hi miss yami just wanna share this ridiculous conversation i had with a twt pixel yk the member x reader community is so hated by the supreme court of twitter right and there was this tweet about fanfics and someone said smth like "pls member x reader stories are always so cringy" and i replied not all, there are actually good mxr fics out there just don't go to wattpad and there were suddenly like... ppl throwing the homophobic word at me and i was like huh how was i homophobic i just said not all mxr stories are cringy???? anyways i didn't bother replying to them bcs there's no point of arguing but i just feel like mxm fic readers have this superiority complex like they think they're better than the ones who read mxr fics when they're literally ALL FANFICTIONS??????? 😭 i have read some mxm fics before but I don't do it often bcs i personally feel uncomfortable thinking about my idols being with each other like that.. NOT in a homophobic way... like have you seen that video of that one fifth harmony member talking about shippers in their fandom?? how she felt really uncomfy being shipped with camila?? yeah. that. of course, im not shaming those who read mxm fics because that IS TOTALLY their choice and preference. i just don't like it when ppl think right away ur homophobic for not reading an mxm fic of REAL PEOPLE in the REAL world 💀

glad u mention that fifth harmony clip, bc that was firsthand proof that celebrities feel uncomfortable being forced into relationships with their friends. the way kpop idols in particular are marketed literally pushes the idea that they WANT u to think of them as boyfriends/girlfriends/etc lol like ur not doing any harm by imagining urself with an idol? thats part of their goal? 💀 and let’s shut that ‘it’s homophobic’ argument down rn bc the point of xreader fics is that you can swap ANYONE into the fic. yeah most kpop xreader fics tend to be aimed at ppl with vaginas, but that’s.... literally.... because.... the vast majority of kpop fans.... are.... ppl with vaginas like what lol.
