!
"Firefly, please-" The stranger pleaded as he ran after the red ninja.
The red ninja meanwhile yelled out in distress, "Don't call me that!! I don't even know you!!!" before putting some more distance between him and the other boy.
Though the others on the deck were just as weirded out as Kai was, they were still glad they weren't the ones getting called weirdly cheesy nicknames by a guy wearing a long cape with a hood and a rather unsettling mask in his hand.
"Kai, don't mess around!" The boy shouted after Kai as the two kept running in circles around the deck.
"Umm, are we going to help him?" Jay questioned the rest of the team, who all seemed hesitant of the idea.
"I mean, he's not doing any harm?" "I've yet to calculate how this person got onto the Bounty while we are over 100 feet in the air, please give me a moment." "Man, this is hilarious! Let him do the thing for just a few minutes longer!!" Lloyd, Zane and Cole all said when suddenly the boy running after Kai stopped, and turned to the other ninja with a menacing look.
"...Are you all on this?" He asked, before walking over to the three with a glare worse than death, "If you are, knock it off."
"Hold it right there, mask man!" Jay first quickly interrupted, pushing the stranger away before Lloyd spoke up.
"We don't know what's going on either, so let's not start a fight here." The boy looked between each of the ninja and lastly Kai, who gave him a look of warning, before the boy suddenly flopped down onto the floor.
"...Sorry."
"Alright, let's start with introductions, shall we?" Lloyd proposed somewhat friendly, though he still had his doubts about the whole ordeal.
"...(y/n)." The stranger suddenly said, as Cole lifted an eyebrow.
"Uh, what about him? Wait, how do you know his na-" The black ninja was very swiftly cut off as the boy spoke up again with a scowl.
"It's my name." There was a moment of silence before Zane smiled.
"What a coincidence."
Nya, who had been looking around the for a while now silently, finally spoke up, "Speaking of (y/n), have any of you guys seen him?"
"He should be resting under the deck..." Kai started, but a strange feeling of suspicion ran over him, and soon enough it spread onto the other ninja too, especially Cole.
Almost as fast as Griffin, Cole rushed under the deck, and just as fast he ran back up with a face full of distress.
"He's not there."
Dragon and Hydra x Set in Stone (y/n)!
"Yo! That's sick!" Joy couldn't help jumping up and down as (y/n) twirled an empty tea cup in the air with his wind powers.
"It is really nothing, the others also have elemental powers." (y/n) conversed with the hyper active girl, who was being her usual self.
Something about "uh, multiverse this, multiverse that, don't worry, it's all cool!" Or that was at least the part that (y/n) heard clearly.
"Well I never guessed there would be a second Elemental Master of Wind," Shooter meanwhile spoke, drinking mint tea from his half-full tea cup. "I thought Morro was the only one." But those words seemed to alarm (y/n), who stopped in place like a statue, dropping the tea cup back onto the table before breaking into a cold sweat.
"Morro?! Is he here, too?!" The odd reaction made Nya, who sat on (y/n)'s left place a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"No. Morro is long gone." (y/n) seemed to relax and gave Nya a nod.
"That's good to hear." The Master of Wind heaved a sigh of relief, before grabbing an empty cup from in front of Joy, and smiling.
"Do you want to see some more tricks?" (y/n) questioned as Joy lit up like a light.
"Hell, yeah I do!" Joy was overjoyed. "Please, no." Shooter, meanwhile, was not.
